WHICH ANIME CHARACTERS ARE WE? - Duration: 7:18.

Hey guys, so I am here with Shawna, aka -- Nanalew! Nanalew!

And we've been friends for about 10 years, and

interesting fact:

it feels longer

it feels longer, why are we even here together?

No, uh, Shawna got me into anime!

It was her fault!

I can't handle that, like --

You threw me in the pit!

It was just today that I got confirmation of that, I was like

I'm gonna ask Phil if like, I was integral in his origin story!

She was!

And I was!

So thanks for that, you can thank her for these anime videos

Which anime character are you? Who's the one you already relate to?

The ones that I like are always the really tragic ones, like

sad and broody ones that have gone through everything and

everyone they love is dead -- wow!

Like, really, am I that person? No

But you want to have all the feels inside you -- yes, yes!

I think I'm the titan that trips over everything and smacks into a wall, do you know that one that's like really weird

*jazzy music*

That's me.

You know the titans that are like really small and you're like "okay pal"

move over for the big *honk*

how did that happen? are you a titan or are you just like a, a teetan?

we're both gonna do this at the same time, umm, which is not how you're meant to do this

are we just gonna collectively be a..

I've got two tabs open, so we can both answer the question.

I'm impressed, Phil, you are prepared. P: Thank you.

LETS PLay

S: there's gifs, guys, there's gifs. P: there's gifs

what kind of person are you?

S: I guess, out of these choices, would probably choose emotional at this state in my life

P: emotional, you're emotional right now because youre making a video with me. S: yeah

I think I'm...

Stalker

I'm gonna go with excited. I think as a person I'm quite excited about things.

last night i was ordering food, and the waitress said *valley girl accent* "you're so excited about lobster!"

I was like, "am I?" S: you're like AMERICA FREEDOM P: "why are you so excited about your lobster"

i was like, 'cause im hungry, maybe, i dunno.

but seriously, last night, i ordered three pieces of cake. i was like can i get the cake sampler,

and by cake sampler i mean every piece of cake you have.

that's the best way to do it! S: i know!

what is your preferred fighting style?

i mean , i want this one, just like, S: naruto gif P: foot to neck

Krav Maga, I don't know what that is.

Krav maga (the correct way)

Krav, oh, you know what it is. S: yeah. P: look at- listen to me with my krav maga (incorrect way)

I'm gonna go with street fighting, because that can encompass a whole ton of stuff.

do you have a secret past of street fighting that we don't know about? S: i mean, i did do an action comedy where i play a bounty hunter

and i did HECKA beat somebody up. P: YOU DID!

Don't cross her on the street.

or actually, just cross the street if you see her.

right, i'm gonna go with... S: krav Maga *both laugh*

that might be just like.. throwing baby animals at people we don't know what it is

i'd like to say sword fighting? S: i think that's a great choice P: uh, so i'm going to say that that's my preferred style

what kind of best friend do you have?

S: good looking, but weak P: but WEAK

imagine if you said that about your best friend. good looking but WEAK.

uh, clumsy but nice. Do you have a friend in mind for this?

Do you have a friend? P:do you have a friend?

um, my friend Bree, I'm gonna go with good looking, but weak *both laugh*

P:good looking but weak. S: i think she'd be okay with that.

i wonder which anime character IS good looking but weak.

Let's... let's do Dan.

Both: STRONG, but kind.

he's secretly just as clumsy as me, even though he doesn't say, he blames me for about half of the incidents in our house.

y'know what, Dan, We're onto you.

he's clumsy, but nice.

you know what's really funny? P: yeah?

it gives me a really special feeling of satisfaction when i make dan laugh P: does it?

and i made him laugh, like, three times the other day P: WOW S:like, a GOOD laugh, like a solid dan laugh, P: like three snorts

and i was like that's the day everybody, i'm going to bed. *laughter*

right. what type of weapon do you prefer?

BARE FISTS S: ANYTHING AROUND YOU P: why- why is the water gun cute? oh, that might be squirtle.

um, i'm gonna go with anything around you.

I'm gonna also go with anything around you.

i feel like i could do serious damage with this pillow,i won't batter you with the pillow. S: I live by myself so i do keep knives around the house. i'm just saying.

okay. what could we kill someone with in this room? S: the lamps, usually are a decent choice. P: Shawna's boot?

my mind just went to a dark place

throw the tv at them P: just throw the TV at them. S: throw them off the balcony P: YES

what kind of power do you have?

i literally turn into a weapon.

P:WHAT. S: um, no.P: your nose just becomes a sword.

I'm gonna go with, umm, electricity.

i like the idea of having electricity power, so i could be like BZZZZ S: telekinesis is dope.

also i do have a final cut effect that goes BZZZZ, so i could do that now.

*sinister music*

when you kill how do you END THEM?

eat their souls. P: EAT THEIR SOULS. S: just walk away.

i would shove a sword through them.

WOW, shawna. S: well, you gotta end it quick. I'm not, like, unmerciful.

I'm gonna let them live, just eat their souls.

if you were killed, what would you do? P: that's a personality question, right there.

S: I DON'T DIE. *laughter*

i just- i just DON'T die. S: i literally live forever. P: yeah, umm. curl up in a ball and die.

i'm just gonna say no quote, i just take death. P: oh wow. that's strong. you're gonna get some kind of strong character now.

i probably shouldn't have answered that, that's false.

i- i'd like dramatic but epic. S:yeah, do that. P: that would be good. S: that's the one i should have picked.

i wanna die on the precipice of a volcano.

so shawna this is your last one, this is gonna give you your anime character. S: oh my goodness.

what kind of ending do you prefer? you said you'd like it- you want a dramatic life earlier. S: yeah, okay.

P: dramatic? S: yeah. i feel like dramatic and epic are the same thing, but you know what, we just won't,

here we go! Shawna's character is Kiritoooo!

that's a good one, Sword Art Online,

yeah, that's alright.

he kicks some butt. S: yeah, he's okay. he's a bit, generic, S: yeah, he's alright, *laughter*

i LOVE his costume, though. i have wanted to cosplay him.

you wanted to kill people with a sword. now you've got to.

S: that's what got me. P: yeah.

"you are heroic, kind, & brave! you are willing to save your friends and loved ones! you care for everyone..." P: what's the dot dot dot? S: dot dot dot.

it's like, you care for everyone... *cricket chirping*

what kind of ending do i prefer? I mean, i'd like a happy ending! i want like, an epic climax, S: and then you want like, everything to be wrapped up in a happy boat. P:yes. S: so happy.

happy.

here we go, guys.

who am i gonna be?

*quietly* yours is gonna be better.

PIKACHU?? *laughter*

I'M PIKACHU!

so you get like, badass, sword guy, and i'm just the electric mouse in the corner.

and he's looking like this,

he's like, look at my butt!

uh, "at first you don't trust or like anyone, but as time passes, you fight for the ones you love." i think that's true, in a way.

it takes me a while to warm to people,

S: "for example, i still don't like you, Shawna" P: yeah, i don't like you, Shawna, and it's been ten years.

um, no, i can be a bit shy at first, but then i come out of my shell.

we would be a funny little unlikely duo. P:what, Kirito and Pikachu? S: Pikachu, and, yeah. man, what a time.

pikAchu

i feel like we got to know ourselves a bit more S: yeah, i mean, that's words you said. P: yeah. *giggle*

we're gonna go watch like, eight hours of anime now,

but give this a thumbs up if you've enjoyed it, we actually went and made a video on Shawna's channel as well,

where we got DEEP about anime. we answered some of your questions, so if you wanna fall down a little deeper with us you can check out that video,

it's in the description below S: sorry if it's like eighty minutes long P: yeah, lets try and cut it down a bit *laughing*

and you can subscribe by clicking my button, Shawna's button is there you can click on that,

and i hope you're having a good day, don't attack people with swords, S: you look nice today. Good shirt P: And... great shirt. goooodBYE

Tesco makes UK's first delivery by ROBOT which could make hundreds redundant - Duration: 3:15.

Tesco makes UK's first delivery by ROBOT which could make hundreds redundant

Forget trucks and vans – Tesco will start delivering their groceries with a robot instead. After a successful trial, the supermarket managed to deliver a shopping order using a six-wheeled bot.

The genius machines – which are made by Starship Technologies – have also trialled deliveries with takeaway firm JustEat and parcel courier Hermes.

The 4mph battery-powered robots can carry items within a three-mile radius of stores or delivery hubs, while customers track the progress of their order by using a smartphone.

Each robot is equipped with GPS technology, nine cameras which help it map where it's going and sensors to help tackle navigation and traffic.

And the genius invention can also climb kerbs up to 20cm (8in) tall and it can work in all climates, including 20cm of snow.

The lid is locked while it is moving and a pin code is sent to the recipient when it reaches its destination so they can open it.

But that's not all – the robots also have speakers which means people can actually have a conversation with it. Cameras on the robot record continuously and can post any theft attempts straight to YouTube.

And if you're planning to jump on it to break in – it will trap your leg as earlier tests have found.

According to The Grocer magazine, Tesco was impressed by the trial and is considering a wider pilot later this year in London.

A Tesco spokesman said: "We are always looking at new ways to improve the shopping experience for our customers. "We carried out a one-off trial as part of our Tesco Now initiative partnership with a technology company.

"We learnt a great deal from this trial and we'll be reviewing feedback before deciding our next steps.".

If the technology is adopted by the supermarket, the robots could put hundreds of delivery drivers into redundancy. Starship Technologies said it aimed to have one operator per 100 robots, with operators only taking control remotely if there was a problem.

The Greenwich-based firm was launched in 2014 by Skype co-founders Ahti Heinla and Janus Friis makes its robots in Estonia. The brand has the slogan: "Anything you want, anything and anywhere.".

Which Sample Types Will Give You an Understanding of the Mold Species Thats In Your Home? Mold Firm - Duration: 4:46.

Carson Jeffries: Good morning, I'm Carson Jeffries with the Mold Firm and I'm here today

with long-time friend and owner of Air Allergen & Mold Testing.

Richard Johnson: My name is Richard Johnson and I'm the President/CEO of Air Allergen

& Mold Testing.

When we talk to a client on the phone when they call us, it is to understand what their

questions are and what their concerns are and then we will come up with a sampling strategy

to answer their questions.

And it would be at that point that we would decide whether or not just knowing what the

genus level name is, like aspergillus or penicillium, will be adequate or if they need to go more

deeply and learn about these species.

It is more expensive to do a species analysis than it is to do something to the genus level

in the analysis.

And cost is always a concern, that's a trade-off between what you're learning and the cost

of doing it.

We look at it as if we're painting a picture and every sample that we take adds a color,

adds a line, adds some detail that allows you to understand what the picture is.

So we have to understand what we're looking for to begin with and then we can design a

sampling strategy that we believe will give us enough information to make out what the

picture is without necessarily incurring the cost of making a Rembrandt or some very expensive

set of sampling.

Carson: So it sounds like when you do comprehensive testing, a combination both of air samples,

surface samples, carpet dust samples as well as development of those samples in your labs,

you develop a more comprehensive picture of not only the amount and types of spores but

also their health effects in their particular species.

Richard: Yes, that's absolutely correct.

We learned something from each of the pieces of information we do.

Another thing that we make a point of doing is in discussing the sampling strategy with

the client before we go there.

We try to learn as much as we can that they have, in terms of their experience and the

things that they know about, to help fill-in pieces of the puzzle to know what we're looking

for and to make sure that we're sampling in the areas that are important.

Carson: Yeah, and I know Richard from our end, we will occasionally be approached by

clients.

And maybe as you alluded to, we'll go with more limited sampling from maybe another environmental

company that is charging them, maybe half as much, and I tell those clients, unfortunately,

that when we're analyzing their case, the report either because it doesn't have any

written findings or because of the limited sampling just doesn't provide the information

necessary to move forward with the case.

And then what the client finds themselves in the situation of, unfortunately, is having

to get a mold report - the initial mold report - and then having to come to a company like

Air Allergen for more comprehensive report, so they end up paying twice in the end.

Richard: That's really true and that is always a struggle especially if people have incurred

a lot of medical bills or something and are financially strapped as a result of it.

The tendency would be too well, "Can I get by with just an air sampler?

Can I get by with a tape sampler?"

And we discourage that because what we have found, you can go into a home, we've been

fooled before ourselves, you know, even doing.

You go into a home, take an air sample, looks okay and then you take a carpet dust sample

and you find out that even though it was okay at the time that you took the air sample,

they've had a history of problems that have not shown up in the air sample.

So doing a more comprehensive inspection and taking enough samples to really understand

what's going on in the environment is very important.

Otherwise you're going to be making choices that you either might be doing less than what

you need to do or you might be doing more than what you need to do.

You could have a situation, for instance, where you had a spike in the some kind of

air samples for some reason or whatever but no history of it and making a decision wrong

in that direction.

Or, if someone doesn't take the samples in the right kind of samples and someone has

a health problem and you don't identify it, you could be making choices that could be

adverse to their interest there.

Which type of Liposuction is best for you? - Duration: 1:54.

The choice of using which laser, which tool to use for liposuction, depends on the patient.

And, that's where the experience of the surgeon comes in.

One, there are different kinds of fat that varies depending on the area.

There are some areas that have more fibrous fat.

There are some areas that have more softer fat, or loose, what we call loose fat.

All that stuff plays a role.

If you have a male and you're doing Gynecomastia, the fat in the chest or in the breast is very,

very fibrous.

Most guys are very fibrous anyway.

But this is a harder area to extract the fat from.

So the use of Vaser or Laser can be very helpful.

The other factor is whether the patient is light skinned or dark skinned.

If you use laser on a patient that is dark skinned, you may cause hyperpigmentation of

the skin because the laser itself can stimulate the melanocytes to secrete more melanin that

causes hyperpigmentation of the skin.

So if you're doing that in an area where they don't want hyperpigmentation, then obviously

that can be a problem.

So, and the same thing can sometimes apply for the Vaser.

And, what results are you trying to accomplish?

Are you doing the laser directly under the skin to get tightening?

Or are you doing it deep to melt some fat?

Or are you doing it in the middle layer?

So, everything is depending on that experience and the choice of the doctor.

Elium®, the resin which makes composites recyclable - Duration: 2:15.

Elium®, the resin which makes composites recyclable

Composite materials are everywhere.

In this car

in the hull of this boat

in this wind turbine blade.

And that's not surprising given all

the advantages that they offer

such as resistance

lightness

and durability.

The only downside is that it is difficult

to recycle composites

at the end of their life span.

A composite is the association of an understructure

often a fibre reinforcement

and a thermoplastic or thermoset matrix

which performs the binding action.

Today, the most frequently-used resins are thermoset

but they cannot be melted down or transformed.

To solve this problem Arkema has developed

a thermoplastic liquid resin called Elium®.

This innovative material adapts to the same

transformation techniques as thermoset resins

and above all makes it easier to recycle the composites.

There are two possible methods

mechanical recycling

and reactive recycling.

In the first process

the composite parts made with Elium® resin

are ground down to obtain granules.

When heated, these fragments can

then be used to make new materials

with excellent mechanical performances.

They can be used to make household appliances

or elements such as these.

In the reactive recycling process

once again the parts are ground down.

The resulting fragments are then heated at

high temperature to recover the constituents.

This chemical process of depolymerization

recovers the initial raw material

the monomer.

It can then be reinjected to make new composites.

The Elium® range contributes to a circular economy.

It offers a real alternative for manufacturers

who use composites and want to reduce waste

in this fast-growing market.

IRSA Tutorial: Which WISE Releases Are Which? - Duration: 9:45.

This movie is a brief overview of the contents of various WISE deliveries, so that you can

make the best choice for your science.

When you're searching in the WISE Image Service, or, for that matter, in the catalog search

tool, one of the things you have to pick is the "image set" or the delivery.

You also have to tell it what data product level you want, and what bands.

Well, the bands are pretty obvious; there are four WISE channels and there are four

bands shown there.

But what do these other options mean, and why do they matter?

Well, there are several different WISE releases.

And, really, the key to using them well (and to getting your best science done) is understanding

which release is which, and what contents there are in each release.

And, in order to make that seem less arbitrary, you need to understand a little bit about

WISE engineering and the timeline for WISE operations.

So WISE is a 40 cm telescope.

It's in a Sun-synchronous polar orbit.

That means that it can survey the entire sky in 6 months, and additional orbits mean additional

coverage.

There are four bands: 3.4, 4.6, 12, and 22 microns.

It had a solid hydrogen cryostat on board to keep the instruments and the telescope

cold enough to observe at all four bands.

When the cryo was depleted, the spacecraft warmed up.

So, we lost the 22 microns first, then the 12 microns.

Really, really clever engineering means that the spacecraft can passively cool sufficiently

to continue to observe at three and half and four and a half microns, even though the cryogen

is exhausted.

This is a representation of how WISE's sky coverage works.

So the middle is representative of the Earth, and each one of those is the sky coverage

on a particular individual orbit.

One orbit is a series of exposures.

The next orbit is a little bit offset.

And, in time, you build up substantial coverage.

You can see that at the ecliptic poles, that region of sky is covered on every orbit.

Things at the ecliptic plane are covered on a series of consecutive orbits, and then again,

6 months later, eventually fleshing out the entire sky coverage.

So the overall timeline is as follows.

It was launched in Dec 2009.

In Jan 2010, the survey was started.

By July 2010, the first pass on the full sky was completed.

In August 2010, we started to run out of cryogen, so that was the end of 4-band cryo, and the

start of 3-band.

In September 2010, we finished running out of cryogen, so that was the end of the 3-band

cryo, and was the start of 2-band cryo, which was christened "NEOWISE."

In February 2011, that was the official end of the post-cryo survey called NEOWISE, and

the spacecraft was put into hibernation.

In September 2013, the spacecraft was awoken from hibernation and oriented to allow it

to passively cool again.

By December 2013, it had cooled off enough to begin the second post-cryo survey, called

Reactivated NEOWISE, or NEOWISE-R. This is a graphical representation of that timeline.

So, here for in between 2010 and 2011, we had four bands operating for a little bit

more than 10 months.

All four bands were observed.

And the release that's called "WISE All-Sky" covers that time period when there were four

bands being operated.

Three-band cryo corresponds to the WISE 3-band cryo release, when there were only 3 bands

operating.

And the NEOWISE Post-Cryo, when there was only 2 bands, through Feb 2011, is that release.

The AllWISE release covers all of the data that was available as of this spacecraft being

put into hibernation.

This is somewhat confusing, because AllWISE is all of the data that were available *then*.

Subsequent to that, when NEOWISE was reactivated, there was a first release of data that covered

12 months of data, largely from 2014.

The second release was 2015.

And now the third release, the newest one, covers most of 2016.

So each of these years are combined together into a NEOWISE Reactivation delivery.

Here is a representation of the sky coverage.

So, this is 6 months, in which you can do the complete sky coverage.

That WISE All-Sky was 1.2 times the sky coverage.

Three-band cryo takes you out to 1.5x times.

That first epoch of observations covering the AllWISE release is 2.2 times over the

sky.

Each one of the subsequent year releases is 12 months of observing, or covering the sky

twice.

So when you're confronted with a choice of what data sets to pick, or image sets, what

you're really asking is what data releases do you want.

So if you are really keen on getting data released from the first 105 days, you can

still get to that, but unless you really know what you're doing, that data really have been

superseded by subsequent releases.

The All-Sky data is the four-band cryo release, and so it is all, but only, the 4-band data.

The 3-band cryo release is all of the 3-band data for about a month in 2010.

The 2-band post-cryo release is really the first NEOWISE post-cryo mission, so it's the

2-band taken from the end of 2010 through the beginning of 2011.

The AllWISE data is all of the WISE data prior to Feb 2011, when the spacecraft was put into

hibernation, all summed up.

If you study targets that do not move, targets whose position can be given by right ascension

and declination, no orbital parameters required, this is what you want.

You want the AllWISE release.

Now, this is the --the NEOWISE-R release is the newest release.

This is the reactivated NEOWISE.

So this is all the 2-band data from the reactivated mission, covering 2013 Dec through 2016 Dec

as of this latest release.

So there's the graphical representation again, so that you can see that All-Sky is four bands,

3-band cryo is 3 bands, the first NEOWISE post-cryo is 2 bands.

AllWISE is not, in fact, all of the WISE data, but is all of the WISE data prior to that

hibernation.

Then the reactivated NEOWISE cover all of the data taken since the reactivation.

So when you go to the WISE Image Service, now you understand what that means.

We understand what the bands are.

But, we still need to understand what 'Atlas' and 'single exposure' means.

So, remember the pattern of how the spacecraft observes.

It takes many individual exposures to build up coverage.

So the data products that you're getting are going to vary with the release.

So, you can have images that are summed up individual exposures.

Or, you can have the original individual exposures.

You can do photometry on those summed up images, or you can do photometry on those individual

exposures.

So, the AllSky release has all of those: summed up images, photometry on the summed up images,

individual exposures, and photometry from the exposures.

The 3-band cryo release also has the individual images and the photometry, as well as the

summed up images.

The first 2-band post-cryo release does not include atlas images, summed up images, or

photometry from those summed-up images.

It does have individual exposures, and it has photometry from those exposures.

The AllWISE release has summed-up images, and photometry from those summed-up images,

but it does not contain the individual exposures, because all of those data have already been

released as part of these other releases.

The Reactivated NEOWISE doesn't sum up the images, and doesn't do photometry on those

summed up images.

It includes the individual exposures and photometry on the individual exposures.

So, now we understand what all of those choices are.

Which one do *you* want?

Well, in the end, you do have to read the documentation, but probably, if you have targets

that do not move, you want AllWISE.

If you are getting strange results, strange photometry or strange things that you see

in the images, double-check with the All-Sky catalog.

If you study targets that move, you want any data release that includes the individual

exposures.

If your object was already known as of the release date of that individual data release,

it may very well be that they have already identified your target and tied the various

apparitions together.

So, if you look for the known moving object catalogs, you might be able to find your object

in there.

However, if you have a more recently discovered object, of course, they couldn't have known

at the time that they created those catalogs, so a more recently discovered object won't

be in there.

I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to go look at the WISE images, and to overlay

the catalogs in these tools.

You can interact with the individual images and you can overlay catalogs all within the

WISE Image Service, and it's *very* useful to do so.

Seasonal Allergies: Which Medication is Right for You? - Duration: 1:01.

When your seasonal allergies are driving you crazy, all you want is relief.

Here are the four types of medicine to consider.

Antihistamines are drugs that reduce or block the chemicals in our bodies that cause symptoms

like itchy eyes and sneezing.

Decongestants help relieve your stuffy nose.

Nasal corticosteroids can help reduce nasal inflammation.

And immunotherapy involves taking small amounts of the allergen that causes your symptoms.

Though usually injected, some immunotherapy meds (called sub-lingual) can be taken under

the tongue.

Whichever allergy medicine you choose, be sure to ask your healthcare provider for guidance;

and carefully follow the instructions on the label.
