How to Make Toasted Coconut Brownies - Duration: 2:33.

I don't care if your team's getting your butt whooped.

These brownies will make everything OK.

Trust me.

I'm excited.

[music playing]

First thing's first-- I have a pot that I filled

up about halfway with water.

And I place a bowl right on top of it

and let that water come up to a slight simmer.

As you can see, that butter is already starting to melt.

Take out 2 cups of semisweet chips.

Give this a little mix.

Perfect.

Let's take this butter and chocolate mixture that we have.

There we go.

Get it right into our stand mixer.

Lock this in.

On low speed, add white granulated sugar.

We want to make sure that we get everything incorporated.

Uh-oh.

I got a little bit of chocolate on my hand.

Well, guess what. [chuckling] It's all good.

Add our brown sugar, eggs.

And we're gonna use a little coconut.

This stuff is strong.

So we're only gonna use about 1/4

teaspoon of this, all right?

After that, add some vanilla.

Gradually add about a cup and 1/4 of all-purpose flour.

And really make sure that you get it well-mixed.

So now we're going to start to add a little bit of texture.

Coconut, chopped almond, and, last, put a pinch of salt.

That's going to bring everything together.

So I have a 9-by-13 pan that I've buttered.

And I have some parchment paper that I laid down.

It's going to make it easy for us to get our brownies out

when they come out the oven.

Spread this out nice and even.

We're gonna pop this brownie batter

in the oven, preheated to 325, for about 35 to 45 minutes.

Before you know it, we're gonna have some toasted coconut

brownies, baby.

We're gonna make this delicious icing.

We have about 2 cups of confectioner's sugar,

some softened, room temperature butter, 3 tablespoons

of whole milk, about 1/2 a teaspoon for the coconut

and a teaspoon for the vanilla.

Oh, yeah.

There we go.

[chuckling]

This is what you wait for all week.

You've been working hard all day.

Big game's coming up.

And all you can think about are these toasted coconut brownies.

We're gonna take these coconuts.

Let's get eye-level.

Doesn't get any better than that.

All right.

So I think I'm gonna actually go-- mmm.

I gotta go with that one and just

put my fingers on it, right?

You can see the almond.

It's gooey.

It's crunchy.

It's sweet.

Oh, my goodness.

favorite ways to make money as a

stay-at-home mom if you are new to my

channel my name is Taylor and this is my

blissful home and this video is part of

favorite way to make money as a

stay-at-home mom is to sell things on

ebay i sell used items on ebay and that

has worked out really really well for me

I started with spelling things that i do

not want how my help anymore like old

clothing electronics and things like

that and what additional we made me want

to sell things on ebay with the fact

that I had a water damaged macbook pro

so I had no idea what to do with I

didn't want to throw it away just

because it was so much money to buy that

so I know if there was another option

other than just using ahead a

paperweight or having a fit in a box in

a closet so i went ahead and i looked at

ebay sold listings and it turns out that

there had been several laptops that were

water damage previously sold so i knew

that i could sell my laptop so i went

ahead and made an ebay account and I

listed just my laptop can be sold and

within 24 hours like an offer from

somebody who wanted to buy my laptop i

sold that water damaged laptop over 250

dollars that was way who were the time

and effort it took to create media

accounts and learn how to posting first

sale so that was super super awesome so

far and only sold things that i have

around my health I don't want anymore

instead of giving them to Goodwill where

that is being that we just a for-profit

business that takes your stuff installed

it on their own for profit so I figured

I might as well get them the money out

of this my family could totally use that

so i created my own loading bay business

and about three months I made a little

over a thousand dollars so i think it

can definitely be very very successful

for anybody who wishes to do this it's

just one of those types of things that

you get what you put into it so if you

can only put in one

a few hours a week when you have a

chance probably not going to make that

much but if you're able to put in more

hours and that like if your kids are in

school here to tomah whole day I mean

you can put three four five hours a day

into your eBay business you can really

make a lot of money people felt things

for a lot of money and I know that what

most people do is they will go to three

stores garage sales and things like that

and they will purchase use items and

resell those items on ebay and they have

huge inventories and they make full time

income from this so this is definitely a

very good option for making money as a

stay-at-home mom that anybody can do my

second favorite way to make money as a

stay-at-home mom is to watch other

people's kids in most states including

california where i live you do not have

to register yourself as a day care if

you only watch children that come from

one family if you just watch two or

three kids or even has one child from a

single family

you don't have to be a daycare look at

his life and so that's gonna be a great

option and you can do this part-time

where you just watch kids once a week or

when their parents need them or you can

do a full time daycare type of situation

where you watch children while their

parents are at work and if you're

already saving mom and already at home

there's no reason why most of us

couldn't do this

yes it will be a little extra work but

there's no way to really make money

without doing extra work and it's

awesome because you're you can stay home

with your own kids while making money so

i think that watching other people's

children is an awesome way to make money

to help your rates are so expensive that

you could charge quite a bit of money i

have a few friends who pay over twelve

hundred dollars a month for their babies

to be in be careful time if you're

watching a few kids that could really be

worth your time and effort to have extra

toes around your house all day my third

and final way to make money as a

stay-at-home mom is probably my favorite

because it requires quite a way work in

the beginning but then you can pay the

creator's coast while you're making

money and that is to buy things in bulk

from alibaba or aliexpress brand then

and then sell them through amazon if you

have not heard of these two websites al

baba and aliexpress they have a ton of

manufacturers and companies that make

products that are selling in bulk at

wholesale to retailers and two

individuals so you can go on there and

find anything basically that you would

like to resell they do clothing jewelry

I I think maybe like phone chargers like

USB cable things like that they do a ton

of different things like really the

sky's limit with that and you can pay a

little bit of extra money to have your

own brand which is what i really

recommend because things that are

branded even if it's an unrecognizable

brand always are worth more money than a

generic or unbranded item so a lot of

these companies will offer the option to

brand the item for just one or two

percent more and then we'll be paying

for them in the first place and i will

really allow you to increase your

margins if you were to sell them that

way but i also recommend is to find one

item that you would like to sell to

begin with and request samples from the

companies that you find that sell them

and get quotes and test the products

because you want to make sure that

you're selling a quality product you

don't want to rip anyone off you want to

be selling would admit I de so you pick

a product you pick a manufacturer you

have them ship NT which can be about a

month long process because they are

coming from overseas mostly china and

india so once you receive the items you

package them the way you see fit and

then you can have amazon fulfillment

take care of the rest

so you need to sign up for an account as

an amazon seller and basically you send

them all to amazon they store them in

their own warehouse and they pack and

ship them as order come in so if soon as

those products leave your hands you

essentially have no work to do with and

you just receive the money as they are

sold on amazon so those are my three

favorite ways to make money as a

stay-at-home mom I hope you guys enjoyed

DIY Mini Starbucks Nail Polish Remover Jar - Duration: 2:29.

Hi everyone in this video I'll be making this mini Starbucks nail polish remover jar.

It's super quick and easy and I think it's really cute as well.

You can always just use an ordinary mini cup for this but I used a mini storage jar since

it already came with a lid.

I painted the lid white and then the cup pink.

While I was waiting for the cup to dry I started making the whipped cream.

I used white clay for this step and then an icing nozzle to give it that whipped cream

look.

Then I shaped this long piece of clay I just made into the whipped cream shape.

After everything dried, I hot glued the whipped cream onto the white lid.

I printed and cut out a mini Starbucks logo, and then glued it onto the cup.

You can really use any kind of sponge but I used cosmetic sponges since I found it to

be the ideal size.

First you'll roll up a piece of the sponge and place it in your cup.

If it's too long or big, obviously you'll have to cut it accordingly to make sure it

fits.

Once I finally got the perfect sized sponges, I rolled them into the cup.

Make sure the sponges form some sort of hole in the middle so you'll be able to place your

finger in there.

Slowly begin adding nail polish remover into the cup until you see the sponge soaking up.

And then this would be an example of how you would use this mini Starbucks cup as a nail

polish remover.

extension that really saves a lot of

time when you click on the chrome

extension takes all of your text books

and shows you with a green check all of

the ones that are profitable so right

here we got the $89 textbooks we can go

in and look at them further by clicking

on it so now you can see the first ones

eighty-nine dollars and ninety-nine cent

and it's good but it's loosely version

they weren't by usually versions you

need regular either hardcover or

paperback textbook

however the second one is used like no

it's perfect it's ninety dollars plus 3

99 shipping now if you go back and click

We're here at Woodbine beach to have

Toronto's first Polar Plunge in support

of Special Olympics. For the first one

I'm elated. So i would say

approximately just over 50 people, and we

raised just under ten thousand dollars

for Special Olympics here today. [music, cheering] I just thought it was a good idea

to make myself truly Canadian... I've never done it before

I mean back home its 30 degrees and it's warm

and balmy, so to come here when it's

like pretty much zero and the water's

just the same, so thought i'd have to do it,

had to give it a go... I'm glad i did now...

even though I'm still freezing... It's a great cause, it's a

great foundation and like, these people, and

just need every cent that they can

and to do these type of things, like it was

so much fun to fundraise and give as

much support.. I'd do it for anyone ... it's just

helping out, it means so much...

Well, with the Toronto Police we've had such a long-standing relationship,

with Special Olympics

though our Law Enforcement Torch Run

and again, it's all about raising money for these

real great kids, that gives them that

opportunity to go to compete in the

competitive sport and, you know, law

enforcement across Canada has been supporting this

for over 30 years now so... there's our

first kick at the can at this Polar Plunge

and I think we're gonna do it again, it's

not as bad as it seems... (three, two, one, go....cheering)

alright.... that's cold again...

How was that for you? Cold! ...very cold... would you do it again? Absolutely!

Audition Tips: Don't Make This Audition "Pacing" Mistake - Duration: 1:47.

Hi this is Amy Jo Berman with your quick

acting / auditioning tip of the day...

Today's tip is for you if you're

auditioning (which I hope you are) and

you've ever been told to "pick up the

pace" ... or actually

even if you've gotten that note in class,

you're going to need this tip. Okay so

"pick up the pace"...

What does this really mean? Well if

you've been in a casting session and the

casting director has told you pick up

the pace, or if you've been an acting

class or auditioning class and they're

telling you this,

there's a common mistake associated with

YOUR RESPONSE to that direction...

Let me tell you what I mean. Usually, when

I've been in casting sessions and I've

asked an actor to pick up the pace,

what they do (and what you might have

done) is just go faster -- basically

machine gun out the lines -- you just get them out

super fast and you run through it... And

that's not actually the same thing as

just picking up the pace...

Yes, there is a part of moving a little

bit quicker involved in that, but here's

the key... Next time they say pick up the

pace i want you to think "take out the

space". I want you to take out the extra

space between your lines and your next

line, your lines and the other person's

next line... Those little spaces, if you

could take them out and tighten them up,

will pick up your pace, without making

you sound like like you're machine gunning out your

lines at the speed of light. You know I'm

saying? That little thing?... Very subtle, but

oh so powerful. If you found that

Winter Wonderland Cakes with Lorelie - Duration: 8:44.

Today I'm sharing with you how I made my winter wonderland cake design.

Included in this tutorial are two versions of the same design.

A dark chocolate one and a white chocolate one.

You'll see how to create an interesting textured buttercream decoration for the bottom tier.

You'll learn how to make a chocolate lace collar to adorn the top tier.

You'll also learn how to pipe buttercream pine cones and filler flowers for the detailed

edging, and see how to make chocolate branches and other little extra special touches.

Before we we get started click the subscribe button so you won't miss any of my future

tutorials.

You can use your favorite recipes or my spice cake with browned butter.

I'll put the link to the recipes at the end of the tutorial.

Begin by piping melted dark chocolate into waxed paper in the shape if branches.

I'll put a link to the paper piping bag tutorial in case you need help with that.

After you're finished piping put the sheet pan into the freezer.

Next pipe some melted white chocolate in a lacey pattern onto a twenty inch length by

three inch width, or whatever size you desire, piece of waxed paper.

You can also use parchment paper but I prefer the waxed paper.

The chocolate on the parchment paper had a tendency to crack easily.

Make extra ones, two or three as a backup.

One of them will be used as pieces for decoration

So here I have my bottom tier, which is a three layer eight inch cake.

It's filled and crumb coated and glued down onto a silver platter.

I'm using a Wilton leaf tip number 352 to pipe my easy buttercream recipe in vertical

rows to create an interesting texture.

Here it is in fast motion.

And here is my six inch top tier cake filled and crumb coated.

I used Delphinium blue Wilton paste food color to color my butter cream.

Start with a generous amount on top and spread the frosting out until it hangs over the edges.

Work the buttercream down onto the sides of the cake.

You may need to add more.

Use a bench scraper that is warmed in hot water to smooth the buttercream

Please don't fret if there are a few imperfections, most of the side will be covered in chocolate

lace anyway.

Try to get the top as even as possible.

I like to use my offset spatula for this, turning the table as I work.

I very gently scrape from the edge of the cake, left to right.

Mark the bottom tier using a six inch cake pan.

Find the center and gently press down on the pan to make a mark.

Use straws or wooden dowels for support.

I find straws to be perfectly fine for this.

Cut them flush with the top of the cake.

Here's a litle trick to keep the tiers from sticking together.

I use a little bit of graham cracker in between the tiers.

Place the top tier onto the bottom tier and make your adjustments.

This is a lot easier to manage if your cakes are cold.

And now for the fun part.

I'm showing you here how to attach the white chocolate collar.

Carefully and slowly work your way around the cake pressing gently with the palm of your

hands to adhere the chocolate to the buttercream.

This is not hard to do but there is risk of breakage so be careful.

Peel the waxed paper carefull as you turn the cake.

It should come off easily leaving behind a beautiful lace overlay.

Here it is with a dark chocolate collar.

This cake is a slightly larger.

It's a six inch size.

Also when you put the chocolate collar on use your hands to warm it up a little bit.

See the paper peel off easily?

And you're left with an elegant lace collar.

Pipe a border of buttercream at the bottom of the top tier using a round tip.

I'm using a Wilton number 12.

This covers any imperfections and you're cake is now starting to look like something special.

Pipe some buttercream around the outer edge of the bottom tier to be used as a place to put your

pine cone and flower decorations.

Now it's time for the pine cones.

I'm using a tip number 83 Wilton and you'll need a straw and some chococlate buttercream

or some brown colored buttercream.

The pine cones are small and difficult to see because the back ground is a little dark.

I'm going to add some pictures at the website for you so you can see a little more clearly

and I'm going to try to explain my best how to make a pine cone.

You're going to create a closed center, just as though you were making a rose.

Pipe a little more buttercream onto the straw so that your petals will have something to

adhere to.

Hold your tip horizontal to the straw and squeeze and pull to create four or five petals.

Move down and make another row of these petals.

They should not overlap.

Keep making rows until you have the size pine cone that you want.

So here it is again in fast motion and from a different angle.

Cut the straw at an angle

and using your scissors place the pine cone into the cake.

Pipe some greenery on top of the cake and using a star tip create the look of pine needles.

If you have a grass tip use that to make a more realistic looking pine needle look.

After piping some pin cones pipe some greenery to cover any of the straw that may be showing

through.

For cololrful accents, you can pipe, with a 103 rose and make some filler flowers.

The wider end of the rose tip is facing down on the rose nail and at a forty five degree

angle.

As you turn the nail to the left, squeeze and release as you form an upside down U.

Put these onto squares of waxed paper place them on a cookie sheet and freeze them for

at least ten minutes.

Place the little flowers in between the pine cones and pipe some leaves and greenery around them.

Sugar crystals are really pretty so I'm adding those here and confectionery sugar makes really

pretty snow.

Add little pieces of chocolate lace for accents and the branches should be added last.

I used a beautiful piece of teakwood as the cake stand for my white chocolate version

and photographed it in the snow with natural light.

I love how elegant this cake is yet at the same time it has a kind of woodland feel to

it.

Malabar Nice Pathiri | How to make soft nice Pathiri | Kerala Rice Pathiri - Duration: 4:29.

Welcome to Anjis Kitchen

Today I am going to make Nice Pathiri

For this I have taken finely powdered and roasted rice flour.

This is the measuring cup that I am using to measure rice flour.

I am taking 2 cups of rice flour.

In the same measuring cup I am taking 3 cups of water (1 1/2 times water)

Bring the water to boil

Now I am adding required quantity of salt (1 1/4 tsp)

Now I am adding 1 tsp of Ghee(Clarified Butter). This is optional. But this will make the dough soft

Mix the water with a ladle and then add the roasted rice flour little by little and mix it continuously.

Lower the flame to simmer and mix water and flour well.

Now put off the flame and mix the contents until the contents are lightly warm.

Now knead the contents well. The more you knead the mix the softer the dough will be for pathiri.

While mixing if the contents are too hot, then dip your hand in cool water and then again mix it. This will help in reducing the warmness of the contents.

Make the dough to a nice ball.

Now make small balls out of the dough like how we make chapati's.

Now we need to flatten the dough to make pathiri.

For flattening I am using rice flour itself. By using rice flour we can flatten the dough to very nice and thin shapes.

Add rice flour if required to make the round shape.

More thick areas to be flattened slowly until we have same thickness evenly.

To a hot pan, add the flattened dough

Once one side is cooked, flip over and wait until small bubbles pops out

Pan should be put in high flame while making pathiri so that it pops out well

Again flip over and you can see that pathiri is popping out

Now soft nice pathiri is ready
