and today's video is going to be a storytime

I have been wanting to tell this

my favorite stuff on this channel

I have been wanting to tell this story for like the

longest time. some people have asked anyways

like what happened to my eyebrow? If you guys

because it's pretty obvious and if you want

So, this happened when I was in high school

I went to Mea Mater Elizabeth High School and I remember then,

uuhmm my close friend was in... I was in JSS 3

that's what we call grade 9 here

So, I was in JSS 3 that is grade 9

and my friend, my really close friend, she was

in SS 2 that is what we

call grade 11 here

So, one night like one random night, we were in

the hostel you know playing and all that

I think we were just coming from school oh no, we were coming from

the refectory from our night cap

For night cap, we normally had tea and biscuit

So, we were coming from our night cap and got to the

hostel

yeah I am trying to remember! The memory is not so

clear but of course I can never forget this injury

like no, like it's too obvious

So, we were coming from our night cap and we

got into the hostel and that period was

kind of chaotic on campus (oh not campus hahahaha)

it was kind of chaotic in school because I think a lot of things

were happening: people were falling sick

You know there is this period is school where things

just don't really go well it was just that kind

of period and as we came back from the refectory...,

I was in greenhouse and

greenhouse was upstairs

I was trying to run away and you know when you are

trying to run I don't remember. I think

back then because we were being bullied by

our seniors and so as a junior student and

it's night time, as you come back from the refectory, you have to rush to

go get yourself water so you have to go

fetch water for the following morning right! so we

were running to go grab our buckets to go

line up for water!!! exactly that was what

happened and I got into the corridor

My room is right on the corridor and so I got into the corridor

and then I saw a bat flying and I just

don't like insects like NO! I just cannot

even deal insects around me

like anything that flies NO, cockroaches NO

I just cannot and poor me, poor girl like me

you know very young then so afraid

and it was a bat my sister I had to run

and this bat was right behind me

I don't know whether the bat was chasing me. Till now I still don't understand

that concept but the bat was right

behind me and you know when a bat is flying obviously

I am a human being and I am running

something that is flying will obviously be faster than me so this bat

was actually flying so fast and I was running!!!

and I got to my friends room

the lady I told you that was in SS 2

her room was like one of the first ones on the

corridor and so you know due to the fear

I did not want the bat to come close and so I wanted to run into the room

and then smash the door behind me

just so the bat does not get in and make

sure the windows are all closed

that was exactly what I was about to do and then

I ran! you know the door hinge... Most of you that

went back to a Nigerian secondary school

will know this. There is this door hinge like

it will protect your stuffs in your room

you have a door hinge where you lock and

then you put a padlock over it so that hinge

you put the other clip on top of it then you put your padlock

on top and lock your room

that was for those who wanted to lock their rooms because it wasn't

compulsory to lock your room and so, this door hinge I

was running to my friends room and then

I got to this door hinge and bruh!

that was how I just ran into the door hinge

and then the cut was pretty deep because

I ran into it so like it went

into my...

It went into my head but you know when

your adrenaline is at work nothing is painful that

moment and so, I did not think I really had

an injury. So, I just put my hand on my head

I knew I was feeling a little bit of pain

but I did not think it was anything serious

so I still had my hand on my head and still running as a young girl

so I ran into the room

I bashed the door and about to

sit down to tell my friend what happened and there is a bat in the corridor

and we should not leave the room and before I knew it,

I was just sitting down to tell the story

and I took off my hand and omg!!! the blood was just

oozing out like knots like there was no tomorrow

I was so afraid and I thought I was going to

bleed out because I have never bled like that

in my entire life. So, my friend she was

so afraid she called the security of

the hostel and so, she backed me that night

I remember vividly and so, we ran to the

school hospital so when we got there, the doctor was

like oh she might have to stitch this and

it depends on the healing process oh God!

when I heard this thing about needle

anything that is going to touch my skin, I don't want it at all

I was so afraid like "I can't

do this I'm going to die" like NO so I

ended up not doing the stitches. I think the

injury healed faster than expected so she

was like she is going to do stitches if the

stuff wasn't healing that fast but

it ended up healing pretty fast and I

didn't have to do the stitches anymore

so I was super excited but I had a

plaster on my face for like two weeks

you know when you are like having one eye

because this is the plaster and back home they will plaster one small

injury so big that your whole eye will be covered

so I had this plaster and it was super

painful yea that's the end of my story

if I remember vividly and that's actually all that happened

the best tennis player in the world.

I'm relatively close to achieving this goal,

but I don't want to put too much pressure on myself.

Monte Carlo is known as a playground for the rich

and famous and it's also where many of the world's

top tennis players have based themselves, over the years.

In December 2008, Novak had been living and training here

for three years.

Its tax-free status is motivation in itself

to live in Monte Carlo, but Novak had also relocated here

because his growing popularity in his native Serbia

was starting to overwhelm him.

It's peaceful here and I can have my privacy.

I don't get disturbed or bothered by anyone

and I live a more normal life. That's important.

You would think that I would wish to spend

as much time as I can in my homeland,

but that's not really possible at the moment.

You never know where life will take you.

At this stage of his career, a 21-year-old Novak

was already one of the brightest talents

in the tennis world. He was the reigning

Australian Open champion and was being tipped to be

a future world number one.

As my career progresses, I hope that there will be many

more big tournament victories for me.

I'm only 21 and so have plenty of time on my side.

I have some very good people around me,

helping me to develop. My team is very professional

and they support me, both on and off the court.

I hope that they will continue to do so.

Novak trained at the Monte Carlo Country Club.

He was being coached by former Slovakian professional

Marian Vajda, who's stayed with him throughout his career.

Novak often practised with fellow professional

Mario Ančić of Croatia.

Mario was also based here in Monaco

and the two were good friends.

We've known each other since the beginning

of our tennis careers. He came on the scene

a few years after me

and I've been following his progress.

He's improved so much and has enormous ability.

He's got his family right behind him

and he's definitely focused on his tennis.

He has the potential to achieve whatever

he wants to in the sport.

The environment where Novak was living and training

was a far cry from the one in which he spent

his formative years. He grew up in the Serbian

capital Belgrade, during a time of war

and economic instability.

As a boy, Novak sheltered with his family

from the daily NATO bombing raids of 1999.

Over the last 20 years or so, my country has been through

a lot of difficulties, both political and economic.

There is a lot of frustration and I'm well aware of all that.

When I play, or when I win a big tournament,

I represent myself first and foremost,

but I also represent my country and the people

in Serbia who support and follow tennis.

I would like to give something back to them

and I hope that I'm bringing them some happiness

by what I achieve on the tennis court.

It was in the aftermath of the bombing raids of 1999

that Novak left Belgrade.

He was 12 when he moved to Germany, to attend

a tennis academy on the outskirts of Munich.

After returning home, following his three years

in Germany, Djoković turned professional, at 16.

At this stage of his career, the young Serb had his sights

set on overhauling Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal,

at the top of the world rankings.

I wish to be realistic in my goal.

At the moment, there are two players in front

of me who are better than me.

I'll do all I can to improve by at least one position

in the forthcoming year.

But I can't say for definite that this will happen.

We'll just have to wait and see.

I have time on my side and there are lots of elements

in my game that are on a par with the top players.

That's encouraging for the future.

Novak was living in Monte Carlo with his then-girlfriend

Jelena, who would go on to become his wife.

The pair met in Belgrade in 2003

and they often returned home to Serbia,

whenever Novak's hectic schedule allowed them to do so.

Novak has just recently helped establish

an ATP Tour event in Belgrade.

I'm very pleased that we have managed to organise

an ATP tournament in Belgrade.

It will take place in May 2009 and will give the tennis fans

in Serbia the opportunity to see professional tennis

up close. They will be able to see what it's all about

and support the players from our country.

Away from tennis, Novak's big passion in life

remains football.

His father was a professional footballer

and Novak believed that he could have made the grade, too.

I know that my life has been devoted mainly to tennis

and this will be the case for many years to come,

but when I'm not playing tennis, I try to enjoy

whatever it is that I'm doing.

Novak's favourite football team is Red Star Belgrade,

but since he'd been living in Monte Carlo,

he'd adopted AS Monaco as his second club.

I believe that, with a smile on your face

and with a positive outlook on things,

then your life will be longer and easier.

That's how I'm trying to go about things, anyway!

In life, I think that everyone has their own

individual character and you have to follow

your own path in the world.

You have to do what is right for you.

Playing tennis was my own choice

and I think it was a good one for me.

So far, it has provided me with a healthy lifestyle

and some success, and I hope that continues.

Novak would go on to become a tennis superstar.

He succeeded in loosening Rafael Nadal

and Roger Federer's grip on the men's game

and achieved his lifelong ambition of being

world number one in 2011.

One of the proudest moments of his career

came at the 2012 London Olympics,

when he carried the flag of his beloved Serbia

at the opening ceremony.

JYJ Junsu Was Captured On Video In His Police Uniform

Junsu has been actively performing his duties as a police officer, and fans who caught sight of him couldnt help but film what they witnessed.

On February 9th, 2017, JYJs Junsu began his military service and, after several weeks of training, he began serving as a task group police officer based at the South Gyeonggi Police Agency.

A group of fans had the chance to witness Junsu directing traffic on a public road and filmed him doing so. While directing traffic, Junsu communicated with the fans when they complimented him on his looks.
