So I read this question as comparing millennials to other generations and my first thought
was that no one group is better or worse at working from home.
There are so many other signs I rely on to let me know if someone can hack a long haul
as a remote employee that I don't even consider generational association as a plus or minus.
So I thought back over all the new hires I had a hand in over the last several years.
If I compare the obvious stereotypically millennial employees (assuming I can accurately tell
who those are) against the others, I did find a slight difference.
The Millennial hires more often than not, had the mindset and additional skills necessary
to be successful when working from home long-term.
It's not a scientific study and I am proof that non-millennial remote workers can also
be very successful from home over a long period of time.
So make of it what you will.
Why did they do slightly better?
I have theorized that it's the expectation of fluid connectivity via multiple channels.
More than any other generation before, millennials think nothing of working closely with people
for years, friending them on FB, following their feeds, chatting late into the night,
etc and never once meeting them in person.
Some employees, yours truly excepted, who spent the majority of their professional careers
in an office don't adapt to working from home even if they have the best of intentions.
Maybe millennials have the edge because many consider spending all your time in an office
the odd thing to do instead of the norm?

We're going to look at a new technique,
it's called 'abanico'
There are different ways of playing it,
you can choose whichever one you like best.
There's one that is played with a thumb upstroke,
middle and ring finger downstroke,
and thumb down as well.
It's a triplet (of quavers).
A variation of this would be,
instead of playing a downstroke with these two,
you play a downstroke with just the middle finger.
There is jet another variation,
which is played with these three:
thumb, index and ring finger.
Thumb plays an upstroke, on the beat,
ring finger down, index finger down.
These are the most typical variations.
Personally I play it with the little finger,
however, I recommend you don't do the same.
In my case it worked out fine,
but the little finger is not the strongest one,
and therefore I would suggest
you play with the ring finger instead.

In this quick tip video I will show you how to make a synth riser in FL Studio.
A riser is often used to increase the tention in a buildup towards a drop for example.
They are used in all kinds of genres, and is one of many tricks used to make a track
more powerful.
It's all about tention and release.
You can use any synth this.
I like to use a typical saw sound.
Make a pattern, and then make a long note, like this.
Click here to increase the range, and then right click on the pitch knob and select "create
automation clip".
Now it should increase in pitch.
If you want it to decrease instead, just do the opposite.
You may experience that the pitch range is limited.
In that case you have to increase it in the synth itself.
I used spire, and in this case we can change the range here to make it go higher.
Most synths will have an option like this.
It doesn't have to be a held note, you can make a more rhythmic riser too.
Just use your imagination, there's a lot
of possibilities.

In today's tutorial I am going to show you how to make a shaker card.
A shaker card consist of adding free elements to the card, so when they move
they make sound.
To make the card I used a couple of circle die cuts. With them, I created
frames to mark out the area where I am going to add these free pieces.
In this case, the frame covers all the image.
The image is called Winter Flamingos from Sasayaki Glitter. You can find the video where
I colored it in the link showed in the video or in the video description.
To have enough depth so the pieces can move freely, it is better to cut
between 8 to 10 frames.
Using the circular die I cut an acetate circle (this is a transparency
but you can use any other thin transparent plastic).
Then, I use liquid glue to glue all the frames but one.
You have to be sure that they are
well glued together so the pieces won't get out.
I continue
gluing the frames to the image.
I add liquid glue to glue some sequins and glitter to the image.
This way if you move the card, some pieces won't move.
After this, my little helper and I, add sequins and glitter
until we think it is enough.
I glue the acetate and the last frame with liquid glue and I make sure that the pieces are not going out.
To make the card, I use the biggest circular die cut on to a folded piece of cardstock,
I make sure that it doesn't cut to the end of the cardstock.
I glue the card base to the shaker and that is the card finished.

Sewol-ho ferry to make final journey to Mokpo - Duration: 1:52.
Here's the latest on the operation to move the Sewol-ho ferry.
The team resumed work after high waves forced a temporary suspension.
The oceans ministry plans finish the operation by the end of the day so the vessel can be
moved to its next destination in Mokpo Friday morning.
Kim Min-ji gets us up to speed with the process.
The Sewol-ho ferry will finally embark on the journey to its last destination,... 1,080
days after it capsized off Korea's southwestern coast.
"The oceans ministry has confirmed that the semi-submersible -- with the Sewol-ho on board
-- will set sail on Friday at 7AM to its final destination, here at Mokpo New Port.
It'll need to make a few detours on the way due to a number of islands in its path,...
so the semi-submersible will cover a distance of about 105 kilometers... in a time of roughly
eight hours.
The transport operation was back on track Thursday... after a delay the day before...
caused by high waves and bad weather at sea.
Crews are working to attach the ferry to the semi-submersible ship... and to remove some
of the devices that helped keep the sub-submersible afloat... so that it can dock when it gets
to Mokpo New Port.
Officials expect they'll be done by the end of the day.
Earlier in the day,... members of the special committee in charge of the investigation boarded
the semi-submersible... to survey the situation... and discuss how best to search for the missing.
They said they would map out a plan for the search and investigation by early April.
Officials from the National Forensic Service and the maritime police are also on board
in case more bone fragments are found,... after a mix-up on Tuesday when authorities
said they had found bone fragments from the missing... that turned out to be from an animal.

I have already cleaned the prawns nicely
turmeric powder,redchilli poeder,cumin powder,garam masala,cinnamon powder and suger
then i have taken mustard pest,tomato pest,crushed cardamon and cloves,ginger,garlic and green chilli pest
now i will marinate the prawn with salt and turmeric powder for 10-15 min then i will fry them
traditionally prawns are fried in mustard oil for malai curry but i am frying them on vegetable oil
do not over fry them,then it will make the prawn hard
when the prawn gets orange take them out
now onto the same pan i will add crushed cardamom and cloves and saute them for 10 sec
now i will add chopped onion and fry them until they gets golden brown
i am adding cinnamon powder,stir them well
now i will add the ginger garlic and green chilli pest.mix them well
now add all the dry spices,except the garam masala
saute the spices until the raw flavor from it are completely gone
now i will add tomato pest and let it cook for 5-7 min
adding salt and suger
the oil is coming out from the masala so now i will add coconut milk
now i will add mustard pest and stir them well
do not add too much mustard pest,it makes the gravy bitter
now i will add all my prawns onto the gravy
cover it with lid and let it cook for 5 min
after 5 min add the green chillies,garam masala and stir them well
now i will add 2tbsp ghee
and its ready serve it with steam rice

How to make Risotto | Felicitas Pizarro - Duration: 3:55.
Classic Risotto, super useful recipe, a must know...
to learn how to do it and never forget.
So, here I have a hot pan,
to which I will add 1 tbsp. BUTTER.
Let the butter melt and add 1 chopped ONION.
Cook the onion, we don't want it to get golden but to sweat and become tender.
Once this is ready, let's add 100 ml. WHITE WINE.
Good quality please!
We will leave the alcohol to evaporate,
and to give all it's lovely perfumes...
that's why we need good quality wine.
I have 250 grs. CARNAROLI RICE.
And for you that you are preparing Risotto for the first time,
let me tell you why we use carnaroli rice.
Carnaroli rice is a rice full of starch,
that will suck up all the juices we will slowly add now.
And all of this is what makes risotto so creamy.
Let's add homemade vegetable stock.
For this stock what I did was,
I grab all the veggies I had in my fridge, a slice of carrot, red pepper, some fennel...
whatever you have, this is always going to be better than buying it.
Add to the veggies water, a splash of olive oil, salt, bay leaves, pepper...
or anything else you like.
So back to the risotto,
don't stop stirring it up.
The risotto is a very easy recipe,
the only thing it requires is attention.
Let's continue adding stock.
I have some saffron over here.
So I will add 1 tsp. SAFFRON,
together with some stock to my risotto.
Hot stock & saffron, into my pan!
Keep on adding stock when the risotto requires it.
The risotto rules, we obey.
So time to see if it's ready, how we know this?
We try it.
We want it to be "al dente" because once we turn the heat off, this will keep on cooking,
because of the lovely heat it has inside.

Lovely, this is ready.
It's just around 15-20 minutes, depending on the amount of rice.
I will finish adding my stock & turn off the heat.
Finish it with some sea salt.
Just a pinch because our stock was already salty.
A bit of green pepper.
I also like adding some lemon zest.
For a fresh touch.
Now time to join our risotto, to emphasize this creamy texture.
For this I will add some parmesan cheese & butter.
100 grs. PARMESAN CHEESE.
1 tbsp. COLD BUTTER.
Ready & lovely, let's serve it.
Lovely, creamy.
Finish it with some fresh parsley.

Hello and welcome back to In the Kitchen with Matt, I am your host Matt Taylor.
Today I am going to show you how to make German Pancakes; breakfasts are one of my favorite
things to make, and German Pancakes are actually one of the first things I learned how to make
when I was a young lad, learning to cook.
The do go by other names, Dutch Babies, and then the Finnish Pancake as well, whatever
you call them, super easy to do, really yummy, let's get started.
First let's preheat the oven to 450 degrees F. Now I am going to start with 6 eggs and
put them in a large bowl, and then to that, I am going to add one cup of milk, you can
use 1 percent, 2 percent, whole milk.
And then I am going to come in here and give this a good whisk.
And you can do this in a blender if you like as well.
And then to this we will add one cup of flour, 1 half tsp. of salt, and that is it for the
batter, if you want this a little more sweet, add like a Tbsp. of sugar, and 1 tsp. of vanilla
extract.
This is the basic recipe.
Let's go ahead and mix this together.
All right when you are done it will be nice and runny like that.
And now what we do is we take a 13x9 baking dish, and we take 2 tablespoons of butter,
and we are going to go ahead and put that right in there, and then we are going to put
this in the oven and let the butter melt completely, and then we will take it out, the pan will
be hot, and then we will add our batter right in there.
All right and then after about a minute or so, we will take our pan out, make sure you
use a hot mitt, and make sure the butter gets moved around there a bit, and then we are
going to take our batter, and pour it right in the middle, we will go ahead and put this
back in the oven, and we will bake it for 20 minutes to 22 minutes, until the sides
come up, the batter is going to go up the sides, and get golden brown, it is going to
look really cool.
All right the timer is done, all right.
And then we take them out.
They will look like that, really cool.
Look at the golden brown on the edges, and then you just top them off, however you like,
with powdered sugar, syrup, whipped cream, fruit, whatever you like to do, and you will
see it is going to start to go back down, fall back down, and that is totally okay,
super natural.
All right our German Pancakes are done, turned out amazing, pretty easy to do, if I can do
it, you can do it.

main topic Things needed for making a
biological filter are:- any container you
want. I'm using this one as it is
commonly available at any home appliance
shop. A Filter sponge. A suction-cup .A T-joint
and Some Air-pipe. First Step is to
cut the filter sponge according to the
size of your container.
Now drill some holes at equal distance
at the top and the bottom of the
container or If your filter sponge
covers more area than drill some holes
there, like I have done at the side of my
container. Put the suction cup at the center
hole of the container's cap.
now add the bio media you want to add I
am adding the cycle media from my
corner filter.
now add the air pipe from the bottom of
the container then attach the T joint on
it.
now place the filter sponge then close
of cap the container. Now you're done just
place it into your aquarium and connect it
with an airpump. My old corner filter
was not working properly, I don't know
why? even if I cleaned it properly. so, I
made this biological filter. That's it

Hi! Today I will paint this hippo face art.

Today I paint this hippo because another big animals I already did.
And I don`t like to do somehing twice.
I will try to paint something like this.
I know that I`m a little smoller but I will try to compose it.
For begining we will take brown colour.
It`s so old and agly but I have to get it anywhere.
So I will paint with it contours - initual draft.
Let`s see how I will turn into the Hippo?
At first, he has wide-set eyes unlike me.
So we will try to push my eyes.
He has large folds under eyes.
Now we`ll paint his mouth. It`s so wonderfull. Hippo`s mouth so beautifull.
Now all of this look like a random lines, but this is HIPPO!
He will be choсolate colour.
I will take my another unfinished product, which I have to finish too.
BLACK (deep black Camelon)

This colour is vine, and this is orange.
Then we`ll take ivory colour.
*it was - dark-pink TAG*
Lower jaw is lighter than top, and top jaw goes into darkness.
Again take ivory colour and draw teeth.
We lead round our HIPPO!
Somewhere we drawed rough draft of volume.
There we`ll doing shade. This is named "Edge contrast"
(this is used in painting)
On the borders of volumes we`ll doing shomething lighter, something darker.
Tint may be the same, but exactly on boards it have to differ.
Because of that we create illusion of volume.
Lets shade some lines.
And now - texture!
HIPPO is so rugous.
... so thick-skinned... so spongy...
Now let`s draw this...
This is good way to do ours falds more volumed.
Do you see how different are eyes?
Right eye more built-in General picture.
Very important stage!
we have to start ours eye rigth out this point.
we try to move it ...
For the texture we`ll take white Global.
It`s transparent. This is exactly what we need.
Let`s move this part to the front. Another part a little move back.
on my nose at least...
At the picture that is one thing but when you drawing - it`s different thing.
This is stage when we can to finish...
