hey everybody today I was like not having the best day ever
I was like how am I make today better and I was like I know I've been waiting
to film this haul for a little while and I was like you know I'm just gonna jump
in and film the haul because nothing makes me happier than opening a box of
clothing so I opened the items already cuz I have no self-control also because I was like
super excited about them this haul is from Torrid it is in partnership with them
which is crazy because in fact one of my first things I ever did as an influencer
was to model for them as one of their denim ads if you guys have seen the mall
opening store thing I am on the back of the ladder like full circle life is
coming full circle in this moment so I'm kind of really excited to like be
working with them as an influencer now when back in the day I was just like a
little girl with a dream boom anyway let me jump right in
I'm excited because this entire haul is black and red I picked this because I
love red it's a great color for me and you guys have also asked me to do more
black because I know not everybody wears as much color as I do I get it so I
figured I would do a mix up a little bit of color and black for you guys and
then what I thought I could do is show you guys a whole bunch of different ways
you could put those items together to make cool and fun outfits see I'm
thinking about it so let's just jump right into what I got the first item I
got are these amazing pants now these I have always worn they're like the
I think they're called the uh what are they called I don't remember the name of what
they're called but they're the spandex but they're like the thicker leggings I like
them cuz look at this waistband they're just like gonna pull you in with my hip
to butt ratio or not even hip to butt waist to
butt ratio this waistband is like my dream because it stays up also
let's talk about the color here this is the quintessential in fabric of the
season plaid this is a fun plaid that is not too Christmasy some plaids you will
see are very very Christmasy and after the season they're done this is a plaid
you can definitely wear outside of the natal the Christmas
well I guess if you're wearing these for Hanukkah I just guess I got all the
Hanukkah colors wrong but I guess you can wear whatever you want for Hanukkah go
you do your own thing I think my TV is on giving me this weird glow on my face
maybe it's making me look more beautiful I don't know let me fix it so these are
ridiculously comfortable like I'm wearing leggings but they look like
pants so win I want you to know that my apartment is in such a bad state of
affairs right now after coming home from New Mexico that I could not find the
remote so I just put a blanket over the TV and you know what I am okay with that
Data was a little mad though because he was cuddled on that blanket yes I've
destroyed my dog's life yet again anyway let's keep going now that you know what
a hot mess I am let's just keep going in the haul how am I allowed to live on my
own how am I like not dead yet cuz seriously I can't do anything without
making a mess moving on hopefully with no further interaction
interruptions this is my favorite thing in the entire haul I'm mildly obsessed
with it you ready for it wait for it it's a unicorn sweater and what I like
is it's a really classy unicorn sweater but the horn is still in gold yes so I
feel like you could wear this with a blazer you can wear it with a nice skirt
a pair of dress pants and still feel fantastico which is what you want you
want a classy unicorn sweater in your life it's amazing I'm obsessed with it
it's also lightweight so it's super good for layering it's not gonna be like too
heavy on you which also makes it many seasons appropriate as if a unicorn
sweater is never right it is every season attire in my book so I'm really
excited about this it's my favorite thing in the entire collection I mean other
things are great but this is this is spectacular
don't be jealous of a classy unicorn literally classy unicorn
what this is next you know you gotta have a way to like celebrate and when
you celebrate you need that red cheery dress I love this dress full lace
detail yet you're gonna be covered here in the chest region so no boobalahs on
display but like a little peek of boobalah cuz you got some lace over em you got like
you know you got some cleave but not too much that it's like inappropriate for
the holiday or like seeing your family nice little lace sleeves so if you're
uncomfortable with a full bare arm you're gonna have a little bit of coverage
there and then it comes down with an empire waist which is like the best
flares out and has a nice like flowy skirt to it I think this is adorable the
color obviously is poppin and it's super super cute so I'm excited about this one
I already know what I'm gonna wear it to I might have bought it with a purpose there's something
about putting a red dress on in the holiday season that just makes you feel
festive like instantly and this dress it's doing it for me everybody needs a
kick-ass leisure suit and when I saw this leisure suit I was like yes so this
is in this like amazing I don't even know what you call this get that tag out
of here I don't even know what you call this I guess it's I guess they're roses
yeah I guess those are roses my niece calls everything roses I think I'm just
gonna follow suit and be like every flower is now a rose it's just easier
that way I'm kidding I know that there's different flowers but this does it looks
like a mix of flowers some roses and then some lighter flowers who knows what
those flowers are but it's a floral motif in red over black first we got
some jogger pants but they're like classy jogger pants so not like made of
sweatshirt material they're made of the same thing as the leggings but cut definitely
like more loose and with pockets in here it has a really thick elastic top which
makes me think that that's not gonna be a huge issue but we'll see when we try
it on I just love this print these are so incredibly comfortable it's like not
even funny I could wear these all day every day
so sick I love it so much that I also got the matching jacket to
it so how cute is this jacket ah this set is gonna look rich has F everywhere
it has a nice little sweatshirt banding again it's like a tracksuit
it's definitely tracksuit material that's what it is it's not sweat suit
it's a track suit so it's gonna be a little bit warmer it's definitely gonna
block the wind but it is not gonna block the attention cuz you gonna look fierce sorry I love this
so much in fact I'm like hmm hmm I'm thinking of
doing something festive this evening and maybe I have to wear this on my festive
experience that's the fire alarm cuz it's getting too hot in here I make that
joke every time they come still funny to me I'm sorry if it's not funny to you but it will
always be funny to me it's how I cope with the fire alarms of New York
City I can't wait to put it on moving on I love this sweatshirt or hoodie or
tracksuit top whatever it is I love it it's so comfy and it just looks cool and
I feel like I could make it look dressy or I could make it look casual like
depending on whatever want to wear this dress I saw and I lost my ish
I lost my ish because it's sparkly it's tailored and I feel like you could dress
this a million different ways you could dress it up you could dress it down with
a little bit of creativity it is do you see this like caged Sparkle dress and
what I like is it's not super short so it's gonna fit of the girls and I'm
cascade down and you could just be like BAM at the party
BAM at the party BAM at the party sorry I love a dresses like this and what's
super cute about this is because it is a muted fabric and even though it's
sparkly you could throw a blazer over it totally appropriate for work definitely
during the holiday season you could throw a sweater over it and use this as
a skirt super cute you can even put a turtleneck underneath this
and make it kind of like an indie girl i'ma wear my dress whenever I want look
which I am so here for I hope to do one of those looks in this lookbook season
that I am planning because I just feel like that is like I love that
rebellious spirit of like I'm just gonna wear a turtleneck under it and suddenly
it's now casual oh that idea is genius also mesh bodysuit another way you can
play that game because this is gonna cover everything and then you can add a
mesh bodysuit underneath it and then again appropriate for every activity
appropriate for going to the bodega appropriate for brunch appropriate for
date appropriate or everything oh love this dress
love it it's so much so I'm like obsessed with this dress I don't know
why but this like like bustier detailing here it just looks so good in my body
and this waist line like girl I just feel really really hot sexy mama all up
in this Jam this is the last clothing item from the
haul but I do have a pair of shoes actually two pairs of shoes one I
actually bought before I even knew I was gonna work with Torrid so I was like I'm just
gonna lob it onto this haul it is a black sweater but super cool is it's one
of those neck sweaters but it actually zips down on the back so you don't have
to like try to get over your hair you can put it on and then like zip it up
normally I feel like this is genius because every time I have seen one of
these sweaters it's been like just pull it on over your head so by the time you
get it on it's like all baggy around your neck or you completely destroy all
of the hard work you put into your hair and it's super annoying oh my gosh pet
peeve but no anger here because there's a zipper and you can just zip yourself
in it's got a nice little open shoulder this is really great if you're not
familiar open shoulders are really great if you have a smaller set of shoulders
in comparison with your hips so if you're trying to visually give the
appearance that your shoulders are more broad open shoulders are great for doing
that because it automatically draws your eye up to the contrast between your skin
tone and the sweater so basically all it's doing is being like look at those
shoulders those shoulders are huge so for me my shoulders and top are not
proportionate to my hips so this is a visual trick I can do to create that
idea of being proportionate which is I mean we don't have to be proportionate
some days I'm not trying to be and some days I'm trying not to be it's just the
style and aesthetic I'm going for it but this is one of the ways you can do that
so I love this sweater because I love the neckline I just think it's so chic
and I feel fancy but I'm also like really comfortable now on to the shoes
the shoes the shoes the shoes and they are very different there are two very
different pairs of shoes so the first pair like literally don't match anything
in this haul at all because they're for a look that I'm shooting for my
over-the-top Christmas lookbook but these are a pair of mid heel zip-up
booties they're actually in the style of 1900s riding boots so a lot of people
think that riding boots always like went up to your knee but actually they used
to do short leg boots for women like under skirts and whatnot and this is
what they used to look like so if you're looking for 1900 style shoes this is
what they might look like and so that is actually why I pulled them because it's
an old-school woodland Christmas you'll see you'll see when the photos come out
but they're in a dark brown and I have an epic outfit that goes with them
they're fairly comfortable I got them so I could stand in and shoot in them for
quite a long time and be okay and I'm really comfortable in them so like I
really really love them I suppose I could throw them with a couple things
here because they look black but I want to be honest with you they are dark
brown and they probably wouldn't look great with a lot of these items except
maybe the red dress everything else will probably it's just in the daylight would
look not great for some reason my light from outside is tricking this into
looking like they're black but they're definitely not the second pair of shoes
it's something I don't own and I just really need which is an amazing pair of
black pumps again not too high a heel it is a little bit higher than some people
will be comfortable with you're either gonna be someone who can wear heels or
can't me I can wear them for a certain amount of time but I also play the same
game that every other girl on the universe plays skinny fat short tall
whatever which is you pair put a pair of flats in your bag you walk into the club
in your heels and you take the heels off put your flats on and
then when you're ready to go you take your flats off you put your heels on and
you walk out because those the only times people are gonna look at your legs
not that I actually do that but I used to do that when I was like clubbin that's I
used to do that true they only gotta look good going in and going out all
other times people it's too dark for people to see your shoes anyway
I definitely use these a lot because they're just a great standard black heel
and they have a really thick heel which is what I look for because that supports
weight it's also gonna make it more comfortable so when you look at like a
stiletto and things like that that just equals pain for me cuz it's basically
like walking around on a giant nail why would you want just to nail this is
gonna give you almost the full support again you're gonna have not a lot of
support on your bridge which is just standard but if you're looking for a
heel that is more comfortable when you are just starting to wear heels look for
a block heel for the love of all that's holy buy a block heel and also heels
aren't comfortable like the first time you wear them so if you've never worn
them slowly go up in size like don't necessarily start with this size start
with like a half an inch or an inch and then slowly get more comfortable size so
your body can adjust to like having weight on different parts of it because
your foot isn't used to it anyway I'm just teaching you how to wear heels who
who cares who wants to watch that in this video I'm blabbering again anyway I
really like these and I needed them in my wardrobe so I got them so that is
everything in the haul now I'm going to show you how you can style it so I'm
just gonna put all of these into little different outfits I don't even know how
many outfits I'm gonna get because I just came up with this idea when I
started shooting I was like that will be kind of fun and sometimes I do that and
sometimes I don't today I felt like doing it so stop judging me okay here we
go
so yeah I came up with a ton of looks with those items as you can see I'll be honest I'm filming this before I film
