Here at Hilti, we provide you with many options for controlling concrete dust on the job site.

Our dust removal systems, or DRS, work with a wide range of our products.

In this video, we will show you how to use your Hilti AG 600-A36 and corded grinders

in conjunction our grinding hoods and vacuums.

Please refer to OSHA table 1, section 12 for respirator use guidelines in this application.

This process is the same for all of the tools you see here, regardless of guard size.

Begin by removing the battery or unplugging the tool from power.

Step 1: Remove the metal cutting guard from the tool, if already attached.

Note, the AG 450 guards utilize a latching mechanism to attach.

Here's how to release it.

Step 2: Line up the grinding head notches with the notches in the head of the tool and

press the guard into the tool.

The vacuum adapter should face away from the tool initially.

Step 3: Press the black tab on the side of the head and rotate the grinding guard counterclockwise

until the vacuum adapter is nearly parallel to the tool.

Release the black tab to lock the guard in place.

Step 4: Thread on the grinding wheel and tighten with your hand until snug.

Press the red brake button to help keep the cup wheel from turning as you tighten.

Step 5: Screw the handle into the head of the tool.

Attach it on the opposite side of the vacuum adapter.

Step 6: Attach the vacuum hose to the shroud.

Once the system is assembled, turn on the vacuum then the tool to begin use.

Please refer to OSHA Table 1 when selecting a vacuum system.

You must use a vacuum that meets the requirementof 25 cfm of suction per inch of grinding wheel.

For example, a 5-inch grinding wheel requires 125 cfm of suction.

The GTI - Everything You Need To Know | Up To Speed | Donut Media - Duration: 6:16.

Toyota, Datsun, Pinto, Vega, Honda, Fiat were all considered...

the Volkswagen Rabbit made it.

It's the best car in the world.

It's an everyday hero, an affordable, sensible family car that still conquers tracks across

the globe.

It's the car that Volkswagen didn't even want, that now defines their brand.

It invented the whole idea that a car could be cool without costing you a mortgage.

If you're on a budget, it's awesome; if you're not, it's still awesome.

Jeremy Clarkson said that this is one of the most influential cars ever.

I would wack myself with excitement.

I've owned 12 of them.

Someone's not counting!

This is everything you need to know to get up to speed on the Volkswagen Golf GTI.

C'monnnn... family hatchback, a legend?

Really James?

Really?

Well, yes, smartass.

See, back in the 70s you could buy either an affordable car or if you were rich, you

could buy a high end sports car like a Ferrari or Lamborghini, all that good stuff.

But for the working man a Ferrari wasn't really an option.

A car within reach looked something like this: a Volkswagen Beetle.

Which sucks.

Yeah I know people like them and I'm gonna get flamed for that, but they suck.

Sure, it's cute, cus it looks like a bug, and it's like an icon, but for somebody who

loved to drive, hit the open road or wind through a canyon the Beetle...

I'm trying to think of the right word here... sucks.

Volkswagen had their own problems with the Beetle, namely that by the 70s it was already

40 years old.

Awwwww, you fu--

World War 2 hadn't even started when the first Beetle rolled off the assembly

line.

And here they were, still selling them.

They needed a new car to replace it, something affordable, yet sexy - like me.

So in 1974 they finally released the Golf.

It looked good!

Had a nice little efficient engine, surprisingly roomy, it was a good car.

People liked it.

It sold pretty well.

Volkswagen was happy.

And yet the Beetle refused to die.

Even with the Golf on the market the Beetle just kept on chugging.

Enter Anton Conrad, quite possibly the most important marketing executive of all time.

See he had this crazy notion that maybe average people might like a fast car.

Weird!

Specifically looking at the youth market, Conrad pitched the idea of a high performance

variant of the Golf.

Basically same car; bigger engine.

Mm, recipe for success.

What did Volkswagen say?

No.

Volkswagen didn't think there was enough of a market there.

And besides that, the Golf was never designed to be a performance machine.

In response: Conrad did it anyway.

He f*** you Dad, I'm my own man!

Dad, what about you!

F*** you!

Working with a 6 man team, he shoved a 1.6 liter in-line 4 that developed 110 horsepower

into the Golf.

Hey, I'll admit, 110 horsepower doesn't sound like a lot, but this was 1975 we're talking

about, people were using rotary phones, and this car is tiny!

You ever seen a Mk1 Golf?

The result was a sensation, Volkswagen only planned to make 5000 GTIs, by the end of the

original run they made 420,000! 420 dudeeee.

The Golf GTI handled well, it drove fast, and still had as much space and sensibility

as the base model.

Cool didn't have to live on a poster anymore, anyone could drive it!

And oh yeah - it killed the bug.

In 1979 the Beetle finally ceased being sold in the United States.

Although we should mention this awesome 70s GTI we're talking about never sold in the

United States.

America got a variation called the Rabbit GTI, which didn't have the European engine,

which means instead of 40 more horsepower than the base model, it got 1 more.

One.

One horse.

Sorry America.

Sorrrry.

But the little hatchback that could wasn't content to just be a great car, it went on

to change the entire industry, and the world.

For one thing, to help produce the Golf, Volkswagen bought an old Chrysler plant in Pennsylvania.

This was the very first time a foreign auto manufacturer opened up operations in the US,

which paved the way for many others for years to come, helped the US economy.

Boom.

More broadly, the GTI is the car that brought cars out of the 1970s funk.

Up to its release, the energy crisis of the time and a general economic... forced all

vehicles to get smaller, duller, and more boring.

The GTI was a shot of adrenaline in the arm of the whole industry and led to the performance

car renaissance of the 1980s, right on through to today.

Icons like the Skyline GT-R, Mazda MX-5 can trace their routes back to the GTI's idea

of speed machine for the people.

Even if you've never wanted a GTI, odds are, there's a car out there that you did want

that only exists today because of it.

That means anytime you see a GTI on the road, you're looking at a hero.

You owe your life to dental hygiene.

And if you drive a GTI, you're a hero too.

And it's won pretty much every award from pretty much every car magazine on the planet.

Oh and one other thing - over the years it's sold 2 million units!

One million - 2 frickin' million, idiot!

That's how a people's car becomes a legend.

It's like The Rock of cars.

You like a Focus ST?

Thank the GTI.

And the Mk1 was just the beginning.

The Mk2 saw the introduction of a twin-cam, 16 valve engine, and got Recaros.

The Mk3 got the VR6, a 2.8 liter narrow-angle V6, with 172 horsepower and one of the sweetest

exhaust notes in the history of cars.

Mk4 got the 20 valve 1.8 T, nevarlose.

Mk5 was ugly, and got independent rear suspension, the 2 liter TSI and plaid seats.

The Mk6 is basically a good looking Mk5.

And it's still available today.

You can buy a new one.

Current generation is called the Mk7, because it's the 7th one, duh.

And there's a GTI.

It has a 2 liter turbocharged engine, with direct injection, and 230 horsepower.

And there's an even more rowdy one, called the Golf R, which is all-wheel drive, has

292 horsepower.

That's almost 300 horsepower!

The Golf itself has a lot of offshoots too, like the Jetta, and the Cabrio, which is not

available anymore.

And there's a lot of competitors to the Golf.

The whole hot hatchback category, which it invented, is now loaded with choices.

And some of them are pretty good.

But even today, the original is the gold standard by which all others are compared.

And none of them have the legacy of the car whose original purpose was to just be a little

bit better than a Beetle.

This is everything you need to know to get Up To Speed on the Volkswagen Golf GTI.

What cars do you want to see us cover?

What did I miss?

What did I do wrong?

How can we do better.

What do you like about it.

Like my hat?

Let me know.

U.S. causes confusion with mixed messages on North Korea in the run up to ASEAN forum - Duration: 2:23.

First U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said on Tuesday Washington would welcome a

chance to talks to Pyongyang at some point.

More recently, Vice President Mike Pence pointed out America has no plans for dialogue.

Kwon Jang-ho help us make sense of the seemingly contradictory messages.

U.S. Vice President Mike Pence has said that Washington will not be looking to hold direct

talks with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un in order to denuclearize the regime and that

the right strategy doesn't involve "engaging North Korea directly."

In an interview with the Wall Street Journal on Wednesday, he said he favoured economic

and diplomatic pressure, particularly through trying to push China to use its influence

on Pyongyang.

He added that "all options are on the table," including military action.

This rather flies in the face of U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson's comments the day

previously.

At a State Department press briefing on Tuesday, he said the first appropriate thing to do

was to seek "peaceful pressure" on the regime and have them "develop a willingness to sit

and talk", while under the understanding that they had to give up their nuclear arsenal.

He said, "We are not your enemy" and that Washington does not seek regime change or

have any intention to invade North Korea's borders.

This soft tone again contradicts what President Donald Trump is reported to have said.

Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, in an interview with NBC on Tuesday, quotes Trump as saying

that he would not allow Pyongyang to develop a nuclear missile capable of hitting the U.S.

and that there would be a war with North Korea if it did.

But Trump has also in the past championed opening dialogue, and even said that he would

be "honoured" to meet with Kim Jong-un, under the appropriate circumstances.

In the midst of this confused rhetoric, Tillerson will be heading to Manila over the weekend

for the ASEAN Regional Forum.

Also in attendance will be North Korean foreign minister Ri Yong-ho, and although they will

likely cross paths, the State Department has confirmed that they will not be sitting down

for talks.

Instead, the State Department said Tillerson would be seeking greater cooperation from

other nations there in isolating North Korea further over its missile and nuclear weapons

programs.

That includes China's foreign minister Wang Yi, with whom they said they are likely to

hold a bilateral meeting.

Kwon Jang-ho, Arirang News.

Farmers Market Set Up - Duration: 5:51.

Hi I'm Erin and this is Our Wyoming Life

This is my farmers' market truck.

We bought it 2014.

It made the haul to market tremendously easier.

Certain items like tents and tables never have to be unloaded here at the ranch.

We also now have enough space to bring all the veggies, baked goods and jam to market

every week.

Freezers have a permanent spot in the truck during market season allowing us to bring

more beef and pork.

In the beginning of our beef selling days we drug coolers with ice back and forth.

In reality the truck isn't very pretty on the inside and it's top speed is only about

55 downhill, with a tail wind but I can't imagine being without it.

Every Saturday Mike heads out early and loads up the items that can't be loaded beforehand.

Once we get to market it's a rush to get things set up before 8:00.

This time of year everything is easier.

Lettuce isn't heavy and the weather isn't freezing.

Come October it will be dark when we do this and often there will be frost on the windshield.

As we move into the season the veggies also get heavier and bins will sometimes weigh

upwards of 70 pounds.

It's not unheard of for us to being over 1000 pounds of product to market.

Luckily this time of year the whole process is easier and the weather has been great so

far.

Mike has a system when loading the truck.

Beef and Pork get loaded earlier in the week and the freezer stays plugged in while the

truck is parked.

On Saturday morning baked goods and jam come over from the house via the gator and are

loaded onto the shelves that have been built for them.

Lastly the veggies are emptied from the commercial refrigerator and placed in the truck.

We use bins and tubs and the floor is where the veggies ride.

Once at market there is also a certain order that the booth comes together in.

Tent absolutely has to go up first.

This year we have a 10x20 tent and honestly we hate putting it up but it looks nice and

hopefully it starts going up easier once it's been used a few times.

Tables and table cloths are next.

Then we divide and conquer.

Jam and baked goods are Mike's area and the vegetable display is my side of the booth.

We meet in the middle and fight over the remaining space.

Not really but it does get tight later on in the year.

Signs and price tags also get added.

Some weeks the booth comes together nicely and we might even be done before 8:00.

Other weeks it's a rush to get everything on the tables.

We want the booth to be well organized and pretty.

It needs to be inviting to the customer and easy for them to shop in.

Because I'm also one of our market managers I often get pulled away during set up to attend

to market matters.

Vendors need to know where they are located for the week and other situations sometimes

arise that I'm needed for.

Once we're done at 1:00 the whole thing happens in reverse.

This week we have a couple new vegetables coming to market.

Broccoli and rainbow chard are making their first appearance as well as few yellow squash.

Broccoli is very easy to harvest.

A sharp, clean knife is used to remove the head.

The plants will stay and produce florets that we will continue to harvest for weeks to come.

There are just a few yellow squash that are big enough to go to market.

After hunting through the vines a cut is made removing it from the plant and leaving at

least an inch or so of stem.

Rainbow chard is big enough for some of it to be harvested this week.

It cuts get just like lettuce and will keep coming back all summer.

We try to harvest a variety of the colors so that when bundled you get the whole rainbow.

Back in the shop all of the leaves have been removed from the broccoli heads and they get

sprayed off.

The heads are placed in a bushel basket and customers can choose which one they prefer.

Rainbow chard is soaked in cold water.

Sorted through to remove the leaves that are too damaged to sell and then receive a final

rinse before placed on the table for packaging.

A handful of stems are gathered for packaging and then banded with a rubber band.

It's nice to have a few more crops at market.

Before too long we will have zucchini and summer squash coming out of our ears.

They say a zucchini will double every 3 days.

So once they set it's not long before they are huge.

Tomatoes are also starting to turn.

Next week we will have enough for market.

I have picked a couple for quality control purposes of course.

So far no tomatoes have been seen at market so it's still a possibility that we could

be the first.

We'll see what the week brings for the gardens.

There's going to be a lot more crops coming into production in the next week or so and

we will really hit the peak of our season.

Remember back in February and I planted tomatoes and I was dreaming of a tomato sandwich, well

that's my lunch today.

It's always nice to see the fruit of our hard work pay off.

Thanks for watching and make sure to like us on Instagram or facebook and thanks for

joining me in Our Wyoming life.

HOW TO set up and use the DRS-Y dust removal system - Duration: 2:46.

Here at Hilti, we provide you with many options for controlling concrete dust on the jobsite.

Our dust removal systems, or DRS, work with a wide range of our products.

In this video, we will show you how to use your Hilti combihammer in conjunction with DRS-Y and vacuums.

This process can be replicated with the following tools.

Please refer to OSHA table 1 for guidelines on respirator use.

Check section 7 for drilling and section 10 for jackhammering.

Make sure to unplug the tool before you begin assembly.

Step 1: Remove the side handle from the tool by twisting it counter-clockwise.

Step 2: Replace the side handle with the barrel assembly.

The gap in the barrel allows access to the chuck unlocking mechanism.

Screw the side handle clockwise until it is tight.

Note, for certain tool generations, you may need to remove this black ring from the barrel,

in order for the barrel to fit over the tool's nose.

If you are unsure, please contact customer service for assistance.

Step 3: Place your insert inside of the tool chuck.

Step 4: Based on the insert, choose the proper shroud and place it over the end of the barrel.

Use the short or medium head for Pointed and Narrow Flat chisels and bushing chisels up to 15-3/4" in length.

Use the long shroud for chisels between 15-3/4" and 19-1/2" in length.

Use the long collapsible shroud for drill bits up to 2" diameter and 22" in length.

For percussion core bits, use the short collapsible shroud for bits up to 3-9/16"in diameter

and up to 11-1/2" in length.

Step 5: Attach your vacuum hose to the barrel.

Once the system is assembled, turn on the vacuum then the tool to begin use.

HOW TO set up and use the DRS-S dust removal system - Duration: 2:48.

Here at Hilti, we provide you with many options for controlling concrete dust on the job site.

Our dust removal systems, or DRS, work with a wide range of our products.

In this video, we will show you how to use your Hilti TE tool in conjunction with your DRS-S and vacuums.

We're using a TE 3-C in this demonstration, but the process is the same for any Hilti TE tool with a depth gauge.

Please refer to OSHA table 1 for guidelines on respirator use.

Check section 7 for drilling.

STEP 1: Begin by removing the tool from the box and fitting the depth gauge.

For any rotary hammer TE 50-AVR and higher, you will need

to use one of the depth gauges sold separately for these tools.

Step 2: Turn the red knob on top of the DRS-S tube counterclockwise to loosen the clamping collar.

Step 3: Insert your drill bit into the chuck.

Step 4: Slide the DRS-S assembly onto the depth gauge from the back of the tool. Turn the red knob clockwise to tighten the clamp.

Step 5: Choose the proper extraction head based on your bit diameters, and fit the head

to the front of the DRS-S assembly. The small head is for drill bit diameters up to ¾ of

an inch, while the larger head is for diameters up to 3-¼ inches.

Step 6: Use these tabs to adjust the starting length of the spring loaded section of the tube. Make sure that

the extraction head is flush with the end of the drill bit, so that no dust falls once

you start drilling. The DRS-S also has a stopping tab, to prevent drilling beyond a specific

depth. Setting the tab will stop the tube from compressing while drilling.

Step 7: Screw on the shroud hose with the proper adapter.

Step 8: Attach your vacuum hose to the shroud hose.

Once the system is assembled, turn on the vacuum then the tool to begin use.
