Which of these SEO proposals should I accept? - Duration: 4:54.This is John Locke, and today's question is coming to us from Reddit.
And the question goes like this, "We're a wedding cake business that serves our city,
and we have two SEO proposals that are on the table for us from two different companies.
Now the first SEO proposal is for a basic five-page site built in Wix, and a pay-per-click
campaign to follow.
The second proposal is for a site built on either Squarespace or WordPress with multiple
pages.
Several of these pages would target specific event venues in our city.
And this would be followed by a SEO campaign.
Which one should we choose?
To me, this answer is a slam dunk.
You want to go with the WordPress/Squarespace proposal followed by SEO.
And there are several reasons for this.
Now the first reason is, I'm not a big fan of Wix as a platform for your money site.
If you want to have a placeholder website until you get something better, or if you
want to do it yourself, until you can hire a professional firm , then Wix is a great
choice.
But, for an ongoing site that you're depending on to make money, Idon't like it.
There are a lot of code inefficiencies in the Wix platform that are going to make your
site slower than SquareSpace or WordPress.
Site speed is one of the things that is going to affect your user experience and your SEO.
For that reason alone, I'm going to say no to that.
The second reason is, if you are depending on pay-per-click instead of organic SEO as
the main driver of leads and for your main source of lead generation, you're never going
to be able to taper off of paying for those leads.
AdWords, where you pay for the Google ads at the top of the page?
That's great as a supplemental strategy.
But I wouldn't say that it's great for an ongoing strategy.
The reason being, if you invest in SEO, for the most part you're going to have long lasting
effects.
Especially if you're doing something like wedding cake business, you'll want to be tied
into different venues where people have had their weddings.
And by the way, look up my friend Sara Dunn, she has a site, SaraDoesSEO.com -- she can
help you out with a lot of wedding advice.
She's going to say the same thing.
You're going to want to target some of the venues themselves with SEO.
If you're relying on pay per click, it's like having a heroin fix, or a crack addiction.
You're always going to be dependent on it, and you're never going to get healthy.
With SEO, you are spreading it out across multiple pages, which will give you that much
more chance to rank.
If you only have five pages on your website, and you're relying on pay per click to drive
lead generation, you're paying for those leads, whether they convert or not.
Now SEO is going to cost more up front, but the effect s are going to be longer lasting.
And if you dial your SEO in, for your city, and become known as the wedding cake specialist,
then those pages should ran on their own and you won't be paying for every single lead
that comes to your website.
Now if you want to sprinkle on AdWords after that, and try and get the people that click
the very first thing they at the top of the page, then great.
But I wouldn't rely on that.
So, I hope that answers that question.

Denis Suarez: Which Arsenal shirt numbers are available after Barcelona agreement reached - Duration: 2:47.After a month-long pursuit, Arsenal have reportedly agreed a deal with Barcelona to sign Suarez on loan until the end of the season
Arsenal had wanted any deal for Suarez to include an option to sign the 25-year-old but Barcelona wanted it to be compulsory
Barcelona were also eager for Suarez to sign a new contract to protect his value
Multiple reports in Spain say the deal reached does not include a mandatory option to sign Suarez permanently
And Suarez is set to put pen to paper on a new deal. When the deal for Suarez is eventually completed, there are a few options available to him for shirt numbers
At Barcelona, Suarez wears the number six shirt but that is donned by Laurent Koscielny at the Emirates
The first number available to Suarez is the number three shirt. That was last worn by Kieran Gibbs before he joined West Brom in August 2017
The number 13 and 21 shirts are not in use this season but belong to David Ospina and Calum Chambers who are on loan at Napoli and Fulham respectively
It means the first most likely shirt for Suarez is number 22. That was last worn with great distinction by Yaya Sanogo
Other numbers available include the number 24, 28, 30, 32, and 33. Meanwhile, Spanish football expert Guillem Balague has revealed Gunners boss Unai Emery had a private chat with Suarez to convince him to make the move
Balague wrote on Twitter: "What #AFC get with D. Suarez is a hungry player, quality in the last pass and in quick transitions, personality to demand the ball
"He improved in his work rate without the ball. His main problem has been the lack of confidence of managers
"Unai rang him to tell him he trusts him."

Ghee vs Butter – Which Should You Use and Why - Duration: 1:41.Ghee vs Butter – Which Should You Use and Why
Ghee is a healthy dairy fat that's becoming increasingly popular.
But,
it's actually been around much longer than that –
for thousands of years
The fat is created from regular butter,
through a process that removes the water and milk solids
The end result is a type of clarified butter,
one that has many advantages in the kitchen
What's the Difference Between Butter and Ghee?
Ghee and butter are similar in many respects.
The biggest difference is that ghee is almost entirely butterfat.
Any other components are present in trace amounts only
In contrast,
butter contains additional compounds,
including milk solids and lactose
Both options can even be used in the same ways.
For example, you can spread ghee on your bread instead of butter
and you can use either when sautéing food
Because they're so similar,
ghee and butter offer most of the same health implications.
In fact,
the various health benefits of butter apply to ghee as well
You can choose either one (or both) to promote your health
Ghee may be more beneficial for some people,
due to the lack of lactose.
This may make it easier to digest, especially if you're lactose sensitive

Operation Ritz REVEALED: Secret plan which got Prince Charles and Camilla out of shadows - Today Ne - Duration: 3:27.Charles and Camilla, now the Duchess of Cornwall, stepped out of London's Ritz hotel on January 28 1999 as part of a secret plan to publically confirm their relationship
Operation Ritz marked the first time Charles and Camilla were photographed as an official couple and the carefully-planned move was masterminded by Charles's spin doctor, Mark Bolland
Meghan Markle has this ONE THING in common with Camilla - REVEALED REVEALED: Moment Prince Charles and Camilla CONFIRMED royal romance Until then, Charles and his former mistress had avoided being seen and photographed together in public
Camilla had been accused of being a marriage wrecker and the "other woman" following the breakdown of Charles's marriage to Princess Diana, who died in a car crash in 1997
However, Mr Bolland was working behind the scenes to win the public over. Operation Ritz saw Charles and Camilla leave the London hotel together shortly before midnight
Some 200 photographers, who had been tipped off by Mr Bolland, were ready to capture the milestone moment
The smiling couple walked down the steps of the hotel to their waiting car. And the plan was a success, with newspapers celebrating the couple going public with their relationship
The Daily Express's front page said: "It's official, we're a couple." Meghan Markle inspires Camilla as she uses SAME handbag on visit QUEEN CAMILLA: Charles faces constitutional FIGHT as Duchess' title
Since then, Camilla has been warmly welcomed into the royal fold. The Queen recognised Charles's relationship a year after Operation Ritz by attending a birthday lunch for King Constantine with Camilla present
Charles finally wed Camilla in April 2005 at the Guildhall in Windsor, decades after they first fell in love
When Charles takes to the throne, Camilla is set to become Queen Consort unless there is a change in the law
When they married, royal aides insisted Camilla would be known as Princess Consort when Charles takes to the throne
But references to Princess Consort were removed from Clarence House's webste last year
Royal author Robert Jobson - who broke the story that the couple were getting married in 2005 - said there is "no question" Camilla will become Queen Consort when Charles is king
And royal expert Dickie Arbiter said there is "no reason" why the public should not accept Camilla as Queen Consort
