Very drying on my skin it doesn't blend well same formula. I thought Kylie and Kim used the exact same formula for their concealers

We are gonna do another beauty battle
And this one might be the most epic beauty battle of all it's gonna be a family
feud today on my channel because I'm comparing the Kylie cosmetics concealer to the
k'kaw Beauty
Concealer so if you want to see how these compare and contrast and which one ultimately is better
Just keep on watching so I have had the k'kaw or I'm sorry I've had the Kylie Jenner
Concealer for quite some time now, and I use it pretty much every single day
I really really genuinely like the Kylie cosmetics concealer
I love the formula nice coverage super blendable really really nice hydrating, but not like greasy
I just love the formula. It's good
I did a 1 min review on it if you want to see like a couple more details on it
So I'll pop that up if you're interested now
I have used the k'kaw concealer a few times this past week, and I'll be honest. I have not been impressed at all
It's very drying on my skin. It doesn't blend well
It axises
I just haven't been impressed so far so I'm interested to see
When I do it on camera because sometimes I look back at the footage, and I'm like wow that actually looks really good
So I'll try it again today. I'll see how it compares to the Kylie one and we'll figure it out now
I unfortunately don't have the same color in both of these concealers the one I wanted from
K'kaw is sold out so I got the number 4 concealer, which is very light like I said it does oxidize
Whereas, I got a deeper color than I normally would pine nut in the kylie one
So just try to ignore the color difference
We're really talking about the formula, so hopefully that won't be too much of a distraction, but without further ado
Let's jump right into applying these concealers
Let me just wet my Beauty Blender, and I'll be right back ok
So I'm going to blend both these concealers in with the Beauty Blender because that's always always always how I blend my concealer so no
Sense in switching it up for this video, so I am going to put the normally for a half and a half
I try to split my nose
Maybe I will try and do that I was gonna
Just put the k'kaw want on my nose because what I was noticing this past week when I was applying it
that it was making my nose super super dry and
That was just kind of strange because my nose is not usually a place where I get a lot of dryness
So maybe I will try and split it although. It's gonna be kind of hard with how the concealers blend, but I'm just gonna start
So I have zero on my face right now
I don't have any foundation, and I like to do my concealer reviews this way just because I really feel like it shows the coverage
Whereas if you put it over a?
foundation and I don't feel like you could see as
Well, how it covers and how it blends, and I prepped my skin as normal with just some
Moisturizer so I'm basically just applying this through the center of my face
Again I already know I really like this concealer it serves me. Well. I'm just gonna go ahead and blend it in know
Right off the bat when I first used this concealer. I was really impressed with how it blends it
Just really seamlessly kind of melts into your skin
And I've just I've always just really liked it. I don't really have anything bad to say about it to be honest
Okay, so that is the concealer all blended in took about one to two minutes
I'm not having any weird
settling on my nose like I did the keiki w so I'm interested to see today if it's gonna do the same thing that it's
Been doing the wands are very very similar. They both have that flexible
Wand which I like I?
Don't really know why I like it. I just a little more comfortable to apply the makeup
But right off the bat, you can just it's just a I
Don't know it's it's a little bit of a thicker less amoliant formula
So if you guys didn't know the packaging on this is the exact same packaging as the Stila
magnificent metals glitter eyeshadows so if you have one of those
you know exactly what this packaging is going to be like because it's the same component and
Apparently this this is the exact same component. It's a jeffree star liquid lipsticks, so
Just a little tidbit there now when I first applied and blended this concealer. I thought it was the same formula
I thought Kylie and Kim used the exact same formula for their concealers, and I was going to be like
holy moly, but as
I used it more I
Realized it really
Isn't the same formula, it's similar
But there are a few key differences so as you can see it is a lighter formula
But again it does oxidize down to a decent match for my skin
Although I probably keep this as more of a highlighting concealer that ain't concealing concealer just because of the color so of course today
It's not making my nose. Look dry. I just feel like it settles on top of the skin
I'm gonna zoom in as I always do I'm gonna show you super super up-close how both of these concealers look on the skin
But this is just the general kind of first application now of course this side
This side looks a little bit more highlighted because the concealer is a lighter color, so
so what I will say is that the
K'kaw has a bit more coverage
Because it's a thicker kind of sticky or formula it clings on to the skin which gives you more coverage
But it will settle out to texture more, and it will highlight dryness more the Kylie cosmetics
Provides a little bit less coverage, but it's a more creamy amoliant formula
That's not gonna highlight dry patches as much and that's gonna blend a little bit easier
So I'm gonna zoom you in show you how they look together, and then I'm gonna give you my final thoughts on these concealers

See how I just applied this fresh
And it's a different color than this
That is what oxidation is for those of you that are not familiar with that term
It means that the product darkens as it sits on your skin
This is a freshly applied swatch this swatch has been sitting for like two to three minutes, and you can see it's significantly darker

So now that you have seen how they lay on the skin up close and personal you
Can kind of make your own judgement call I feel like this is kind of a personal preference to be honest and based on how?
They sit on your skin when I went into this review
I thought for sure with a hundred percent certainty that I preferred the Kylie Jenner
concealer, but now
For some reason today, it's not settling into my dryness as much as it had been doing through the week
I have used a different serum lately that is drying out my skin a tiny bit so that could have been the culprit but
Basically, I'll be honest I still prefer the kind of concealer. I just love that concealer. I love how blendable it is
I love how creamy it is but I do think the Kim K concealer gives you a tiny bit more coverage however
It's gonna be a little trickier to blend and
It's gonna sit on top of your skin a little bit more. It's just not as like creamy and melty as the Kylie one so
