🔵 How To Make Sticky Toffee Pudding || Glen & Friends Cooking - Duration: 10:12.

welcome friends today we are making a sticky toffee pudding recipe sort of a

quintessential British dessert recipe even though it's actually Canadian and I'll

get into that in a little bit so first off I've got some medjool dates some

boiling hot water and baking soda and I'm just going to mix that up in this

bowl I'm gonna let the dates soak in hot hot water and baking soda mixture and

they will soften up to the point where you can almost just mush them with the

back of a fork moving on from that we are going to deal with the flour in the

baking powder and so I'll just mix the baking powder into the flour next up is

the butter and brown sugar so we're just going to cream those together now I say

this is a Canadian recipe sort of tongue-in-cheek a little bit the story

goes that this was developed in England in the 1970s by a hotel restaurant they

say they got it from someone else who was a landlady at a bed-and-breakfast

and the landlady from the bed-and-breakfast says she got it from

two Canadian airmen that were stationed there during World War two they gave her

the recipe because they wanted a taste of home now that kind of makes sense

because it really is a very simple recipe very few ingredients very simple

method and I have to believe that they sort of knew what the recipe was and

their landlady filled in the blanks and created this now it's very close to a

date cake that my grandmother used to make

but that cake didn't have any sauce that went with it and I think the sauce is

the key to this recipe so we're gonna cream together this

next we beat in the eggs one at a time

okay next in is a little bit of vanilla and molasses the British recipes all

call for treacle treacle is not something that is readily available here

I mean you can get it in the grocery store but it's not something I keep in

my cupboard it's not something that most people keep in their cupboard here so

just put a little bit in and you can use fancy molasses you could use blackstrap

molasses you could use whichever molasses flavor profile you like some

people really love that blackstrap molasses so we'll beat that in now we're

gonna need some milk so I'll just measure it a little bit

here and we alternate between flour and milk with the mixer so in with a little

bit of flour about 1/3 maybe

then we'll pour it in a little bit of milk and we'll keep mixing and of course

if you need to scrape down the sides of the bowl scrape them down that is always

a really good practice to be in make sure that everything gets mixed together

so we'll add in a little bit more flour

so keep mixing

looking good now by no means is this the recipe as I research this the recipes

are all over the map and I'm trying to nail down I've got some calls out so

that I can nail down some of the original recipes that might have come

from Canada to England during the Second World War some recipe historians that

have access to cookbooks that I can't get on a regular basis and once I

figured that out I will link to it somewhere and we'll do a bunch of sort

of the originator recipes so you can see what the progression is the batter is

looking pretty good so at this point you just stir in the dates and the water

that they've been steeping in now the batter does get pretty runny and soupy

that's okay I'm going to cook this in muffin tins you could cook it in a

regular cake pan my idea with muffin tins is that tomorrow at the Christmas

gathering with the family everyone can get their own little sticky toffee

pudding on their plate I think will make for a really nice presentation

now it's time to make the sauce don't look the loaf spread the loaves of bread

are in another video today we're making sticky toffee pudding so the sauce is

really easy into a pot you've got butter brown sugar some molasses and you could

use Blackstrap I'm using fancy molasses the British recipes all call for treacle

and in next is a splash of vanilla and then we need some cream

and goes the cream and now because Julie's gonna ask for it I'm gonna get

some whiskey and just a splash but too much just give a little bit of flavor

now I put this on to the stovetop and we just heat it gently until everything's

melted and then we bring it up to a boil and you boil it for a minute so pour

this into a heatproof container and make sure that it's he proof because this

syrup is hot and you definitely don't want the glass to break and pour all

over the countertop and onto your feet because it would be horrible so I'm

gonna let this cool a little bit get Julie out into the kitchen and we'll

give it a taste

duh so I always think of this as too sweet sticky toffee pudding or is it

this I'm gonna trace the sauce first

mm-hmm and to sweet yes I could probably only half of one of

these see which is funny I haven't tried it yet but I have a hard time eating

fruitcake and mincemeat yeah I find that too rich I could eat those until I

explode hmm but this is so if you're if you think

that sticky toffee pudding is it's a date stick bring it all in yeah yes yeah

if you think a sticky toffee pudding as super dense this is not super dense this

is really light and airy isn't it hmm so second bite isn't mmm like you like

it this time right now to me this time no it's still too sweet but all the

flavors are there I really like the combination of flavors it's just I know

that I would be sick you might like it better without the sauce maybe you

should have tried it without the sauce first maybe I should have tried it

without the sauce but you know the sauces that annoys sauce for me assess

the sauce is fantastic okay so um you can make this I've made this in a muffin

tray you could make this in a sheet pan or you can make it in a cake pan you can

get around you can make it any shape that you want to have it is making any

type of right or not pastry yeah cake you just kind of I just thought

that this would make a nice presentation maybe not as nice as I thought it was

gonna be I would probably next time make it in a square and just scoop it out

lessons yep so hopefully everyone tomorrow will like this well you know my

alright guys so today imma show you guys how to make a shift to sprint script so

the first thing we're going to do is add a local script into this into the

starter character script and first thing to do is define our define our

variables so hold up so you don't have to write this but I just do it so the

script looks cleaner so we're gonna do local player equals game dot players dot

local player and we're gonna do local character we're gonna get the character

which is going to be player dot character just like that cause we set

player to game dot player down local player it's the same thing as adding dot

character to that except we already defined this as player and player

they're the same thing so we're you employed our character we're going to do

play our local user input service equals game get service user input service

that's going to get the service for us that we need to get the user's input

which is the key third press so now we're gonna do local speed equals unput

25 you can put whatever you want what this variable is going to be is the

speed that the player gets when they hold down shift so you can set this to

55 you know a million another matter you know you can set it to a million but

that's gonna be stupid because you're just gonna fly off the map so if you're

wondering for perspectives to know like what's a good one sixteen is the default

speed so we're gonna set it to 25 all right so now we're gonna do is we're

we hold down shift we get a little bit faster let go a shift goes back to

Hello everyone. In this tutorial we will program a simple first-person shooter

camera to our cube from the previous tutorial. We will be able to look up look

down and look left and right. And if you move, the cube will move to our

Okay let's start programming. I will continue from where we left off

before we begin I want to point out something in the previous tutorial I

mentioned that you can initialize our speed variable in here and star but this

This whole video is a joke, just like the title implies.

Please don't take anything seriously or perceive that I am ridiculing anyone or anything.

So… you want to make a tech video to grow your channel.

Where to begin?

So many endless possibilities, so many different things you could be possibly talking about.

But here on the internet, you have to be specific and consistent.

You can't make one video about-you know-old computers and then go to robotics...

...that's not how it works.

So let's talk about older technology.

After all, everyone who talks about it has the biggest audience...

...and thereby YOU will have the biggest audience.

So you have decided do just the thing.

You dust off an old Dell OptiPlex 755 that you had laying around...

...and it's the perfect candidate to do your first video on.

What makes a perfect candidate for such a video you may ask?

It has to make some people nostalgic, but also be a relic to mock and to inform newborns

about.

As for the futuristic and never-outdated year of 2018, it is computers from 2008, take my

word for it.

Also, starting at the age of 16, people will start to watch these type of tech videos

less and less; so speed the process up by discriminating against them and making random

TikTok references and thus make them feel isolated.

They should be watching videos about how terrible Snapchat is for the youth and how great Mode

7 was for the SNES, stuff that only THEY would care about.

Now to the actual computer.

Insert some aesthetically attractive-don't joke about it being sexually attractive or

else you will get demonetized-footage for everyone to gaze at.

This is the perfect time to visually brag to people about where you live and how clever

you are.

No one on the internet is humble, and this is your time to shine.

Place the computer in location that is more appealing than your nerd room, such on top

of a stump, adjacent to a river, next to a tree, in your car, and walking your pet.

In order to make it less obvious that you are deviating from the point of the video;

talk about random specs and talk about great they were back then and also how bad they

are now.

Make sure that you sound as smart and as arrogant as possible.

This is so that people are less able to counteract your possibly fabricated specs because of

your new fake persona that you will need to adopt.

For example, in a bad narrator voice say stuff like: "I hated this 4 gigabit per second

computer, and I hate it now.

Piece of junk with a horrible cold... two... dot gigawatt prosecutor.

Really rolls off the tongue and I absolutely hate it."

After introducing the computer, start upgrading the computer with better specs.

In the case of this computer, upgrade the PSU, CPU, GPU, some random peripheral, a reference

to an older video, your cat-in which the cat will leave because she hates you, and a stuffed

wolf for good measure, because "EatYourSheep".

Now power it on.

The goal for anyone is to run Crisis, the "Hotel California" of the computer benchmarking

world.

Show Crisis running really well and exclaim "This piece of junk really can run Crisis!".

Then say "oh wait", and reveal that it was actually Metroid Prime and not Crisis.

Pan over to reveal the other TV and show that the computer not only did not boot the

game, but did not boot an operating system.

In which you look inside the PC case and then realize: there is no internal storage.

Then explain that you absolutely 100% without a doubt have no way to install storage or

boot an operating system at this current time.

Finally, you conclude the video.

Say something something slightly optimistic yet still pessimistic at the same time, like

"There will have to be a part 2, where we"-never say "I", that makes you look like a egotistical

narcissist-"can finally get this piece of junk to run Crisis.

How to Make Easy Crab Stuffed Mushrooms - Duration: 3:15.

Today on The Stay At Home Chef I'm showing you how to make easy crab

stuffed mushrooms. If you're throwing a party and you need an easy, impressive,

and delicious appetizer these crab stuffed mushrooms definitely fit the

bill and boy are they tasty! To start you'll need to preheat your oven to 375

degrees Fahrenheit and lightly grease a 9 by 13 pan. You'll need about 24 large

mushrooms like this and you want to take a damp paper towel and just wipe off any

dirt or debris that's on your mushrooms. Then you're just gonna gently twist out

the stem. I like to get in there and make sure I get it all out and then I also remove

this edge portion as well and if you want you can use a spoon to remove the

gills if you want by I just I totally just leave them. Then place it into the

lightly greased 9 by 13 pan. You can use either cremini or white mushrooms for

this. It doesn't really matter. Whatever you can find that's the right size. Set

those aside for a second and we're gonna make our filling .First you'll need 12

ounces of lump crabmeat and yes you can always use imitation crab if you're on a

budget. You'll also need 1/2 cup of panko

breadcrumbs, 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese

2-3 tablespoons of lemon juice, 1/4 cup of melted salted butter

2 teaspoons of Dijon mustard, 2 teaspoons of prepared horseradish, 1 teaspoon of

onion powder, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder and then toss this all together. It's so

simple but there's some really amazing flavor in there

Next we'll just spoon a little bit into each of our mushroom caps. Once you have

them all stuffed we're gonna bake these in the 375 degree oven for 15 minutes or

until the mushrooms are tender. These are best served up hot and you are ready to

eat! I like to serve mine up garnished with a

little bit of freshly chopped parsley for color
