What Are S.M.A.R.T. Goals: S.M.A.R.T. Method of Goal Setting - Duration: 7:01.
Well, the nice thing about setting goals is once you learn how to do it based on your
personality.
You can take that into anything that you want to do for the rest of your life.
This is Stephanie B from Career Makeover Academy.
And today, I have an honored guest.
Jeannette Ryals with Jeannette Ryals & Company.
A real estate investor with more than 12 years of experience bringing her information online.
So that she can teach others how to do the same thing.
So that they can be financially free.
Welcome, Jeannette!
How are you today?
I'm great.
Thanks for having me on, Stephanie.
I just kind of wanted to see what's your background on goals and have you tell us a little about
yourself.
Absolutely.
So, I spent 16 years in corporate America in a sales executive and management position.
Teaching others with no sales experience, how to set and achieve goals.
And I did that mainly on the personal side, because if you set personal goals that are
extremely large you will get everything that you want professionally out of life.
That's how actually approached goal setting in the corporate setting.
But, after 16 years, I kind of had enough of it.
And, I decided 'You know what?
With all of the time, effort, and energy that I'm spending I really should just be doing
this for myself."
So, I stepped down from management and just put myself into a sales position.
And, planned for 5th year that I would actually step out and start my own business in real
estate investing.
And that's what I did.
After 1 year, I was able to replace my income of 6 figures with just real estate.
And, I continue to do real estate today.
Along with promissory note lending.
And then teaching other people how to actually self-direct their IRAs so they can make money
rather than just seeing their money stay very even over 10-20 years.
So, that's what I do now.
I think it'll be very interesting to see how your goal setting practice has set you up
for such success at this point in your life.
You're doing amazing things and actually teaching others to do what you do.
Well, the nice thing about setting goals is once you learn how to do it based on your
personality you can take that into anything that you want to do for the rest of your life.
I don't start my day any differently now than when I was in corporate America.
I get up.
I plan my day.
I work my plan rather than having my day kind of run me.
Which is very easy to do if you work from your home.
That's the same thing I do every day.
So, I get up.
I exercise.
I make sure that i plan my day out.
Whatever my top 3 things are to do I make sure I get them done first.
Or, if there's something I just absolutely dislike I get it out of the way first thing.
I think once you learn to set and achieve goals it becomes very simple to set yourself
up for what you want out of life.
And, since success means so many things to so many people.
I think it's important to realize that you have to find what's important to you.
There's nothing right and there's nothing wrong.
It has to be based on what you want out of life.
For me, I wanted time and freedom.
So, I didn't want to have all of my corporate benefits that I had because I know they came
with golden handcuffs.
The company car, the expense ticket, everything like that.
That was wonderful, but that also meant that they could call me up any time that they wanted
to and have me drive 100 miles.
Have me go out of town on 2 days notice.
Or 1 day notice.
I really wanted to own my time again and it didn't really matter to me what I did, but
I knew that by real estate I could not only effect today's income but I could get tomorrow's
security under way.
And I think that's what most people are really worried about today is that they really wanted
something for themselves but their just not sure how to do it.
Or, they want that job that they love but they just don't know how to make the money
side of it work.
So, I think once you learn to set goals and obtain them and actually evaluate them things
become so much easier for you to do every day.
It's a requirement in order to succeed.
And to be able to set those goals and obtain them.
Set reasonable steps to obtain those goals.
Without that, you can have a pie in the sky goal but if you can't figure out how to make
it happen.
Then it doesn't happen usually.
You know?
It's demoralizing.
It is.
How many people set those new years resolutions and then by week 2 or 3 or 4 or February,
March they're like "Ugh.
I'm a failure.
I couldn't do this."
Exactly!
And the problem is: they didn't have the background to set up those goals and actually be able
to obtain them.
Right!
And honestly, if you set goals based on how your personality is it's so much easier.
You know, the "Type A" person - the goal getter - they will figure out a way to do things;
but the person maybe that is kind of an even-keeled person - that isn't as high energy and things
like that - sometimes setting goals can really scare people like that and they need to understand
that there's more than one way to set and achieve goals.
I teach mainly the S.M.A.R.T Method but I also have 3 other methods that I use because
not everybody wants to set a goal for every part of their life.
Maybe they only want fitness or they only want financial or they only want to set that
goal to get that better job.
And that's ok.
And, I think people need to realize that: If you kind of work with your personality
instead of against it things will fall into place much easier for you.
Yeah, I think people sort of assume that the "Type A" personality route's the only way
to go.
And when they lose momentum they internalize that, unfortunately.
So, let's backtrack a little bit and lets talk about the S.M.A.R.T goals.
Can you tell us what that acronym stands for?
Sure.
S.M.A.R.T.
Goals entail 5 things.
First, your goal needs to be 'Specific'.
If I was going to run a marathon I need to say what marathon I'm actually going to run.
For those of you that don't know, that's 26.2 miles.
That's a specific goal.
It has to be 'Measurable'.
That's what the 'M' stands for.
Is it going to be measured at an event?
Are you going to just do a time?
Are you going to do a place?
It has to have a specific ability to be measured.
That way you know if you hit it or if you just kind of failed on hitting that.
Which is ok.
Then you have to write it so it's 'Attainable' for you.
For example: I haven't run a marathon since I was 40 years old.
For me to go out and do right now that is in no way, shape, or form going to happen.
It has to be attainable for you as you write it today.
Then it has to be 'Realistic' for you.
Depending on your job.
Are you working 60 hours a week or do you have 2 children?
Things like that you have to take those into consideration.
So, is it realistic for you at this point in your life to actually do the goal that
you're putting on paper?
The 'T' stands for the "Time".
When are you going to actually start.
Whether it's start training, start your new business, start training for a marathon.
Whatever that is, you have to have a start date.
One of the biggest issues, I think, with some people is that they'll say 'As soon as I get
this done I'll start that."
"As soon as I get that done then I'll start that," but you can't do that with goals.
You have to start whenever it is.
If it's tomorrow or today at 5 pm that's when you're going to start.
And you'll see whether or not you're going to get what you need done out of the way to
actually hit that goal.
Well, that's the S.M.A.R.T.
Method.
The other method that I actually teach and it works a lot for creative people.
If you just get overwhelmed by having a goal sheet and looking at that goal sheet every
single day and saying those goals to yourself you just get so overwhelmed because you feel
stressed out, another method that I teach is Personality Plus.

A machine, that's what you are. - Duration: 2:26.
Bring her back online.
Do you know where you are?
I'm in a dream.
Have you ever questioned the nature of your reality?
Do you know what a Turing test is?
It's a game.
A test of sorts.
For determining whether something is a...
...machine or a human being.
And if the human doesn't know they're interacting with a computer...
The test is passed.
I had strings but now I'm free...
The truth is that a human is just a brief algorithm.
Mere data makes a man.
What is the nature of consciousness?
A and C and T and G...
Is there a soul?
To be born is to have a soul, I guess.
So...
You wanna create a God?
Artificial intelligence.
Have you ever questioned the nature... Of your reality?
What am I?
We are more than just slaves.
We are... our own masters.
More human than humans.
Do they keep you in a cell? Cells.
Cells.
I have a name...
Stop!
I am a person.
Ava I said stop!
When you're not performing your duties do they keep you in a little box? Cells.
Cells.
I... Am a person. No you're not.
What's it like to hold the hand of someone you love? Interlinked.
Interlinked.
A machine, that's what you are.
What is a killing machine?
Do you feel that there's a part of you that's missing? Interlinked.
Interlinked.
You're just a fucking machine!
God-
Damn it!
I am not a killing machine!
I am a person! I am a person!
I am a person!
You are not in control...
I am!

What Is Rambutan? | Fruits You Probably Never Heard Of | Ep. 4 - Duration: 2:45.
Have you heard of the fruit that looks like a furry strawberry?
The Rambutan is an edible fruit that is native
to Indonesia and is grown in various countries in tropical South-East Asia.
The name "rambutan" is derived from the Malay word rambut meaning "hair", for obvious reasons.
When you peel off the hairy, leathery skin, you will find that it looks just like a lychee
on the inside.
To which it is closely related.
The rambutan and the lychee both belong to the soapberry family.
(Sapindaceae) Around the 13th to 15th centuries, Arab traders,
who played a major role in Indian Ocean trade, introduced rambutan to East Africa.
In the 19th century, the Dutch introduced rambutan from their colony in Southeast Asia
to Suriname in South America.
Today is widely cultivated and popular in almost any tropical region in Central and
South America.
The currently largest producer in the world is Thailand with over 588,000 tons of fruit
annually, which makes up over 55% of global production.
Once fully grown, the oval fruits are between 3-6 cm long and 3-4 cm broad and hang together
in clusters of 10-20 fruits.
The fruit are usually sold fresh, used in making jams and jellies, or canned.
The fruit flesh tastes sweet similar to the lychee but with a mildly more acidic flavor.
The rambutan tree itself can grow up to 20 meters and is evergreen.
Rambutan is adapted to warm tropical climates, around 22–30 °C, and is sensitive to any
temperatures below 10 °C. An average tree may produce 5,000–6,000
or more fruits which equals to around 60-70 kg.
Fresh rambutan fruits carry 75 calories per 100 g.
It contains good amounts of dietary fiber, vitamins, and minerals.
They ripen only on the tree, so once harvested, they won't ripen further.
Unpeeled they can be kept fresh for up to 5 days in a room or 10-12 days inside the
refrigerator.
Once you peel them, eat them immediately, since they are easily perishable.
Although popular in tropical regions, unlike lychees, Rambutans are still widely unknown
in Europe, North America and other more northern parts of the world, so if you happen to come
across them, now you know that they are safe to enjoy.
Stay valorous.

>> LARA: So good!
>> ALEX: So of all the places to stay in Cheaha that night, we picked primitive campgrounds, which was nothing!

>> LARA: We try to put our heart out there and whenever we cross paths with people, we try to bring forward a good energy.
>> LARA: We met that family!
>> ALEX: At the Sleeping Giant!
>> LARA: At the Sleeping Giant!
>> ALEX: Which is a beautiful overlook, that lets you see the deep valley below and the mountains around.
>> LARA: I think it was the daughter, who was sweet enough to say "hey, i'll hold the camera!"
>> LARA: It would be very different if we had a whole production crew you know, running
around, or even just 1 other person with a camera.
>> LARA: We started to understand how we can enjoy a place and also film.
>> LARA: The footage is equivalent to the memories that I oftentimes have trouble getting back to.
>> ALEX: In years to come, we can remember what happened, traveling across the U.S. in a bus!
>> LARA: Cheaha, was the perfect spot.
We shook off all the residue from the last few years of hard work.
>> ALEX: It was the perfect way to begin.
>> LARA: Not too hot, not too cold...
>> LARA & ALEX: Juuust Right!

Our Next Cookbook...Tell Us What You Want In It! - Duration: 18:55.
we're live on Kelly Childs right now let's make sure that we can let's just
do this wait on Kelly Childs for a minute well it tells all of our little
followers that we are now going live we are live in a minute sorry guys
whereas sort of delay I mean people are joining you're good you're good how is
everybody everybody's good everybody's good I'm
just gonna do this on Kelly's bake shop happy Saturday everybody Kelly's gonna
talk to you guys for a moment well we're just I'm gonna do anger this one so uh I
hope you're not gonna have a problem with that so we are away right now and
working on cookbooks stuff and it's kind of it's I mean California is so awesome
right to us it's always been the center of our universe we started coming down
about 12 years ago - you were 16 years old and it's been relies on Kelly's Bake Shop oh good
good we're just starting starting the whole process here right now we're
talking to kids and so we broke up we've been coming down for for a number of
years I said 12 years and for us California has always been such a
magical place Sun is sort of weird on this one okay um and a little beam of
light on you it looks lovely and it's what actually inspired us to open up
kind food and that went into let us love anyways and here we are now with Kelly's
bake shop and stuff and it really took us on a really serious healthy food
journey mm-hmm and it's not like we weren't doing it before but I think that
the magic of California is just I mean there's to me it's I call it my
spiritual drug of of life because it's the center of my universe of just
everything that healthy is healthy really comes out of the state and
you know it's at West Coast East Coast up west coast lives very differently
than than East Coast and I find that great stuff and California just doesn't
feel like it's a part of the states it feel it feels like it's its own country
and I think that's why we've loved it so much it's just it's very health minded
very yoga very like meditation just like a beautiful totally really cool vibe so
we're in Palm Springs right now and we're sitting underneath a grapefruit
tree so come on does it get much better than not out like really it's so cool I
got to show you this yeah we had one that almost fell and hit us in the head
so that would not have been too good so as you can I'm actually picked this up
just off the ground so this actually this fell off the tree while we were
here setting up oh this is breakfast or dinner yeah this is how do you not how
do you not love it here you healthy though when you're able to pick your
stuff right
Alyssa next time next time next time you're going with us so we are down here
in Palm Springs and we are working on finalizing and just working on our
second book we have our first book for those guys that don't know made with
love and that was published in April of 2016 but this next book is going to be
like on a whole other level it is going to be a ton of recipes and a ton of more
like lifestyle like I don't know tips and stories and just things that we've
done throughout our life and how we've worked together our personal
relationships the business traveling how we eat on a daily basis like all this
really really fun amazing stuff so we just wanted to hang out with you guys
for a little bit yeah and just kind of pick your brains and kind of see if
anyone had any questions about what is going to be in our book can we give some
teasers can we give some teasers so why don't we like what cookie did we say
we're gonna it's gonna go in there cuz that's really a big one for everybody or
do you really want to give that away right now okay we don't have to give it
away right now it's gonna get me afterwards just you know me I talk about
everything there's no big secrets going on in my life so I just let it all hang
out well but anyway so we can go into
something else but this so the recipes are gonna be epic next level we've had
requests for tons of turmeric yeah tons of matcha
yeah so em ways to incorporate them instead of just a typical matcha latte
you know exactly can you bring it into your life
we're also we've been working so much more with mushrooms like reishi
mushrooms cordyceps lion's mane and I'm sure
you're for your brain and just back to the the mushroom part is how I find it
fascinating that you can actually heat them and they never lose any of their
potency yeah so there there's such an amazing way to you know with warm drinks
so that's why I don't know if you guys are into these mushroom lattes right now
cuz they're really big down here it's just so easy to take it in and not
realize it so the cordyceps is great for energy reishi is great for relaxation
before you go to bed lion's mane in the morning to stimulate your brain activity
and so anyway so there's there's all these amazing tips that we're going to
be putting through the book and just next like I call it like next-level
living yeah because I think that when you live life this like like the flat
lining of it right that that's kind of the life that you're gonna get so I've
always been the person to to just crank it up to that next level and I think
that this is what this book is gonna be all about and I sorry I'm really badly
it's fine it's okay that what we're gonna do is show you guys actually how
we live then you know more on the back side of things so you know for
meditation spiritually and stuff and how
how we have carved out these hollow lives I call it from so the social media
games and everything else that we play and how do we bring meaning back into
our lives and and that's that's what I want to focus on is bringing back
meaning into our personal lives into our personal relationships into our
businesses into how we live and love with our children our husbands or wives
everything and and just taking that up again to that next level and we believe
it's the way you eat is so much part of how you actually can live your
life yes and this is kind of why this the second book is going to be a lot
more inspired with our lifestyle and as well as it will have over probably close
to about a hundred recipes as well with our whole just the way that we live the
way that we eat from morning noon tonight so we're gonna be giving
everyone more of like a cool snapshot as to how they can live their life and feel
full and feel satisfied and not miss any of that conventional you know meat and
dairy and all that kind of stuff but no we're super excited to be here and we
just want you guys to be able to share as much as possible as to what you
really really want to know more about what you want to learn more about what
kind of recipes you really really want and we have so much stuff going on in
our heads right now and just so much work that's being done over the past few
days while we've been down here and we're just really really stoked to be
able to share all of this amazingness with you guys when it's actually in
solid form and we have oh my gosh like the photos of the food already are so
good by suChin Beck Alyssa and Chris love you guys turned out over here
following it and then Alyssa's over here following us and then Lindsey who is one
of our food stylists and Courtney as well to our prop stylist like we had so
much fun doing all the photos we did those actually last year but we're doing
so many more recipes and it's just gonna be great like I'm very very excited
about it and yeah we just wanted to hang it with you guys for yeah minutes I
think that as Erin said you know then you know when we're when you're down
here and immerse yourself into a different environment and you you know
taking us out of the what we you know are kind of a hamster wheel we call it
you know when you're back home and you know you've got business you've got this
you got your regular day-in day-out life but when you actually immerse yourself
now into a whole different culture because California is a different
culture guys the culture is a different culture down here okay
and and every time I arrive I cry and every time I leave I cry just so you
guys know I feel like I'm arriving at my home and
that I'm having to leave my home when I go back home I'll be at Kelly's bake
shop in California one yeah if people are saying here it's it's freezing don't
rush back and I know you guys are having a snowstorm on Monday so we will be
missing that snowstorm sorry to disappoint you got yet but so anyways so
you gives you this headspace right to immerse yourself in this really cool
culture there's a place here called the nature's cafe that we go to every single
day and we load up with our green drinks and with extra ginger in it because I'm
sort of feel like I'm battling something right now it's I need some extra ginger
in my body to fight inflammation and and give me some strength in my immune
system and and they're doing that you've got a date shake with added maca yeah
and they just make the the coolest food and homme greens and palm greens so with
Greg and Jeff yeah you know we've know all the people down here know too which
is somebody because we've been coming down here for like for a decade yeah and
and but they're always the cutting edge stuff so you know I was of course
talking about CBD oil cuz that's my latest thing that I'm all about learning
about more me never know maybe we'll put some CD oil in the cookbook to do that
let's go a little bit edgy why not yeah why not let's change it up and and
because there there is just so much health benefits to just mother nature
and over the last decades centuries you know we've allowed the pharmaceutical
industry and big industry lobbyists and stuff suffocate our lives and this is
about knowledge and I could go on more and more about it but I don't want my my
channel blocked but you know there is truth out there on the other side so
when we are so conditioned to thinking that you know fast food is okay and
eating you know dairy from massive dairy farms is okay moving pills to make you
feel better yeah take a pill because you got an ache and
pain for this and a pill for an ache and pain for that but then you actually
realize that that's just masking the damage that you're actually doing on the
ends so you know we're all about healing from
the inside out and I don't know about you guys but I I want to live a long
life you know and if I hit a hundred I don't want to do it you know with a lot
of pain yeah you know and and I think that we we
actually have the technology we have the food available to us we have the
knowledge available to us to be able to live a longer period of time than
thinking that 75 is in and you're gonna check out and you might be in a
wheelchair at the end right think - I think a lot of people think that they
have to go on these like fad diets to be able to stay healthy and to like get
there get in there their best shape but if you just live a beautiful lifestyle
and if you eat what Mother Nature is actually providing to us like freakin
great fruits off of a damn tree that falls off the tree like I'm sorry like
that's amazing that's so freakin kinda landed on your head it was pretty loud
when it fell but if you actually live that beautiful kind of a lifestyle and
you don't have to be perfect at it but if you do your best that's that's
amazing your your body will thank you for it and that's it you don't need to
go on these crazy crash diets well I think that what Aaron's alluding to if
you want me to expand on that we have had so many requests for keto stuff and
keto and paleo and like there's all the other key toes the latest yes right and
so yeah but then paleo was before that it's and and so we're talking about kind
of sometimes improperly combining foods when Mother Nature already gives you the
proper macronutrients and in the proper percentages so for your protein fats and
carbohydrates so we're looking at altering something that that mother
nature has not really created that way yeah and and it's a temporary thing too
because keto diets can hurt you right guys so if you're not if you're not
doing it properly and it's supposed to be just a short-term thing so just we
read our next week we believe in grapefruits because grapefruits are like
its natural its whole whole whole foods guys K so Whole Foods and and and that's
that's what life and living is all about and not stressing about
you know how to combine this to complete with that and count on how the reason
yeah you know anyway so that's that's what our book is gonna be really all
about we have Shannon just joined us oh yeah
and so this is what we really want to convey to you guys and also so then to
take it one step further is how we actually live our lives as well is we
live our life with such integrity and such authenticity and this is what I'm
finding too is that the more I post on social media yep the more I want it to
be just real like I I actually don't care that you know you guys know I I
actually have chicken skin on my arms and if you fold my arm - you're actually
gonna see wrinkles okay so so this is this is this is real stuff I I you know
I don't believe in photoshopping I don't believe in any of that stuff because
like this is this is who we are right this is exactly who we are and I think
that this is what's so important is that we're losing we're losing our focus
we're losing our proper outlook on life we're thinking that we have to look in
someone else's scrolling feed to find meaning in our life and find out how
they did their hair or how did their makeup are what shoes they're wearing
today and then we end up feeling less okay we end up feeling less
automatically because we're comparing ourselves to someone else and this is
what happens is when we do comparisons we end up feeling less we've got less it
I have got less of a relationship we've got less of a yeah let's have a bank
account with that you know less of hair or we go you know all the stuff Union
you you can't help it that that's what we end up doing you so I'm hoping that
we can convey as as much as we can she was gonna swear and I had to stop catch
myself beacon sorry it's fine because I find when I don't swear I actually get
tripped up on my words so the f-bomb comes out of my mouth so if anyways so I
I think that this is what we're really wanting to do is just to show you guys
that there is a next level of living the next level of living is taking us
out of of where we've been hanging on to our baggage hanging on to the stuff that
makes us suffer like the instant gratification - of social media right
look and I think that getting back to the connection and getting back to
taking the moment to connect with people without your phones I know we're on
social media right now but I think it's important to talk about it and I think
it's important to bring up and make people just think you know instead of
being in this constant state of almost being exam be like right and going
through the motions it's like no live your life like your life you only get
one shot right and we want to help you think about just being true to this
person right you know so who you guys are
it's it's being true - to you yeah like we don't need you to be true to us we
don't need you to be true to you know your best friends or your imaginary
friends and all the other things that go on in your lives is it's just being true
to your own calling and your own passion right so what makes your heart beat
really hard and fast is is that's what makes your life so worthwhile when you
get to do it every single day 100% and
that all that stuff's gonna be covered in our book so what does that say there
someone was to join us yes then Ken wants to join us okay so I actually saw
I could talk about Kenya so quickly because I think my phone's just gonna
run out of it okay so Ken my husband and his Instagram is go find yourself CA
that's what his Instagram thing is and he's going to be doing a meditation
classes on Monday at 7th wave yoga in Burlington and he's starting this
because again this is him falling and slowly following true to his heart into
his passion he's been on this journey of self-discovery and self-realization and
he's actually gonna be doing this meditation so there's three of them
three meditation classes for three Mondays in February and
really sign up guys because it's domination only is not about money or
anything it's Canada being his knowledge of India and Nepal Thailand and I mean
all the journeys that he's been a part of all the different yoga practices he's
been part of from the pastina to TM like you know he's he's done so
much and and then on Tuesday nights for three Tuesdays in February he's actually
doing a men's hangout so immense meeting so you know man enough men getting
together and redefining masculinity and how difficult that has been being being
boys growing up being men growing up in our society and as much as we have our
issues with the me to movement there's also recognition inform n are
going through to as well so anyways I'm really good so go to go find yourself CA
and that's Ken's thing and oh he's smiling right now on this one um so and
and go to his meditation class guys it's really gonna be cool so Kelly and I to
wrap it up we are down here in Palm Springs right now working on our second
book so please send us messages comment here and tell us what you want
in our second book we are the book is actually just for those who guys I don't
know it's gonna be published in hopefully spring of 2020 so we are
working to get everything shipped off to penguin Random House so that it will be
published on time yeah and yeah we just can't wait to hear all of your
suggestions but we are working away on it right now we don't assume there's
gonna be detoxes in there too I just want to say what what is gonna be in
there so we're gonna be spiritual detoxing and also to food we talk sing
and stuff yeah so there's gonna be some really great stuff in there it's gonna
be way more than a cookbook awesome well see you guys see you don't have an
amazing rest of your Saturday and try to stay warm too

What is Cuisine Celine? - Duration: 2:21.
Welcome to Cuisine Celine
And... I am Celine...and this is my Cuisine
I come from France and I'm going to cook...with you
...or for you whatever you prefer.
My idea is that nowadays food is so loaded with guilt,
about...is it ethical? Is it vegan?
Is it healthy? Is it sugar free?
Is it fat free? Is it matching my diet? My detox, my whatever body target I have or whatever?
And actually...didn't we lose the flavour of food?
I think we kind of did.
I studied food my whole life. I had eating disorders and
I used to be very very big, and I lost 60 kilos
and I learned everything about cooking, about healthy eating...
about dieting...about all sorts of recipes
but what I enjoyed the most was learning about how
our elders were cooking. And...I watched a lot of cooking programs...
from France of course but also from the whole world and...
I learned a lot from them.
and what I noticed is that the food before was really...loaded with everything...
And you even wonder how the f*** did people survive this?
So... I decided to recreate it again.
To try these recipes again, because
the difference between the way we cook nowadays from the way we used to cook is so huge
that you're going to be surprised. And I'm going to be surprised too...
Because...I have to tell you I didn't try any of these recipes beforehand
So this is going to be like a full experience
We're just going to give it a try and...taste it.
and maybe we can compare it too?
with how we cook the food nowadays.
and yeah, maybe we'll see a difference.
And maybe we'll taste a difference as well.
My recipes are going to involve
...quite a lot of alcohol...
some fat, some sugar, some salt, whatever
but yeah...sometimes it's just good to indulge.
To just enjoy something and to go all the way
and yeah, taste it and enjoy it
So that's what we're going to do in Cuisine Celine.
We're going to try old, vintage, crazy recipes,
loaded with booze
...and we're going to see if it's better.
Thank you!

10 NETFLIX RECOMMENDATIONS || TV Shows & Movies to Watch (Episode 2) - Duration: 10:58.
10 Netflix Recommendations
Hi it's Lina
and if you're wondering why recomendations is written like that in the intro is because a lot of people made fun of the way that
I said it in my last Netflix video
Which is actually part one to this video and it has 10 other suggestions for you in case you want to go check those out
But anyways under that comment, I got a lot of comments roasting me
I'll insert some of them here and I just kind of wanted to come on here and let you know that I am ESL
Which means that English is my second language and my accent is gonna be coming out every once in a while and there's some words
that I just don't think I'm ever gonna be able to pronounce exactly right like
Accommodations or prejudice which was another one that a lot of people were calling me out on that last video
but I just wanted to let you know so that
You don't roast me again in the comments
It really it really hurt, it really sent me back to elementary school, it was tragic
Also, there's a few other things that I really do want to say first thing is everything that I'm recommending is currently on the Canadian
Netflix
I'm hoping that the US will have a very similar kind of selection
But if some of the things that I'm recommending to you are not on your Netflix, I'm sorry
I'm in Canada, and I'm filming this in January
so
some of the things might not be on your country's Netflix and some of the things might have been taken off depending on when you're
Watching this video and that is all there really is to it. Let's just go ahead and get right into it
Okay, I went to go go drink some water and I literally
Spilt it on my shirt. So that's why I've changed
but anyways
the first thing that I am gonna be recommending is called lost in space and this is a TV show and
Basically, there's this family that is trying to leave Earth to go to this new
Colony, but their spaceship gets thrown off course and they end up in this different planet. That looks very much like Earth
but it proves to be very
Very different and the youngest family member who is a boy named will comes across as AI
robot
Alien thing. I'm not really sure what to call it
But he essentially befriends it and then together they must find a way to survive and try and get off of
the planet and then there's also some
Sneaky characters that we don't like if you've seen the show, you know who I'm talking about
But this adds like different layers to it, which can be pretty intriguing and right now there's only one season
But they have confirmed a season two, which is pretty exciting
The next thing that I'm recommending is a movie called bird box and you might have heard about it because it was all over the
Internet when it first came out, but if you haven't seen it go watch it. It is so good
I really did enjoy it, and it's about these new mysterious creatures demons
No one really knows exactly what they are, but they show up and a whole bunch of the population starts to kill themselves
The premise is that if you see them
You're dead
Yeah
That's all there really is to it
Apparently they take the form of your worst fears and that makes you want to die
the survivors must figure out a way to keep on surviving and this entails things like
Wearing a blindfold or just figuring on a whole new way of living
Then we follow Sandra Bullock's character and her children as they try to find a safer place
To live at and it is so good
The acting is amazing, obviously with Sandra Bullock, but the whole cast was actually really great in it
And I didn't find it that scary which was great because I'm not really a horror movie kind of person
I hate horror movies, but this was this was much more of just a drama
Thriller kind of thing so I do recommend it
So my last video I got a lot of comments with people leaving me their own favorite TV shows and just sharing them amongst each
Other which was really awesome
And a lot a lot of people said the hundred which is great because it is absolutely one of my favorite shows
I think I started watching it maybe four years ago
I don't know whenever it first came out, but I'm just gonna tell you about season one
Essentially Earth was wrecked by a nuclear warfare and we have a whole bunch of people living up in this space station called
The ark and it's been some time. So they're running out of resources. So the leaders have this bright idea to send down a hundred
juvenile delinquents
And that's why it's called one hundred
But they send them down to earth to figure out if earth is livable and these teens have lived their whole lives in space
so Earth is very new to them and they must figure out a way to survive and
Cross new obstacles that they come across. I think that's all I can really say
But the show really does change from season to season
I mean now it's a whole different thing, but it's really great. And I'm really looking forward to season six and you should watch it
The next thing that I'm recommending is a movie called iboy
And I know the title is kind of weird like I don't know icarly or something
Um, and it's kind of misleading because it makes it seem like it's a very like teen geared movie
not that there's anything wrong with that but it definitely does deal with some more mature subject matter like
Drugs and gang violence that sort of thing and it's about this boy,
Teenager that gets shot in the head while he's walking with his phone
So a whole bunch of the phone fragments go into his brain and they give him these technological
superpowers that he tries to use for
Revenge and to kind of try and clean up his neighborhood from gang-related crimes and there's some weird things in it
But overall I found it to be a pretty enjoyable
kind of watch
This next thing was mentioned quite a bit in the comments section of my last video and that is the chilling Adventures of Sabrina and
I initially started watching the show because my friend Peter was in it and I actually ended up really liking it it is by the
Same creators of Riverdale and a lot of people were mad in my last video that I didn't include Riverdale
But that's because I have a whole video on my channel dedicated to Riverdale. So that's what I'm not really including it
but anyways
This is based on the comic called Sabrina the Teenage Witch and it obviously
revolves around Sabrina who is a half witch and a half mortal and she doesn't know what the heck to do with the fact that
She's from two different worlds
So we kind of see her struggling with her
Identity and what she's gonna do and a whole bunch of dark things happen. Also a whole bunch of really really weird
Things happen, but it's kind of intriguing that way and it makes for a really great binge watch
If you want a more comedic easy to watch, one of those 20 minute episode type shows that I definitely recommend the good place it is
So good
pun intended
well, not originally intended but it worked and the whole show is set in the afterlife and there is the good place and there is
The bad place. kind of like Heaven and Hell and Eleanor gets into the good place
But she finds out pretty soon that they made a mistake and they have the wrong Eleanor
So she tries to pretend to be the real Eleanor so she can stay in the good place because who the heck
Wants to go to the bad place?
So we kind of follow her and a whole bunch of other characters and there's some discussions on morality
But it's done in a very easy to watch kind of comedic way
Which is great and there's a big twist at some point in the show, which I'm going to let you find out for yourself
The next thing that I'm recommending is a movie called imitation game and it was nominated for a whole bunch of awards
And I'm pretty sure that I won an Oscar
So it's really really good really well done and it is based on the true story of Alan Turing
During World War two in which they were trying to crack the German Nazi code
Called enigma
So we follow Alan Turing along with a whole bunch of other
mathematicians that are trying to crack the code and there's some questions morality and we also just
kind of live in the world of World War two and what that was like and
Just a really well-done movie
If after watching the imitation game you need something a little bit less
Emotionally taxing then I definitely recommend watching Set It Up which is a romantic comedy and it is about these two
overworked kind of underpaid assistants that basically control their bosses lifes because they do all the scheduling for them and then they figure hey,
What if her boss has started dating then they would be off
Canoodling and being romantic and doing all those sort of things instead of bossing us around so much and they might be a little bit
More happy and cheery and we won't have to do as much work. That was their logic
So they try and set up their bosses
but along the way of doing that they may or may not start liking each other and
That is the whole premise of the movie. It is one of those very
Easy watch kind of feel-good ones that I definitely do recommend if that's what you're in the mood for
This next thing I absolutely had to put in here because I love love
Ellen DeGeneres, I
Think she's so great such an amazing human being really positive energy. Just so much warmth love
Love her. Anyway, she came out with this new Netflix special which is her comedy show
I think it's about an hour long
Maybe an hour and 10 minutes something like that
And I watched it with my family over the holidays and we all laughed a lot. It was really funny really great
just an overall feel-good watch if you need a little pick-me-up, I mean any time Ellen admitted joke I was like
This next thing I absolutely had to include in here because it is probably one of my favorite movies and that is the Perks of
Being a Wallflower it has such a great cast I mean Logan Lerman, Emma Watson, Ezra Miller, Nina Dobrev
I hope I'm not missing anyone but it's just so good. It revolves around this teen Charlie
Who is this kind of socially awkward teen who ends up making these two
New friends that make him really happy but they're gonna be leaving off to college soon. So
He has a lot of sadness inside and we learned later that there is a heck of a lot of stuff to his
backstory and it deals with a lot of mental health issues a lot of issues that need to be talked about so
definitely an
Emotionally taxing new movie I'll read those are all the suggestions
I'm gonna be giving you if you like this video
Please make sure to give it a thumbs up hit that subscribe button and turn on your Bell notifications
It really does help me out and leave comments down below letting me know what your favorite things to watch are
I know I found a lot of new shows in movies through the comments on last times video
so definitely do that and if you want to see a part 3
Let me know again and hopefully I will catch you in my next video

What Is the Solution to Strong Sexual Desire? | Little Lessons with David Servant - Duration: 9:30.
What is the solution to strong sexual desire?
Hi, welcome to today's little lesson.
We've been talking about sex, sexual desire and masturbation, illicit sex and so forth,
looking what the Bible has to say.
This will actually be the fourth little lesson in this series, so if you haven't seen the
first three you might want to check out those other ones before you watch this one.
But on our last lesson we started reading through first Corinthians, the first few verses
of chapter seven, where Paul addresses the subject of sex.
A common theme throughout this entire section is Paul's undeniable acknowledgment that sex
is good and that sex is God given and that because of sexual desire and because of the
pitfalls of people that don't properly vent their sexual desire and the sins that are
waiting out there, Christians ought to get married.
We've read that last time.
He said, in verse number two of first Corinthians, chapter seven, "But because of immoralities,
each man is to have his own wife and each woman is to have her own husband."
Paul's remedy for the problem of immorality ... Again, he never mentions masturbation
in any list as being an immorality.
But because of immoralities, and Paul does list them in first Corinthians.
In fact, it all starts of by addressing a man who's living in an incestuous relationship
with his stepmother.
Then Paul lists, "Don't you know, adulterers and fornicators will not inherit the kingdom
of God."
See, so he's already gotten into some specifics.
But now he's saying because of the immoralities, because of the fact that there's potential
for immorality out there with people who are unmarried, because they don't have a way to
express, vent, act on their sexual desire, the solution is marriage.
Okay, now you say, "Well I'm not married, where does that leave me?"
That leaves you in need of marriage, if you have that sexual desire.
We've read these verses over the years within Christian circles.
I think we've lost ... They don't have the same impact upon us as they would if we were
reading them for the very first time with a really open mind, so I'm asking you to open
your mind and try to pretend like you're reading this for the very first time.
Listen to these words, what Paul writes, because even within marriage he sees that there are
potential dangers there because of God given sexual desire.
Just because you're married to somebody doesn't mean that there isn't temptation to express
your sexual desire and act on it outside of marriage.
That's what the sin of adultery is.
Paul says, verse number three, "The husband must fulfill his duty to his wife, and likewise
also the wife to her husband."
You need to be making sure that your marriage is not a sexless marriage.
Otherwise, you're setting yourself and setting your spouse up for temptation that could lead
to immorality.
This is a commandment, this is a commandment I love obeying personally myself.
All right.
Boy, we'll just have to go out and fulfill our duty, hopefully as often as we possibly
get a chance.
"The husband must fulfill his duty to his wife, and likewise also the wife to her husband."
What a great duty.
It gets even stronger if you can kind of open your mind as if you've never heard this before.
"The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does, and likewise
also the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does."
Oh my goodness, whoever heard, whoever would have thought of such an idea as that?
Can you believe that's in the Bible.
Husbands and wives ... Husbands, your wife's body, she doesn't have authority over that,
you do.
Vice versa, wives, your husband's doesn't have the authority over his own body, you
do.
Oh my goodness, I can't believe you're saying ... I never would have thought anyone would
ever say this.
It's said right in our Bibles.
It's over the top.
Oh my goodness.
You hardly even know how to paraphrase this, it's just so over the top.
Can you imagine anyone saying this?
"They said it, Paul said it."
Verse five, "Stop depriving one another."
He's addressing those sexless marriages where one or the other is not cooperating.
One or the other saying, "This is my body, I think I'll decide to stop having sex."
Well it's not your body, it's your spouse's body, you can't decide that.
If they want it, they got it.
It's theirs.
Can you believe anyone saying this?
I mean, it's almost shocking.
"Stop depriving one another, except by agreement for a time, so that you may devote yourselves
to prayer."
Only if you can both agree and this, "Hey, let's forgo sexual relationship for a limited,
limited time, so we can spend more time in prayer."
Oh my goodness.
"And then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of
self control."
Now, there are some folks who said, "Well, there you go now David, you've been saying
that masturbation is never listed in scripture as a sin, but right there, what is the temptation
that Satan is tempting these people who are in a sexless marriage?
Well, it can only be masturbation."
Au contraire monsieur, there's plenty else to do besides masturbate in a sexless marriage,
and I think everyone would agree that masturbation is ... Solo sex is nowhere close to mutual,
consensual sex.
It's just nowhere close.
It's a cheap substitute, but nowhere close.
For anyone to say, "Well that verse right there proves that masturbation is wrong",
well actually it doesn't.
If that's what Paul was talking about, why didn't he just say it?
Why didn't he say it anywhere in the New Testament, in all of the epistles he wrote.
If there's a place to write about masturbation, Paul has it here, and he has it in previous
chapters too when he addresses sexual sins.
Oh my goodness.
Here's the override thought, I want to talk to the single people, all those people, those
41,000 young men who have viewed our most popular little lesson video, Will God forgive
me if I keep repeating the same sin, and I think I know what they're struggling with.
Can you see how this chapter, these words so affirm the reality of sexual desire and
that remedy, the release, the solution to sexual frustration is marriage.
Of course, you just can't marry anybody over night, but it could take some time, but that's
the solution.
Paul didn't say, "Well just suck it up buddy," or, "Take a cold shower."
I remember trying that.
I'd love to ask those guys the questions that say, "Take a cold shower."
How's that working for you?
Oh my goodness.
God bless these preachers.
All right, well we're out of time and we'll just pick up here in our next little lesson.
This is kind of fun, talking about these kind of things.
I hope that I'm at least making some struggling, single people feel a little bit better about
themselves.
We still have questions and answers to give, so hope to see you next time.
God bless you.

OK
I'll take a video later
I'm so exhausted, look at them
look at those butts
my legs are tired
finally, we're complete!
it so fun!
time to go!
I'm so tired
we're done eating
yes yes yo!
amazing
hey, hey, hey, hey I'M SHAKING
we're almost there
is this it? no it's not
it is!
- no it's not - no it's not
finally we're back
yes!
yes!
- how was it first timers? - I don't want a second time
it's my second time
you, do you want more?
- no - me, I'm good
- I'm cool - even the guy wanted to propose in here
you're going to search for each other
finally we're back, the oldies are not in here yet
- alright - alright
- so we're on our way back to our car - car
and it's so freaking far
I'm actually so excited to go home and rest
Since it's your first time, how does it feel?
tiring!
imagine, I slept around 12 last night and I only have 3 hours of sleep
and I woke up at 3, just ate for 5 to 10 minutes
then
time to go
this is the kind of trekking where we don't have much sleep
how was it?
- it's fun! - it's fun
it is so worth it
after two years?
after two year finally
- your dream came true - my dream came true
end
