250 grams of unsalted sev

1/2 litre whole cream milk

250 grams of khoa

200 grams of sugar

1 teaspoon of cardamom powder

1 tablespoon of clarified butter

1 teaspoon of rose essence

10 to 12 almonds cut in small pieces

18 to 25 pistachioes cut in small pieces

First will put milk in a pan and reduced to half

Once milk has reduced to half then add sugar

And will keep stirring it so that sugar dissolve

And does not stick to the pan

Next put khoa and keep mixing and stirring

To avoid sticking it at the bottom of the pan

The khoa nicely dissolved and thicken

Add cardamom powder and mix well

Next add 1 teaspoon of clarified butter and mix well

And keep it on low flame for 1 minutes

Turn off the gas and add sev and rose essence and mix well

Next keep the mixture in a pan for 5 minute

So that's sev absorbs the moisture from the mixture

Next grease the plate with clarified butter

And transfer the prepared mixture in it and spread well

And flatten with the help of spatula

Garnish in chopped almonds and pistachioes

And tap it so that they stick to the barfi well

Next cut it into the equal part

In the long run, which fighter aircraft will the IAF settle for(FGFA or F-35)? - Duration: 6:39.

My first reaction when I heard the news that India's Ministry of Defence had cancelled the request for proposals for single-engine fighter (SEF) aircraft and asked the IAF to work on a fresh proposal that looks at both single and twin-engine platforms was one of dismay

I even tweeted that the IAF would need divine intervention to get to a strength wherein it can really be counted as a deterrent and coercive tool of war fighting, and that Islamabad and Beijing may be raising a toast to India's muddled and fractured combat aircraft procurement process.

Aggravating this dismay was the full steam at which the People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) was rolling out the J-20 with a startlingly diverse array of aerial weapons and investing heavily in a next generation fighter too.

Not helping matters was a well-researched piece by ThePrint's Manu Pubby that asked searching questions about the viability and sustainability of the Indo-Russian Fifth Generation Fighter Aircraft (FGFA) project, considering that the Russians were pushing for a commitment that would be a point of no return (PNR) for the Indians. For those interested, in aviation parlance, PNR implies that an aircraft has gas only to reach its initially intended destination.

Let me state upfront that I am not a test pilot, nor have I been an acquisitions man in any of my previous avatars, or a consultant earning big-bucks within the defence-industrial complex. I am a military and air power historian, and most importantly, an ardent supporter of Indian air power, and of the IAF as an effective tool of statecraft and a decisive factor in joint operations.

However, as an optimist, I did also reflect on whether there was a silver lining behind this latest decision. The road ahead will call for some tough decisions, some mid-course deviations, and adequate contingency planning.

I am not going to procrastinate for one moment on whether the Gripen or the F-16 would have won the SEF contract – that is history. I am going to reflect on the buzz going around that the IAF is considering asking for a presentation on the F-35 and evaluating it as a likely contender in the fresh round of proposals.

My guess is that should the F-35 come onto the scene, the competition for the 120+ aircraft would narrow down to a straight slug-fest between the Dassault Rafale and Lockheed Martin F-35.

The French would argue that they have been reliable partners with the Mirage-2000 over the years, and that it would be a logical follow-on order to have a force mix of Su-30 MKIs and Rafales as the cutting edge Fifth Generation platforms, with the upgraded Mirage-2000s and Light Combat Aircraft providing reasonable back up till 2025-2030.

There is one hiccup though – there is no French future generation fighter aircraft on the horizon, and with the PLAAF going full steam ahead with the plan for the sixth generation fighter aircraft, the IAF would be forced to lump the current Indo-Russian collaborative FGFA, which according to many has not shown much promise and gained traction within the Russian Air Force itself. Therefore, instead of reducing its supply chain footprint over the years, the IAF will find itself hostage to an unmanageable situation after 2030.

The F-35 presents both an opportunity and a challenge. Logically speaking, should India (IAF and Indian Navy) settle for the F-35, it is likely be the largest operator of the aircraft after the US, along with UK and Italy (both 130-plus).

The IAF will also benefit from lower fly-away costs as compared to the Rafale due to the sheer economies of scale that Lockheed Martin will bring to the table (till date, it has orders for 3,000-plus aircraft from 12-13 air forces).

It will also benefit from a mature aircraft that has undergone much testing and tweaking by not only its US operators, but also by partners like the UK, Norway, Netherlands and Israel, which have already started taking delivery of the aircraft.

On the flip side, the Indians will be interested in the F-35 only with a significant Make in India arrangement with an Indian partner, that would include a manufacturing line in India to fulfil orders and service not only India's requirements, but also those of other operators like Japan, Singapore and other prospective customers in the Indo-Pacific.

There is no point in embarking on a blame game for the capability gap that must be managed over the next two decades, as even with the 36 Rafales coming in by 2019, the IAF would have to manage with barely 30 squadrons till around 2025, when the new acquisitions start rolling.

However, the single most attractive proposition is that India could explore being an early-bird investor in the US Air Force's sixth generation fighter programme, irrespective of who wins the contract, as currently many aerospace majors are developing prototypes in the run-up to the competitive phase.

This also offers a glimmer of hope for India's lagging cutting-edge innovation and aircraft industry to make up some ground that it has ceded to China in the last decade. Erstwhile partners could be extremely unhappy, as would elements within India's 'establishment' who have been comfortable with status quo and used to a 'running with the hares and hunting with the hounds' strategy even in areas related to defence acquisition.

The decision will be a tough one, and in the final analysis, it will reflect on whether India is willing to take a leap of faith with regards its long term strategic interests and strategic choices.

Closed or open mortgage: Which one is right for you? (so you can save money) - Duration: 4:13.

Hi everyone, welcome to another edition of Homebuyer's School.

Today I'm joined by Mutjaba Syed Manager Mobile Mortgage Specialist

with TD Canada Trust, and today the question we're gonna answer is,

What's the difference between open and closed mortgage rates?

So Mo, what is that difference?

Yeah, so it's a great question.

The difference the main difference between open mortgage and a

closed mortgage is that in open mortgage is there's not really a term attached to

it. You could actually leave that lender at any time without any penalties

incurred. A closed mortgage just means that technically you've signed a

contract with the bank to be there for a certain time period so if you

decided to go with a 5-year term you have to kind of stay with your 5-year

term and then decide after that if you want to stick with the same bank or kind

of go somewhere else, but with an open mortgage it's just--you can actually

move at any time without actually incurring any penalties.

So when should I pick an open versus a closed mortgage rate?

Yeah, so it's--mostly what I would recommend to my clients is that if

they're thinking of what's selling any time soon or leaving, or they're thinking

about moving out of the country or moving cities, an open mortgage is a very

good option at that time so you can get in for a very short time period and

actually get out without paying heavy penalties to get out. Once again it's a great

conversation to actually have with your lender at that time and let them know

about your future plans as well and that could help you determine what the best

rates are for you guys, if open makes more sense or close makes more sense.

Does an open or closed mortgage rate have anything to do with a fixed or

variable mortgage rate or completely simply separate things?

Yeah so there are actually--that's a great question, so we have an open fixed

mortgage rate and we also have open variable mortgage rates. They are--

predominantly it's going to be a little bit higher than the closed fixed

mortgage rates and closed variable rates, and the reason is because banks offer

discounts for clients--to attract clients when you're going with an open mortgage

rate, there's no loyalty, what banks technically finds so it's going to be a

little bit higher and technically in line with what all the banks are

offering, so it's not going to be a discounted rate at all you know, it will

be a little bit of a higher rate than the fixed, the closed fixed with a closed variable.

So in an open mortgage rate, say halfway through that term that you

signed, you can just switch to another bank?

Yeah absolutely, you could switch to a

different lender which you feel like has better rates for you, has better terms for

you. You can sell your home, you could do any of those things to actually get out of

that mortgage, without any penalties.

So why did the banks actually provide the

option of a open? Because wouldn't the banks want to you know, lock you into a

mortgage with that particular bank?

Yeah absolutely--

but I think at the end of the day what we want to do is we want to

actually give options to our clients, whatever it's going to be best fitted

for their needs. A lot of different life situations can happen where options are

a great thing to have. So for banks we want to be able to know

what's best for them.

So Mo do you have anything else to add in terms of

open and closed mortgage rates?

Yeah absolutely, I would just recommend

speaking with your specialist and bank or lender and see what's best for you, it

kind of fits in with your guys budgeting, with your plans

or future plans, and determine which kind of rates are going to be ideal

for your situation.

Perfect well thank you very much Mo.

Which Defensive Players Should the 49ers Get in Free Agency? (2018) - Duration: 8:01.

Ayo! It's Bryan here. Today, going to be talking about the San Francisco 49ers. Going to be

doing the defensive side of the ball now for free agents that the 49ers

should be going after in 2018. So let's just dive into it. Now, in my last video, I

talked about the offensive side the ball and who should they get in free agency.

So if you want to check that video out, it's going to be a Card section right here.

But right now, I want to talk about the defensive side the ball. I don't know if

I'm as intrigued with the defensive side of the ball in free agency as I was in

the offensive side of the ball, but I'm going to try my best. I'm going to be doing

defensive lineman, kind of linebacker sort of and then mostly defensive backs

because I think defensive backs have some pretty damn good talent.

Linebacker, there's only pretty much one that I would be interested in, but other than

that, not really. Going to the pass rushers right now, I think that's the

most important position in football. Well, not in football, but on the defensive

side the ball because if you can win in the trenches, you can win football

games because pressuring the quarterback, generating sacks is a really good way to

be a dominant defense. You got to have a defensive line, yes you do. There's a

couple of players that I'm interested in on the free agent market. There was a

couple that I liked before, but they don't fit the 49ers 4-3 scheme like Connor Barwin.

I do love me some Connor Barwin. I think he's doing a pretty damn

good job under Wade Phillips in Los Angeles and he was a pretty damn good

job in Philadelphia when he was there. I think he had 14.5 sacks in 2014

or something like that. I think that would have been a good pickup, but

unfortunately, he struggles under the 4-3 defensive end. So I really don't want to

pick him up. I would love to, but we don't run a 3-4 scheme. So he's out of the picture.

Ziggy Ansah, I would love Ziggy Ansah as well, but

a couple of days ago, he signed a franchise tag. Can't do anything right there.

Kony Ealy, I think that'd be an interesting case study right there.

He did a pretty damn good job in Carolina a couple of years ago and in the Super

Bowl, he was sensational. He had 3 sacks, 1 INT on Peyton Manning.

Wow! That was just freaking sensational. I know that was a couple

years ago. I know that was one game, but it was the most important game and you want to get

notoriety, you do it in the most important game of the year, which is the

Super Bowl. So he had a pretty damn good performance. If the Panthers would have

won the Super Bowl, he would've been Super Bowl MVP. He had a really

impressive game there. He had a cup of coffee New England. Got cut there

and then New York, he was kind of ok. I don't know. It was a little awkward. I don't

know if the 49ers should be going after him. Personally, I would take a flier.

See what he can do as a 4-3 defensive end and he did a pretty good

job in Carolina. So you might as well give him a chance to see what he can do in

San Francisco and I know he was inconsistent. I know that was probably

why he didn't last as long in New England and what have you, but I think he can do

a pretty damn good job for the 49ers. Just got to see what he can do in

training camp. Compete with Solomon Thomas and DeForest Buckner.

All those cool stuff and yeah. We'll see what happens. If they can get Kony Ealy, I know

the 49ers last year, they didn't pick him up. It was just because of consistency issues.

If I were John Lynch and Kyle Shanahan, Robert Saleh, I'd take a chance on him.

See what he can do. Sign him to a... you know, I don't know. Like a two or three

year deal and if he doesn't work out, then just cut him in training camp.

But, if he works out, then hey! He can make the roster. We'll see what happens. I'm not

sure what they're going to be doing, but personally for me, I would take a chance

on Kony Ealy. See what he can do, despite the fact that he's inconsistent.

Whenever he can get it on, he can get it on and who else? Demarcus Lawrence, I think

that'd be an interesting case study as well, but I think he's going to be getting a

contract extension from the Dallas Cowboys sooner rather than later. I don't

know there's going to be a pickup right there. He was a pretty damn good EDGE

rusher for the Cowboys. I think he had 14.5 sacks last year. He almost led

the league in the NFL in sacks. So very impressive. He had a breakout year and maybe

if he starts with the 49ers, he can have success here as well. I think they

run a similar 4-3 scheme. So it's not really going to be a big change or

anything like that. We don't run a 3-4 scheme. If the 49ers can pay

him big bucks or pay him for the right price as always, right price, then

definitely pick up Demarcus Lawrence, but I wouldn't overpay him. I don't think

Demarcus Lawrence warrants it, an overpaying contract, but I think if they

can get him for the right price, then definitely go after Demarcus Lawrence.

I think in the end, he just signs with the Dallas Cowboys to an extension and hooray right?

Julius Peppers, I think that'd be a nice flier as well.

I don't know, these free agent class of defensive people, I'm not the biggest fan

of, but just putting it out there. Peppers, I think that'd be a good pickup as well for

the 49ers. I think he's better than Elvis Dumervil at this point of his career.

He's pretty good for situational pass rushing and he can mentor both Solomon

Thomas, DeForest Buckner, all those great players on the defensive linemen.

The very young defensive linemen. That could be a really good use right there if he

does play football again, but I don't know. I highly doubt he might sign with the 49ers.

I think if he wants to play football again, he might just go back to

the Carolina Panthers. If the 49ers can get a good enticing offer to Peppers,

maybe he'll go to the west coast and play for the 49ers.

We'll see then, but all these players are a little big asterisk marks because either

they got franchise tag or they don't fit our scheme as well or they're inconsistent.

So really, the only players we can go after are Julius Peppers and

Kony Ealy to be honest with you. Other than that, Ziggy Ansah's tagged,

I think Demarcus Lawrence is going to sign a contract with the Cowboys and Connor Barwin,

he doesn't fit our 4-3 scheme. Can't really do anything about that. So that's

pretty much it for defensive lineman. I thought this was going to be an okay class.

Looking at it, I don't know. Not the biggest fan of it, but if we had to make

a free agent splash, there you go. Those are the people I think we should be going

after based on fit scheme and I guess making money as well. Paying them money.

That's pretty much it. Linebacker, I'm not really interested in

these linebackers to be honest with you. The only one I'm interested in is

NaVorro Bowman. Yes, he played for the 49ers last year. If you didn't know about

that, then you must be lost as a 49er fan or you must be joining the 49er

bandwagon if this was a bandwagon, but NaVorro Bowman, I think that would be a

great pickup as well because Reuben Foster he has been getting himself into

hot water. I think we all know about that. So it wouldn't hurt at all to get

NaVorro Bowman back. We'll see what happens. I don't know. I mean, he kind of

struggled a little bit under Robert Saleh's defense. Might not work out, might

work out. If NaVorro Bowman was really interested in going back to San

Francisco, then hey! Come back to San Francisco. I would love to see what he

can do again as a middle linebacker for the 49ers 4-3 scheme. That'd be pretty cool.

Defensive back, I think this is the juicy one. I think this is what everyone

is looking forward to. There is a couple of good pickups that I would think

can be good for the 49ers. I would say Kyle Fuller, Trumaine Johnson and Malcolm Butler.

Malcolm Butler is probably the biggest wild card of them all

because I think we all know what happened in Super Bowl this year against

the Philadelphia Eagles for the Patriots. They didn't play him at all for whatever

reason and I don't know if he would have made the biggest difference of winning

the Super Bowl, but I think he would have made a difference some way, shape or form.

He didn't play at all. So we'll never know what happens. I think Malcolm Butler

can be a really good pickup for the 49ers for the right price. I think he's

going to be having some motivation to play some football and rub it to Bill

Belichick on why he didn't play him in the Super Bowl. I think there's a little

outage right there. I think that can help Malcolm Butler's case for the 49ers

to sign him. That motivation right there for not playing the Super Bowl at all

for whatever reason. I think that can really, really, really help Malcolm Butler

and actually perform well for the 49ers. So I would be down to getting

Malcolm Butler as well for the right price as always. Yes, I always got to

emphasize that. So it's going to be hard, but I think he's a pretty damn good corner

and even after the Super Bowl hero play that he made against the Seattle

Seahawks of all teams, he had a pretty damn good two seasons as a Patriot as well.

He had an All-Pro appearance. He had Pro Bowl appearances as well. He wasn't a one-hit wonder

after that Super Bowl hero play and I think he's

a pretty damn good corner. I would be down to get him. Trumaine Johnson, interesting

case as well. Los Angeles Rams. That would be really helpful to get insight on the

Rams defense. Maybe Wade Phillips can make some changes, but I think Trumaine

Johnson, I think that would be a really good pickup as well and the Rams paid

him a lot of money for the past couple of years now to keep Trumaine Johnson.

So there's some value in him. As always, always got stressed this, right price, I

think he'd be a really good fit for the 49ers and Kyle Fuller for the Chicago

Bears, I think he was a pretty damn good corner for what he had with the Chicago

Bears because they were not a good team. He worked under Vic Fangio. So that's a

really good thing to do because Vic Fangio is a pretty damn [good] defense coordinator.

I think we all remember him from a couple of years ago with the Jim Harbaugh era.

I think Kyle Fuller can be a good pickup as well. So yeah. That's going to be

pretty much it you guys. I just want to make this video a little bit short for

the most part. I'd be interested mostly in the cornerbacks that I think that

would be the most interesting pickups in my opinion. Linebacker, uh, it depends and

defensive lineman, uh, iffy at best. So yeah, just please let me know what you guys

think about the free agents and who should we get and did I miss anyone that

we should getting. If you guys like this please "Like," SUBSCRIBE, do whatever you ever you

want with this and I'll be catching you guys up another time. So I hope you guys

have a nice day, nice weekend, nice whatever and I'll be catching you guys

up later. Bye guys. Love y'all. See y'all later!

IAF wants 201 Tejas Mark-II, which will fly by 2022, India's AWACS Best in Region says DRDO chief - Duration: 2:53.

The indigenous airborne early warning and control system (AEW&C) built by Defence Research and Development Organisation using modified Brazilian Embraer jets is cost effective and better than the Swedish systems owned by Pakistan, said DRDO chairman Dr S Christopher at an event in Gujarat University on Thursday.

Giving an insight into various modern technologies being developed for the military, Christopher, delivering the first i-talk organised by Gujarat Innovation Society (GIS), spoke about how DRDO's AEW&C platform, christened "Netra", was close to his heart since he was involved in it right from inception.

"In 1985, we thought we should make an AWACS (airborne warning and control system) because at that time the US had brought in their own system," Christopher said while narrating how the DRDO faced teething problems in the project, which also involved a crash.

The DRDO chief said they had gone for a simpler and smaller platform by using the Brazilian Embraer-145 jets when the project was restarted. "It started with a simpler and smaller platform that is the Embraer," Christopher said, adding how the five-hour endurance of the system was expanded by adding a complex air-to-air refueling facility.

Claiming that the DRDO's AWACS was cheaper than its Pakistani counterpart, Christopher said except for the aircraft, the electronics was indigenously made. "Except for the aircraft, all the electronics is ours.

So when you compare the cost, it is less than what Pakistanis are having; the Swedish system. In addition to that, their aircraft itself is not as good as ours. It is because our is a jet and that is a turboprop," the DRDO chief said. Pakistan has Saab 2000 Erieye AEW&C from Sweden.

Tejas Mark-II to fly by 2022

Speaking of Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas, Christopher said HAL had already got an order to manufacture 123 LCAs. "In addition to that, the air force has given in writing another 201 aircraft, which is the next version, that we call as Mark-II. We are working on it and by 2022 it will be flying," he said.

If I could be a Jedi, I mean if I could have a light saber…

then all would be right with the universe.

This maybe so odd but it's the first thing that comes to mind, Old Boy

This maybe so odd but it's the first thing that comes to mind, Old Boy. I mean the film is so dark I don't know why.

Kind of like a mix between Star Wars and like Wuthering Heights!

The Wizard of Oz!

This is weird… but I would go to Gangs of New York

You know having a lover like Heathcliff, working in the fields.

I kinda want to go be in Persona

Be a Jedi and have my hair in like weird shapes

New York now is towers everywhere so how crazy would it have been to just like walk across a field in the middle of Manhattan

I'm going have to say Wrinkle in Time, just because… have you seen the cinematography?

Avatar made me want to kiss blue people and live in the trees.

And meet Bill the Butcher yea…one of the greatest actors of all time
