The more resources you can offer

like knowledge, experience, skills

Support others where you can and get support where it's available.

True story - we learn best when we're engaging and doing.

The third step is to never stop learning.

Education can mean anything,

from going back to school, to listening to podcasts

or reading books.

Any avenue for new knowledge keeps you sharp,

interesting and valuable.

Fourth, you want to learn to become an effective leader.

This will grow your VQ faster than anything else.

Whether it's acting as a mentor, owning a project or

suggesting a new idea.

You want to show you have leadership abilities,

as they are extremely valuable to an organization.

You control your value.

So use this four part formula

to increase your VQ

and boost your financial confidence.

been really part of the family for how many years now?

- Well since our son was born, 14 years ago. His name is Micah and he's a beautiful kid.

Just started high school this year, he's loving it, he's enjoying it and things

that nature. And you know, it's been an interesting journey for us.

It's been a trying one and I mean I'm sure we can all share pretty much

the same stories in that respect.

And we've been advocates for Autism

Awareness since our son was diagnosed at two.

And we've been doing it ever since and

we've been running into beautiful people like yourselves.

Jenny, who's been amazing to my wife.

You gotta understand. Yeah, you gotta understand.

We're in the entertainment business and it's a lot of people in the entertainment business who

you know let's put it out, that's full of shit.

And I'm just speaking candidly, and you know there are a lot of people that we run into or we've run into since

everything has happened and you know you got a lot of people "Yeah call me girl you

know you call me yeah we'll get this together and we'll do this and we'll do

that..." and nothing ever happens.

And I don't think they really understand or

get that this isn't a PR thing. This isn't something that we're trying to do

to get likes on Instagram or to try to get some sort of like photo op or

something like that. This is for our kids and this is our son that we're

speaking about so when we speak to others concerning the health of our

child, mentally and otherwise, we're really

coming at real place. This isn't us trying to hobnob or anything like that.

And Jenny has been genuine since the beginning

with my wife like when she says call, she calls and she actually answers the phone.

- She answered the phone.

- Can you believe that?

- And she was very very busy, I think you had just started the job at The View. But she took the time and

said okay "If I don't answer, call me back. I'm extremely busy, but I promise I will

connect with you." I called back, she called me back on her break, and I will

never ever forget that, because that meant so much to me because

I was at a crossroad and I couldn't get anyone on the phone. And

you were the only one that took the time out of your busy schedule to share a

little bit of your journey and your resources to help me continue on

with my journey with Micah, so I say thank you

- [Jenny McCarthy] You're welcome.

- To add on, that's what this whole thing is about as we all know, having a relative

or a loved one affected by autism. To see progress is incremental, like it's

increments, it's little things, it's small things, it's small victories, it's small

defeats, and you start all over again. Things of that nature, so it's those

sentiments. It's those things that we do for each other, because we're all

connected. That's why we're all here so you know it's it takes those little

things whether it's a conversation, a hug, just email exchanges. Just to let each

other know that we're not alone and that we're in support of each other in this

crazy world that we're in right now.

- [Jenny McCarthy] And you know it's true, like you talked about those crossroads

which you guys I know a lot of you experienced and you will sometimes our

kids plateau and you're like I just I don't know whether to keep going or just

accept it and sometimes you just need to call someone to get that extra keep going

don't stop, right?

- [Sharhonda Stockman] Don't stop, yeah.

- Don't stop.

- Because our kids do benefit from our

hard work, you know for them.

And they feed off of our energy.

- Yeah.

- So when we're defeated they feel defeated. So even sometimes I

have go in the room and I'll cry and I'll scream and I'll throw stuff, because I'm

so frustrated. But I can't let him see it, because I'm his rock.

I'm his voice. I'm his advocate. So he'll keep going as long as he sees that I'm

still going.

How To Set Up A WordPress Blog Site | Setup WordPress Blog Tutorial.

Hey guys, Bryan with WP Cupid Blog and in this video I'm going to be showing you how

to set up a WordPress blog site step by step.

Whether your a newbie at technology, have no experience at blog starting, or even if

your a pro.

This how to set up a WordPress blog site tutorial will be perfect for you.

The great thing about this tutorial is it is extremely easy to follow along with even

if you have no experience in setting up a WordPress blog.

By following this tutorial video you will have your WordPress blog setup in as little

as 10 minutes.

At the end of this video you will have your WordPress blog successfully started.

The first step I'm going to cover is how to choose and register your own domain name for

free.

To have a WordPress blog you have to have a domain name.

Step 2 I'll be going over how to choose a hosting provider.

To have a blog you have to have hosting.

Step 3 is getting your WordPress blog setup.

If you don't have time to start your blog right this second be sure to bookmark this

video so you can come back to it later.

If you want to follow along on our blog I provided the link in the description as well

that provides step by step instructions with screenshots.

Let's get started.

Step #1 is registering a domain name for your blog.

If you aren't sure what a domain name is it's the name of your site ending in a .com, .net,

.org, etc.

The name of my blog for example is wpcupidblog.com.

I've been provided with an exclusive hosting discount along with a free domain name discount

So you'll be able to get a free domain name.

I've provided the link in the description below so you can get this free domain name

discount.

When you click the link, you will be taken to this page the Bluehost home page where

you can get your free domain name discount.

If you haven't already go ahead and click the link in the description and keep the link

up as we will be using it shortly.

Next, you want to get your blog online.

To get a blog up and running you need two things.

Blog hosting and blogging software.

I will be using the blogging software WordPress for this tutorial.

Some cool things about WordPress is it's the most popular blogging platform out there and

Fortune 500 companies use it.

If you want your blog to rank, be seen, and grow you definitely want WordPress.

It's easy to build a blog, customize a blog, and grow a blog.

The blog host that I recommend is Bluehost.

They will be providing you with a free domain name as I mentioned earlier by the link I

provided in the description.

Some things to know about Bluehost is they host over 2 million websites worldwide and

over 850,000 blogs around the world.

They are also recommended by WordPress themselves since 2005.

They instantly install WordPress for you which makes starting a blog that much easier.

They provide 24/7 support via chat, email, and phone.

And they have a 30 day money back guarantee.

I do want to mention that the link is an affiliate link and I'll receive a comission which helps

The first thing you want to do is head on over to Bluehost via the link if you already

haven't.

You'll see the get started now button on the page.

Click the button.

This is where you can select your hosting plan.

You'll see three different options.

You'll see a Basic plan, Plus plan, and a Prime plan.

I recommend going with the basic plan and then you can always scale up whenever you'd

like.

If you have more than one website then you'd want to choose either the plus plan or prime

plan.

I'm going to choose the basic plan for this tutorial as this is most common.

Go ahead and hit the select button on whichever plan you would like to use.

We are now brought to a domain page where we can choose the domain name that we want

completely free.

Or if you already have a domain name you'd enter it in over on the right.

For the new domain you can select if you want it to be a .com, .net, .org, etc…

.com is the most popular domain extension so I'd recommend going with a .com if you

can.

I'm going to type in a domain here and click the next button.

You are now brought to a create your account page.

This is where you will input your information.

We have first name, last name.

Business name is optional.

Put your country address information.

Put a phone number and lastly the best email for you as you'll get emailed a receipt

of payment and a copy of your login credentials, etc.

Below that you will see package information.

You'll see account plan.

This is where you can select the term for your hosting package.

You have 12 months, 24 months, and 36 months, and 60 months.

As you can see you'll save money the longer you purchase your hosting for.

I'm going to select the 12 months package.

Setup fee is free.

Domain is free.

You'll see site back up pro.

You can unselect this as there are free backup plugins you can use for your WordPress website.

Search Engine jumpstart you can keep unselected.

This isn't necessary to have.

Sitelock security find is security for your WordPress website and protects it from hackers.

I'd unselect this as there are really good free alternatives.

Domain Privacy is an addon that I highly recommend.

It will prevent telemarketers and marketers getting a hold of your personal contact information

and bugging you with their services.

The domain privacy will show Bluehost's information for the site and not yours.

All of these addons are completely optional and up to you to get.

As you can see your saving a lot for this hosting package.

Below that you will input your payment infromation.

I'm not going to fill this out for protection of personal information.

Once your information is filled in you want to select the I have read and agreed to Bluehost's

privacy policy and terms of service.

Now click the submit button.

You are now brought to a page where you will choose a password for your Bluehost account.

Click the creare your password button.

Input the password you would like.

Click the I have read and agreed to Bluehost's Privacy Policy and Terms and Condition and

click the next button.

You will be directed to a congratulations page.

Click the blue login button to login to Bluehost.

Bluehost is also going to at this time email your dashboard login information to the email

address you provided.

You will now see pick your Theme.

Bluehost has a bunch of awesome free WordPress themes to choose from.

You can select a Theme now if you want too or below the Themes you can click skip this

step.

If you choose a Theme now you can always change the theme you pick without any problem at

a later date.

I'll be going over this in more detail, later in the video.

Once you choose your free Theme you'll be at the page here stating all done.

Click the button that says start building to start building your blog on WordPress.

Once you click that and log in you will be at the WordPress dashboard.

This is what the WordPress dashboard looks like.

It'll ask you a few questions as you can see.

If you don't need help just click the you don't need help option.

Once you do that you will see this page.

You will see blog posts where you can add new blog posts.

You will see where you can add new pages to your blog.

If you want to change your navigation menus you can do so easily and if you are going

to sell products on your site you can install Woocommerce to do so.

On the far left you will see tabs.

Hover over them and get to learn them.

Posts is where you can add new posts.

Pages is where you can add new pages.

The media tab is where your images will show that you upload to your blog.

Comments is where you can view comments people leave on your blog.

Appearance is where you can change the look of your theme or change your theme to another

one or a Premium theme.

Select Themes when you hover over appareance.

It will showcase free WordPress themes to you can choose from.

If you select most popular it will show you the most popular free WordPress themes.

Hover over a Theme and click activate to make the Theme your WordPress theme.

You should also see add new theme on this page.

This is where you can add a new theme if you got it from another site or it is a Premium

Theme.

In the top left of your WordPress dashboard you will see welcome here or your site title

towards the top of the page.

Click this to view your site.

To login to your WordPress dashboard you can do so via the Bluehost CPanel or by typing

in your domain name with a slashwp-admin.

Here's an example.

It'll bring up this page here.

Just input your login credentials to be logged into WordPress.

This is what the Bluehost cPanel looks like.

You'll see here you can login to WordPress from it.

Over on the left hand side you can click the my sites which will pull up your current WordPress

sites along with other awesome things in that menu.

A great resource I have used for several years and recommend for professional WordPress themes

that look like an award winning design agency did your blog is Mojo Marketplace.

If you go to the navigation menu and hover over themes select wordpress themes.

You can browse WordPress themes or you can type in your industry with wordpress after

it to browse Premium WordPress themes related to your search.

Definitely check this site out.

Another great resource that is helpful and used by thousands of bloggers is the freelancing

platform freelancer.com.

Chase Pay | How to Set-up & Use Chase's Mobile Payment Platform - Duration: 5:19.

Hi there, it's Ernest from Trip Astute. In this video, we're exploring Chase Pay -- a

new service from Chase Bank that lets you pay online and in stores without

your credit card in hand.

(light chiming music)

In a previous video, we reviewed the second quarter

rotating bonus categories for the Chase Freedom and discussed how Chase Pay is

one of the 5% bonus categories. It seems like Chase is really trying to promote

their service, especially given the growth of mobile payment platforms

like Apple Pay, Android Pay, and Samsung Pay. So I think a lot of folks, including

myself, have wondered, "how does it work? Is it like Apple Pay or Android Pay?" Not

quite, to be honest. When using the app, it's more like a cross between Apple Pay

and paying with your Starbucks app, where you have to use a QR code that's scanned

by the cashier. This means that the number of places that can accept the

payment is limited but will likely grow over time. To activate Chase Pay, you can

either download the Chase Pay app from the Apple or Google App Store and login

with your Chase account username and password, or just go online and click on

the Chase Pay link in the right hand column of your account. You'll need to

determine which card will be your default card. You can then use Chase Pay

in two ways. If you look at the list of larger merchants that accept Chase Pay,

you'll see that they either accept it online or via the Chase Pay app. If they

accept the Chase Pay app, it means that you can pay in the store using the QR

code that's generated by the app. For example, eBags is listed as a store that

accepts Chase Pay online, whereas Best Buy is listed showing that

they accept the Chase Pay app. If we try to purchase an item from eBags.com, then

you'll see that we're given the option to use Chase Pay as the method of

payment. When we click on the link, we're then asked to log into our Chase account

to authorize the payment. To show how the app works, we made a small purchase

at Starbucks. You basically launch the Chase Pay app and select what card you

want to use, and then the screen displays a QR code. Once the QR code is read,

your transaction is approved. It's pretty easy and

seamless. So before you jump in and start using Chase Pay, here are a couple things

to keep in mind. Number 1: Chase Pay doesn't work with business accounts and

profiles. This really annoys me. I basically had to rely on Fiona's phone

to show you how it all works because I couldn't get my Chase Pay app to activate.

What I found out was that since I have my business and personal profiles merged

online, I'm unable to use Chase Pay. When they combined my account,

they basically moved all my personal accounts into my business one, which

means that the account registers as a business profile. Chase customer support

did offer to separate my accounts again, but I decided against it because I like

having that combined view. I don't know why Chase isn't allowing their business

accounts to use Chase Pay. Business account users still can't use Apple Pay either

on their Business Ink cards, so it doesn't really make any sense. But I'm

hoping they change it soon. Number 2: Cashiers often mistake Chase Pay with

Apple Pay or Android Pay. Don't be surprised if you have to tell cashiers

how to process your Chase Pay payments. When we tried to use it,

the cashier instructed us to hold the phone next to the reader, like you would

for Apple or Android Pay. We had to insist that they scan the QR code. Once

they did it worked, so just know that the technology is still a bit new so you

might have to explain how Chase Pay is different than other payment platforms

when making a purchase in store. Number 3: Check offers in the app. The Chase

Pay app will show offers that you can take advantage of, as well as local

merchants that accept Chase Pay. Fiona noticed that she had a $10

welcome offer loaded on her app for using Chase Pay for the first time.

Number 4: Redeeming points for gift cards. While I don't recommend doing this

since you can often get more value using your points for travel, you do have the

option of redeeming points toward gift cards which can be then directly loaded

into the app as an e-gift card. It looks really convenient, but again, if you're

trying to get the most value for your points, I suggest redeeming them for

travel. Number 5: If you have a Chase Freedom Card, make sure you activate the

bonus category. Chase has been offering a 5% bonus for Chase Pay this

past quarter and continue to offer the bonus from

April to June 2018. If you have a Chase Freedom Card, make sure you also activate

back on veiled allegory.

Penn claims to Colbert that he is on Ambien, but it's apparent that Penn is a hot mess,

and it's not due to Ambien as the leftist media is reporting.

"A sleepy Sean Penn mumbled his way through an interview on 'The Late Show with Stephen

Colbert' thanks to an airplane and some Ambien," reports Page Six.

"I'm doing well," Penn, 57, told his host on Monday's episode.

"You've inherited a little of the Ambien I had to take to get to sleep after a red-eye

last night."

When Colbert, 53, asked if Penn was still under the influence of the doze-inducing drug,

own hot temper on movie sets, drove him to write a novel.

Right, a novel about assassinating the sitting President of the United States.

Penn said, "I increasingly don't play well with others.

So it becomes less enjoyable.

I love that process when I love it, but I'm not loving it anymore and that's why I finally

came around to writing a novel because I didn't have collaborators.

I was never disappointed with me."

We all know the leftist actor smooched it up with Communist Dictator Hugo Chavez, and

so it's no wonder a true patriot like Donald Trump would cause Sean Penn to lose his mind.The

audience wasn't amused, especially when Penn launched into his utter amazement with

the "Parkland Five."

The "Parkland Five" is led by David Hogg and his sidekick Emma Gonzalez.

These are the teens who CNN rocketed to stardom after the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas

High School.

Penn thinks these new "tragedy celebrities" have all the answers to fix America.

Well, the audience's nervous laughter was bad enough, but immediately social media lit

up, reacting to Penn's drug-fueled nonsense.
