Youtube daily here Jan 4 2019

I grew up in College Park. My wife's from from Prince George's County. I went school in

Montgomery County. We lived out in Howard County, and went to college in Baltimore

County. Now we're in Baltimore City. Any restaurant we'd ever want to go,

to a farmers market, is in close proximity to us where we live in downtown Baltimore.

What drew me here was that attraction of the technology and the

opportunity to start a business in a practical way, but it's not what it's not

just the story of what drew me here. It's the story of what I believe will keep me here.

You can be near the mountains fairly quickly. You can be near the ocean

fairly quickly. It's a good place to raise a family.

We've got great talent here within Maryland. We've got access to, you know, the biggest

spenders in that in the world with the federal government here in our backyard.

As well as it's a good quality of life. The educational system here is phenomenal.

Whether it's eating crabs or taking in a Baltimore Orioles game or Ravens game...

the Chesapeake Bay fishing...so many great things to entertain.

I love where I live in Maryland.

There's the Inner Harbor, the National Harbor down in Prince George's.

This is how I sum it up in Maryland: It's a great place to grow a business, but

it's a great place to live.

New Carrot Cake Oreos Are Already Hitting Shelves—and They're Here to Stay - News today - Duration: 1:37.

Oreo is starting 2019 off with a bang.

Only a few weeks after the cookie company announced that Dark Chocolate Oreos would make their debut in the new year, they revealed that a second new permanent flavor is hitting shelves as well.

As of Jan. 2, Carrot Cake Oreos are popping up in stores nationwide wherever Oreos are sold. The packaging may look like they are made with the traditional golden vanilla wafers but they actually feature a brand new cookie made to taste like carrot cake. Layered between the sweet cookies as it would be in the real dessert is a cream cheese frosting flavored creme.

If your local supermarket hasn't got a shipment in quite yet, they are available for purchase on Target for $2.99.

Cake flavors are a constant source of inspiration for the Oreo team. Toasted Coconut Cake, Strawberry Shortcake, Red Velvet Cake and Birthday Cake have all been turned into the beloved cookie.

We Tasted (and Graded) Every Crazy Oreo Flavor

The Carrot Cake Oreos are in good company when it comes to new cookie flavors from Oreo this year. PEOPLE staffers got a first taste of the Dark Chocolate Oreos—which are made with dark chocolate creme and chocolate wafers—and gave them a rave review.

Watch Klopp discuss Man City 2-1 Liverpool here - Duration: 3:04.

Jurgen Klopp remained upbeat after his Liverpool side fell to a tough 2-1 defeat to Premier League title rivals Man City on Thursday

The Reds began on the back foot, gained control after going behind, then eventually fell flat as an embattled City side fought for the three points on their home turf

After Sadio Mane's effort bounced off the post and somehow not back in via Ederson and John Stones, Sergio Aguero put the hosts ahead in the first half, before the introduction of Fabinho changed the game, albeit briefly, for Liverpool

A tactical switch allowed Trent Alexander-Arnold, Andy Robertson and Roberto Firmino to combine for the equaliser, only for Leroy Sane to break hearts and a long unbeaten run soon after

Liverpool stay four points clear at the top of the league, with this a crucial point to remember, and one clearly in Klopp's thoughts as he conducted post-match media duties

"[It was] pretty intense. Both teams [have] a lot of respect for each other," he told reporters

"We played better football in other games. City had more moments where they controlled the game

They are used to that much longer than we are.  "Post in, or post out can make a big difference and we witnessed that today!"    Mane's failed effort in the first half stayed the focus for Klopp as he highlighted how fine margins can prove costly in big-game clashes such as this one

"It's the result we didn't like, but we have to take it," he continued.  "It was unlucky

Post out. They blocked twice against us on the line in the second half."  But the manager stayed positive as he assessed the first 21 games in a campaign that has his side stay four points clear of City in second

"I have so much faith in my players," Klopp added.  "If someone would have told me, after both games against Man City, we would be four points ahead, I would have paid so much money for that

"  Perhaps unfortunately, next up comes an FA Cup third-round tie at Wolves on Monday night, but after that comes an opportunity to respond in the league, with a trip to a Brighton side who have won just once in their last six

Here's how the government shutdown affects health programs - Duration: 9:34.

This is a Kaiser Health News story. There seems to be no end in sight for the current partial government shutdown, the third since the beginning of the Trump administration

For the vast majority of the federal government's public health efforts, though, it's business as usual

That's because Congress has already passed five of its major appropriations bills, funding about three-fourths of the federal government, including the Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of Veterans Affairs

But seven bills are outstanding — including those that fund the Interior, Agriculture and Justice departments — and that puts the squeeze on some important health-related initiatives

The shutdown itself is not about health policies. It's the result of differences of opinion between the administration and congressional Democrats regarding Trump's so-called border wall

But it's far-reaching, nonetheless. Here's where things stand: Funding for "big-ticket" health programs is already in place, alleviating much of the shutdown's immediate potential impact

Since HHS funding is set through September, the flagship government health care programs — think Obamacare, Medicare and Medicaid — are insulated

That's also true of public health surveillance, like tracking the flu virus, a responsibility of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

The National Institutes of Health, which oversees major biomedical research, is also fine

It's a stark contrast to last January's shutdown, which sent home about half of HHS's staff

But some other public health operations are vulnerable because of complicated funding streams

Although the Food and Drug Administration falls under the HHS umbrella, it receives significant funding for its food safety operations through the spending bill for the Department of Agriculture, which is entirely caught up in the shutdown

Last year, that tallied an estimated $2.9 billion to support among other things these FDA oversight efforts, which involve everything from food recalls to routine facility inspections and cosmetics regulation

Not having those dollars now means, according to the FDA contingency plan, that about 40 percent of the agency — thousands of government workers — is furloughed

The FDA's responsibilities for drug approval and oversight are funded by user fees and are generally not affected

Regulation of tobacco products is also continuing. Health services for Native Americans are also on hold

Because Congress has yet to approve funding for the Indian Health Service, which is run by HHS but gets its money through the Department of the Interior, IHS feels the full weight of the shutdown

The only services that can continue are those that meet "immediate needs of the patients, medical staff, and medical facilities," according to the shutdown contingency plan

That includes IHS-run clinics, which provide direct health care to tribes around the country

These facilities are open, and many staffers are reporting to work because they are deemed "excepted," said Jennifer Buschik, an agency spokeswoman

But they will not be paid until Congress and the administration reach a deal. Other IHS programs are taking a more direct hit

For example, the agency has suspended grants that support tribal health programs, as well as preventive health clinics run by the Office of Urban Indian Health Programs

Public health efforts by Homeland Security and the EPA face serious constraints

The Department of Homeland Security's Office of Health Affairs assesses threats posed by infectious diseases, pandemics and biological and chemical attacks

It is supposed to be scaling back, according to the department's shutdown contingency plan

This office is just one component of the 204-person Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction Office, which is retaining about 65 employees during the funding gap

Other DHS health workers are likely to work without pay — for instance, health inspectors at the border, said Peter Boogaard, who was an agency spokesman under the Obama administration

According to DHS's plan, the vast majority of border patrol employees will continue working through the shutdown

The Environmental Protection Agency has also run out of funding. According to its contingency plan, it's keeping on more than 700 employees without pay, including those who work on Superfund sites or other activities where the "threat to life or property is imminent

" (More than 13,000 EPA workers have been furloughed.) That limits the agency's capacity for activities including inspecting water that people drink and regulating pesticides

But it's not just regulation. The public health stakes are visceral — and sometimes, frankly, pretty gross

Just look at the National Park Service, which has halted restroom maintenance and trash service for lack of funding

On Sunday, Yosemite National Park in California closed its campgrounds. On Wednesday, Joshua Tree National Park, also in California, did the same

Why? Per a park service press release: "The park is being forced to take this action for health and safety concerns as vault toilets reach capacity

" Kaiser Health News is a nonprofit news service covering health issues. It is an editorially independent program of the Kaiser Family Foundation, which is not affiliated with Kaiser Permanente

Royal Az - Here's the 'Multinational' Woman Who Joined Kate Middleton's Brother on Sexy St. Bart's - Duration: 3:26.

Will Kate Middleton be attending another family wedding in the near future?  James Middleton, the royal mom's 31-year-old brother, brought along Alizee Thevenet, a French financial analyst based in London, to his family vacation to St

Barts. The pair were spotted enjoying the sunshine, with James wearing bright blue swim trucks while Thevenet sported a one-piece bathing suit with blue and white stripes

The two joined James' sister Pippa, 35, and her husband James Matthews, who recently welcomed their son Arthur Michael William, on the tropical getaway

"I had the chance to grew up in six different countries: Germany, Indonesia, Chile, France, Belgium and England," Thevenet says on her LinkedIn profile, in which she describes herself as having a "multinational background

"  This isn't the first time James, the CEO of personalized marshmallow business Boomf, and Thevenet have been out together

On Dec. 4, she accompanied Kate's younger brother to the Henry van Straubenzee Memorial Fund's Christmas Carol Service at St

Luke's Church. Thevenet hid her face from cameras as they exited the service, at which Meghan Markle gave a reading from the poem "Our Deepest Fear" by Marianne Williamson

James' mother, Carole Middleton, recently reflected on her hopes for his love life with U

K. newspaper The Telegraph.  "I'm definitely hands-on. I don't find it complicated," Carole said of her approach to motherhood

"My biggest fear [as her children grew up] was that I'd lose my family, but we've stayed close

There are times when they say, 'Can you do this, or that?' And I can't quite. But they like the fact that I work

I have two lovely sons-in-law, and I hope I'll have a lovely daughter-in-law."  James previously dated Donna Air, an actress seven years his senior who has a daughter named Freya

"I love Donna very much and Freya is very much part of Donna, and I love them both equally," he said in a 2016 interview with the Daily Mail

"It's not 'Donna' and 'Oh, she has a child.' That's not how I've ever seen it."  James also added, "Marriage is absolutely not something I'm scared of [but it] isn't necessarily the be all and end all

"

Grace watches the New Year sunrise // 2019 is here! - Duration: 4:03.

*Auld Lang Syne starts to play*

*Auld Lang Syne finishes*

There we have it...

New Year's.

Umm...

I've had a lovely morning.

Obviously I look rough.

And I managed to stay up all night to see this beautiful sunset.

I mean sunrise.

My brain doesn't know how to work this early in the morning.

It's about twenty past six now.

The sun rose at 5:55

according to the Internet, but it didn't come over that mountain over there, until just now.

Umm...

I am very excited for 2019, and everything that it holds in store.

Umm...

If even one more morning in 2019 can be as calm and beautiful as this

perfectly clear one, I think it's going to be a very good year.

Happy New Year from me and mine, to you and yours.

Umm...

Yeah, that's all I've got.

Bye.
