Youtube daily plus Mar 3 2018

Hey its Bey, and today I'm going to be reviewing the Speck Presidio Grip Case.

I have the the White and Black version on my iPhone 8 Plus and the Eclipse Blue and

Carbon Black version on my Samsung Galaxy Note 8.

I'll put some links in the description to Amazon if you're interested.

The boxes are identical on both cases.

On the front, it says that the Presidio Grip has up to 10 feet of drop protection which

is really good, and it also tells you that the case has two layers of protection that

they call Impactium Shock Barrier that helps give the case it's 10 feet drop rating.

On the back, it shows the features of the case and the lifetime warranty.

On the inside, it pretty much lists the same features and you also have the case itself.

The case just pops out easily and I like that because you don't have to fumble with the

packaging to get the case out.

The insides of the cases are rubber which won't scratch your phone and the sides of

the insides have ridges to help with drops.

You also have the Speck logo and some other stuff on the inside that is embossed.

To put on the cases, all you have to do is put one side of the phone into the case and

then snap the opposite side into place.

When I first put the case one and held the phone in my hands, I immediately felt how

grippy it was.

On the back of the case, there are little rubber strips that are rounded and some of

them go over to the sides of the case.

My palm rests really nicely on the grip whether I'm using my left hand or my right hand.

The grip also feels really nice when you're using your phone in landscape mode like when

you're playing a game or watching a video.

When you lay your phone down on a flat surface, the grip helps to prevent your phone from

moving which is nice.

Also on the back, you have a little Speck logo towards the top right corner of the case.

I really appreciate how they kept their logo subtle because it gives the case a less flashy,

more minimalist look.

Speck says that these cases have a scratch resistant finish.

The back has a matte texture and it feels very durable.

I haven't use these cases for very long, but I'm very confident that they will last for

a long time.

Of course, you got your cutouts for everything.

On the iPhone, the camera cutout is nice and wide.

The vibrate switch cutout large enough and I can use the switch with no problems.

The speaker cutouts are exact and the lightning port cutout is large so you'll have no problem

fitting third party cables.

On the Note 8, the cutout for the cameras, flash and fingerprint sensor is great because

I can easily find the fingerprint sensor without having to look at my phone.

On the top, you have a cutout for your microphone and on the bottom, you have cutouts for your

headphone jack, charging port, microphone, speakers, and S-Pen.

The S-Pen cutout is large enough and I have had no problems taking the S-Pen out and putting

it back in.

I really like how the buttons feel with this case on.

It has rubber texture that makes it very easy to feel out so you know where to press even

when you're note looking at your phone and they still feel very tactile and responsive.

Overall, the Speck Presidio Grip Case is an amazing cases that will protect your phone

and give your phone some grip.

If you own a phone with a glass back like the iPhone 8 Plus, Note 8, or iPhone 10, I

highly recommend getting this case.

These cases go for about $45 which is a bit pricey, but it's definitely worth the investment

especially if your phone costs 1,000 dollars.

I also really love that Speck includes a Lifetime Warranty with these cases and they come in

a bunch of different colors.

As always, I'll leave a link in the description to Amazon if you're interested in purchasing

this case.

Oh yeah, both of these cases support wireless charging if you're wondering about that.

That was my video review of the Speck Presidio Grip Case for the iPhone 8 Plus and the Samsung

Galaxy Note 8.

Livestream Update, Plus a Ravelry Coupon - Duration: 5:39.

-Hey guys, it's me Lizfaerie -And Joey

-And you might have noticed there was no stream last week.

-That's because we've been sick.

We've been getting over a cold.

-You might still be able to hear it in our voices, so I apologize if that's a thing.

-Anyway, we've been talking about how the livestreams are going to work for the past

few days.

-Yeah. And we're going to be changing the format from how we did it in the previous

couple of streams. -After the experience we had of actually doing the streams, there's a couple of things

that we noticed that we want to try and change.

-So first and foremost, we're doing away with the tutorialized aspect of the stream.

We tried it, and I don't think it really works.

It doesn't make a good livestream, because I'm constantly just shouting the instructions, and

I'm interrupting the flow of our conversation, and I'm getting so caught up in what I'm doing, that I'm not

even watching the thing we're watching.

I'm not even sure anyone was following along with the pattern.

No one bought the pattern, so

I'm assuming no one was really following along.

You guys can correct me if I'm wrong.

But it seems like no one was really enjoying the pattern aspect of the stream.

So we're just going to get rid of it.

-But you might ask, "Then what even are you doing during these streams?"

-Well, we're going to do be doing exactly the same thing.

We're still going to make a project, and watch media related to the project I'm making.

But I'm not going to show you what I'm doing constantly, like I would during a normal tutorial.

-You're just going to be making it while we watch and chat.

-Yeah.

So instead of making the pattern available for purchase right away, I'll be making a

rough draft version of a pattern, that will be available on Patreon for free.

-For free?

-Yeah, that's right, free.

Bear in mind, though, that this will be a rough draft version of the pattern only.

I won't have all the details hammered out, and that's actually what the stream is for.

We'll be going through the rough draft, and filling in the details, making any corrections,

to prepare the pattern to go on sale the next month.

-And will Patrons still get a discount for the pattern?

-Yes, Patrons will still get the discount on the final pattern when it becomes available

for sale the next month.

So if you stay a Patron for a couple months in a row, you'll have access to the pattern

discount, as well as being able to watch the livestream on youtube, after the livestream

is already over.

-So essentially, we'll be testing the pattern during the stream?

-Exactly!

So if I come across a mistake in the pattern, I can talk about that, or if there's any particular

techniques I'm using to make the project.

But I won't be reading out the whole pattern, and I won't be showing everything I'm doing

to the camera.

-Wait, so are you ever going to post a tutorial for the pattern to the channel?

-Well, that depends.

After the final pattern comes out the next month, maybe I'll make a video tutorial to

post to the channel in my normal format if the pattern is popular enough.

-So what about the end of last month's livestream pattern?

Are we going to finish it?

-Well, enough people watched the first parts during the livestream that it feels

kind of weird to not finish it.

So I'll be posting a full tutorial in my usual format to the channel in a couple of weeks.

-Alright, so what are we going to be testing this month?

-So for this month, on March 11, we'll be making Alice from Alice in Wonderland, and

we'll be watching the classic movie.

-and maybe another movie since that one's so short.

-Yeah.

And the free rough draft pattern will be available to Patrons on the day of the stream, on March

11.

And then after we've spent a stream testing the pattern, I'll make any corrections that

need to be made to the pattern on my own, or add in any details I need to add.

Then I'll post the final pattern to Ravelry the next month, in April.

That will give you guys a chance to sign up for Patreon before April, so you can have

access to the discount.

-You guys can sign up for Patreon for as little as 1 dollar a month, and aside from having

access to these free rough draft patterns, you'll also get some other perks, such as:

-Your name will scroll through the credits of every video I make during the months you're

pledged.

You'll also gain access to tutorials earlier than everyone else, since I post my tutorials

to Patreon before they're available here on Youtube.

-And if you donate at a higher level, you'll unlock even more rewards.

-There's additional discounts on livestream patterns, discounts on all patterns, or even

a free amigurumi made by me.

-So make sure you check out Patreon.com/faerierings.

-There'll be a link in the description below, or you could click the card at the top of

the screen.

-Another quick update, we'll be trying to move to a larger place in the next couple

of months, so we've been trying to save some money.

-If you can't donate on Patreon you can make a one time payment through paypal, I'll

put a link in the description below where you can paypal me.

Or, if you want to purchase some of the patterns in my Ravelry store, use the coupon code "MOVEMARCH"

for a 10% discount on a 5 dollar purchase.

Any support you can give us will be appreciated!

And one final update.

We're going to start making another series of livestreams on Wednesdays soon, to show

off my Works-in-progress.

-Those of you that joined us for the other streams seemed to enjoy seeing some projects

Liz is in the process of making.

-So we're going to start doing work-in-progress streams on Wednesday nights, at 7 o'clock

pacific standard time, starting next Wednesday, the 7th of March.

Then we'll post a highlights reel to the channel the next Wednesday, March 14th.

-And again, the full unlisted stream will be available to Patrons after it's already

over, so make sure you sign up for Patreon!

-Ok, I think that's all we needed to tell you guys.

So we'll see you for the Wednesday stream on the 7th of March, at 7.

Then we'll see you again on the 11th for the Alice stream.

-See you on Wednesday!

Bye!

iPhone 8 Plus Screen Replacement and Waterproofing | Pro Version - Duration: 9:17.

As always we are going to start by making sure that our phone is powered

down. And next we have two pentalobe screws adjacent to the lightning port

that need to be removed. If this tutorial seems to move too fast or you don't have

a lot of experience repairing phones I recommend you check out the detailed

tutorial linked in the video description. The iPhone 8 plus opens up from left to

right something like a book. We have cables here and here that you need to

watch out for on the inside and a set of clips that go along the top that lock in

underneath the housing on the frame. So we have to make sure that we slide this

down slightly before we start prying it open this direction. From here I like to

apply heat. If you don't have a heat gun you can use a hairdryer it will help to

make the adhesive slightly easier to work with.

You'll need a pry tool like an iSesamo or something similar. Personally I prefer

to use a dulled razor blade as I find that it is thinner and easier to get in

between the gap that we need to kind of prop open here. Once you've got it

separated its good to go in here with something a little thinner. My personal

favorite recently has been a water proof playing card dipped in rubbing alcohol.

Just gonna run this along the side pretty much around the perimeter of the

phone. There is one area at the top right hand corner that you won't be able to

get through so you can go ahead and skip over that. Once you've loosened the

adhesive a bit you might find it helpful to switch over to a slightly thicker pry

tool like a guitar pick. That way we can kind of create a gap that we'll be able

to grab a hold of so that we can pull the display forward and slide it down

from the top end. Make sure you don't skip this part we do need to slide this

down so we have a gap at the top before we open up the phone and once everything

is cleared you can very carefully pry it open. Just remember that we do have

cables on the right-hand side so we don't want this thing to flop all the

way over and put stress on those.

Once you have the screen propped open you're going to remove two Y000 Tri lobe and four ph000

Phillips screws from the retaining panels. After you get all the

screws out go ahead and remove the cover plate from the battery and display

connector and also the one that goes behind the connector for the

front-facing camera.

We have four connectors to disconnect. I recommend you do them in this order.

The number one that you see on this image is for the battery and we want to get that

unplugged first. From there we can unplug this cable and if you lift it up you'll

see that there is another one that is sort of obscured from view before you

disconnect it. And then of course we want to unplug the cable for the front-facing

camera assembly.

There are four Y000 Tri-lobe screws that hold on a retaining panel behind the

home button. Go ahead and remove those and the retaining plate itself. If your

replacement part does not include the big metal panel that goes behind the LCD

you'll have to remove the six additional screws and transfer it over. Notice that

five of them are Y000 and the one at the bottom right-hand corner

shown here is Phillips. And next we want to stabilize the lower cable while we

disconnect the home button flex and it opens up over to the side. Just be

careful that you don't damage anything in the process. We're now going to pry

behind the cable with a playing card that has been soaked in rubbing alcohol.

Be very careful. You don't want this cable to bend.

The more that you keep it straight the less chances you have of damaging

anything that's on it and of course we want to make sure that we don't actually

cut through the cable so do make sure that you maneuver around that little peg

where it sets and from there once it's separated you can drop it through the

front of the housing. Now I like to transfer these over immediately. So we're

gonna move this cable out of the way and make sure that we slide this one

underneath it and then and once you get everything lined back up and stick

it down we can plug it back in. There are five total screws at the upper end of

the display. You can see on the right hand side there there's actually two

inside of that one circle. All five of these need to be removed. Once they're

out you can go ahead and pull this retaining panel off and fold your front

facing camera over to the left-hand side to reveal the speaker and that can come

out at this point also. From here you're going to have adhesive all over the

place so be very careful when you remove this cable. You certainly do not want to

tear it and you're going to have to get the proximity sensor out from inside of

the little plastic piece on the front and then pry behind the cable here and

also along the bottom where those four gold discs are located. Again if you want

to use some alcohol that can make this a little easier apply some heat as well

and that usually gets the job done.

We are going to remove this small piece of double-sided tape. If this gets

damaged in the process you can always replace it but I'm going to transfer

this over to my new display so that we have something for these cables to stick

on. Now go ahead and lay this back down inside. You can see there are a couple of

couple of pegs that will help you to align that area where the disks are and

then just lay everything back into the same position it was. Again, make sure

that your proximity sensor goes inside with a little plastic piece to keep it

centered. Once everything's laying nice and flush you can go ahead and replace the

speaker and then take the front-facing camera cable and wrap it around making

sure that that goes inside of the plastic dust cover on the right-hand

side and then we can replace the retaining panel and the five screws. This

is a little bit like tying your shoe so you've got to kind of hold everything in

place while you get this metal panel back on. It does take a bit of practice

but make sure that all of these screws go back into their respective holes. From

here we're going to remove all of the residual adhesive that was left on the

frame so we want to have a nice clean surface to work with before we apply our

new adhesive. From here we'll peel off the bottom layer of plastic and be

careful not to touch the sticky stuff if you do it will not be as sticky as it

was before you started. The fun part here is now. We have to align this thing

perfectly and you only will get one shot at it so I recommend that you buy a few

of these if you don't have quite a bit of practice with installing them. It

usually takes me at least once or twice to get this thing lined up straight so I

wouldn't recommend just buying one because it's too easy for these to go

wrong. Once you have it stuck down we're just gonna go around the perimeter and

make sure it adheres to the frame before we slowly remove this upper piece of

plastic. There is a third piece that goes around the edges so there's nothing

sticky right now where I'm touching. All I'm doing is peeling off this layer and

it's nice the way that they make these because you've got a piece that goes

around the edges so nothing's going to stick into onto the phone until we go

ahead and remove that. Now that we've got the plastic off

we can go ahead and plug our screen back in. I like to start here at the top in

this position. I find this the easiest way to reconnect the camera and then we

can spin the phone around and plug in our remaining two cables and then of

course make sure that you do connect the battery last. Put those retaining panels

back into place and we'll put our two Y000 and four PH000 triple

zero screws back into the panels. From here we have one last piece of plastic

to remove. I recommend you take your time I am going to speed up the camera to get

through this but the slower you go the safer you'll be as far as not pulling

the adhesive off of the frame. If that happened you're probably going to have

to go back and reinstall it and that's what we want to avoid.

Once you've got it all off we want to make sure there's a gap at the top so

that we can get our latches down inside and then we can work around the edges

and get the display fully installed on to the housing. From here we just have to

work our way around make sure everything is sitting nice and flush and

if it looks like this you did the job right. It is time to get the last two

pentalobe screws into the bottom and power it up.

And there we have a functional iPhone 8 plus screen as close to being as

water-resistant as it was from the factory as possible. If you found the

video helpful be sure to hit the like button, subscribe, and check out our

weekly tech talk livestream. Have a great one and thanks for watching

[Honkai Impact 3rd] Myriad Abyss 26F at 67k° plus Mini-Guide Part 2 for V.Triumph - Duration: 5:17.

CC is added. Disable it if you're not interested on the mini-guide.

Hello everyone, welcome back for another mini-guide!

This will be a part 2 for my Valkyrie Triumph mini-guide.

If you haven't seen the part 1, the link is in the video description.

Part 1 is all about cancelling or preventing VT's QTE to trigger as well as the reason why you shouldn't use it.

Without further ado, let's get started. This mini-guide will be about attack rotations and a small gear talk when it comes to V.Triumph.

I'll start with my new attack rotation for DB-VR-VT team.

The reason why this gets an update is due to the availability of a new stigmata, Theresa Origins M.

Theresa Origins M is a free stigmata given from a previous event. It reduces weapon skill cooldown by 30%.

This stigmata is mandatory for Valkyrie Ranger on abyss. The better version is Siegfried M with -40% cooldown.

Pairing VR with Dimension Break is common for the extended freeze trick.

Casting Water Spirit Type-II's weapon skill followed by a switch to DB will create a freeze that lasts long thanks to the timelock provided by DB.

But now that Theresa Origins M can be used, this will let VR to quickly re-freeze the enemy much earlier so you can repeat the freeze+timelock combo w/o letting the enemy retaliate.

Yes, it simply means you can infinitely freeze the enemy as long as you can keep rotating the freeze and timelocks.

There is a catch though, for an enemy to take full duration of debuffs, they need to have 0 shields or simply, broken shields.

If you focus on the attack rotations too much and didn't notice the enemy shields, it might lead to a surprise attack so be very careful.

For example, a Honkai Crush with shields can end the freeze+timelock much earlier compared to the shieldless mobs.

And would attack you as soon as they are able to, and if you didn't notice it immediately, that can be fatal.

That's why if you noticed in this video, I always try to be cautious when attacking the debuffed enemies.

I would sometimes shorten my attacks to just 1-charged attack (2 swings) because the enemy might suddenly retaliate.

As for my full attack rotation, I now take advantage of Theresa Origins M.

As usual, start with VR's evasion skill to unleash a Blackhole. Followed by Type-II's weapon skill and then switching to DB for timelock.

I would then do a charged attack (2 swings) which is sometimes followed by another charged attack or just a normal tap to maximize the SP regen.

Now use Blade Field to extend the freeze debuff like how timelock extends debuffs. Followed by 2 charged attacks (4 swings).

Switch back to VR and do some normal taps to regenerate some SP. Once Type II can be used, cast it again and do 2-3 taps.

Switch to DB for timelock and this time you can use Tyr's weapon skill afterwards if you have the weapon for an extra burst.

FInally, switch back to VT to do 2 charged attacks again.

If you're confident that all enemies doesn't have shields, switch back to VR and freeze them again and restart the rotation.

That's the full attack rotation. If that's too long to remember, I'll post a summary in the pinned post below.

Now, unto the small gear talk.

There was a commenter on one of my other video, I'm referring to the 18F Myriad fail video.

This commenter said that Blood Dance is required for Himeko on Myriad.

I don't agree. The damage increase of Blood Dance and Balmung for a physical valk barely has any difference. Different application but both are strong enough.

The heal of Blood Dance is extremely negligible when it comes to Myriad and the only time I would agree that Blood Dance is better is when it comes to elemental Himeko valks.

Another thing this commenter said is that VR should be using a tank build. Basically a high HP pool build.

Again, I don't agree. It might work on lower temperatures but on high temperatures with really painful bleed, it just won't work, more so if it's Myriad.

Reason why is because having a high HP pool only decreases the effectiveness of heals and health packs.

What you need is good sustain in the form of either healing back the HP or mitigating the bleed damage from abyss.

This means that the best stigmata to drastically improve the survivability of the support, which is VR in this case is to use Lier Scarlet's 2-pc set effect.

A poorman's build would be to use Rowland T and Rinaldo B, the heals from these stigmatas would try to counter the bleed as much as possible.

Remember, increasing the max HP is simply just that, it has zero increase on your efficiency.

And that sums up this mini-guide! I hope you guys enjoyed~

A BEAUTIFULLY EMERGING TREND FOR PLUS SIZE MODELS

While featuring slim, svelte models on the cover of top magazines has been a norm for

quite some time a change of trend has become noticeable.

With a recent addition of Sports illustrated magazine featuring a Full Size Model (Ashley

Graham), American audience is suddenly taking notice of their beauty.

It's not wrong to say that a large majority of American population falls under the Full

Size Category that has so far been largely ignored.

With this recent change in trend it is this major part of the population that has been

covered and people have begun to notice the fullness of beauty in these Plus Size Models

USA.

Curvy Fashion ModelsBest Plus Size Trends

Women across the world are elated to see successful models and beautiful women gracing the fashion

stage, who bear closer resemblance to the shape and size of average working women.

Not only do they show the average women population the different styles they can adapt for looking

more poised and confident, but also set an example for women who cannot hire personal

dietitian and trainer.

The Fashion Industry was previously confined to working with woman who seems to be prototypes.

However, these Plus Size Models top are not only evolving as successful but are also contributing

to the body positivity movement.

Outfits For Curvy Beauties

Women like Candice Huffine illustrate that being a successful model requires talent and

slim figure is not a pre requisite.

She refused to lose weight for the demanding agents, and is now a successful Plus Size

Model.

If you are a Plus Size Woman you can derive a lot of inspiration from these successful

models who teach you to flaunt your curves rather than hide it.

Lane Bryant is one of the biggest contributors of the body positivity movement and has always

strives to create Plus Size Models Outfit that are fashion forward and trendy.

In collaboration with Christian Siriano she introduced clothing lines that resemble the

fashionable and trendy garments sported by top models.

These Plus Size Models Outfits are available in stores across US, and curvaceous beauties

can purchase the outfits they see on the runway.

Both Candice Huffine and Ashley Graham were present at the event, and they not only created

a positive change by their show of confidence, but also turned heads with their beauty, poise,

and skillful show of curves.

Not only models but curvy bloggers are joining the Plus Size Movement and are showing the

world that 'size doesn't define beauty'.

Market Plus: Elaine Kub - Duration: 8:01.

Howell: This is the Friday, March 2, 2018

version of the Market Plus segment.

Joining us now is Elaine Kub.

Elaine, welcome back.

Kub: Hi.

Howell: Elaine, there has been a lot going on this

week when we look at international news.

We hit on a little bit during the show about

President Trump's retaliatory tariffs.

There have been a lot of Twitter questions and

social media questions about this as well.

How long do you think we're going to have to

wait and see before this really plays out in the

markets?

Kub: I really hope, Delaney, that it gets

reversed, this decision gets reversed or rethought

very quickly.

But obviously you and I talking here maybe doesn't

do much but if folks get in touch with their

legislators maybe that will motivate people.

I know that all of the trade organizations have

come out saying this is a bad idea.

So I think we just need to keep on repeating that

refrain and hopefully that message will get through.

And so hopefully this never even happens, right,

fingers crossed.

But how long would it take for our trading partners

to respond?

I think they already have started responding.

I think we saw Europe has already declared that

they're going to have retaliatory measures

against Harley Davidson, etcetera.

And like we mentioned on the show -- Howell: -- I

think too was another one.

Kub: Oh great.

Like we mentioned on the show, China has already

demonstrated, they don't say it in so many words,

but already demonstrated with the milo export

scenario that they don't like having import

restrictions or export restrictions placed on

them.

So yeah, it's not a great idea and hopefully it gets

reversed quickly because the responses will be

lightning fast.

Howell: Do you see any more impact on the soybean

export markets from China specifically?

We're already way behind USDA's pace.

Kub: Yes we are, we're I think 13% behind.

We could certainly get father behind, especially

when Brazil's crop is going to meet its

expectations probably.

So they don't have to come ot the United States,

certainly not.

Howell: Elaine, you had a really great Twitter

graphic earlier in the week about how we were

almost penny for penny on pace where we were at this

time last year in the soybean markets.

Do you expect us to continue following that

trend from last year?

Kub: I think the corn market, I kind of think it

will just sort of dwindle downwards toward the

summer now.

The soybeans are slightly different because last

year there was sort of a run up because of some

flooding as Argentina was harvesting.

I don't know exactly that soybeans will follow penny

for penny as they have continued but it is

uncanny how closely they have followed, not just

the same pattern because analysts see that all the

time.

You see a same La Nina weather pattern and you

say oh, 2018 will be just like 1995 or whatever year

there was a La Nina and you do see those same

seasonal patterns.

But with the 2017 to 2018 comparison it's not just

the same pattern, it's the exact same prices, it's

the exact same futures spreads, it's the exact

same outlook, it's the exact same everything and

it's the exact same crop insurance reference prices

from February, those are exactly the same.

Howell: It is.

And crop insurance reference prices this year

were a couple cents higher I think in corn or

soybeans compared to last year?

Kub: Corn is $3.96 exact same, soybeans is $10.16,

$10.17, which I think is a few cents lower than last

year, but profitability wise most of the

projections that you see, you still see that

favoring soybeans profitability wise

compared to last year and certainly compared

historically.

That is almost a 2.6 to 1 ratio which is favorable

to soybeans on a historical basis.

Howell: Okay.

Elaine, let's take it to a social media question.

We have Philip in Ontario, Canada @agridome.

He says, corn has been a reluctant follower of

#soybeans, in 2016 June 18th was the new crop

high, in 2017 early July.

What calendar time slot does December 18th top out

this year?

Kub: Is he referencing corn or soybeans or both I

suppose?

Howell: That's a good question.

Corn, yeah.

Kub: Okay, so yeah we do tend to see, like I

mentioned, these seasonal patterns and you do tend

to see a summer high.

This past summer that summer high didn't come

until July but part of that was because planting

was late, everything was just development wise a

couple of weeks late this past summer.

So this summer I guess it depends on planting and

weather.

Just really I think fundamentally what we're

looking for is when the crop is at its most

agronomic risk, when it has the most production

risk in its growing season.

So whenever that is usually late July,

mid-June to early July, that is when we watch for

those opportunities.

But I don't think it's a great idea or anybody to

be looking for the one magic date, as much as I

put out these charts about this is the date that this

happened in certain other years, that's not really

the game.

The game is to make nice average sales that you get

many opportunities to have a good overall average

price in your sales, in your marketing.

Howell: Definitely.

Elaine, when we look at other news in the corn

markets projections this year are supposed to be,

production is supposed to be outpacing our total

corn usage.

Do you expect that to hold true?

Kub: Yes.

I think it would require multiple years of a crop

disaster for us to ever draw down these extremely

large inventories.

We are looking at a long-term or at least a

mid-term, near-term, several years' term aspect

of having large supplies, large inventories and

therefore no real chance of a really strong supply

driven rally.

Howell: Okay.

Elaine, let's talk about cotton because we often

times throw that one to the side during the

regular program.

We've seen a pretty good rally here in the cotton

markets.

Do we expect that to continue?

Or have we put in our price high for the moment?

Kub: I think it's sort of, it ran up to 84 cents and

then it dropped back down and it looks like it's

bouncing again but I personally think that it's

going to find resistance there.

I think the end users in East Asia have decided

that they are not willing to pay more than that.

They have already bought up most of the supply that

they feel they're going to need to spin this year so

I don't think we're going to find a lot of buyers

who are willing to pay much more than that 84

cent level.

It's still a fairly good bullish-ish market from a

supply perspective, especially

internationally, so I don't necessarily think

it's going to fall too far.

It may just bounce along near that 84 cent level

but I don't think it will be able, if it wasn't able

to break past that before I think that we've

established a top.

Howell: Do you expect that we will continue to sit at

these levels even with Brazil's weather impact?

I think the Mato Grosso area is a pretty key

cotton producing region.

Kub: Yeah, it's hard to say but the marketing

patterns or the buying patterns of those East

Asian spinners suggest that they have already

made the purchases that they need for this year.

So I don't know that at this point for the next

six months or so that La Nina, no matter what

happens, can affect that too badly.

Howell: Okay, Elaine, I kind of want to end on,

again, going back to the trade boards.

Do we expect cotton to get hit with this too?

Kub: Very possibly.

It could be everything, it could be anything, to the

degree that China is the one who directly goes out

there and makes these decisions to not purchase

U.S.

goods, they're maybe not as big of a player in

cotton as they are in some of these other markets

that we are so dependent on soybeans being the big

one.

But still, this is not great, it's not a great

reputation to have internationally that you

are going to be an unreasonable or

unpredictable trading partner.

Howell: Alright.

Elaine Kub, on that note, thank you so much for

joining me.

Kub: Thank you.

Howell: Join us again next week when we'll examine

the potential for a trade war and breaking the

impasse in Washington over biofuels.

Sue Martin will sit across from me at the Market to

Market table.

So until then, thanks for watching, listening or

reading.

I'm Delaney Howell.

Have a good week.
