Watch: Breathtaking video from Go Pro that had VANISHED at the edge of space
A group of friends launched a high-altitude near-space balloon a few miles from Tuba City,
Arizona. The amazing footage of the Grand Canyon area was LOST, then found two years
later by an Arizona hiker. Spoiler: It is the most incredible video from the Grand Canyon
as seen from Space.
Weather Balloons plus Go Pro Cameras equal breathtaking video footage.
A Practice that has become ever more popular, attaching high-definition cameras to weather
balloons and sending them to the �edge of space� is something totally cool.
This happened a while back when students from the Stanford University decided to attach
a camera to a weather balloon and send it into space.
The plan was this: the weather balloon was supposed to float around 19 miles above Earth
before parachuting back safely. In order to find the weather balloon once it landed, the
students attached a cell phone programmed to broadcast a signal once it landed on Earth.
Students were thinking on suing the signal to find the camera and check out the amazing
footage their camera had captured.
However, after parachuting back to Earth, ET never phoned home, which led the students
to believe they had programmed the phone incorrectly or perhaps miscalculated the balloon�s trajectory.
For the students, their program was lost, and they had forgotten about their super-cool
project that didn�t go through successfully.
However, a few years later, a hiker found the phone and camera which had parachuted
back to Earth and tracked back the owners using the memory card.
To the surprise of everyone, the footage was INTACT.
It turned out that the phone wasn�t destroyed but did not manage to get a signal, as it
landed in a remote part of the desert where�to the surprise of many�there wasn�t coverage.
Hey, I can�t get coverage in my bathroom. :/
So, what was believed to have been a failed mission turned out to be a breathtaking video
footage of the Grand Canyon as seen from space.
I�ve never seen a more beautiful view from the Grand Canyon than this one.
The wait was really worth it and the video and images that the camera obtained are first
class.
In fact, I�m so excited that I want to grab myself a Go Pro camera and weather balloon
and try to film something too.
Weather Balloons are specifically designed to make it through high-altitude conditions,
floating above Earth.
Here�s a view from an altitude of around 7 miles:
The weather balloon needed around 90 minutes to reach ts highest point�around 18 miles
when the balloon exploded as seen here:
After falling for around thirty minutes, the Go Pro camera and the Mobile phone which was
not destroyed, landed in a remote area, where they remained for two years until they were
eventually found.

5. I Narrowboat to Stratford-upon-Avon see William Shakespeare's birthplace & go down the River Avon - Duration: 5:17.
Heading south on the Stratford On Avon
Canal, Molly and I were once again
enjoying the scenery.
North of Wilmcote between bridges 54
and 55, is an example of how farmers are
diversifying. Hill Farm is in its final
stages of a new 50 birth marina and it's
due to open later this year. Out of the
blue I started cross Edstone Aqueduct.
At a hundred and forty-five meters in
length, it's the longest aqueduct in
England. Unlike many others, its towpath
is level with the bottom of the water,
rather than its top. It was completed in
1816 and then restored in 2003.
As the summer kicks in, the canal was bursting
with wildlife. A family of Moorhens go
for an afternoon stroll. And then at a
lock entrance, some baby ducklings eat
their breakfast.
North of Stratford-upon-Avon
is the Wilmcote flight of locks, in
groups of three, five and then three.
Halfway down, I was in luck, as I had
help from a Canal & River Trust
volunteer.
In a contrast from the quiet countryside,
the basin in the center of
Stratford-upon-Avon is packed with
thousands of tourists and entertainment.
I found a spot to moor up and purchased
a 7-day license from the Avon Navigation
Trust. Their boat is located in the basin.
The license was £50.00 for the week
and was due to start two days later.
Stratford-upon-Avon is a major tourist
location in the UK. Steeped in culture
and history, it's the birthplace of
William Shakespeare and is home to the
Royal Shakespeare Theatre. To be honest I
was a little nervous about going on the
River Avon. I'd heard all about it's
dangers and my Nicholson map was
littered with red navigation warnings.
Luckily though, I purchased The River
Avon Navigation & Visitor Guide. It
proved very useful. From mooring
information to navigating all the weirs
and locks. There were details about where
to position the boat and where to expect
currents. It was a lot more detailed than
any other map I'd seen and it felt like
it was written by local people, who used
the river frequently. I buddied up with
Narrowboat Morpheus, along with Annie
and Robin to travel down the river to
Evesham. If the basin is full there's
lots more mooring space on the river
opposite the RSC Theatre. As there'd been
very little rain, the river was extremely
calm. The weir's were relatively lifeless
and I noticed everything was very well
signposted, even if some had issues with
spelling! The river winds south past the
outskirts of Stratford with well
manicured gardens, leading down to its
edge. All the lock gates are metal and
are operated using a normal windlass. The
locks all have good landing stages,
before and after. The houses seem to get
larger and more grand as we went past
Weston-On-Avon. As well as the navigation
guidebook, all the bridges had good
signage, indicating what arch you should
and should not use. The long mooring
poles sticking out of the water at
Welford-On-Avon, indicated how much the
river levels can rise. So pleased it was
nice and low today. Most of the locks
have overnight mooring spots too. These
are all indicated with blue painted
posts. Whilst we waited for some boats to
rise in the lock ahead, Molly showed me
her new trick. {Yeah, good girl, good girl} And
had a mad Labrador moment.
We mixed it up a bit out of this lock. I went first.
Once again the calm Avon was set in
beautiful countryside.
Holiday parks lined the river's edge, as
we entered Evesham, where we were two moor
up for the night. Next time I leave
without Narrowboat Morpheus, heading south
on my own. The days got hotter, and Molly had her
first ever River swim. Don't forget to

0011 Excel Shortcuts: How to Go To any Cell and Use Special Cells - Duration: 3:30.
Has your boss ever asked you to change the formulas to gray font and the numbers
to blue font? Well, in this video, I'm going to teach you how to do this
in a few seconds instead of a few hours.
♪ [music] ♪
This shortcut has two components. The first is going to a very specific spot on
your sheet if you know exactly where you want to go. For example,
if I want to go to a very, very low point, a high row number, but I don't want to have to
scroll, I would just do CTRL+G, and I would Go To, for example,
A9999, and I can just hit Enter and I go immediately to that spot without any
scrolling whatsoever. So, that's a really simple way to move really quickly in a
very targeted way, but the real, real power of this is to use the Go To with the
Special option, all right? So, when you hit Special, you're going to choose
a very special kind of cell, and I recommend you go
through each one of these in more detail, but for now, let's just look at,
for example, a constant, and we can choose Only Numbers, Only Text,
Only Logical, Only Errors, for example. Let's choose Only Text.
It will scan through this entire sheet, and it will highlight,
even if they're not next to each other, all the cells that match that criteria,
which means in one move now, I can make them all bold, or all italic, or anything.
So, this is a very powerful way to do massive edits without having to
search for it. One nuance here is that you can actually choose
the whole selection that you want first, and then it will match that
criteria only within it. So, I'll hit the Special with the ALT+S now
to jump right to it, and I'll go ahead and choose the
ALT plus the letter to actually correspond to the underline here. So, I want
a Constant, so it's ALT+O, and I'm going to uncheck the other ones that I
don't want, so ALT+U, ALT+G, and ALT+E to leave only the text.
Hit Enter, and now only these cells are selected, because I started first with
that selection. If you choose nothing, it'll go and look for the whole sheet as
one. I've created a series of exercises for you to practice and reinforce these
Excel shortcuts. So, for example, you're going to go to this worksheet
over here and move the X's by CTRL+X on the PC, command X on the Mac,
and then go to this exact reference by hitting CTRL+G, and GO35.
It will jump to that spot, and you'll know you're in the right place because I put
a little arrow for you. And CTRL+V on the PC or command V on the
Mac, and then you can actually keep going back and doing that for all of these.
The next exercise is to go to Special Cells. This one's more involved,
but you can totally get the hang of this as soon as you start going.
So, make this side over here on the left match the format on the right in this very
specific way, and if you want little hints, the legend here explains
how it all works. So, anything that's a text, right? You're going to select
this whole area here, you're going to do your CTRL+G,
and then your ALT+S on the PC to choose only the
text. You're going to turn off anything that's not relevant, and then you're going
to apply the italics and the bold, and notice how it makes it match.
So, do that for all of these and make the two images match. Don't forget to visit

How has Overwatch League incorporated the successful aspects of Riot, Valve, and the
NBA?
Well you know a lot of the stuff with Overwatch League is still kind of being nailed down
and all that.
So I can't say a ton about it obviously yet.
But I think what Overwatch League will hopefully do is incorporate the support for teams that
Riot showed initially with the LCS.
Because I mean when the LCS first came out ,it was a great thing right.
I mean the support that teams got was was like nothing that had really been seen before
in a big esports league like that.
So you know credit to Riot Games.
I think they did a great job when when things started out with with LCS, and while you know
obviously things in my opinion haven't gone as great since then it really was a great
start.
And I think it really was a good educating moment for a lot of other organizations that
wanted to be as big into esports Valve, honestly I'm not as familiar with with everything that
they've done.
You know I watched the International from time to time, and I have mixed thoughts about
the compendium.
I think it's great to get these players you know more money.
I think that's awesome.
At the same time, I don't know if it's wise to rely on the benevolence of the community
for your prize pool.
I feel like that's something that can go well for a while and then is really going to kind
of like come back to bite you later on.
I hope it never does for them.
I hope it always goes well.
But I have mixed feelings about that.
I think what Blizzard can take from CS:GO is the importance of having regular international
tournaments like one-offs and things like that.
And so that because you want to have...
Ongoing leagues are great but you also need to give these players downtime too right.
Which is something that I think Riot is kind of missing the boat on right now is that these
guys have like--it's like Spring split, into MSI, into Summer split, into Worlds, into
All-Stars, and like I know some of these players, and they just never get a break.
Like SKT, because they win everything.
You know good for them.
But that means also that they never really get a break.
And that's I don't think anyone should really have to live like that.
I think it's important to...
I think it's important for the quality of the games too that people are able to step
back from it and take some time off if they want to.
And if a team wants to be like "Yeah we're just not going to play this next event."
Then they can skip an international event or something like that.
So ideally a mix would be nice, where you can take a little bit of everything.
Because maybe one side goes too far into only one-off events and one side goes too far into
everything else.
So that's I guess we'll see what happens.
But that would be nice to have more balance in the scene.
What about pulling franchising system from NBA which so many people have said or begged
for from Riot or Valve, or other games.
Well I think this is a real evolution moment for esports where esports is an interesting
thing in that nobody owns the game of football, and nobody owns the game of baseball right?
So the entities that are involved in traditional sports are fundamentally different than esports
and it seems like in Overwatch League.
We will hopefully have a healthy balance of people in control.I would love to see fairly
equal input and influence from the developer because they made the game, from the broadcasters
because they're the ones making the game consumable as a product, and the teams because they're
the ones providing the players and the infrastructure to support those players.
So all three of those entities have very important vested interests in making Overwatch work.
None of them I think should have too much power right.
So everyone kind of needs to have a bit of say, so from what we've heard it sounds like
to me a Blizzard is going in the right direction where they want to involve the teams more
and they want to give them a bit more leeway I suppose.
And on the broadcasting side of things too that'll be nice as well because you do have
conflicts sometimes.
Like in Korea between what OGN has as a vision for their broadcast compared to what Riot
Games or Blizzard or Super Evil MegaCorp or whatever developer's game they're using has
for their product too.
And so if everyone can--this is like a very eutopic kind of idea I'm thinking of.
But if everyone can kind of work together and sit down, I think that'll make the best
product.
And in my mind Overwatch is the thing that's moving the most in that direction right now.

Lauren Goodger has been criticised for moaning about her holiday options - just hours after posting a set of paparazzi pictures of her in a bikini online.
The reality star tweeted that she was forced to stay out of the public eye because of the photographers,
who she's adamant make her look up to four times larger than her actual size.
Lauren sighed: "Ain't it sad that I don't want to go to marbs or Ibiza because of the paps and what they do to me .. if they didn't I'd be out a lot more."
Understandably, many of her followers were riled up by her first world woes,

Lauren seemed to look very happy in the not at all posed pictures from a recent holiday in Dubai, in which she was clearly caught unawares.
Wearing a black bikini, Lauren leant on various structures to fully show off her bum, using a hand rail and a wall to make sure everyone could see her rear end.
Lauren - whose boyfriend Joey Morrison is serving time in prison - contorted herself into various poses and at one point was photographed tying her hair up into a giant bun.
On Friday, Lauren posted a video of her on holiday showing her 'real' body , ranting once again about how the paps make her look fat.

CS:GO - HOW TO GET THE DIAMOND COIN - Duration: 2:52.
Hey guys, salut mes amis och hallå gubbar, Maxim here.
With the new Operation you get a coin, in this video I'll show you how to upgrade the
Hydra Coin.
So first of all, you have the Bronze Coin, the Silver Coin, the Gold Coin and the new
Diamond Coin (which hasn't been in any previous operation).
You get Bronze when you buy the Operation.
To unlock the other coins you need these Stars.
For Silver it's 5 Stars, for Gold it's 18 Stars and for Diamond it's 25 Stars.
So, how do you get Stars?
The first way is by playing all the Guardian Missions.
If you play all the Guardian Missions you will get (in total) 7 Stars.
These are the only Guardian Missions you will get, but you can complete them whenever you
want as long as the Operation is still active.
The second way of getting Stars is by playing Hydra Events.
What are Hydra Events?
Each week, one of three events are chosen by Valve: Wingman, Weapons Expert, and War Games.
This week it's War Games as you can see here.
The first event unlocks 2000 Event XP that you can collect, next event will increase
the pool to 4000, next event 6000, next event 8000, and this keeps going on all the way
up to 36000.
So in total we will get 18 events.
Each time you get 2000 Event XP you get a Star, so that's 18 Stars.
Please note that this has nothing to do with your Profile Rank and playing Matchmaking
for example will not give you Event XP, you can only get event XP by playing Hydra Events. And you do that by clicking here.
It took me about 45 minutes to get 2000 Event XP so it's very
easy to reach that goal.
So, if you want the Diamond coin which is 25 Stars you would need to collect 36000 Event
XP which will give you 18 Stars and complete all the guardian missions which will give
you 7 Stars.
18 Stars plus the 7 Stars you get from Guardian Missions is 25 Stars.
This also means that the last Star you will ever get from this Operation is in September.
So basically, to upgrade the Hydra Coin, complete the Hydra Events for each week and finish
all the guardian missions.

Trainees Go Above And Beyond With Performances For Position-Based Challenge
With their first elimination behind them, the trainees of Mnets Produce 101 Season 2 kicked it up another notch this week with their position-based challenge.
Just like last season, trainees, according to their ranks, had to choose the song they wish to perform in one of three categories, vocal, dance, and rap.
The benefits of coming out on top include an extra 10,000 points added to their score. In addition, the top contender in each of these categories, would receive another 100,000 points. Soompi. Display. News. English. 300x250. Mobile. English. 300x250. ATF.
First up on stage was four vocalists covering Jung Seung Hwans If It Is You. Led by trainee Joo Jin Woo and with Kim Sung Ri as the center, the group had earned high praises from their vocal trainer Lee Suk Hoon, especially Kim Yong Guk.
Their performance didnt disappoint as well, and Kim Yong Guk marked first place amongst these four. Next up was a dance team, with Hong Eun Ki as their leader and Yeo Hwan Woong as the center.
While there was tension between the leader and Joo Hak Nyeon, who had also requested the center position, one heartfelt conversation later and the team managed to pull it together to finally earn the praise of their trainers during practice.
During their actual performance, they successfully pulled off and performed an energetic choreography to Flo Ridas Right Round. In the end, Joo Hak Nyeon came out on top in first place in this group.
The next group took on a rap challenge, as they performed Zicos Boys & Girls. Despite this being his very first time to rap, Kim Dong Bin managed to successfully pull off his part with the continued help of teammate Im Young Min, who never gave up on him.
While there was an unfortunate mistake, the overall atmosphere was positive as they showed off their skills. Team center Im Young Min teared up when it was announced he was first in his group.
As both the center and the leader, Noh Tae Hyun helped his group shine as they performed an amazing self-made choreography to Ed Sheerans popular hit, Shape of You. Not only did their trainers highly laud their performance and say it was so cool, the audience loved it so much they called for an encore.
Noh Tae Hyun placed first, with many saying it was well-deserved.
The next emotionally-charged performance took on the popular hit track, Song Minos Fear from his time on Show Me the Money. With their self-written lyrics, trainees Lai Guan Lin, Kim Jong Hyun, Jang Moon Bok, and Kim Tae Min touched the audience not only with their passion, but also their evident improvement.
In the end, Kim Jong Hyun placed first amongst his teammates.
The last performance of the episode featured a vocal cover of BLACKPINKs Playing With Fire. This team also encountered many obstacles during preparations, but it ended up paying off with their unique cover of the girl groups hit.
Kang Dong Ho took center stage, while Jung Se Woon was decided upon as the leader. In the end, Jung Se Woon came out on top, an unexpected but well-received surprise.
While their performance will be shown next week, the next group has already been deemed as the Avengers team of the season.
Based on last weeks rankings, first place Park Ji Hoon, second place Kim Samuel, fourth place Ong Sung Woo, fifth place Kang Daniel, sixth place Ahn Hyung Sub, and twenty-fourth place Park Woo Jin all decided to join the Get Ugly team.
