What is: Xcelerator - Knott's Berry Farm - Duration: 3:52.

Xcelerator is a launched steel roller coaster, located at Knott's Berry Farm, in California, USA.

USA.

The ride is well known for being the world's first roller coaster to feature a hydraulic

launch system, in which riders are quickly and consistently accelerated to a high speed.

On top of this, Xcelerator was one of the first roller coasters to feature the now iconic

top hat element, providing guests with both fantastic views and small amounts of airtime.

The ride opened to the public on the 22nd of June 2002.

It was built at the cost of 13 Million USD, by Swiss roller coaster company, Intamin.

It was Intamin who first invented, and popularised, the widely used hydraulic launch system.

Instead of using magnets or a large weight, to accelerate the train to its maximum speed,

hydraulic launches use a cable winch system.

Before the launch occurs, a catch car hooks onto the underside of the train.

While guests board the vehicle's, electrical energy is gradually stored within large hydraulic

pumps.

As the train launches, the energy is released from the pumps, causing the cable, and train,

to be pulled along the launch straight.

This method allows for Xcelerator to launch from 0, to 132kmh (82mph), in approximately

2.3 seconds.

Once riders have made reached their top speed, and traversed the launch straight, they begin

the steep climb.

The trains ascend vertically to the maximum height of 62.5m, 205ft.

At this point, guests slowly navigate the rides top hat element, before plummeting back

down towards the ground.

The trains fall, at the maximum angle of 90 degrees, and enter a large, left-hand overbanked

turn.

This leads riders into a second overbanked turn, this time to the right, before allowing

them to slide into the ride's final brake run.

Even though the full experience only lasts for approximately 25 seconds, guests navigate

over 670m (2200ft) of track.

From beginning to end, Xcelerator is a fast paced, thrilling, roller coaster.

The ride also has a theme to match.

Xcelerator is loosely themed to retro drag racing, which can be seen within the design

of the trains and station building.

The rides station resembles american retro architecture of the 1950s, while the cars

imitate that of a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air.

The trains themselves feature 5 cars, each of which seat riders in two rows of two.

This leads to a total of 20 guests per train.

A maximum of 2 trains can navigate the circuit at any one point in time, resulting in a theoretical

throughput of 1330 riders per hour.

Unfortunately however, the Intamin hydraulic launch coaster model is not known for it's

high throughput and excellent reliability.

Xcelerator, and the many rides around the globe similar to it, often suffer from large

amounts of downtime.

The complicated nature of the launch can cause the ride system to easily run into errors,

resulting in the attraction shutting down.

This downtime is natural, and well established in the world of roller coaster safety.

Nevertheless, when operating, Xcelerator is a fantastic experience from start to finish.

Because of this, several parks have adopted the technology to develop taller and faster

rides, often pushing the limits of both engineering and thrills.

Although, despite being the prototype model; many prefer Xcelerator due to its comfortable

lap bar restraints, and seemingly snappier initial launch.

Ultimately, the final question remains:

Empowered By Sensitivity What Type of Empath Are You - Duration: 6:38.

you

empowered by sensitivity it sounds strange doesn't it sort of ironic

contradictory even mutually exclusive how can you be empowered by something so

soft subtle and delicate in a world full of heart overpowering and loud people

indeed many of us empaths get trampled used thrown around and taken advantage

of but we have a secret deep down inside beyond the veil of our superficial

appearances we Harbor something quiet but powerful our gifts don't dominate

tyrannize or overthrow people but that doesn't detract from their strength or

usefulness if anything our powerful but subtle gifts benefit us more in the long

term allowing us to gather emotional psychological and physical information

from our surroundings that is often inaccessible and undisclosed to the

average unreceptive mind while we can't bully backstab or use brute force we can

heal guide protect and deeply understand the lives of the people around us

in essence we can gather immense amounts of knowledge and knowledge as they say

is power if you would like to discover whether you are an empathy keep reading

also if you would like to discover what type of empathy you are you will

discover the ten types at the end of this article

are you in empathy if you are an empathy you will experience a combination of

some Oh are all of the following symptoms you absorb other people's

emotions like a sponge carrying them as your own

when someone close to you is physically ill you can feel this as physical pains

in your body you often suffer from physical or mental fatigue and tiredness

you find solitude immensely refreshing and you require it to recharge you often

experienced many mood swings or emotional states throughout the day

witnessing violence or cruelty is unbearable to you you are a very good

listener people often come to you with their problems animals and children are

attracted to you you are caring and nurturing by nature you are hyper aware

of the physical environment eg to smell taste sight touch hearing etc you can't

stand interpersonal conflict crowded places are very overwhelming and

draining to you ten types of empathy while being in empathy can have its many

positives and benefits it can also weigh us down heavily with confusion

disorientation and anxiety that is why it's important to put a name to what we

individually experience to better understand ourselves and identify others

who share the same abilities as us for this reason I have included below a list

and small description of each type of empathy by understanding who you are

what gifts you possess and where you stand in life you will be able to begin

working with your soul I elaborate on these types in our awakened empathy book

Clare cognizant empathy this is usually defined by the ability to simply know

something needs to be done or is true or misleading without having any basis in

logic or reason often this type of empathy will just know when something is

right to do or not or when someone is lying or hiding something emotionally

receptive empathy most empaths are emotionally receptive and can physically

and emotionally feel the emotions from other people before they are even

expressed physically receptive empathy many empaths are also physically

receptive to other people's illnesses and bodily pains this often manifests

itself in the empathy is own body and can be an especially useful skill in

healing fana empathy this type of empathy can hear feel and interact with

animals flora empathy this type of empathy can

communicate with plants being able to receive physical and emotional signals

geomantic empathy the geomantic empathy can read the energy and signals

transmitted by the earth many are able to feel / predict natural disasters

before they occur medium empathy this type of empathy can either see hear feel

or a combination of these elements spirits usually from deceased

individuals psychometric empathy this manifests itself as the ability to

receive information energy and impressions from physical objects eg

photographs clothing jewelry utensils etc precognitive empathy this type of

empathy can feel the occurrence of an event or situation before it actually

happens this is usually manifested in dreams or as physical / emotional

sensations for instance dread anxiety or excitement

telepathic empathy the ability to accurately read a person's unexpressed

thoughts is the main defining feature of the telepathic empathy

Hi guys, Marcílio Albuquerque speaking and today we're gonna talk about...uh...

SUBTITLES or CLOSED CAPTIONS. Alright?

Uh...SUBTITLES or CLOSED CAPTIONS are these words or phrases

appearing here, at the bottom of the video screen,

But they can also appear in the same language

so that you can read the dialogue. Okay?

And...just to show you how to find these SUBTITLES

Just in case you want your SUBTITLES to disappear from your screen,

in other words, you want your SUBTITLES, uh... turned OFF from your screen,

you just go over here again

and just click on the CC button

and your SUBTITLES will disappear from your screen immediately. Alright?

Right next to this button, there's a SETTINGS button.

and if you click on the SETTINGS button

You're gonna see this option here

SUBTITLES / CLOSED CAPTIONS

By the way, CC stands for CLOSED CAPTIONS, alright?

And if you click on SUBTITLES / CLOSED CAPTIONS there will be these options here

Watch What Happens When the Secret - Duration: 10:15.

Watch What Happens When the Secret Service Doesn't Recognize Jim Acosta

CNN's White House Correspondent Jim Acosta was caught on video in the midst of a "meltdown"

when the Secret Service didn't recognize him on Wednesday.

The Wired Sources reporter who posted the video, Michael J. Morrison, wrote that Acosta

was "having a meltdown at Secret Service for not recognizing him despite the fact that

he's been there for 5 years.

We captured part of it on video."

Morrison told The Gateway Pundit that Acosta had walked from the South Lawn into the White

House without his credentials around his neck so the Secret Service stopped him.

"He started getting pissed that they didn't know him.

By the time I got my camera out he was already 'cooling down,'" Morrison explained.

Though the video only caught the tail end of the exchange, it is clear that the entitled

Acosta did not feel the need to bother wearing his credentials.

"I've been here five years and nobody has said that to me," Acosta says as he

walks away, clearly defeated.

Unfortunately for Acosta, the real White House rules still apply to the Fake News media.

Facebook has greatly reduced the distribution of our stories in our readers' newsfeeds and
