A Message To Those Who Don't Believe in Mental Illness - Duration: 3:02.

To many,

depression and mental illness are not considered

real.

And I think that mindset comes from the fact that

mental illness doesn't manifest physically.

You can't see it.

and because you can't see it,

people tend to think it's

imaginary.

but it doesn't

feel imaginary to me.

physical wounds heal.

they get stitches or a bandage and the skin heals over and the bleeding stops

but they can't

stitch

the wounds in my brain

because they're too deep.

They just form these

sores

eventually

that open when I don't want them to

and i can't think

I can't smile

I can't breathe

because it hurts too much.

it's like a cancer

is growing around my heart

And demons' claws are wrapped around my throat when I try to speak

and my brain is bleeding this black plague

of death into my arms and legs

until they're so heavy

that I can't lift them

and every good memory is

burning in napalm and I can't make it stop.

And they say, "Just don't think about it,"

but I can't shut it off because

my brain isn't listening to me.

Because it's sick.

And suicide is a sick man

falling to the devil in a world that thinks the

demons crawling in his skin are all...

Imaginary.

Mental illness is

vivid carmine breathing nerve gas inside our skulls,

you just can't see it.

So after Chester Bennington,

the lead singer of Linkin Park, committed suicide a couple of weeks ago,

I started to see where all these people were saying

depression and mental illness aren't real,

and how selfish he was for leaving his children and his wife behind,

And at first I was really mad at those people,

but then I realized they simply don't know any better

because of the stigma that surrounds mental illness.

So I wanted to make something to say that, yes, it is real

it's very real,

and when you don't let out the crazy stuff in your head,

it just builds up,

until there is no logical thought.

So please, if you or someone you know is going through something,

it's okay to ask for help.

and share this video with them if you want to.

It takes STRENGTH to ask for help, not weakness.

And don't let anybody ever tell you any different.

SKATEPARK RULES | DON'T SNAKE !!! - Duration: 3:30.

hello everyone Benji here it's time to explain all the

things you should and should not do in a skatepark rule number one pay attention

When it's your first time in a skatepark and you don't have a lot of experience

sit on the side of the skatepark to just see what's going on. Where are the

peoples riding where are they going it's really

important like you're crossing the street that's super dangerous always

look on both sides see what's going on be aware of what's going on

I'm addressing this message specifically to the parents I would not recommend for a

kid under six years old to come to a skatepark it's a very dangerous place

they can get a hit they can hit other people the skatepark is not a playground

be responsible please

If you're waiting for you turn on the side of a bowl or

quarter pipe never wait on the coping because it can be dangerous if someone

comes to do a grind or stall it can hit you so always wait between 60

centimetres and one metre away from the coping always look right, left and far in front

of you when it's your turn when no one is in the bowl then you can drop

Most of the time in the skatepark you have lines lines are the trajectories that the

people take to ride most of the time it's parallel they always go back and forth in one direction

Never ever zigzag through these lines

It happens sometimes that you have to cross the skatepark

look right left far in front of you because the danger can come from

anywhere but you know the lines guys so be aware when you cross make sure no one is riding

If you have a bowl in your skate park

don't forget only one person at the time in the bowl there are corners in the

bowl it's possible that you don't see someone coming from the corner so always

one person at a time

now something I see way too much in the skate parks. People or kids sitting on the spots

a skate park is not a chilling place

if you want to sit down sit down on the side of the skate park you have benches

you have grass or whatever never on the spot because people ride this spots and

they're not going to warn you that they're coming they're just going to come

If you want to chill, always on the side of the skate parks

Don't drop ina bowl if you can't get out by yourself because you're going to

annoy everyone there and it also can be dangerous for you and the others

And finally guys, especially to the scooter riders, don't snake. Don't cut the

lines of the others it's not respectful it's dangerous so

please pay attention thank you so much for listening to me

I hope this video helps don't forget guys it's really important to spread the

word so feel free to share this video if I forgot to say some rules please write

it in the comments so everyone can see it

don't get angry because it's not helping at all just explain the situation to the

kid and parents that are annoying you and this will help a lot to make the skateparks a

better place see you guys bye bye

Don Trip - Free Roy, Free Fletch | EP Review - Duration: 8:11.

What up youtube.

Topaz Yates back with another EP Review.

This time to Don Trip Free Roy, Free Fletch.

I am giving this one the green light because you are getting some quality bars and concepts

here.

But overall a lot of these songs weren't all that great.

There is only but two of them on here that I would say absolutely must download.

As this comes off as a filler project as we wait on what he has next.

So lets start off by breaking down some of my favorite songs off this starting with that

no such thing as

this was real.

He is talking about

how there is no point where you will have enough money to

take care of family and we

see examples of this.

With the likes of Rick James who was once really rich that ran through it and MC Hammer

who blew his money by giving back plus making expenses that he couldn't afford

in the long run.

These go to show you that no matter how rich you are one day it can be

taken away.

You honestly

need to

have old money like

these

families

that benefited from slavery as that money got invested and flipped.

What you don't know about LEARNING ENGLISH (A2) - Duration: 11:23.

hello everyone I'm marc I'm an English teacher and coach from Toronto in Canada

but I live in Rome since I began teaching English in 1996 students have

often asked me the same question how can I learn English faster and more

efficiently ? the answer to this question has been rolling around in my head for

some time now I'll give you advice on what not to do

when learning English first so first off don't translate word by word from your

own language try to figure out the meaning by reading through the sentence and then

try to understand it from the context if you don't know how to say a certain word

in English trying to explain it by using the language and the vocabulary you

already know so this might seem difficult but it works

second don't give up on your studies be constant never stop learning

research shows that if you give up on your studies you'll relegate your

english to the back of your mind it's like going to the gym for a year and

then taking a year off when you return all your muscles will hurt

that's because you didn't work out for a year so never give up now number three

don't be shy when you speak English by gaining confidence in the language

you'll become better at it if you are confident you won't think about your

grammar mistakes when you speak to people in English they understand you

are learning the language so don't worry nobody expects impeccable English from

you so how about those points are you actually using them well I hope so

now let's talk about what you should do with learning English try to immerse

yourself in the language what do I mean by immerse well let me

tell you about my own experience with Italian I moved to Italy in 1997 for the

first two months I had 360 degree contact with the language and I spoke

Italian with some mistakes my friends were Italians the environment

was Italian the air that I breathed was Italian

the whole context was Italian well I learned Italian in two months I was able

to have a real conversation with someone even making some mistakes now and then

obviously I don't expect you to move to the USA or to Canada or to the UK or

even to Australia however you can recreate your

English learning environment but how these are the most important things how

for your listening comprehension I suggest watching TV in English by

renting or buying movies or even by using the Internet

you can find tons a myriad of movies with English subtitles complete series

or TV programmes even on YouTube you just need to google English movies and

then for example you can type Casablanca ok series like the mist friends Sex and

the City or TV programs like 2020 or Dateline there is a myriad of links to

shows programs or movies in English I would also recommend English podcasts

they are easy to get you just need to subscribe to the ones you are most

interested in and again there tons of English podcast for example English

vocabulary podcast or English grammar podcast or English pronunciation podcast

or English speaking podcast I think yes etc there tons of podcasts when

listening you don't need to pay particular attention to what you're

hearing your mind will subconsciously retain the English you hear getting used

to the sound of English will definitely help you improve your comprehension

and understanding obviously this is particularly true if you live in

a context where every American or British movie is dubbed just like here in

Italy in order to learn new vocabulary I suggest reading a book you've always

wanted to read in your own language for example a book that you'll enjoy when

you learn a language it is extremely important you enjoy what you're doing

when reading it isn't important to look up all the words you don't know it is

however important to try and understand new words by context when an author

writes a sophisticated word they usually explain it in the successive sentences

likewise when an author uses this kind of word once you'll often find it

repeated several times throughout the rest of the book in this way by the time

you've got to the end of the book you'll have found it several times in context

and you will have differently learned what it means I've seen students

translating every single word they didn't understand for long-term retention

this has been proved to be ineffective after a few weeks of not actively using

or reencountering the words they so meticously looked up in the dictionary

they simply forget them in order to use what you've already learned I suggest

going to venues where foreigners usually hang out try and meet new people they

don't have to be native English speakers they could be from anywhere but your own

country tell them you're learning English and

you'd like to practice what you've learned talk about the weather

the city their or your life in general the news anything you think will be

appropriate for that occasion meet new friends online there are hundreds of

chat rooms for English students even on Facebook there are millions of English

speaking groups by now you know you can either text or speak live with anyone on

the Internet I suggest you always mention you're

learning English and you want to practice there are many people who are

learning English and wish to use what they've learned traveling visit a

place outside your country anywhere you go you'll find people who speak English

by traveling you can practise the English you've learned firsthand try to

put yourself in situations where you have to speak English in order to

communicate in this way you're forced to use what you've learned I strongly

suggest traveling alone so that you don't speak your own language and thus

you speak only English if you live in a country where English isn't the first

language I strongly suggest attending English lessons make it a habit

don't stop attending this will definitely increase your level of

advice helpful if you'd like to make a comment or to post a question just do so

What Really Happens To Your Body When You Don't Exercise Enough - Duration: 5:14.

Some people are born with naturally thin frames and the metabolism that allows them to eat

pretty much whatever they want and never gain weight.

It might be tempting for these people to forego working out altogether.

But exercise does a lot more than help us burn calories to lose weight.

In fact, not getting enough exercise can have a pretty significant impact on what's going

on in our bodies and the future of our health.

Here's what happens when you don't exercise enough.

Poor diet

Many people who exercise regularly also eat very healthy diets.

While it may seem like this is always due to a conscious choice to be healthier, it

turns out that people who are more active actually crave healthy food.

Scientists call it the transfer effect, which is when a person starts to improve one area

of life and that automatically triggers a desire to improve others.

The problem comes when someone falls off the wagon with their exercise routine, since it

doesn't take their nutrition long to follow.

Your body stops craving highly nutritious foods because it no longer needs the extra

sustenance.

"What the heck is that?"

"Who puts broccoli on pizza?"

"That's it.

I'm done."

"Congratulations San Francisco.

You've ruined pizza."

Instead, nutritionally-poor foods like potato chips and chocolate cake become more enticing.

And once you start eating junk, you start craving more junk.

Sleepless nights

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, one in three American adults

is not getting enough sleep, and a lack of exercise might be contributing factor in that

shocking statistic.

Regular exercise has been shown to increase total sleep time and leave people feeling

more alert and well-rested throughout the day.

But it's important to note that while a single day of exercise does produce some small improvements

to sleep compared to those who do not exercise, only those who engage in regular exercise

see a significant difference in sleep quality.

Slowing down

If you don't exercise regularly, you may find that when you climb a flight of stairs or

carry a heavy bag of groceries for more than a few feet, you get out of breath.

Regular exercise results in improved cardiovascular and lung health and improved functional capacity.

This means your body has greater efficiency for taking in and absorbing oxygen, even when

your body is fatigued.

Without regular exercise, your body is not as efficient at absorbing oxygen when it's

under strain, which is why you may get light-headed and can't catch your breath.

Your metabolism will also decrease after prolonged periods of a sedentary lifestyle.

Research has shown that exercise helps increase a person's Resting Metabolic Rate, or RMR,

which is the rate at which your metabolism functions when you're not exercising or otherwise

active.

While RMR is affected by other factors as well, increases in RMR from regular exercise

are valuable.

But when you don't get enough exercise, your under-used muscles gradually shrink and your

body fat percentage increases, further slowing your metabolism.

By getting enough exercise now and increasing your RMR, you can be proactive about your

metabolism rather than reactive in the years down the road.

Increased injuries

The more you use your body, the more accustomed it is to movement and the more it can deal

with before it becomes fatigued.

So when you don't exercise, your muscles become deconditioned.

What this means is that when you're sedentary, the result is a partial or complete reversal

of any prior gains in strength, cardiovascular fitness, and flexibility or mobility.

One consequence of these losses in physical fitness can be injury and lower back pain.

So if you're starting to notice a few more aches and a bit more stiffness when you wake

up in the morning, it may be time to use it or lose it.

Mood swings

Another consequence of skipping the gym is that you may feel grumpier or sadder than

usual because, when it comes to your mood, exercise can play a big part.

Some scientists argue that this is because exercise has an effect on neurotransmitters

like serotonin and dopamine levels in the brain, which can help make us feel happy.

For people who exercise a lot and then stop, it can almost be like going through withdrawal

from a drug.

"I don't think you want any help I think you want a little pity party."

Meanwhile, stress levels can also be affected by your daily routine because both inflammation

and oxidative stress have been shown to be important in the development of psychological

stress and anxiety.

Regular exercise serves as an anti-inflammatory that can help reduce this kind of stress,

which then reduces psychological stress.

Weakened bones

While cardio training is important for your heart, it isn't the only type of exercise

you should be doing.

In fact, resistance training, like lifting weights or doing bodyweight exercises, may

be one of the most beneficial types of exercise for women in particular.

As we age, our bones get weaker.

This is especially true of women who are four times as likely as men to suffer from osteoporosis.

By engaging in resistance training before menopause, a woman will increase her bone

mass and reduce her risk of developing osteoporosis.

For those who are already postmenopausal, strength training is still shown to be more

effective for increasing bone mass than non-weight bearing cardiovascular exercise.

Shorter lifespan

Numerous studies have shown that in addition to decreasing the risk for certain cancers

and improving cardiovascular health, exercise helps you live longer overall.

It turns out that regular exercise is associated with a 30 percent decrease in all-cause mortality

— that is, all of the things that could possibly kill someone.

This means people who exercise are less likely to experience death caused by disease and

have a greater chance of dying of natural causes.

If you don't get enough exercise, you may be at higher risk for disease and a shortened

lifespan.

Leading a sedentary lifestyle has been linked with diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and

all-cause mortality.

In other words, it isn't just about weight and sleep.

Exercise may actually be a question of life and death in the long-run, so for the sake

of your mind, body, and longevity, it's time to get up and move.

"And I will make a greater effort to exercise."

"Yes you will!"

BREAKING I don't accept! Boris Johnson launches attack on Michel Barnier over shock Brexit bill - Duration: 2:09.

I don't accept! Boris Johnson launches attack on Michel Barnier over shock Brexit bill

The BBC host, Mishal Husain, quizzed Mr Johnson over his "go whistle" remarks towards the EU before the Foreign Secretary took a dig at Michel Barnier.

Speaking on BBC Radio 4's programme, Mr Johnson claimed suggestions the UK may have to pay £100billion to exit the European Union was not a figure he "recognised" He added: "I think that some of the sums I have seen seem to be very high and of course we will meet our obligating we are law abiding bill paying people.

"The UK has contributed hundreds of billions over the years to the EU. The host stepped in asking whether the he was comfortable with the "UK having to pay" to exit the  and "settling obligations" as Mr Barnier calls it.

Mr Johnson then took a quick swipe at the EU's chief Brexit negotiator before he admitted the UK would have to pay its legal obligations.  He raged: "I am not saying that I accept Mr Barnier's interpretations of what our obligations are.  "But I am certainly saying that we have to meet our legal obligations as we understand them and that is what we are going to do."   .

The Foreign Secretary refused to speculate on what kind of figure the United Kingdom should pay to the European Union after it exits the bloc.  He added: "I'm not going to get into a financial haggle with you.

This is a matter for our excellent negotiators.  "What you would like them to do is to get the best possible value for the UK tax payer and that is what they are going to do.  "I can give you an absolutely clear and precise answer.

We should pay not a penny more and not a penny less of what we think our legal obligations amount to." The comments come as the UK's Brexit negotiator is reportedly planning on ignoring the issue of how much the UK will have to pay the bloc to infuriate Brussels.   .

A source, who is closely involved with the Brexit negotiations, said Mr Davis will refuse to disclose even roughly what the UK is prepared to pay.

They said: "It would be like turning up half your cards." "We are in the season of the Great British Bake Off, aren't we? So we will make it clear that they have massively over-egged their demands.

"In an ideal world they want to salami-slice us, step by step by step."  .

BREAKING 'They don't take it seriously' EU LAUGHS at the UK's Brexit negotiators, expert claims - Duration: 2:01.

'They don't take it seriously' EU LAUGHS at the UK's Brexit negotiators, expert claims

Charles Grant claimed Brussels is confident Britain will accept the EUs Brexit terms by forcing David Davis cave in to pressure. The director of the Centre for European Reform (CER) said: The EU is now very self-confident.

It thinks its on a roll, it thinks it has defeated the populist monster for now.

I think they overdo their self-confidence but because the euro zone is growing quite fast, there is this feeling that they are going to integrate and they're strong..

During a conference at the London Business School in London, Mr Grant said there was now a perception the EU will not match UK demands for future relations. He explained: they don't have to give Britain any concessions at all.

When the British argue that they better not damage the City in the Brexit deal or that it will destabilise the eurozone, they just laugh.

They don't take that seriously. Mr Grant also claimed that the general perception in Brussels is that the UK doesnt have enough experts in Whitehall to deal with Brexit.

He remarked that the European Union remained united and sure of the Brexit terms it established after the referendum.

The CER director said: When Mrs May says "no deal is better than a bad deal" they just don't believe her cause they think it would be bonkers to leave the EU without a deal at all.

If Britain crashes out without a deal, it's going to be so bad for the British economy that we'll have to give in. Brexit Secretary is reportedly planning on ignoring talks about how much Britain will have to pay the bloc to infuriate Brussels.

A source closely involved in the negotiations said: We are in the season of the Great British Bake Off, aren't we? So we will make it clear that they have massively over-egged their demands.

"In an ideal world, they want to salami-slice us, step by step by step.".
