If you want to increase your weighted pull ups and you don't know the correct breathing
technique to start - let me show you this trick.
This will improve your weighted pull up by about 5% to 10% - promised!
So when you go to the bar, breathe in and really suck - focus on sucking your stomach
in while you hang.
And then you embrace your abs while you're breathing out.
So: [exhales]
And then you breathe in and pull, okay?
So a lot of people do the mistake, they just go to the pull up bar, do this [inhales] and
then pull.
But by doing the stomach suck in first and then embracing your abs while breathing out
you have a lot more internal thoracic and abdominal pressure and you will have it a
lot easier to really focus on getting the tension in your core.
So again: go to the bar, [inhales], [exhales], [inhales shortly] and then initiate the pull.
Let me show you on the bar.
You go to the bar, hang, [inhales], [exhales], tension your core while breathing out - breathe in
while holding the tension- [inhales shortly] - and pull.
I hope this little trick will improve your pull up.
It did with mine and a lot of my friends that i work out with.
