Hi I'm Sue with Team Clark. And I'm Lori with Team Clark and we both work at the
Consumer Action Center. And today we're going to do another taste testing and
Lori is the queen of taste testing. Today we're going to taste sparkling
waters now, do you have to pay a lot more to get a better product? Lori is going
to let us know the answer. If you would try the water and let us know what you
think. That's good, I like that it's refreshing, a little
lemony. Yeah, they're all gonna be lemon. Okay
Lori's gonna clean her palate between each one to get a superb testing.
Okay number two, let's see how that tastes.
Tastes very similar to the first one it's not as carbonated. Do they both
taste as lemony you think? I think this one was maybe a little less. So the
difference is the carbonation the amount. And try the last one to see what
you think. I need to clear my palate. Certainly, yes. Want to give a true test
here. Okay let's see how this turns out.
So Lori, To be honest with you, they all kind of tasted the same. This one wasn't as
carbonated. I think if I were gonna choose between the three I think I
choose... Although, I'm beginning to get an aftertaste from this one.
Oh, are you? So if you were to pick one, you get home tonight, you're tired after a
day at the Consumer Action Center, which one you gonna pick? Let me try this one more time.
Okay. They're all so close to be honest. I think I would pick. I think I'd
pick number two. Okay, well very interesting. The most expensive is
La Croix at 46 cents a can, number one. The number two less expensive is Kroger and
that is 21 cents. And guess what? You picked Aldi, Clark's favorite store and
that's only 20 cents. So there you go, you can get a very good sparkling water for 20
cents a can.
