Youtube daily how to I Dec 28 2018

Today, we're going to open the case of an HP Pavilion model 690-0024. This Ryzen 5-based

gaming desktop is compact in size, but we'll see if it has some room for

upgradeability. I'll dismantle the case and the inner cage to assess how much

you can upgrade in terms of processor, graphics card, memory, and storage. On

paper, the HP contains an AMD Ryzen 5 2400G running at 3.6 GHz, with 8 GB

of DDR4 memory running at 2666 MHz. It includes an AMD Radeon

RX 580 graphics card and three drives: a 128 GB SSD, a 1TB hard

drive, and a DVD/CD burner. The case itself is black brushed metal with green

LED highlights, and it's really compact. It measures approximately 13.5"

by 6.75" wide by 10.75" deep, which means there's not a

lot of room in there. So I'm curious how upgradeable this system really is. Let's

open the case and find out. The tools you need are a flathead or Torx screwdriver,

an old credit card or gift card, and finally an ESD strap or ESD mat if you

plan to touch any of the electronics inside. The first thing you'll need to do

is remove the single screw that secures the cover. You can use either a flathead

or Phillips head screwdriver, so I'll just use my flathead bit. The screw

itself isn't meant to be detached from the cover so you can leave it in place

after loosening it. Let's then remove the side panel and set it aside...

and take a look inside the case. At first glance, it looks very clean; the cables are well

organized. At this point, to avoid any electrostatic damage, I'll put on my ESD

wrist strap before touching any internal components.

To get to the memory, M.2 slot and the storage devices,

we'll need to remove the cage, which is held in place

by these four screws. They're a Torx- flathead hybrid so you can use either

screwdriver bit. I'll just switch over to my Torx bit to unscrew them.

When I try to slide the cage, there's some resistance, and that's because the

front bezel of the CD/DVD drive is preventing its removal. All you need to

do is take a plastic card, and wedge it in the spacing between the bezel and the

front cover. When you pry it, it'll pop right off. Here, you can see the tabs that

held it in place. The cage then simply slides off like this. Make sure not to

yank it off because there are plenty of cables attached. Peering inside the

case, there's the processor, which is an AMD Ryzen 5 2400G. It's an AM4 socket,

so you could upgrade to a Ryzen 7 2700 according to HP's website. HP has decided

to pair this APU - which has integrated Radeon RX Vega 11 graphics - with a

discreet graphics card: the AMD Radeon RX 580 with 4 GB of memory. Note that

if the graphics card ever breaks down, you won't be able to use the integrated

graphics anyways as the motherboard doesn't support it. It's a very short

card, so you'd need to find one with similar dimensions if you wanted to

upgrade it. There's a little more space toward the front of the case - but not

much. Keep in mind that the power supply is only 400 watts, so you'll need to

consider the power requirements of any graphics upgrade. There are two DIMM slots

for DDR4 memory, and one is already taken. That one is an 8 GB module. You can

add another one in the extra slot, or if you want to go large, it'll accept two

sticks of 16, for a total of 32 GB. Next to the memory is the M.2 SSD in its

slot. It's an NVMe SSD that's 128 GB, so it's not very large. You can

always upgrade the SSD to a larger capacity. Panning over to the expansion

slots, there's one single open PCIe slot, so you could possibly add an audio card.

The HP comes with a mechanical 1 TB hard drive as its secondary

drive, as well as a CD/DVD drive, both of which reside inside the cage. I'll go

ahead and remove the SATA power -

and the SATA data cable that's attached to the hard disk.

The disk itself is fastened to the cage by these four

screws, which again are the Torx-flathead hybrid - the same size as the cage screws I removed previously.

The disk will slip right out; it's a Western Digital Blue

running at 7200 RPM. You can swap this out with a larger hard drive or an SSD,

but keep in mind that HP stores its recovery partition there, so you'll want

to either make an image of that partition, or create a set of recovery

discs so you can get rid of that partition altogether. There's one more

SATA port on the motherboard, so you can add another hard drive or 2.5"

SSD if you want to expand your storage options. You can mount the

additional drive on the cage where a spare SATA power cable is conveniently within reach.

If it's a 2.5" disk, you may need an adapter to

mount it. Now all we need to do is reverse the steps to reassemble

everything back together. This is a very capable gaming machine that could see

some immediate benefits with some minor upgrades. Even in this compact space,

there are options to upgrade the computer, including its processor and

graphics card, but more easily, its memory and storage.

I hope you enjoyed - thanks for watching!

How to say Zhiyun... What does it mean? - Duration: 2:28.

If you clicked on this video, you probably know what this is.

It's a gimbal... it's a crane...

It's a bird! It's a plane! It's Superman!

Yes, it's Superman!

It's a crane with a name that nobody knows how to say.

I've seen countless videos of people reviewing this product and the thing I hear over

and over again is people mispronouncing the company name. Most often I hear them say...

The closest I've ever heard anybody say it right, almost right, is when they said...

Jee-yoon is pretty close...

But a more proper way to say it would be

zhiyun

Two syllables, not one, two different tones. But since most of you out there probably

don't speak a tonal language like Chinese, you could probably drop the

tones and still do the name justice by just saying ji-yoon. now here's my own

Now here's my own pronunciation spelling of it.

You say the j-i, the ji...

like you would the beginning of ginger. Then you say the yoon like you would the Korean surname.

So for those of you wondering what Zhiyun means, and yes, in Chinese, names do have meanings...

- And what is your name? - Butch

- What does it mean?

- I'm American, honey, our names don't mean shit.

"Zhi" which looks like this, means wisdom.

"Yun" which looks like this, means cloud.

So going by the dictionary definition of each word, a literal translation might be

Wisdom Cloud

Personally I think this sounds kind of silly because in the

modern age zhi has a slightly different nuance

it means smart as in "smart technology". For example...

The way to say smartphone in Chinese is...

The way to say smart TV is...

So you could call your device a "smart cloud crane."

How to track objects manually in a 360 video | Works with any 360 footage - Duration: 6:01.

Tracking objects in a 360 video is a really cool feature even in 360 or in overcapture mode.

Now I show you how to do it manually with any 360 footage.

Orientation is always an important task in 360, especially working with moving shots.

First you need to choose a starting point, but then you have to decide how to continue.

In most of the cases, after applying software stabilization,

the video follows the starting direction which is really great.

Let's see, when you are walking with a handheld camera, your place on the video might be changing a bit,

but the whole environment, the buildings and bigger objects are always on the same place.

And it helps the viewers to look around easily and they don't lose control over the video.

But in special cases we don't want to keep these main directions,

and the video is more watchable if we track certain points.

The most common situations are shooting during skateboarding, skiing, riding a bike

or taking long driving scenes.

The point is that there are some turns on the go.

And the main problem is that these scenes have dedicated directions,

while actually we are changing directions with the camera.

In these cases it would be much better if the camera could track the route.

For instance here you can see my bob shot.

In this case the camera keeps pointing to a specific direction

instead of following where we are actually going.

When we're taking this 180 degrees turn, you can see the camera is still pointing in the same direction.

I think in this case the rails and the sled should be always on the same position

to create the authentic third person impression.

Then it's a matter of choice whether we keep the footage in 360 view or create an overcapture video.

With Insta360 One X app we can select certain objects to track,

but in Premiere we don't have such a smart function.

But on the other hand we can work with any 360 footage, doesn't matter which camera we use.

And tracking manually is really easy.

First I apply a plugin called VR Projection.

Here I can correct the horizon line of the footage.

If you are interested about this topic, check out my previous video in the right top corner.

With an average 360 video I would finally set up the main direction with the "pan" function.

As you can see, I can move it between 180 and minus 180 degrees.

And this is where it's getting tricky.

The basic idea of tracking certain points of the video is adding keyframes with different panning settings.

I turn on Safe margins on the preview window and switch to 360 view

so I can check out perfectly what is in the middle.

I add a keyframe and set up the middle point,

then I go on to another frame and set up another one.

It seems fine, but depending on your footage you might come to a point where you get stuck.

As you can see, now it's at 180 degrees and I can't go further.

I only can move between 180 and minus 180.

The perfect position would be something like this,

but to get here I have to pan in the other direction, around -132 degrees.

The problem is that after 180 the image won't slide to this position the way like it did before.

It will create a fast turn on the other direction.

And obviously I don't want it this way.

I think the basic idea is fine: I add keyframes and smoothly pan around in the video

to create very nice tracking in such cases.

But we have to use another plugin, too.

So I delete the keyframes here and reset "pan" settings,

I search for a plugin called "Offset" and I apply it.

Now I pan around without any limitations.

So keeping the VR plugin untouched I only use the Offset plugin

to shift the center of the image horizontally left or right.

I just keep watching the middle point and I smoothly pan the image to the right place.

I just keep watching the middle point and I smoothly pan the image to the right place.

I prefer adding less keypoints, so this panning I create won't be noticeable.

Even more it will be really smooth.

And getting to point where I stuck, now I can get over it.

Here you can see this turn before tracking.

And this is how it looks without using Offset plugin.

And here is the final result setting up directions with the Offset plugin.

But be careful. If you create many keyframes very frequently

you might create weird "camera moves", which could disturb the viewers.

And another important thing is to track the straight parts, too.

I create keyframes at the end and the beginning of the linear sections;

otherwise the video would be panning around all the time until the next keyframe at the first upcoming turn.

But this way, it will be fine.

Of course later I can create an overcapture view, if I want.

And then I can turn around in the 360 space, but I'll be sure, that the objects I tracked manually

are always on the same part of the frame.

Another option is to track moving objects in the video.

I think in a 360 video this can be a little bit disturbing, but it depends on…

Anyway, we can select a moving character in the video too, and track it all over its path.

And creating an overcapture video it looks really cool.

If you like these small tricks, please push the like button,

and if you are interested about further 360 photo and video techniques or 360 travel videos,

See you soon guys!

How to be Happy EVERY SINGLE DAY | a mary life 004 - Duration: 11:58.

Today we are talking about how to be happy.

I don't think, I've never experienced being taught this anyways, maybe my parents did

a sucky job, but I've never been taught how to be happy.

I had to learn in the past couple of years how to be happy.

I want to go ahead and share what I've learned and hopefully I can help someone out there

that is in need of help like I was.

First thing on my list is to get professional help.

There's a stigma out there that it's like a bad thing to talk to a therapist or counselor

or something of the like.

I do think it's gotten better over the years especially recently I feel like more people

are talking about mental health issues but the stigma still there.

Personally, it's the best thing I've ever done, it's the best thing I ever decided,

I feel like it was the most responsible thing for me to do at the time.

And I was able to talk to someone that wasn't in my personal life, she provided me amazing

tools and knowledge to then help me help myself in the later future.

I know a lot of the things I was unhappy about were things that I couldn't change whether

they were things or people they were not changing as much as I may have wanted to, as much as

I stomped my feet for them to do so, they weren't changing.

That's where I had to look within and figure out what I needed to change to make myself

happy and that's where therapy came in handy because I was able to not only learn skills

and tools for me to use in my day-to-day life, but I was also able to really change my perspective

on a lot of things.

Number two is self-awareness.

I feel like I talk about this so often whether it's my on my blog or videos here or any future

videos, I'm sure this won't be the last time you hear me talk about this because I think

it's so important.

Self-awareness is really just understanding your emotions and feelings and understanding

how those emotions and feelings and impact your behavior.

Understanding that connection is huge because you will save yourself a lot of heartache

or a lot of trouble in interacting with other people or handling information, you will be

better able to handle difficult situations once you are self-aware.

And really you also begin to start reading other people better you'll begin to start

making connections of other people's emotions and how it impacts their behavior and then

you'll be able to act accordingly to make the most peaceful outcome for example.

So, I'll link some self-awareness books down below that I really like.

Tip number three is to stop cherishing opinions and start surrounding yourself with positive

people.

A lot of the times we're unhappy is because we are thinking of how other people are perceiving

us, we need to stop cherishing so much other people's opinions like it's ... I know it's

difficult to do but at least be conscious of it.

I really do think about your vibe attracts your tribe, you are more likely to have positive

spirits and being a happier state of mind if the people you surround yourself with are

just like that or similar to you in that way so there's some people in your life that you

need to cut out for your own good then please do so and if you don't have positive people

around consume positive content like this or read books in general just search for positivity,

look for the positive in things or pick up some habits that you haven't done before.

Number four, one of the first lessons that I learned through therapy that kind of slap

me in the face because I didn't realize how much I was doing this and that's taking things

personally.

I would take things personally so much and it would make me so unhappy.

Through my therapist, Sally High you're amazing if anyone's living in the Orlando area I will

link her stuff down below she's just amazing like she opened up my world to so many things,

so grateful for her if you're watching this hey Sally.

There's no such thing as one reality.

You know people want to say "the real world" or "in reality blah blah blah blah blah,"

there's no one reality everyone's perspective is different.

Everyone has their own reality.

Once you really take that in as a fact you start to think of situations where you did

take things personally and you begin to question yourself like why the heck did I take that

personally.

Say for example, classic you're ugly, someone says that I'm ugly what does that really matter

that's their perspective, that's their view on the world they may very well think I am

ugly they have their likings whatever it is whether they were just trash talking just

to make me feel horrible about myself or they really genuinely think I am ugly that is okay

I am not for everyone, it seems so silly to get offended by someone else's reality.

It's not my reality so why does it matter to me what your viewpoint about myself is,

does that make sense?

And it's kind of bizarre where we care so much else's viewpoint when it's just their

viewpoint, it's not fact.

And really it just speaks to them and their character and their viewpoint you know if

someone just really blurts out I'm ugly what does that say about them as a person doesn't

really say much about me, if anything.

Or say your parents are really giving you a tough time whether it's with school or your

life choices your decisions whatever it maybe you just feel some sort of pressure from family,

parents whoever, try not to take it personal.

Instead, try to think of why they may perhaps have that perspective or fear because that's

what it really comes down to if you're feeling pressure from family members, people close

to you they say something where you get offended more than likely for them is stems from fear.

More often than not, I don't know if I can say 100% guarantee, but pretty darn close

to 100% what someone else says about you it's actually not about you at all, don't even

you know stress yourself out about it, laugh it off do whatever it is you need to do, brush

it off.

And you'll get the hang of it with time, at first you have to be really conscious of it

and try your best not to get offended when people say certain things about you, with

time its going to come natural like nothing is going to affect you at all.

My fifth tip on how to be happy is gratitude.

I mentioned this in my how to get over a breakup video which I will link down below or have

an i-card somewhere here and it's sucky to think about but, in order to be happy one

of the things that I've done is really put in my head that people have it worse.

Whatever funk I'm in, whatever it is I'm going through I just think to myself Mary there's

worse things out there gain some perspective.

It's tough to think about and there are times where I get overwhelmed by all the horrible

situations that are going on in the world but if you really want peace you have to come

to peace with that fact.

Number six is to be selfish.

Selfish has such a negative connotation to it and I feel like that needs to change.

It's okay to be selfish, you should worry about you first.

I am guilty of being a people-pleaser, always have been.

I'm working on it but we just got to stop, we have to start really taking care of ourselves

and figuring out what that is and hey if helping other people out and doing things for other

people make you genuinely happy, make you truly happy then do that do that forever now

if you feel like you are helping or doing certain things in your life just to please

people and it's not actually making you happy instead its actually affecting you negatively

then you need to stop you need to take a step back and focus on repairing yourself and finding

out more about yourself.

Tip number seven is meditation.

Meditation has literally saved my life so many times.

It puts me at this ease, it puts me literally in peace.

It allowed me to calm myself down which I was never able to do before.

I thought it was normal for thoughts to keep running in your brain, I felt like my brain

was always talking talking talking and I thought it was normal I thought your brain can never

stop, it just keeps going.

And I was able to really stop that mind chatter.

If I'm ever feeling stressed or anxious about something I can get to a place of peace on

my own and I was never able to do that before, I didn't know how to do that before.

I will link my meditation for beginners post that I wrote a while ago down below if you

go interested.

There's a lot of misconceptions about meditation if it's difficult, you do this, you don't

do this, I think it's worth a try at the very least it may not be what you think it is.

Number eight is be accountable, don't be a victim.

In order to really be happy, I realized I just need to think everything is my fault

and it's not to put yourself down or two give yourself a pity party but it's really to take

accountability.

It seems strange but I promise, once you start to take responsibility for things in your

life and it may not make you happy at first initially but truly taking accountability

makes you realize that you are in fact and in control of your life, no one else is, you

are not a victim and you can change things about your life if you really want to.

I understand everyone come somewhere different background and has different stories or may

have certain limitations in their lives, I understand that but put it in your brain that

you are not a victim and you are in control of your life and see what happens see the

changes that you can do once you truly believe that you are in fact in control of your life.

My ninth tip on how to be happy is to let of attachments.

A lot of unhappiness also stems from ideas of things that we want or desire that we don't

end up getting whether that's materialistic things or people let's say, just ideas of

things that we are so attached to and want so badly for ourselves and when we don't get

it, we are so disappointed and that causes our unhappiness.

We have to really uncondition ourselves from all of these attachments that we have been

conditioned to want or desire.

The first step is really a recognizing that you have been conditioned to think this way,

once you recognize that you will be able to uncondition yourself so to say.

A really good book for this I love is the Tao, I will link that down below as well it's

a really quick read but it gives you an idea of what I'm talking about.

Letting go of attachments can be a pretty deep topic so if you want me to do another

video on something like this please let me know in the comments below.

Tip number 10.

Now this last one is something I've definitely mentioned before and I will not stop mentioning

so if you're tired of it I'm sorry but I'm not really sorry and that is practicing unconditional

love.

Not only will you be happy from doing so but it will affect other people as well.

And that's all I have those are my ten tips on how to be happy.

If you like this video please give it a thumbs up it really supports my channel and click

HOW TO SETUP FACE ID on iPhone Xs Max, iPhone Xs, iPhone Xr and iPhone X! - Duration: 3:24.

What's up everyone, my name is Ben and today I'll be showing you guys and guiding you through

on how to set up face ID on your brand new iPhone X, iPhone XS, iPhone Xs Max or the

iPhone XR.

Setting up face ID is incredibly easy, but there are a few tricks and tips that you can

use to make your face ID work better, smoother, faster and everything along those lines and

today I'll be showing you guys how to do exactly that.

So what you want to do is go into settings, passcode and face ID, click on it if you already

have a passcode setup just enter your passcode and you'll be good to go, then click on setup

face ID and you will be presented with a little window to enter your face or for the face

ID.

What you want to do is get into some very good light what I'd recommend you to do is

get in front of a window and just make sure that the window is behind the phone and in

front of you, so that you're well lit, then just place your phone in front of you and

start basically rotating your face your head in a circle so that your phone can scan your

entire face in every single angle, after you successfully enter your face for the face

ID, you'll be asked to do the same once again, so basically repeat the process, get in front

of some good light, just stay in the same spot and just do the exact same thing, rotate

your entire face or head in a circle, so that your phone can successfully enter your face

for the face ID.

If there is someone else that you want to unlock your phone maybe I don't know your

brother, your wife, whoever you trust with your phone and the contents of your phone,

you can also set up an alternative appearance and what that means is if you want to do that

you can go into settings, face ID and passcode and just click on setup alternative appearance

and basically you will go through the entire same process, so make sure that you get into

some good light and just you will be asked to enter your face twice for the face ID and

what that will allow you to do is basically if there's another person that you trust with

your phone they will also be able to unlock your phone with just their face and that's

basically what this is designed to do, it's incredibly useful plus they don't have to

know your passcode, but they will still be able to unlock your phone with the face ID.

So this was a quick guide on how to set up face ID on the iPhone X, Xs, Xs Max and all

the future iPhones that have Face ID.

I really hope this video helped you out.

if it did, definitely consider dropping the video a like, comment down below, if you have

any future video requests that you want me to make and of course don't forget to subscribe

How to Connect to Sudomemo in 2018! - Duration: 2:31.

Hey guys! Rob here and today I'll be showing you how to connect to Sudomemo

which is a Flipnote Hatena alternative.

So, to get started, you'll need to head to "System Settings"

Now, what you want to do is touch the right arrow twice and head over to "Internet"

Go to "Options"

"Delete Nintendo WFC Configuration" and hit "Yes" twice.

This should only took a few seconds and this will clear your Wi-Fi connection

just so you know there's no conflicts.

Once it's done, go "Back".

Go to "Connection Settings" > "Advanced Setup" > "Connection 4".

Now "Search for an Access Point".

Now, you want to touch your access point. Mine is called "RobNet", and then enter its password.

For demonstration purposes, my password is "Sudomemo123", obviously yours will be different.

Once that's done, touch "OK" twice

and touch "OK" again.

It will ask if you want to do a connection test, just press "OK".

Once it's done, you should see "Connection test successful."

Now you want to head on over to "Connection Settings" once more

go to "Advanced Setup" and "Connection 4" which should now say "Setup Complete".

Then, "Change Settings", touch the right arrow three times, then change "Auto-Obtain DNS" to "No"

and touch "Detailed Setup".

Now, for the Primary DNS, you want to change this to what's shown on Sudomemo's website

which I've linked below as this DNS can change. But, for the time being, it is "104. 248.000.110".

For the Secondary DNS, enter "008.008.008.008", then touch "OK".

Touch "OK" again, press the right arrow once

turn on "Proxy Settings", and then touch "Detailed Setup".

For the Proxy Server, you want to enter "ds.sudomemo.net"

Touch "OK" and for the Port type in "80".

Touch "OK" and then touch "Save". It'll also want to do a connection test again, just press "Yes".

Touch "Back", then touch "DSi Menu", and "Yes".

You'll now be brought back to the DSi menu. Once you're there, head on over to Flipnote Studio and press "A"

Once in Flipnote Studio, touch "Flipnote Hatena"

then touch "OK".

Flipnote Studio will now connect you to Sudomemo.

And here you are! Congratulations! You're now in Sudomemo!

If you have any troubles, feel free to join the Discord, which is linked below.

No, it's actually about these hairpin legs.

this is now a very popular type of legs for tables of slab.

And today in this video I will show how I made them.

So, in order to make the stem pin, namely for the bending process of the bar

I will use such a device

consisting of an angle of 40*40 mm,

from profile pipe 15*15 mm

from the roller from the old Volga (GAZ-24)

bolted and welded to the corner

And a piece of profile pipe 15*15mm

to create force on the rod.

the rod I use 8 mm smooth

I'll cut the stock pin because some of it will go to the bend,

and besides, the bend may be not in the middle

The base of the legs, that is the place where legs will be attached to the table

I'm going to do the strip 40*40 mm departure in each direction at 100 mm

Now with semi-automatic welding

I'll weld these two pieces on both sides.

In fact, in the carpentry workshop this is not desirable

but since I have no choice in the winter, I'll do it here carefully

From this thin plywood and I will make a template for marking holes

Now I will collect the device from plywood at the time of welding

the legs were of the same length and at the same angle to the base

I immediately marked the distance for different legs in height

The device for the manufacture of legs is ready

Now I'll show you how to use it

here we put the base

push the pin into the hole

and choose the length corresponding to the length of the legs

I will be doing legs and a length of 40 mm

so I rest against this bar,

align center

and now you need to weld in these places

Now you need to welding in a circle, and then saw off the excess in place.

Four legs studs ready

And in one of the following videos, I'll make a tabletop,

where and apply these legs

DEFERRED Early Decision: How I Got Into Princeton AFTER Being Deferred!! (2019) - Duration: 13:25.

If you've been deferred from your dream college, you're not alone.

I know from first-hand experience that this feeling SUCKS!

Luckily, you've come to the right place: stick around for this video to learn how I

beat out 95% of Princeton applicants and went from being deferred to getting accepted.

Hey!

I'm Greg Smith, and today we're going to talk about getting deferred from college.

If you're watching this video, you've probably gotten deferred from your dream school,

whether that be, you know, an Ivy League, Stanford, University of Michigan, wherever

you're trying to go.

You're also feeling pretty bummed because you think your chances of getting in are pretty

low.

You might feel like you've 'wasted' your early action or early decision opportunity.

You're probably trying to figure out what was "wrong" with your application.

I want you to listen to me right now-- there is NOTHING wrong with you.

The top colleges, okay, ivy leagues, MIT, Stanford.

They all report that the amount of people that are qualified to get in way surpasses

the amount of people that they can fit in their class.

So, remember that getting deferred from a college does not mean that you are not good

enough to get in-- in fact, this school wants to give you another chance!

They want to compare you to the regular decision pool.

They're interested in you!

Now, believe it or not, after watching this video, you will actually have an advantage

over the people who just applied regular decision, as I'll show once I break down the letter

that I wrote to the Princeton college admissions office after being deferred.

Yeah, you heard me right.

I am going to read the actual letter that I wrote to the Princeton college admissions

office when I got deferred.

I'm going to break it down and tell you why it was so effective, and why I believe that

it got me into the school regular decision.

Oh, and, now that I have your attention, why don't you take the 3/60ths of a second that

it takes to drop a like on this video.

Also, if you are interested in more videos about college admissions, college life, college

comparisons, everything college, just hit subscribe and you will be updated whenever

I post a new video.

Now, enough talk.

Let's get into how I turned my Princeton deferral into an acceptance.

Step 1: Meet with your college guidance counselor.

I cannot highlight enough how important it is that you schedule a meeting with your college

guidance counselor.

From personal experience, getting deferred from your dream school can feel like the end

of the world.

But your college counselor has been through this multiple times.

They'll stop you from making rash decisions, they'll help you to look at things a little

more rationally, and also, they'll know exactly what your school is looking for in deferred

applicants.

Come to your college guidance counselor with these three questions prepared.

What extra materials can I send to this college to show that I am a super qualified applicant?

Usually, you will get a letter when you are deferred.

You should read that letter and see whether they say specify not to send extra materials.

Generally, if they say that, you want to back off, but otherwise, by all means, go and send

them everything you got.

But the reason I'm telling you to ask your college guidance counselor, is because they've

likely had experience with the school or with other schools in the past, and they know exactly

what the school is looking for, how much material is appropriate to send, so you don't annoy

the heck out of them.

Number two.

When are you available to meet with me and work on my letter of continued interest?

Just so you know, a letter of continued interest is a letter that you write to the school that

you got deferred to.

It shows that you're still very interested in the school despite being deferred.

We have a little bit of work to do before we start writing this.

I'll explain what I mean in a sec.

And, the third question.

How does my college list look like?

Are there any holes or gaps or schools that I haven't really looked at that I might want

to add for the regular decision round, considering that I've been deferred?

While you might hate to ask a question like this, it's actually very important that

you do.

When you have this mindset that there's only one school you can go to and one school that

you'll be happy at, it causes a lot of stress, especially once you've been deferred.

Step two: This is the most important step, so listen up.

Make meaningful contact with someone at the university OUTSIDE of the admissions office.

The letter of continued interest is something that you brought up in your meeting.

But basically everyone who gets deferred writes one of those, right?

So, how are you going to stand out?

How is your letter going to be special among the sea of deferred applicants?

Well, you're going to put in some extra work to show that you're super dedicated

and connected to the college in a way that a lot of people are not.

Now all I did to get this meaningful contact was reach out to a professor whose work I

found interesting, and she responded, very thankful for my interest in her work.

Then, I wrote about that experience and interchange in my letter of continued interest, and talked

about how I wanted to continue to meet with professors and study their work at Princeton.

My grades dropped senior year!

I was having a lot of fun.

But, I did this, and I got accepted guys, so it kind of seems like this letter is what

made the difference between my acceptance and rejection.

Now, what are some of the ways that you can make contact with a professor or student at

the school that you were deferred from?

If you live nearby, just do a campus tour.

Stick around after the tour to get the tour guide's name and email address.

If they are a junior or a senior, they are likely doing some sort of research or project

with some sort of professor; you could even probably ask the professor who's advising

them on their research.

Bam!

You're done.

If you don't have the resources to do a campus tour of the school that you're interested

in, you can also do some online sleuthing to find out what kind of research is being

done at the school that you're interested in.

It's really as easy as googling "research at stanford."

Their research page shows up, you can see different articles about different studies

that are being done, and usually there's authors at the bottom.

They have emails on the faculty page, and boom, you're in.

Now it might seem pretty intimidating to reach out to a college professor about their research

when you're just a high school student, but don't worry!

I'm not asking you to critique their experiments or offer some alternate theory or something

like that.

All I'm asking you to do is to write a quick email or letter saying "Hey, I really think

this research is interesting, I'd love to learn more.

Also, what are the research opportunities like in your field at x or y school?"

Professors love to talk about their research, and they love to talk about their school as

well, so, hopefully you will get a response!

If you have gotten a reply or even a nice back and forth conversation with a student

or a professor about their research or what they've been doing at the school, why their

research is interesting to them, then you're ready to move on to step three.

Step threeis to write and send your letter of continued interest.

Now, if you've done all the work, writing this letter is relatively simple.

It's not like your college essays where you have to really make sure you're telling a

unique story and things like that.

It's simply a letter showing that you are still interested in the school.

Now, I am going to read you my real-life letter of continued interest from when I applied

to Princeton.

Please do not copy it verbatim.

I have talked in a number of my videos about how plagiarism works, how easy it is for them

to catch you, and how negative and awful the consequences are if they do, so just don't

risk it, write this in your own words, just use the idea as a jumping off point.

Okay, so let's get reading it.

"Dear Dean Rapelye, Thank you for giving me the opportunity of a second review of my

application.

While I was disappointed in the deferral, it has not changed my belief that Princeton

is a terrific fit for me.

I understand you see many outstanding candidates, so I thought I'd take a moment to highlight

what I feel differentiates me from other applicants."

So, all I basically did here was mention that Princeton is still my first choice school

despite being deferred, and I sorta outlined what I was going to do in the rest of the

letter as well.

So.

"As the recipient of my high school's Confucius Scholar Award (given to the top

Mandarin student in the school), I feel prepared and excited to take advantage of Princeton's

intensive East Asian Studies program, which will open a terrific career path in the fastest

growing nation in the world.

I am not afraid to take on challenges, studying ahead to take the Physics SAT subject test

two weeks into my AP Physics class, and scoring a 780.

Finally, my community service work will support the informal motto of the school "Princeton

in the Nation's Service and the Service of Humanity", and serve the community well,

both as a student and an alum."

So in the second paragraph, I'm really just reminding the admissions officer about some

of the key highlights of my application, sort of like a "sparknotes of Greg Smith's Common

app."

And I also show how the things that I'm doing relate specifically to Princeton, so you know,

I talk about my Chinese proficiency which really ties in well with Princeton because

Princeton's Chinese department is one of its finest *oops cut this out*.

Also, I talked about community service because Princeton's motto is "Princeton in the nation's

service."

"When I went on a campus tour of Princeton, I was offered the unique opportunity to explore

what Princeton has to offer in terms of arts.

It was an excellent and energizing experience that showcased to me the great academic offerings

at Princeton and helped me to see the many ways I could contribute to the community.

Since visiting, I have stayed in contact with Professor *bleep* in the history department

and Professor *bleep* in the theater department to further discuss topics covered during my

visit."

Now this is the paragraph that separates me from a lot of other applicants.

In this paragraph, you're sort of going to 'name drop' a few professors at the school,

or students, or whoever you know at the school, and whoever has inspired you to really want

to go to that school.

Admissions officers want proof that this is your number one school so that when they accept

you, you'll actually accept their offer of admission.

"Since I submitted my application in October, I haven't taken my foot off the gas.

I was recently accepted into the 2017 NAfME All-Eastern Honors Chorus, and am auditioning

for our school production of Chicago.

Our mock trial team has advanced through the first round of competition and I was named

'Best Witness'.

I spent two weeks in January building a stratocaster guitar, and have since been songwriting in

my free time.

Finally, the street performing charitable club that I founded has had another successful

performance in Philadelphia."

So, in this paragraph, I'm sort of just updating them on what's going on in my life, a lot

of these are not super impressive things but just sort of showing the college that I'm

still involved in life, still engaging, still interested, still learning, even though I've

submitted my college application.

Alright, last paragraph.

"There is nothing I want more than to call myself a Tiger next fall, and I am willing

to go the extra mile to make it happen!

I'm ready and excited to continue to demonstrate my interest and capabilities-- I'm happy

to schedule a second alumni interview, submit another Arts Supplement, or answer any questions

directly.

I can be reached by phone or email.

Thank you once again for continuing to consider me for admission to Princeton University's

Class of 2021.

Warm regards, Gregory Smith."

So, in this last paragraph, I mention a second alumni interview, I say "Hey, you can reach

out to me by phone or email"-- Don't worry about this.

This is just to show that you are dedicated to the school.

The admissions office will not have any time to go and call you up, and if they do, that's

great for you, that means really good news.

Step four: Focus on applications to other colleges.

Once you have sent your letter of continued interest, there's nothing else you can really

do that will help your applications-- in fact, a lot of thinks that you might think of doing

will actually hurt your chances.

Now that you've differentiated yourself from the sea of other deferred applicants, all

you can do is wait and focus on other colleges that might be really exciting to you.

Well guys, if you stuck with this video, then you are the person that every college, every

employer is looking for-- you're proactive, motivated, and excited.

And even if you don't get in to your dream college, those qualities are much more important

than which college you went to, so stick with it, you guys rock!

I just want to remind you guys that if you enjoyed the video it helps me so much if you

DROP a like and subscribe, share with your friends if they're going through a deferral

and you want them to see this video and help them get in, it would be really nice of you.

And, I have a question for you guys.

I am currently thinking about what my next video should be, and generally what the direction

of this channel should be.

So just let me know if you guys want more college admissions, SAT-based videos, or more

videos about my life at Princeton.

That might be interesting, since a lot of people I know are now sort of just deciding

between colleges or figuring out which one they're going to choose, so just let me know!

I'm happy to do videos on anything.

As you can see, I got this new recording equipment which I'm super excited about, and I'll see

you guys next week.

Bye!

How To Reduce Post Injection Swelling - How to reduce Post Injection Pain - How to reduce PIP - Duration: 3:34.

Being a dermatologist, an advanced lifter, and experienced with TRT I give you in this

video expert advise on How to reduce PIP.

I get asked very often How To Reduce Post Injection Swelling and How to reduce Post

Injection Pain?

Well, here it is: How to manage swelling and pain at injection site?

First you have to realize that most reactions to TRT injections will be temporary, and will

probably not cause any serious problems.

However, if any doubt, go find yourself a medical doctor that can help you out.

This is only general advise, and without studying the skin up close, it is impossible to give

any personalized advice.

Next, it is important to make a distinction between an infection and purely inflammation.

Signs of infection are -next to redness, swelling and pain- systemic reactions like fever and/or

the presence of pus at the injection site.

This can be under the form of a pustule or an abscess.

In case of an infection, you really need to go see a doctor to get a prescription of local

and/or systemic antibiotics.

If there is only inflammation, under the form of redness, swelling, pain, and the feeling

of a hard subcutaneous nodule or lump, then the following actions can be taken.

You can be conservative, and just wait it out.

In most cases, the inflammation reaches its maximum after one to two days, and then slowly

fades down.

The whole process can take up to 2 weeks.

Sometimes a painless subcutaneous lump can still be palpitated months after the injection.

Next, applying cold (like a cold compress) can calm down the inflammation.

You can for example apply cold compresses twice a day for half an hour.

Local application of creams, containing (the anti-inflammatory) cortisone can be very helpful.

Systemically an antihistamine drug can help with the swelling, a painkiller can of

course help with the pain (type paracetamol or aspirin, if you're not allergic to it),

and a NSAID (Non Steroidal anti-inflammatory drug) can be useful to fight the pain, the

swelling and the redness.

Most people are familiar with over-the-counter, nonprescription NSAIDs, such as ibuprofen.

NSAIDs are more than just pain relievers.

They also help reduce inflammation and lower fevers.

Okay, that's about it for this video.

If you are experiencing Post Injection Pain and Swelling right now, I really hope this

video was helpful for you.

Please leave further questions or comments under the video.

I try to answer everything every day.

Stock Market for Beginners | How to Invest in Stocks 2019 - Duration: 14:26.

How do you get started investing?

How do you put your money to work without getting sucked into all the hype and scams?

By the end of this video, you'll have a crash course on investing in the stock market

and how to invest in stocks for 2019.

In fact, I'm using the same investing strategy I developed as a professional equity analyst

to reveal my three favorite stocks for next year.

We're talking stock market for beginners today on Let's Talk Money.

Beat debt.

Make Money.

Make your money work for you.

Creating the financial future you deserve.

Let's Talk Money.

Joseph Hogue with the Let's Talk Money channel here on YouTube.

I want to send a special shout out to everyone in the community, thank you for taking a little

of your time to be here today.

If you're not part of the community yet, just click that little red subscribe button.

It's free and you'll never miss an episode.

For this video, I want to take a step back from our usual videos on investing and that

analysis we do in individual investments.

Instead, this one is going to be more basic, a stock market for beginners video.

I'm going to give you everything you need to start investing in stocks from how to get

everything set up to how I research stocks for my own portfolio.

I'm also going to reveal my favorite 2019 stock picks so make sure you stick around

to see where I'm putting my money this next year.

Now getting started investing isn't something you just take fifty bucks out of your savings

and buy some shares of the hot stock.

Your investing plan is based on your life goals and your own personality around money,

that's not something you can get in 30 minutes watching CNBC .

But don't neglect this part of investing.

I know it's not as sexy as picking stocks and talking double-digit returns but give

me fifteen minutes and I'm going to show you how to make investing stress-free and

how to beat your goals.

We're going to start off with two questions every beginner investor needs to ask.

Two questions that are going to tell you a lot about yourself and how your personality

is going to fit with your investments.

Based off just those two questions, I'll show you two ways to get started investing

in the stock market.

I'll then give you a simple three-step process I use to pick stocks, something I developed

over a decade as an equity analyst and working in private wealth management.

I'll then apply that three-step process to the stock market and show you the three

stocks I think could produce the highest returns in 2019.

Now on to those two questions and these are going to seem vague and maybe even a little

unnecessary for some of you.

You want to jump in to picking stocks and getting that process for stock market research

but don't neglect these basics.

They're going to lay that foundation that will show you how to be a better investor,

a smarter investor, and protect you from all the bad investing decisions that destroy wealth.

Our first question here is, "Are you comfortable with risk and losing money?"

This might seem like an easy yes or no but really think about it from past experience.

What are some times when you've lost money maybe say from gambling or from investing?

This doesn't mean you have to be ok with losing money, that would be psychotic.

The question is, how much stress do you feel with the idea of losing money or risk?

Our second question is, "what kind of an investor do you think you might be?"

Do you want to be actively involved on a monthly basis picking stocks, reading the financial

statements, or do you just want a stress-free way to make your money work for you?

I'll be honest, I enjoy reading the markets, learning about different investments and taking

that active part in my planning.

Everyone's not like that.

There are a lot of people that either don't have time to devote to doing their own investing

or just don't want to be a part of it.

There's nothing wrong with that, nothing wrong with wanting a hands-off investing strategy.

You do you, make your money and let the market do its thing to make your returns.

Your answers to these two questions are going to determine whether you want to invest through

an online broker or a robo-advisor.

Now I'm going to go into each of these, show you the difference between the two, pros

and cons of each, and how to get started before we get into that process I use to pick stocks.

First though, I want to share a very important report I just finished, an inside look into

something I learned over nearly a decade working for money managers and the wealthy.

That Wall Street lies to you.

Wall Street found out decades ago that if it wanted to keep making money, good investment

advice just wasn't going to cut it.

Instead, it would have to become more like Las Vegas, entertaining investors and keeping

them gambling.

To do this, the entire investment industry has built itself around ten lies it tells

investors to keep them scared, to keep them glued to the news and to keep them losing

money.

This is one of the reasons I don't work for Wall Street banks anymore and why I can

put this in a free report I'm giving to the Let's Talk Money community here.

I'll be sharing a link to get your copy of that free report, the 10 Lies Wall Street

tells investors towards the end of the video.

But I want to get back to that idea of getting started investing and those two ways to invest,

through an online investing site or a robo-advisor.

Both of these are going to meet your financial goals, the only difference is how active you

want to be as an investor.

First we have the online sites like Ally Invest, ETrade and TD Ameritrade.

These websites give you all the access you need to buy stocks, bonds and anything else

that's going to help you grow your money.

You'll get all the stock research you need, financial calculators and a lot of them will

even provide some time with an advisor.

I like Ally Invest because it's not just an investing site but part of a bigger financial

company that includes a bank and lending.

That means you can have all your savings and investing in one place plus mortgage and car

loans at great rates.

It takes less than five minutes to set up an investing account.

I'll leave a link to a review of the site and how to get started in the video description

below.

On the other hand, if you answer those two investing questions and find out you just

don't want that investing stress.

If you just want to have your money working for you but don't want to pick stocks or

deal with the ups-and-downs of the stock market then you'd be better off using a robo-advisor.

Robo-advisors are just a computer doing what a financial advisor is going to charge you

thousands to do . Robo-advisors like WealthSimple and Betterment take your age and answers to

an investor questionnaire and then customize an investing plan that meets your financial

goals.

Since it's all done by a computer, the costs are a fraction of what an advisor would charge.

Some sites like WealthSimple even have advisors available to answer questions so it's really

the best of both worlds.

I'll leave a link to WealthSimple in the video description if you want to learn more

about that robo-advisor option.

So you're set up with an online investing site like Ally and ready to invest but what

stocks do you pick?

How do you find those stocks that are going to outperform and beat your goals?

I want to share the investing strategy I used while working for portfolio managers and private

wealth funds.

Understand that this isn't going to apply to you if you've got your money in that

robo-advisor.

Robo-advisors are going to put you in a group of funds depending on your plan and you won't

be investing in individual stocks.

This three-step process is the one 80% of equity analysts use on Wall Street.

It's a tested and proven way to find stocks that are going to outperform and a way to

position your money to take advantage of themes in the market.

The reason why this investing strategy works so well is because it doesn't depend on

picking individual stocks.

Instead of trying to pick winners from the 2,800 stocks on the New York Stock Exchange,

this process starts at a higher level with the sectors and industries that are going

to outperform.

It's called top-down investing, looking at the bigger picture and those broader themes

in the stock market before you try to pick stocks . And you don't have to be an economist

or a numbers nerd like me to do it.

We'll go into finding those big picture themes but what you're doing is narrowing

your list of stocks to the sectors that are going to benefit.

Instead of trying to find one stock out of 2,800 to invest, you're saying, "Ok, energy

stocks have some great advantages in this market what are the best two or three stocks

out of 100 companies?"

The best part about this strategy is that by finding these bigger themes, you don't

even have to be right on the best stocks.

Let's say you find that deregulation, energy demand and political risks are going to really

boost the energy sector over the next few years.

I'm going to show you how to find the best-of-breed companies in the sector next but honestly

with these big picture themes you could throw a dart and hit a winner.

By looking at these larger, powerful forces driving an entire sector, all the companies

within the sector are going to be boosted higher.

Picking a few of the best stocks will help squeeze out that extra return but it's going

to be hard to go wrong and impossible to lose money.

So looking for these broad market themes, you want to look for a few clues.

• How do the different sectors react to higher prices?

• Are interest rates increasing and how do sectors react to a stronger dollar?

• Are there international trade problems and what percentage of sales come from overseas

customers for the sectors?

• What are the demographics of the customers for a sector?

Are their customers better off or facing a weaker financial future?

• Is technology changing the sector or are their opportunities for change that might

increase profits?

Now you don't have to always be watching for these big picture investing themes.

Another advantage of this strategy is that these themes play out over years so all you

have to do is find a theme or two and then ride it for as long as you can.

Your stocks within those one or two sectors are going to benefit for years.

Once you've got your broad themes and sectors then you start looking within the sectors

to find those best of breed companies that really lead the way.

This is where you narrow your list to two or three stocks that are going to outperform.

The first place I go to compare companies is the Statement of Cash Flows.

This is by far the most important of the three financial statements because it shows that

cash generating power of the company.

Management loves to manipulate the income statement to make earnings look higher but

it's much harder to change actual cash flows so you get a pure view of the company's

performance.

You don't have to be a professional analyst to look at these financial statements.

Once you have a list of stocks within a sector from your bigger picture themes, there are

a few things you want to compare on the cash flow statement.

• First is to compare the growth in cash flow from operations.

This is how much cash generation from the business so the best place to look and what

you want to do is look at it over the last five years.

How much has cash flow increased over that longer period compared to other companies

in the sector.

• Another place to look here is the free cash flow and the change over that same period.

Free cash flow is that operational cash minus the spending the company did to keep the company

going so you get a feel for how much cash is actually available.

• On the cash flow statement, you can also look at how much the company is returning

to investors through a dividend or buying back its own shares.

You also want to look at whether it's paying back debt or borrowing money.

Comparing the cash flow statements of companies is going to help you narrow your list down

even further.

So you've found a few sectors that are really going to benefit from these broad themes,

that's step one.

Then you find the companies within those sectors that are able to generate cash for investors

at a faster pace and that are using cash responsibly.

Finally, you're going to be looking for catalysts or roadblocks to growth for each

company.

This means looking in the financial news, reading analyst reports and management presentations.

By this time in the process, maybe you're only looking at four to six companies in a

sector so this level of deep research won't take more than a couple of hours.

You've already got that big picture view of the sector, now you're looking for company-specific

plans that play into that view.

You're looking for companies that have a defined plan to take advantage of those big

trends and how they're going to do it.

Now I want to take these three steps and use them to highlight three stocks, why I think

these are the best stocks for 2019.

Understand that even if you're investing in these three stocks, they shouldn't be

your entire portfolio.

Use that stock market process above to find at least six or seven other names in a few

sectors.

This is going to spread your risk out to limit that downside and maximize your return.

My first 2019 stock is Wells Fargo, ticker WFC.

This was an easy one despite all the bad press the bank has gotten over the last couple of

years.

Few sectors have as much going for them as financials with deregulation and rising interest

rates that will drive profitability.

This is actually something we talked about in our Warren Buffett series because Buffett

has more of his money in banks than anything else right now, almost $40 billion.

Wells Fargo is the largest deposit gatherer in the country and a leader in the mortgage

market, meaning it's going to win big when those long-term rates head higher.

Return on assets has slumped to 1.1-times this year from 1.4 in 2013, leaving room for

stronger profitability on management's turnaround plan . Non-performing assets have shrunk for

four consecutive quarters and the bank has been able to grow deposits consistently.

I'll admit that it may take time to rebuild the company's reputation after the scandals

but Wells Fargo always had some of the highest marks for customer satisfaction among banks

and I think it can get there again.

Our next stock for 2019 is CVS Health, ticker CVS.

Now the company has seen its shares gradually melt 45% lower since July 2015 on weakness

in drug pricing and fears around competition but this is a company with a huge advantage

and some great drivers .

The Aetna merger will create a vertically-integrated health care company like no other, able to

control pricing and patients at every step in the process.

This idea started with that giant shift to an older population and growth in healthcare

spending.

Being able to control drug pricing and insurance could boost profits significantly and the

shares now trade for just 10.4-times trailing earnings.

Even if Amazon is able to carve out a share with its acquisition of PillPack, the market

is underestimating the healthcare market advantage controlled by nation's largest drug retailer.

My last 2019 stock pick, and I'm going to get sooo many comments from this, but General

Electric, ticker GE.

For nearly a decade, we've been under easy money but no growth so all companies have

been doing is buying back shares.

There's been no capital investment.

That's slowly changing with tax reform, stronger growth and the move from low rates.

Companies are going to be investing in new capital and that's going to benefit the

industrials and especially GE.

Now I know GE has been a dog for the last couple of years, shares are down 60% since

the 2016 high.

But management has made the tough decisions, selling off some assets and spinning off others.

Cash flow is protected and I don't think the market is giving the company credit for

it yet.

I think a solid turnaround in stock price could start in 2019 with even more gains over

the next five years.

That's a crash course on the stock market for beginners and some of the best stocks

for 2019.

How do I approach Landing a Contract as a Minority-Owned Business? - Duration: 2:20.

Next question says, my business is a minority-owned and involves service members as well as video

technology.

How do I approach landing a contract?

Don't overthink this guys.

The bottom-line is this.

Anyone can do it.

I have business owners that have records, have felonies.

We have a guy who literally spent 10 years in the state penitentiary and started watching

my videos while he was in the penitentiary and got out and started a business and he's

doing government contracts.

Are they going to allow him on a military base?

No.

You know, he's limited but there's still plenty of work out there.

The government's guaranteeing 23% of the federal budget to small businesses.

There's 1.2 million for profit vendors in SAM, over 900,000 of them are inactive.

That leaves about 360,000 for profit vendors.

More than half of those are big business.

Half are small.

But, let's say for argument's sake, half are big and half are small.

That's only 160,000 small businesses that are active, who can share that 23% set-aside which

is mind-boggling.

It's a huge amount of money.

So, don't overthink it.

Stop overthinking it.

Stop!

Stop overthinking!

I want to pull my hair out sometimes - not with you specifically with this question,

but people in general.

They overthink this so much.

Registration.

Education.

Motivation.

That's the three things you need.

We'll get you registered within a week or two.

We can educate you within weeks.

You can start bidding immediately and just work the system.

Use it and work it.

Next question says, - well, i actually didn't really answer that question.

Basically, the bottom-line is this.

Set up your searches like I said earlier so you starting to get opportunities to bid on.

Put together your Elevator Pitch.

Put together your Cap Statement.

Send them to me so I can review them and work it.

Submit bids.

Pick up the phone.

Call purchasing agents.

Hit them with your elevator pitch.

Ask them what you can do to earn their business.

If they say nothing.

Some purchasing agents put everything out to bid.

Say, "Thank you.

Can you give me a tip or advice?"

If they don't have any advice a tip ask for a referral.

Same thing with primes.

Call them.

Hit them with your elevator pitch.

Ask them what you can do to earn their business.

Tell them you can help them with their ESRS requirements.

Ask them for a tip or advice.

Ask them for a referral.

You pick up the phone and make enough calls; you submit enough bids.

You're going to win one.

New! Best Formula For Babies Who Are Breastfed | How to supplement with formula - Duration: 2:12.

best formula for babies who are breastfed - how to supplement with formula | breastfeeding 101

hi everybody melissa here this show is about the basics of bottle feeding with

formula there are really three different main

types of formula and you're going to talk to your doctor and figure out which

one is the right choice for you but i'm gonna quickly run through them here okay

number one cow's milk formula i've got some examples here i have

Similac and I have Enfamil you can also find lactose free formulas here's one

that is a soy-based infant formula and you can get lactose free formulas that

are based on cow's milk so talk to your doctor figure out which one you want to

use when it comes to what type of formula again three main types powdered

formula and then you can also get liquid formula or concentrated liquid formula

now most people I know use the powdered formula for a couple reasons number one

it's very easy with powdered formula to make smaller or larger quantities and

not to waste it it's also good storage wise because it doesn't take up as much

space and it does tend to be cheaper however if you're going on a long trip

or something like that and you don't think you're going to have access to

water you might want to consider one of the liquid formulas it's sort of a nice

option so in terms of how to prepare and store powdered formula first make sure

you use an iron fortified infant powdered formula for the recommendation

of the american academy of pediatrics during your baby's first year of life

always check the expiration date on the formula kin formula can go bad and can

be unsafe for your baby once a kin is open it's good for 1 month

lastly formula actually has a very short shelf life after the powder is mixed

with water so do not leave powdered mixed formula room temperature for more

than an hour and always throw out what your child does not drink good reason

not to make more than you need once you mix the powder with water it will keep

for up to 48 hours in the refrigerator
