Barcelona want Philippe Coutinho to replace Neymar

PHILIPPE COUTINHO will be unveiled as a Barcelona player on Friday, according to reports. It is believed the Nou Camp sides latest £148million offer for the Liverpool forward has been accepted.

The Nou Camp club have been desperate to bring in Coutinho since flogging his fellow countryman Neymar to Paris Saint-Germain in a world-record £198m move.

Coutinho has handed in a transfer request and not played for Jurgen Klopps side this season due to a back injury. However, he has been declared fit for Brazils World Cup qualifiers against Ecuador and Colombia.

Yahoo Sport claim it was while on international duty that Coutinho was told that Reds owners Fenway Sports Group had finally accepted Barcelonas offer. They had previously failed with a £118m move for the forward.

But now it appears the saga has finally come to an end and that he could be unveiled as a Barca star as early as Friday.

Liverpool want Real Madrid ace Vazquez to replace Barcelona target Coutinho - report

Coutinho has been chased by Ernesto Valverde for several weeks. However, Liverpool bigwigs are determined not to sell their star man and have snubbed repeated bids. But Barca keep pushing and the Catalans are confident a deal could still be struck.

Spanish news outlet Diario Gol reckon the Reds are eyeing a replacement and Vazquez could fit the bill. The Spain international is only a fringe player at the Bernabeu and Zinedine Zidane might be tempted to cash in.

The 26-year-old is a product of the Real academy having progressed through their youth ranks and into the first-team. Reports yesterday suggested Coutinho had held crunch talks with Jurgen Klopp in a bid to force through a deal.

The Brazilian reportedly warned Klopp that things won't go back to normal at Anfield if the club refuse to sell him. The former Inter Milan ace is desperate for a move and has told Klopp to stop spurring Barca's advances.

Spanish daily Sport claimed the Liverpool dressing room realise Coutinho isn't bluffing - even if Klopp doesn't.

BBC pundit Garth Crooks has urged Liverpool to sell Coutinho and develop another player. He said: "Liverpool are a wonderful club with a magnificent stage and they are very capable of finding another Coutinho.

Coutinho has made 138 appearances for Liverpool and scored 34 goals.

Yong Shin, MD: "We created a place we'd want our families to be treated." | Kaiser Permanente - Duration: 1:57.

>> Dr. Yong Shin, Chief of Cardiovascular Surgery at KSMC: - So, my name is Yong Shin, I'm one of the

cardiac thoracic surgeons here at Kaiser Permanente.

I'm the chief of the department and

I came here a little over seven years ago

when there was an opportunity to start

this heart program from ground up.

What we wanted to do was build a top notch

premier heart program where you kind of

wanna bring your own family to.

Our vision never included being a top three star program.

That wasn't actually, we weren't interested

in getting any kind of accolades, we were

really more interested in how do we do this

so that it's best for our members.

We were really aiming for quality,

safety, and service, and by doing that,

we also became very affordable too.

Our vision was let's put the patient in the center

and build our service around that patient.

We have a multidisciplinary team

that rounds on them twice a day.

It involves the surgeons, the nurses,

the intensive care, critical care doctors,

the hospitalists that work with us.

We have physical therapists, respiratory

therapists, nutritionists, social worker,

care coordinator, and we fix the

problem right there, together.

When employers are looking for health plans,

where to send their employees for

a heart problem, they want to go to

a place where they're gonna get their

best outcome, meaning least chance of dying,

least complication, which means less

time out of work, more time back to work,

and also what's most affordable.

When you're adding a fee for service world,

in a little way, it is kind of almost, there's a little bit

of a conflict of interest, right?

There's almost a perverse interest built in to it.

If you do good quality work, it is also

very cost efficient.

The old image of Kaiser Permanente that

you have had is old.

Barcelona still want to sell Sergi Roberto: Man Utd linked - report - Duration: 2:25.

Barcelona still want to sell Sergi Roberto: Man Utd linked - report

Barcelona star Sergi Roberto has been linked with Man Utd.

That's according to Spanish news outlet Diario Gol who reckon Barca are trying to get players off their books. Bookies BetStars made Manchester United favourites to secure his services earlier today.

BetStars Director of Trading Ian Marmion said: "As the transfer window edges closer to its deadline, Manchester United could continue their summer splurge by adding a few more big-name signings to their ranks before the clock strikes 11pm.

"Sergi Roberto's versatility to operate as a midfielder and defender has caught the interest of Jose Mourinho and the Barcelona player is priced at 17/20 to complete a move to Old Trafford today.

"United have also been heavily linked with Internazionale's Ivan Perisic throughout the summer window and the Red Devils are valued at 5/1 to make a late dash for the Croatian winger.

"Danny Rose has been hovering near the Spurs exit door this summer and is priced at 13/5 to become the latest Tottenham wingback to make a move to Manchester before the end of the window." Roberto has a tantalising £37.5 milion release clause.

But with time ticking away, a deal now looks unlikely. Diario Gol say Barca are still looking offload several fringe players.

It's suggested Paco Alcacer, Rafinha , Andre Gomes and Arda Turan are all deemed surplus to requirements. Gomes, who was only signed from Valencia 12 months ago, is on the cusp of a loan to Tottenham.

He made 30 games for Barca last term, scoring three goals.

Republicans Want To Cut $1 Billion From Disaster Relief To Pay For Trump's Border Wall - Duration: 3:56.

In case you didn't know it, portions of Texas are still under several feet of water.

As of Wednesday of this week, another Texas town was inundated with even more flooding.

Houston is still flooded, other areas still experiencing torrential rainfall.

The floods are actually expected to continue to increase even after the rainfall as rivers

come over their banks, as levees potentially fail, the flooding is actually going to get

worse even when the rain stops.

In spite of all of that, Republicans in Washington DC have come up with a brilliant plan to address

this national disaster.

They want to cut 1 billion dollars, or close to 1 billion dollars, from FEMA'S budget in

order to give that money to Donald Trump to pay for his border wall.

So at a time when we're experiencing one of the worst natural disasters, one of the biggest

humanitarian crises in the United States, the Republicans actually want to cut the funding

for the agencies that respond to these disasters and help to rebuild.

That's the Republicans' plan.

Now I know we've talked about Donald Trump's heartless and lack of empathy in his response

to the victims of Hurricane Harvey, but this Republican proposal here is downright mean.

It's not just a lack of empathy.

It's an attempt to further punish victims because that's what the Republican party does

best.

Oh your home got flooded because of a hurricane?

Well it's either one because you were some kind of sinner and God was punishing you,

or two it's because you are too stupid to get yourself out of there and we're not going

to pay for that.

If you're raped, it's probably your fault too according to the Republicans.

If you're poor, that's your fault because you're just lazy.

If you're hungry, it's your fault because you don't have a good enough job.

Everything in the eyes of a Republican is somebody else's fault.

It's not the fault of the system they created.

Hurricane Harvey certainly isn't the fault of the fact that that entire party denies

the existence of climate change as part of their national policy.

It's because those people just didn't move out of the way when the water got there.

Maybe you should have owned a boat and we wouldn't have to spend money on FEMA to help

you rebuild.

This is one of the most disgusting policy proposals from the Republicans we've seen

in recent times; probably even more disgusting than their horrible health care proposal from

earlier this summer because we're currently going through a humanitarian natural disaster

in the United States.

Furthermore the fact that they actually want to give Donald Trump the money to pay for

his border wall shows just how callous they really are towards regards to any human being

on the planet.

That's right folks.

It doesn't just apply to people here in the United States.

Apparently the Republicans are willing to just hate anyone and everyone for any reason

at all.

That's why we want to keep them out of our country.

At this point, the only walls that we should be funding are better levees in cities along

the coast to prevent floods like this from happening in the future or to at least make

them less severe.

Those are the only kinds of walls we should be talking about.

To be considering cutting funding to save people's lives following natural disasters

so that Donald Trump can get his little pet project funded is absolutely deplorable, but

that is exactly what the Republican Party has become at this point.

They truly are a basket of deplorables.

Why Does Everyone Want to be Popular? - Duration: 4:06.

Hello, hello, hello, my friends.

Kaitlyn here and do you think it's important

to be popular in high school?

(upbeat electronic music)

So if you've watched pretty much any movie ever

that's geared toward teens,

you know that there are the popular mean kids

versus the unpopular, slightly awkward heroes.

Despite popular characters

generally being shown as not very good people,

the ultimate goal of many of these movies

and these kind of awkward, ungainly heroes

is to become popular.

Basically, if your popular then everyone likes you

and you are successful in school

but this is not reality.

Okay, Kaitlyn but what does it even mean to be popular?

We tend to think of being popular

as this kind of place of power

where everyone wants to be you, you have lots of friends,

everyone wants to date you.

Essentially, everyone likes you and the world is glorious.

Alright, but why do people even think this is important?

Because we put so much value on being liked.

We think it will shield us from pain and disappointment

and most importantly, bullying.

Okay, okay, I'm kinda seeing the appeal here

but like what actually makes people popular?

Magic.

In movies and books, people who are popular

are portrayed as standardly good looking,

they have lots of money

or maybe they are dating the right person

who is popular for their own reason

and that makes them popular

because they're dating that person

and I would say that the thing

that is not portrayed in movies as much

but is definitely true in the real world

is charisma or confidence.

Okay, okay, so how would I make me popular?

Well, you see, you can't.

Uh, excuse me?

So we have all these misconceptions about popularity

like that it makes life easier

and most of the time that's just your perception of it

and it's really all pretend.

Okay, well, what about how everyone wants to date you?

But do they actually like you

or is being with you just like a status boost for them?

Okay, okay, well, what about having lots of friends?

Again, it's an issue of status.

Do you actually like them?

Do they even like you?

Basically, everybody in school

is just trying to get by as much as you are

and they are all looking for validation.

It is much better to have one friend

who actually cares about you and you care about them

than having 50 friends who could really care less about you

but they're there because you're popular,

they're popular and you're supposed to be friends.

Also, you're gonna be infinitely more happy

if you date someone because you actually like them

and it's not because you're concerned

about how popular or unpopular they're going to make you.

A good encouraging story from my own life for you

is that I felt like I was very unpopular in high school

but it wasn't until post high school

when I found out that I was kind of popular in my own way,

not in the traditional sense

but that I was very true to myself

and people remembered and respected that.

Now, it did take me graduating high school and coming back

and seeing people who I didn't think even knew my name

and suddenly they were saying hi to me in the grocery store

and I was like, what is happening?

Essentially, high school, middle school,

even elementary school is just a big time of BS

and you know what, who cares who's popular?

It seems like it's really important now

but actually it's not.

Basically, be who you are and make friends with who you want

and you will find that people will like you for that.

So guys, what are your questions about popularity

and making friends?

Be sure to ask me down in the comments

plus remember to check me out

on some other social media sites.

Instagram is of course my favorite

coming out with me and my cat and my coloring projects.

(kiss) Haha!

I don't know why I did that.

I'm really weird today.

I hope this video gave you some hope and made you smile

and I will see you guys on Thursday.

Bye.

(kiss) (giggle)

How to Sign: Want You Gone - Duration: 9:31.

Hey, guys. My name is Sarah.

And today I'm going to teach you how I PSE signed

"Want You Gone" from the video game called Portal.

Let's start.

Remember that the screen might be flipped.

This is my right hand, and this is my left hand.

Learn the signs accordingly to what your dominant hand is.

I'm right handed, so whatever I sign on my right hand

Should be what you sign on your dominant hand.

It starts off with the first verse, which is

"Well here we are again."

So I said, "We--" and "We" is a "K" hand. Like, "you and me."

"We're here again."

"It's always such a pleasure--"

I just said, "It's always--" which is this (demonstrates)

"It's always nice to see you."

"Remember when you tried to kill me twice?"

I said, "Remember you tried--"

I've seen two versions of "Try."

An "A" hand like this

Or "T" hands.

I prefer "T" hands. There's no reason for it.

"To kill--"

And, "Kill--," The best way I can describe it is

Your finger is a knife and this is a body

And you're stabbing someone and twisting the knife in.

Not a nice description, but that's what the sign is trying to show.

"Kill me twice."

And the sign I've seen for "twice" is a "K" hand against a flat hand and up like this.

"Twice."

And since GLaDOS was talking about how this was something that happened in the past

I did the sign for "before"

So I said, "Remember you tried to kill me twice before."

"Oh, how we laughed and laughed--"

I said, "We laughed--" And I repeated the sign for "laugh" a lot.

"Laughed."

"Except--" I said, "But I was not laughing."

"Under the circumstances, I've been shockingly nice--"

I didn't directly translate this.

I did my own interpretation of it

Because I couldn't really figure out how to sign it correctly.

So I said, "I'm thinking about this."

I was trying to show that I'm thinking about it.

"Thinking about-- I'm thinking about this."

"I've been shockingly nice."

I said, "Why--" Which is--

I've seen two versions of "Why"

You could have it come off and close into a "Y" hand

Or you can have your middle finger going like this.

"Why have I been nice to you?

And since that is an extended answer question, I had my eyebrows furrowed.

So instead of "Under the circumstances, I've been shockingly nice,"

I said, "I'm thinking about this. Why am I nice to you?"

If you have another way you want to sign this, go right ahead.

"You want your freedom--" I said "You want to become--"

And "become" is like this.

"Free." And the sign I've seen for "Free" is two "F" hands crosing each other.

"Free." And since that is a yes or no question

Like, "Do you want to be free?"

I have my eyebrows raised

Because you have your eyebrows raised if it's a yes or no question

Meaning it can be answered with "yes" or "no"

And you have them furrowed when it's an extended answer question

"So you want your freedom--"

"Take it--" I said, "Go on."

Like, "You want to become free?"

"Go on."

I've seen this before.

For, like, "Go on," "Do it," "Whatever."

Um, so, "You want to become free? Go on."

"That's what I'm counting on--" I said, "That's what I want to happen."

"I used to want you dead--"

I said, "I wanted you dead--"

And "dead" is, like, (demonstrates)

It's supposed to convey rolling over and dying.

It's not nice, but that's what it's trying to convey.

"Dead before--"

So, "I wanted you dead in the past."

"But now--"

And by the way, "now" is closing into "Y" hands.

"Now I only--"

"Only," You start with a "D" hand like this

And turn it around like this.

"Only want you gone."

And then it moves on to the second verse, which is

"She--" so I said, "Girl" and I pointed over there, so, "The girl is over there."

"She was like you"

And "like" is a "Y" hand like this.

"Maybe not quite as heavy--"

I just said, "Fat"

And the sign I've seen for "fat" is (demonstrates)

Like that.

*inaudible*

"Quite as heavy,"

So I said, "Maybe not fat like you."

Okay...

"Now little--"

I don't think she meant "Little Caroline" is literally little, like she's an inch tall.

I figured "little Caroline" means "Young Caroline."

So I did the sign for "Young."

Which is this (Demonstrates)

It's this hand formation reaching up like this.

"Caroline." And I fingerspelled that.

"Is in here, too--" I just said, "Is here."

"Too."

"One day-- one day."

"They woke me up--"

So I said, "Wake-up me."

"So I could live forever."

I said, "So I can live--"

I did this.

This sign here.

"Live forever."

"It's such a shame the same will never happen to you--"

I said, "It's a shame the same thing will never happen to you."

And then it moves on to the next build-up, which is

"You have your short--" I said, "Little sad life--"

And the sign I did for "life--" You can either do this or this. The same goes for when you sign "live."

But I did this.

So, "Life."

"Leftover," I just (demonstrates) "That's it."

And then I said "That's what I want to happen."

You know, like "I want you to have you--"

You know, like I did before.

"I'll let you get right to it--"

I said, "I'll let--"

"Allow"

I don't really know how to describe that.

"I'll let you get right to it--" I said, "Start--"

Which is this hand formation with your finger here and twist it.

"I'll let you start fast."

"Now I only want you gone."

And then it moves on to the third verse, which is

"Goodbye--"

I said, "Good bye."

You can just say "Bye," or whatever.

I said, "Goodbye."

"My only friend."

"Oh, did you think I meant you?"

And since that is a "Yes or no" question

You have you eyebrows furrowed--

Eyebrows up, sorry.

"That would be funny if it weren't--" I said, "Not"

"So sad."

Uh, "You have been replaced."

"You have been replaced--"

It's an "F" hands changing places with the other one.

"You have this. Have this instead."

So, "Replace."

It replaces the position.

"Replace."

"I don't need--"

And "Need" is an "X" hand going down once.

If you do it twice, it means "Should."

Once is "need."

"Need any--"

And "Any" is an "A" hand like this.

"One--" So "Any one now."

"When--" And "When" is rotating around your finger and landing on it.

"When I delete--"

And "delete--" The sign I've seen for "delete" is your left hand is like this

And you have an "X" with your right hand and you flick it like this.

"When I delete you maybe--"

It's like weighing options.

"Maybe I'll stop feeling--"

And "feeling" is your middle finger dragging up your chest.

"Feeling so sad."

And then, because...

If you played the original video game, in the credits they have the lyrics to the song.

And when it came time that GLaDOS says, "when I delete you maybe I'll stop feeling so sad."

It said those lines were redacted.

It said those lines were redacted, so, like...

GLaDOS was pretending she never said it.

So she didn't mean to say it.

So I did this.

Like, "I shouldn't have said that."

Or... something... (laughs)

Then it's on to the third and final build-up/chorus.

And it's "Go make some new disaster."

I did the sign for "go on"

"Go on, make--" I said, "Cause--"

"Cause a new disaster."

"That's what I'm counting on--"

I said, "I don't care."

I know it's a different meaning--

So, "Go on and cause a new disaster, I don't care."

And "Don't care" is like this.

That's just what I chose to do.

"You're someone else's problem--"

Two bent "V" hands like this.

"Now I only want you gone."

And then a repeat of that.

And then that's the end of the song, so...

I hope you enjoyed

And I hope you learned something.

And I will see you again next time.

Bye!

(Peace)

Liverpool transfer news: Liverpool still want Southampton's Virgil van Djik

Liverpool are 'still on track' to complete more major signings this summer.

The Reds have today confirmed their £40m capture of Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. Jurgen Klopp is still actively looking to bolster his ranks further and is keen to add another defender and attacker.

Southampton's Virgil van Djik and Monaco's Thomas Lemar remain Liverpool's top targets for the remaining few hours of the transfer window. Bookmakers BetStars claim Klopp and co could still splash the cash further before tonight's deadline.

BetStars Director of Trading Ian Marmion said: "As the transfer window draws to a close, Liverpool are still on track to add a few more big names to their squad to supplement the signing of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

"Southampton's Virgil van Djik has been the subject of intense interest from a number of Premier League clubs throughout the summer window but still remains a top defensive target for the Reds.

"The Dutch defender is priced at 5/4 to become the latest Saints star to make the switch to Merseyside.

"The Anfield hierarchy are also continuing their pursuit of Monaco's Thomas Lemar who is priced at 6/5 to be a Liverpool player by the end of the day.".

Liverpool still want Southampton's Virgil van Djik. Meanwhile, BetStars also believe Phillipe Coutinho is set to leave Liverpool and finally complete his switch to Barcelona.

Marmion added: "After weeks of speculation, Phillipe Coutinho's long-awaited move to the Nou Camp is looking increasingly likely and the midfielder is now odds-on at 5/6 to complete a switch to the Catalan giants.

"Barcelona have remained persistent in their pursuit of the 25-year-old and are expected to come back with a revised bid for the Brazilian playmaker in a last ditch attempt to force through a move.

"The confirmed signing of Oxlade-Chamberlain at Anfield could be the catalyst that changes Jurgen Klopp's stance and paves the way for the Brazil international's record-breaking move to his dream club." BetStars Director of Trading Ian Marmion said: "As the transfer window draws to a close, Liverpool are still on track to add a few more big names to their squad to supplement the signing of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

"Southampton's Virgil van Djik has been the subject of intense interest from a number of Premier League clubs throughout the summer window but still remains a top defensive target for the Reds.

"The Dutch defender is priced at 5/4 to become the latest Saints star to make the switch to Merseyside.

"The Anfield hierarchy are also continuing their pursuit of Monaco's Thomas Lemar who is priced at 6/5 to be a Liverpool player by the end of the day." Liverpool still want Southampton's Virgil van Djik Meanwhile, BetStars also believe Phillipe Coutinho is set to leave Liverpool and finally complete his switch to Barcelona.

"The confirmed signing of Oxlade-Chamberlain at Anfield could be the catalyst that changes Jurgen Klopp's stance and paves the way for the Brazil international's record-breaking move to his dream club.".

Liverpool transfer news: Liverpool want to sign Virgil van Dijk from Southampton

The Dutch centre-back, 26, is desperate to move to Anfield but his transfer was blocked in June when the Saints threatened to report Liverpool for their alleged conduct. Liverpool subsequently retracted their interest but theyve continued to watch the situation closely.

The Evening Standard say Liverpool are cautiously optimistic a deal could be done today with a fee in the region of £70million mooted. Liverpool would have to pay wages in excess of £100,000 per week to get their man.

Van Dijk is regarded as one of the Prems best defenders and he attracted interest from Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City too. But Liverpool are his first choice and its said hes attracted by the style of football played under Jurgen Klopp.

Van Dijk has warned he may not be an immediate success at Liverpool by former Liverpool defender and pundit Steve Nicol. "I can't turn round and say yes he's going to do great," Nicol said on ESPN FC.

"But the fact is, the chances of being better than what Liverpool have are pretty high.

"They really are struggling big time. All we can do is look at his short spell of time he's had in the Premier League and he's been fantastic.

"I was surprised with how good he's been and he's better than what we've got. "Some people can't handle playing at a big club.

"Hopefully Van Dijk can handle it and show us what he's been showing in the time he's been in the Premier League.

"Even if they do get him, it will take him some time to get up to speed because he's not kicked a ball.

Van Dijk joined Southampton from Celtic in 2015 but has not played since January due to a serious ankle injury.
