Strong Women Are Often The Most Insecure, Here Is Why - Duration: 4:19.

you

strong women are those who will not compromise on their values they know

what is good for them and what is not and they will make sure that the latter

doesn't touch them this is why she will never tolerate people who spread

toxicity people think try to bring her down by accusing her of having standards

which are too high and mighty whereas in reality she is just putting her own

wellness first that is why she doesn't have any time for a guy who does not

value her and disrespects her she will not give others the power to bring her

down and she expects the same high standards from her own self as well she

knows that she has the potential to reach great heights and so she will make

sure that she is doing everything that is needed to be there but she is just

human and she also has her ups and downs but she's very hard on herself on the

days when she hasn't performed up to her high standards she gets insecure when

she doesn't feel that her progress is corresponding to the goals she wants to

reach nothing will ever be enough for her because she would always find ways

in which she could have done better and achieved more she will never be

satisfied and thus never stagnant because she expects so much of herself

she also gets scared easily she gets terrified when she is not able to

register her progress as worthy enough she works so hard in checking off all

the boxes on her to-do lists and yet she is scared that she is lacking somewhere

but she never lets these insecurities become visible

she has become a master in hiding her fears deep within herself so that her

friends enclosed ones don't get a clue of how scared she really is sadly this

also means that they cannot tell her how well she is doing when she is feeling

defeated and anguished a word of encouragement from one of her friends

would mean the world to her and give her the strength to keep going on but they

have no clue that she needs any such reminder because they get the impression

that she has it all under control and therefore they don't need to explicitly

tell her how wonderful she is and these friends are the luckiest souls in the

world really because she is very selective those people whom she does

call her own have all her love and attention she will go to any lengths to

make them feel happy and loved she does everything for them so that

they know how valued they are she takes care of her parents her boyfriend and

her friends all their likes and dislikes are known to her but it can be so tiring

to look after so many people and then herself no wonder she feels drained and

yet she never gives up she gives without restrain and yet somehow find it within

herself to have the energy to go after her goals as well she doesn't let her

insecurities hold her back yes they get to her but they don't stop her from

striving to be the best version of herself that's why she keeps at it even

when success is not guaranteed and her perseverance is the reason why she will

ultimately succeed she knows what her limits are and she will keep working at

it till she has transcended them she will never be satisfied with the

mediocre because she knows she is worthy of the best and she will work hard till

she gets it

We May Not Be Able To Visit Space In The Future- Here's Why - Duration: 6:57.

We Will Not Be Able To Visit Space In The Future- Here's Why

What comes to your mind when someone mentions "outer space" to you?

Most of us would think of the science classes we attended in middle school and fragments

of information about planets and solar system would come back, PAINFULLY!

But for those of you who are obsessed with sci-fi movies, you probably visualize space

suit clad astronauts jetting off to some unknown planet in a hi-tech rocket and return with

vital discoveries about aliens.

Oh the imaginative kinds, you see!

No matter to which of the two groups you belong to, you probably have never thought about

the possibility of a ban on entering space.

Well, that might happen, in the far future but the possibility is bright!

We can all agree on one thing about space, it is unbelievably large and there is a vast

distance between stars.

But you'd be surprised to know that the vast majority of human activity in space occurs

in a narrow slice just 2,000 km above the Earth's surface, known as Low Earth Orbit

or LEO.

This is where the international space station is located and also where 2,000 commercial

and government satellites do the rounds to provide everything our television sets show

us.

Now that we have painted a rosy picture of space, let's tell you that not everything

that runs in the LEO is good, humans have to worry about things.

What are those?

LEO is not only home to space station and satellites, it also houses tremendous amounts

of garbage and debris that humans have been leaving behind them, ever since they first

visited outer space.

It's strange how humans have come a long way with technological advancements but with

their stupidity, are ready to undo the progress made so far!

If you don't see it as a big problem, know that this debris can prevent us from visiting

space again for several generations and that would be a setback on our current technological

advancements, it'll act like a reverse gear and drive us back to an era where going to

moon was a distant dream!

Most of this junk consists of tiny objects like dust from solid rocket motors, flakes

of paint eroded off of vehicle surfaces, or leaked frozen coolant from nuclear satellites.

That might sound nothing significant till you know that there are 100 million junk pieces

of less than 1cm size that are zipping at a speed of 22,000kmph or faster.

You know what's worse?

There are also an estimated 500 thousand pieces of junk between 1 centimeter and 10 centimeters

wide whizzing in the LEO.

Those aren't just innocent bits in space because they may strike your spaceship with

high velocity, destroy it and kill you!

We know you focused on the part that such a collision can kill the astronauts but that's

not the most horrifying news here.

The focus is on collisions, did you miss the point?

When such a collision happens, the satellite or spaceship disintegrates to more pieces

and what will these pieces do?

Yes, revolve in space, waiting to collide with other satellites!

That will create more particles who will whizz out to collide with more objects and the cycle

continues till we enter the Kessler Syndrome!

Proposed by the NASA scientist Donald J. Kessler in 1978, it is a scenario in which the density

of objects in low earth orbit (LEO) is high enough that collisions between objects could

cause a cascade where each collision generates space debris that increases the likelihood

of further collisions.

Now that's scary!

If you are thinking that the particles would be destroyed or would disappear before such

vast and regular destructions occur, you are wrong.

If you lose anything in space, it generally sticks around for a pretty long time.

Space junk will take centuries to enter into Earth's atmosphere and burn up on its own.

If collisions keep on happening, the number of random particles moving at crazy speeds

would increase and the Low-Earth-Orbit would effectively be like a constant shooting range.

If things go like this then that day is not far when we won't be able to launch a satellite

into space with success because it will be destroyed right away!

This would mean that future space missions would be nothing less than suicides!

While on one side we are warning you about accidental collisions in space that can prove

to be threatening for us as well as the future generations, some intentional collisions are

also made to happen.

Does that shock you?

Back in 2007, the Chinese government tested an anti-satellite missile by using one to

destroy one of their own satellite in LEO, producing over 2,000 golf ball sized or larger

fragments as well as over 150,000 tiny debris particles.

In 2011, some of the debris from this test passed a mere 6 kilometers away from the international

space station.

Should we call it an intentional mistake or simply unawareness?

Another example of a full blown debris comes from the now defunct ENVISAT satellite launched

by the European Space Agency in 2002.

All was well when this satellite was launched and it stayed the same way for a decade but

in 2012 contact with it was lost and it turned into an 8000 kilogram piece of junk!

It is likely to remain in Earth's orbit for another 100-150 years and since the rate

of collision will increase in the coming years, it is only a matter of time when this satellite

disintegrates and causes hell lot of particles to run crazy in space!

So in such a situation, our future generations will have to postpone their space trips for

a few hundred years as we wait for the trash to clear itself up.

Or is the Kessler Syndrome avoidable?

Yes it is, but for that we need to think of space as a resource, just like land and water.

People, they need to be maintained but how?

If you think that we could abandon the space for a while to get things back on track, think

again.

NASA already concluded in 2005 that even if no further launches of objects into space

were made, collisions between already existing satellites would create fragments faster than

atmospheric drag would remove fragments.

Well, the only way to remove garbage from space is to go up and remove it ourselves

or wait for centuries for it to vanish on itself.

But the question is, can we spare that much time without dragging ourselves back on the

technological aspect?

The need to find ways to improve the situation is increasing every minute and if we don't

want to push humanity into darkness, something needs to be done NOW!

What according to you should be the next step to prevent a permanent space barrier from

forming?

SoHyang and Somi Jo - Here as One REACTION - Duration: 5:23.

I picked up a pen that had forgotten

They remember this song, here in Portugal it also arrived and everyone was laughing.

It's very funny (and strange)

Hello people!

Let's start saying hello.

The reaction I'm going to do now is ...

It is a request and is of ....

And this was now in the winter olympics in Korea

I am quite curious to see why they are two fantastic artists.

I'll point out here that I've seen ....

The SoHyang that is? The one in white?

After all I was wrong, SoHyang is in black

I was not looking like SoHyang, it looks different, it looks beautiful.

My hair today is weird.

I like!!

There is a very large voice tonal difference

I think that together you sing, you notice that difference.

The tone of voice is really different.

SoHyang's voice and the voice of ...

...Sumi Ju is very different.

Very different, also each one has its style.

I'm not going to lie but I've seen a little bit of acting, but it was not much, so I was curious to see it all.

I remember seeing that little bit, I do not even know what part it was, but I see.

Here in Portugal on the television when they talk about the Winter Olympics, they came to show it and then I saw it.

It's very good, and different.

They are, being them.

I hope you enjoyed

TAKE ME TO WAKANDA! | Black Panther Movie Review 🙅🏿🙅🏾🙅🏿 - Duration: 12:23.

♫ intense African drums ♫ The idea of children from sea to shining sea

running around the playground - if recess even still exists - climbing on top of the

jungle gym just so they can scream at their classmate below that

(using Nigerian accent) they have watched from the mountains with disgust as their technological advancements--

Somewhere there's a child reciting the entire monologue, complete with the accent and that

brings a smile to my heart, it puts a shoki in my step, you feel what I'm saying?

Ryan Coogler.

You did that.

Hey YouTube World.

It's me, Evelyn.

I have no idea how to organize this video in a succinct, palatable way.

(using Kenyan accent) I am overwhelmed.

This movie overwhelms me.

So ima just hit you with some thoughts.

Number one.

If I could just be the light that reflects off Lupita's shoulders.

Not even the shoulder.

What's that thing between the shoulder and the neck?

It's this thing right here.

What is this?

What is this - trapezius?

Trapezoid.

I'm not gon' google it.

Some days I feel like Killmonger's neck vein, you know what I'm saying?

There's a lot of Black rage in that neck vein.

A lot of pain in that jaw, you know what I'm saying?

I know how it feels!

I got TMJ.

They say it's caused by "stress".

Huh.

(using Kenyan accent) I wonder why.

I have been using the term colonizer in my every day language documented here on the

internet for years!

And it pleases me that it will be used more widely now.

In Wakanda you clearly don't need lotion.

The air itself has emollient properties.

In Wakanda, your plantain is always at optimal ripeness, and in Wakanda your locs retwist

themselves.

The beginning sequence looked like that-- do y'all remember that 3D magnetic pin toy?

That thing that you would like, press your hand into, and your hand would like have the

imprint in the metal magnet thing?

Do y'all remember that?

Am I the only one that remembers that?

The entire intro reminded me of that.

It was the visual representation of what I think ASMR probably makes people feel like.

It made my body tingle.

Baba?

Tell me about home.

(wheeze cries)

Okay, so the first time I watched Black Panther, I purely taking in the visuals, you know?

The hustle and bustle of the packed city center.

Just the sleekness and (using Nigerian accent) modernity -- the modernity of Shuri's

underground tech lab with the music bumping bumping.

You know what I'm saying, the waterfalls, the mountains, just the landscape, the emollient

skin -- everybody skin emollient.

The baldhead baddies.

Everybody in this film is fine.

Alright?

Everybody is a smooth 22 out of 10.

I did not know that I needed to see Michael B. Jordan with gold in his mouth, but yet here we

are - thirsty.

And it kinda sucked cause he has a dimple.

So when Killmonger is like, trying to challenge T'Challa and he's screaming, he's like,

"Is this your king?!"

"He trash!

He weak! He probably underweight!" you know what I'm saying?

He has a dimple the whole time, and I'm like awww, you look like an angry rubber ducky!

There is a scene where T'Challa-- I don't know if it's after he just becomes king -- and

he's walking down the hallway and he's just walking with a dip.

That dip.

And I'm just like (fans self).

Alright, okay, that's that dip!

Whew!

Um!

That's that dip that got Obama into office.

I don't care what nobody says about making change.

It was that dip!

I loved that nobody was ever a villain in a vacuum.

Those of y'all who said Killmonger was the villain.

Pewww!

Here goes the point -- peww! (using Nigerian accent) It just completely eluded you.

There was really no such thing as pure good and pure bad.

It was only decisions to be made, and it was paths that people took.

And I really enjoyed the complexity of that.

Because that's what real life is like.

I especially liked the conversation and conflict between Okoye and Nakia.

And Nakia is like "yo - I cant.

Killmonger is king.

This cannot-- that's not gon' work for me.

Let's ride!"

And Okoye is like (using accent) "Please!

Though my heart is with you.

I cannot go."

And she's like "I'm not a spy -- I'm not a spy that just can come and go as she pleases.

My loyalty is to that throne!"

That's probably my favorite monologue because it shows this dichotomy of tradition versus

modernity.

Responsibility and duty.

And kinfolk versus skinfolk.

The second time I watched Black Panther, I was in Nigeria.

And when M'Baku (using Nigerian accent) opened his mouth to speak,

the audience was like eh heh! (laughs) Eh heh!

And in the movie I loved how they used this brolic, traditional, um you know probably

the other tribes thought the Jabari tribe was backward, you know, a backward tribe stuck

in their ways.

I loved how they used this brolic man as comedic relief.

I never saw that coming and when he was funny?

I was like, oh this is great! (using Nigerian accent) Are you done?!!?!

Ok so these accents.

Zuri aka Forest Whitaker was giving me South Africa, Malawi.

I really enjoyed Shuri's accent.

It was kind of familiar.

It was "pewwn", you know?

The Jabari tribe was like West African, so it was very "are you done?!"

It was just very hard, and Shuri was very like,

(in East African accent) "My brother. Congrats to my brother."

Don't scare me like that colonizer."

That's how we talk over on our side, you know what I'm saying?

T'Challa, there was a certain way he would say vibranium that sounded Jamaican.

Everything else was fine.

But when he was like (using Jamaican accent) "Vibranium!", I was like whoa whoa whoa whoa!

I was just happy that everybody wasn't Nigerian.

And you can quote me out of context (laughs).

I do not identify with T'Challa or Killmonger.

Killmonger always sounded like he was just reciting woke tweets.

Like, his monologues never really hit me.

I mean, when you think about it, he had been working up to this point his entire life,

so there really wasn't that raw pain in his voice.

It was just like, robotic anger.

It was just like (makes gun sound effects) rahh! rahh! rahh! rahh!

You know what I'm saying?

And I wanted more emotion, but I understand it's Killmonger, he doesn't have any left.

He was just a man with a plan.

Bing, bang, boom, hey Auntie.

You know what I'm saying?

And...eh.

I identify more with Killmonger's father.

N'Jobu.

And yes, he's technically a prince.

But can you imagine being called a traitor and saying you betrayed your country because

you're doing what you believe is helping your people, you know what I'm saying, your skinfolk.

And your kinfolk say, "Ah-ah, ah-ah we not about all that!"

Can you imagine being called a traitor?

I'm not collecting kills -- peww peww peww - that's not what I'm about.

You know, I do stay with that thing on me though.

But really what I'm trying to do is steal a little vibranium, you know what I'm saying,

disperse it to my people so that we can rise (using Kenyan accent) -- together.

Let me ruin y'alls lives real quick.

When I watched Black Panther the second time, and I realized that that intro - you know

the origin story of Wakanda - was not Baby T'Challa asking King T'Chaka,

it was Baby Killmonger.

It was Erik asking his father N'Jobu to tell him about home.

(cries "Oh my God")

Which reminds me.

A lot of y'all were just loud and wrong in the comments section of my last Black Panther video.

The point of that video was to urge my fellow Africans, specifically first generation people,

to realize that the teasing you endured was nothing but the colonizer.

(Using accent) working - not walking - working through your cousins from across the pond.

They think bad about us.

We think bad about them.

The colonizer wins because we think we're different from each other.

The point was hurt people hurt people, and some of y'all missed the point so spectacularly.

It was embarrassing.

I wish all of us, all Black people, had their sense of home, like, original home.

I don't want anybody to make it to Wakanda then choose to die.

And me myself personally -- this is a hot take, it's spicy -- I think that the movie

kind of sent the message that ultimately we have irreconcilable differences and the concept

of a unified Global Black Population is an impossibility y'all should just be happy with

a fancy YMCA in the hood.

But what do I know - I'm paranoid.

I honestly don't know what I would have done in the end as Killmonger.

Part of me watching the movie was like "oh my gosh, you are so stubborn."

But that's rude, right?

That's not a very complex assessment of his life and the history of his people.

Most of the time I felt like "yeah!"

You know, that neck vein.

"Yeah!

What y'all know about the Atlantic.

Y'all know nothing about what happened in the Atlantic.

Y'all was just chilling here with y'alls emollient atmosphere!!"

Speaking of atmosphere, when T'Challa gets up into the ancestors realm, I audibly gasped.

It was so beautiful.

You know?

Chadwick is beautiful, the colors are beautiful, the concept, like, the scene that's unfolding

is beautiful.

And for someone like me, who never really knew their grandparents, let alone the concept

of just having access to your ancestors, just having your ancestors on standby?

I'm not gonna lie, that scene had me in my entire feelings.

Almost cried.

(wheeze cries)

You know, I wish you could just bury me and I then I wake up and talk to my people.

I thoroughly enjoyed the movie.

I think it'll open people up to the idea of cosplay for the first time, which I think

is dope.

It gives children access to another universe.

When I think of little girls running around on the playground with sticks.

"Ahhh!!"

When I think about that -- oooh!

When I think about little kids using blankets as shields.

As vibranium forcefields -- (yelps).

I think Black Panther has the ability to shift people's frame of reference for the continent.

I truly believe that there's gonna be some kid like me in class during show and tell

talking about "This is my fabric.

Um, my parents are from Kenya.

It's a country in Africa."

And kids are gonna be like "Oh! Like Wakanda?"

And you might think that sounds ignorant, but to me, that's cool!

Ima get it on DVD.

I don't have a device that can play the DVD, but ima get it.

It's gonna be a family heirloom.

(using South African accent) Black-- (laughs)

Black Panther.

(giggles)

BOOM !!! Robert Mueller Asks For Postponement In Michael Flynn Sentencing…Here Are The Details - Duration: 15:52.

BOOM !!! Robert Mueller Asks For Postponement In Michael Flynn Sentencing…Here Are The

Details

Sunlight is the best disinfectant…

Fox News reports that the House Intelligence Committee on Wednesday released a 51-page

unclassified transcript of the contentious meeting this week between Republicans and

Democrats, during which members voted to publicly release the classified memo circulating in

Congress that purportedly reveals government surveillance abuses.

The transcript shows Democrats strongly objecting to the release, accusing Republicans of producing

the memo to benefit President Donald Trump.

The four-page memo has been described by GOP lawmakers as "shocking," "troubling"

and "alarming," with one congressman likening the details to accounts of KGB activity in

Russia.

Those who have seen the document suggest it reveals what role the unverified anti-Trump

"dossier" played in the application for a surveillance warrant on at least one Trump

associate.

Is the Trump-Russia collusion witch hunt about to blow up in special counsel Robert Mueller's

face?

The Last Refuge is now reporting that Robert Mueller is now requesting a postponement of

General Michael Flynn's sentencing… against a newly discovered likelihood the Robert Mueller

investigation began under false pretenses; and against the backdrop that FBI surveillance

and wiretaps were obtained through materially (intentionally) false representations to the

FISA court; and against the backdrop the original Flynn plea judge (Contrereas) was also the

approving FISA judge; and that judge 'was summarily recused' from the case; and against

increasing evidence that Mike Flynn was set up by a terminal animus, and politically-motivated

investigative rogue unit, operating within the FBI; and against surfacing IG Horowitz

evidence that FBI investigators manipulated (lied on) their FD-302 interrogation documents;

and understanding those falsified 302's were used in the Mueller/Flynn charging document…

…Special Counsel Robert Mueller now asks for postponement of sentencing:

Both parties did not 'request' a postponement; both parties 'agreed' to a postponement.

The motive for the request (Mueller) is entirely divergent from, yet complementary to, the

motive to agree to the request (Flynn).

This is all beginning to go backwards.

It is not coincidental that Brandon L Van Grack is the signatory to the delay request

by Special Counsel Robert Mueller's request to the new Judge, Emmet G Sullivan.

If, as has been reported, Inspector General Michael Horowitz now has evidence the FBI

manipulated their FD-302 (interrogation and questioning) documents, as also admitted by

FBI agent Peter Strzok in related matters regarding Clinton…

…. and those manipulated or falsified FBI 302's (containing FBI investigative notes

of Michael Flynn's questioning during the January 2017 interview), were used in the

actual Flynn charging documents.

Well, then the underlying evidence presented to the initial judge, Ruben Contreras, in

the December 1st plea hearing, were materially misrepresented.

The Washington Times reports that in early December 2017, Judge Rudolph Contreras was

recused from the criminal case involving Gen. Michael Flynn who had pleaded guilty in an

arrangement with Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

The statement from the US District Court was direct and did not offer any explanation:

The U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia judge presiding over the criminal

case for President Donald Trump's former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn has

been recused from handling the case, a court spokeswoman said on Thursday.

According to a court filing, U.S. District Court Judge Rudolph Contreras, who presided

over a Dec. 1 hearing where Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to the Federal Bureau of Investigation

about his contacts with Russia, will no longer handle the case.

Court spokeswoman Lisa Klem did not say why Contreras was recused and added that the case

was randomly reassigned.

The use of the term "was recused" is noteworthy as the court spokesperson purposely did not

use the terminology "recused himself" with regard to Contreras removal from the

case.

The terms are not necessarily interchangeable and the "was recused" phrasing suggests

that Contreras was told to recuse himself rather than the judge voluntarily stepping

away from the case based on his own concern for a conflict of interest.

According to Joe DiGenova, a former US Attorney for the District of Columbia, Contreras was,

in fact, removed from the case.

Obama Just Went Behind Trump's Back Then Sends Creepy Handwritten Note – Here's

What It Said The Parkland Florida massacre is just over

a month old, and it's still one of the top stories in the news today.

This terrible event that took the lives of 14 students and three teachers left the nation

grief-stricken.

It also left us with a whole lot of ammunition for the left to use to try and shoot down

our Second Amendment rights.

Liberals from all over the country have come out of the woodwork to support stricter gun

laws, but this time, instead of leaning on the traditional emotional pleas, they're

pushing middle schoolers out front to do their dirty work.

While it's evident that the Parkland massacre was tragic, and we should do whatever we have

to to keep it from happening again, there's not just one answer.

You don't have to be either anti-gun or pro-child killing.

In fact, it's entirely possible that those who are willing to put guns in the hands of

more responsible people in schools are the ones who are eager to do the most to stand

up for the kids.

That's just one example of the things that can be done to stand up for the kids who were

so traumatized that day.

Never missing a chance to step into the spotlight, former President and avid anti-guns Barrack

Obama decided that what the kids of Parkland Florida needed was a note from him and the

former First Lady.

The Hill reports that he and Michelle Obama sent the note, telling the kids that they

will be there for them:

"Former President Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama sent a handwritten letter

to students at the Florida high school where a mass shooting left 17 dead last month.

The Obamas thanked the survivors for speaking out against gun violence and helping to "awaken

the conscience of our nation."

The former president and first lady closed by telling the students, "We will be there

for you."

The letter, dated March 10, was obtained by Mic on Wednesday.

'We wanted to let you know how inspired we have been by the resilience, resolve and

solidarity that you have all shown in the wake of unspeakable tragedy,' the Obamas

wrote.

'Not only have you supported and comforted each other, but you've helped awaken the

conscience of the nation, and challenged decision-makers to make the safety of our children the country's

top priority.

'Throughout our history, young people like you have led the way in making America better.

There may be setbacks; you may sometimes feel like progress is too slow in coming.

But we have no doubt you are going to make an enormous difference in the days and years

to come, and we will be there for you.'

The students of Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla., have been the

primary organizers of the anti-gun violence March for Our Lives that is scheduled to hit

D.C. this Saturday.

More than 500,000 people are expected to attend.

This was not the first time the former president and first lady have praised the students who

survived the Feb. 14 massacre in their gun control efforts.

President Obama tweeted at the students the day after the shooting, writing, "We are

grieving with Parkland.

But we are not powerless.

Caring for our kids is our first job.

And until we can honestly say that we're doing enough to keep them safe from harm,

including long overdue, common-sense gun safety laws that most Americans want, then we have

to change."

As frustrating as it is for conservatives to see liberals attempting to push (thoroughly

ineffectual) policy over the graves of the recently departed children and their teachers,

the Obamas aren't the most disturbing part of the equation.

The Hill also reports that Hillary Clinton is looking to support the kids, her support

seems to be suspiciously attached to their interest in supporting stricter gun control:

"Former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton also defended the Parkland,

Fla., survivors on Twitter on Wednesday, saying they have 'shown so much courage in standing

up for the truth' in the face of conspiracy theories that some of them are in fact 'crisis

actors.'

Survivors of the deadly shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School have emerged

as strong advocates for gun control following the attack.

Some of them have traveled to Florida's state capitol to encourage lawmakers to take

up gun control reform, and many are also planning a march later this year in Washington, D.C.,

to demand action on gun violence.

The students also took center stage at a CNN town hall Wednesday, questioning lawmakers

on the future of gun control legislation and pushing them to refuse future donations from

the National Rifle Association."

Barack Obama pushed for stricter gun control laws during his administration, particularly

after the 2012 shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School, but struggled to get measures through

Congress."

Both sides of the aisle are pushing for something that they believe will make kids safer in

schools.

However, this week's school shooting in Maryland made far fewer headlines, because

a mature, trained adult with a handgun stepped in and put a stop to the shooting spree.

The results speak for themselves.
