Modified Dodge Charger Police Pursuit Vehicle in Canada - Tons of Custom Mods - Duration: 4:55.
Welcome to wacky Wednesdays, where everyone has a chance to show off their
car mods, and here's this week's winner,
this is my 2011 Dodge Charger police pursuit package,
with the 5.7 Hemi, it has 345 cubic inches or a tons of cubic
centimeters, so this vehicle came from a small town in
Atlantic Canada, a police department so small they only had
two pursuit Chargers with the Hemi and maybe about four of the interceptors with the v6,
when I got it, there was no bumper on it, it had the fascia but I mean the push bumper,
it only had the holes cut in the grill, so being that I'm a welding fabricator,
I made my own, I live in semi-rural Canada and there's a
lot of critters and deer, I'd rather put the extra effort into this
than replace the bumper insert, the headlights are aftermarket,
these are Spec D tuning, LED U bar headlights,
as an armor smith I specialize in Star Wars related armor,
I replaced both of the halogen lights with LED,
you'll notice there are a few things different than a standard 5.7 Hemi,
or the police pursuit version, there's the engine cover, pursuit packs don't
come with a engine cover, I got this one salvaged and modified it myself,
another thing you'll notice is the belt drive, water pump, and idlers are Hemi Orange,
those are parts I replaced as part of preventative maintenance,
so I redid all the cooling system and belt drive,
the new parts I painted Hemi Orange because all the old stuff is this aluminum color,
the intake is a short ram intake, I took off the heat shroud so you can see
it, this is actually made with just some plumbing
parts, the flange I fabricated with aircraft aluminum,
and when I got these the letters were red, I painted them myself and actually very happy
with them, the underside and wheel wells are actually
coated with grease, I also put a stainless steel skid plate underneath,
this is made of 14 gauge steel and I didn't put it in for it to be bulletproof,
just to protect the bottom and act as a splash guard,
because the original splash guard as you can see was broken off at some point,
another notable feature is the roof rack, it's not solely for the purpose of trolling
people, if you are a fan of Star Wars you might recognize
that symbol, the exhaust system, I made these tips myself,
they're a stainless steel sheet metal, I made the catback exhaust system myself,
these are the black widow 250's, they are a straight through design with a
baffle to the side, so they are similar to a flowmaster but they
have virtually no drone, in the grill I have off road lights,
they aren't a very high quality brand but I rarely use them anyways,
mostly just as fog lights, I'm very happy with them, I've never had an issue with them,
in the grill I have some blue LED's, these are more just for parade use,
I also have a Z automotive, and what this does is it's basically an unlocker,
so lets say you have the 2015 Charger and you only have the RT,
what you can do with this is you can unlock the performance SRT pages,
for example the launch controls that come on the Hellcat for example,
it can also do a button remap, so you can get the upgraded trim level buttons
to add, for example the paddle shifters,
so I can add the paddle shifters and launch controls from the 2011-14 vipers, because
they all have the same steering wheel, they just have different inserts,
another interesting feature of the Taser Tuner by Z Automotive, is it has a line lock function,
what that does is it uses the ABS solenoids in the front and it works as a stagging line
lock for warming up slicks, or you know doing burnouts and other devious
things that I totally don't ever do... well that was this week's video, and to have

Lynk & Co Unveils the 02 SUV, Its Third Vehicle - Duration: 3:04.
The nascent automotive startup Lynk & Co wants to be seen as a global company.
The spawn of Chinese automaker Geely, it hopes to disrupt the industry through connectivity
and alternative ownership formats.
Geely also owns the Swedish brand Volvo, which will share parts and platforms with Lynk & Co,
with hopes to sell cars eventually in the United States and throughout Europe.
The new brand has endured skepticism and naming battles, but its plan has taken one step closer
to reality as Lynk & Co unveils its third model, the 02 SUV, and maps out details for
its rollout in Europe.
The 02 SUV joins the 01 compact CUV—which we've driven—and the 03 sedan.
Lynk & Co did not release much information, although it did release plenty of photos that
shows every part of the vehicle.
It features similar styling to the other two models, with a frumpy face and Nissan Juke–like
high-mounted headlights, a floating roof, plastic cladding around the wheel arches,
a light bar that stretches across the rear, and dual exhaust tips within a rear diffuser.
The body is slightly more swoopy than that of the 01, however, with extra creases across
the doors and shoulders.
Lynk & Co said it plans to begin with "hybrid-only electrified derivatives" for its first vehicles,
including the 02.Following the launch of the brand in China in 2017, Lynk & Co said it
will begin production of the 01 CUV at Volvo's Ghent, Belgium, factory in 2019.
The 01 will be made on the same line as the Volvo XC40 and will share Volvo's Compact
Modular Architecture (CMA) platform.
The first "offline store"—not a dealership—will open in Amsterdam, with plans for other boutiques
in Barcelona, Berlin, Brussels, and London.
Pop-up stores are also a possibility.Although Lynk's cars might borrow from other brands,
the company's business model represents an attempt to map out new territory.
Unlike other manufacturers, which allow customers to take a base car and build it into their
ideal ride through various options and packages, Lynk & Co will only offer "collections."
These collections will be equipped in one way and have one price.
The cars can be browsed at one of the boutiques and ordered online, with the choice to buy
or subscribe.
The models will also have a built-in option to share, similar to the way the popular app
Turo allows owners to rent out their cars.
We are promised more details on the brand's U.S. plans later in
the year.
