Look at all that shit.

Oh my god.

Look, Virginia.

Look at this.

This Creole-talking witchdoctor got a picture of his damn mama

on his desk.

Think his mom know he got a crew?

For all you know, she runs this shit.

Douse that shit, Virginia.

[GUNSHOTS]

[SCREAMING]

What was that?

Oh shit.

[GUNSHOTS]

[GUNSHOT]

[GLASS SHATTERS] - Don't shoot.

Don't shoot.

[SIGHING]

Clay, you idiot.

I almost blew your damn head off.

Good shot too.

I didn't think you had it in you.

What happened out there?

They say they shot, but we got them back.

But all this noise is going to bring in the cavalry, so.

Shit. OK.

Everybody douse everything.

Let's do this. - Whoa, whoa, whoa.

Change of plans.

We're taking the coke. - Wait.

What?

The plan is to burn it. - Yeah.

Well, I'm from the South.

We burn crosses and matches after we take a shit.

Let's get this stuff on the boat.

Come on now.

Roller, don't.

Right.

Burning's bad business, baby. - No.

Tom and Kim - Love never fails or gives up - Duration: 3:00.

My name is Kim Bolewski.

My name is Tom Bolewski.

I'm married to my wife Kim.

Tom and I have been married for 34 years now.

It's been a long time but it's been a great time.

Wouldn't change anything about it.

We had three teenage boys.

Very active family everybody was in athletics.

Motorcycling, snowboarding, waterskiing, hiking, fishing, camping, golf.

I mean you name it, we played it, we did it.

He was in the hospital for six to nine months all over the place.

SIx different facilities he was in.

He had surgeries to reconstruct his face.

They told me he was gonna go to a nursing home

and spend the rest of his life on a ventilator and it would be a short life.

They assured me it wasn't going to be very long

and that he wasn't going to make it, and so I said

well I'll just take him home then

cause I'm not going to send him away somewhere.

I mean I went from being a business owner

provider for our family father of the household

took care of everything my wife was my princess.

Now her life was forever changed cause she was gonna be responsible

for caring for me taking care of the house

being the breadwinner Just a 180-degree role reversal.

I just always knew he had the will and the drive

and the strength to try.

We were here to support him.

She just stayed committed and did whatever it took

to get me whatever care I needed throughout this entire episode

in our lives, and I owe a lot to her for that.

Tom tries really hard to find ways to do things to help me.

He uses Siri and Alexa.

On the days that I go to work he has the nurse take him to

the market and then they come home and cook together.

He makes sure the nurse makes extra and packs a lunch for me.

He just tries any way he can.

Because we were so strong before I was injured,

I think that strength kinda carried through

and we were able to try to make things work

no matter what it took.

Everybody's grown and gone now and we have a really nice routine.

We have date nights still just like when we were young

and the kids were little and you had to get out of the house

we still make sure we do that.

We have a little saying in our relationship.

She gives me credit for having cared for her in every need and desire for twenty-four years.

She figures that she can do at least the same for me.

So here I am, actually eleven years into my injury

so I got thirteen years left

and then she always says

we'll renegotiate at that time.

I love you Tom, Happy Valentine's Day.

Thank you for everything that you do for us.

You still help us keep it all together.

Thank you.

I wouldn't change anything.

Throughout all this time You're still my Valentine and I love you

and I hope that we have a lot more years to enjoy

each other and enjoy our grandkids and continue having these wonderful

Valentine's Days forever.

10 tips to SPEED UP Design and Render | Enscape for Sketchup - Duration: 8:20.

What's happening ladies and gentlemen,

this is Minh from Architecture Inspirations.

Today I'm going to show you 10 tips

to speed up your design and render

in Enscape for Sketchup.

Let's get started.

1. using the right Styles to increase Sketchup speed

For this tip, I will use this model as an example.

As you can see, since this is a big model,

when I look around,

my Sketchup doesn't look very smooth

and it's kind of slow

So a good way to increase the speed of Sketchup

is by using the right styles.

You can do that by going to the Styles Tray

on the main Sidebar.

Here, you can see that one of the default styles

has been selected.

If I click on the Edit tab,

I can see that the Edges and Profiles are turned on.

If I turn these off,

then you can see that my Sketchup is a lot faster,

and smoother now.

However, I recommend turning the Edges back on,

cause you need to be able to see them when modeling

Now I'm going to go back to the view,

turn off the Profiles,

and update my view to have this style.

Sketchup also has useful styles presets.

If you hover over a preset with this icon,

you can see that it's a "fast modeling style"

which is optimized to speed up your model.

Just choose the ones that has this icon

and it will make your Sketchup faster.

2. Enscape Rendering Quality

When using Enscape,

if your model is running a little slow,

then go into the Enscape settings window,

and lower the rendering quality to improve performance.

I also recommend turning on Automatic Resolution,

which reduces the resolution dynamically

to ensure a smooth frame rate.

Here is a comparison between the two settings

There we go, you can see that it's faster now

3. Utilize Rendering Styles

Enscape also has different Rendering Styles

that help you improve your workflow.

In the settings window, on the general tab,

you can click here

and choose a different Rendering Style Mode.

First is the white mode,

makes your model looks like it's made out of paper

If you're working on the conceptual design,

use this mode to focus on the form and shape of the model

This also makes the Enscape runs faster too

Next is the Polystyrol mode,

which makes your model looks like it's made out of styrofoam

You can also use this transmission slider

to control how much light is transmitted through the geometry.

Use this mode to make you model look like

a physical model of your project.

And finally, the Light View mode

provides a heat map of the model,

which makes it easier to study the lighting of your render

so you can adjust it accordingly.

Here you can see that this part is a little dark,

so I can adjust it here

while using the light view mode as a reference

When using any of these modes,

can also use this slider here

to add outlines to your model

so you can see the form easier

4. Use Proxy

Another way to increase the speed of your model

is to use the Linked model feature,

also known as Proxy

Which allows geometry to be imported from an external model

at render time only.

This makes it possible to render large scenes

with many complex models

more than Sketchup itself can handle.

You can also turn an existing object in the model

into a proxy using this option here.

When saving the model,

remember to keep it organized

so that you know where to find it later.

I did a whole video on this topic,

so watch it if you want to know more

about using proxy in Enscape.

5. Create your own Asset Library

Even if you don't use the proxy feature,

you should still save your 3D assets

in your personal library

so you can use them in another model later.

Since these are already optimized,

they will be render-ready

the next time you import them into Sketchup.

Also remember to keep you assets library organized

so you can easily find them later.

Here is an example of how to organize your assets.

You can organize them by categories,

such as 3D Models, IES light sources,

Skyboxes, and Sound effects.

Then for large categories such as 3D Models,

you can have subcategories such as cars,

decorations, furniture, people, etc.

6. Free Resources

Now that you have setup a your library,

there are lots of websites where you can download

free resources to fill up your library.

I've made a couple videos on where you can download

Materials and Models for free,

so you can watch those videos to learn more.

You can also follow this link to see Enscape's blog post

on the best free resources for architectural projects.

I will leave these links in the description box below as well.

With these resources,

you can build up your library to as big as you like,

similar to what I have here.

7. Enscape Asset Library

In the new version of Enscape,

there's also a new feature called the Enscape Asset Library.

You can open it by clicking this icon here.

This is a built-in library that provides 3D assets

such as accessories, furniture, people, and vegetation.

These are already optimized

so when you put them in your model,

they are ready for render.

I will cover this feature more in-depth in another video later.

8. Incorporate Views and Layers

When presenting your model,

use layers to manage you views

so that you can change from day to night

with a click of a button.

For this model, I created a layer for the lights

and I assigned these lights to that layer

From there, I can update the views,

so that the day view will have this layer turned off,

and only have the lights on for the night view.

This way, I can easily switch back and forth

between night time and day time render

by just clicking these tabs here.

Pretty cool huh?

9. Use Enscape Settings

To make this workflow even better,

you can incorporate views and layers

with Enscape settings

For example, for my day time view,

I am using this skybox image

with all of these custom settings.

First I'm going to click here to save it

and rename it to "Day Settings"

Now I'm going to add a different skybox

for my night view scene.

Then I'm going to click here to switch to my night view.

This looks a little bright, so I can adjust the exposure.

A quick way to do that

is to use the auto exposure option.

I'm also going to brighten up my background,

and rotate it a bit

Then I can make more adjustments as needed.

And finally I can click here to save this as a the settings,

and rename it as Night Settings

There we go.

Now I can switch to Day View

by first changing the settings,

and then click this tab here

Or switch back to Night view like so.

It's super quick and convenient.

10. Use Shortcuts

As you know,

there are shortcuts for navigating in Enscape

But did you know that

you can quickly navigate between the different settings

using keyboard shortcuts?

For example,

you can change between the different Tabs

using Ctrl + Tab

Ctrl + Shift + Tab will let you go backwards

Then you can press Tab to go down through the settings

And press Shift + Tab to go up the settings

To change the value of each setting,

you can use the Home key for the minimum value,

and use the End key for the maximum value

Alternatively,

you can use Page down to decrease the value,

or Page up to increase the value.

If you want to change the value more accurately,

then use the arrow keys,

this will change the settings in smaller increments

These shortcuts also work for other windows

such as enscape materials and lights editor.

There we go, those are the 10 tips

to speed up your design and render in Enscape for Sketchup.

Leave a like if you enjoyed the video,

comment below if you have any questions.

Stay inspired guys, and I will see you, next time.

Taxi fares in Seoul to go up on Saturday - Duration: 2:13.

cab rides in Seoul will be more expensive starting Saturday its first

fare hike in half a decade reactions as you might expect have been quite

different from passengers and drivers he means Sun help us look beyond the

numbers the new fares take effect on Saturday at 4 a.m. the base fare is

going up almost 27% to 3800 won or about 3 US dollars and 40 cents it's the first

increase since October 2013 people in Korea have gotten used to taxis being

relatively cheap over the years so even though drivers have promised better

service some people are unhappy about the higher fares as a student this is a

huge increase it would be good if they improve their service there's no one to

check so it's hard to make sure that happens it seems rather sudden I'll take

public transportation more they've always talked about improving their

service but it's never really happened it might seem logical to expect better

service if they're paying more but drivers say even with the increase the

fares aren't very high it's still nothing compared to other countries if

passengers want better service then they should pay more regular taxi drivers

will do just as they've always done and keep refusing passengers when taxi fares

go up we lose passengers for a while but I will always try to provide better

service not just because the fare is risen the Seoul private taxi Association

has promised better service in exchange for the higher pay like keeping their

cars cleaner drivers not smoking in the car and putting more taxes on the

streets and night but many people aren't convinced they will the city government

says it will check up on their service and has already taken various mess

recently it penalized 22 taxi companies caught refusing passengers it also plans

to introduce taxes that are for women only

meanwhile the province of gyeonggi-do which surrounds the capital is also

looking at increasing its base fare for the first time in five years

Focus on Paul Pogba as Manchester United slip up against Paris St Germain - Duration: 3:21.

Fresh from his domestic double at the weekend, Paul Pogba looked to make his mark in the Champions League as Manchester United welcomed Paris St Germain to Old Trafford

The Frenchman took his haul under United interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to eight goals in 10 games to help the Red Devils move into the Premier League top-four courtesy of a 3-0 win at Fulham on Saturday

PSG proved a step up in quality on Tuesday night though and here, we assess Pogba's contribution in the first leg of this blockbuster last-16 encounter

Pogba has been given license to operate just behind the front three under Solskjaer, ostensibly from the left-hand side of a midfield that also contained Ander Herrera and Nemanja Matic on Tuesday night

The injuries to Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard towards the end of the first half necessitated a change in formation after the interval, with Pogba drifting further forward and into a central position, alongside substitutes Alexis Sanchez and Juan Mata in playing just behind frontman Marcus Rashford

The 25-year-old has enjoyed a renaissance since Solskjaer replaced Jose Mourinho in mid-December, but this was an acid test and arguably his biggest fixture in a United shirt since rejoining the club two-and-a-half years ago

He showed no lack of desire in getting to the ball, but it was noticeable that he was often being shadowed by Marquinhos whenever United were in possession, a clear sign of PSG head coach Thomas Tuchel attempting to shackle the World Cup winner

Marquinhos carried out the unenviable task of man-marking the energetic Pogba almost to perfection

The United man did manage to get away from the Brazilian midway through the first half and impressively breezed past PSG defender Presnel Kimpembe on the right touchline – but his cross was too near to veteran goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon

There were a couple of clever lay-offs that could have led to something more as the fixture wore on, but Marquinhos' presence meant Pogba was regularly starved of the space in which he regularly thrives

Pogba would have wanted to transfer his recent domestic brilliance on to the European stage, but he was kept largely on the periphery as PSG's class told in the end

The French heavyweights claimed a 2-0 win that leaves them in the driving seat heading to the second leg

To compound matters, Pogba was given his marching orders in the penultimate minute – handed his second yellow card of the night for a high challenge on Dani Alves, meaning he will miss the return leg at the Parc des Princes on March 6

Arsenal line up Ozil replacement, who is wanted by Man United - Duration: 2:23.

Arsenal boss Unai Emery is preparing to sign a replacement from the Bundesliga for Mesut

Ozil in the summer, according to a report. Arsenal's biggest earner Ozil has been

left on the fringes by Emery since his arrival in the summer and despite publicly claiming

Ozil has a future it's understood the Spanish coach is trying to offload the £350,000-a-week

midfielder. That will leave a hole in the Gunners squad

and Calciomercato report that Bayer Leverkusen playmaker Kai Havertz is on the radar of Emery.

Apparently the Gunners have been watching the 19-year-old, who has scored 11 goals and

claimed six assists in 28 appearances in all competitions this season, and are ready to

firm up their interest with a summer bid. The Italian source claim Havertz has been

playing just behind the forwards for Bayer and has drawn comparisons with Ozil himself,

but also Real Madrid star Toni Kroos, as a result of his incisive passing.

A report from 90min in April claimed that the Gunners dispatched scouts to watch Havertz

in action for Germany U19s during the international break last March.

Havertz became the youngest ever player to represent Bayer at senior level when he made

his debut aged 17, and also became the club's youngest ever scorer.

Reports last year suggested that Liverpool were closing in on a deal for the player, who

had supposedly already visited the club's Melwood training ground.

In October 2o17 Liverpool sent scouts to watch Havertz according to the Liverpool Echo, however

they weren't the only Premier League club in attendance.

Manchester United and Arsenal both sent representatives to monitor the player, who signed a new five-year

deal with Leverkusen in July 2017 and is under contract until 2022.

Up To Speed, February 15 - Duration: 2:57.

Up to speed, week in review.

Hey what's up everybody, we kicked off this week by talking about one of my favorite topics, 5G.

There's a new site out there called Let's 5G! That allows consumers to advocate to

their public officials to bring 5G to their communities. We caught up with Tami Erwin

and Ronan Dunne to learn more about Let's 5G!

So our Let's 5G platform is an opportunity for everyone, business owners, consumers,

individuals to get involved in bringing the next generation of technology to their location.

Creating & allowing customers to understand how they get engaged is a big deal for a

corporation. Because often times consumers & businesses don't know the right way to

make that connection. This is a broad based invitation for everybody to be part of that.

Next, we had a huge network win this week from RootMetrics, our 11th consecutive time

with them. Verizon placed top overall score, as well as wins in network reliability,

call performance, data performance, and speed. It was also one of our four big network wins,

and we're the only network to win in all four awards. But we know it's more than

the awards, it's all the hard work you the V Team put in that makes our customers

the winners. Now check this out.

Some may see awards as permission to brag.

Some may see them as just another addition to an already cluttered trophy case.

But we see awards as something different, something more.

We see the faces of thousands of dedicated professionals working

tirelessly to create something better.

We see the trust & faith we put in each other.

We see our Credo in action.

When we see these trophies, we see more than brass & wood.

We see the commitment we make to our customers every day.

Congratulations to all the teams & the people who made this possible.

And also earlier in the week, we hosted our MAKERS Black History Month Documentary

Screening. The event highlighted five influential black men and women who

made a difference in their communities, and included a great discussion hosted by

Karna Crawford and Harnet Tsehaye. The replay is available now on VZWeb and be sure to

join us on February 28th at 1pm eastern as we live stream our Black History Month webcast.

And finally today, Fios wants to know what your streaming habits have to say about

your personality. In a new social quiz, select your top three or more Netflix shows,

and you'll see what your shows say about you. Now you may be surprised, so don't be

scared after you take the quiz to share your results on Facebook. The Fios 100%

fiber-optic network means faster streaming for 100% of what you love.

If you plan on having a Netflix marathon this weekend, now is the time to check it out.

Hope you have a great weekend, that'll do it for us this week.

Until next time, you're up to speed.
