Q: And mainly what is the right policy towards Russia, given about it completely violates international law, wages cyberwar

and threatens its neighbours?

Well, as someone who is still banned from Russia, I think that Canada's

outspoken defense of Ukraine's right to exist, to have sovereign borders that -

and sovereignty in general - Canada must always be a passionate voice for that, and I think any conversation with the Putin regime has to begin

with a very

important principle that I think was summed up

very eloquently and very simply when the previous Prime Minister told Vladimir Putin to get out of Ukraine; and when that happens,

you know, I think the relationship between the two countries can start to address other aspects more meaningfully.

But obviously there are a lot of concerns about

regional instability

and the Conservative Party is very concerned about that and would like to see

more action by the Liberal government to stand up for those important principles

and to take it more seriously.

One of the things I'm very,

very disheartened by is the "go-along-to-get-along" attitude of the Liberals when it comes to

appeasing the Communist regime in China with the sale of Norsat, with the

indications that they're looking to normalize

relationships with Iran, and the way that they handle the

Russian question, that they're not being guided by fundamental principles and standing up for what's right,

regardless of the consequences, they really are looking for -

you know, like I said, going along to get along.

And I don't - I think more and more Canadians are realizing that we don't have a principled foreign policy.

Q: Canadians' current sanctions regime - ease it or toughen it?

I think it's important that we send clear signals to Russia and that our sanctions, to have practical effects, that they actually do what they're

looking to do. It was a Conservative caucus that led the fight for the Magnitsky Act and making sure that

officials were able to be held [to] account on a world stage for the actions that they did in Russia.

So those are the types of things that the Conservative Party has always fought to have a robust set of sanctions that are not just

symbolic, that are not just an expression of our opinion, but that actually have an effect and would encourage

the Putin regime to change their path.

Life Update: JLPT, 30th Birthday, New Job & General Catching-Up - Duration: 9:06.

Hello, it's been about six months since my last video. I think it was back in January. So maybe closer to seven months now

Anyway, it's been a while, and I didn't really plan on

taking a break from YouTube or quitting youtube I just haven't really felt

particularly motivated to make videos recently

I think sometimes it can be a bit of a faff to you know carry the camera around stop to make sure you get a

good shot of something or

You know that kind of stuff and sometimes

it's nice to just live in the moment and enjoy what you're doing rather than recording everything

But then on the other hand it is nice to have these kind of videos

to have these memories to look back on I do really enjoy

looking back over

my old videos and remembering the good times I've had, the people I've met, the places I've been to

so I thought it would be quite nice to try and get back into it again and

maybe start recording a bit more regularly, but in the meantime

I just wanted to give kind of a quick life update talk a bit about what I've been doing since my last video

what I'm doing at the moment and what I'm going to be doing going ahead from here

I suppose so going back to January just after I made my last video the JLPT results came out. I did take the JLPT

for the second time, I took N2 last December

and I actually passed this time which was nice was very narrow pass only passed by one point

but a pass is a pass, and it was nice to finally

tick that off of my list of things I wanted to do

Yeah so passed the JLPT, that was good, and then in March

I had my 30th birthday, which I guess is kind of a milestone birthday

I actually had a really nice time celebrating my birthday. I hired a boat

I'll put a link to the website where I hired the boat from down below. Might seem a bit extravagant hiring a boat

but actually if you have a decent number of guests

I think if you have at least 20 guests - closer to 30 will probably be better

and if you can divide the cost equally between everybody who attends then it actually works out to be quite a reasonable price

I think for

my party it worked out to be about

2500 per person which really isn't that bad?

I mean if you think if you hired an izakaya

or went to karaoke or something people probably spend about the same amount of money. So went out on the boat, cruised around

Tokyo Bay, Odaiba and the Rainbow Bridge. It was in theevening as well

so it was really nice to enjoy the illuminations, and it was a really memorable

birthday party Perhaps the most memorable I've had, a really good time really grateful to all my friends who came along and

celebrated with me.

I didn't really take much in the way of video

I'm not sure if I took any video actually I took a few photos. I've put a few of those up now

and my friend

Ronin Dave, he actually took a really nice video. So I'll put a link to that down below as well

if anybody's interested to see the boat party.

So just after my birthday still in March around the middle of March I actually

quit my old job which I'll talk a bit more about in a while, but I quit my old job and I had a

space of about a week between quitting the old job and starting my new job

So I went to Fukuoka for a few days. It was my first time in the city

really enjoyed it. I didn't plan the trip very well, so I didn't get to do all of the things I wanted to do

It was just a little solo trip. Just wanted a change of scenery really, so I went down there and

the weather was kind of rubbish, but even so it was a really nice time, got to see some interesting places

and I got to meet some of my online friends, some of my Twitter friends

for the first time so it was really nice to hang out with them in real life

And yeah, nice trip overall.

I would definitely like to

go back there and see the rest of the things I wanted to see do the rest of the things I wanted to do

and just generally spend some more time in

Kyushu explore that part of Japan a bit more I think.

And so towards the end of March just after I came back from Fukuoka

I started my new job

And it was this strange to be suddenly working in a new job after spending pretty much my entire time

I've been in Japan working my previous job, started there

I think it was

the month after I arrived, and so I was working there for over two years it was pretty much the only constant in

my life since I've been here. I've obviously moved around a lot, people have come and gone

but my job was always pretty much the same, pretty consistent, so to suddenly be kind of uprooting

myself and working in a different environment with different people doing a slightly different kind of work

was a big adjustment to make, it was a lot to get used to. I am still teaching English still teaching eikaiwa

but the new place is a much smaller company and also, I'm working mostly with kids now whereas before I was working

mostly with adults, so it's a different kind of

teaching, a different kind of environment to be teaching in and

it was pretty tough at first

it was kind of exhausting and I was a bit worried. Maybe I made the wrong decision

maybe this isn't the right kind of teaching for me, but now I've been working there about five months

and I do feel like I'm settling in a lot more and enjoying the job a lot more and

yeah, it's going pretty well. Seems to be a pretty good company to work for so I'm happy on that front, and the money is

a bit better as well, which is also nice.

Yes, I think that's about everything of note that I've been up to recently

I'm taking a bit of a break from roller derby as well

just wanted to work on my general fitness a bit more because I feel like I'm a bit out of shape

and being out of shape, I kind of feel like the risk of injury is a bit higher.

So I just wanted to take a break from that

work on my overall fitness levels

and then hopefully go back in a few months time. So in the meantime

I have very recently been getting into

bouldering, which I've always wanted to try but just never got around to doing until very recently and

I'm still pretty terrible at I'm a complete beginner, but it's a lot of fun

and I want to try and keep it up. Looking ahead a little bit now over the next couple of weeks

I'm on my vacation at the moment, my summer holiday, summer vacation

which is another nice perk of the new job - didn't get a summer vacation in my previous job.

This weekend. I've actually got a work event

I'm going to summer camp up in Nagano with some of the kids.

Should be...

I'm imagining it's going to be pretty exhausting, but hopefully a lot of fun as well.

Should be an interesting experience at least, I've never really been on a summer camp before so

looking forward to that.

And then when I get back from that, I'm also going to Yamanashi for a couple of days with a friend.

Never been there before, so again, get to see a new place do some new things, should be nice.

And I'm also planning another trip for the following weekend

haven't really finalized the details or decided where I'm going to be going yet?

but again, should be nice to get out of Tokyo do some exploring and

yeah, just have a change of scenery.

I suppose maybe I'll try and make some videos while I'm out and about as well. We'll see.

And then oh another thing is I'm going to be moving out of this place pretty soon.

I actually went to view another share house quite nearby. I think it's only a couple of kilometers away

It's like two stops along the same train line

So I went to view that this morning, and I submitted my application

to move in just over a week, so next weekend. I think the contract on this place

actually lasts until the end of the month, so I've got like a two-week

crossover period to move on my stuff, so

that's going to take a lot of the stress of moving away, hopefully.

Of course the downside is I am paying rent on two places for a couple of weeks

so going to be a bit of a tight month financially next month.

But hopefully should be worth it, the new room seems really nice.

It's a bit smaller than this room, but it's got a private kitchen which is a nice bonus

should be able to do some cooking and

stuff in my own room

Yeah, very convenient. And looking a bit further ahead, my current visa expires in December

I am hoping to renew it again

be it for one year or three years kind of seems to be luck of the draw when it comes to immigration

in terms of what length of visa you get, but I do want to stay here a bit longer, so

fingers crossed I will be able to do that. Anyway

I'm going to wrap this up here, if you made it to the end of the video

thank you for watching and hopefully I'll see you soon. Take care. Bye!

#ThePLAN for the Globe Philippine Volcanoes is to rise up | #Scenezoned - Duration: 6:04.

I'm Chris!

And this is Evan of the Globe Philippine Volcanoes Rugby Team.

We're about to embark on a meaningful adventure

with one personal mission.

Say hello!

8 Stories.

8 Journeys.

#ThePLAN is to get

Scenezoned.

The Philippine Volcanoes has been around since 1999

and we were granted full World Rugby membership in 2008.

At first people doubted us,

questioned our capability to power through

the biggest leagues in the world

But we held on to our team's vision.

And it has always been to make

rugby a recognized and popular sport in the Philippines,

played by Filipinos.

With our triumphs,

we aim to put the Philippines on the World Rugby map.

Aboard this Philippine Airlines

direct flight to Tacloban City,

we heard about this new beach that emerged after the storm:

Yolanda beach.

In 2013,

Tacloban was hit by the strongest storm in the country's history.

But its people have displayed the strongest will

to rebuild their lives.

Recovery efforts in communities are showing signs of progress.

In that same year,

the Volcanoes experienced painful losses

in the Asia Rugby Championships.

Since then, we've been training hard and rebuilding

the team on the road to the 2020 Olympics.

And that's gotta be #ThePLAN:

to rise up, and come back stronger and better.

We have 2 rugby clinics coming up!

One in Yolanda Beach,

and another in Tacloban.

Our first impressions as we walked

through the gate down to Yolanda beach

was pure amazement.

We couldn't believe that the typhoon created this natural beauty. .

The landscape, the limestone rocks and caves

were all just breathtaking in a way.

We just jumped into the rock pool and

we threw the rugby ball around.

Really enjoying, aren't we?

That's it! Get into it guys.

I'm here swimming the caves of Yolanda beach

looking for the native volcano.

Wooh! There it is.

Just hanging out with your mate to share

in a magnificent and a beautiful place,

it's wonderful.

We got to meet Mayor Mergal.

When Yolanda came, it was named after her

because it was made even more beautiful by typhoon Yolanda.

What's the secret to

building a successful recovery program?

We test our plans through community drills

which is one of the most important elements

when it comes to disaster response and recovery.

It's the same parallels to how you work with your teammates.

You just have that, that feeling of unity.

That's how you build something great.

We're here on Yolanda beach.

We just started the Philippine Volcanoes Rugby clinic

with all the kids here, and I think

we've got some potential Rugby stars,

potential Volcanoes in the making.

We started with some basic stretches

and basic warm up activities

which is nice to bring people together really quickly.

Then we moved into some simple drills

and then the guys did it really well.

It goes to show communication and language

not necessarily has to be words.

We're still able to communicate the sport of rugby.

When the rain started to pour, we thought

"Hmm... are we still gonna keep doing this?"

but they were still going in harder and faster

so we just let it go.

These guys are getting involved and engaged

and they want to learn something.

They wanted to release something.

So we put the kids there, they all got in.

We put our hands together.

Just having something as symbolic as a huddle,

that was more special than anything.

Maybe rugby can make a difference in this community.

It's all about them.

We might come back here in five years and those kids will be playing.

Some great rugby players might come from this area.

And I think that for these kids

sports is the foundation for them to rebuild their lives.

After that clinic in Yolanda Beach,

we go to the heart of Tacloban

for some more rugby fun.

We're here in Kawayan Village

and it's a little bit rainy today but I'll tell you what,

the energy's incredible.

The kids are here, they're responding

and it is so much fun right now, isn't that right Chris?

Right, we're gonna make our own sunshine here

on the basketball court.

We're gonna run our Rugby clinic, it's gonna be wonderful!

Let's get into it!

Let's do it!

We didn't know really what to expect

but we got such a warm reception from the kids.

They were curious,

they'd come over and they wanted to interact.

And if you interact with them,

you know it just creates —

moments.

(Arthur) Nakatira ngayon dito is 477 families.

Kahit papaano, nakakaraos din naman kami.

We learned so much about what it takes to

run this and build this village

up to where it is now

'cause it literally came from nothing.

It is such a team community effort

that we were just in awe of.

'Pag naturuan sila nang maayos,

paano maging isang team —

'dun magsisimula ang katatagan.

Kagaya ng community namin

na nandoon 'yung pagkakaisa.

Rugby is about team

and to see them enjoy themselves together

and with a new sport,

really brought a smile to our faces.

This is the most important thing —

it's to be with these kids.

It's about being present

and also sharing what you have

but you just do it because you see a lot of love and joy in it.

I was so impressed by

the unity of the community that helped to

rebuild this place.

The unique situation with Yolanda,

a community that's basically trying to survive.

And to see where they are now

is just such a credit to everyone involved.

We came to Yolanda Beach and Tacloban

hoping to encourage them through rugby

but what we have witnessed,

that commitment to bounce back,

moved us.

We go back home

filled with more reasons to keep fighting.

Don't forget to subscribe to this channel

Manchester United line-up for 2017-18: How Jose Mourinho could set out his team next season - Duration: 9:22.

Manchester United line-up for 2017-18: How Jose Mourinho could set out his team next season

MANCHESTER UNITED have spent almost £150million this summer to sign Romelu Lukaku, Victor Lindelof and Nemanja Matic. But Jose Mourinho's spending isnt likely to stop there. Jose Mourinho is wasting no time in strengthening his Manchester United squad.

United have already forked out £75million to bring Romelu Lukaku to Old Trafford. The Red Devils are believed to be on the brink of completing a £40million-plus deal for Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic.

They also continued to be linked with a move for Paris Saint-Germain right-back Serge Aurier. Meanwhile, there could also be one or two departures from Old Trafford.

Winger Ashley Young has been targeted by Stoke City while Chris Smalling is interesting Arsenal. And with that in mind, United could be looking like a new look side.

Our friends at Football Whispers have taken a look at how United could line up this coming season.

Manchester United want to sign Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan.

United have spent £40m on Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic.

Goalkeeper – David de Gea. United had to fend off interest from Real Madrid for the second time in three years to hang onto de Gea this summer, and the European champions might yet make another attempt to sign the Spanish No.

But keeping de Gea is crucial for the Red Devils. As one of the best goalkeepers in the world, he transmits confidence and calmness throughout the team. David De Gea looks set to be staying at Manchester United.

United have purchased Swedish defender Victor Lindelof from Benfica.

Eric Bailly enjoyed an impressive first campaign at United last season. Right-back – Antonio Valencia.

Converted from a winger into a full-back, Valencia was a revelation for United last season, producing the best form of his career and developing into one of the best right-backs in the Premier League.

Strong on defence an effective on attack, the Ecuadorian contributed one goal and three assists last term. Aurier is seen as long-term replacement for Valencia, although he would rotate with the fan favourite.

Centre-back – Eric Bailly. Arriving from Villarreal as a relative unknown with a £30million price tag, eyebrows were raised when Bailly signed for United last summer.

But he 23-year-old Ivory Coast defender has impressed at Old Trafford with his speed, athleticism and commitment, and looks to have all the tools to form the bedrock of the Red Devils' backline for years to come. Centre-back – Victor Lindelof.

First linked with a switch to the red side of Manchester in January, Lindelof had to wait until the summer to become a United player, signing from Benfica in a £31million deal.

Physically strong, fast and good in the air, Lindelof's biggest strength is his outstanding forward passing. The 23-year-old Swede completed 89.9 per cent of his passes in the Portuguese Primeira Liga last season. Left-back – Luke Shaw.

Shaw endured a difficult 2016/17 campaign, with injury and poor form seeing him fall out of favour with Mourinho, making just nine Premier League starts.

Currently injured, the 21-year-old left-back is said to have impressed the manager with his commitment and work ethic in recent weeks and will be given the chance to deliver on his enormous potential in the coming season.

Big things are expected of Paul Pogba again this season.

United are closing in on a deal for Inters Ivan Perisic.

Romelu Lukaku has already netted his first goal for United. Right central midfield – Ander Herrera. Voted United's Player of the Year last season, Herrera is a fan favourite who has become increasingly important to Mourinho's side.

No Premier League midfielder could beat Herrera's average of three interceptions per 90 minutes in 2016/17. He also led 20-time champions in assists last term, creating six league  goals, a figure only Anthony Martial could match. Central midfield – Nemanja Matic.

Acquiring a new defensive midfielder was one of Mourinho's priorities this summer and he turned to a familiar face to fill the position.

The Portuguese coach won the Premier League with Matic anchoring the Chelsea midfield in 2014-15 and the Blues' capture of Tiemoue Bakayoko meant that the Serbian enforcer was surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge.

Matics arrival will allow Pogba to play further forward – where he can cause more damage – and allow Herrera to play a more box-to-box role.   Heres our player profile of new Manchester United star Victor Lindelof.

Left central midfield – Paul Pogba.

Pogba came in for a lot of criticism for his performances last season, but the world's most expensive player was excellent for much of the campaign and produced a healthy return of nine goals and six assists in all competitions.

With a specialist defensive midfielder behind him the 24-year-old is expected to build on his first campaign back at Old Trafford to fulfil his immense potential in 2017/18. Right wing – Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

After being exiled from the first-team squad following a disappointing display against Manchester City in September, Mkhitaryan recovered to become a key player in United's Europa League triumph.

The 28-year-old Armenian creator bagged six goals in the Europa League last season, including an overhead kick in the final against Ajax.   Manchester United beat LA Galaxy 5-2 on their tour of the USA.

Left wing – Ivan Perisic. United are on the verge of completing a move for Perisic for a fee which could total more than £40million.

The Croatian winger is hard-working and offers cover to his full-back, as well as being effective in attack, contributing 11 goals and eight assists in Serie A last season. Centre-forward – Romelu Lukaku.

In the biggest deal of the transfer window so far, United moved quickly to snap up Lukaku, who had been a Chelsea transfer target. The Powerful Belgian striker will replace Zlatan Ibrahimovic at the point of the attack.

With 26 league goals and a conversion rate of 22 per cent, Lukaku was a much more efficient finisher than the enigmatic Swede last season, who took just 15 per cent of his chances.

Keep up to date with all the latest news, gossip, rumours and done deals in SunSport's live transfer blog.   Manchester United new boy Romelu Lukaku is really competitive with Paul Pogba.

Celebrity Big Brother SHOCK as 2017 line up sees lowest ratings ever - Duration: 2:33.

Celebrity Big Brother SHOCK as 2017 line up sees lowest ratings ever

Reality TV giant Celebrity Big Brother suffered a blow after the summers edition launch show was watched by the lowest numbers in its history.

According to Tellymix, the landmark 20th series of the once-hit show opened to an average audience of just 1.8million viewers, down from the 2.4m who tuned in to see last summers launch.

More embarrassingly for Channel 5, 2.1m viewers chose to tune into documentary Old Peoples Home for Four Year Olds over on Channel 4. Channel 5 SWITCH OFF: Viewers have lost interest in CBB.

WENN LOW: Not even telly favourite Emma Willis could boost ratings. This ratings disaster comes after the civilian version of Big Brother was trounced by ITV2 summer smash Love Island in the ratings.

While nearly 3m of us tuned in to see the loved-up antics in the Mallorcan villa, BBs ratings dipped to all-time lows – with some episodes drawing less than 600,000 viewers.

Bosses have pulled out all the stops for this years edition, with a whole host of famous faces heading to the Borehamwood mansion.

WENN WINNER: More tuned in to see Stephen Bear win the show.

Channel 5 EX FILES: Bears ex Jemma has gone in this year.

Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding, Ex on the Beach star Jemma Lucy and Shaun Williamson, also known as Barry from EastEnders, have all hit the house. But the series has already been rocked by controversies.

Shauns secret task upon entering, where he had to convince fellow co-stars he was the most nervous housemate, was branded a fail on social media after his earpiece malfunctioned.

WENN BIG NAMES: But Sarah Harding entered CBB to the lowest viewing figures ever. The show also suffered an epic blunder when they played the wrong song for Jemma Lucy before entering the house.

And former Love Island star Paul Danan prompted a house evacuation on its opening night after setting off the fire alarm. Daily Star Online has contacted a spokesperson for Channel 5 for comment.
