Arsenal news: Unai Emery told to make huge Mesut Ozil transfer decision by Collymore - Duration: 3:22.
That is the controversial opinion of player-turned-pundit Stan Collymore. Ozil was substituted off after 68 minutes of Arsenal's 3-2 defeat to Chelsea earlier this month when the scores were tied and the Gunners were chasing a winner
And the German play-maker was missing altogether from the 3-1 win at home to West Ham in the weekend just gone
Ozil's absence was explained officially as being due to illness, which would represent the seventh time since the start of last year he has been missing because of sickness
But reports emerged from ESPN Brazil afterwards suggesting that the 29-year-old had a fall-out with Emery on the training ground because of a dispute over his role in the team
The Spanish tactician denied such claims even though Ozil was present at the Emirates Stadium and spent an hour in the dressing room with his team-mates
Emery declared: "The information isn't true. I don't know who started telling people this information
He was sick yesterday and decided not to play today." But Ozil - named one of Arsenal's five captains under Emery - has been publicly told by his manager to improve his work-rate
Ozil signed a new £350,000-a-week contract with the north London outfit at the start of this year and has been a key playe ever since joining from Real Madrid in 2013
But former Nottingham Forest and Liverpool winger Collymore believes Arsenal should offload their star midfielder because he doesn't fit into Emery's high-energy style of play
Writing in his Daily Mirror opinion column, Collymore said: "Arsenal should let Mesut Ozil go at the end of the season because he is not the soldier Unai Emery is going to need
"He requires more than technique from Ozil. Emery needs grinders and grafters. Players with less technique than him but more energy, heart and spirit
"Ozil has coasted for the last two or three years and so have Arsenal. But Emery will have no intention of doing the same
"They should sit down with him, shake his hand and say tell him he is a cracking player, but also a luxury player Arsenal can't afford right now
" Reports from the Daily Telegraph last night revealed that the Arsenal board will not pressure Emery into a decision as he seeks to avoid the kind of power struggle he endured with Neymar at Paris Saint-Germain
The manager was forced to concede that Neymar had more power than him following a world-record £198million move from Barcelona, acknowledging that Neymar joined "in order to be the leader" of the club

Arsenal's five summer signings have enjoyed varying fortunes in the opening three games of the 2018/19 Premier League season
Matteo Guendouzi, 19, has undoubtedly made the best start with a string of promising performances against Manchester City, Chelsea and West Ham
But beyond that the other four signings have struggled.Sokratis Papastathopoulos has looked a mixture of shaky and solid while Stephan Lichtsteiner made his debut in the City defeat
Lucas Torreira, on the other hand, has only played 100 minutes' worth of football and new goalkeeper Bernd Leno hasn't featured at all
What's frustrated Arsenal fans most is Torreira's lack of action.Brought in from Sampdoria for £26m, the Uruguayan was the Gunners' biggest signing but hasn't started a game yet
So why is that? Unai Emery said earlier this month that Torreira is ready to play but named him on the bench for the City, Chelsea and West Ham games
That's despite Granit Xhaka giving away possession numerous times and Guendouzi also getting caught out because of his inexperience
It's been unclear what the problem is, but now Torreira may have explained why he hasn't been starting for Arsenal
According to the 22-year-old, he's still "getting to grips" with Emery's style of play and adapting to the Premier League, which is very different to Italy's Serie A
"I'm one of the newer players and I've just joined up with the squad," said Torreira
"There are a lot of young players and we're working very hard, with a lot of intensity
"We're getting to grips with what the coach wants from us and I think we've played some good football in the past few games
"We got our first win which was massive for us, but there's a long road ahead and a lot of games to play
"So the best thing for us now is to rest up, focus on our next game and concentrate on our preparation, which is vital
I'm really happy."I'm settling in nicely and training hard - the sessions are different too
The confidence will grow with every game, so that' great."You train hard, you give your all and you want to improve

So to make the letter, you're gonna need three things,
An envelope, this thing I don't really know the name of, and a candlestick to create the wax seal!
And you can all find these at Barnes & Noble! :)
So first you're going to take that thing, and put it over the candle flame, (forgot to mention that you need a candle too lol.)
And then you're going to take the candlestick and wait for the bottom of the thing to heat up,
And just let the candle wax melt into it!
This did not work. So what happened was I waited too long to pour the wax over the envelope and it ended up
not turning out right, so just watch out for that. So I refilled it, and it came out pretty good, and here's what happened.
And that's what it should look like. :)
So now you're going to take the Hogwarts wax seal stamp thing, and just press it down over the wax.
And this did not work either. So what happened was I didn't press down hard enough,
and it didn't turn out right, so I just tried again, so just watch out for that, and it will turn out pretty good!

How to Make a World-Record-Breaking Paper Airplane - Duration: 3:20.
So you want to make the world's farthest-traveling paper airplane.
The technique you learned in school won't cut it.
When making a paper plane, there are four things to consider:
No. 1: The Paper
Paper is measured in the weight of a ream—500 pages.
The average copier paper in the U.S. is 20-24 pound stock.
Guinness World Record rules allow us to use paper that weighs up to 100 grams per square meter,
or about 26.4 pounds.
Paper that heavy usually comes in A4—an international paper size not commonly used in the U.S.
John Collins, the paper plane designer who currently holds the world-record,
says you want paper that's been photocopied on.
The heat process from the photocopy machine stiffens the paper.
And the ink is not actually ink, it's a microfine layer of plastic.
Those two things—the heat and the plastic—help the paper hold a crease.
Use something that's in the recycle bin, you know?
And don't use something that's been printed on.
That ink will hurt the fibers of the paper.
You want something that's been photocopied onto if you're using recycled papers.
No. 2: Forces and Center of Gravity
For any paper airplane, you'll have to deal with two major forces during your flight:
lift, or upward force, and drag, or backward force.
Your plane needs to generate more lift than drag to go up.
When more drag is generated than lift, the plane falls.
You have to engineer in a way for the plane to gain speed to counteract drag.
You put a small bend at the back of the plane, upward, so that when the plane has gained
sufficient speed, there's enough air bouncing off of that upward bend to deflect the tail
back down and that pulls the nose up and now it's level again.
When designing your aerial vehicle, you'll want to make sure the wings are bent upwards.
This is called a positive dihedral angle, and helps the plane to correct itself if it starts to sway.
When one wing dips too low, it produces extra lift and the plane will return to its center of gravity.
No. 3: Location! Location! Location!
It's not easy to find a space big enough to break this world record.
Collins' world-record breaking airplane was thrown by quarterback Joe Ayoob
at the McClellan Air Force Base in Sacramento, CA.
And Collins says you need the perfect weather conditions.
All of our best throwing days were 52 to 62 degrees, 25-30% humidity.
If the air thickness is wrong, or if the wings aren't stiff enough to take care of the
air quality, the plane tends to die in that last third.
You want perfectly stable.
No. 4: The Throw
The best form isn't like a pitcher in baseball, or even like an NFL quarterback.
It's like a javelin thrower.
The great thing about Joe is that he had a way, a knowledge, of changing his throw to
match the sport that really was invaluable in looking at
how to throw the paper airplane the best way.
We worked together for about 18 months and he was working on his throwing technique the whole time.
To summarize: Find 100 GSM A4 paper, design your plane with the proper center of gravity
and center of lift, and throw it the right way in the right place under the right conditions.
Congrats, you're now a world record holder.

How to Make Herbal Tincture Extracts: The Folk (Maceration) Method - Duration: 4:37.
Hi, my name is Thomas Easley, I'm the director of the Eclectic School of
Herbal Medicine and co-author of the Modern Herbal Dispensatory. Today, I'm with
Mountain Rose Herbs, and we're going to talk about making tinctures via the
maceration process. So, making maceration tinctures is
pretty easy: you just take your plant material, put it in a container, cover it
in the appropriate percentage of alcohol (as your solvent) to pull the
stuff that's inside the plant into solution, and let it sit. But, there's a
couple of tricks that will increase the potency of your preparation that
we'll talk about. So first of all, cut and sifted herbs are wonderful because
there's less exposure to oxygen than with powders, so they last longer, but the
same thing that protects this from oxygen, making it last longer, makes
it harder for your solvent (in this case a mixture of alcohol and water) to
pull all the good stuff into solution. So, what we're going to do is decrease the,
or increase the surface area, and we're gonna do that by blending it with our
menstruum. So, barberry does well in a fifty percent alcohol solution, and you
can take your plant material put in a jar cover with booze and let it sit
without measuring or weighing, but to get more consistent extracts, doing just a
little bit of preparation (weighing and measuring) helps a lot.
So most extracts are made in a 1-to-5 weight-to-volume ratio, which means
1 gram of plant material for 5 milliliters of solvent. What we're going
to do is weigh out a hundred grams of barberry
and we're going to use 500 milliliters of our 50 percent ethanol/50 percent
water mixture which we've already measured out, and we're going to throw
this into a blender so that we reduce this cut and sifted herb into a form
that's closer to a powder but maybe not quite so fine, just so that we expose more
surface area of the plant to our solvent to our menstruum.
Now that we've reduced our particle size a little bit, exposing more of our
barberry root to our menstruum, this simply goes into our jar (lots of plant material there)
and our lid goes on. Now, we label it with the Latin name, our weight-to-volume
ratio (1 to 5), 50% to ethanol, and the date, because sometimes these get lost in
cabinets and you want to make sure that it's labeled well so that you know what
it is in case that happens. And then we're gonna put this in a dark place
away from sunlight, we're gonna pull it out, we're gonna give it a shake every
day for 30 seconds, and in three to six weeks, depending on the plant, this
will be ready to go. This one doesn't take very long, about three weeks and
your barberry maceration will be done. You then can strain and filter it out,
put it in your final containers, for use. And that's how you make a standard
maceration. If you have any questions about what percentage of alcohol, or

It tells me they're not interested in his cooperation," Polisi said, wrinkling her brow
After Jansing noted that Trump has "no constitutional defenses to what the Southern District is investigating", Polisi commended Mueller's decision to refer the case to New York
"If you look back at Mueller's sort of big grand scheme of things, this is a brilliant move to farm out this piece of the investigation," she said
"Remember back when President Trump said it would be a red line if Mueller and his team looked into his personal finances?" Polisi added
"Guess what, they're not, it's the Southern District. They have complete rein, regardless of what happens to the special counsel's investigation. A key and smart move on the part of Mueller."
