and place this piece right here, add a layer of white here, some here, now add another

layer of tall white bricks like this.this is how it should look,go ahead

and add a one by six flat here on this empty gap leaving this as the empty gap,now making

the mechanism grab this piece here, one by two, this should look like an L shape

as you can see.add this flat here like so,now your gonna grab this piece, add the one by

one on top, like this and go ahead and place it here now it should look like that.go ahead

and grab this final piece with this piece and then place it here.now that its placed

How to Make a Match Cube (Updated) - Duration: 10:45.

To make this you will need about 270 matches.

The matches I am using are about 5.5 cm long.

You will also need a small rubber band that can stretch a lot.

Start with 4 matches.

Add 2 of them together with the match tips facing opposite sides.

Do it again with 2 other matches and place them on top of the first 2.

It should look like a + shape.

The elastic band will be wrapped around the matches to hold them together.

Wrap the elastic band as shown.

Add one match in between the 4 matches held together.

Now start adding matches in an alternating pattern crossing over top each other.

When adding the matches, place them underneath the elastic band.

The pattern should be matchstick tip, bottom, tip, bottom, and then repeating.

It should look similar to a checker pattern after a while.

Another match can be used to lift up the elastic band.

Continue the pattern until the elastic band becomes tight.

Discard any bent or damaged matches.

Try to keep the matches centered.

Once the elastic band is becoming too tight another one can be added.

Unloop the original elastic from the side the new elastic was added to but keep the rest of it as is.

Add more elastics as needed.

After a while elastic bands can be added to all sides and the original elastic can be removed.

When you are close to completion you can start removing the elastic bands.

The match cube is finished when you cannot add any more matches without damaging the tips.

7 Ways to Make Social Media Easier - Duration: 5:19.

Everyone wants to go viral these days, and the place to do that is social media.

But being the next Ice Bucket Challenge, dog on a Roomba, or Chewbacca mom isn't as effortless

as we'd like to hope.

In fact, most brands have paid teams of social media "experts" to keep them going.

You may never become a viral hit, but if you're willing to put in the work, you could grow

your small business' social media to be effective, meaningful, and profitable.

Here are seven ways to improve your social media, but if you're looking for more—

way more— check out our ebook, 100 Ways to Make Social Media easier.

The first step to improving your social media is to take a good look in the mirror assess

what you're already doing—or not doing.

Is all your info in your profile up to date on each channel?

Are your posts in line with your brand voice?

Is your blog linked with your social channels?

Do you have social share buttons?

Are you on the right channels?

Yes, these are all the basics, but you can't get to the top of the ladder unless you start

on the bottom rung.

Next, you need to create your social media strategy.

If you don't know where you're going or how to get there, the chances that you'll

end up somewhere you want to be are slim.

Wait, how did I end up with fifteen sheep cards?

I wanted to build the longest road.

Now I can't even buy one.

Having a strategy means making social media meaningful and profitable.

And while most businesses will tell you they have a strategy, a lot of them won't have

it actually written out.

Wait, how much is a settlement?

I swear I had all the cards just a second ago.

Of course, your strategy is only as good as your progress on it, and if you don't objectively

evaluate your efforts, you won't know if you're making progress.

So a major part of your strategy should be metrics to track along the way.

Ok, I think... Can I trade two bricks for a wheat?

I'm gunna be honest Clare, that's a four brick purchase.

[WHISPERS] Hehehe, I love this game.

Next is consistency.

The best way to manage social media is to get some momentum going so that you can be consistent.

That means being active, creating a posting routine, and responding to comments quickly.

It's hard at first.

Which is a lot like being on a park swing: It takes a lot of work to get moving, but

once you're swinging, it's way easier.

Can I get a push over here?

Way easier.

Next, get the right tools.

Tools are there to make your job easier.

Okay man, ready to take off your lug nuts.

Do you have a tire iron?

And just like you wouldn't want to change a tire with just a Phillips head screwdriver,

you don't want to try to handle your business' social media without the right tools.

There are tons of tools out there to help you schedule, engage, curate content, and

monitor your social media.

Here you go!

What the hell am I supposed to do with this?

Improvise.

It's what you do when you don't want to invest in tools.

Of course, your posts are the real meat and potatoes of social media, so the next step

is to get them right.

Social can seem needlessly complicated, so let's talk about it like we're a cooking show.

For example, you want to make sure that your content is being posted to the right place.

Meat goes on the platter.

Potatoes are on the side.

You don't put meat in the salad bowl, because it won't go over well with the vegetarians.

Similarly, you want to know what content works well on which platform.

Your pretty pictures will perform way better on Instagram than they will on LinkedIn.

And you want to be careful managing your social media activity.

Just like you need a timer and thermometer when you put meat in the oven, you need a

calendar for your posts and to monitor what people are saying about your brand.

Because the last thing you want is to end up being roasted on social media.

So it didn't go so well, making dinner at home.

We're just going to pay for it.

Sound good?

Dear god, yes.

Speaking of which: Paid social advertising.

Businesses can't live on organic traffic alone, so you need to establish a paid social

strategy.

Here are three tips to make it easier.

First, understanding your platforms is like picking a restaurant.

Do you want your dollars to go to, say, fast food restaurants that you know large numbers

of people frequent?

Or do you want to reach people at niche mom and pops restaurants?

Second, you have to know your budget.

Can you afford the fillet mignon of social media ads, like immersive dynamic ads?

Or are you cool with getting a burger, like sidebar ads for retargeting?

Third, know your audience.

Karolina here loves burgers, and I know she hangs out here often, so I'm happy

to get this one.

But if she was more into wheatgrass shots, then I'd eat her burger, then take her

to the right place.

Cheers!

Even once you've got your social media engine up and running, you're going to need to

direct traffic to the right places on your website.

Think of it in terms of your strategy: What do you want to sell more of?

What will lead them to that sale?

Oh, you're looking for Infusionsoft?

It's just over there.

To get there, please follow this CTA to our checklist for 100 ways to make social media

easier, make a right, and you'll be there.

Looking for more ways to build momentum and hit your social media stride?

We have, like, 90 more tips for you.

Just follow that truck and check out our checklist for 100 ways to make social media easier.

Make This Recipe and Say Goodbye To Back and Joint Pain-Easy Home Remedy For Joints Pain - Duration: 3:19.

how to cure back and joint pain naturally

Joints form the connections between bones. They provide support and help you move.

Any damage to the joints from disease or injury can interfere with your movement and cause

a lot of pain. To prevent that from occurring, it is important

to live a healthy lifestyle and follow a wholesome diet full of nutrients

that your bones and joints need to be strong. There are also natural supplements you can

take to help strengthen your bones and joints, without ill side effects.

One supplement you can take is gelatin. Gelatin contains something called collagen,

which can strengthen your body. Gelatin helps your joint and back pain because

it is made of mostly protein. It contains some mineral salts and water,

as well. This mixture helps to make collagen and reduce

swelling in your veins and muscles. Gelatin also has amino acids, which are called

arginine and glycine. These fancy sounding acids help to build muscles

and strengthen your joints.

Use this recipe when you work your body a little too much or when you have an injury.

Ingredients:

1 tsp. plain gelatin (10 grams) 1/2 glass cold water (100 mL)

1/2 glass warm water (100 mL)

Directions:

Add the teaspoon of plain gelatin to the cold water and let it sit overnight.

In the morning, pour the mixture into a pot and add the half glass of warm water into

a double boiler. Once dissolved, remove from heat and serve.

Drink each morning before breakfast, at least 30 minutes before the first meal of your day.

You can also pour in a glass of orange juice to improve the taste. It can also make it

easier for the body to absorb. Consuming this on a regular basis can help

your joints and your pains.

It is important to understand that your results will depend on your lifestyle and your diet.

Turmeric & Ginger Tea: Turmeric and ginger are both anti-inflammatorys,

and will help with oseto and rheumatoid arthritis. Turmeric in particular has gotten a lot of

attention lately. Its active ingredient is something called

curcumin, which is a powerful antioxidant. In addition, it lowers the levels of 2 enzymes

responsible for causing inflammation . You can take these in a capsule form or make

a nice spicy tea to enjoy daily.

You will need… 2 cups of water

1/2 teaspoon ground ginger 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric

Honey to taste

Directions: Bring 2 cups of water to a boil,

and had ½ teaspoon each ground ginger and ground turmeric.

Reduce to a simmer and let it be for 10-15 minutes.

Strain, add honey to taste, and enjoy twice daily.

This yields 2 servings.

Arduino Tutorial: How to make an analog Thermometer with Arduino a DS18B20 and an analog Voltmeter - Duration: 5:18.

Dear friends welcome to another Arduino project video!

Today we are going to modify this analog Voltmeter and convert into an Analog Thermometer using

Arduino and a DS18B20 temperature sensor.

Without any further delay, let's get started!

Hello guys, I am Nick and welcome to educ8s.tv a channel that is all about DIY electronics

projects with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP8266 and other popular boards.

You can subscribe to our channel by clicking on this button.

Today we are going to learn how to use this analog voltmeter with Arduino and make it

show the temperature instead of the voltage.

As you can see, in this modified voltmeter, we can see the temperature in degrees Celsius.

The temperature is measured by this digital sensor, a DS18B20 and it is then displayed

on the voltmeter.

I really like analog dials like this one, because they give a vintage look to the projects.

Let's now see how to achieve that result.

The parts that we are going to need today are the following:

• An Arduino Uno • A DS18B20 temperature sensor

• A DC analog voltmeter with a range from 0 to 5V

• Some wires The cost of the project is around $9.

You can find link for all the parts I use in the description of the video below.

At first let's see how to control the voltmeter with Arduino.

We connect the positive side of the Voltmeter to digital pin 9, and the negative one to

GND.

Since the Arduino Uno does not offer a Digital To Analog converter we have to use one of

the PWM pins in order to write an analog value to a digital pin of the Arduino.

Pulse Width Modulation, is a technique for getting analog results with digital means.

Instead of writing HIGH to the digital pin, with PWM we send a pulse.

PWM is attached to certain pins of the Arduino Uno.

Those digital pins the support PWM have this symbol next to them.

In order to send a value to the voltmeter we use the analogWrite command and we write

a value from 0 to 255.

So, if we write 0, the voltmeter shows 0V and if we write 255 the voltmeter show 5V.

We can write any other value between 0 and 255 the voltmeter will go to the appropriate

position.

So, If we want the voltmeter to show 2.5V we have to call the command analogWrite(9,128).

Great!

Now we can control the voltmeter needle at will!

Let's now convert the voltmeter to a thermometer.

First we have to connect the DS18B20 sensor.

We connect the pin with the – sign to Arduino GND, the pin with the + sign to 5V and the

signal pin to digital pin 2.

That's it.

Now we have to prepare panel meter.

I unscrew these screws and I remove this metal plate.

We then need to design our own face for it.

I designed a simple one using Photoshop.

Actually designing the face took me much more time than building the project itself, so

in order to save your time I will attach the file in the description of the video.

Now all we have to do is to print the face for the panel meter and glue it in place.

If we load the code and power up the project we can see that it works fine!

If I touch the sensor, the temperature rises quickly.

Our analog thermometer is ready!

Let's now take a quick look at the code of the project in order to understand how

it works.

We need the DallasTemperature library in the code to compile.

The code is very simple.

We first read the temperature from the sensor.

Next we pass the temperature value to the temperatureToPWM function.

This functions converts the temperature to a PWM value from 0 to 255 using the map function.

Next, all we have to do is to write this PWM value out at the voltmeter.

You can also define the maximum and the minimum temperatures that your panel meter can display

by changing the values of these variables.

The smaller the gap between these two values, the bigger the resolution the panel meter

will offer.

As always the code of the project can be found in a link, in the description of the video.

I really love the looks of these analog panel meters so I am going to build a lot of projects

with them.

In a future video I will design and 3d print a vintage enclosure for this analog thermometer

we built today.

I am going use an Arduino nano to make things more compact and add some yellow diffused

LEDS to illuminate the panel at night.

I think it will be cool.

I would love to hear your opinion about this?

Do you like analog panel meters and if yes, what kind of projects are you going to build

using one of these?

Please post your comments in the comments section below, and don't forget to like

the video if you find it interesting.

Thanks!

If you are new to the channel, I would love to have subscribed by clicking on the channel

projects.

I hope you will join our community.

Until next Saturday, watch, learn, build!

KIDS MAKE HOMEMADE FART PUTTY (Day 1763) - Duration: 14:21.

- Good morning!

- Morning.

- Bryce is doing his homework,

because he forgot to do it yesterday.

And while he's doing that, he wanted an egg sandwich.

So I'm frying up an egg for him.

We have some Canadian bacon, some cheese,

throw some tomato on there, and some wheat English muffins.

You lucky boy.

And this, is the stuff for later,

when you guys get off school, we're going to have some fun.

Not for you, Baby dog.

There you go, Brycers.

- Thank you. - [Tiffany] You're welcome.

(bass notes)

- Good morning, clan.

Welcome to PAX South, here in San Antonio.

We are walking into the expo, what, are you dodging?

- I didn't want to run you into the wall.

(laughs)

- And here we are, ladies and gentlemen, boom!

Expo floor is humongous!

Rooster Teeth, Twitch, Dreadnought,

I see Loot Crate, oh yeah, oh yeah.

Earthfall, Nintendo Switch, Hyper Universe.

Ballin'.

Alright, so I'm here for three days, you guys,

if you know there's a booth, if you know there's a game,

or if you know there's something you wanna see,

let me know in the comment section of this video,

so that tomorrow or the day after,

I can come back and get footage of it,

if I don't catch it in this video.

There's a lot to do here, and I'm here three days.

So let me know.

Everyone's always asking me, what my headset is.

That's what I use, the ASTRO A50s.

They're wireless, docking station, so good.

Have all kinds of cool customizations.

This place is huge, you guys.

All of that is all video game stuff,

and then the other half of the convention center

is all tabletop stuff.

There's a PAX arena,

looks like it's hosted by Omen X, HP guys.

There's something over there, with Overwatch.

There's Discord Lounge, I wanna go check this out.

Discord!

So of course, I found out that G Fuel had a booth here,

and I had to come check it out.

If you guys have never seen G Fuel's booth,

at any of the conferences they visit,

they pretty much sample all the flavors.

And they're all in these big tubs. Check this out:

You pretty much walk up, try whatever flavor you like.

All the flavors listed up, check out that display.

Dope!

All those flavors, cups, so dope.

I need one of those guys, I need one of those on my shelf.

Just met my boy Jeremy,

he hooked me up with a clear shaker,

which I can always use more shakers, right?

But, just a reminder, promo code "Clintus", Gfuel.com

You save 10%, that 10% helps support the channel.

You save money, we earn money.

It's like a great relationship, a great partnership.

And I love G Fuel, guys, I drink it just about every day.

And I know a lot of you guys ask all the time,

is it okay for kids?

Basically, if you could drink other energy drinks,

if your parents let you drink other energy drinks,

then, yes, you can drink G Fuel.

But if, like, you're not allowed to drink caffeine,

you're not allowed to drink Red Bulls or Monsters,

then, G Fuel falls in that same category.

So I would say no.

And always talk to your parents, always ask your parents.

Have your parents read the ingredients,

the ingredients are on the website.

You can literally read what's inside it.

And if your parents are okay with it, then go for it.

Some really good flavors.

Alright, you guys, I'm making my way around the expo floor

and I found the KontrolFreek's booth, and check it out,

all these different pads, I talk about all the time.

These are the ones I use,

I show you guys on stream, all the time.

They have all kinds of different ones.

They've got Call of Duty,

they've got Zombies that glow in the dark,

there's even, look, there's even Destiny, check it out.

Playstation, Xbox, boo-yah!

So you can see all the different heights

they have on them, concave, convex.

Super cool!

So again, that's KontrolFreek.com,

use promo code "Clintus"

to save some cash on grips, thumbs, extenders, cables,

they have everything covered for gaming.

PS4, Xbox One, doesn't matter. Check em out.

- Kids are home from school!

And they are so excited,

they've been looking forward to this all day,

knowing that we're going to make something.

Should we say what we're making?

- Yeah.

- We are going, we are going--

- We are going to make some Flarp!

- Flarp. Homemade Flarp. - DIY Flarp.

- Yep. All right.

So, we have a couple of mixing bowls

- We have some borax, some school glue, and food coloring.

Bryce chose blue, and I chose like a lime green.

- [Tiffany] So you're going to have blue Flarp,

and a lime green Flarp. Alright.

Now I have my iPad here, for my Pinterest.

That's of course where I got it from.

All right, there it is.

Homemade Flarp, aka Gak or

fart putty?

Empty the bottles of glue into the mixing bowl.

- Ready, set, go!

- Looks like paint. Oh!

(glue splorps)

- [Bryce] Bubbles!

- [Tiffany] Yours had eyeballs.

- [Sierra] Mine does too.

- [Bryce] Mine had big ones.

- [Tiffany] Fill the empty bottles of glue with water,

and then put the lids back on.

Whoa, slow down, slow down! It's gonna overflow.

And, stop!

Okay, put your lids back on.

One lid for you, one lid for, oh no.

That was not very smart of me. - Why did you do that?

- [Tiffany] Sorry, Bryce. (laughs) - I knew it would happen.

- Why'd you do that? - I'm gonna rinse this off.

- [Tiffany] Good idea.

Okay, lids are back on, and it says to

"Shake 'em like a Polaroid picture!"

Shake 'em! Shake it! Shake it!

No, shake it! Good. There you go.

- Water's coming out of it.

- [Tiffany] Uh oh. (laughs) Oh no, we're making a mess.

All right, it's all mixed up.

Go ahead and pour it, into the glue.

- It's like white water.

- [Tiffany] Add some food coloring.

- How much? - [Tiffany] As much as you want.

The more you use, the brighter it's going to be.

All right, Bryce, put your blue in.

(dye drips)

That might be good, I don't know.

You're just going to use the whole thing,

knowing Bryce, right?

- Looks good for now. Oh, mine's coming out weird.

Go faster.

- Ooh, it's going on my hand.

- [Tiffany] Oh, your hands are going to be blue.

Okay, next step is to pour one teaspoon of the bore-ox,

I hope I'm pronouncing that right--

- [Bryce] Bore-ax? - [Mom] Bore-ax, bore-ox.

I already put some in here, to make it easier.

These are going to be your Flarp containers.

- [Bryce] So, do we put them in there?

- [Tiffany] So, one teaspoon of that.

- [Bryce] Into this one? - [Tiffany] In there. Yep.

Right? Is it?

- [Sierrra] Yeah, it is.

I thought a teaspoon was smaller.

- [Bryce] That's good? - [Tiffany] Yep!

Okay. Now you're going to put half a cup of warm water

into each of these.

Half a cup, hopefully it fits in that.

- [Sierra] Okay, good. - [Tiffany] Okay.

We're gonna give that a stir, don't make a mess,

I already see it coming.

So that borax will probably start to dissolve

in the warm water.

- Yeah, I was gonna say, not very much

- [Tiffany] So mix until it's well dissolved, well mixed.

Okay, next step: you're gonna pour into your glue mixture.

And then you can give it a little stir with your spoon.

But after that, you're gonna have to use your hands.

- I can already feel it!

- [Mom] Yep. It says that it instantly--

- [Sierra] Yeah, look at it! - [Bryce] Whoa!

- [Tiffany] Oh, wow. - [Bryce] It's already sticky!

- [Sierra] So now we use our hands?

- [Tiffany] Yeah, stir it a little bit with the spoon,

but it's gonna get too hard,

and then you'll have to use your hands.

- [Bryce] Whoa!

- [Sierra] Isn't that weird? It's all marble-y.

- [Tiffany] Oh, be careful.

This is so weird, but cool!

- [Tiffany] Ew, that's so weird.

- [Sierra] Mine looks like slime

look at mine, 'cause mine is green.

- [Tiffany] Oh, you used a ton of food coloring, Bryce.

- [Sierra] Mine looks like I'm like the Ghostbusters ghost,

the green-- - [Bryce] Think I should put

my hand in there?

- [Sierra] It looks like real slime.

- [Tiffany] Get your hands down.

Here, put your spoons on this towel.

- [Bryce] It looks like real slime.

- [Tiffany] Yep, you're gonna touch it. Oh, shoot.

- [Bryce] I'm gonna touch all the food coloring stuff.

- [Tiffany] Yep, it's gonna happen.

Your hands are gonna be blue.

Wait, scoop this off. All right, stir with hands.

Seems like it's too liquidy, doesn't it?

- [Bryce] Uh, this feels so weird! What'd you say?

- [Tiffany] It seems really liquidy. Be careful, Bryce,

you've got a lot of food coloring there.

- Eww. - Yeah, I know.

- Wanna touch me?

- I have all this glue, it's not mixed in yet.

- [Tiffany] You gotta mix it good. Ewwww.

- [Bryce] Feels so weird.

- [Tiffany] How's it mixing? - [Bryce] Good.

- [Tiffany] Good?

- [Bryce] But it's really liquidy.

- [Tiffany] Yeah. (laughs)

All right, guys. It says if it's not completely

coming together right, we have to add another teaspoon

of the borax, with a little bit of water.

So you're gonna mix that in here again.

So we're gonna add some more of that mixture in there,

hopefully that helps, - [Bryce] Stir it around?

- [Tiffany] Yep. Just keep mixing it.

Bryce, you're gonna have blue hands for like a week.

- [Bryce] Ew, this feels so weird 'cause all the borax.

I can feel it.

- [Tiffany] You don't think it's gonna work?

- It feels like our Flarp that we bought from the toy store.

- [Tiffany] Well, that's good. How bout yours, Bryce?

- Mine does not. - [Tiffany] No? Uh oh.

- Maybe you put too much food coloring?

- Yeah. Food coloring. - Looks like it.

- [Tiffany] All right, we're gonna give it a try,

put some into the little container,

and then we're gonna try to flarp it.

Okay, hands are washed, Bryce has some blue hands, sorta.

Oh jeez, Bryce. Let's try to flarp it!

- [Tiffany] Ready? - Ready, set, go!

- Oh wait, that feels weird.

(putty flarps)

- Oh! Mine's too small.

- Wait, remember on ours, you have to do this?

- Yeah, mine's too small.

- [Tiffany] You need more?

- Yeah. Can I grab more?

- [Tiffany] Seems too liquidy, huh?

Needs to dry out a little bit.

- Yeah, needs to dry a little bit.

It's kind of weird. Like when you stick your fingers in it,

it's not all smooth. It gets all weird and bumpy.

- [Tiffany] Maybe you didn't mix it enough.

- No, it's like...

- Mine's starting to dry up.

- [Tiffany] And then try again later.

Okay, so we're done with our DIY, right?

Is that what it's called, DIY?

And I see her setting up hers!

Would you like to say what you're doing for your channel?

- I'm gonna make galaxy slime

with two different types of glue, and we're gonna see

which one does better.

- So if you guys wanna see how that turns out,

of course go to her channel.

- Oh! YouTube.com/SierraCreates

- To see how that turns out.

- Oh. Not even--

- Not even what?

- It's not even slime, my paint is just not good at all.

- All right, so we just wrapped up and cleaned up

from Sierra's galaxy slime,

and now we're gonna test out the Flarp,

see if it's any better.

No, just put your fingers in it.

- I know, but there's some liquid in there.

(putty squelches and flarps)

- [Tiffany] Oh! There's one.

- Ew! - It's a block.

- [Tiffany] So not quite the same as the store bought stuff?

Was it fun making it, though?

- Yeah! It was fun making.

- Wait, should we put these in the freezer?

See what they're like in the morning?

- [Tiffany] If you want to, Bryce.

- Yeah! I wanna do that.

- [Tiffany] "I wanna do that!"

- Think they'd be like ice, or--

- [Tiffany] I dunno. - Let's do it!

- [Tiffany] Let's see 'til tomorrow.

Wait 'til tomorrow to see.

- These are always so hard to put back on. Heeeee!

- [Tiffany] Into the freezer they go!

We'll see how they are tomorrow.

Yeah, we should probably put em upright.

- Or do you think we should put them on the bottom,

because it's colder down there?

- [Tiffany] It doesn't matter.

- Ew! That's a lot of mayonnaise!

- Dinnertime! Have some turkey burgers.

I busted out the George Foreman grill.

Some Red Robin fries.

- Mmm, mmm, mmm.

- Time to chow down. Nice shirt, Bryce.

- I dunno what it says. Oh yeah!

- [Tiffany] "Ask me about your ninja disguise."

(laughs)

That shirt's so cool.

Looking good, Bryce. What'd you put on it?

- Ketchup, lettuce, tomato,

avocado, cheese, and burger.

- [Tiffany] Grilled onions?

- And grilled onions, under the--

- [Tiffany] Cheese? - Under the cheese.

(crowd murmuring)

- All right. Just ate our fabulous dinner.

It was pretty good. - Yeah.

- I think. - Mhmmm, pretty good.

- Hi, Babies! - Hi, Baby doggy.

- We're going to go ahead and say goodnight.

Sierra's going to edit her footage

from the video she just shot,

get it all ready for next Thursday.

So, again, look out for that next Thursday.

And, we'll see you guys tomorrow.

- Yep!

- [All] Bye!

- Vlog on!

- Well, we made our way back to the AirBnB,

and we're gonna call it a night. It was a action-packed day,

and we have two more to go.

So stay tuned, check back tomorrow,

I'll show you guys more of the expo floor,

let you see some of the games they have going on,

the exhibits, that sort of thing.

Today was more of just a floater day,

scoping everything out, seeing what's on the floor,

tomorrow we'll actually dive in, play some games,

meet some cool people.

So, looking forward to it. We'll see you then. Vlog on.

- Vlog on.

The TECH! - Make your own Pip-Boy from Fallout 4 - Duration: 8:41.

The fallout franchise certainly has its fair share of brilliant iconography.

One of the most exemplary pieces of equipment to come out of the series would have to be

the RobCo Personal Information Processor, otherwise known as the Pip-boy.

Within every Fallout game, the player, alongside many other Vault-dwellers, has received one

of these for their wrist, gaining all of the advantages it brings.

The Pip-boy may be as iconic to the series as the likes of Deathclaws, super mutants

or even the Vault Boy bobbleheads….but I'm here to ask and hopefully answer a very interesting

question...is it possible?

Or more to the point, can we create a device that acts almost exactly like a Pip-boy in

our real world?

To answer that, we need to learn exactly what it's purpose was in the Fallout universe

and what items we'd need to check off to build our very own iteration of this wrist

eye candy.

As we find out in Fallout 3, when a person has their tenth birthday in a vault, they

receive a pip boy, which is almost universal to the other iterations in the franchise.

It's used as a sign of progression towards adulthood and having responsibilities, therefore

it helps the user organise themselves and their equipment.

It has a function to track and store any and all items the player character picks up.

Obviously this game mechanic is completely unrealistic and unless you want a giant bag

dangling from your wrist, this function of the pip-boy isn't going to come close, in

our real world.

As for keeping track of yourself, well that's a different story.

A group of individuals at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology have delivered to

us a pill shaped device that through audio waves can track your vital signs and feedback

to a computer or other device.

You simply consume it like you would a regular pill, like for example a paracetamol and bingo,

it's in.

The device then slowly goes down your Gastrointestinal Tract, through your internal systems and then

lies in your stomach for a few days, collecting and a distributing data about your Hearts

beat per minute along with your respiratory rate.

Honestly, it's a little difficult to read as an outsider, however, i'm sure once you

become accustomed to reading the acoustic wave of your insides, you'll know what's

what and whether you'll just straight up fall over and die in the immediate future

or you'll live through another dreadful day in the harsh wastes.

Although it is a very useful piece of 'wireless' technology to keep track of your vital signs,

it's not a permanent option since it pops out of your poop shoot after a while, so it

may not be completely viable option, but I digress.

Moving onto another very useful portion of the pip-boys abilities, mapping out areas.

In the fallout games, you can locate a local map for smaller areas, such as inside buildings

or the world map to view the whole playable area, with location marks on the places that

the pip-boy recognises you've been to.

There is always the option to fast travel, to said places but I think we all know that

it's literally the game just skipping/simulating the walk for ya there.

So a map, that can track your location?

Well a simple solution would be a portable satellite GPS system, strapped to your wrist

for convenience.

A good example of this would be the Garmin eTrex 10 GPS Outdoor Handheld.

It's simple to use, its reasonable small and guess what, you can even put in your own

locations that you want to go to or places you've been, so you can check map markers

off the list.

We've got a pill to track our health and a GPS duct taped to our wrist for mapping...not

much of a pip boy, right?

Well don't worry your little head because Ashley Hennefer and her Space Apps team have

us covered.

They've been inspired by the Fallout series so much that they've decided to give a little

back, and try and do my job for me...but they've got the physical talent, knowhow and resources

to actually do it.

And so they did.

Sure it doesn't solve our inventory problem, but that shit ain't getting solved unless

you have a personal robot butler following you around, carrying all of your possessions,

everywhere you go.

They have however, 3d printed out a model of the pip boy, reminiscent of the 3000, and

thrown a bunch of cool shit into it.

Whilst on your wrist, it has the capability to have live mapping, showing you your surroundings,

whilst updating where you go, on the move.

Which is exactly how it functions in-game.

The only difference is you can't click a button on this and it magically does the walking

for you...that would be just outstanding when that day comes.

They've also implemented a homemade but fully tested and accurate geiger counter for

those radioactive situations, we always encounter in the Fallout series.

So you won't have to worry about venturing into that steamy yellow cave too much.

There were also plans, as you can see, to develop it further to track your vitals, alongside

ambient temperature, relative humidity, atmospheric pressure as well as object temperature using

an infrared thermometer.

They may have actually gone back to finish these touches off, but they were unable to

completely finish it during the Space Apps 48 hour development marathon and I can't

seem to find where they are with it today.

I can tell you that they had even higher goals with their pipboy, improving on it's in

game variant… by adding not just a radio to listen to, like in the games, but a radio

device to communicate with other wastelanders and settlements.

All of this data gathered from the sensors and for changing the frequency was fully developed

and viewed on the touch screen of an old iPhone.

The data is then distributed to and from a hub device or just a mainframe computer, through

a TI BLE Sensor, which is just a really efficient bluetooth system that doesn't drain your

batteries too quickly.

And wa-laa, a pip boy is born.

So they've effectively got everything covered, with their last plans set in stone as to attempt

to configure a Bluetooth EEG Heart Rate Monitor to track your vitals and progress from there.

I think the last thing that we need to do now, is provide an alternative to the The

Vault-Tec Assisted Targeting System, otherwise known as V.A.T.S.

For those who don't know, in the majority of the fallout games, Vats has acted like

a time stop button, to allow the user to plan out their attack, and aim for a distinct body

part rather than just an enemy in general.

It has become a very useful staple gameplay mechanic for the franchise, and has only improved

as the games have evolved.

So can we stop time, or like in Fallout 4, engage in Bullet time?

No, unless you trip some serious balls on some fucking weird ass drugs, you ain't

gonna perceive time anywhere near that slow.

What about targeting individual body parts?

Well, yes and no.

There are some automated turret systems that can target at specific body parts under certain

conditions to immobilize a target but as for use with a single human unit, no we cannot.

We can however create an outline of potential targets, which will mostly come in handy during

darker periods of your time in the wasteland.

We can do this by using a technology that has been around and used for the past few

decades but has only recently been "perfected"... that being, Thermal sensorial rifle scopes.

I know what you're thinking, that ain't gonna be attached to my wrist, alongside the

rest of my gear.

It is sorta the next best thing, though.

Just stick it onto your gun, aim and you're good to go, V.A.T.S DiY style.

DIY Cape with back opening (Hindi) - How to make a Cape for Lehenga or Saree - Duration: 5:35.

Hey, Welcome to Peej Fashion

I received a request at my facebook page to make this top.

This top making would be a little complicated to understand,

so I'm making a Cape instead.

Things that we need-

1 meter 10 inches of Fabric

I am taking a flower lace fabric.

Newspaper, pen

Inch tape, scissor, tape, cutter, pins,

hook & eye

matching thread, needle

and borders.

Cut newspaper from the middle and tape it from

the smaller sides.

Fold it from the center

Measure shoulder round, which is 36" in my case

Length of any newspaper would be around 13 to 15"

Mark 2" down the length (standard with any size)

And mark half of the shoulder round at the other side

Join the point together and then make a slight curve

Mark 11" down for cape length

Tape extra newspaper underneath if you want a longer cape

Mark 11" following the curve

We want atleast 3 inches extra here from the shoulder round

So we are marking 21"

If you are heavy on top then you can add one or two inches extra as well

To do so, you might have to tape another newspaper at the side too

Join all the lines.

And cut it.

We have made this cape pattern in a fold so that you can

open this pattern and place it on the fabric,

if your fabric has some unique design that you want.

I am keeping it in a fold only coz my fabric has

a flower design all over it.

Keep the folded side of the pattern

on the folded side of the fabric.

Pin it in place so that the pattern won't move.

Leave seam allowance before cutting.

Pin the borders in place and stitch it.

Please do not stretch the fabric while stitching it.

Cape is ready. Now we just need to stitch the

hooks and eyes.

Place the hook inside at one end

and stitch it.

Place the eye outside at the other end and stitch.

Stitch 2 to 3 hooks for a durable closure.

Cape is Ready.

I have paired this cape with an anarkali suit.

You can pair it with any skirt, lehenga and even western wear.
