How to Make (Count Back) Change Tutorial 2018 - Duration: 5:02.
Today we're having a garage sale look at all this great stuff I have to offer
well I don't have a cash register how am I gonna know how much change to give
customers when they give me more money than what their items cost stick around
and I'll teach you how
often at garage sales customers will give you the correct change when they
purchase items because the cost is kind of low but if they load up on lots and
lots of your wonderful merchandise sometimes it gets a little tricky to
figure out how much change you owe them when the items add up to save four
dollars and fifty cents and the custom customer gives me a twenty dollar bill
what am I going to do then I don't have a digital readout on a cash register to
help me figure that out old-fashioned cash registers would act
as adding machines and add up prices for the cashier but there was no way to put
in how much money that customer gave you and figure out how much change was owed
to them so there was this method that was called counting back change that
people used to use it's still very helpful today when you're running a
garage sale or just to figure out how much change the cashier should be giving
you basically what you do is take the cost of the item let's see it's three
dollars and seventy five cents the customer gives you a twenty dollar bill
you are having a hard time subtracting three dollars and seventy five cents
from twenty dollars in your head but you don't have to subtract at all when you
count their change
here's a sample of some merchandise that a customer may buy from me at my sale
there is a hat for 75 cents a little dish for another 75 cents so that's a
dollar 50 a cute little snowman dish for a dollar so that brings the total to 250
a nice little pitcher for $2 350 450 and an Oreo mug for 10 cents so their total
is four dollars and sixty cents your item one to four dollars and sixty cents
I do okay twenty four dollars and sixty cents
okay well here's a dime that makes it for 74 75 five dollars
and another five makes it ten and ten makes it 20 thank you okay notice what I
did the first amount I said was the 460 that she owed me and then I kept adding
on money till I got up to the $20 that she had given me so for 60 plus 40 cents
made it $5 another $5 bill made at ten and another $10 bill made it the 20 that
she gave me let's try it again okay this customer has brought up this merchandise
to buy a little snow suit for $2 a set of Christmas placemats for three dollars
so that's five dollars and three of these little stuffed toys which I'm
selling for 25 cents each so their total comes to to plus three is five plus
seventy five cents is five dollars and seventy five cents yam your amount comes
to four dollars and seventy five cents
it's okay I can make change all right $10 your amount is 475 so I'll give you
a quarter that makes it five and $5 makes it the ten you gave me thanks so
much for shopping at my garage sale I hope that this has been a helpful little
tutorial for you on how to count back change
beginning with the amount the customer owes you and then adding on money till
you get up to the denomination or the total amount that was given to you by

Natilla
is a very popular Mexican desert
it's like a very light
puffy
and creamy
pudding
this is how you make it
you pour 4 cups of milk
into a saucepan
add little bit of vanilla
I go for a teaspoon
and set it over medium heat
until you see a thin film
cover the milk
that's actually called "nata"
where the name Natilla comes from
then you turn it off
you don't want the milk to boil
in a separate bowl
whisk 5 egg yolks
add a 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
and mix that up
and then you're gonna add
1 can of evaporated milk
2 tablespoons cornstarch
and then
whisk that
just making sure that
there are no bubbles or lumps
little by little
ladle that hot milk
into the egg yolks
what that does
is help you not to scramble the eggs
then you're gonna pour it
back into the saucepan
cook it over low-medium heat
for another 5 to 8 minutes
don't let it boil
and you have to whisk constantly
once it thickens
gently ladle into ramekins
and sprinkle canela on top
let cool
and serve at room temperature
or refrigerate them for later

part so glad I finally got that out of the way all right you guys well I got a
little bit of an embarrassing story to tell you just happened now you know with
mom passing away I told you that kind of come to you with things I would normally
talk to mom about and usually it's been more upsetting things lately than good
or and I would call mom with some very embarrassing things just to make her
laugh or you know just because she was my friend you you need a friend where
you can share the good bad and the very ugly embarrassing parts so I'm gonna
share this with you guys and it'll kind of be like a lesson learned so if you're
not into those kind of thing videos and yes it I guess fibro does play a part in
it mmm but if you're not up to a storytime then you're not gonna be
interested in this video okay well before I jump in and tell you guys
the story real quick let me just tell you I have a video all set up for you
it's not done being edited and it's very long so I gotta shrink that down and fix
it have it all ready for you so I was supposed to be today Gracie's
birthday party is tomorrow I have a wedding to go to Saturday today is
Thursday so I'm just running around like mad it's been crazy you'll find out why
I felt like hell yesterday oh okay you know you guys know how we kind of talked
about taking the time for yourself like especially since mom has passed I didn't
realize how much of my energy I put into mom and now that she's not here I try to
make the best of it and try to put a little more time into
myself right for those that have been in a tanning bed before I I've tried it out
a few of times I've never I'd never gone regularly because one it's not supposed
to be the healthiest for you especially for those that are that go to the
extreme cause cancer it it seems like everything causes cancer and whatever it
may be okay I used to be one of those that weren't
interested in tanning beds whatsoever just doing outside stuff I could get
pretty dark just naturally I think it's the Indian in me well I have tried it a
few times before summer it always seems to be around like the spring time and I
seen a salon nearby had a tanning bed and I thought oh maybe I should try that
because I remember when I used to be a circuit coach
she also had a tanning bed where curves where I used to work and and because I
helped run that whole deal - she said I was able to use it for free it's like
well I gotta try it so that was my first time I never came out of extreme tan it
just it's more than anything it was relaxing hearing the loud fan and just
falling asleep to that for 15 minutes I I did like that I enjoyed it oh you guys
and I've gone there a couple times now okay so yes day before yesterday I
wasn't feeling so good that night um you know your nerves feel like they're being
pinched I was having that going on quite a bit and it was in strange areas I
didn't understand why I just thought it was the fibroid john bun like that's
really awkward to be there patted on my hips and stuff you got to hear me being
stupid okay well I went in there and the one
thing I did do differently day before yesterday was I thought well
you know if I'm gonna try a tanning bet this time I'm actually gonna try without
getting tan lines which meant no bra straps
yeah no bra no panties yeah anyway I got the sanitizing spray in there so you
spray it all down so you know it's nice and clean and of course you sanitize
after well I hopped in there and as I I wasn't feeling so good and then I
remember I have a friend that has done the tanning bed but she knows all about
it and you know like she has mentioned and
others have mentioned you feel like a tingle get out cousin you could be
getting burned so I was in there I was I wasn't feeling good I'm like you know
I'm just gonna go anyways because you you know we've talked about trying to
make our day better right so I went in there anyways and I was at like 12
minutes 12 13 12 minutes and I was noticing this tingle what the hell
that's odd so I shut it off I'm like okay time to
get out cuz I was afraid of getting burned right well I must have had like a
slight burnt the day before and that's why I was feeling tingles in my butt
like I wasn't like I've never felt before god I hope this is making sense
so here I had a look I looked in the mirror cuz they have this huge mirror in
this little room with the tanning bed in here I was a lobster my butt cheeks my
my ass cheeks looked like tomatoes you know guys it does right now
you don't want to see that let's picture a tomato two Tomatoes a
little lighter in the center those are my butt cheeks you guys it
hurts oh and no skinny mini I got a little bit
of a belly okay you know the little muffin top section lobster that hurts
like hell on top of the fibro stuff that was so stupid of me when I forgot to put
coconut oil on into yeah I've been in a tanning bed before and I know that I
don't I don't get burned I don't ever get burned
because everyone has different skin types right well I didn't think about
those areas that have never seen Sun before dumb so dumb you guys so as I'm
trying to run around get things ready for Gracie's birthday and I'm trying to
get us ready for the wedding Saturday running around with burnt ass
cheeks and a burnt whatever you want to call it vajayjay
yeah well now I can have all you guys laughing I'm not a good storyteller but
that's what happened and it hurts like hell especially on your butt man you sit
it hurts like you guys I'm sure you guys had a sunburn before at one time or
another and the shoulders your face picture it on your butt and everywhere
else oh my god I'm so happy I got out of there when I did cuz if I just tap it it
out but no soon as I felt the tingling I'm surprised I didn't feel it earlier
but when I felt damn like oh I'm getting out of here kind of a silly video you
guys I just you guys are have been my ears kind of
like taking mom's place there and this is something I totally would have called
Mambo nobody knows this except for Nathan and
he died laughing I mean when I showed him and he died laughing I mean he you
got it you know what I'm saying you guys here max speaking of that I'm going in
one sander gets off the bus here I gotta go in and get his medicine so we got
treat that Lyme disease longer for him he's he's not feeling so hot um he's not
like he was before but he's starting with that awful cough it's like a coffin
in a gig it doesn't it doesn't sound good
and you started to shaking a little bit today so I hurry up and got on the horn
with the vet about that so I need to go pick up his medicine and get him started
on that before it gets bad but at least we know ahead of time not like this last
time so I'm just gonna upload this as it is I hope this was okay you guys I hope
you don't mind me sharing I hope you got a good laugh out of it at my expense a
mom would have just laughed so hard I could hear her tearing up and just
laughing you know if someone laughed so hard to get this like they can't breathe
but you kind of hear that I'm trying to catch their breath as they're laughing
that would have been mom on the phone hopefully you'll have that video up for
you tomorrow yeah tomorrow or Saturday the latest that's my goal I got a little
like part-time thing I'm doing online right now too so that's that's been
time-consuming as well so I hope this was okay and before I repeat everything
I've said already I'm gonna let you go let me know how you're doing and have
