Hello everyone. It's Asagi.
Usually I make videos about Japanese culture and dancing.
Please check out my channel if you are interested in culture exchanging.
I visited Munich, Germany the other day for the first time.
It was a business trip... but I also had a time for sightseeing this time so I got a lot of things.
I will show you what I got!
So let's jump right into it.
I always show this when I go abroad...
Tada
Most of big cities have Hard Rock Cafe so I always get one.
I went to Bayern this time so I chose the one a girl who has a beer.
She has a Diandl, German traditional clothes. So cute!
I also see people who get mugs from Starbucks around the world
I'm not a fashionable person like that lol
And mug cups take a lot of space...
It's exciting that they have a new design every time I visit new places.
I love collecting these pins.
Next, I will show you what I bought from a German super market.
Germany has a Christmas market that starts 23th or 24th of November
I went there a few days ahead so it wasn't a full Christmas mode.
But they already had Christmas candies!
I got many of them!
(Don't know the name in German)
I heard these cookies are for Christmas.
These got a really strong ginger taste...
I don't see ginger cookies in Japan... they are not popular I guess...
And most of Japanese cookies are crispy right?
But German Christmas ginger cookies are fluffy!
Soft! Like, is that a cake?
I also got mini version so I will show you now.
These are small like this.
I can smell the ginger already!
See
It looks like this
It's soft!
It's so filling, and thick... delicious!
I love this flavor!
German friends said some people don't like it because of the strong ginger flavor.
It's worth trying if you like a ginger flavor.
Also I got beers from a super market.
People in Munich... or more like Bavarian?
They drink beer from Mornings! Isn't that awesome? lol
They are usually stronger than Japanese beers.
But they drink in morning, or lunch time during work like they don't care.
That doesn't happen in Japan!
You are alcoholic if you drink in a day time in Japan lol
It was quite a culture shock for me.
I mainly got Bavarian ones that I liked when I drink, or ones made in Munich.
I didn't research well but the limit you can bring to Japan is 2 litters.
You can carry 4 bottles of 500 ml beers.
So I got 4 bottles back to Japan with me.
2 bottles went to my family who love beers so much. They were happy with it.
The other two went to the person who is a boyfriend..
He drinks a lot so he was happy too.
I also got chocolates which I give to my colleagues and things like that, from a super market.
It's better to go to the super market in town since it's less expensive.
Next, I'm showing you what I got from Viktoalien Markt, a market in Munich.
There are various things you can find in the market
not only fruits, vegetables,
but also hand craft products.
of course beers, and flowers as well.
But, they only had German explanations.
It was tough a little bit since I cannot read German.
Had no idea what it says.
But staffs there speak English, you can talk to them to choose what you want to get.
And I got this.
Portini with salt
It's got a package like this.
It grind into powder when you twist.
It smells like...
It smells good for sure but
Is it because I'm Japanese?
It smells like a bonito broth lol
To be honest, I'm not really sure how I can use for... maybe pasta?
Let me know if you have an idea.
I already gave it so I don't have that anymore but
I got a Christmas ornament for my mom.
The one shaped with a bird which wears a Santa hat.
It was super cute I thought it was good for my mom and me because we love birds.
I also got a fruits smoothie and fresh fruits in the market
but I will show you in the other travel video.
The rest of the things are from dm, organic super market.
Japan doesn't have many organic super markets...
Or super expensive if there are some
It's not so common.
But Germany has a lot of dm
You can get things pretty easily... So I did!
Let's start with foods...
I couldn't get liquids or heavy things so
So I mainly got instant foods.
This one is an oat meal
Put a hot milk and you can go.
Got quinoa salad since I love quinoa.
This looks good too. Chia seed pudding I guess?
Put water and you can cook in 15 min. I'll definitely try.
I'll put it on my instagram so please check that out.
I don't even know what it is but I got it.
Red cabbage with an apple flavor I guess?
Apfel means an apple so...
I got it because it was unique and looked healthy anyways.
It says it's no.1 in Germany. It must be good!
I'll show you some cosmetics next.
It's actually not from Germany...
It says made in UK
I can't really get dried shampoo in Japan...
So I usually get one when I visit Western countries.
It smells so good... it's a cherry fragrance.
Also it's a vegan product.
They don't test on animals.
And when it comes to Germany, Kneipp!
I got more than 10 packs but they are gone because I distributed to friends and used by myself.
These look like a winter / Christmas version
Look very lovely.
I got this because I haven't seen in Japan.
You can use on your body and face...
Let's open up
It looks like a light texture.
It didn't spread that much.
It certainly has an oily texture though.
Cool cool
It looks useful for body. It spreads lightly.
But has a strong fragrance compare to Japanese products
I figured Germany is very dried!
We say Japanese winter is dried, but you can't compare to Germany.
Japan is more moistened I think... it's a little humid here but
I always freak out how dried other countries are.
I also got on a airplane... my skin was dead cause of dehydration.
It's painful even for guys if the skin get cracked...
I recommend to be careful and bring oil with you.
The last thing is...
Doesn't that look cute??
I got them on a first sight.
It was on a hand cream section... so I assume it's a hand cream.
It comes with a form.
I might give them to friends so I'm not using this now.
I also got clothes but I don't wear it now...
How can I show you...
I will put a picture or something.
It's a working clothes so simple.
That's all I got. How was it?
It would be great if it was either informative or you enjoyed like you visited Germany.
I filmed some video when I traveled and editing. Please stay tuned for that!
I enjoyed this product review thing...
It's exciting to show you what I got.
I'll probably do that with Japanese product as well.
So that's all for today! Don't forget to like this video and subscribe to my channel!
I will see you in the next video!
