House Tully?

Family, duty, honor.

Correct

House Baratheon?

Ours ist he fury

Correct

What are our words?

House Marton. We won't kneel

I know the word. Couldn't you tell me the Story of House Marton?

Back then we were a great house Wendrik…

By the time we were vassals of the Starks

First they randomly raised the taxes

But then wanted to have our sons for their fight against Aegon the conqueror

Just for securing King Torrhens power

He troop his vassals and prepared his army for the battle

This time we refused and we faced the Starks for battle

more than 300 years ago the battle rampaged near the wolfswood

Stop! We take this one as hostage.

Tell the man they shell make a camp in the forrest. We rest

We are too late…

Me Lord look!

They have your brother

Follow me!

Walles Marton…

Torrhen Stark

King Stark for you!

I am sure your father missed you in the battle

But we are glad that you are here to pay respect to your kind

Kneel!

I am here to get my brother

Your brother ist our dead pledge

Kneel and your house will remain

You even can collect the puny rest of your army and join us declaiming against Aegon

The Dragons of Aegon Targaryen will crunch you!

You have to watch out for kneeling before Aegon at the end!

Help him on his knees

Enough!

We could finish all of this

Your father was irrational

Don't be that foolish

Bend your knee and your brother will live

The time is coming where every man have to make his choice

I see you don't kneel but more I probably won't get from a Marton...

If you are older the time of choice will come for you too

Skyrutiny: Steaming Piles of Greenshite - Duration: 7:30.

About six weeks ago Valve pulled the trigger on Steam Greenlight, and a lot of gamers everywhere

rejoiced at the decision while the majority of the indie dev scene uttered worried groans

of uncertainty.

For the last five years we seen Valve's motto of "anyone can ship anything" in action,

and they really weren't kidding when they said that.

Absolutely anyone can ship anything on Steam and we've seen the quantity of games increase

while the quality overall has decreased.

Steam Direct was slated for release in Spring of this year, which means it is just around

the corner and yet we're none the wiser about how it will differ from Greenlight.

All we've been told so far is that they are moving from a pay-once-rely-on-votes system

to pay-per-submission system, and even then Valve has not settled on a price to charge

developers.

So, really, we have absolutely no idea if this new system will stop the shovelware shite

or mediocre meme games trickling into the store front like a bad case of the tummy troubles.

All we can do is keep every appendage crossed that it will be successful in it's attempt

to filter out the questionable content and keep the store front stocked with fresh, delicious

goodies for us to peruse, purchase, and play.

I've spent the last year reviewing cheap games that made their way onto Steam via the

Greenlight system, and while that have been a few hidden gems, the vast majority have

been complete and utter tosh.

The lack of quality control on Steam Greenlight has been blatantly obvious for quite a while

now and Valve have been unclear about how Steam Direct will step up to the plate in

this regard.

But without some sort of oversight, we get crap like Quickscoper Doge: The Dank Illuminati

Memes or VERY BAD GAME being available for people in it for the lols, and automated bots

to attempt to push through to the store front.

And do people honestly want shit like this available on Steam?

No.

No one does.

And if you don't believe me, come, let us watch the trailer for VERY BAD GAME together.

Wait, what the fuck is this?

This isn't…

Oh.

Oh.

Ha ha.

Oh you've got to be kidding me.

Wow, really?

Oh this is just embarrassing!

I was drunk yesterday.

How?

I don't understand it.

I don't get how people can.. put their name to this shit.

How are they not embarrassed?

This isn't even a trailer.

This is a random.. random number of stock images that they just stole.

That's the entire game and this is the entire frickin' trailer.

See, look they haven't even made the game: "which engine will it be made?"

This is ridiculous!

How?

And why?

I.. ugh.. and this.. this is on Steam for people to vote for.

Thanks.

Thanks.

Nothing is impossible.

Do you now see what I'm saying?

No one wants this game or any other game like it to grace the store front, and frankly this

kind of crap should even be able to compete for a chance to be released on Steam.

These games simply don't deserve it.

Developers like this need to piss off back to whatever dark corner of the web they came

from and not flood Steam with streams of hot, putrid waste like this.

All it does is encourage more unprofessional developers to get on board the Steam Greenshite

Train and peddle their foul, sloppy creations.

So just what can Valve do to ensure Steam Direct doesn't find itself sitting in the

same dark, dank latrine with unpolished turds scattered around it?

I have few ideas.

Number one: Introduce some form of quality control.

This one is so bloody obvious.

Valve should get together a team big enough to manually sift through every single submission

to ensure they meet all the requirements necessary before being published to the store front.

It's not like Valve can't afford to pay people to do this kind of work.

They are not a small Mom 'n Pop company they were perhaps 20 years ago.

Valve has an estimated worth of 2.5 billion dollars and hires only 360 people.

By comparison, a digital retailor and social media platform company called Garena, also

have an estimated worth of 2.5 billion, but they employee over 2000 people.

So it's definitely feasible for Valve to bump up their numbers a little and employee

a team to oversee the quality of the games being released in their digital store.

Especially if they will no longer be donating the fees of game submissions to charity like

they have been doing with the current developer fee.

They did mention that developers would be able to recoup the cost of the fee, but, again,

Valve haven't been clear about what this exactly entails.

Now, if Valve REALLY don't want to pay people to do this sort of work, they could look into

creating a volunteer-based system kind of like Counterstrike has done with its Overwatch

program.

Out of the millions of users on Steam, Valve could easily find thousands of people willing

to spend time vetting games in exchange for a game or two each month.

I know that I would!

Valve could perhaps assign 10 people per submitted game and create a feedback form that these

volunteers would need to complete in full within a 7 day time period.

Sure, Valve would need to hire a few people to then review the feedback, but I imagine

most of that could be automated depending on how they would write their feedback form.

This would mean that Valve get more eyes on the games being slated for release on their

platform, the volunteers would get at least one free game each month, and we would see

a cleaner Steam overall.

Naturally the volunteering idea would need to be refined and tweaked somewhat, but I

think you all understand the general gist of it.

Number two: Introduce basic standards for games being released on Steam and hold every

developer to them.

If quality control assessment does become a thing – and it bloody well should – Valve

must make sure that every game is looked at and treated fairly.

This should mean that each game must include a trailer that shows actual up-to-date gameplay

footage, a decent description, correct classification, and the game itself should be tested to ensure

that it is a game, that it loads correctly, appears bug-fee, and isn't of a low quality.

And by low-quality, I'm talking about games that appear to have been thrown together in

an afternoon or generic asset flips that we've seen an abundance of on Steam Greenlight.

If these basic requirements are not met, the game gets either a permanent or temporary

denial slapped on it, the fee perhaps gets partially or fully refunded to the dev, and

if given the option, the developers can re-submit after fixing the issues mentioned in the denial

statement.

Number three: This one isn't specifically about Steam Direct, but more of a general

thing that Valve should introduce alongside Steam Direct.

If a game does get through the vetting process and everything on the surface looks hunky-dory,

but ultimately the game ends up being riddled with bugs, is unplayable, or doesn't live

up to the promises made *ahemNoMan'sSkyahem*, then Valve need to be faster in pulling those

games from their storefront.

A supermarket wouldn't continue selling a bad batch of cookies after waves of complaints

came rushing in about those cookies, would they?

No.

They wouldn't.

That's part of quality control.

Ensuring that the products you're selling are good for consumers to purchase.

And if they're not?

You pull them from the shelves.

I know that this topic has been talked to death by gaming websites, forums, and fellow

YouTubers.

But so long as Steam is the biggest digital distributor of games across the globe, we'll

continue to talk about the huge issues with the platform.

Outside of my hopes and wishes for Steam Direct, I have one bigger one.

I really would like Valve to communicate more openly with it's customers, and in general

improve it's customer support.

It's been over six weeks since I reported the fake awards on a game on Steam, and have

Valve done a single thing about it yet?

Have the fuck.

In fact, the dev behind that dodgy behaviour is already attempting to get the game's

sequel Greenlit.

And that right there is why Steam Greenlight slowly suffocated itself to death.

And why we are all hoping that Steam Direct doesn't turn out to be a Greenlight system

with a little bit of paint slapped on it.

Fingers crossed!

Store Items - Mini Militia - Duration: 4:28.

hi guys this is me trendz gamer here

with another Mini Militia videos so today

I'm going to explain to you all the

things that you can get from the store

in mini militia so these are the things

that you buy with your battle points

basically you get battle points for

kills like yeah if you get one kill you

get one battle point

and I don't know

what suicide sue said I think you lose

about a point or something but I'm not

sure so let's continue all right first

thing you can buy over here is boost regen

it increases 50 percent of your

jet pack recharged speed that is

basically waiting time for your jetpack

second one is health region this

recharges your health twice as fast so

you can survive more time which means you

have more time to get more kills and

battle points and with the game third

one is boost increase it increases your

boost duration by 20 percentage that

means you can have your boost lasting

more than 20 percentage it cost is 2000

battle points golden eagle is the next

one this is basically a gun so if you

buy this you get golden eagle at the

beginning of the game but I really don't

recommend this because i don't think

that gun is really that useful and it

costs only 250 battle points next one is

increasing increase accuracy so this is

basically a thing that increases your

accuracy so it increases your accuracy

and bullet firing accuracy by 20

percentage it goes two thousand points

to next one is grenade plus one so

basically by the name you understand in

the starting of the game you get

normally get three grantees but if you

purchase this you get four grenades it

cost 1000 battle points next one is

Melee plus ten it increases your melee

attack damage by + 10 so if you're

melee attacker you can use this next

one is handgun clip extender so this

basically increased 25 percentage bullet

for uzi and desert eagle and it cost

1000 250 points next one is rifle quick

extender so this is basically thing i

have bought it

the bullets amount of m4 m14 and ak-47

by twenty-five percent both of this

basically means that it increases the

number of bullets per before you have to reload

have a little next one is laser sight so

this basically replaces your thought

replaces dotted with laser so it highly

increases your accuracy and i highly

recommend this so if you want to get

some clothes this is one of the best

thing you had to purchase because of the

usefulness and the cost it only cost

1000 battle points next one is gas

grenade you can acquire this at the

beginning of the game so if you find

this will have a gas grenade at the

beginning of the game so if you just

drop that on your spawn point you can

get some spawn kills or you can find a

area with a lot of players and throw

that and you could get multiple gifts

and it costs only 500 battle points next

one is faster reload one it reduces the

reload time of boozy and desert eagle by

30 percentage and it goes 1000 points

next one is faster reload 2 it reduce

a reload time for m4 and m14 and also 80

/ 7 x 30 percentage it caused 1500 next

one is mask pack 1 so this is only and

only for pro pack users so people have

both pro pack users can buy this

otherwise it's pretty much useless what

this does is it unlocks a bunch of mask

and hat and glasses section for us to

customers but only a pro player can use

this in the game so can other pro player

I don't see the point in buying this and

it goes 500 points so these are the 14

things that you can buy from the store

and the things that i have is laser and

gas grenade so i only have that many

battle points but these are the best

combination that i have found and closer

by just the health region but i prefer

to

get more kills and battle points rather

than winning a match so it's down to

your personal preferences so thanks a

lot for watching guys hope you'll enjoy it

and see you all later

How Persona Was Changed Outside Japan - Duration: 6:12.

Hello everyone, Tom from Censored Gaming here.

The Persona series, and by extension the Shin Megami Tensei franchise as a whole, had a

rocky launch in the Western world.

Back in 1996 a then inexperienced Atlus USA would handle the localization of Megami Inbunroku

Persona, a title which literally translates to Goddess Odyssey: Persona, a derivative

of its parent series' title, Shin Megami Tensei, which itself translates to True Reincarnation

of the Goddess.

It seems Atlus deemed this title a little too complicated as it was changed to Revelations:

Persona in the US.

"Revelations" was clearly intended to be the Western branding of Shin Megami Tensei,

as it was the title of the first localized SMT title: Revelations: The Demon Slayer for

Game Boy, known as Last Bible in Japan.

The efforts to westernize the first Persona game don't end with just the title, however.

Many alternations were made to remove its Japanese origins.

Many of the characters have radically different redesigns from their Japanese originals, and

they have been given different names.

The protagonist has been given lighter skin, a different hair style and colour and his

ear ring removed.

Kei Nanjo, renamed Nate Trinity here, has also had his skin lightened and his hair colour

changed.

A similar treatment was also given to Eriko, renamed Ellen; and Maki, renamed Mary.

The main cast that retain their original character designs are Brown, renamed Brad; Ayase, renamed

Alana; Yukino, renamed Yuki; and Reiji, renamed Chris.

Most of the minor cast have had their names changed too.

The list is slightly too long to go through individually [a scrolling list will go into

the video here] but the main ones are the villain Kandori being renamed Guido Sardinia

and the names of the two little girls Mai and Aki.

Both names are an anagram of Maki since they are both part of her in the story.

In the English version they are called Mae and Maggie instead, using the first two letters

of Mary.

Humorously, some of the names changes are likely Batman references.

Nate's butler is named Alfred, and a couple of its minor cast are named Bruce and Selina.

The biggest and most controversial of these changes is the character Mark, who is, ironically,

one of the few characters to retain his name from the Japanese version.

Mark is black in the US release and everything about his design, sans his pose, has been

radically changed.

Since black people are significantly more common in the US than Japan this is suspected

to be another result of transposing its setting.

The original setting was a fictional, yet very Japanese town called Mikage-cho.

Here it's renamed to Lunarvale, possibly as a reference to the moon phase mechanic

in the game.

This trend of renaming aspects of the game is absolutely everywhere and doesn't apply

exclusively to Japanese words and names.

The Agastya tree is now the Augustus tree, and many of the demons, personas, skills and

items have different names.

This video would be far too long if we went through them individually but you can read

many of them onscreen now.

A recurring theme with the name changes is that they are somewhat 'dumbed down' and

trade their original name, which usually has mythological roots, for a name that is easier

to understand.

For example, Titania, the queen of the fairies from A Midsummer Night's Dream, becomes

simply "Queen Fly".

Moh Shuvuu becomes Kimono, Leprechaun becomes Ghoul, possibly because of its appearance,

Duergar becomes Dwarfen, and so on.

Although some of the changes seem to come from lack of research and are direct Romanized

translations.

For example, Armati is called Allmighty.

Armati is the wise patroness of the earth in Zoroastrianism mythology.

It is not a clumsy Japanese rendering of the word almighty, as the localizers may have

assumed.

Anyone familiar with more recent Persona or Shin Megami Tensei titles may be confused

by the different skill names.

Agi, bufu, zio and garu are now fire, chill, force and wind respectively.

Mudo and hama skills are now also holy and death skills.

Changes were also made to the game balance itself.

The encounter rate was lowered and the amount of experience gained was increased, possibly

to make the game easier for new players.

Also, the in-game currency was changed from yen to dollars and the price of items has

been dropped.

Many lines of dialogue are different from how they are in the Japanese version.

A plot point in the original game about Nate wanting to become the number one in Japan

has been removed.

The riddle outside of the school is a particularly infamous localized line.

In order to get into the school your party must prove they are not the demons or zombies

that have invaded Lunarvale.

To convince them they use the poem, "Roses are red, zombies are blue, but my face is

white, so you know I'm true."

This line is slightly unfortunate with the race change made to Mark.

In the PSP version, which is a much more faithful translation, that part of the poem is rendered

as "I don't want brains,".

Finally, we get to perhaps the biggest change from the Japanese version; the removal of

the snow queen quest.

The snow queen quest is the game's second route that is completely different but just

as long as the main SEBEC route.

It follows a different story and has different dungeons and characters.

That's right, owners of the game back in 96' were essentially missing half the content

from the Japanese version.

Remnants of it still remain in the game, such as this FMV cut scene showing the three towers

from the quest.

The content still remains on the disc but it is untranslated and dummied out.

There are two reasons why it was removed.

One reason is that Atlus wanted the game out before Christmas and the snow queen quest

was simply too time consuming to translate.

The other reason is that Atlus themselves found it too difficult, and the method the

player uses to use to unlock the quest was found to be too obtuse.

The quest was restored in the 2009 rerelease for the PSP, titled Shin Megami Tensei: Persona.

This new version sports a more faithful localization than its 1996 release, with all of the names,

portraits, demons and items retaining their original names and appearances.

The series has since embraced its Japanese roots, with later games making no effort to

disguise its Japanese setting.

In spite of its highly criticized localization, Revelations: Persona remains something of

a cult classic, with copies of the game being highly sought after by collectors.

With Persona 5 releasing April 14th 2017, with a confirmed faithful localization and

zero cut content, it's interesting to go back and see how the series was initially

launched in the West, and how Atlus USA has improved its localization practices.
