What's up guys here is Pire, today I'm gonna show you how to make an audio visualizer in after effects

but first of all I want to say two things

First, I'm not English. I'm Italian and I can't speak English really well

but I will put subtitles in the video

Second, I don't know why I searched this on Google Translate, but my name, Pire

I don't like it, and I think I will change my name, but after this let's start with the tutorial

So first of all open After Effects and import your files

Like your logo your background and your song and click on import

now

Select your MP3 file and drag it to this button

You will create a composition with the same duration of your song

Now right click on the composition and click on rename

rename the composition in comp

now [right-click] on comp composition settings in

width put 1920 and in height put 1080

In Framerate you can select 30 or 60

In resolution, it's really important to put full

Now import the other files like your background

Now it's really important to set the preview to fit up to 100

Then adjust the scale of your background by clicking S on your keyboard

Okay, now import the other files like your logo and put them on the top of the composition

okay, now create a new solid

Rename it audio spectrum

And click on make comp size, and then okay now right click on audio spectrum

click on effect, generate and then audio spectrum on the top

in audio layer select your song

in start point put 0 in end point put 1920

now in start frequency put 20 and end frequency put 275

in frequency bands put 2000

in the maximum height put 800 and

In audio duration put 90

audio offset 0 thickness 3 and softness it's really important to put 0

Now in inside [color] and outside color you can select a random color

Or you can select the color of your logo like me

Now in display options put digital and in side options It's really important to put B

Now as you can [see] the [audio] spectrum is horizontal

if you don't want this

Search in Fx and Preset

polar coordinates

And apply the effect to the spectrum

Now in type of conversion put rect to polar and in interpolation

put it to 100

now

Adjust the scale of your audio spectrum now if we make a preview of our video we can see that the spectrum

Goes only in this way

If you want to make the spectrum goes on the left and on the right

search in the fx and presets mirror

Apply the effect to the audio spectrum

now in reflection center put

960 and the 540 as you can see now our

Spectrum goes on left and right

How to make a DIY magnetic light switch cover - Duration: 6:04.

Today at the House of Hacks we're going to make a magical key chain holder.

[Intro music]

Hi! Harley here.

If you're interested in videos about making things, particularly woodworking, metalworking,

electronics, photography and things like that, things with a mechanical or technical bent,

go ahead and subscribe and hit the bell notification icon and YouTube will tell you next time I

have a video uploaded.

In the opening segment, I indicated we're going to make a magical light switch cover.

I think it was Arthur C. Clarke that said "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable

from magic."

We know in this case it's not really magic, it's just magnets.

This project was inspired by a video I saw somewhere, I don't know where the original

video was or I would give credit, but I did find these magnetic light switch covers available

on Amazon.

So if you don't have the parts or take the time to make your own, you can go check out

the link down below and help support the channel by buying things off Amazon.

They are, they're not terribly expensive.

They're $7.50 or something like that.

So they're not super expensive, but they're a whole lot more expensive than a light switch

cover and some surplus magnets that I scavenged out of an old hard drive.

I'll have a video up at some point talking about scavenging magnets out of hard drives.

And then just a little bit of epoxy to hold the magnets in and we'll save a whole bunch

of money.

Let's get started.

OK, the first thing we need to do is take the light switch cover off the light switch.

And now down here in the workshop, I have my workbench covered up with a little bit

of cardboard to keep the epoxy off.

Anything that overflows, I don't want it to get on the workbench top.

So it's real simple.

I've already got some segments right in here that are just molded into the plastic...

I didn't have to do anything...

that those magnets fit in real nicely.

I was thinking I might have to get the Dremel out and kind of cut out an area, but it looks

like everything is going to be good to go.

So, all I'm going to do here is open up the epoxy and squirt just a tiny, don't need a

whole lot, put a little bit in here... that was a whole lot more than I wanted but we'll

have to make do.

I think the epoxy was a little bit old and got kind of junked up inside the container

there.

But we'll spread that... we'll use that for both sides.

I was going to put a little bit in this side and a little bit in this side, but, you know,

things change and I'll just mix it all up on this side.

Right here I've got a Popsicle stick that I use for mixing epoxy.

And I'll mix this up real good here and then we'll put some of it in the other side.

I want to make it so it'll work either on the top or the bottom without regards to how...

orientation.

So, just kind of mix this up real good.

This is 5 minute, fast setting epoxy.

So we'll just put some of that stuff that's been mixed up real well over here.

And just kind of try to get maybe equal amounts if I can kind of eyeball this.

And we'll spread that out there and we'll spread this stuff out here.

I don't know if I have it exactly even but it's close enough.

It'll be fine.

Now we'll just put the magnet...

You have to be careful.

You have to be careful when working with these magnets because they will attract to each

other and they will cause blood blisters if they snap together when you're holding them.

So, I'm going to put one right there.

And I'm going to put the other one...

try to make it symmetrical... put it right there.

I'm going to just push that down into the epoxy like so.

And like so.

Let it get really...

I'll just cover up the edges here to smooth it out a little bit.

I've got a little bit more epoxy than I need but it will, should be sufficient.

It should work.

I'm going to just push that guy down in there and it's going to set up here pretty quick

like.

I kind of like the idea of covering the whole magnet.

I don't think I have quiet...

I think I have more epoxy on one side than the other.

So I'll just kind of cover up those edges.

And smooth that down.

I'm kind of liking the idea of putting a coat of epoxy all the way across the top to kind

of act as a little bit of an insulator.

There shouldn't ever be a problem inside the light switch with arcing or electronics or

anything, but just to be on the safe side, covering that up will kind of alleviate any

potential problems with that.

And now we just have to play the waiting game to wait until that epoxy sets up.

It should be about 5 minutes or so.

OK, it's been about 20 minutes and that's what it looks like.

It's still a little wee bit tacky but it'll harden up over the next 24 hours or so.

I think it's going to be just fine.

It's not going to be a problem.

Let's go install it.

WHAT MAKE A GAME EXCLUSIVE FOR PS4 AND XBOX ONE X MEANS - Duration: 5:28.

don't worry Mouse Cavalry there hey what's up guys this is Jeffrey from

gamer two-for-two calm III just actually over last week so I'm making this video

cuz I'm a little confused after I finish watch the Microsoft press conference I

was trying to figure out what does the word exclusive means anymore

because back in the days when Nintendo first came out they actually had Mario

and Mario was exclusive to Nintendo same thing with the Sega Genesis Sonic was

exclusive to the Sega Genesis now let's look at the PlayStation you had crash

bandicoot stuff like that these console actually have exclusive game now I don't

understand where Microsoft is going now with a saying that gaming exclusive

after PC have the same game you have does that mean is exclusive or not I'm

confused because I'm looking at it like this if I'm gonna buy a game on its

actually on a PC and I actually have a PC - why the hell I will actually spend

my money and I she buy it on a console because they're still on the console so

that game is not exclusive it is not for one console and that's the reason why

these console was created to actually put games that we cannot get on the PC

but if you bring in the same game that is on the console on the PC I don't want

to start at how you expect to make money I'm very very confused I honestly don't

know what to do anymore when it comes to video games at least on a Microsoft

section the PlayStation they have a lot of exclusive game and it only belongs to

PlayStation but Microsoft I'm confused I know I'm going to buy me Xbox one X

not I don't have to worry about that I'm gonna buy the game but but if they're

really truly exclusive games for that console

I don't really don't know your guys in the comments section if you're really

exclusive games let me know because last time I checked EC and Xbox one X gangs

is not exclusive because if you get it on both platforms on PC is actually a

gaming rig so it is still a system so if I get a game on both system

technically it is not exclusive it doesn't make no sense

stop using the word exclusive and you truly know your console does not have

exclusive game and that's the reason why console actually sell and I think this

is going to be the reason why Microsoft will never catch PlayStation 4 when it

come to sales because they truly don't have no exclusive

games and I don't see them working on nothing so stop making PC games on xbox

games the same time I can understand this if I just just use this as an

example I just released a new Halo game a year later then I bring notes for the

PC it is not really truly exclusive but you actually have it on the home console

for a whole year so that will give you incentives to actually buy the console

version because no one really want to wait after whole year and when a holy I

come next thing you know there's another game and developed so I will actually

bought the Peter home console version I don't worry up don't have to worry about

the PC version I think a Microsoft is going to actually I mean bring the game

to the PC actually wait a whole year then do that because if you don't do

that you are she killing your console sales it doesn't add up because it don't

make no sense there's a lot of people out there have pcs and it don't make no

sense I actually have to buy the Xbox one version again we all know the PC

version will always be better tomorrow one take si Xbox one is true I mean is

4k but we already see the check about rendering so we know it is not true 4k

but yo if you create a given PC based on created for 4k gaming you know you will

always have the 4k gaming compatible so truly the PC will always be more

superior over the Xbox one so honestly Microsoft I don't know what you're

trying to do when it come to you you so-called exclusive game create

exclusive game don't create games when we could get for

the PC on day one it don't make no sense I don't want to grease PC guys eat my

head off the only reason why I'm actually making this video is because I

really don't think Xbox actually have exclusive game you if you can find in

one game that is going to be released for the pro I mean not the project

Scorpio because they change at the Xbox one and they're gonna have one exclusive

game would ain't going to be on a PC please let me know I haven't seen one

game I watch the press conference twice just to double-check and all the

games are coming out for PCs so technically Microsoft you don't actually

have no exclusive game you have PC games with Xbox one games and if I have a

gaming rig I am NOT going to buy the Xbox one version I'm

by the pc version now guys I want to see if you have a subscribe to this channel
