Most animals cant speak English.

Some people have taught animals to communicate using sign language.

Which animals are the best at signing? Apes.

Why? They use their hands to work with tools, like hammers and saws, like a person.

Now I'll describe a few apes which have learned American Sign Language.

In 1966 at the University of Nevada,

Two psychologists wanted to teach an animal ASL.

They chose a chimpanzee named Washoe.

Washoe was an 8-month-old female.

They picked a chimpanzee because they are smart, social, and like people.

Washoe lived in a lab.

A person would teach her a sign, and she would copy it.

Altogether, Washoe learned 250 different signs.

Later, Washoe adopted a son named Loulis.

Washoe taught Loulis to sign.

Loulis was the first animal to learn sign language from another animal rather than a person.

In 1973 at Columbia University,

A psychologist named Herbert Terrace wanted to teach a chimpanzee to sign like Washoe.

Terrace picked a male chimpanzee named Nim Chimpsky.

Terrace chose the name in reference to Noam Chompsky,

A famous linguist who believed only humans could use language.

Stephanie LaFarge, one of Terrace's students,

adopted Nim, bringing him home to live with her family.

Terrace wanted Nim to grow up like a person, in a normal environment,

not live in a lab like Washoe had.

After one year, Nim could no longer stay in LaFarge's house and had to move to a lab.

Nim learned 125 signs, but he only copied the teacher. He did not sign independently.

In 1972 at Standford University,

A psychologist named Francine Patterson began teaching ASL to a different animal,

a gorilla named Koko, a 13-month-old female.

Now, Koko knows around 1,000 signs.

Compared to chimpanzees who have learned ASL like Washoe and Nim,

Koko signs a greater variety of words.

Koko displays emotion, humor, intelligence, and sneakiness like a human child.

Her IQ is estimated to be between 85 and 95.

Maybe animals can't speak, but these apes show that

they can understand language.

Maybe in future research, a different kind of animal will learn sign language.

That feeling when, you get out in the morning at 6:30 and you can tell by the smell

that it is going to be a warm day

good morning guys

Week 5 begins and

as you can see here, I didn't really gain weight, last week

And this might be because of one of two things

Either that sprouts and greens are not

the best foods for gaining muscle or weight

or that I was on the road with my band

didn't get much sleep

wasn't able to train or eat properly

and thus stagnate

So, what to do?

well, not to worry

Rather starting again in this new week

and trying to continue

you guys know, you will never arrive, it is always the way

It is always the way. One has to

improve from week to week

I have to say, I am actually convinced that sprouts like buckwheat

are foods to gain build muscle

since, as already mentioned in another video

sprouts have already transformed the proteins to amino acids, during the process of sprouting

so that they can directly be used for repairing muscle tissue

That is how you save some energy in your body

the step where your body has to split up the proteins to amino acids

Btw. the same happens this carbs and fats

another advantage of that is the saving of digestive energy

and, thus, one has to eat less calories in total

that is why I "only" eat 3500 calories

rather than 4000 calories, which I would normally do

But in my opinion you do save some energy if you mostly eat sprouts

and that's why I consume 3500 calories

We shall see

there is one great spot for wild herbs

which is right over here

Here we have stinging nettles

and stuff like ashweed

and here's my first bag, full of stinging nettles

and now I will fill up my second bag with ashweed and hedge garlic

Here we have some dandelion

you can tell by the garlicky smell

yap that's it

and some of these nice and big stinging nettle, I'll take some more of these

Did you know that stinging nettle is one of the most protein containing wild herbs

I think that many people don't know how potent wild herbs are

If you think about it. Ashweed or stinging nettle have up to 20x more nutrients than kale

And many people refer to kale as the "Alpha Omega" of greens

What I can promise you guys is that if you consume

that many greens every day, ideally juicing 'em

you'll definitely hit your daily vitamins

if you then add some sprouted buckwheat for the mineraly and you absolutely good to go

AMERICA'S PATRIOT PAC 3 VS RUSSIA'S S 400:WHICH IS BETTER? - Duration: 6:12.

Air defense has been and will be a very important aspect of a nation's military capability.

In any modern battle scenario, air dominance is critical.

A credible air defense system makes it hard for the enemy to achieve air dominance and

because of this has a significant impact on battlefield strategies.

Modern air defense systems are capable of not only taking out aircrafts but also cruise

missiles, UAVs and some even have the capability to intercept ballistic missiles.

Major militaries have spent huge effort to design and field capable air defense systems.

In this video, Defense Updates compares AMERICA'S PATRIOT PAC 3 AGAINST RUSSIA'S S 400 and

find out which is better.

Lets get started.

The American Patriot Missile System is manufactured by Raytheon.

It entered service in1981.

Patriot systems have been sold to many countries like the Netherlands, Poland, Germany, Japan,

Israel, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait to name a few.

The Patriot system is expected to remain in the service until at least 2040.

Russia's S 400 is designed by Almaz Central Design Bureau as an upgrade of the S-300 family.

It entered into service in 2007.

The system has been sold to China and India has also committed to acquire it.

The radar is the eye of an air defense system and is used to detect and track targets.

The AN/MPQ-65 Radar in Patriot Pac 3 is a passive electronically scanned array radar.

It is equipped with IFF (Identification friend or foe) and electronic counter-countermeasure

to resist jamming.

The radar has a range of around 160 km.

S 400 uses multiple radars depending on threat perception.

The primary one is either the 91N6E Big Bird Acquisition and Battle Management Radar or

92N6E Grave Stone Multimode Engagement Radar These have range of around 600 km.

The main radar is complimented by target acquisition radars like 67N6 Gamma de and 9N6 Protivnik

ge radars in L band, Nebo SVN in the Very high Frequency band and Nebo m in Multiband.

The Nabob svn & Zebu m have claimed capability against stealth aircraft.

S 400 has radars with better detection range and the versatility makes it a winner in this segment.

Patriot Pac 3 introduced the new MIM-104F missile, which is also referred as the PAC-3 missile.

It has reduced size compared to previous Patriot missiles and is more maneuverable.

The missile uses hit to kill strategy though it has small high fragmentation warhead to

enhance the kill probability.

For aerial targets, like aircrafts & drones, Patriot MIM-104F missile has engagement range

of 160 km whereas for ballistic missile it has a range of about 30 km.

S 400 deploys multiple missiles to cover its full strike envelope.

1. Very-long-range 40N6 (400 km)

2. Long-range 48N6 (250 km)

3. Medium-range 9M96E2 (120 km)

4. Short-range 9M96E (40 km)

For aerial targets like aircrafts & drones, S 400 missile has maximum engagement range

of 400 km whereas for ballistic missile it has a range of about 60 km.

Clearly, the S 400 is equipped with missile having significantly more reach and gives

it a major advantage as it has much greater engagement range.

The maximum speed of targets for successful elimination is up to Mach 6.5 or 2,200 m/sec for Patriot

and Mach 14 or 4,800 m/sec for S 400.

So, S 400 can take down targets that the Patriot cannot handle.

This is very important as hypersonic missile are coming to fore.

The deployment time for Patriot is 30 min whereas its 5 min for S 400.

This means military commanders will find S 400 to more agile.

Launch angle of Patriot's missile is 38 degree whereas for S 400 its 90 degree.

The vertical launch enables missiles of S 400 to have seamless 360-degree target envelop.

As evident, S 400 has a better operational matrix when compared to Patriot Pac 3 and

will make it a more effective system in a battle scenario.

The Patriot is a system that is designed to provide medium range air and missile defense

over a small area.

It can be termed as a point defense system and suited to provide protection to vital

sites like air bases.

The S400 is a heavy-duty system that is designed to provide powerful air and missile defense

over a wide area.

Though primarily a defensive weapon, its incredible range gives it offensive capability when placed

near border region.

Russia's S 400 out performs America's Patriot Pac 3 by a large margin.

It is considered to be the most deadly air defense system and rightly so.

With all six stones assembled, the alien warmonger completed his mission of balancing the universe by snapping his fingers — with devastating results.

Thanos successfully wiped out half of all life in the universe, including most of Earth's mightiest heroes, with only Rocket Raccoon (voice of Bradley Cooper) being the surviving member of the Guardians of the Galaxy and the Avengers decimated to just Steve Rogers (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), War Machine (Don Cheadle) and Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr).

Wakandan general Okoye (Danai Gurira) was spared, but her king, TChalla (Chadwick Boseman) wasnt.

Nebula (Karen Gillan) survived the snap, but watched helplessly alongside a defeated Iron Man as Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Mantis (Pom Klementieff), Drax (Dave Bautista), Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) and Spider-Man (Tom Holland) were turned to ash.

MBaku (Winston Duke) was confirmed to survive, but the fate of Shuri (Letitia Wright) remains up in the air — as does the fate of retired Avenger Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), who doesnt appear in Infinity War (but is expected to return in Avengers 4).

The directors tip-toe around spoilers, but theyve now confirmed the fates of fan-favorite supporting characters:.

SLIDE 1/10 – HOWARD THE DUCK. The anthropomorphic duck appeared briefly in the post-credits scene in 2014's Guardians of the Galaxy, voiced by Family Guy's Seth Green. Howard made a second cameo in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.

  The dapper duck "survived," Joe Russo said. SLIDE 2/10 – JANE FOSTER Astrophysicist and astronomer Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) first appeared in 2011's Thor and again in its 2013 sequel, Thor: The Dark World, currently her last appearance.

Thor and Jane became star-crossed lovers, but the relationship ultimately failed, as confirmed by the Asgardian Avenger in Thor: Ragnarok. Jane's fate was dubbed "too spoilery." "When we say spoiler, [we mean] potential spoiler," Anthony Russo said.

The Academy Award-winning actress said earlier this year she's "completely open" to a possible return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

SLIDE 3/10 – ACTOR LOKI   Matt Damon made a surprise appearance in Ragnarok when he appeared on Asgard as an actor melodramatically portraying Loki (Tom Hiddleston), Thor's trickster half-brother.

  He "did not survive," Joe confirmed, a fate sure to please Matt Damon nemesis Jimmy Kimmel.

SLIDE 4/10 – BETTY ROSS It's been a decade since Betty Ross (Liv Tyler), daughter of now-United States Secretary of State Thaddeus Ross (William Hurt), was seen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Betty appeared in just 2008's The Incredible Hulk, where her relationship with big-brain Bruce Banner (played there by Edward Norton) proved to be a dead end.

  Banner has since found a sort-of relationship with fellow Avenger Black Widow, but what happened to Tyler's scientist-slash-professor? "Gone," Joe said simply.  SLIDE 5/10 – MIEK AND KORG Alien space buddies Miek and Korg (Taika Waititi) swiftly proved fan-favorites in Ragnarok, becoming loyal allies to a then-displaced Thor.

They were last seen in the Thor threequel aboard the Statesman, the Grandmaster ship commandeered to save the Asgardians from extinction, but come Infinity War, the duo are nowhere to be found.

That ship is attacked in the earliest moments of Infinity War, with half of its inhabitants slaughtered, but Thor confirms the other half of his people made it to safety.

Though they may have survived that initial onslaught, were they wiped out by the snap? "Spoiler," Joe said. No mention was made of fan-favorite Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), but the director previously confirmed the Asgardian warrior was among those who escaped the Statesman.

SLIDE 6/10 – SHURI   And what about Wakandan princess and genius inventor Shuri? The young scientist was last seen in Infinity War in her lab, where she attempted in vain to free the Mind Stone from the head of Vision (Paul Bettany).

She was forced to try and ward off an attacking Corvus Glaive (Michael James Shaw), who sought the Stone coveted by Thanos.

The film left Shuri's status unknown, but if she survived the snap, she would inherit Wakanda's throne as queen in light of her brother's death. Shuri's fate is a "spoiler," Joe said.

SLIDE 7/10 – NAKIA Another Black Panther fan-favorite, War Dog Nakia (Lupita Nyong'o), was not seen or mentioned in Infinity War.

So what happened to the globe-trotting spy? The brothers didn't say if she was annihilated by the snap, explaining only, "She's on missions," Joe said.

Added Anthony, "Yeah, deep undercover." SLIDE 8/10 – NED LEEDS   And what of Peter Parker's guy in the chair-slash-best friend, Ned (Jacob Batalon)? The teen had a scene-stealing comedy cameo in Infinity Warwhen he covered for best bro Peter to transform into Spider-Man, but his fate remains in the air.

  SLIDE 9/10 – AUNT MAY   Peter Parker's best friend is a big question mark, but what about his hot aunt? Aunt May (Marisa Tomei) first appeared in 2016's Captain America: Civil War before reprising her role in 2017's Spider-Man: Homecoming, where she learned her 15-year-old nephew was a wall-crawling superhero.

Was Peter Parker's unusually attractive aunt wiped out?  May is "safe," Anthony said.

Dont celebrate just yet: with Peter turned to dust, that means Aunt May lost her husband and her nephew in the span of just a couple of years.  SLIDE 10/10 – LADY SIF   And what of valiant warrior Lady Sif (Jamie Alexander), who was off-world in Thor: Ragnarok and was subsequently spared death at the hands of Hela (Cate Blanchett) and Asgard's destruction? Will she make a triumphant return in Avengers 4 and help save the day? HuffPost reports the Russo brothers confirmed she won't be involved in the Infinity War sequel.
