Alright, let's learn how to make this magical fairy dust glitter. Here is what you'll need:

You will need a glass potion bottle with a cork stopper on top.

You will need glitter of different varieties.

If you have biodegradable glitter, that is the best thing to use.

You will need a spoon.

You will need a mixing bowl.

And last, you will need a funnel.

Now that we have everything we need let's get started with this magical fairy dust tutorial.

The first thing you need to do is add three tablespoons of regular white glitter.

This is one you could definitely replace with biodegradable glitter.

Now go ahead and grab 3/4 teaspoon of a regular purple glitter.

Grab a heaping one and a half tablespoons of superfine white glitter.

Take 1/4 teaspoon of a smoky blue glitter and dump that into your mixture

This is a superfine glitter.

Grab 1/4 teaspoon of super fine of purple glitter and pour that into your fairy dust mixture as well.

1/2 teaspoon of a superfine silver glitter is next. Pour that into your giant cauldron.

And now, pour in 6 tablespoons of cellophane chunks.

Go ahead and get your spoon ready and mix up your fairydust!

* Beautiful Winter Music is Playing *

Time to take the cork stopper off of your vial and put the funnel on top.

Now slowly spoon the glitter into your potion bottle.

* Beautiful Winter Music is Playing *

Once all of your magical snow fairy Fairydust has gotten into your vial,

you can grab your cork stopper and put it back on top of your vial to make sure

all of this magical snow fairy dust stuff stays inside and doesn't cause a snowstorm somewhere in Northern Michigan.

Because we don't need it!!

Beginners Guide to Make Money RED DEAD REDEMPTION ONLINE (RDR2 Online) - Duration: 11:15.

what is up guys and welcome to another video today I will be showing you

exactly how to make money on Red Dead Redemption 2 now this is a beginner's

guide so if you've been playing Red Dead Redemption online for last month or so

it's probably best you click off this video because you're going to see a lot

of stuff that you've probably seen before and other videos other ones of my

videos but if you're a beginner if you got Red Dead Redemption over Christmas

you're gonna want to stick watch all of these different ways to make money on

Red Dead Redemption online before we get into the video if you would like to see

more tutorials or tips like this then make sure you hit the like on a video

and also subscribe to this channel I'm getting around about five or six videos

out a week showing you exactly how to make money how to rank up as well as

different stuff in Red Dead Redemption online if this video does well I will

make sure to do a part two to it because there are so many ways to make money on

Red Dead online as well as if you want to see it drop in the comments down below

I'll show you ways to rank up fast so the first way and most obvious way to

make money on Red Dead online is to complete the missions now when you go in

you will be met with a woman in which you'll start offering you money to go

and do different missions so that you can find the killers of her husband

throughout this I recommend that you stay honorable you do not want to go

around killing random innocent people stay honorable do the right thing I know

there's a few missions where you get some vote to be honourable or

dishonourable if you vote honourable every time and still it goes dishonourable

that is perfectly fine that is something out of your control but if you can help

it stay honorable because what you'll do is you'll get a set of missions that

will go towards the final mission and the final mission that you do will get

you I think will get you over a hundred dollars for completing which is very

good as soon as you've completed all those honorable missions there will be

no more missions to do unless you go dishonorable in which you're gonna want

to go around in saint-denis and this will link to a rank up method that I've

got my channel I will not go into depth talking about but if you'd like to see

that I'll leave a link in the description down below but what you want

to do is just kill a bunch of people go completely dishonorable as soon as you

become dishonorable you will unlock another set of missions where you can

start getting money there are only about eight or nine missions in total but by

completing all of them I think you'll get round about 500 to 600 dollars the

second way is to do showdown series and Races

with races you can get round about three dollars to ten dollars depending

on where you place in the race I have also got another video on this

channel which will show you how to do really well with races and how to win

more races in saint-denis I've got like a little track where you can go around

and I'll show you how to work out each and every race so you can go around and

win it every time with showdown series obviously it means that you have to be

good with races sometimes it comes 50/50 and the last hurdle what can happen is

someone just get wiped out and all you do is just carry on going through and

you can win with showdown series is a lot different you need to be good at the

game me personally I'm not that good at the game I'm pretty bad at killing

people I get kind of frustrated when I don't get to shoot the gun when I want

to shoot the gun because sometimes you press the trigger and it doesn't find it

irritates me because my opponents quicker than me but what it actually means is that

I'm just a bad player but pretty much showdown series can get you from

anywhere between $4 to $17 I recommend doing the large ones because there's

more players the more players there are the more money you have to potentially

be earning and like I said obviously you need to be a good player to get up to

lose $17 $18 somewhere around there but if you're a mediocre player like me what

you'll be doing is getting five or six dollars in which it'll probably be

better for you to start doing racing because if you have full lobby of racing

and you become first second or third normally what will happen is you'll get

around about $10 $8 somewhere around there which is just as good as doing a

showdown series and the races are normally a lot quicker so what you got to do

is figure out what type of player you are and whether or not your better doing

races or you're better doing showdown series the third way to make money on red dead

online is to use the 3 different hunting spots that I'm using right now

the first one is in black water then you've got one just above that which is

the manzanita post and then finally you've got one on the complete other

side of the map which is just outside Saint Denis yes realistically you can

hunt wherever you want but with these locations what you have is a butcher

just right round the corner the manzanita outpost you have to head

to black water but what's in the manzanita post you can get bears Cougars elks a

bunch of different stuff up in that forest just outside black water what you

have it bucks deers Bisons they did use to be a cougar in black water but that

being taken away but you can find two Cougars in the manzanita post which is

very good or you can get two different bears if you go to the manzanita post

what you're gonna want to do is go and get a second horse go and ride that horse

and then your other horse your main horse the horse that you own will follow

you closely behind if you whistle and then you can go to the manzanita post

go and collect two Cougars or two bears put one hide or carcass on one horse and

any other hide and carcass on the other horse and then all you have to do is

write the horse that you stole back to Blackwater and sell it at the butchers

and you can get twice as much money for your time and obviously the final place

is saint Denis with this you don't really need to go and get a second horse

there's a ton of birds around that location and all you have to do is shoot

the birds there are feathers in this game that can go for around about one

dollar and fifty cents each and when you kill a bird and it is perfect what you

can do is get 3 feathers out there plus two bird meat as well as the carcass

itself making you a ton of money just from one single bird this goes back to

what I was saying in the previous method if you are not good at showdown series

if you're not good at races what you can do is just go out shoot one single bird

if it's the right bird and if you shoot it correctly with the varmint rifle what

you can do is make more money from that than what you can do from just doing a

full race if you're a bad player at races the fourth way to make money in

Red Dead online is the Cougar method now what you want to do is go and spawn in

saint-denis the reason you're spawning in saint-denis is because it's the

furthest point away from where you're actually heading go down to the fast

travel and fast travel all the way to tumbleweed I believe that'll cost around

about $11 $13 because it is such a big distance but don't worry the first

thing you're gonna do is go down to tumbleweed go all the way to these

locations there's one here and there's one just above cholla Springs and what

you can do is get a cougar these Cougars can go for about 22 dollars if you get a

perfect carcass a perfect hide and the meat as well selling them all together

will get you around about $22 $23 I think somewhere between there and all

you have to do is alert it wait for it to start running towards you and pull out

your bow and arrow and shoot it in the face or you can

a bolt-action rifle as soon as you killed a cougar take it back to

tumbleweed where there is a butcher's sell out the butchers and then all you

have to do now is go back to the other location as soon as you do that take it

back to the butchers again sell it and then go back to the previous one all you

have to do is keep on doing this and it's a it's a bit of a circuit the other

way you can do this is to go and get a second horse again go to one location

kill the Cougar put on the back of one horse and then go to the other location

kill it and put it back on your horse by the time you go back to the butchers

sell everything and then go round again the Cougars will spawn back in meaning

that you can keep on doing this rinse and repeat making as much money as

possible twenty two dollars to twenty three dollars every time you sell a

cougar the reason you're gonna spawn in saint-denis and fast travel all the way

to tumbleweed and not spawn straight to tumbleweed is because if you spawn in

tumbleweed what you have is a ton of other players spawned in around you that

is just how online works the online places you in a position or put you in a

lobby where there are a ton of people in that area so that you're not there by

yourself so if you spawn in saint-denis what will happen is you'll be put into a

lobby where there is a ton of people in saint-denis but then you're gonna first

travel all the way to tumbleweed when there is no one this way there is no one

competing against you to go and get those Cougars and you can just keep on

grinding out this method peacefully with no trouble whatsoever

the final way I'm gonna show you to make money in Red Dead online it's probably

one of the easiest ways it does mean that you have to set it up and make sure that

there is no one in the area that's gonna Bob you I use Montana River for the

first time ever doing this what you want to do is go and get a deer carcass it

does not matter whether or not it's in perfect condition whether it's good or

poor as long as you have a deer do not skin the animal just bring the deer to

this location when you bring it to this location just chuck it on the floor and

wait what will happen is fish will be drawn into the deer but once they get

close to the deer because the water is so shallow in this area as soon as fish

touch the ground they seem to just die which means you can walk around and pick

them up because they haven't been shot on manhandled in any way what you'll get is

a perfect fish every time some of these fish will only be going for about

$0.50 but what you can get is a bunch of different bass which

will be going for $1.50 and there are a ton of these what you have is maybe

three or four in a row that will just swim into this and then die immediately

you can go around pick up all four of those fish and if they're all sea bass

what you're making is six dollars and it's just like that all you have to do

is just stand in that area and fish will be drawn in eventually at some point

it'll seem like fish will stop going into the deer you can either wait in

which all of a sudden a ton of fish will just come over or you can pick up the

deer drop it again and it will seem to reset everything and fish will start to

go in again this is a really good method for making you about $50 in round about

10 to 15 minutes and all you have to do is stand there there is the problem of

if someone sees you just standing about in Montana River Montana River if you don't

know is right at the centre of the map people crossed out once they travelled in

from Valentine - strawberry - black water anything from there - black water people

seem to go across this river so it does mean that if you're in this area someone

might go out their way just to go and kill you in which you're gonna want to

find another spot to find one of these spots is very easy there are a bunch of

them across the map all you need to do is find a place where it's shallow water

but it's still deep enough for fish to spawn and swim in there's a lot of these

areas in Blue water Marsh in which once you go there all you have to do is drop

a carcass down of some sort doesn't matter what the animal is I keep on

using deer just because it seems the most efficient in my head don't know why

you can put any animal any large animal down and all you have to do is just

stand there eventually fish will come in and you can see whether or not it's deep

enough for fish to spawn but still shallow enough that once they get close

to the deer or whatever animal you have is touching the floor and as soon as it

touches the floor it will die anyway that is the top five ways to make money

on Red Dead Redemption online if you'd like to see a part two to this or even a

top five ways to rank up in Red Dead online leave that in the comments down

below I'll be sure to get round to do that anyway guys I hope you guys did

Academic writing 2: Five tips to make your paper concise and clear - Duration: 8:50.

Hey, it's Dr. Liu here with Better LIFE Research TIPS.

Today I want to talk about how to write to make your paper clear and concise.

Be clear and concise are top priorities for academic writing.

In academic writing, our readers are usually professionals who are looking for useful information

for their work.

They are not reading for fun, or to kill time.

Instead, they want to save time and get their job done quickly.

Think about ourselves.

When we conduct literature review, we often need to read many papers, and we really hope

we can grasp the main ideas of these papers within minimum amount of time.

Reading a wordy and confusing paper is a headache.

So, when it is our turn to write a paper, we should learn to be kind to our reader.

By putting clarity and conciseness as top priorities, we not only give our reader

a favor, but also make our paper more valuable.

Our ideas in the paper will have more chance to get recognized and be cited.

Writing clearly and concisely is not easy, especially for students who have formed a habit

to write unnecessary long text because of their long term consciousness of having to

meet length requirements in their writing assignments, or because they want to look

more sophisticated than they actually are.

In the real world academic writing, we should get rid of this habit.

We should learn to be economical with the words we use.

Imaging you need to pay $10 for each word you use.

Would you still write your paper in the same way?

We do not want to write a lot but say little.

In addition to be concise, we also want to maximize clarity of our writing.

The goal is to allow our reader to skim our paper and grasp the main idea within

minimum amount of time.

We want to cut all the redundant words, and avoid all the ambiguous words.

There are two golden rules here.

First, If there is a possibility our writing can be misinterpreted, we should revise it.

Second, if a word or a phrase can be removed or shortened without losing meaning,

we should do it.

Generally, short sentences and short paragraphs should be preferred.

Typically, it is a good practice to keep most of our sentences to be less than 30 words,

and most of our paragraphs to be less than 300 words.

A sentence longer than 4 lines, or a paragraph occupying a full page is not reader friendly,

and should be avoided when possible.

Be concise and clear is not only about using less words, but also is about using

a clear structure to allow our reader to catch our ideas in less time.

After we have cut all the redundant words, replaced all the ambiguous words, and corrected all the

grammar mistakes, there are still something we can do to improve

the clarity and conciseness of our writing.

Here are the 5 tips.

First, for each paragraph in our paper, always start with the topic sentence.

Each paragraph should just have one main idea, and it should be clearly stated at

the 1st sentence of the paragraph.

You may think this is too formulaic, because many experienced writer can actually put their

topic sentence somewhere else and still make it very impressive.

But if we really put clarity and conciseness, instead of style, as our top priorities,

we should do this.

When we skim other people's paper, we want to identify their topic sentences

as quick as possible.

Putting the topic sentences at the beginning of our paragraphs will not only save time for our readers,

but also will help ourselves in the writing process by making our ideas clearer.

By doing this, if we put all the 1st sentences of our paragraphs together, it will read

like an abstract.

Second, when comparing and listing different items, always use parallel structure.

Parallel structures keep the compared items in the same grammatical form.

It adds balance, rhythm, and consistency to sentences, so the reader can easily follow, and

relate the compared items to each other.

For example, we may say, we want our students to initiate their own learning, be creative

problem-solvers, and think independently.

But this is not parallel.

To make it parallel, the sentence could be revised as, we want our students to be

self-motivated learners, creative problem-solvers, and independent thinkers.

Third, we should use active voice instead of passive voice unless we have a good reason

not to do so.

Generally, active voice is less wordy, more clear, and it provides more complete information.

Some writers prefer passive voice simply because they want to remove human factors in writing,

or when the actor seems not important.

But for others, these reasons may not be good enough to choose passive voice over active voice.

To me, passive voice should be used only when it improves the clarity of our writing.

For example, it can be used to keep the subject and focus consistent throughout a passage,

or to keep a parallel structure as stated in the 2nd tip.

The 4th tip is to minimize the use of adverbs.

Adverbs are words that modify verbs and adjectives.

They are usually used when the writer is afraid they are not expressing clearly by using the

verb or the adjective alone.

In academic writing, adverbs such as "very, really, basically, absolutely, extremely"

should be avoided.

We should try our best to replace these adverbs with evidence or data, or we can remove them

by using a more accurate verb or adjective.

For example, instead of "very clear", we may say "obvious"; instead of

"really large", we may say "huge"; instead of "absolutely sure", we may say "certain".

Also, we may prefer to use affirmative words instead of "not something".

For example, instead of "not positive", we may say "negative"; instead of

"not often", we may say "rarely".

The 5th tip is to avoid turning verbs into nouns.

Verbs are generally less wordy, more clear and powerful, and they can move the writing

along more quickly.

For example, instead of "conduct a investigation", we'd rather say "investigate";

instead of "provide a review", we'd rather say "review"; instead of "there is a common

assumption that", we'd rather say "many people assume".

Also, to maximize clarity, the subject and the verb should be put next to each other

whenever it is possible.

And that concludes our 5 tips to make your paper clear and concise.

Thanks for watching, I am Dr. Liu with research tips for the underdogs.

Happy new year, 2019.

Until next time, enjoy a fresh start for a better life.

How To Make a Jellicle Cat Wig - Attaching Kanekalon Time-Lapse Tutorial - Duration: 4:13.

Cut approximately 8 inches of the hair in manageable handfuls.

Blend colors together by pulling parts of the hair from your handful and placing them back together.

Keep doing this until the colors are blended enough for your taste.

Take a bit of your blended hair and cut it down the center, creating a flat end.

Apply hot glue to that end and stick it on the wig cap sideburns, (with the wig cap on it's side) straight up.

Continue on both sides.

To start on the back, I pull my wig cap up

so that there's excess material at the top.

This way the wig stays roomy enough for my long hair to fit under.

If you'd rather, you can measure your head and sew your cap accordingly. (Keep in mind, styrofoam wig heads are not likely to be the same size as your head.)

Take some of your 8 inch hair and cut it in half to form 4 inch bunches for the back of the wig.

Grab some of that hair and cut it down the center. Then apply hot glue to that end.

Place the hair angled down, flat to the cap. (NOT straight out like the sideburns.)

*Here I'm doing the blending method again, to avoid straight edges but you could also fix that when you style the wig.

Leave gaps in-between each section of hair and alternate the gaps with each row.

As you make your way up the back, be sure to mark out where you want the ears to go.

Depending on your wig style, you might want some straight up bangs at the front. If you do, stop laying the back hair about an inch and a half from the front edge.

Use the 8 inch hair (cut in the middle) for the ears. Glue these straight out like the sideburns.

Temporarily rubber band them up to keep them out of the way.

Going back to the 4 inch hair, fill in the row in front of the ears, hair pointing straight up.

Then fill in the bangs, pointing the hair straight up. (or however you want it to lay.)

Fill in any gaps, style and secure the ears if you'd like, and trim everything up!

Use some strong hold hairspray to keep everything in place and your wig is done!

How To Memorize Bass Scales: Three Tips To Make Sure You Never Forget A Scale - Duration: 8:43.

In this bass lesson, you're going to get 3 tips for memorizing any scale on your bass.

Hi, I'm Luke from Become A Bassist, and if you've ever struggled with learning scales,

stick around - you'll learn the easy way of remembering all your scales, plus you'll

learn HOW to practice them so you never forget them.

There's no getting around it - learning scales can be intimidating!

There are hundreds of them and it can seem like you'll never be able to keep them all

in your head!

Don't worry though - it's very possible to make them all stick.

You just have to follow these three tips.

Tip #1 - Climb the mountain one step at a time.

This means only learn one scale at a time.

This is a classic mistake that bass players make.

They see that there are tons of scales they could potentially learn, so they try to learn

all of them at once!

They want to learn the major scales, plus the modes of the major scale, the different

shapes of the pentatonics, the harmonic and melodic minors, blues scales.

The list goes on.

And they try to do it all at once, so what happens?

Nothing really sticks.

Put it this way: If you asked your computer to do 12,000 things at maximum output, what's

going to happen?

Either your computer will crash, or if it doesn't, it'll take ages to get anything

done.

It's the same thing when you try to cram tons of scales in your head.

You end up learning very little or you give up.

When you focus on just one scale at a time though, things are very different.

You can devote 100% of your focus to mastering just one scale or mode.

You'll learn it much faster and you'll also learn it at a deeper level.

Learning how to play 1 scale 100 different ways is infinitely MORE useful than learning

how to play 100 scales in only 1 way.

Do you think you could learn just one scale?

Of course you can!

And when you've mastered that one, you can move on to the next, and the next until you've

mastered all the scales you need.

This leads nicely to tip #2, which is to aim for a deep, thorough understanding of every

scale that you learn.

How do you do this?

By thinking of every scale in multiple different ways.

For example, if we take the major scale, we can think of it in terms of the shape of the

scale on your bass.

We can use the classic one - Fingers 2 and 4 on the E-string, fingers 1, 2 and 4 on the

A-string and then 1, 3 and 4 on the D-string.

That'll also work starting on the A-string.

You can do the 3 notes per string shape.

That'll look like this.

1, 2 and 4, then again 1, 2 and 4, and finally 1 and 2.

You can also extend the shape up again with 1, 2 and 4.

That's just 2 ways of thinking about the shape of the scale.

You can think of the intervals and how they relate to the root.

Root - Major 2nd - Major 3rd- Perfect 4th - Perfect 5th - Major 6th - Major 7th - Root.

You can also think in terms of the sequence of whole steps and half steps that most scales

are made up of.

With a major scale, you'd start on your first note, then go up whole step, whole step,

half step, whole step, whole step, whole step, half step.

This means you can figure out your own shapes and everything for the scales and modes you're

learning.

You can think in terms of numbers.

Obviously with the major scale, we'd just have 1-2-3-4-5-6-7 and 8.

But for something like a Dorian scale, we'd have 1, 2, flat 3, 4, 5, 6, flat 7 and 1.

That's relating everything back to the major scale.

Do you see how deep you can go with all this?

Most beginners only think of their scales in one dimension, but once you start to look

at it from other angles like this, you start to get a deeper understanding of each scale

and how everything fits around it.

The more ways you can conceive of every scale you learn, the stronger it will be in your

mind, and if the music is strong in your mind, it'll come out strong when you play it on

your bass.

Finally, for tip #3, learn the sound of each scale and sing it as you learn it.

Just doing this will make it stick in your mind like nothing else!

At the start, it might be a bit tricky – some of the scales and modes are very similar.

Sometimes there's only one note difference between one scale and the next.

And some of the scales are quite tricky to sing – they've got some awkward intervals

in them.

But if you learn the sound of the scale as you're learning the mechanics of the scale,

the two will be inseparable in your mind and you'll never forget either!

Wherever you can – try to activate your ears wherever possible.

If you're learning your major scale, sing the notes of the scale as you play them.

You don't have to have a beautiful voice - you're just linking the sound of the scale

with the notes, shapes, and intervals on your bass.

You might start off by just going up and down the scale [plays scale and sings] You might

want to try doing little exercises and games with the scale - like going up in diatonic

thirds [plays scale and sings in diatonic 3rds] You might go up 4 notes starting on

the tonic, then go back to the 2nd note of the scale and go up 4 notes [plays and sings

exercise].

Once the mechanics of the scale and the sound of the scale has settled in your mind, you

might want to try playing around with the sound over a drone or something.

I've got one right here I'm going to use - and I'm just going to try and play around

with the sound the way a child would play with a toy.

It's really low-pressure and very playful.

[plays with drone] Something like that.

The next question a lot of people have is where should they start in learning scales?

There are just so many, so which ones are going to give you the best bang for your buck?

I'd recommend you start by learning the plain old major scale.

It's the foundation for so much Western music, so it really pays to know it inside

and out, in as many different ways possible.

From there, you can learn the modes of the major scale one at a time - and if you know

these, there are very few situations where you'll be left wondering exactly what to

play.

They're immeasurably useful.

If you'd like to get started on the road to mastering the major scale, plus it's

modes, then check out my Ultimate Guide To The Modes For Bass.

It's a simple, jargon-free guide that will show you exactly how the major scale and the

modes work and it's totally free as well.

guide, two videos, plus 24 different practice tracks so you can get started practicing in

less than 60 seconds.

To recap though, you learned 3 tips for learning and memorizing your scales on bass.

You learned that it's best to learn scales one at a time, tip 2 was to learn every scale

in multiple different ways so you know they'll stick, and finally, you learned to sing the

sound of the scales you were learning so you can link the sound and the mechanics of the

scale in your mind.

You got a couple of different ways of doing that as well.

Thanks so much for watching - I really appreciate the company.
