Youtube daily what Aug 3 2017

If you have ever seen a movie where there are no cuts, it uses a long take/single tracking

technique.

this technique is used to show a certain moment or to follow someone in real time.

The technique was to be used in Alfred Hitchcock's "Rope" but the camera's that were available

could not hold more than 1000 feet of 35mm film.

So instead they edited to make it look like on shot.

Here is a fragment of the movie "Atonement" where they used this technique.

Andy Warhol and Jonas Mekas, shot the 485-minute-long experimental film, Empire on 10 rolls of film

using an Auricon camera via 16mm film which allowed longer takes than its 35 mm counterpart.

So how do they do this?

For Long Takes they need to setup a route where they will film plus they need the actors

to play their part in a certain place.

It sounds easy but it is quite difficult.

Some scenes that use this technique you might be familiar with is The opening scene of Revenant,

the parade scene in Spectre,The golden watch scene from Pulp Fiction, the coppa cabana

scene in Goodfellas, Kill Bill tracking shot and the Tricycle scene from Shining.

Is this a good technique to use?

Yes.

Like I explained in the beginning it is being used to follow someone or a way to tell a

part.

For another example im using the scene in Kubrick's The Shining where the camera is

following Danny.

The Camera follows Danny to make it more exiting and whenever he goes left or right you think

something will pop up.

Things like Tracking Shots makes the movie more intense and more interesting and makes

it feel more like a story and not just cutting to other scenes.

PANIC When Debbie Wasserman Schultz Sees What the FBI Just Found, She Will Run in Fright - Duration: 12:38.

Trump's New FBI Director Confirmed, But This One Thing About Him Left Democrats STUNNED

Amidst an endless swarm of accusations from the media after the firing of James Comey,

the Senate made a statement Tuesday proving President Trump knew exactly what he was doing.

Christopher Wray, President Trump's pick to lead the FBI, was confirmed in record-breaking

fashion with a landslide victory of 92-5.

This left many popular media outlets and Democratic figureheads with very little to fall back

on, especially when you factor in the sweeping win given to President Trump's nominee.

The only Senators to vote against Gray's nomination were Democrats with a history

of fighting President Trump's administration.

Most Democrats praised Wray as a nominee, saying they believed he would having no issue

operating independently of the President and would make no effort to politicize the bureau.

"It is really important that we have a strong FBI director.

There can be no manipulation," Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) said before the vote.

Sen. Charles Grassley (R-Iowa), the chairman of the Judiciary Committee, said Wray was

"forthright" about how he was vetted for the top FBI job.

It's very difficult to

deny President Trump's true intentions regarding Comey now that the Senate has given such a

unanimous verdict for his replacement.

It speaks to how much a change was needed and

how many

people really

knew it.

President Trump – and the country – clearly needed

a better man for the job, simple as that.

These are the steps necessary for a

fresh

start

in Washington.

Drain the swamp and start again with people who can help move this country forward.

If you're PROUD of President Trump's continued efforts to clean up Washington, SHARE THIS

NOW so the world can see who really

stands

with Trump!

What Is the Best Way to Study the Psalms? - Duration: 0:42.

The best way to study the Psalms, as Psalm 1 verse 2 tells us right at the beginning,

is to meditate on the Psalms.

Poems don't release their richness by one single

quick reading, so we have to read and reread.

The Hebrew word meditate really means mutter or repeat out loud to

yourself and as one goes over and over those Psalms looking for themes, looking

for linguistic patterns, looking for literary shape, more and more depth is

found and more and more blessing I believe is received.

What To Do When You're Sad - Duration: 9:45.

Yo.

I'm sure this lighting is actually horrible but that's alright.

I want to talk about what to do when you're sad.

There's so many times in the past for me when I experienced sadness and then sadness

was this burst of many, many different emotions, thoughts, and feelings like the sadness led

to anxiety and then the anxiety led to 'Holy shit.

I'm going into depression' and I just created story after story after story when

I experienced sadness.

Instead of just feeling sad, I've been bred to believe that we're only supposed to be

chasing positive thoughts and positive emotions and if anything if any one thing else happens

that it's bad and so hard to remove yourself from the concept of good and bad because we're

really were pleasure seekers.

But the truth is that sadness is equal parts to joy and happiness like you can't have

one without the other.

And you can't always have joy.

There's so many painful things in life that call for sadness.

So in the past, when I would feel that sadness, it would really spiral into something else

like I would call it maybe despair or depression and I was almost doing it to myself.

Just going down the spiral of 'Holy shit.

I'm sad.

It must be depression.

It's coming back.

It's getting worse' and over the years, I've just realized that the sadness is really

beautiful.

It's really, really beautiful and I allow myself to experience it now and I go into

it now.

One of the things that I love doing is listening to amazing deep sad music.

Maybe Ludovico Einaudi, he's a pianist.

There's a couple other bands I listen to when I get really sad and I really just feel

the sadness, experience it, release it and it's really nice.

It's actually really strengthening to do that and go into it instead of repressing

it or creating a story around it.

And what happened for me is that I just had The Detox Dudes I had a 17-day meditation

retreat and I also had The Detox Dudes retreat where eight guys and my business partner and

me all came into Portland from around the world.

So I've been around people for the past twenty-five days and then everyone left and

I just felt this sadness like 'Holy shit.'

And today, I came out here to the river by myself to just experience it.

Feel it.

And you know I'll probably cry today and that's okay.

So especially after this retreat, I was just able to see the conditioning at play like

the men are so it's so hard for them to cry especially around other men like we just

have this thing that grips at us before we even if we feel like crying, there's this

thing that grips at us, that prevents us from crying.

It's like an internal voice of 'Man up.

Be strong.

Be tough.'

And that's so detrimental to our process, to our healing process and our awakening.

It's so detrimental because it doesn't allow you to be free of your you know you

pretty much run those programs.

When you experience a trauma or a pain or a sadness and you repress it.

It's like putting twenty pounds of shit in a five pound bag and it just comes out

somewhere else and you almost live through it unconsciously or subconsciously in other

ways throughout your life.

So in order to truly be free and whole, you have to go into those feelings, those old

thoughts, old emotions and we did a trauma release exercise at the retreat and just being

around men who are crying is such a beautiful thing.

It's okay to cry.

And that's one thing, that's one piece of the puzzle that I feel I really want to

convey in my business is that it's okay to cry.

It's totally cool to cry.

It's essential and it's not always about being tough and being a warrior and well part

of being a warrior is actually experiencing emotions but it's not all about just relentless

toughness and repression and manning up and pushing forward.

That's what lead that's part of what has gotten us so sick in the first place so this

isn't really is not just a conversation for men.

It's for women too and by the way, my whole business is equally open to women.

The retreat just so happen to be men but The Detox Dudes is for all women and men 100 percent.

There's ton of women in the Facebook group, it's not just men.

I think a couple people asked me in the past few months 'Hey, is this only limited to

dudes?'

like you know not by any means.

But the retreat just so happen to be men and I was able to see the conditioning at play

and one of the reasons people are so tough externally and I saw this with people at the

retreat is that they are in so much pain.

So the external toughness is literally just like a mask and a coping mechanism of something

deeper, of an inner child inside.

Tony Robbins said it best.

He said 'Heal the boy and the man appears' and that's what I'm trying to do each

day of my life is heal the boy and feel the boy.

So what to do when we have sadness?

Put on some music.

I'll put some tracks in the YouTube channel in the comments in the info section some tracks

that I listen to but you really just want to go into it and feel it.

Without the stories.

Just feeling that sadness.

And chances are you're probably crying.

It's really best to do it somewhere in the wilderness, somewhere safe maybe and if you

have your own apartment, your own house and really just feel it without the stories and

without the narrative and without the gnawing consciousness of 'Be tough' you know.

Give yourself that space.

You deserve it.

So and then you know I've heard this before like just feel it right like feel like it's

in all the spiritual books.

If you're having sadness, just feel it.

What does it feel like?

And you know what?

It really is that simple.

Like sit somewhere away from stimulation, away from the phone, phone's on airplane

mode, computers off.

Somewhere away from it all.

Just go into the core of your being.

Ask yourself: Why do I feel this way?

Why do you feel this way, Josh?

What happened?

What's going on?

Give yourself that space the way you would if a child was running, screaming, running

and crying over to you and saying 'Help me, help me.'

How would you act to that child you know?

Say 'Oh what happened?

Are you okay?'

Talk to yourself like that you know.

'You're okay, man?

What's going on?

Why do you feel this way?

I'm here for you.

What is it that you need to express?

What is it that you need to feel?

What's bubbling?

Just feel.

Just feel.

Drop the stories.

Just go into the feeling.

Feel the little boy.

Feel the kid.

Feel the hurt, the anger, the sadness.

What is it saying?

All right, you guys.

Peace.

Trump Just FIRED Obama's Leftover Staffer After Finding Out What He's Been Doing For Months - Duration: 17:38.

Trump Just FIRED Obama's Leftover Staffer After Finding Out What He's Been Doing For

Months

John Kelly made his way to the White House and dropped the hammer on his first day.

People hit by this hammer no longer have jobs.

That ranges from Anthony Scaramucci (fired) to Obama's leftover Muslim staffer, George

Selim, who resigned right before Kelly arrived.

Kelly is a retired Marine general (served three tours in Iraq) was recently serving

as the Secretary of Homeland Security.

Kelly's new responsibility is the White House Chief of Staff.

Just as Kelly was making his way in, George Selim was making his way out.

Selim was in charge of former President Obama's program that attempted to redirect Islamic

immigrants away from turning to jihad lifestyles that often lead to violence and mass destruction.

That program was listed as "Countering Violent Extremism" and identified by initials CVE

started off as a new way to prevent terrorism, but eventually became a huge failure.

The concept was to attempt redirection of Muslim's to better lifestyles but to encourage

Muslims to report when they notice someone is turning toward evil.

The problem with the program was that government kept spending money on it, but it failed to

yield results.

There was little return on the investment because the Muslim people involved were not

reporting the people who turned to jihad.

This was evident as attacks continued and no one had any intelligence on the attackers.

Had the program been a success, then perhaps the attacks wouldn't have happened.

Those attacks include the brutal shooting at Pulse nightclub in Florida and pressure-cooker

bombings in New Jersey.

Any amount of helping information could've prevented either of those attacks, but the

Muslim people who were involved simply didn't tell authorities about anything.

Of course, it could be that no one knew, but there's usually signs such as weird behaviors

and other indicators that allow people to notice that "something is off" or "something

isn't right" with someone.

Selim probably knew the CVE program wasn't serving its purpose and figured he was on

his way out.

Perhaps he left with dignity as he resigned.

Would he have been fired?

It's hard to say.

Kelly's hard-nosed military experience could've sniffed something strange and fired Selim

and cut off all the Muslim contacts (if any) that were left.

Kelly may have wanted a clean slate with his outlook on combating terrorism.

If any counter terrorism program had to go, then CVE may have been the first to go.

George Selim headed the now-defunct CVE program which tried to offer federal support and legal

autonomy to Islamic political groups if they redirected Islamic immigrants and youths away

from Islamic militancy and jihad.

His resignation spotlighted Kelly's decision to replace Obama's failed policy with more

direct government involvement in Islamic communities.

Kelly may use his new White House job to make his anti-jihad strategy a government-wide

policy.

During his six months at the agency, Kelly apparently discarded Obama's CVE plan and

has shifted DHS attention and funds away from Islamic groups which wanted to prevent FBI

anti-jihad investigations in their Islamic communities.

Instead, the funds and attention will go to police groups that are directly assimilating

Islamic communities into normal American civic society, without relying on the Islamic political

groups, such as the Muslim Public Affairs Council.

Kelly's approach does not believe in delivering money to Muslim groups or people (if that's

what CVE did) who are not properly cooperating or doing their part.

There wasn't a return on investment, or so it seems.

Kelly abandoned CVE when stepped into his role at DHS.

He thought it was better to provide police forces with the funding and have them work

directly with Islamic communities and help with assimilation.

It seems like the shift went from a near secretive relationship with CVE to a more public and

involved relationship with communities and police forces.

If police and people, of any culture, work together to build community relations, then

people typically respect each other more.

Communities who work together, thrive together.

Muslim people sometimes struggle to thrive in America because they're not used to the

different lifestyle and way of life that Americans endure.

A perfect example is that women in America are not forced to dress a certain way or do

things one way or the other.

American women have all the freedom in the country to do whatever they want and dress

however they like.

Women in the Islamic religion are forced to dress a particular way, which is extremely

oppressive to them.

Meanwhile, Muslim men can do as they wish and dress as they like.

One must ask – how is that fair?

Why does a Muslim woman at the beach, in 95-degree heat, have to wear a black garment that covers

her from head-to-toe, while the Muslim man is wearing a comfortable pair of swim shorts

and cool sunglasses.

It doesn't make sense and it's definitely oppressive to Muslim women.

Kelly looks to be a fine addition to Trump's administration.

His version of combating terrorism by building communities might have a longer lasting effect

and certainly be more appealing to all involved.

There's no reason people can't work together

and

make America great again.

What Everyone Should Know About The Menstrual Flow The Female Cycle - Duration: 5:34.

What Everyone Should Know About The Menstrual Flow The Female Cycle

By consciousreminder

ANNELIE SOLIS

Before I begin, this is an article about menstruationbut its not just for women!

Sure, menstruation may seem irrelevant to a man, but its about understanding each

other, and we need more understanding in the world!

This is a topic that men (and women) have shied away from for so long that you kind

of have to wonder, are we overlooking something here?

So if youre one of those who cringe at the mention of period blood or refer

to menstruation only as that time of the month, just relax yourself and read.

For me it started about six months ago when I was sitting on a mountain with a new friend,

quietly breathing in the fresh nighttime air and the vast, moonlit landscape before us.

I looked up.

Ive always appreciated a kind of magic in the subtle movements of the moon: sometimes

a pale ghost in the daylight, sometimes nothing but a smile in the lilac sky after sunset,

sometimes retreating completely into mysterious darkness, allowing the stars to dominate.

Ive known for a long time that symbolically the moon represents feminine energy, which

has been a subconscious theme in my artwork for years now, but I admit that I never fully

analysed the connection.

It was on this night, beneath the ethereal glow of her fully illuminated face, that I

came to consciously understand the significance and depth of that symbol for the first time.

I was soaking in her light, content, when my friend broke my silent admiration to ask

me if I was menstruating (um, why?).

I responded that I was and added a sarcastic fun, right? because you know, who likes

getting their period?

Maybe I thought we would bond a little over this struggle that all women share.

But there was no conversation after that and in the thickness of our silence I became painfully

aware that behind my thoughtless words was a negation of one of the most defining aspects

of the feminine: her cyclical nature.

And there was the link, as stirringly poetic as it was literal: The cycles of life are

reflected in the womb of the female, just as they ebb and flow with the rhythms of the

moon!

This is a realisation that moves me again and again.

What magic!

Over the next couple of weeks that I spent with that beautiful new friend, and with the

help of some books she recommended to me, I began to understand and integrate the implications

of this realisationbeyond just the airy-fairyness of moon magic.

Do allow me to elaborate on what Ive learnt:

Like the phases of the moon (and the seasons of the year) the menstrual cycle also has

four distinct phases: pre-ovulation, ovulation, pre-menstruation, and menstruation.

(If you need a quick biology refresher on the processes of the female reproductive system,

nows the time.)

And during each phase, just like those of the moon, the woman experiences and expresses

different energies.

OVULATION/FULL MOON

Think of ovulation as the full moon, a time of heightened energy and creative power; a

woman has the potential to create new life or new ideas.

Her energy is radiant like the Mother Moon.

PRE-MENSTRUATION/WANING MOON

When the womans hormone levels decrease, like the moons now waning light, her energy

begins descending towards the darkness of its interior: the almost infamous pre-menstrual

phase.

It is a time when logical thinking gives way to emotion and intuition.

MENSTRUATION/NEW MOON

By the time the lining of the uterus has deteriorated and she begins to bleed, its like the new

moon.

It is a time of darkness, reflection, death and cleansing of the old.

Physical energy levels are way lower and she naturally requires more time to rest, sleep

and dream.

Here is the potential for renewal and rebirth.

PRE-OVULATION/WAXING MOON

As the moon begins to show herself again, the womans energy becomes like that of

a virgin, vibrant, refreshed, liberated from her procreative cycle and filled with renewed

focus and passion for life!

And the cycle continues.

To understand how this applies, think about it like this: if an egg is released and fertilised,

the energy is channeled into the creation of a new life.

If, on the other hand, the egg is not fertilised, the same creative energy still exists and

will instead need to be expressed by the woman in some other way.

The idea is to understand the energies of each phase so that they can be expressed positively

and productively, transforming the menstrual cycle (meaning the entire cycle, not just

the time of bleeding) into a source of serious physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, sexual,

and creative energy.

When a woman truly acknowledges her cyclical nature, she recognises that she forms part

of the great rhythms of the Universe, and as such, can act in a way that creates and

radiates harmony!

ARSENAL meet Chelsea in a massive London derby in the FA Community Shield in the annual season curtain-raiser.

The Gunners will be determined to get one over on their London rivals following their bitterly disappointing campaign last term as they finished outside the Champions League places for the first time since Arsene Wenger took charge as manager 20 years ago.

Arsenal finished fifth last season whereas Chelsea clinched the Premier League title for fifth time.

Chelsea will aim to add another trophy to the cabinet as they begin their bid to retain the Premier League title and win it for the sixth time.

Antonio Conte is the fourth manager to win the Premier League in his debut season but will hope to become the first man to win it twice in his first two seasons.

Antonio Conte is preparing his Chelsea side for the defence of their Premier League crown. Arsenal and Chelsea have a rivalry that dates back decades and there is sure to be no love lost between the two London clubs.

What TV channel is the match on?. Arsenal vs Chelsea will be played at 2pm on Sunday August 6.

The Community Shield normally kicks off at 3pm, but this year it has been brought forward an hour to avoid a clash with the Womens European Championship final. Coverage from Wembley Stadium will be shown live on BT Sport.

What is the team news?. Arsenal have no fresh injury concerns going into the fixture but the future of the likes of Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain remains uncertain.

The trio could well be gone by the time this game comes around and the Ox may even be lining up for the blues against Arsenal. Chelsea will likely give competitive debuts to Alvaro Morata and Tiemoue Bakayoko in the London derby.

The blues could also be a key player short come this fixture as Diego Costa is heavily linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge.

Arsenal 2-1 Chelsea : Chelsea fail to do the double as Arsenal win the FA Cup at Wembley.   Arsenal star man Alexis Sanchez celebrates FA Cup win in the dressing.

They even sang "Apgujeong Party Boy."

(They're really singing Jaeseok's song)

I feel like I could be a guest here.

That's how confident you are.

What if they sing my song?

What song?

"Sorry Mom" or "Clover."

If they sing "Sorry Mom," we'll end the entire shoot.

(The shoot ends if that happens)

If they sing "Sorry Mom," we'll shut it all down.

- Automatically canceled. / - Lights out.

New customers.

(Finally some guys)

Some guys!

Spray the rain!

Currently, in 3 rooms

there are two rooms with two girls

and one room with two guys.

(What will the guys choose to sing?)

It's Buzz.

(Sorry, it's our song)

They'll sing our song after Buzz.

They're similar to you guys.

It's that style of music.

It's Buzz.

We're the generation right after Buzz.

We have a chance.

Hongki, I heard you became a vocalist

while at karaoke.

When I first started as a trainee,

I thought I'd be a vocalist for sure.

But our bassist Jaejin wanted to be vocalist too.

And he was the vocalist before I showed up.

After hearing I was the new vocalist

Jaejin didn't want to acknowledge it.

We all went to karaoke after practice.

They asked what I sang at my audition

so I sang "1,000 Year Love" for them.

That was the first song he sang.

That song goes really high.

After I sang that, Jaejin...

He acknowledged you.

He gave in right away.

Can we hear you sing it?

Hold on. "1,000 Year Love."

I can't sing it now.

Bring back those emotions and sing it here.

I don't think he can hit the notes now.

That song is really high even for girls to sing.

(He'll sing the difficult song "1,000 Year Love")

(Can he do it without warming up?)

This song made Hongki a vocalist.

(Let's sit back and enjoy his singing)

(Immediately impressed)

(His voice doesn't waver at all)

(Taewoo gets chills too)

(Amazing singing)

(If you go to karaoke with Hongki)

(It's a treat for your ears)

(A perfect rendition of "1,000 Year Love")

(Amazing)

"You're the vocalist!"

"You stick to the bass!"

Amazing.

That was insane.

I was going to add echo and reverb

but it wouldn't work on his mic.

That was totally his voice.

He could just release it as an album. So crisp.

You got better at singing.

You got better over 10 years.

Many customers have come as we were talking.

The rooms are all full.

Some people come alone to sing.

He's picking.

The popular songs list.

He scrolled past the top 10.

I wish they'd scroll up from the bottom to find me.

They're all picking songs on the list.

Kids these days sing songs off the list.

It's easier to find songs that way.

They only sing from the list.

That's what they all do.

It's "Love Rain!"

(They're at the bottom of the list)

(Will Taewoo be the one to win?)

(Nope)

There are so many songs on the list.

He looks so disappointed.

I can't believe she kept scrolling down past it.

She's past the top 90 songs.

It's hard to make it down that far.

What if they don't sing any of their songs.

We'll just all go downstairs and sing.

We were a bit cocky earlier.

Before we get started...

How could you eat at a time like this?

They're not singing your songs.

Eat up. You'll be waiting a while.

Eat up. I feel like the shoot will go long.

I feel like this is a stakeout.

Can we order black bean noodles?

Fill up on the snacks.

I think we'll have to stay here for dinner.

Noodles will splatter. Can I get sweet and sour pork?

On the side?

Minkyung is high maintenance.

She's on the sensitive side.

It's been an hour so far.

We have 1.5 hours left.

I'll say this again.

This shoot is over if they sing "Sorry Mom."

That's like hitting the jackpot.

- Don't say things like that. / - Sorry about jackpot.

You could've said good news.

- I didn't mean that. / - Watch yourself.

I can't use certain words in front of Yongman.

Suhong said that if someone sings "Sorry Mom,"

he'll forfeit today's appearance fee.

This shoot is over if someone sings "Sorry Mom."

Viewers, as soon as someone sings "Sorry Mom,"

we'll see you on the next episode.

We ask for your understanding.

That girl is here singing alone.

I guess people do come alone.

It's good to come alone.

You don't have to be around a big group.

And you don't have to sing well.

She's putting in the next song as she sings.

She's a multitasker.

That's what happens when you come alone.

She's putting in the next song as she sings.

It's a waste to search for songs in between singing.

(Picking the next song)

FT, FT.

(They get another chance)

(It's for real this time)

(What happened?)

(Pass)

They passed it.

He's playing hard to get.

Go to 91st!

He's going to 91st. "Love Rain." "8282"

Just sing "8282." Please.

Here it comes.

(Almost there)

(Will the first one be Davichi?)

(Fail)

You can't just pass by "8282."

(Will he choose "Love Rain?")

(Going straight down)

(Will it be "Love Rain?")

(Skip)

They passed "Love Rain."

(So much for their chance)

They're singing Park Myungsoo's song.

- What song? / - "To Fool From Fool."

They even picked Myungsoo's song!

Yet no songs by Taewoo, god,

FT Island or Minkyung.

Room 1 is singing "Playing With Fire"

and so is room 2.

(They're all singing "Playing With Fire")

(They're on fire)

Now you'll have to think about using a chance.

What's available?

A chance to sing in the next room.

So they'll want to sing the same song.

Another is flashing the faces of our guests on screen.

They'll see god on their monitors?

- There's a huge chance. / - What is it?

You can reserve songs remotely

right from the counter.

You can add your song to their list of reserved songs.

One person says, "Is this your song?"

The other will say, "No, it wasn't me."

They could end up singing it or canceling it.

They could cancel the song.

That would really hurt your pride.

That sounds worse!

That would really sting if they cancelled the song.

It's hit or miss.

We'll let FT Island use a chance first.

(FT Island will use their first chance)

What sounds like the best one?

Singing in the room next door.

They sang "Playing With Fire" after hearing them.

That's how it works.

Which one do you want?

Room next door.

Here we go. (Please!)

Let's go!

(What will it be?)

I feel nervous about this.

3. (Sing your song in the room next door)

(Yongman gets the right one)

As expected! (The hands of god)

Don't say things like that. I got lucky.

I don't have innate skills.

We got it for our hard work.

Amazing. As expected.

(She can't hold back her laughter)

I don't know if we should congratulate him.

Anyway, I'm thankful.

So Hongki and Jonghoon will go to the next room.

Sing loudly.

Don't get caught on the way.

I'm really curious to see what happens.

I think they'll end up singing what he sings.

You end up singing what you hear next door.

But Hongki's so good they might start to listen.

- That could happen. / - Since he's great at singing.

What We Can Learn From The Departed In Spirit - Duration: 5:17.

What We Can Learn From The Departed In Spirit

By consciousreminder

Perhaps they are not stars in the sky, but rather openings where our loved ones shine

down to let us know they are happy. Eskimo Saying

When you lose a loved one it can feel like a part of you has also died.

You may not feel like yourself or you may be in a complete state of shock before you

can move through any other emotions.

You may wonder if the grief will ever go away.

You may also wonder if your loved one is okay on the other side and if he or she is still

suffering.

You may also wonder if your loved one is perhaps still around in Spirit and how you can communicate

with him or her.

These are some of the common concerns and emotions of my clients in my work as a professional

intuitive and spiritual medium.

I never dreamed that I would be a medium but when you hear the call to your purpose you

have two choices: 1.

Run or 2.

Answer.

I decided to answer and embrace my gifts as a medium.

As years have progressed in my career, most of my clients seek to connect with their loved

ones who have crossed over.

They come in seeking guidance, answers or closure.

I dont prey on peoples vulnerabilities and always honor my work as a medium.

It is a sacred practice and experience for me and the client.

From my years of doing readings, there are some common universal messages I have noticed

spirit loved ones want to give to their family or friends.

They may communicate to simply say, Im proud of you or I love you. Other

times if the relationship was challenging they come back asking for forgiveness and

express remorse for their behavior and actions.

A story I will never forget: A client came in once and her ex-boyfriend who passed away

came through profusely apologizing to her for how abusive he was.

Prior to our appointment she had trouble sleeping and nightmares from that relationship for

many years.

After our appointment, a year later she came back and told me that her nightmares stopped

immediately after our initial appointment and she had finally met a man who she absolutely

adored and who adored her.

I was over the moon happy for her and for the powerful work Spirit had done to bring

her the peace she needed.

You see, when we cross over to the afterlife and evolve, we change too.

We see life differently and reflect on how we lived.

Spirit will go through a life review and sometimes work through karmic scars such as in the case

with my client and her ex-boyfriend to try to fix what was done.

Your spirit loved ones will try to repair the past as best they can, guide you to fulfill

your dreams, and send you messages along the way to show they are still around.

Here are some universal signs and messages the departed want you to know:

They can absolutely hear your thoughts about them and will try to respond in a way that

will resonate most with you.

They are around helping and guiding you in your journey and want to see you happy.

They send people as angels to look out for you in their place.

Did someone come into your life shortly before or after your loved one passed?

He/she may be an angel sent from your loved one to help you in this transition.

They are okay and not suffering.

They are restored to full health and life upon transition and no longer carry the body

they once had.

They will visit you in your sleep and send you messages in your sleep.

If it felt real, it was.

They may send you reoccurring special dates or number sequences related to them such as

their birthday or anniversary to catch your attention.

They may also send you gifts through people.

For example, a clients daughter who passed said she would send a puppy as a gift to her

brother and that would be her gift to them.

Shortly before her birthday a co-worker surprised her with a puppy that her son absolutely loves.

If you are wondering if your loved one is around, try asking.

For a few minutes before you start your day ask him or her to show you a sign or send

a message that he/she is still around.

Trust and be open to the possibilities.

You may even want to light a candle or send out your thoughts to them that you are thinking

of them.

Be open to the magic of receiving a message back.

There are no coincidences.
