Welcome to Plus Money Picks for Tuesday, June 20th.
That's enough beating around the bush — Let's get into today's action.
We'll start things off in New York City where the slumping Yankees — losers of a
season long 6 straight games— play the Angels who won two of three from the Yankees last
week.
The Yanks will send Michael Pineda to the mound who was kicked around by the Angels
in that series, allowing 10 hits and five runs, with just two strikeouts.
For that reason, I really like the value the Angels offer on the +1.5 runline at +120.
Next, we hit the west coast for a super sexy matchup between the Rockies and D-backs and
I'm all OVER Arizona as a +105 dog.
Zack Greinke gets the ball and the D-backs have won seven of his last eight starts which
includes a win in Colorado where he allowed just two runs, while striking out seven.
The Rockies will counter with Ger-man Marquez who was roughed up for five earned runs in
his last start vs Arizona.
Combine that with the fact that the D-Backs are 8-1 in their last nine series openers
on the road and we have a recipe for a great plus money bet.
And we'll wrap things up with another runline wager, but this time we'll take the favorite
with the Twins coming in at +120 on the -1.5 runline.
Ervin Santana has been dynamite in two starts vs the White Sox this season, allowing just
three hits and zero runs in two starts.
Meanwhile, Derek Holland has fallen back to earth for Chicago after a surprising start
to the season.
They've lost five of his last seven starts, and so far in June, he has a 10.38 ERA.
That's it for this edition of Plus Money Picks.
Good luck with your bets tonight, and as always, KEEP CHASING THAT PAPER!
