Playing games may require a lot of your time and sometimes it's hard to share this hobby
with being socially active.
And while usually you can feel pretty fine with having nobody around, there are those
dark moments when you feel all empty inside and in need of some human contact.
Is it a sign that you need to change your habits?
Nah, there are video game that'll make you feel better.
So here they are, 7 GAMES TO REPLACE YOUR FRIENDS AND LOVED ONES
1. Skyrim
Skyrim is a wonderful game cause when your Steam friends see you playing it, they don't
exactly know which mods you are
running and that instead of fighting ancient dragons,
you're rather busy building and furnishing your new home, roaming the world in search
for new gifts for your virtual wife or maybe you're in the process of adopting some kids.
And while it won't replace the real life, taking a little break from swinging your axe
and focusing on more social aspects of the game should make you feel a little warmer
inside, without the need to talk to actual human beings.
2. Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire
Oh Eder…he's the sweetest son of a bitch in any RPG ever.
That doesn't mean that other Pillars of Eternity companions are bad but there's
no one, NO ONE even close to him…
There's this thing with most of the party-based RPG's - you can get REALLY attached to your
companions.
Even when not playing the game, you would think about your buddies, all the adventures
you've been on together and the new ones, just waiting there for you.
Oh the sweet moments when you reunite with your party to continue the journey to the
unknown!
3. Persona 5 This one's a PlayStation exclusive.
If your young years are already behind you and you're missing the times when the world
was open and full of possibilities, with each day feeling new and exciting, you can actually
revive some of those emotions playing Persona 5!
If you're not afraid of jRPG's, the game, aside from your typical RPG activities, would
offer lot of options to simply chill and get to know your high-school buddies better.
Be warned though, this game is LOOOONG, so you might find yourself lost in it for long
weeks.
4. Grand Theft Auto V
If you're one of those bad boys, who's idea of hanging out with friends brings more
illegal activities to the table, it's a perfect game to fill up your social meter.
Oh yeah, it's all there – drugs, violence, strip clubs, lots and lots of bad language
– your mom won't be proud.
But you don't care, you're an outlaw now, riding in your bulletproof car, shooting random
players.
Especially those new ones, who are trying to have some casual fun.
And if you don't like online, don't worry, there's more than plenty of npcs in the
story mode that you can punch in the face!
5. The Sims 4
Here it is!
The most obvious game on the list.
And while The Sims isn't a big surprise, the fact that the title is focused heavily
on building social relationships means that there's no option for you to feel alone
when playing it.
And the best part is – you can be whoever you like here – a super sweet guy, greeting
everybody with a wide smile and sparkling eyes or a small time thief, getting into fights
with random people, not shying away from the "juice".
The choice is yours.
6. Stardew Valley
An overall peaceful experience.
When not taking care of your garden, which is the core of the game, you can just walk
around Pelican Town and get to know all of the villagers.
Most of them would be super friendly and if you invest enough time and/or gifts you can
develop deep relationships and some of them could even end up with a marriage.
This beautiful, pixel art world is a wonderful place to escape from your real life and find
a second, better home.
7. The Walking Dead
Having friends is not just fun and laughs.
Imagine if you find yourselves In a middle of a zombie apocalypse.
The situation would get tough and require some super tough decisions like who would
eat, who would survive or which of your companions have to be left behind.
And all of those decisions are ON YOU.
Yeah, this game can be heartbreaking sometimes but by creating a really tense atmosphere
it makes you really care about the characters.
If you're looking for something emotionally heavy, you should definitely pick this one
up.
And that's it, hope the video made you feel a little warmer inside and helped you to find
your feel-good game.
If not or in case you would like to add some more games to the list, remember to leave
us a comment.
Thank you for watching and see you next time!
