Text on screen: What is a neutron star?

When a star bigger

and more massive than the sun

runs out of fuel at the end of its life,

its core collapses while the outer

layers are blown off in a

supernova explosion

What's left behind

depends on the star's original mass.

A star roughly 10 to

20 times our sun

leaves behind a neutron star.

A more massive star

becomes a black hole.

Unlike black holes, neutron stars

are directly observable, usually

as pulsars - the lighthouses of the

cosmos. Discovered

50 years ago, they are the

densest observable objects in the

universe.

Neutron stars compress up

to twice the sun's mass into a

city-sized sphere. Matter is

packed so tightly that a teaspoon

of neutron star interior

would weigh more than a billion tons

on Earth.

Still, the nature of the ultra-dense matter

in the cores of neutron stars

is unknown.

Because neutron stars

pack so much mass into such a

tiny volume, they produce

gravity strong enough to bend the light they emit,

distorting their appearance in

a way that enables the mass

and size of the star to be measured.

Scientists cannot

reproduce the extreme conditions

in and around neutron stars on

Earth. They must look

into the galaxy to answer decades-old

questions about extreme matter and

gravity.

NASA's Neutron star Interior

Composition Explorer mission,

or NICER, will make X-ray

observations of neutron stars from its

perch on the International Space Station.

It will give astronomers more

insight into these mysterious

objects - helping determine

what is under their surface.

A multipurpose

mission, NICER includes a

technology demonstration called SEXTANT.

It will analyze NICER's

observations to validate the use of

rapidly rotating neutron stars

as navigation beacons, for travel

in deep space, throughout the solar

system and beyond.

Meghan Markle and What It Means to Have Diversity in the British Royal Family - Duration: 11:27.

Meghan Markle and What It Means to Have Diversity in the British Royal Family

Meghan Markle's upcoming wedding to Prince Harry could potentially change how the world views diversity within the British royal family, and it's a heavy responsibility for a woman who was largely unknown to the world less than three years ago.

Markle, a California native, was born to a black mother and white father.

The 36-year-old former actress met Harry on a blind date in 2016, they fell in love and were engaged by the following year.

Although Markle isn't the first American to wed a British royal, nor the first divorcee, she is the first biracial woman in recent history to join the Windsor family tree.

Granted, Markle isn't in line for the throne, a point that has been attributed to why she is seemingly being welcomed with open arms.

As Andrew Morton stated on The View recently while promoting his new biography on Markle, Meghan: A Hollywood Princess, the royal family probably "would've thought a bit more carefully about it if she was an heir to the throne.

Since the engagement announcement last fall, social media lit up with tweets and memes touting Markle as "the first black princess" (which is technically untrue because she will be given the title of Duchess; also, Queen Sophia Charlotte of Mecklenburg-Strelitz is believed to be Britain's first black queen dating back to the 18th century).

Prince Harry and Markle's engagement news triggered the quiet racism that has been swept under the rug in how Britain treats, and reports on, minorities.

In December, Princess Michael of Kent apologized after being accused of wearing a "racist broach" to Queen Elizabeth's annual Christmas lunch and Buckingham Palace.

Prince Harry even called out the press for its use of "racial undertones" in reporting on his relationship with Markle.

Adding insult to injury, the couple also received a package of white powder that was originally investigated as a racial hate crime, a U.S.

politician was suspended from Twitter for a racist tweet about Markle, and this past January, former British UKIP leader Henry Bolton temporarily split with his girlfriend, Jo Marney, after she made headlines for several racist comments about Markle including calling her a "seed" that would "taint the royal family.".

Regardless of the disparaging comments, Markle's place as a future royal "changes the narrative," especially from a visual perspective, says Joanna Abeyie, journalist and managing director of Hyden Talent, a London recruitment company that places diverse professionals in senior level positions within media and creative industries.

Abeyie, a South London native whose mother is English and father is Ghanaian, has an acute understanding of the nuances of race and culture.

She has campaigned for diversity in publishing, TV, radio, digital and creative industries, spearheaded conversation around inclusion and trained thousands of people from diverse backgrounds who were previously overlooked by traditional recruitment methods.

She also interviewed Markle a few years ago, when she was promoting her role on the USA Network series Suits.

"She's intelligent, she's lovely, she's positive, she's sensitive, she's just brilliant," Abeyie tells ET. "She feels like quite an authentic, warm person.".

As for the royals, Abeyie says that the current generation has found them "more engaging" and credits the late Princess Diana for paving the way and playing a huge part in why Prince William and Prince Harry have always been seen as "relatable.

"When a white person looks at me, I do understand that I don't look like my mom, who is a blonde white woman, so therefore I'm probably seen as black no matter how I identify," Abeyie points out.

"With Meghan, even though we know she's biracial, I do think, to a white person, she's black.".

Regardless of how Markle may be seen in the eyes of others, the engagement "was a big move for the royal family in being inclusive and representative," Abeyie notes.

"It showed a bit of authenticity around the fact that her relationship with Prince Harry was born out of him just loving her and falling in love, and that was encouraging because it broke barriers, she adds.

It broke down perceptions, it changed the idea and the image of who and what a British princess is.".

"It's now become a possibility that people that do not look the same can actually fall in love and be a part of a big royal institution," she continues.

"I think it changed a lot for the black community in that respect, and I think many people are really behind her and really encouraging her.".

That doesn't undercut the argument that the royal family has been more accepting of Markle because Prince Harry will never become king, Abeyie says, noting: "One caveat is, would Kate have been allowed to be biracial?

Meghan could never be queen, that's what makes people kind of go, Well, they would let Harry marry her, wouldn't they? She's not a threat.

The race discussion is one that continues to come up when speaking of Markle.

On the contrary, Kehinde Andrews, an associate professor of sociology at Birmingham City University said in a Newsweek article last year that Markle "will never be allowed to be a black princess.".

However, Markle's love of activism is likely to be a large portion of her royal duties, Abeyie predicts.

"We are a multicultural society and whether the system or powers that be like it or not, so many different people from different backgrounds have contributed to the success of Britain, economically, traditionally and culturally," Abeyie says.

"It's nice that the royal family represents the diversity of London and of Britain.

I think that Kate started that, and Diana was a real pioneer for making it 'normal' and not an elitist institution, but one that was at a level with everybody else.".

Regardless, Markle's background has furthered a conversation about race and multiculturalism in Britain and why representation matters.

Whether or not her place in the royal family effectively smashes the impression that European royalty has been an exclusively white club, for Brits and others around the world, it's nice to see a change in what has become an unofficial relationship custom in the British royal family.

The fact remains that people of color often find themselves in spaces where they are the minority, and are sometimes the first to steer through unexplored positions and experiences.

It's no doubt that Markle is a pioneer among the royals, and that she will face more racism and discrimination from those who abhor the very thought of her shattering tradition by merely existing, but she appears to be undeterred by the noise.

"It's disheartening," Markle explained to the BBC in November of the racist reactions to her engagement.

"It's a shame that that is the climate in this world to focus that much on that.at the end of the day Im really just proud of who I am and where I come from, and Harry and I have never put any focus on that.

Weve just focused on who we are as a couple..

Falco Tarassaco, the founder of Damanhur, met the guest each Friday, responding to their questions.

Falco: Please

Participant: I'm new, I've only done some seminars on Past Lives

Question: What it the true mission of Damanhur?

Why was it born?

What is the message?

Falco: The mission is to become owners of our choices

Instead of the fact that they're always indicated by others

or by religions, or politics or the social state or what it can be

To be able to make choices so that people learn self-determination

Or, as we said before with another language:

To rediscover the God within

The forces that we have inside of us, and to use them

outside of our contexts in which our minds are closed

and then there are infinite...

there's the individual realization, there's also the collective

you can easily find them reading the the oath when people become citizens

it gives an idea of what it means to put part of yourself into the game

so that also the others can reach the goals, finalities and so on

So, a collective force that allows each single individual

to extend their own power, their own force

then there's thousands of shades inside that you need to discover a little bit at a time

Thank you!

You are welcome!

Days After Macron Leaves US, Trump Notices What's 'Missing' From White House - Duration: 4:08.

Days After Macron Leaves US, Trump Notices What's 'Missing' From White House.

Last Monday, French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte arrived in Washington

D.C. for a three-day state visit with President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania.

Now that the Macrons are safely back in France, however, people have noticed that an item

has gone "missing" from the White House.

Shortly after French President Emmanuel Macron arrived in Washington on April 23, he and

President Trump were filmed planting a tree together on the South Lawn of the White House.

However, by April 27, the tree had disappeared and was replaced by a discolored patch of

grass.

The sapling planted by the two world leaders was deeply symbolic.

According to The Blaze, the tree was a gift from the people of France.

It initially grew at the site of World War I's Battle of Belleau Wood, in which nearly

2,000 American soldiers were killed.

The Battle of Belleau Wood took place to the north-east of Paris in 1918, towards the end

of the Great War.

The U.S. Marine Corps took heavy casualties there, and Macron gave the sapling from the

site as "a reminder at the White House of these ties that bind us."

Of course, when the media noticed that the tree that Trump and Macron had ceremoniously

planted was missing, they had a field day.

The Associated Press tweeted that a "mystery was brewing at the White House."

Meanwhile, ABC News called the disappearance "something of a mystery."

"Something of a mystery has taken root at the White House — an oak tree sapling, planted

by President Donald Trump and French President Emmanuel Macron, has gone missing," reported

ABC News.

"The sapling was a gift from the French president during last week's ballyhooed

state visit.

Washington media flocked to the South Lawn Monday to snap photos and shout questions

as the two heads of state ceremoniously shoveled soil on the budding tree.

But now, less than a week later, recent photos show an off-color, pale patch of turf where

the sapling once stood."

My goodness!

Was last week's state visit so successful that THIS is the news that the mainstream

media has conjured up in a shameless attempt to smear Trump?

As it turns out, there's really no mystery at all.

According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection guidelines, the tree needed to be quarantined

before it could be permanently planted.

This is a standard practice for any imports of non-native species to the United States,

but it is especially important in this instance, as some trees in northern France have been

affected by a species of moth that has not yet made it to the United States.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection rules state that, when someone brings plants into the

country with the intention of planting them, special restrictions may include "post-entry

quarantine."

This measure is generally intended to mitigate the risk of spreading pests.

Many sessile oak trees in northern France are afflicted with a pest called the oak processionary

moth, the habitat of which has been spreading north from Southern Europe in recent years,

most likely due to climate change.

The moth has reportedly not yet made it to the U.S., although it is becoming a problem

in the South-East of England, thanks to someone importing live oaks that had eggs in them.

[Source: Fortune] The French ambassador to the United States

also clarified that the roots of the tree had initially been wrapped in plastic so that

it would not contaminate the ground during the ceremonial planting.

Once again, we see that the mainstream media has made a giant deal out of a big ol' nothing

burger.

It's almost as if they were trying to find something — anything — to prove that the

state visit last week wasn't really a resounding success.

These so-called "journalists" are unbelievable.

They will literally do anything to try to smear President Donald Trump.

Spread the truth.

"What makes Yggdrash special?" - Duration: 4:25.

Hello, It's Peter from Yggdrash Team. Recently the most asked question is this.

"What makes Yggdrash special?"

So I am going to explain about this shortly.

Yggdrash is the project which is trying to solve the problems with existing block chains.

Then what is the problem of block chains?

Let me tell you about Scalability and Persistence

It would be easy to understand to people who know well about the block chain, but if you are not, would be pretty hard.

The Bottleneck symptom happens when the block is made.

Scalability begins here.

Many projects exist, however, they can not give a solution how we solve the Bottleneck symptom

We would say Stem and Branch chain will resolve the problems with governance, thereby it can take care of Scalability.

What is Scalability?

For example, let me suppose if Facebook server is not work properly. It can be happened.

And because of this, google also has an error. Does it make sense?

It doesn't. But on the blockchain, it can be possible

If a part of block chain goes wrong, it can affect everything. That is for granted.

Secondly, if the server of the company next to you is broken, so that our company's server is also not work properly.

Does it make it sense? Can they do the service?

It's not possible in the real world even this problem is not going to be better on the blockchain.

It means something is needed to make it a serviceable level.

Thirdly, when it comes to millions of TPS is available, is it possible to do the all services on the Internet?

TPS refers to everything that changes in the confirmation process of block in the blockchain.

I have doubts as to whether all services apr possible because of high TPS. Yggdrash is a project that solves these three questions.

And next topic is Persistency also can be called Durability

Property it may exist forever

It's been several decades since the birth of the blockchain

But have a look here.

Red line is for Ethereum, blue one is for Bitcoin.

It is keep increasing.

Blockchain must have both beginning and ending.

So that we can verify the data and so on

As of now there are hundreds gigabyte of Ethereum and Bitcoin,

and will continue to grow steadily

And nobody does not raise a problem for this increase and do not offer a solution

The service is not for just two or three years, what is going to happen in 20-30 years?

Yggdrash is a project that raises questions about this and tells the answer

This is the purpose of the project.

See you next time!

President Trump's Rally Comes To an Emergency Halt After What He Immediately Spotted In The Crowd - Duration: 7:14.

President Trump's Rally Comes To an Emergency Halt After What He Immediately Spotted In

The Crowd

As most everyone is aware of by now, last Saturday night the President skipped the White

House Correspondents Dinner in order to go out to the red state of Michigan and have

a rally for his supporters.

But something that happened during his speech was truly amazing.

As President Trump was giving the speech he got wind of some kind of medical emergency

happening in the crowd.

So he paused in the middle of a comment about ICE agents dealing with gangs to ask for a

doctor to come and take care of whatever issue was happening.

After roughly stopping for 3 minutes you can hear shouts saying "Thank You, Sir!"

As President Trump then leaves the podium and walks to the edge of the stage he nods

and claps along with audience members who saw the situation was being handled.

When he returned to the podium he said, "Those are the people we love, those are great people,

I'll tell you.

And the doctors, thank you, doctor.

Great job.

Amazing!

What people we have, what people we have."

He would rather stop everything until he knows that the person whom he doesn't even know

personally is properly taken care of.

How many times can we say we have been able to witness something like this.

Then again, how many people can garner so much support at a rally a year and a half

after being elected?

Obama sure couldn't!

And this reason is why Donald Trump won us over.

He actually cares about us.

And you can see this in every single thing he does.

He isn't a narcissist like Obama, an excuse-maker like Hillary or even a plastic figure like

Mitt Romney.

He is a genuine human being who cares about us Americans.

And it has been a long time since we Americans have been able to say that about our president.

Here is more on this rally via The Washington Post:

President Trump bragged about his economic and diplomatic accomplishments and savaged

the media during a raucous rally Saturday before thousands of supporters in a state

that is critical to his reelection hopes.

The campaign-style event held at the Total Sports Park was billed as counterprogramming

to the annual White House Correspondents' Association dinner in the nation's capital,

which the president skipped for the second consecutive year.

"You may have heard I was invited to another event tonight," the president told a crowd

that began gathering under cloudy skies hours before the scheduled 7 p.m. kickoff.

"I'd much rather be in Washington, Mich., than Washington, D.C."

The president treated the crowd, dotted with the familiar "Make America Great Again"

hats, to his customary litany of immigration complaints, gibes at prominent Democrats including

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, and boasts about purchases of "brand-new" military

equipment.

The president also complained that the media had not given him sufficient credit for making

possible Friday's meeting between leaders of the two Koreas, saying he had "everything"

to do with it.

He also predicted that he would achieve the "all-time record" for appointing conservative

judges and boasted that his tax and economic policies were working.

"Let me tell you: Our country is doing great," he said.

"Trump conceded that the stock market, which peaked in January and has gone sideways since

then, has been hurt by his tough "America First" trade policies.

But he said it was necessary to push China for concessions beyond what Beijing has offered

to date, even if it inflicts short-term "pain" on many Americans.

"I can't let other countries take advantage of us," he said to cheers.

Less than 20 minutes into the speech, as Trump jumped from assailing former FBI director

James B. Comey to the European Union in a speech that appeared largely unscripted, some

in the mostly white and older crowd headed for the exits.

At nearly 80 minutes long, the rambling tour d'horizon was lengthier than most State

of the Union addresses and featured nods to space travel, the price of the new U.S. Embassy

in Jerusalem, promises of "crystal clean water," entertainer Kanye West and plans

to rehabilitate local infrastructure.

Trump showcased themes for the fall election campaign, warning Republicans against complacency

and claiming that Democrats would raise taxes, welcome unlimited numbers of illegal immigrants

into the country and whittle away at gun rights.

He brushed aside polls warning of a Democratic wave heading for congressional Republicans,

predicting, "We're going to win the House."

The rally, about 40 miles north of Detroit, capped another tumultuous week for Trump,

including visits from French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Angela Merkel

as well as controversy involving several members of his Cabinet.

During Saturday's rally, Trump reprised familiar talking points from his campaign,

boasting about cutting taxes, spurring job growth and protecting American workers from

unfair U.S. trading partners.

"Jobs are booming and confidence is soaring.

All over the world, they're talking about this success," the president crowed.

Since Trump took office, the U.S. economy has added 2.7 million jobs — an average

of 181,000 per month — while growth was fastest in counties that gave Trump the most

votes, according to a Washington Post analysis of U.S. Labor Department data.

He told rally attendees that companies were returning to the United States from abroad

and vowed that the economy would accelerate in coming months.

"They're leaving other countries and they're c oming back to Michigan," he said.

Still, Michigan's total employment grew a bit less over the past year than the national

average, and its factories added jobs at only a quarter of the national pace, according

to Labor Department statistics.

Trump's visit reflected the state's role in his unlikely 2016 triumph and his prospects

for reelection.

Washington Township is in Macomb County, traditional home to the "Reagan Democrats" who helped

Trump eke out a Michigan win by fewer than 11,000 votes.

The township is 93 percent white and significantly more affluent than the county as a whole,

according to the Census Bureau.

Michelle Kalil, 52, a physical therapist, praised Trump for reviving the economy.

" I think he's doing an amazing job and I'm glad he's sticking to his guns,"

she said.

Trump's approval rating stood at 40 percent in a Washington Post-ABC News poll this month,

up from 36 percent in January.

More than half of those surveyed, 56 percent, said they disapproved of the president.

The president also was greeted by a small group of protesters.

Ryan Drutchas, 33, a high school science teacher, called Trump's rhetoric "vile."

Trump derided what he called "the phony" Washington press dinner, saying that the journalists

who attended "hate" him.

Trump, who has attacked the press as "the enemy of the people," skipped the dinner

last year too.

But this year, he encouraged members of his administration to attend, and press secretary

Sarah Huckabee Sanders plans to "represent the administration" at the head table, WHCA

President Margaret Talev said.

Trump is the first president to skip the dinner since Ronald Reagan, who missed it in 1981

while recovering from his wounds after an attempted assassination.

Trump also said that he had a "a long and very good talk" Saturday morning with South

Korean President Moon Jae-in, who met Friday with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

"Things are going very well, time and location of meeting with North Korea is being set,"

Trump tweeted Saturday.

"Also spoke to Prime Minister Abe of Japan to inform him of the ongoing negotiations."

What Is the Difference Between Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR)? - Duration: 4:24.

Alicia?

Alicia!

Oh, yeah?

Are we starting this thing?

Okay, okay!

Hello there!

Sorry about that.

You may be wondering what I was doing before that had me so distracted?

No?

You're just wondering why we didn't cut that part out of the video?

It was for "comedy" okay, guys!

Just play along.

Like I was saying, I was checking Instagram.

You see, I love the gram.

I low-key strive to be an Insta influencer

by posting thoughtfully curated photos and stories.

See? It's going well, isn't it?

But I'm going to let you in on a little secret — this isn't my reality.

Shocker, I know.

But not only am I not in a different country every other day,

I don't even look exactly like this!

Most of these stories have been enhanced with augmented reality, or more commonly known as AR.

Umm AR?

Don't you mean VR?

No, Megan.

Ugh, I knew this was going to happen.

People always mix up augmented and virtual reality.

Okay, cue the new title card.

Augmented reality?

Virtual reality?

Sounds like a science fiction movie, but the two technologies

have been getting a lot of hype.

They allow us to travel to unknown destinations

and become PokéMasters right from the comfort of our living rooms.

But how do these two technologies differ?

Let's break it down.

Augmented reality, or AR, allows people to add digital elements into their actual environment.

You've probably interacted with this technology already.

Pokémon Go, social apps, and even the NFL all use AR.

My Instagram stories?

Yeah, those were taken with the help of Instagram's life changing AR technology …

the pretty filter.

Virtual reality, or VR, is a wholly immersive experience that allows the user

to interact with new virtual worlds.

Instead of placing a palm tree in your kitchen,

it makes you feel like you're drinking rosé in the South of France.

Oh, I could get used to this.

Okay, so AR adds things to your existing world and VR changes your world,

but which play is better to incorporate into your work world?

If you're looking to completely escape your office

and avoid being interrupted by your annoying co-workers, we recommend VR …

and possibly finding a new job.

But if you're looking to upscale your content and interact with your audience

in a smart, thoughtful way, we recommend AR.

Augmented Reality presents real opportunities for SMBs now.

Why?

Well for starters, billions of consumers already own an AR device …

their smartphone.

Apple and Android are encouraging developers to build AR applications

to better connect with their customers.

Retailers like Wayfair are already taking advantage of the technology

by letting shoppers see how their home would look with a piece of furniture before they buy it.

And Bud Light partnered with the NFL to sponsor an AR face painting feature on the Denver Broncos,

Houston Texans, and Philadelphia Eagles' apps.

Imagine the impact AR could have on one-to-one customer service interactions.

Businesses could leverage AR and video-calling technology

to walk consumers through repairs more efficiently.

For example, a contractor could draw on a live image of a prospect's kitchen

to show them how they would tackle a remodel.

If businesses have the technical talent or an engaging idea on how to leverage existing applications,

AR could be worth exploring.

On the flip side, VR requires specific hardware, like an Oculus Rift headset,

which only a small percentage of the population owns,

making widespread adoption slow.

The opportunity for AR is now

and with no clear brands leading the pack, businesses that invest early on could see a huge payoff.

¿What Public Relations or PR are? - Duration: 2:24.

Hi entrepreneurs! I'm sure that a lot of you may remember that a few weeks ago

I've talked about the Communication Mix. And if you didn't watch it, you can check it on my youtube channel.

There I've mentioned that in the Com Mix there are a few

marketing and communications disciplines. So today I'm going to

talk you about one of them, the Public Relations.

I'm sure that when you hear about PR, you think about something like this:

Hi, hi hi! If you're looking for the best fun, the best liquors,

the hottest women, the cutests men, the best current dj's,

"Santan's Dick" it's your club! Well... more than less.. Right?! You couldn't be more wrong!

The PR manages the communication between the brand or the company,

and the society. In fact, the PR character was born in the ancient times

when they've tried to promote respect to the tribal chief's leadership.

The PR are a planned discipline developed strategically

and that appeals tho the bidirectional communication. Among the

main tasks of a PR we find the management of external and internal

communications; the humanistic relations, which are the ones devoted to

gain public trust. And it manages the analysis and comprehension of t

he public opinion. Summarizing, is the one who watches over the public image of the company

and for that, uses disciplines like sociology, psychology and marketing.

And besides the importance of a good PR inside a company

it's usually put under the marketing department.

That's because the PR functions use to be planned from the

commercial perspective of the company. In conclusion, a good PR is

the one who takes care of, protects and promotes your brand or organization to

seduce society. And that's all for today folks! If you have any doubts, questions

or suggestions you can email me at the address on screen

Mi name is Adrià Muñoz

and this is the Entrepreneur's Vlog.

What 21 Year Olds Should Know About Hollywood by Bill Duke - Duration: 7:22.

Film Courage: This is a tricky question but it's up to you if you want to answer it,

navigating Hollywood agendas.

Sometimes what happens (and I clearly don't have to tell you this.

I'm sure this has happened to you in your career) but something will happen with someone,

it won't even be "burning somebody," but they are offended.

And then they come back to you years later as if nothing had ever happened.

Like you're great friends or they "friend" you on social media.

As a professional, how do you handle that?

Do you say "You know what?

It's water under the bridge."

Are there levels?

Some it's water under the bridge.

Others it's "Please stay over there [away from me] I think I'm good."

Others it's "You know what?

It was a misunderstanding.

I'm fine."

Bill Duke, Actor, Director, Author, Producer: I think it's both.

Some people you can forgive and forget.

Some people you cannot forgive or forget.

There are other people you can forgive and not forget.

So there's people you can forgive and forget.

Forgive and not forget.

It depends on what they've done.

It if's the kind of betrayal of a friend, but they not only...you in the back,

they held the object and twisted it a few times to make sure that whatever trust you had in

them was gone.

It's not that you wouldn't work with them again, it's called trust but verify.

I had a martial arts teacher once give us lessons in terms of…the teacher said you

know "If a man wants to fight you, you run away from him as hard and fast as you can."

And he said "But if he runs after you, and he catches you, you make sure he never chases

you again."

He said "Revenge is a dish best served cold…"

Don't shout, don't scream, it's like playing chess.

He said "Don't be playin' checkers in a chess game.

Play chess."

It's not about the outcome, it's the process, too.

So betrayal happens all the time.

Betrayal, rejection and this is part of our industry, it's that you…for the young

people coming up in this industry (Ben and I talk about this all the time) they come

in with dreams and hopes nice chests and behinds, faces, hair and bodies and muscles

and all that stuff.

And we were talking yesterday because Ben is going into the acting business, right?

[gestures to someone off-camera].

So I said "Look up the percentage of AFTRA and SAG actors in the Union (the percentage)

that work annually out of 100%" Guess what the number was?

20.

And out of the 20% how many made over $50,000 a year?

[Speaks to someone off-camera "A $100,000 a year"]

About 10% make over $100,000 a year.

Just deal with those numbers.

You are coming in here with hope and dreams, right?

Along with thousands of other people who look as good as you on the same day you're coming.

They say don't take rejection personally but…[exhales].

If you get rejected once or twice, you can understand that.

But suppose you're rejected every other day for 9 years?

What does that do to you?

It creates something called pain.

Self-deprecation.

Self-doubt.

And a lot of people bury those things with liquor, drugs and I did that for awhile when

I first started because it was just so painful.

Thank God I found meditation.

But I see kids out here now in the street and they came here with hopes and dreams and

they're…and when I say literally they are on the street.

It's sad.

There's hope.

I mean, there's luck and hope, everybody should keep dreaming.

But they should understand the business, too.

And the good part about today is you don't have to wait to be discovered.

You can put podcasts and webisodes up.

If it's something relevant and you get 1 or 2 million eyeballs guess what?

They come to you.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, it's been out for 10 years now, right?

It started out as webisodes.

Issa Rae, Awkward Black Girls, right?

Millions of eyeballs.

Has a deal with HBO.

TANGERINE at Sundance 2 years ago, a movie made with 4 iPhones.

Nobodies waiting.

"I'm waiting for them to see how wonderful I am."

These guys got tired of waiting, man.

They said "I'm going to discover myself."

And they did and guess what?

When they've got that kind of inner confidence and self-evaluation, something changed, something

happened.

And good for them.

High Performance Habits REVIEW! Brendon Burchard did WHAT?! - Duration: 2:24.

Brendon Burchard is a high performance coach and has worked alongside top 50

fortune CEOs Oprah and big celebrities and athletes he charges a quarter of a

million per person that he works with and it makes sense because he is one of

the most impactful coaches of high performance in our millennia he went

from being dead broke and living in his girlfriend's apartment to amassing 4.6

million dollars in 18 months and of course America well that's not the point

of this video the point of this video is to review high-performance habits which

has been getting a lot of traction recently and we want to see if it lives

up to the hype if you don't already know who I am my name is Sanju Baba Manny I'm

a full-time Forex trader and entrepreneur and it is my moral

obligation to make you believe in your dreams and chase after them so let's get

right with it from the moment I picked up this book to reading the last page I

wrote so many notes and I highlighted so much because this book has an absurd

amount of knowledge in each and every single chapter that not only explains

his stories and everything that he's dedicated life to it gives you examples

that you can actually use in your own life which is amazing especially from an

author of this caliber one of the key points I took away from one of his older

books a motivation manifesto and paired it alongside high performance habits is

that you need to create fear-based goals essentially anything that you desire and

any outcome that you have out of life that you want is outside of the comfort

zone that you are currently living in and you need to understand that the

ideal life and vision that you have set in your mind has to be achieved with the

fullest potential you have of yourself and that can only be done outside of

your comfort zone this book helped me take control of my overall health from

being more active and disciplined with my fitness and eating habits to learning

how to release tension by meditating which allowed me to create a newfound

energy that I dedicate towards helping others I hope you guys enjoy this book

Cozy in PJ's all the day

Go see a movie. Dad will pay.

Put your coats on and don't delay

I hope you'll say

Mama, you should hit the hay.

Made you a mug and thought no way

No painted macaron-nay

Instead this year on Mother's Day

No drama acting cray-cray

Make this a real holiday

What's the Reason for Your Strange Bowel Movement? - Duration: 3:53.

We are back to get to the bottom of some of your biggest

bathroom questions and joining us now,

you recognize him, proctologist Dr. David Rosenfeld.

(audience claps)

You know what, I just thought of it.

BBQ, like bar-b-q your best bathroom questions.

(Dr. Rosenfeld laughs) BBQ's.

Very nice.

Sometimes we have those after a good BBQ.

Well, this first question

is a Facebook question from Justin.

"For the past day, I've had major gas.

"My belly is bloating and I'm passing tons of odorless gas.

"but that's not the worst part.

"My stool looks powdery, dusty, and has a gray color to it.

"What's going on?"

A lot.

This is not normal?

That's a good question. No.

No it's not normal.

The thing that I see, that I look at, that's the gray stool.

And his is not foul smelling, but

if someone has a gray stool that's kind of

fatty and floating, foul smelling, pancreatic insufficiency.

And that could be from people who drink a lot,

chronic pancreatitis, the pancreas stops working

it doesn't break down the food

and we get those types of stool.

As far as the gas and bloat, that's an American problem.

That is a bacterial imbalance problem.

When the bad bacteria are here

and the good bacteria are down here

because of the food that we eat,

the bad bacteria, they produce gas.

So when we eat that food, it's not farting, it's bloating.

So, if we eat fiber we get gas, that's normal.

But, when we have bad bacteria,

too much of a bad bacteria, we start to feel like a balloon

and it's miserable so probiotics can help that for sure

because they bring the balance back

and then we don't make as much gas.

Curious, he mentioned his gas did not smell.

Right.

In your research, 'cause I'm a big gut bacteria guy.

Yeah. But,

I've not done any research on the good versus bad bacteria

and the kinda the smell of their gas.

Yes.

Will the gas often smell less bad?

No.

Are there bi-products, 'cause I had never heard that.

It's the food.

If we're eating a lot of just pure, like just bran.

Just a lot just fiber rich food, without the sulfurs,

so no broccoli, we're not eating eggs,

we're not eating, you know foods that are garlic

that make sulfur, the gas will tend to smell not as bad.

So you get a lot of bloating and gas

but it just doesn't smell as bad.

Someone like that though, who just wakes up

and this happens once or he said it had

only been going on for a day.

What are the sort of tops things

you would think about in that situation?

I mean just for a day, something he ate,

didn't sound like food poisoning

'cause he didn't have diarrhea or anything

but if it's just a day, one thing that happened,

I would say something he ate didn't agree with him

and he produced more gas and those are things that happened.

If it persists, then obviously

again the gray stool seeing a doctor

looking for something more serious

and then trying probiotics.

And they took two to four weeks to work

and that is the rage right now, probiotics.

And I would throw out there,

we still haven't found the perfect probiotic supplement.

Right.

So I always if you can, at least one,

minimum of one food a day with probiotics in it.

Right. Don't.

If you just go pick one supplement,

that may not be the good bacteria

that's gonna work for you so.

Right.

I'm curious, how often do you all analyze your stool?

All the time. (Dr. Batra laughs)

Every minute, every time.

I always look at before I say, bye bye.

It's important.

I think most people take a little

peak before you flush it away.

Most, but some people don't.

Some people don't.

Our stool tells how healthy we are

and I always talk about it, the perfect poop.

Long, solid, like that big around, soft and clean.

And I've had patients come to be after taking the fiber

and they said, "Doc, I had the ghost poop."

I said, "The ghost poop?"

I've been in practice 20 years

and I've never heard of ghost poop.

They say "I looked in the bowl,

"it was great, I took your fiber."

He said, "It just it went down, I looked in the bowl

"and there was nothing there,

"there wasn't even a streak on the porcelain.

"It was gone, it was a ghost poop,

"it went right down to, right down the pipe

"and there was nothing there."

So this when you get excited and you say and also

one wipe and nothin.'

Yeah, that's right.

You love the one wipe and nothing.

アメリカのここが好き!! What I Like About America! 🇺🇸(#39) - Duration: 6:07.

Hi guys!

Seigo Seigo from Seigo & Bren!

Today I would like to talk about 3 things I've come to like about America since coming here!

Nuber 1!

When shopping at a store, for example,

some people start a conversation with you.

This happens fairly often.

Well for example,

say I was wearing some really colorful clothes, or something.

Someone might say "Wow! I love your clothes!"

Or maybe "I like your hair color!"

"I love those shoes!"

People tend to give complements like that!

I don't think this happens very often in Japan.

People don't really try to start a conversation with people they don't know.

But if I'm out walking around a mall, for example, in America,

people often talk to me like that.

The other day when we went to the hospital,

the woman sitting next to me talked to me.

I think she complmented me on my ipad case then!

"Wow, what a cute ipad case!"

I feel like many American people are good at coming up with a reason to start a conversation.

Number 2!

Number 2 is,

I think I said this before,

but Americans are really good at showing affection verbally to their friends and family by saying "I love you".

I like that!

In Japan,

or I guess maybe just in my case,

We don't really say "I love you" to our family members.

Nor do we often tell our friends how much we love them.

I'd never really said those kinds of things before.

After coming to America,

of course I say it to Bren,

but I also say it to Bren's mom,

or family members,

or to friends when we say good bye etc.

Like "Love you!"

I say it then too.

I like it a lot!

It makes me feel good.

I wish we could use these phrases more in Japan!

But that might not happen.

The Japanese word for I love you: "Ai shite iru", is a little bit different from the English one.

If we say "Ai shite iru" in Japan,

it kind of makes us feel shy.

The American culture of saying "I love you",

is really good.

good.

good.

good!

Isn't it?

Bren: It's good!

It would be nice if Japan adopted that culture,

But is that impossible?

Lastly, number 3!

Number 3 is,

food is really cheap for the portion size!

I love to eat!

In Japan when I went out to eat,

I would ALWAYS order the larger sized portion.

Especially if it was free!

I always ordered food with lot's of volume!

But since coming here,

there is no need for me to order a special large portion,

because it is usually already a lot of food!

You are allowed to take home whatever you couldn't finished too!

I think it's very reasonable.

Things at stores that are the same price as they would be in Japan,

tend to have a little bit larger portion as well.

Snacks for sure!

Japanese snacks usually don't even fill half of the package.

Potato chips too!

They put more chips in the bag here!

I see that all the time.

It feels like I'm getting a good deal.

When it comes to food,

I think you really get your money's worth!

You can get a lot of food for just a small ammount of cash.

But one thing you have to be careful of is,

you'll get FAT!

When I first came to 'Merica,

as you can probably tell if you have seen our older videos,

I was a little fat!

I gained 10Kg since coming to America!

In about 6 months time.

I've lost most of it now.

So you have to be careful!

There is lot's of yummy food,

and a lot to eat!

It's cheap so it's easy to eat a lot.

Now that it's just Bren and I,

we have more control of what we eat.

Back in Tennessee,

we would go out and eat good food,

and Bren's mom's cooking is delicous!

It was crazy!

High in calories, but I would eat in anyway!

So that's something to be wary of!

*You're the one who should be careful*!!!

Ok~!

That's all for this video!

What did you think?

There are many other good things about America,

and these are just three of them!

If there is something that you like about America,

please feel free to share it with me in the comment section!

Also don't forget to subscribe, comment,

and...

what was it again...?

Oh! and leave a thumbs up! d( ̄ ̄)

See you in our next video!

Bye bye!
