Why Is This Idle Game SO FUN? | Good Cheap Games: Idle Champions - Duration: 3:32.

I love video games, but I'm a millennial, and that means two things:

Number 1.

I love avocados.

And number 2, I don't have that much spending money because I gotta spend most of my paycheck

on exorbitant housing prices AND AVOCADOS.

So I would prefer to be playing games that are free and interesting and attention grabbin—NOT

THAT ONE.

Everyone knows about that one.

We're not, I'm talking about free-to-play games that people don't know about.

And since time is money, you shouldn't be wasting your time combing through the dozens

of free-to-play games that come out on Steam every week, most of which are not so good.

Instead, let me do the looking, and I'll let you know which free-to-plays you're free to

play.

I have three criteria for what makes a good free-to-play game.

Number 1, is it really free?

Or do you need to buy a bunch of microtransactions to make it even slightly enjoyable.

Number 2, does it work?

Surprise, a lot of them are broken.

Number 3, is it enjoyable for longer than 20 minutes?

Which I think is a totally fair thing for free games.

And of the 12 that I've downloaded in the past hour, not many have passed that test.

Today we're talking about a game from a specific genre that is my greatest vice.

Idle games.

These games rely on your love of watching meaningless numbers slowly tick higher, which

is not something I normally d—38 LIKES ON MY MOST RECENT TWEET!

This weeks F2P you're F2P is Idle Champions from the f... of the Forgotten Realms.

As far as Idle Games go it's pretty standard.

You have champions, you upgrade them, the DPS gets higher, you get more gold, you fight

harder and harder enemies as you go through the waves, and you get more inventory and

*unintelligible* it's an idle game.

But there are two specific things I like about this idle game.

Number 1, you've got a formation that changes with ever new character you put in.

Depending on how you place people and how they "get along" with other characters, the

buffs change the DPS.

And this changes with pretty much every new upgrade every character gets/new character

that you put on the field.

So it's like a slightly more fun version of those logic puzzles that went "If Martha is

seated behind Timothy and Timothy is two seats in front of Jessica and Jessica WON'T STOP

TALKING ABOUT FORTNITE."

Number 2, you lose your upgrades with every new adventure you go on, JUST LIKE METROID.

Take that Nintendo.

Does that sound tedious?

Guess what?

It's an idle game, that's what they do well.

But for real, you get special items as you open chests and defeat bosses, and those carry

on so you get to see your little champions grow up buff and strong every new adventure

you go on, just like my own muscle-y children in the future.

And to be honest, this keeps you pretty interested in the game way longer than you normally would

with most clickers.

I'm still playing this game six hours after I downloaded it.

FUN FACT: One time my roommate in college, NATHAN, woke me up at two in the morning because

he was furiously playing Cookie Clicker, NATHAN.

So there you go.

Idle Champions.

It's one game that I have playtested and it's definitely worth the price, considering it's

FUH FREE.

And that is a free-to-play you're free to play.

I love avocados!

*BUMBUMBUMBUUUUUHHHH*

Zuko don't eat that avocado!. *psst* You got a good cheap game

that you like?

Go ahead and leave it in the comments.

And while you're here, why not go ahead and like and subscribe to Polygon, where I'll

keep you in the loop of good cheap games, and make weird new videos, I don't know why

I winked.

Don't eat avocados Zuko, that's for millennials only.

Why is dry ice so dangerous? - Duration: 0:56.

Why is dry ice so dangerous?

Maybe because it is made by devils.

No.

Dry ice is basically solid carbon dioxide.

The surface temperature of a dry ice block is about -78 degrees Celsius or -109 degrees Fahrenheit.

This means it is much cooler than ordinary ice which is made up of water.

If dry ice comes in contact with our skin, our cells begin to freeze and die within seconds.

Thus giving us severe frostbite.

In addition to this, storing dry ice in airtight containers can be dangerous.

But why?

This is because dry ice sublimates, i.e. it directly gets converted from solid state to gaseous state.

Hence, in airtight containers, the gas produced can build up.

Exert pressure on the walls of container which can lead to a dangerous explosion.

Reporters Att*ck Over Iran, So Trump Unleashes Their Worst Nightmare On Live TV - Duration: 4:48.

Reporters Attack Over Iran, So Trump Unleashes Their Worst Nightmare On Live TV

President Donald Trump held an official press briefing in the East Room of the White House

on Tuesday, announcing his decision to withdraw the United States from the deeply-flawed Iran

nuclear deal.

Almost instantaneously, reporters began to attack him over the move, which will unravel

the very cornerstone of former President Barack Obama's foreign policy.

This prompted Trump to unleash their worst nightmare on live TV.

President Donald Trump announced on Tuesday that the U.S. will withdraw from the Iran

nuclear agreement, which the Obama administration reached in 2015 between the U.S., Russia,

China, Iran, and three European nations — France, Germany, and Britain.

The agreement, the cornerstone of Obama's foreign policy legacy, lifted most international

and U.S. sanctions that were on Iran in exchange for the regime agreeing to restrictions on

its nuclear program and inspections to enforce compliance.

Trump slammed the agreement, saying, "This was a horrible, one-sided deal that should

have never, ever been made."

He added, "The Iran deal is defective at its core."

Citing intelligence surrounding Iran's past nuclear activities which Israel unveiled last

week, the president also claimed there is "definitive" proof that Iran violated

the deal.

Of course, Democrats spent the day fear-mongering in the media and criticizing President Trump

for this decision.

After the president signed the executive order, the press immediately attacked him, asking

how he believed the move would make America safer.

Trump calmly put down his paper, pointed at the insolent reporters, and said something

that stopped them dead in their tracks: "This will make America much safer.

Thank you very much."Of course, former President Barack Obama, who got us into this mess with

Iran in the first place, was not happy as he watched the signature "accomplishment"

of his presidency unravel.

Obama called Trump's decision to pull out of the deal "a serious mistake" and "so

misguided."

Claiming that Iran is complying with the agreement, Obama said that walking away from it "turns

our back on America's closest allies," according to CBS News.

"The reality is clear.

The JCPOA is working — that is a view shared by our European allies, independent experts,

and the current U.S. Secretary of Defense," Obama said in a statement Tuesday, referring

to the agreement's title, the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.

"The JCPOA is in America's interest — it has significantly rolled back Iran's nuclear

program.

And the JCPOA is a model for what diplomacy can accomplish — its inspections and verification

regime is precisely what the United States should be working to put in place with North

Korea," he furthered.

"That was not simply the view of my Administration," Obama said.

"The United States intelligence community has continued to find that Iran is meeting

its responsibilities under the deal, and has reported as much to Congress.

So have our closest allies, and the international agency responsible for verifying Iranian compliance

— the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)."

"We all know the dangers of Iran obtaining a nuclear weapon," Obama added.

"It could embolden an already dangerous regime; threaten our friends with destruction;

pose unacceptable dangers to America's own security; and trigger an arms race in the

world's most dangerous region.

If the constraints on Iran's nuclear program under the JCPOA are lost, we could be hastening

the day when we are faced with the choice between living with that threat, or going

to war to prevent it."

And that, my friends, is what they call "fear-mongering."

For far too long, the U.S. has been far too lenient on nations like Iran which threaten

the safety of Western countries around the world.

After eight years of Barack Obama's pussy-footing around, effectively emboldening rogue regimes,

it was high time that someone took a hard-line stance like the one President Trump has taken.

The U.S. is once again a force to be reckoned with.

Everything We Know About 'Captain Marvel' (So Far) | THR News - Duration: 2:21.

Captain Marvel starring Brie Larson is already in production, and the title hero got a major tease

in Avengers: Infinity War. So, what can we except from Marvel Studios' first female-led feature

film? Well, here's Every We Know About Captain Marvel (So Far).

The latest update: Annette Bening is joining the cast.

The Hollywood Reporter exclusively revealed that the four-time Oscar nominee is signing on

for her first comic book movie. However, details on Bening's character are being kept hidden

for now, but "scientist" is said to be in her job description.

Larson, of course, is starring as Carol Danvers, an Air Force pilot whose DNA fuses with that

of an alien. The film follows Danvers as she finds herself with powers when a galactic war

fought by two alien races (presumably, the Kree and the Skrull) come to Earth.

Now, it seems that the film will take inspiration from the Kree-Skrull War storyline Marvel

published from 1970-71 in Avengers #89 – 97. It went on to become one of the publisher's

most influential arcs. The story saw the two alien races' come to Earth,

as the Avengers, Fantastic Four, Captain Marvel and more tried to keep them at bay.

The movie is set in the 1990s, and will be a blast from the past in more ways than one.

The film will see Nick Fury (aka Samuel L. Jackson) back in action and the return of Clark Gregg's

Agent Phil Coulson, who was the glue of the MCU's early films. The character died in The

Avengers (only to be revived to headline ABC's Agents of SHIELD). He has not appeared in

an MCU film since.

Plus, two Guardians of the Galaxy actors will be reprising their roles from the 2014 film

in Captain Marvel. Lee Pace once again will play Ronan the Accuser,

who in the first Guardians film was a fanatical member of the alien race the Kree.

And Djimon Hounsou will reprise Korath the Pursuer, a mercenary who works with Ronan.

The cast also includes Ben Mendelsohn in a villain role, along with Jude Law, Gemma Chan,

Lashana Lynch and McKenna Grace.

Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck are directing the movie, which is currently in production

in and around Los Angeles. (The project will also shoot in Louisiana.)

Captain Marvel is set to open March 8, 2019.

For the latest updates on Captain Marvel, head to THR.com's comic book movie destination

Heat Vision. And let me know all your theories about we can except from the movie

in the comments. Until next time, for The Hollywood Reporter News, I'm Tiffany Taylor.
