Youtube daily what Mar 29 2018

If we were to ask, "Is there an optimal ancestral diet?"

My answer is no.

There's not a singular optimal ancestral diet or human diet per se

and knowing my audience was probably a uniform intake of breath

and puckering it backsides when I say that.

But hang with me here, I'm still in good company

but I just kind of want to reorient

the way that we frame a lot of these questions

because I think that some of the ways

that we've gone after trying to even ask questions,

the hypothesis generation processes kind of let us down some blind alley.

So I want to point out some cultures,

and you guys are, I am sure, super familiar with this stuff,

but there are quite a number of cultures with diets that work,

and by diet I mean the nutrition that they eat daily,

not the thing that they're trying to do after the 1st of the year,

just so we're clear on that.

But we have everything from the Inuit to the Kitavans, Okinawan,

many of these people are considered to be in what's called blue zones.

They're really interesting, they do have some very interesting commonalities.

Largely whole unprocessed foods,

a host of lifestyle characteristics that are very uniform and consistent,

we're going to talk about that more at the end of this whole kind of discussion,

but what's really oddly missing is the uniformity of macronutrients.

You look at the Kitavans on the one hand

and their upwards of 70% carbohydrate diet mainly from tubers

and then the Inuits could not be more different than that.

But pretty uniformly what they have as far as outcomes,

which I think is the thing that we need to focus so much more

on both clinically and also from our research perspective,

which again Dr. Ede was talk about just a few minutes ago,

when we focus on the outcomes and we look at these kind of blue zone populations,

these pre-westernized populations,

they're largely free of Western degenerative disease.

They die from something eventually,

and it usually is something like heart attack or stroke or something like that,

but it happens much, much later in life

and they have what's called a compressed morbidity curve.

So they tend to stay quite healthy and then they die.

The Ultimate GDPR Compliance Guide - What is General Data Protection Regulation? - Duration: 12:07.

have you ever asked the question what the *bleep* is gdpr? Well you're in luck. This video is

gonna run you through it all the most important most critical parts of GDPR

compliance we even included a free downloadable cheat sheet that will give

you everything that you need in order to be GDPR compliant. We've even put

together a GDPR checklist designed by experts and cyber essentials creditors.

you're probably wondering why do I need GDPR complaints I don't even need a

checklist or you may have questioned if there's any justification for the hype

surrounding the general data protection regulation look I get up you already

have a to-do list and even when you finish everything on it you still feel

like you haven't accomplished anything meaningful so the idea of wasting your

time on yet another useful profound or gdpr made easy take lists will probably

give you the willies and business time as a commodity and a valuable one about

everyone wants more of it and sometimes managing the time you do have is

overwhelming between responsibilities of running a business managing

relationships with clients and personal well-being there seems to be very little

time to do anything else so when you first heard about gdpr compliance it can

be forgiven for having the initial reaction of my also to tailor co for me

I don't have time for or maybe I'll get around to gdpr some day you may be

delighted to learn that you're not alone this expected that more than 81 percent

of all businesses in the UK will not be gdpr compliant in time for the

legislation being enforced in May 2018 stands like this that may appear to be

justification for delaying gdpr compliance one of the hottest

topics are killing gdpr is that if each citizen data's preached online then your

business may be fined 20 million euros or 4 percent of your global turnover

whichever happens to be more therefore is easy for you to surmise the GDP are

equals the day through your business nobody has time for that

if gdpr exists to protect EU citizens from cyber criminals or businesses

mistreating their personal identifiable information that is GDP are really a bad

thing imagine for a moment that your personal information was stolen and be

used by others how would you feel did you feel angry victimized perhaps a

little scared a bit worse danger may or may not be doing with it look at what's

happening with Facebook wave after wave of people are leaving because their

personal information was beached by an external company who then used it for

marketing purposes therefore if you hope the general opinion the data protection

matters then your customers and clients must also have the same opinions as you

do and when your business is gdpr complain

customer satisfaction will be an all-time high Estevan 81% of your

competitors will not be gdpr compliant I made 2018

this means the GDP our compliance gives you the unique selling point that other

companies can offer their customers therefore if your company's gdpr

compliant then you'll have a penalty free business that retains customers and

attracts new business so the only question you really need to ask yourself

is this how much is GDP our compliance worth to me that we've managed to put

together a free GDP our compliance checklist which includes all the

information that you need in order for your business to be GDP are complying so

what is GDP our compliance while GDP our general data protection regulation is

new legislation that replaces the Data Protection Directive it becomes

enforceable by May 25 28 een and is developed by the Council of the European

Union the European Parliament and the European Commission with a aim to

strengthen and unify data protection for all EU citizens you buy control over

personal data to EU citizens and residents create new digital raise for

EU citizens simplify and unify regulation within the year make easier

for non EU countries to comply with the regulations unlike a directive gdpr does

not require national governments to pass any enabling into solution and thus is

directly binding and applicable to any business that stores EU citizen data

even if the data is not collected or stored on the server located in the EU a

single set of rules will apply to all EU Member States

each member state will establish an independent supervisory authority which

is often known as an AC to listen to and investigate complaints sanctions and any

admin offences should the business have multiple establishments in the year it

will have a single AC and its lead authorities

our gdpr makes it easier for nations over the European Union to comply with

the new legislation there will be steeper financial consequences F

accompanies online security is breached and has this data leaked online so what

is personal data under G's pyaare in accordance with gdp our

personal identifiable information also referred to as PII is considered to be a

any information that can be associated with an individual

this means that PII will apply to a lead Atta pertaining to an EU citizens

professional public and private life some of the most obvious types of PII

are a computer's IP address banking information social media posts email

addresses home addresses first and last names medical information private

photographs at this gdpr effect marketing and the data you

collect for more small businesses gdpr will only have a minor effect on the

day-to-day marketing or on how an individual's private information is used

for marketing purposes the general data protection regulation is predominantly

designed to prevent personal information being traded or sold to a third party

therefore there's a responsibility to protect and not misuse any data that you

collect any additional requirement of gdpr

and the collection of data is that for most businesses overly complicated terms

and condition pages on the website will have to be replaced with a more

straightforward and easier to understand use of terminology and language

furthermore it's good practice to clearly state what person is choosing to

opt into and how the personal information will be used a few examples

are perhaps on pop-ups and checkers or anywhere else that PII is collected an

EU citizens PII can only be processed by an entity if there's a minimum of one

lawful basis to do so the data subject is given consent it is necessary for the

performance of a contract a legal obligation to process an EU citizens PII

official authorities performing tasks and the public's and trace PII is

critical for the legitimate and choice pursued by the controller or by a third

party what about gdpr in email marketing email

marketing is a big business because is easy to detain customers and encourage

repeat business these days email addresses are like a currency and people

don't give away the no information to just anyone with a

very good reason here the course and card to get each and every subscriber

for the business his money well spent this is because email marketing has an

average forty x ry yes that means that for every pound you spend acquiring

email subscribers you get forty pounds back marketers and cavilleri

optimization experts spend the professional working lives in a pursuit

of getting the maximum number of email subscribers from his few visitors their

website as they can you'll have noticed that the fact be used pop-ups on our

website this is called conversion rate optimization and most businesses don't

have a problem investing and things like what place themes lining page builders

and newsletter list building plugins to offer the ultimate mouth-watering ascent

of that notice that I do subscriber one day be step closer to solving a problem

that keeps them awake at night you may have used something similar now be

questioning if gdpr will mean that you'll have to abandon

your super juicy incentives gdpr will have a minor impact on the way that you

use your website to collect content details what pops checkers or any other

ways that you collect PII will have to clearly state what it is that the user

signing up for and how your business intends to use the personal information

additionally subscribers and customers must be able to withdraw their consent

any time they also need to be granted access to any data that you have and a

be allowed right to be forgotten an additional requirement is the holy you

citizens must be able to unsubscribe from your email us at any time

uh most of this is standard hello GDP are affects schools when a school

charity or business collects a child's personal data consent must be given by

the child's parent or custodian this consent must be verifiable and data

controls must be able to prove the explicit consent was given what is a

data breach and what does it mean for gtp our data breaches and cybercrime are

hot topics right now but what many people don't understand is what a data

breach is and what it means for GDP are the short answer is that there are few

changes to your business and those data breaches in the future when the general

data protection regulation finally takes full effect the

a controller will be legally obliged to notify the European supervisory

authority reporting a data breach must be done within 72 hours of becoming

aware that a data breach has happened should there be any adverse and pipe

taking place those who are affected will need to be notified immediately on top

of that the data processor will also be responsible for notifying the data

controller with her in Italy all on all gdpr will make sure the data controllers

and data processors are held responsible for what takes place after a data breach

one of the many advantages to gdpr is they will make it easy for your

business to be compliant when handling EU citizen data because there is only

one set of rules apply each individual member state will create an AC

supervisory authority to handle and vase to get any complaints about your

business breaking legislation the supervision authority will also deal

with sanctions related to administrative wrongdoings should your company operate

from multiple locations in Europe will be assigned a single AC that is

geographically situated closest to your main office or place of business the EDP

be European Data Protection Board will be responsible for coordinating the

supervision authority and in some circumstances different supervision

authorities will work together and freely trade information with one

another so where can I get my free gdpr compliance checklist if you aren't

completely prepared for the new era of data protection for European citizens

then you're trailing behind your competition gdpr is a hot topic and if

you're not compliant by May 2018 then you're missing an extremely cost

effective way to grow your business our GDP our compliance checklist is focused

on time management that will guide you towards achieve an absolute data

protection and the GDP our compliance come and send a portable PDF format that

helps you to identify your biggest weaknesses in online security by the end

of the list you'll learn everything you need to know about gdpr and you'll be in

a position to stop focusing on what you have to do and start focusing on what

you want to achieve with GDP our you can't create more time but what this

checklist the 25 most important things your business needs for GDP are

complying in 2018 you can start making time for

what really matters when they're never to build challenges with GDP our

compliance shows up this checklist gives you the drive to follow through and

achieve the actions you want so here's where you need to do download the 25

most important things your business needs for GDP are compliance in 2018

Kailyn Lowry Allegedly Struggling Financially. What Is The Reason?!!! [SEE DETAILS] - Duration: 3:32.

Kailyn Lowry of Teen Mom 2 has allegedly been struggling with debt and ability to pay off her bills, despite the fact that she is a published author and appears on the MTV series.

According to the news outlet, Kent County Superior Court in Delaware, where Kail lives, has confirmed that the balance is still outstanding and that no court date has been set thus far.

Radar Online reports that the reality star has been hit with a judgment for $5,679.63 for back taxes and that a lien has been placed on her account to ensure she pays the government what she owes.

The reality TV star has many irons in the fire in order to help her capitalize on her Teen Mom 2 fame.

These include three books she has written about her experiences as a teen mother and her children, co-hosts a podcast which receives sponsorships from several different companies, and sells Scentsy, a multi-level marketing product.

However, she has admitted on her podcast that she is in so much debt, that if she died, her three sons would be left with nothing.

Kailyn Lowry is also often seen peddling products on her social media, and given her over 3 million followers on Instagram alone,

each product placement post likely garners a big paycheck each time she is photographed in an ad.

Aside from financial woes, the mom-of-three has had a lot of drama in her life due to her haphazard love life.

In December of 2016, she filed for divorce from her ex-husband, Javi Marroquin, and began dating her ex-boyfriend Chris Lopez.

Shortly after divorcing Javi, she had a baby with Chris Lopez, which shocked fans who were not expecting Kailyn to have another child, given she had told her ex she wasn't interested in having any more kids.

She has later stated that she meant she wasn't interested in having more children with him specifically. Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin are officially divorced but have had a rocky relationship since.

The pair has stated on her podcast, Coffee Convos, that they are not opposed to getting back together. However, since Javi has reunited with Lauren Comeau, Kail has said she is no longer interested in a reunion.

How To Make Money Blogging | Canadian Blogger Q&A | What it's really like - Duration: 20:00.

hey guys, Colleen here- DIYer behind LemonThistle.com, today I'm excited to be

here with some of my favorite bloggers from Western Canada and we're going to

be answering some questions that we get all the time. This is Lindi from Love Create

Celebrate. We've got Kristi from Making it in the Mountains and Christina from

the DIY Mommy. We have four different questions that we're taking on and we're

gonna put them all in a playlist for you below so you can hop around and check

those out. This video is going to be all about how to make money blogging and

the reality behind that for us. We are here on a girls weekend in Jasper and we

were talking about all the things that we get asked all the time and we thought

it would be really fun to do a collab and put it together on YouTube for you

guys so you can get to know us a little bit better and to kind of break down

some of those walls between viewers and bloggers. Before we get into money I just

kind of want to hear your guys' blogging story; when did you get started;

how did you get started and what were your goals in starting blogging... how did

you get here. My blog started more as just for fun so it was when I had to

quit my web design business and my graphic design business because it was just too

much when I had a newborn. Too many commitments and when my daughter was six

months old I really felt the need to have another creative outlet and since

I had the skills all ready to do web design and things I thought a blog

would be the perfect thing to do so I just wanted to make stuff and write

about it and it was just for fun and since then it's become a full-time

career just over the years. And you started how long ago? Nine years.

So Christina has been blogging forever. I'm like a senior citizen in the blogging world.

I'm trying to compute how many years I've been blogging and I think it's four.

I started when we lived 12 hours away from the rest of our family and so it was sort of

just a way that we were- we had bought this new house so we were hoping to do a

bunch of not renovations but things to it and we wanted to be able to share

with everyone and that just seemed like an easy way to do it and I had no idea

blogging was a career or something you could do to make money

it was just something I did to share with my family. I'm the same- When I started

I had moved away and I lived in different province than my family and stuff. I think it's three

years ago but I just did it because I want to share what I'm making with my

mom basically. I don't know. And then other people were looking at it and then all of a sudden I was like oh look, people are looking at this

random little website I started. And I had no idea people made money blogging. I really had no clue when I started.

I started- I knew people need money blogging but that wasn't my goal I

didn't want to do that. I was pregnant with my first- my twins and I was on bed

rest really early and I was bored. I went from working

three jobs to doing nothing and I knew that I wouldn't be able to go back to

working contract work like I was working and I had previously started businesses that I didn't actually like, so I thought

You know what- I'm going to start a blog. I'm going to write it while I'm on Mat leave

and then when I'm off Mat leave, I'm going to decide what I didn't hate

writing about for a year and then maybe I'll start a business doing that. It'll be great.

and then by the end of that year, people had started to ask me

to contribute. I went back to work for a little bit but it just was too

much to do both and I decided I can stay home with my kids.

I can put the time into this and make this my new job.

that took a couple years

So when did it change to a business for you guys? When did it go from being a hobby or some way to share some things to

being like okay this is a business- what was that switch?

For me me it was oh it was

about five years after I started so it's quite a while after I started when we

started building our house and I have seen other bloggers get sponsorships

from businesses to give them products to do their DIYs and so I thought I should try it- why not.

So I approached a bunch of brands and they

agreed to give us tons of material for our home so we save like thousands of

money building our home from these brands giving us- and then later I

learned oh the brands can give you stuff plus they can pay you for sharing that

stuff so it was about- I started the blog 2009 I started making money

in about 2014 and then 2015-16 started making like a full-time income from the blog.

I honestly think the switch for the wasn't that long ago it was fairly

recent at another job for a long time I had a couple mat leaves and that's when I started putting effort

into the blog, I was at home with my kids like you said I needed that sort of creative outlet

I started doing more and then recently things happened with my daycare and other

things personally that just caused me to say never mind

I'm gonna stay at home with my kids now and I don't think it was till after that

when I was like I'm gonna put some push into this and make it business because even

before I considered it like a hobby when I had this other real job it was like

a side hustle -yeah it was a hobby. I think for me it was- I ended up

stumbling into this amazing group of bloggers that were some were at the same

stage as me and some were well above me and I feel like people just started

lifting me up and opening my eyes to new opportunities that this career could

bring to our lives and then we bought this house that like our first

fixer-upper. We had always had like new houses and this was our first fixer-upper where

we actually had to do some work we weren't really in a position to be a

you know I'll just move in and renovate the whole house with a contractor and

it's just started to evolve like I had people lifting me up and showing me the

way and and I just took advantage of all those opportunities and

turned them into what I needed them to be. Yeah. Mine changed not into a blogging business until not

very long ago same thing I started in 2013 and when I decided not to go back I

mean I was working contract work so it's not like I was making that much money

anyways but I thought- okay if I can make the difference between what I would pay

and day care and what I would make at work which is like $200. Like you don't

make that much money above paying for daycare for two babies let me tell you

and if I can do that in a month that would be great so I started doing kind

of social media help for businesses because I'm like well now I know how to

schedule social media that's something I'm really great at-I can help them with

their images so that's when I started making money and I didn't switch to

doing things with my own blog until it was getting- I was pregnant again and

I was like this is so stressful being on other people's timelines and I mean if I'm

gonna be home and I can't I can't be doing all this so I decided to just

take a step back and see where it went. How have you made money over the years

what are the different things that you've tried and done?

I think blogging is such an interesting interesting career because it's

constantly evolving the ways that you can make money blogging and for me it's

not just blogging anymore it's just it's a whole bunch of different avenues so I

make money through sponsored posts on the blog and still my biggest source of

income through pay-per-click ads on the blog and also through affiliate links on

the blog so that's when you post a link and people buy stuff in the link and you

get a percentage and then now with YouTube that's a whole other avenue I'm

getting paid for pay-per-click ads on YouTube sponsorships on YouTube videos

and other things like speaking engagements and products I have a pillow line and

stuff like that so I think you for blogging you do have to be really open to all

sorts of avenues if you want to be successful. And I've heard it said too

that your blog is kind of like your home base right and it's a springboard to do

the other things that could bring in income. it's not necessarily like I have to-

the end all- or yeah exactly it's really a door opener. yeah I agree

The same as Christina like the biggest thing for me has been sponsored posts

and some really great partnerships with brands and I make money from the ads on

my website. I'm just branching out to youtube so that is not necessarily a

source of income for me but- there will be- and it's a really it's a really fun

avenue to explore because I think it's a new branch of things that I can bring to

brands as well so even if it's not necessarily YouTube that I'm making

money on I feel like it's it's opening up some opportunities with brands and

sponsors you know so yeah

And I mean for me it's the same like the same sort

of base things and I I'm just at the point now where I'm starting to think

about how I want to branch out of the blog like people do- write various ebooks

or real books or people you know branch into speaking engagement and different things where they

make new forms of income. Or shops that they have. So I haven't really

pushed out that boundary yet but I'm at that point where I'm wondering which Avenue I want

to go to start exploring.

I feel like maybe I was a little bit more creative

in how to make income because my my traffic was not huge and so I thought hey why not try these

other things and so I've done- yeah managing social media for brands and

I've done managing blogger programs for brands,

I've done writing as small businesses. I wrote a wedding blog- a couple wedding blogs for a while as their business

I mean I feel like I've done a lot of different things. I've been kind of like oh- I'll try that sure, I'll try it. and if it doesn't work out- that's okay.

Let's try something else.

And it all evolved from this little sort of blog. I had a printable shop on Etsy for a little bit. And then after I started blogging for money

I guess mostly it was guest posts on other people's sites and contributor posts

on other people's sites- that was my first taste of- Oh oh my gosh I can make a

little bit of pocket change now I have an e course that I sell on

brush lettering and I have another eCourse on idea generation as well

-you're a jack of all trades- yeah- I have a store where I sell things I just feel

like I try at all but my biggest my biggest is sponsored work and

then ad income

how do you balance making money with authenticity?

Yeah, that's a tough one I think blogging has evolved so much now that people are

finally kind of accepting that there are sponsorships and like readers are

accepting sponsored posts more but I think it is our responsibility to write

about things that were truly passionate about and products that we truly love that we

truly would you use I think that is really really important and I think

people can probably see right through bloggers and vloggers that share things

that they don't truly believe in.

I think that it's hard to when you start

blogging again I started I was just like someone wants to pay me to write about that.

Yeah sure, but now that I've sort of found my niche more and found my vision

and my brand and there's definitely things that I will -

there's money opportunities that I'm like oh that doesn't really fit with what I would actually

use at home so I have to say no to that.

yeah so I I think the most important thing to me the thing that's always

driving or at least in the background of all of my sponsored anything is that my

readers trust me yeah and my word counts for something and I don't want

to lose that yeah I don't. like I purchased things

because friends have recommended them and I want to be that friend that

recommends to to my audiences and I I want it to be genuine. you don't want

them to be disappointed -no on that note too there's been a couple of times

where I've had like sponsored content on my blog and then use that product or used

something that I thought was going to be great and then was disappointed

and that's a struggle - cause you have to- Like I'm not gonna lie my readers like

that's just- so I have to go back to people and say

well this was my experience and this is how- what I'm willing to do but I can't

you know say that I liked this or that it works easily or xyz

and sometimes they come to you and say we're not comfortable with you sharing that so

just scrap it yeah and I'm okay with that yeah

I actually just the other

day I was going back and work with the brand and they wanted me to write about

this and I'm like this is actually a really great topic this is something I

was going to write about anyways which for me is immediately like great fit and

I already had that post in mind yeah but then they didn't want to provide the

service. I don't feel comfortable recommending something unless I've tried it

and I know that I like it. if I'm not gonna tell a friend about it I'm not

gonna talk about it.

what is the biggest challenge in regards to blogging as a

business that you've had that's specifically in making money in blogging

I think for me the biggest challenge was what I said before was having those

sponsorships that don't if it doesn't turn out the way I envisioned it I hoped

that it would I think that yeah being authentic with my readers

being authentic with myself or my home. you know using- I don't want to promote a product

that I didn't like or that didn't work properly or that's at a store I wouldn't

shop at or whatever yeah. and learning about that balance because at

first as a new blogger you just want to do it all

Now I think for me if I'm thinking about the business side of blogging its money

management because sometimes yeah it's like most businesses like its most

entrepreneurial endeavours you're gonna have seasons where you have lots of

income and you're gonna have seasons where you have hardly income

and with blogging it's so all over the place cuz like around Christmas time you're

gonna be raking in the cash from affiliate sales and sponsorships and

then in January you're gonna have you're gonna make 5 bucks that month right

so it's like learning how to manage that income especially if you're using it to

provide for your family yeah and even where to invest like

reinvest some of that income into your blog too

yeah i find that tricky too.

it's so I think for me it's really important to me that I don't feel

like I'm coming off as I'm selling something to my readers yeah

I don't want to be my blog is not in an advertisement for people that I'm

working with it's me genuinely sharing things from my life and my home. yeah

in a natural way.

it's it's genuine it's organic it's it's my life right and I don't want

my blog to become an advertisement for someone else. It is a big struggle. And I would say for me the

communication and managing expectations not just from your readers who we love

them we want to meet their needs but for the amount of time that we put into it like

we have to see some sort of monetary return or we can't put that time in and also from

brands who want you to post like their logo and this infographic and this

that because it's like hey I value you my readers and I know I'm not

I don't want to see that I don't want to be sold to and kind of

managing that and in contracts and try to know... I mean we

want to think the best of everything that it's all going to work out but in

reality like we have to read contracts and try to put in it okay I'm going to

do this many photos and no I'm not gonna do a photo in the store that I don't

shop at. And no I'm like and you have to be really it's a business and that's hard

yeah just stay true to yourself and I think that can be really hard because -

brands do have expectations and how their money is being spent and that's fair. Absolutley.

But I feel like we need to juggle- first of all I feel like I know my audience best I pay really

close attention to what they respond to and what they like and I try to give out

good content that they can relate to I feel like I'm the expert of my audience and

so I want to make sure I'm staying true to myself and what keeping my audience

what they need while still getting a brand what what they're expecting right.

what's one thing that worked really well or that you want to focus on more?

For me it's been video so I started I started writing tutorials on my blog nine years

ago and now within the last three years I started building my YouTube channel

and I never ever would have thought that that would have been something that I

would focus on or something that did both for me because I feel like I'm very

self conscious of how I speak sometimes how I look and stuff and there's so many

younger people on YouTube it's such a different audience but it's been such a

cool thing to try and I think there's a really big audience on YouTube

ready to see some more home decor DIY like real life stuff that's not on HGTV

that's more of raw on YouTube and it's good

and I've been able to get lots of brand interested in YouTube and video and stuff

like that so I think that's something that I have been successful with over the last

couple years but I want to keep growing. I do know like a big I talked to you

guys about this I've got this vision from where I want to take my blog this

year and I'm really clear about it or it's been a while since I feel like that

happened so I'm really excited to make some changes and to a really hone

where my blog going so.

yeah yeah we talked about a

lot cuz we're both in that where I was saying I'm just sort of found a vision

and changed some things about my blog and changed about what I'm sharing

and I'm really happy with where it is right now and just trying to see where I

want to branch further from there.

I think alot of that is trial and error

because you don't really know what's going to work for you until you do it

and until people respond yeah like I always -when I started my blog I wanted

to make baby clothes right and now I am doing decor videos and people love them.

at one time in life I posted a recipe

and we were just talking about how yummy that was last night

I would say for me one thing that I've always focused on that's worked really

well for me is the teaching aspect of blogging if I'm gonna post a tutorial I

want to give detailed photos and instructions and real like avoid this

because I did that and that's always worked really well for me I didn't mention

actually do workshops as well- and that brings in some income- so i just try it all, i just like to try it all. but one

thing when I want to focus more on it's not necessarily the teaching but the

sharing because I've had their time with home decor being like well how can I

share that that's just an idea yeah right so how can I break them into

more posts but just to like let you guys in more on my thought process and you

guys have really inspired me to do that like here's my vision for the room

okay here's my update and I've always been like no unless it's finished and done

and I can do the whole start to finish in one post I'm not going to do it.

Alright so my question for you guys now that this is done

If you are a blogger what's the one thing that you found

Why candles produce smoke only when blown out? What is candle smoke? + 2 experiments - Duration: 1:35.

Do you know why candles burn without smoke,

but give out a bunch of smoke when we blow them out?

That's because candles don't produce smoke.

What seems like smoke is vaporized wax and is flammable.

As long as the candle is lit, that smoke, which is technically vaporized paraffin,

burns in the flame so that we don't see any smoke.

But when we blow out the candle, wax continues to evaporate until the wick cools down,

and it seems like the candle is emitting smoke.

Since this smoke, this vaporized paraffin, is flammable,

if we place another flame in it, we can see the amount of smoke decrease

and sometimes we can see the flame travel through the smoke and re-ignite the wick.

If we could quickly bring down the temperature of the wick,

for example, instead of blowing at it if we put it out using wet fingertips

the transferred water would cool down the wick more quickly,

evaporation of wax will stop sooner,

and the candle we put out would produce much less smoke.

- [Woman] Running into your ex.

It's something we've all dreaded.

- Well he's not here so...

- [Woman] You never think it'll happen to you.

But when it does...

(suspenseful music)

You need to be prepared.

Evite presents Party Etiquette.

(upbeat music)

- [Woman] Oh crap.

- [Woman] Told you.

- [Woman] Whatever you do just don't make a scene.

- Gotcha.

Don't make a scene.

Don't make a scene.

Don't make a scene.

- [Woman] Oh no, honey.

- I'm more of a cube guy myself but it's all ice.

- Heyyyy.

Oh my god.

Brad. So sorry.

- It's okay. - Let me clean you up.

I'm making it worse just like our relationship.

God.

- It's fine.

- No, listen.

You can trust me now, okay?

I've changed.

Didn't you get all those texts that I sent you?

- What?

- I've changed.

I've changed.

Give me a chance.

Give me a chance!

God.

You been working out?

- [Woman] Let's do that again.

Don't make a scene

and whatever you do don't bring up the past

and definitely don't let your ex know you've been

secretly stalking them on Insta.

- Oh.

Hey Kayla, it's good to see you.

- It's good to see you, too.

I didn't think you were coming.

I thought you were still in Paris with Lauren.

how would you suggest something like that?

- I didn't.

- While I have you here, can I add you on LinkedIn?

(sighs)

let's try this one more time.

He's an accountant,

he's like my rock, you know?

And I'm also expecting a rock.

(laughs)

Pretty great, yeah.

We met on a dating app for women.

- That's great, Kayla, I'm happy for you.

- Thank you. (laughs)

- You're okay?

- Oh yeah, yeah, yeah,

you're there to party,

say hello and move on.

Let's do this one last time

and let's do it the right way.

- Oh, hey Kayla, how are you doing?

- Hey, hey, I'm doing good, thanks.

This should be a fun party, right?

- Yeah, totally.

- Yeah, hey, well, good to see you!

(upbeat music)

- [Woman] You go, girl, you deserve a celebration.

(upbeat music)

Oh, oh, no.

Oh no, honey.

(upbeat music)

People are looking.

Ugh.

What The Spring??- 10cm EASY LYRICS - Duration: 3:37.

Who cares when the damn flowers start to bloom?

What's the use of knowing when the weather's gonna get better?

When it's cold, you all stick close together because it's cold

When it's hot, it's the same, you all are so weird

Your sweet boyfriend actually wants to go play video games

He's actually really tired

Do you really like spring you fools?

Are cherry blossoms really that pretty you idiots?

Flower petals eventually fall, I hope you all fall too

I hope you all break up

Screw all up

I'm perfectly fine, why can't I get one?

The weather is so nice, why do I have a cold?

When it's cold, I can't get one because it's cold

When it's hot, it's the same, life's unfair

Your perfect relationship is smiling right now

But you're gonna get dumped too, really cruelly

Do you really like spring you fools?

Are cherry blossoms really that pretty you idiots?

Flower petals eventually fall, I hope you all fall too

All of you

Don't hold hands, don't link arms, don't hug each other

Please don't do anything

Don't have your heart flutter, don't have a heart attack, don't be happy

Don't come into my vision

Do you really like spring you fools?

Are cherry blossoms really that pretty you idiots?

Flower petals eventually fall, I hope you all fall too

I hope you all break up

Screw all up

Screw all up

Screw all up

THANKS for watching!

What is Smarketing? - The Sales Wiki | Michael Humblet - Duration: 2:09.

- What is smarketing?

Well, you take the word sales, you take the word marketing,

and you combine them into one, and you say smarketing.

It's a word that has been invented

by a company called HubSpot,

and they are a marketing automation tool.

What they actually do, is they've been looking

into marketing and how to scale that.

That means, how can you segment,

how can you actually target people,

how can you collect all the data

of those people that come to your website.

And if you look at all of that,

they give scores to certain people, and then eventually,

you will know that person that has done,

and a few steps on your website, will be interested,

or has a higher potential to buy your product or service.

That's typically what marketing does.

Now if you add a sales component to that,

which means that once you have all the data,

you can much faster reach out to them.

So you add C-RAM system, and you start combining

the true power of sales and marketing.

And I truly believe that now we are in the era,

or in the decade, of smarketing.

Combining all the intelligence from marketing,

and you combine it with the closing skills of sales.

I strongly advise marketing to take some sales lessons,

because a lot of the marketers are really good

in designing and creating material,

but it doesn't mean it really converts,

or it really is able to close exactly.

So like the exact granular value proposition

and that kind of stuff.

Now, I also advise sales, and I do that a lot.

I think sales should do a lot of marketing.

They should become more marketers.

Sales these days for me, 60, 70% marketing.

So if they don't know how to segment,

they don't know how to profile certain customers,

and they don't know how to design how a website looks,

or how to do these things, and what data you can get.

They're becoming weak,

they will never know what to say to marketing.

So in order to balance your teams,

sales and marketing needs to sit together,

and really be tight-knit together.

The better you do that, the faster you will grow,

and the faster you will accelerate.

Wat is schoonheid? (What is beauty?) | Tarah Snitjer | Art talk - Duration: 4:04.

Welcome to my studio. Well, actually it is more a work room.

At the moment I am working on a collection where I want to show a different form of beauty.

I have been making pastel chalk drawings of bodies for years and I have always

chosen to put down the perfect body. So the beautiful slim woman, the

muscled man. That on a given moment I thought 'Okay this is actually

not a very real picture at all'. Because not everyone looks like this and

beside I am almost getting insecure as I

look at these images because that's also not how I look!

So then I started to wonder, what is beauty and who

determines what beauty is and how is it that we see one

as beautiful and not the other? That subject keeps me busy very much at the moment.

That's why with my collection I want to deviate from that standard beauty image

that we have. And all this with as a goal that we feel happy in our skin.

That we are satisfied with ourselves.

Every body is beautiful, everyone is beautiful.

I actually think it's too bad that in commercials, on television and on

the internet, we always see one kind of body. Mostly these are slim women, muscular

men, beautiful thick hair, not too big nose, nice teeth.

And I think that is almost giving us the idea that everything

different from that, isn't beautiful.

And I think that's a very wrong message. That's why I find it

very nice to see, that at the Primark they are now using

fuller models to show the lingerie. So there is no longer just looking for

size extra small. They also looking at women who are fuller now.

And that is now also seen as beauty. But it goes much

further than that. There are so many different people, so much

body types, thinks that happened what makes your

body look different. That also should be shown more.

Think of men with hair loss or excessive hair or women

who have had a mastectomy. I think it would be really cool that in the future

it's a very normal picture that these women also show lingerie

at the Primark, on other billboards or Victoria's Secret!

That all body type be shown.

That we no longer have the need to hide our body because we are

insecure about it, and it's different from the standard image that has been created.

For example, I have been uncertain over my belly for a long time, because I

saw a lot of images of super slim women with no fat on their stomach.

And I did not look like that. As a result, I felt very insecure about it. What

wasn't needed at all. It does not mean that because I look different

from the standard picture that I do not look beautiful. Or that that part of

my body is not beautiful. I am also very curious how other

people think about it. What do you see as beauty? What is for you the

definition of beauty? And do you have

uncertainties that might have arisen from the fact that you always

have seen another image? In my next video I will tell more about where

I am working on and maybe also the input that you have given me on

this video. You can also find me on Instagram, Facebook, I have a

website and email address. That is all below. So if you want to share something

about yourself. Let me know! You will be hearing from me!

Ball Tampering Scandal: What Can We Learn? (Cricket & Life Series) - Duration: 2:39.

On 24th March Aussie players were caught red handed tampering with the ball at the Cape

Town test against South Africa.

What really shocked the cricket world was the extent of planning that went behind it.

This premeditated cheating was obviously fuelled by the obsession to win.

In the world we live in, this obsession to win is turning into an epidemic,

and the consequences are many fold.

If you go to a large bookstore and visit the self-help section, you will find one kind

of books that say "You can do it.

You can make it.

Anything's possible."

And alongside you will find books of the second kind that tell how to deal with low self-esteem,

how to stop feeling bad about oneself .

There is a real correlation between the two.

In a society which tells you that you have to win at all times under all circumstances,

you will obviously have people having serious difficulty coping with inevitable failures.

And very soon we may need books of the third kind that say cheating is bad, you will be

punished for cheating, books on basic morality, because when you have a society obsessed about

winning, you will find a lot of people turning to malpractice to make it happen.

So please, let's understand that there's more to life than just winning or losing.

Let's make life a learning experience.

So let's cultivate the habit of really trying our very best and then leaving the rest.

What does the Brexit vote mean for Scottish independence? - Duration: 5:59.

So if we sort of take a step back and look what's happening in in recent

history obviously we had our own independence referendum in 2014 where by

a margin of 55% to 45% we voted to stay in in the UK and at that point the UK

Although we sort of knew by that point that we may be heading for a referendum

about European Union membership and we were very much still in in the European Union

So we voted to stay in the UK

Fast forward about 18 months nearly

two years and obviously we had the June 2016 we had the the referendum about the

UK's membership of the European Union and we voted to come out of the European

Union as the UK

Now the the problem with some of that is that when you look at

voting patterns in Scotland actually we voted in Scotland very much to stay in

the European Union by almost a factor of 2 to 1 so 62% of us voted to stay

in the European Union and 38% of us voted to to come out

So in other words as the politicians would say we are being dragged out of the EU against

our will and against the expressed wishes of the people of Scotland

So that's that's the background to it that you know the Democratic outrage is the

First Minister would say and they you know and and you know there is kind of

good reason for that I think and I think what she calculated was that because

almost two-thirds of us had voted to stay in the European Union and the fact

that we were being dragged out would mean that people would support her call

for another independence referendum but in actual fact that that hasn't happened

and both support for independence hasn't really changed significantly

since 2014 and support for a second independence referendum so for actually

holding another referendum has never been above in the short term has never

been above 50% so in other words I think the government in Scotland sort of

miscalculated actually the strength of voters feelings

So even though I think

for a lot of people well they don't want to be that they are being dragged

against their will it didn't necessarily mean in their minds that what they

wanted as a result of that was another independence referendum

So because of the election that happened this year and the fact that the SNP lost quite a few

about 21 22 seats the at least in the short term there isn't going to be

another independence referendum in Scotland

Scotland didn't vote for Brexit

it was 62% for Remain 38% which was higher than some expected for for Leave

and that was across the whole country that you couldn't point to any

council areas where there was a leave vote and according to opinion polls

those numbers have gone up a bit around 66% remain

So I think the sort of

constitutional political issue of Scotland being very out of sync with

English and Welsh politics at least is is quite an important one

I mean before the referendum the First Minister Nicola Sturgeon said that she felt

constitutionally Scotland should have a veto as one of the constituent parts of

the UK and not surprisingly that wasn't given

The last sort of 15 20

years has seen a real sort of political sea change particularly in Scotland and

I don't think the while that is the case that was a UK referendum and you go by

the UK results in a sense sort of politically and almost culturally we

have sort of moved on from that now and you can't expect well you can you can

try and implement the results as it pertains to the whole of the UK

You can't expect to do that without people in different parts of the UK saying well

hang on a sec we didn't vote for this and whether

that's in, whether that's in in this case Scotland or Northern Ireland

now in Northern Ireland at the moment you know there is no that you know as we

speak there that there is no government so finding their voice in this is a

little bit more difficult

Whereas we in Scotland have a have a

government we have a strong government it's been in power for 10 years

It's extremely pro-European it there wasn't a single politician and a single

politician from the SNP either Westminster Holyrood or in local

government who during the campaign stood for leaving

Some of them since the

European since the referendum have come out as levers but during the referendum

not a single SNP politician despite the fact that about a third of SNP voters

voted to leave which is a separate issue so it isn't unsurprising that the weight

of the Scottish government which is I think sort of taken much more seriously

these days was put behind you know the position of you know we really don't

want this to happen this is a democratic outrage and if we can't stop it

happening then what jolly well gonna try and have our voice heard and make sure

that the the sort of saying earlier the different kind of political and economic

conditions in Scotland are taken into account during the negotiation period

What do people think about street art? - Duration: 4:02.

Hey guys, my name's Kainoa Garo.

Today, we are going to be going to Downtown San Jose with Ian, Nethan, and Maxwell.

We're going to be going around the city, looking at a bunch of street art,

and try to find out, how, street art impacts society, and how society impacts street art.

Alright so, what is your name?

My name is Emil.

Emil? And, do you think street art poses positive or negative effects on society?

Positive.

Positive effects? And, next, why?

It's aesthetically pleasing and better than a lot of art.

Next question, how do you think society influences street art in San Jose?

Like either encouraging it or not encouraging it.

What is your name?

I'm Ethan.

Ethan? And how do you think street art poses positive or negative effects on society?

Well, I think street art allows people to have the room to be creative,

and to express themselves freely.

But I think that's the positive side of it.

I wouldn't call it a negative, but like all things, you could express a positive emotion,

express negative emotion as well, so I guess it's more of how that person is feeling at that point of time.

And how do you think society influences street art in San Jose?

I'm not sure I can answer that question because I'm actually a foreigner.

And I'm just in town for a couple of days for a conference.

What's your name?

My name is Paul.

Do you think street art poses positive or negative effects on society?

I think street art poses a positive effect on society.

How do you think society influences street art in San Jose?

I think from the young kids coming up in San Jose and most of the culture coming from there,

whatever they're into right now, they put that into whatever they want to show, on walls.
