Today
I will share how to make garland out of satin ribbons
for that we need
satin ribbon
1/2 inches
and
silver lace
thread
and a
needle
i don't know what its actually called
something like a silver thread
and a pair of scissors
so, lets get started
first, get the thread through the needle
we have to take both of them together
and, add a fold
don't cut the laces as yet
will be keeping silver lace on the top
and satin ribbon will at the bottom
and will attach the silver thread with a knot at the bottom
we will add a knot
we will bring the needle from back to the front
again
will repeat the same
will continue doing the same
I will show you once I complete half of it
so friends, it will look something like this
when you continue stitching
and try to keep the distance between thread as constant as possible
this way, you have to continue further
now, half of it is complete
so, i will pull the thread this way
it will look something like this after pulling the thread
we need to make this longer
keep pulling the thread at regular intervals so you will get an estimate of when to stop
if you keep longer distance between the thread, then you will get bigger petals
you can choose the distance based on how you want it
I have got enough length for the garland
so, let cut the lace and ribbon
I have cut a little extra
so, it becomes easy to fold
we need to attach the silver thread at this end too
lets make a knot here
so, the garland is now ready
you can make it in the color matching to your saree
you can use it as a garland for idols too by making it of required length
you can make garlands of any color you want
maybe, even matching to your saree

this is the flower we will be working on in this tutorial this is the type of
yarn I used for this flower and this is the yarn I used with this flower which
is what I'll be using in the demonstration and you can see the
flowers come out about the same size I will be using a size G crochet hook you
can use a larger size crochet hook to make a larger flower I want to start
with a slipknot I take this yarn which is the tail and wrap it over the top I
take this loop and wrap it over the main portion of my yarn insert the hook
underneath and then on top of this strand here this creates my slip knot

chain one I'm not counting that as a stitch work one half double crochet
through the loop chain seven one two three four five six seven slip stitch in
the top of the half double crochet this is what we have after the slip stitch

pull it through an orange in color now attach the new color in any loop with a

tail so I don't have to sew it in later we move right on over to the next loop

now we've completed three petals we have three more to do you'll do the same
thing work 12 half double crochet in the remaining petals I have finished all six
loops with twelve half double crochet I'm joining with the beginning half
double crochet wrap the yarn over pull the loop through cut the yarn and then
pull it through to secure I've changed back to the first color I'm attaching my
yarn between the stitches here on round one chain one work a single crochet and
I'm working between the stitches if I were going to add another round on these
petals typically I would go through the top of this stitch right here but that's
not what I'm going to do there's a loop back here behind the stitches so this
will be left alone I'm going to pick up this loop and work one single crochet
now behind this loop I'm going to pick up this loop back here work another
single crochet this is the front here and I move it to the back and right here
you can see the loop
this effect pushes the loops that we typically work through the top of to the
front of our work and this is the same as what I do with the ribbing and we're
just working behind the stitch and so this is another term you may come across
every once in a while work in the loop behind the stitch that's what this would
be the loop behind the stitch work one single crochet in each half double
crochet for a total of 12 when you get around to the bottom of the petal work
an extended single crochet that just means we're not going to work it real
tight we're going to give it a little room kind of pull it up a little like
that just like that move on to the next petal working in the loop behind the
stitch
this is the front and I'm going behind the stitch you can see the front of the
stitch right here and this is the back working behind the stitch
you
I'm around between the pedals and work a long extended single crochet between the
petals just like that then continue around for the remaining petals working
in the back creating this little ribbed effect around the flowers I've completed
the edging around the flower now join in the beginning single crochet now cut the
yarn and pull it through and give it a good tug and you've completed your
flower

hi I'm Sophie and welcome to my world today I'm going to teach you how to turn
a cardboard box into an easy inexpensive art easel I recently had to make 38 of
these for a little art show that we were doing in Mexico and I was able to do
them in an hour I'm telling you they're easy they're cheap and they work great
so I'm gonna teach you how to make it right now for this project you'll need
the free downloadable template from my website find that in the link below or
go to www.sophie-world.com you'll need cardboard either a box or flat cardboard
you'll need a marker exacto knife a cutting surface and scissors so first
thing you want to do is you want to download my template from my website and
you're gonna want to cut it out with the scissors so I've already got it cut out
and ready to go here if you are making this with a box it's really super easy
what you want to do is take your box and remove your flaps so you want to cut
these flaps away so I'm just gonna take my work surface put it underneath here
I'm just going to follow along the line
cut that flap off and then do the same on this side cut this flap off
now what you can do is take your template and you actually you know have
it folded in half line that edge up with the edge of the box and make sure that
it goes right along the edge there then you're going to take the pen and just
trace now if you've got a good exacto knife you should be able to cut through
both sides at the same time this is one of the reasons I like these box cutters
more than like a regular exacto knife
because you can bring the blade out further and then just cut across the top
here when you pop it out it's already ready to go because it's already been
formed at that corner so there you go and you just stick your artwork right
down in there now here I'll show you just stick your artwork right there see
holds it perfectly now if you have flat cardboard it's just as easy you just
have one extra step so in this case I've got my flat cardboard one of the
things I want to do is I want to make sure that I am putting it with the grain
that when I line this up my template I'm lining it up with the grain of the
cardboard the way that the cardboard bends and I just line it up
of course it's best if you just do it at the edge line it up with the flat edge
trace around
and then cut this out with your exacto knife so that you end up with a piece
like this here's the step that you don't have to do with the box find your center
point and just take your exacto knife and very gently score the cardboard what
I mean by scoring is that you're making a gentle cut through that first layer of
paper but not through the entire cardboard so that you can then fold it
in half like that and that's all there is to making your very own art easel and

important things regarding this tutorial the first thing is that if you choose to
use the Avery transfer sheets the iron-on transfer sheets just be super
super attentive to whether or not you'll need to flip your image when you're
printing it so for example for this t-shirt I used the Avery iron-on transfer
sheets and it was particularly for dark fabric so I didn't have to I didn't have
to flip or reverse my image at all I could just print it normally and then
just iron it on so the other thing that I wanted to say is that if you do choose
to use the same iron-on transfer sheets that I used it's super important that
you use an inkjet printer and if you don't know what kind of printer to get I
suggest you get this one that I use it's an HP printer it's wireless it's got a
lot of cool features and the link will be down below in the description box so
definitely check it out

How to Make a Perfect Hamburger Patty From Ground Beef - Duration: 2:05.
Hey there! Jacob Burton from StellaCulinary.com and look, if you want to
make a great hamburger, then you need to make your own patties. And it's really
not that scary, it's pretty simple, and a great patty with a great bun equals a
great hamburger. So here I have some ground beef, 70% lean 30% fat, and that fat
ratio is going keep it moist and flavorful during the cooking process.
I'm weighing out an 8 ounce ball, and I'm going to place an 8 ounce ball into a four
and a half inch ring mold, and gently press down using parchment paper.
That's it, it's done, it's formed. That's our 8 ounce Steakhouse burger patty.
Now, if you want a more reasonable size burger, your standard burger size is
going to be 4 ounces and we're gonna do four ounces weighed out of our ground
beef into a four inch ring mold, and then press down using parchment paper.
Now, since this doesn't fill the mold to the top, we're going to use the bottom of a
glass to smooth out the top surface.
Now notice as I am forming and handling these burger, patties I'm being as gentle as
possible. I'm not overworking them and I haven't
added salt during this entire process. That's because overworking the proteins
and adding salt is going to release myosin. The myosin will make the
hamburger meat gluey and force it to stick together giving you more of a
sausage patty like texture, which you do not want in your hamburgers. So no salt
ever, use a gentle touch, and just press your patties gently to form them.
You're going to get the best hamburger patties ever.
Now of course forming the perfect hamburger patty is just the first step
