How To Make An Adjustable Hole Cutter - Duration: 8:15.

Generally when we want to put a hole in timber any bigger than the drill bits

that we have, we can often be relegated to drill multiple holes, filing the mess

that ensues, or we can buy a whole saw which can retail anywhere upward from

$30, we might be able to find something cheap if we're lucky, but sometimes this

is not an option, this is how I make an adjustable hole cutter.

This is Cosador, Johnathan here. So, I want to make an adjustable hole cutter. There's probably

a few ways that I can do this, but I'm going to look at it like I only have a

drill, some bits, some basic hand tools, and an extremely tight budget.

For the materials, I'm going to limit myself to 20 mm by 20 mm square

steel tube, some 10 mm threaded rod, some nuts and some washers.

For this, I'll need to make a plan. For each of the cutter blades,

I'll make them out of threaded rod, which will be 50 mm long, with the

cutting depth of 15 mm and with the cutting width of approximately 3 mm

I want to be able to make two different diameter holes one 92mm

and one 75 mm, so I need to figure out where the hole is for

each of the cutter blades on the square steel tube, and for the 92 millimeter hole

I calculate 92mm minus 2 halves of the cutter blade width, which

leaves 89 mm, so the distance from the center is 89 mm

divided by 2, which equals 44.5 mm and for the 75 mm

hole, that's 75 mm minus 2 halves of the cutter blade width, which

leaves 72 mm, so the distance from the center is 72 mm

divided by 2 equals 36 mm. I need some structure for both of the

cutter blades, so I'll add 15 mm on each side, making the total length 119mm.

So ,119 mm divided by 2 equals 59.5 mm,

which will be my center point. To do this I'm going to need some tools,

a square, a rule, some files, some clamps, a hacksaw, a couple of spanners and a drill

and some bits. Before marking the square steel tube, I can see a seam on one side

of it and I want to avoid any of my holes going through that side because

the bolts will not see properly, I mark 59.5 mm which

is my center point, and at 119 mm, then I use a

square and I mark all the way around the square steel tube, I make two marks on

either side of the center point at 44.5 mm, I draw a

line with the square on each of those marks and I turn it over, I make

another two marks on either side at the center point at 36 mm

and I also draw lines with the square, and I double-check all of my measurements.

Then, I mark the center of the square steel tube where intersects the lines

and I rule a line across all of those marks.

Now it's time to drill some 2 mm pilot holes to guide the larger drill bit,

to stop my drill bit from wandering around the place,

I drill a hole in some scrap as a guide for my drill bit,

I clamp the guide over the crosshairs that I've made.

If I was to have trouble seeing the lines of the crosshair, I can make more precise lines

with a scribe or or a sharpened up nail.

Then I drill all six pilot holes.

Now, I change to the 10 mm bit, I use the drop of oil and I drill all three

holes on this side, and I clean up any mess with a file, and I repeat for the other side.

Now it's likely that the holes that I drilled for the center are

now going to be perfect and might not meet up well, so I keep the best of the

two and I make the other larger with a drill bit or a file, I need to clean up

on the inside of the square steel tube, there's quite a bit of swarf and rough

bits, so I clean it up with a small file. Now, it's time to start work on the

cutting blades, the nuts that need to go on the inside of the square steel tube are

quite a good fit, however I'm concerned that the seam on the side if I make the

bolt not seat properly, so I file one edge of the nut

so it fits nicely and I make three of these. I cut off two 50 mm lengths

of threaded rod with a hacksaw and I take off any sharp edges with a file

Now, I need to do a partial assembly so that I can sharpen the cutter blades,

I put the nuts into the square steel tube now make sure that the filed portion is

correctly positioned, then I screw in the threaded rod approximately 16 mm

leaving some room internally for adjustment, I lock it off with a

washer and nut and I repeat for the other side, I clamp it vertically and I

file off 3 to 3.5 mm, trying to keep the file as horizontal as possible,

I rotate the threaded rod 180 degrees and I do the same for the other side.

Once it's filed to measure, I rotate it 90 degrees and I file the face side

just enough so that it's flat, but no more than the depth of the thread, then I

file the end so the face side is longer than the threaded back side, I repeat the

same for the other threaded rod and the cutting blades are done.

For the last bit of filing, I need to look at the shank of the hole cutter. I have 115 mm

left after I cut the other pieces off, which is roughly what I need, but the

threaded rod is quite smooth rotationally and the chuck on my drill is not knurled and

the shank might slip if I attempted to use it as is, so I will make three equal

marks on the threaded rod and file the thread flat 40 mm on each of

the marks on each side. This doesn't need to be very precise, but it does need to be there.

Now that everything is filed, it's time to cut the square steel tube

down to size for the hacksaw, I tidy it up with a file, I disassembled and I

spray a little paint on the frame of the hole cutter, then with a marker I write

down the hole size on either side. Now it's time for assembly, first I want to

put in the internal nut and screw in the shank until it's roughly about halfway,

then I want to put a washer and nut and tighten against the internal nut, then I

lock it off from the other side of the square steel tube with another washer

nut. To install the cutting blades, first I install the internal nut and

screw in the cutting blade, and lock it off with a washer and nut, at the same

time making sure that the cutting blade is angled correctly, then I do the same

for the other cutting blade and the hole cutter is done.

Okay let's test this out, I'm going to need a guide hole for the hole cutter I'm using a 10 mm

bit and I drill a hole through the MDF sheet, then I mount the hole cutter into

the drill and I put the guide part of the shank into the guide hole, I firmly

hold the drill and I start to make the hole, because the blade has a shallow cut

I rotate the sheet and I continue from the other side and success the 75 mm

hole is made. This hole cutter is also configured for 92 mm

holes and I should probably test that too, so I put the cutting blades on the

92 millimeter side and I cut another hole and it's done.

Evaluating this, both holes were to size but there were a little bit messier than what I really

would have liked and that was probably down to the low number of cutting blades

and how shallow the cutting depth was, while the holes do need to be cleaned up

with some sandpaper, they are mostly accurate and the tool

has done its job.

Sometimes when we have tasks, our lack of tools can be

frustrating and it can make it seem like the job is impossible, so it's important

to be creative, and if this was useful to you please like and subscribe,

How I Make My Animated Stories - Duration: 11:25.

yooooo 808 yo yo 808 nation if you mind they got the beam yo feed my nigga ace

man it's your wit away and today I'm doing a very very highly requested video

how I make my animations so not only am i redrawing my character

sometimes what you have to do I am also going to be changing a lot of things

like Verna I even made my own font these are real grind hours burrow anyway those

who want to become YouTube animators let me show you how it's done because I'm

obviously very very qualified and very experienced as an animator let's be real

videos I'm so responsible and honest this video off I have all the steps in

the description and it should have a table of contents with the timestamps

but but for this time I do have the stuff in the description okay so the

first thing you're gonna have to do is create your own Oh see this took me

years you know like who knows my character might even change more but

this is easily the longest part but once you have the character developed and

created you're gonna want to draw the frames now what I like to do is separate

them into three things the mouth the eyes and the body I also did the

eyebrows and my halo and added some glasses but that's extra I mean it's not

really that necessary what I like to do is start with the head because that's

constant then I do the eyes mouth and then the body so everything was going

great until I had to draw this freaking hand frame man like shoot I'm I might as

well scratch this has become a black marshmallow animation so once you have

your character all drawn and crispy-looking what you're gonna need to

do is render it out back when I first started I actually had it all just in

one folder called frames it was okay but I mean it got old really quickly it's

going to take much longer but I'm telling you

separating your frames into folders by emotions and stuff will save your life I

promise so I wasn't going to add me doing this but I'm a speeded-up just to

show you how long it takes okay so we have all the frames drawn and separated

now show you the art of becoming a famous animator first go to Twitter look

up the odd ones out and go to his DM and get on your knees and prepare to sue

I'll stop but collabs do help imma keep it up look

I'm just not actively enough on Twitter to try to pop some off honestly but the

first thing you need to do is write a script yes fam

write a script don't just go in guns blazing like what do you do when you

break your mom's vase you come up with a plan figure out what you're going to say

make plays you put your blood sweat and tears into that excuse just like writing

a script except one doesn't result in you actually giving it a slapped out of

your mouth yeah I guess I guess one but I do highly suggest you get a

composition book or something just so you can write down all your video ideas

it really helps so the thing about script writing is take your freaking

time run you can have the best art in the animation community my guy like like

your stuff can be crispy as funky dance moves but I mean that won't mean shamone

if your script sucks risky's niggas know watching so now that

you have your script written what you need to do is start to record now I use

Premiere Pro in a blue microphone now having a microphone is highly suggested

and it's a very good idea it's not necessarily needed to get started you

know quick uses

yeah the 100,000 subscriber have in Cory Kenshin beard shiitake mushroom nose

having YouTube go uses his iPhone to record and his quality is really crispy

man so as I do recommend using a mic it's not that necessary but if you can't

afford one do buy one now some of you have already made animation stories how

do I know that cuz I'm a real one and I actually engaged Jah hashtag slept on

hashtag real sincere youtuber hashtag it's okay though because I know all

these hardwork writing and all these sleepless nights I put into making

videos will pay off one day though but there is one thing similar with all the

vids that I have seen they all sound like my first video and that's not okay

it's one thing to have good quality equipment and editing but you can't edit

a trash audio and make it not trash I'm using the same equipment that I did in

my first video it's just I know how to record audio now like when you record

scream talk loudly talk like someone just roasted you and you're about to

flame them with all of the energy from your fallen homies you're about to go

COO Spirit Bomb your mic with that energy and avoid being monotone at all

costs seriously oh like one thing that helps me is using hand motions so now

that your audio is recorded what I like to do is I like to listen to my audio

and figure out which scenes are gonna have the character talking which scenes

am I gonna have frames on which scenes am I gonna have text on which seems I'm

gonna have Google Images and means on because I'm too lazy to draw frames

that's not why we use Google Images

so after all that I've written a script recorded slaved away on my tablet with

the hope of the sweet release of death to take me over so I don't need to

torture myself any longer with his cold exist drawing my frames and yo when

drawing frames quality content is always the gold man so I know it takes forever

I know he knows take your time on the frames man

it makes your videos so much more visually appealing man like that's facts

now I'm not going to show all of that because it's gonna be like two hours and

that's more video editing than video creating so I could save that for

another tutorial if y'all want but what everyone's doing now is record a quick

sentence so I can show you all how I animate

why before we do that since I'm yo yo way to wait and I always have to be

extra in my attempt to be totally original before we animate I'm gonna

have to make a beat for the video cuz I enjoy going to sleep at 3 a.m. now this

is where the tutorial goes in two ways first I'm going to be showing you the

hard way that doesn't require Premiere Pro then I'm gonna show you the really

really easy way so with this hard way first what I like to do is I like to

drag all my frames to parts of the sentence where my tone changes or where

one word changes you don't want to change the characters position too much

though because then this happens but you also don't want to change your character

too little because then your video gets boring you need to find the sweet spot

so what you need to do first is zoom into the sequence where two frames

change I like to animate the begin the new frame I chopped it into three

frames eat so each movement is one frame long what you want to do is first squash

your character to about 70% of its original size the next frame make it a

little higher but not its full height and then the third frame make it higher

than the original so you get this nice bounce effect that is for non premier

pro people now in my old videos that was all I did and that's kind of what my

first character was all over the place right with Mir it has this thing called

three six I mean it's not that innovative so I'm sure other softwares

do but I'm not but I mean researching now please you're a terrible teacher so

what I do is all the same stuff but I do it with keyframes so what I will do is

go to the very beginning of the frame size it to 70% move over one frame with

the over arrow key and then hit the diamond go a little higher just like

before one frame over and then go to 120 percent or higher than the original then

I just click motion and save preset and the name it something stupid that I know

I'll remember and then boom all you need to do is select all of your frames and

then drag that preset over them that literally saves hours of tedious work

but I mean it still takes hours to do good amen

three hours is better than set and I basically do the same thing on my halo

and I mean that's it but hey you're probably new you don't even have a logo

a banner or a profile picture I'm redoing everything and I want my stuff

to be crisp from now on I want to be able to rival the animation tyrants one

day I'm taking this serious so here's a speedpaint ooh be doing everything if

you have any questions on how it did any of this stuff just commented

ayyyy we back on this end car now i got some dams of people asking me how to

feature their art just tag me on instagram i always see it when you tag

me don't at me because I'll never remember don't DM e art I'll never

remember it's so much easier if you tag me because I get a notification and it

stays in my tag tabs tag tab thing it stays here it's like I can remember and

that basically wraps up the video man be sure to join the Twitter gang shout outs

to the instant fam I'm also on snapchat now like and comment as I replied every

Simpel make-up tutorial | Machty B - Duration: 4:22.

♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫

Hello my dear, little plants

Today I have a makeup tutorial for this look

It's a very easy makeup look that doesn't take up too much time to do

And actually perfect to use for school.

Cause you have very little time in the morning. But if you still want to wear makeup

Like me

You can try something that is quick to do and still looks good and decent

Let's begin immediately

By the way, stay hydrated kids

I start with priming my face

For this, I use the "Oil Control Primer Spray" from "City Color"

Naturally, I have to prime my eyes as well

And for this, I use "Photo Focus Eyeshadow Primer" from "Wet 'n Wild"

After Priming, I start with my eyes

I use the "Twist Eyeshadow" from "KORRES" with the color "Vulcano Mineras 29"

Afterwards, I put on my Mascara

The Mascara I use is "Worth the Hype Waterproof Mascara" from "NYX"

To end, I use a "Soft Kohlpencil" from "HEMA" using the color "07", and apply it under my eyes

Next are the eyebrows

To keep it simple, I use the "Tinted Brow Mascara" from "NYX" in the color "Brunette"

The top of my hair is brown, but the rest is blonde, so "Brunette" fits perfectly with my combination of hair color

I use the coverstick from "HEMA" in the color "01" and rub it over my entire face

Of course I draw little hearts, for I love you all

After this, I use a blending brush from the "Boozyshop" and blend it completely out

By the way, I learned this technique from one of my friends

Shout out to Marie, thanks for teaching me this

Once it all blended out, I use a powder to make it more matte

For this, I use the "Essence Mattifying Compact Powder 11 Pastel Beige"

As you can see, I use this powder a lot for you can see the bottom clearly

The Brush I use for this is the "Face and Body Brush" from "Body Shop"

And now, the moment you've all been waiting for

Highlighter and contour

For this I use a "Bronze and Glow" pallet from "I Heart Makeup"

I'm trying on a very subtle contour, but as you can see, it almost never works

The brush I use for this is one from "The Body Shop" called "93G"

Personally I always like to look like a piece of aluminium foil, so I use plenty of highlighter

But if that's not your thing, I can understand that completely

For putting on my highlighter, I use the "Boozyshop Taped Highlighter 3300"

I'm quickly using a "Kabuki Brush" from "ELF" over my entire face as to wipe away any remaining powder

Eventually I spray the "Oil Control Matte Setting Spray" from "City Color" over my entire face

So that the makeup endures through the day, because I sweat a lot. This has to to stay on my face for the entire day.

And to finish off this look, naturally my favorite moment (besides the highlighter), lipstick

for this tutorial, I'm using the "Matte Lip Liquid Windsor Rose 032" from "The Body Shop"

As this was actually the most neutral color that I had lying around

Now we are done with the look

Enjoy some of deze very awkward shots of my attempting to pose sexy

and then afterwards laughs at herself, thinking; "How can all these beauty bloggers and makeup artists do this?"

This voice-over is now over

This was my makeup tutorial for this rather simple look

Hopefully you found it a very fun video If you liked it, give it a thumbs up

Don't forget to subscribe 'Cause I post every sunday

Follow me on social media Links are in the description

And I will see you all Next week ba byeee

So before I stop the video, I just wanted to say that all products used in this video were cruelty-free and quite cheap

So everything is very affordable

And it's very, very, very, very easy to recreate this look

If you would like to help me out Press subscribe or one of these two videos

And then I will see you all Next week Ba byeee

You don't need a single drop of mayo to make your best potato salad - Duration: 6:48.

Overview Ingredients Steps Overview There are plenty of things I would like to tell my younger self if I could dial her up and share my wisdom

Sure there were some — okay, a lot of — unfortunate wardrobe decisions, but, really, most of my tips would be about food

At the top of the list: Potato salad is wonderful. See, I grew up exposed to mayo-based salads, where everything took on a sticky white slime that was immediately off-putting

While I've overcome an absolute mayo aversion, even now I prefer not to have my potato salad drowning in the stuff

[Dinner in Minutes: Lentil Salad With Roasted Potato Wedges] I only started to come around to potato salad once my family began to regularly eat at a local barbecue joint, where I became hooked on a zippy mustard version

And that is the type I'm presenting to you. Dressed with a honey mustard vinaigrette, it is tangy and a little bit sweet with plenty of punch that keeps the salad light and bright

Mark Bittman's original recipe called for parsley and scallions, but even hard-earned time and wisdom has yet to win me over to the former

Instead, I decided to channel another food I loathed as a kid but now love: pickles

A handful of finely chopped small pickles, such as cornichons, and an equal amount of dill proved the perfect counterpoint/complement to the vinaigrette

I ended up spiking the vinaigrette with the pickle brine, which is not just a clever way to use something that might otherwise get thrown out

It also added a less harsh, more well-rounded salty-sweet flavor that was lacking the first time I made the dressing with only wine vinegar

I'm calling for Yukon Gold potatoes, which are my go-to potato. Not as starchy as Russet or as waxy as reds, they are a good all-purpose option, with a firm enough structure to hold together in potato salad while still boasting a creamy texture

Plus, their color and rich flavor are ideal in this dish. If you can't find or don't want Yukon Gold, I would lean toward something waxier such as red or fingerlings that will not fall apart when boiled and tossed

[How to leave those bottled dressings behind and make your own vinaigrette] Make Ahead: The potato salad tastes even better after a day's refrigeration

You will have some mustard vinaigrette left over, which is great on salads and can be refrigerated for a few days (whisk briefly if it has separated)

Ingredients FOR THE VINAIGRETTE 1⁄2cupextra-virgin olive oil 2tablespoonsbrine from a jar of cornichons, gherkins or other small pickles, plus more as needed 1tablespoonwhite or red wine vinegar, plus more as needed 1heaping teaspoon mustard, such as Dijon 1 to 2 tablespoons honey Kosher salt Freshly ground black pepper FOR THE SALAD 1 1⁄2poundsskin-on Yukon Gold or other yellow-fleshed potatoes, scrubbed and cut into bite-size pieces (see headnote) Kosher salt 8cornichons, gherkins or other small pickles, finely chopped (about 1/2 cup) 1⁄2cupminced fresh dill Freshly ground black pepper Steps Step 1 For the vinaigrette: Combine the oil, pickle brine, vinegar, mustard and 1 tablespoon of the honey in a blender, mini food processor or in a lidded jar you can shake

Season lightly with salt and pepper. Blend or seal and shake to form a creamy, emulsified vinaigrette

This should take a minute or less. Taste and add more brine, vinegar or honey, a teaspoon or two at a time, as needed

The yield is 3/4 cup. Did you make this recipe? Take a photo and tag us on Instagram with #eatvoraciously

Step 2 For the salad: Put the potatoes in a pot with just enough water to cover them

Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, add a large pinch of salt and then reduce the heat to medium or medium-low, so the water bubbles gently

Cook for about 15 minutes, until tender but still somewhat firm. Drain, rinse under cool water for a minute, then drain again

Step 3 Toss the still-warm potatoes with the chopped cornichons and dill in a large bowl

Stir in 1/2 cup of the vinaigrette; let the salad sit for a few minutes, then taste

Add more of the vinaigrette and season with salt and pepper, until you are happy with the flavor

Serve right away, or cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (to chill thoroughly) and up to 2 days
