Here's When Mercedes Made Good Cars, 1990 Mercedes S-Class - Duration: 5:11.
it's time for show-off Sunday, where everyone has a chance to show off their
own car and here's this week's winner, I've tried to imagine what do people
mean when they described a vehicle by saying it goes like a train, does it gain
speed in a low but linear fashion, does it struggle going uphill, does it feel
stable at cruising speeds, although it seems that most of the time the saying
is using accurately, let's see if it fits at this Mercedes w126 350 SDL or the
s-class
since the saying never specifies which train it will be compared to this 1950s
Russian diesel locomotive which operates on a narrow gauge railway
visually there is nothing narrow about the s-class, but by looking closely there
might be some similarities, both have big mechanically controlled diesel engines
the locomotive has a 12 cylinder which consumes 60 kilograms of fuel per hour
and the Mercedes has a 6 cylinder which burns about 10 kilograms of fuel per
hour, check the interior and you will find that both have big round controls
at the front, though most likely for different applications and despite a few
other differences it must be said that the Mercedes actually does go like a
train just not this one a slightly faster
the previous owner in Florida did a good job in maintaining it, however it didn't
need quite a bit of work before it was roadworthy, after it served its initial
part as a wedding car, now it's just a perfect reminder to go and have road
trips whenever possible, it is something remarkable covering
miles with this car, the relaxed yet determined way it does it helps to enjoy
everything you set out to experience, something hypnotic about that old school
these are mechanically ticking away in the front, it's like diesel therapy, the
therapy gets even more enjoyable when you operate most of the perfectly
weighted levers and buttons, I say most because the climate controls don't match
the rest of the car, but that's judge by very high standards
though it's been said that it goes like a train, it's actually quite fun the
initial go from zero to 40, the torque is very well delivered and
enjoyable, however due to the huge turbo and the fact that there are only four
gears the turbo lag does appear on certain speeds, for instance it does
seems to be quicker from 110 to 130 then from 80 to 100, even if you stick it in
third, maybe that's where there is no pre down available, for some people the
agricultural nature of the engine will be off-putting and they will have
different sayings how this car goes and feels, but for those who enjoy this type
of therapy I wish they get a chance to drive or at least be driven in one of
these, well that was this week's video and
remember to have your car video highlighted here on my channel, check
this out, so if you never want to miss another one
of my new car repair videos, remember to ring that Bell!

Get me out of here! Trump wanders off G20 stage and leaves Argentinas President hanging - Duration: 4:17.
Get me out of here! Trump wanders off G20 stage and leaves Argentinas President hanging
President Donald Trump appeared to be in a hurry to leave the G20 summit in Buenos Aires.
The President was seen walking away from his Argentinean counterpart, President Mauricio Macri, just as the two leaders were supposed to pose for a photo opportunity on Friday.
The hilarious video shows Trump shake hands with Macri, the two leaders were then supposed to spend a few more moments on stage for a group photo with other G20 leaders.
But Trump was apparently so eager to leave that that he just wandered off stage.
An aide began to chase down the American President while Macri sheepishly lingered on stage all by himself.
Trump, while off camera, is heard saying: 'Get me out of here.'
Reporters who covered the incident started laughing when Trump awkwardly walked off.
The incident in Buenos Aires was the second embarrassing gaffe for Trump, who doesn't seem interested in the nuances of diplomatic protocol.
Earlier Friday, the President stood side by side with Macri and seemed to struggle to understand the translation delivered into his earpiece.
As the South American president shared kind greetings in Spanish, Trump tossed his his translation earpiece to the ground telling Macri I think I understood you better in your language than I did on this. But thats okay.
Just moments prior Trump looked flustered with the translation as he pressed the machine into his ear with a distracted and stern face, slightly nodding as a smiling Macri showered him with praise.
It's a great opportunity to thank you — to thank you for the huge support we have received from the United States and from your government, especially during this past year. We've been going through some difficult times, Macri said at the Casa Rosada, Argentinas presidential mansion.
But Trump didnt seem to understand too well with his ear glued to the earpiece and his face stale, giving little reaction to Macris kind words.
President Donald Trump has a history of embarrassing gaffes whereby he wanders off at the worst moments.
During a visit to Israel in May 2017, Trump abruptly began walking out of a photo opportunity with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Appearing lost, Trump had to be ushered back toward Netanyahu, who reached out his hand while press photographers snapped away.
Two months after that incident, Trump gave a speech in Warsaw, Poland.
After his remarks, Trump is seen walking aimlessly on stage for a few seconds, appearing unsure of where to go.
He applauds and then walks away from the bulletproof glass encasing which protected him while he was making his remarks.
Before flying to Poland, Trump flew to Andrews Air Force Base and stepped down from Air Force One.
On the tarmac at Andrews, Trump walked by his armored limousine, nicknamed 'The Beast,' and wandered off in another direction, even though the vehicle is what has always transported him to his destinations.
A Secret Service agent was forced to interrupt Trumps impromptu stroll and guide him back to the eight-ton Cadillac.
Then there was the incident at the White House on October 12, 2017, when Trump gathered a number of administration officials in the Oval Office to sign an executive order related to the Affordable Care Act.
At the ceremony, Trump gave remarks, shook hands with the assembled guests, and then wandered off - only to be reminded by his Vice President, Mike Pence, that he needed to sign the executive order.
Mr. President, you need to sign it, Pence told his boss.

Trumps trade war with China How we got here, what happens next - Duration: 1:09.
Trumps trade war with China How we got here, what happens next
Presidents Trump and Xi to meet on Saturday in what could be the last chance to avert a broad-based economic clash.
When US President Donald Trump hosts his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping for dinner in Buenos Aires on Saturday, the stakes could not be much higher.
It will be the first bilateral meeting between the two leaders since the start of the US-China trade war, which is set to escalate further in January if the two leaders fail to reach a deal this weekend.
The dinner is widely perceived as the last chance to avert a broad-based economic clash that would likely last for at least two years, with ramifications for the global economy.

Here's How A Bill Is Signed - Duration: 1:48.
Here's how a bill is signed.
Here's how a bill is signed.
Here's how a bill is signed.
I'm just a bill, here at Capitol Hill.
I wanna get signed, but I might get killed.
In order to obtain the approval to be a law,
I'll undergo a journey to eliminate my flaws.
I was born in a sponsor's brain.
She wrote me down, and now inside a hopper I remain.
The Speaker of the House has the power to decide
To refer me to committee or to let me die.
If I'm referred, then a hearing will commence, Where delegates debate if the policy makes sense.
They'll mark me up and read me out and if they think I'm cool,
I'll be reported out to the committee of rules.
This committee has the power to impose My status on amendments: open or closed.
Afterward, I'm placed on the calendar where I'll wait
Until the Speaker picks me to enter the floor debate.
Finally, I'm voted on, and everything is grand.
But wait, there's more! I have to go through all of it again.
Within the Senate the process reoccurs.
The majority leader picks a committee to refer.
Like before, a hearing will be made.
And hopefully I'll pass into the Senate floor debate.
If a filibuster tries to talk me down to death, All we need's a cloture, and the journey
will progress.
Now, we have a problem.
Since twice I've been revised, The Senate and the House have to reach a compromise.
They'll call a conference so that everything aligns,
And finally the president can veto or sign.
(Bill, Bill, Bill, Bill, Bill, Bill)
That's how a bill is signed.

Here's what Alex Rodriguez is getting Jennifer Lopez for Christmas - News Live - Duration: 2:11.
Jennifer Lopez wasn't kidding when she sang that her love don't cost a thing. The superstar's boyfriend Alex Rodriguez, 43, is busy planning her Christmas gift — and it can't be bought in any store
"It has to be something creative. I can't just go out and buy something expensive," the former Yankee told Old Navy behind the scenes of the brand's Black Friday campaign shoot
"For Jennifer, I'm going to get something that is handwritten or maybe a photo … something that is heartfelt
" Added A-Rod, "It is something that resembles a memory that we've had together that involves our children, that involves our home
Because ultimately, that's what it is all about." Rodriguez, who helped kick off a $1 million donation to the Boys & Girls Club with Old Navy, is planning to relax and let Lopez, 49, take over this holiday season
"Jennifer is the expert cook. I mean, she cooks delicious, but she got it from Lupe, her mom
Her mom is an incredible talent — she dances, she sings and she's a great cook. So yeah, I am the beneficiary of some good cooking in the kitchen
They don't allow me anywhere near the kitchen, but they do send me on a lot of errands," he said
And once it's time to gather around the table, it's a no-phone zone. "We have a rule at dinner: There are no iPhones, no social media
We really want to engage," Rodriguez explained. "It is hard and it is challenging, because our kids want to be digging into social media, but … we have to walk the walk and then I think the children will follow us

Here is a timeline of the US China trade war that led to Trump and Xis high stakes meeting - Duration: 2:09.
Here is a timeline of the US China trade war that led to Trump and Xis high stakes meeting
The Trump administration has one of its best opportunities yet Saturday to de-escalate a potentially ruinous trade war with China.
President Donald Trump will hold a dinner meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping at the G-20 summit in Argentina. The leaders of the worlds two largest economies will try to make progress toward a trade deal as businesses and investors fear a mounting series of tariffs could damage the global economy.
The U.S. has already put tariffs on $250 billion in Chinese goods, and could slap duties on an additional $267 billion in imports. Beijing has responded with tariffs on $110 billion in U.S. goods targeting politically important industries such as agriculture.
Trump, who campaigned in 2016 on cracking down on what he called Chinese trade abuses, comes into the meeting with a specific set of demands. He wants to address alleged Chinese theft of intellectual property, forced technology transfers, ownership of American companies in China and tariffs and non-tariff barriers, among other issues.
The White House has shown optimism about making progress, but Trump has threatened even more tariffs if the sides cannot reach a deal. Washington and Beijing appeared to have a difficult task in striking a concrete trade agreement even as Trump seeks a political win on one of his signature issues.
On Friday, a senior administration official said Trump "doesnt feel pressure to make a deal for the sake of a deal" and feels "he has more time." The president has gotten information from advisors that the economy "continues to show resilience and strength" despite a recent slide in U.S. stock prices, the official said.
Here is a timeline of the U.S.-China trade conflict during the Trump era that led up to the dinner, and the products the tariffs have affected so far:
The list of goods covered by the trade war runs to thousands of specific items, from aircraft to zirconium.
While American consumers may notice an immediate impact for higher prices on TV sets and sneakers, tariffs on intermediate goods will also eventually be passed along.
Here are the lists of goods subject to tariffs, along with additional products that may yet get hit if the trade war continues to widen.
