How to Be Happy in Life. How to Enjoy Life | Psychology of Happiness - Duration: 4:22.How to be happy.
How to enjoy life.
My name is Elena Semenek and welcome to my channel
"Psychology of Happiness", where happiness is the purpose of life!
Let's talk about "happiness" and "how to be happy in life".
Today, I have only one advice for you.
So in order to be happy, focus on things if you WANT to have, WANT to do versus some things
that you HAVE to do or obligated to do.
And this advice has two components.
The component #1 is to figure out what you are missing in your life.
What elements do you need to add to your life in order to be happy?
What's gonna make you feel happy?
Is it a relationship?
Is it about a career?
Is it about your friendship?
Is it about something else?
What is gonna make you happy?
And you can say, Elena, I need several things in order to be happy.
I want to live in a nice house, drive a nice car, have a better job, get more money, have
a better relationship, and that's okay.
That's absolutely normal.
We do need several things in order to be happy, but out of all this spectrum of things, what's
the most important for you right now, right now in your life?
What's the most important?
Component #2 is to focus on things that you WANT to have, WANT to do in your life versus
something that you HAVE to do.
Things that you "have to do", you will still "have to do" them, for example, we have to
go to work, we'll have to make money, will have to pay bills.
We have to call our friends or have to call our relatives in order to keep the good relationship.
And sometimes you don't want to call your relatives.
Sometimes you don't want to call your friends, but in order to keep your friendship, you
still have to listen to your friend's problems and that's normal.
That's, that's life.
What I am offering you is to put all those things AFTER things that you WANT to have
in your life.
So every morning when you wake up, spend 10, 15, 20 minutes towards your goal, towards
things that are going to make you feel happy.
For example, if it's about the relationship, maybe you can spend 15 minutes every day drinking
coffee with your spouse, or maybe you can spend 15 minutes to write the note to your
loved one and put it on the fridge.
If it's about your health, for example, you want to improve your health, you want to have
a new healthy lifestyle in your life.
Maybe every morning you're going to go for a walk or maybe for a run for 15 minutes.
So instead of thinking, that after work, I will go to the gym and I will train for two
hours, maybe you can make 30-minutes window in the morning and do some exercise because
when we come back from work, we don't have any more energy, we don't have time, we might
be so tired.
So we don't want to do anything.
We just want to see it in front of the TV and relax.
That's why it's so important to spend five, 10, 15, 20 minutes in the morning towards
things that are going to make you feel happy.
So two components.
Component #1 is to figure out what you are missing in your life, what gonna bring more
happiness in your life, and step #2 is to focus on that thing in the morning, every
day, step by step, do a little movement towards your goal, towards your happiness.

Natural Lifestyle - Duration: 0:59.Dr. Fialkow, I'm gonna end with you because you are a cardiologist special team
right, just like my dad, and you are involved in all of this advice to any viewer
out there who may say okay, but what should I do?
For cardiac vascular prevention in particular? I think we talk about
wellness we talk about health and it's very--- there are many factors and
variables involved so the idea of just eating better and exercising is great
but there's a lot more to that and and the way I look at it and I'll give you
my little minute sermon--- Well, we only got about 30... really quickly...
Do things as naturally as possible eat the most natural foods don't eat
processed foods try and get a good night's sleep live like we were meant to
live and not like society makes us live which is driving from place to place and
watching TV all night and having this high stress lifestyle so there's a
lot we can do.

Lady Gaga Lifestyle ★ 2018 - Duration: 10:29.Lady Gaga was born to Joseph Anthony Germanotta Jr and Cynthia Louise, in Manhattan, on March
28, 1986.
She was originally christened Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta,
by her parents.
Stefani was admitted to a Roman-Catholic institution named 'Convent of the Sacred Heart' when
she was eleven years old.
Apparently, the girl was a good student who excelled both in Academics as well as
extra-curricular activities.
Lady Gaga first tryst with music at the age of four, when she was introduced to the piano.
When she was barely thirteen years old, Stefani had even penned her first
ballad tailored for the piano.
She moved to the renowned 'New York University's 'Tisch School for The Arts' after graduating
from school, since the institution encouraged music by offering
training classes in musical theatre.
However, she discontinued her studies just a year after joining the institution.
After taking a sabbatical from college in 2005, Stefani decided to try her luck to get
a break in the music industry.
She first collaborated with American hip-hop artiste Melvin Grover on an audio
book project aimed at children.
Lady Gaga even formed a band named 'SG Band' the same year, for which she joined hands
with a few friends like Alex Beckmann and Eli Silvermann, who were also
students of the 'New York University'.
The band started making waves in New York, after it started performing at various nightclubs
around the city, such as the 'Mercury Lounge' and 'The Bitter End'.
Their gigs earned 'SG Band' quite a few fans and they soon grabbed the attention of
a music producer named Joe Vulpis, with whom the band worked for a brief period
in 2005.
The band's talent was noticed by a musician named Wendy Starland in 2006.
This man even introduced Stefani to a music producer named Rob Fusari at around the same
time.
Rob wanted to form a new band altogether with a lead female vocalist.
Lady Gaga started shuttling between New York and New Jersey quite often from then on, in
a bid to record new songs which she had written for Fusari.
Apparently, its Rob who gave her the name Gaga, inspired
by the famous song 'Radio Ga ga'.
The singer and the producer even entered into business and started a firm named 'Team
Lovechild'.
Together, they produced some unusual pieces of music, mainly
belonging to the Synthpop genre.
The tracks received accolades from the music fraternity and soon, many opportunities came
knocking at Gaga's door.
One of them being the offer from the American record label, 'Def Jam Recordings', who
wanted to experiment by bringing out an album using this singer's voice.
Unfortunately, Gaga's relationship with the record label ended within a short period,
after which Lady Gaga started working with a label named 'Interscope Records', in
2007.
The young singer worked mainly as a lyricist and penned a few songs
for the celebrity singers associated with the label.
A few of these eminent people include Britney Spears and 'The Pussycat Dolls'.
The record label 'RedOne' gave Gaga her much needed career break in 2008, through
the single 'Just Dance'.
The song went on to become well-acclaimed by both critics
and music lovers.
It also became popular in discotheques and nightclubs, thus, Gaga's music dream finally
took wings.
2009 saw the release of 'The Fame Monster', which was more like an extension of her earlier
album 'The Fame'.
The tracks of this album went on to become chartbusters,
especially 'Bad Romance', which took the radio and the world of internet by storm.
After tasting success with her earlier ventures, Gaga returned with her second official music
album in 2011, titled 'Born This Way'.
The same year she also staged a concert titled 'Monster Ball', which was
held at Madison Square Garden, New York City.
The singer had earned approximately $220 million through the tour.
In 2012, Gaga travelled to South Korea for another musical tour titled 'Born This Way
Ball'.
Eventually 110 shows were staged under this name and helped Gaga reached
the peak of her career.

Taylor Swift Lifestyle ★ 2018 - Duration: 8:56.Taylor Swift Numerous 'Grammy Award' winner, singer-songwriter and country-pop star Taylor
Swift is living every teenager's dream.
Born in a small town, she changed the way the current generation
perceived country music.
Being compared to the likes of legendary country artists such as Dolly
Parton and Willie Nelson, Swift was only sixteen when she released her debut album.
She is not only a great vocalist, but the 27 year old can also
skilfully play instruments such as the guitar, piano and ukulele.
She is the only female artist to have won two 'Album of the Year' awards at
the Grammy's.
Her chart-busters like 'Love Story' and 'You Belong with Me' brought her global
recognition.
With the release of every album, Taylor Swift breaks her own record.
She is an inspiration to several aspiring artists.
Not only is she listed in the platinum-selling albums of all time,
she also embodies compassion as she has extended unending support to several charitable organisations.
She aims for the stars and reaches greater heights without any hesitation.
Taylor Swift was born to Andrea Gardner Swift and Scott Kingsley Swift on 13th December,
1989 in Reading, Pennsylvania.
Her father was a stockbroker, while her mother was
a homemaker who brought up Taylor and her younger brother, Austin.
Taylor Swift attended Alvernia Montessori School.
Taylor and Austin used to attend Bible classes as their parents were Presbyterian Church
goers.
When she was only 9 months her mother placed her on a saddle, from then on horse riding
became her hobby.
She was gifted her own pony named Ginger.
Taylor went on to win several horse riding races.
After moving to Wyomissing, she joined the Youth Theatre Academy productions and travelled
quite frequently to New York for acting and vocal lessons.
She began playing the guitar after a computer mechanic taught her to play three cords.
She was only twelve, but instantly took to country music.
She was inspired by Shania Twain and the Dixie Chicks.
In school, she won a national poetry competition on submitting a poem called "Monster in
My Closet".
It is her gift for poetry that helped her song-writing.
The first song she wrote was "Lucky You".
Taylor Swift talent was evident and so was the support of her parents.
Her mother spoke with Dan Dymtrow and with his assistance the twelve year old was cast
in Abercrombie & Fitch's 'Rising Stars'
campaign, and was subsequently interviewed by numerous mega record labels.

Fitness changed my life, but it was a real struggle - Duration: 11:27.Fitness changed my life. 10 years ago I was probably over a 100Kg, and
today, at 40 years old I'm around 78Kg, and it's not just it changed my life in
terms of weight loss. I am healthier today than I've ever been in my life. At
40 years old I am faster, stronger and leaner today than I was in my 20s, then I
was in college even, become stronger faster and leaner and healthier than I
was in high school ,when I was captain of the basketball team, and MVP
on the basketball team. But this journey has not been easy. This journey
has been actually extremely bumpy. Like I said, ten years ago I was around the
100Kg, and that wasn't because I was doing the wrong things. I never
really ate junk food, it wasn't a thing that I liked, so I was eating healthy or
what I was told was healthy. What I did was training in the gym three to
four times a week. I worked with several personal trainers, yet at the same time I
was still significantly overweight. I had built some muscle because of all that
training but I still had a lot of fat on my body. I felt unhealthy. I
didn't sleep well. so it was a lot of these issues. Then ten years ago I
discovered triathlon. I got into triathlon and I went all the way to
Ironman. Ironman triathlons. I've done two of them. Ironman triathlon is
an event where you swim 4km in open water,
you jump on the bike and you cycle for 180 kilometers, which takes anywhere from
five to six hours and then run a full marathon, 42 kilometers right off the
bike. I did two of them. But still... now get this... I trained for Ironman I was
training 18 to 20 hours a week I was training like crazy I could not eat
enough calories to even to even cover what I was burning in training but I
still wasn't losing enough weight yes my weight did come down it came down from
100 kilos down to around 83 84 which was still significantly overweight for
someone of my height and my size so what was I doing wrong why was it
that I was doing all that training I was doing what the coaches were telling me I
was doing what every single magazine and fitness magazine and article was telling
me about nutrition and eating low-fat foods and eating healthy I was doing all
these things and it still wasn't working I wasn't healthy I was getting injured
all the time I was getting sick all the time it just something wasn't working so
four years ago what I did was I decided I decided okay enough was enough I took
a step back and I dusted off my biology and biochemistry books from my pre-med
days and I told myself look you have a science background why don't you dig
into the science of how the human body works and understand the biochemistry
and start changing your training and changing your nutrition and changing
your lifestyle in order to get the results that you want
long story short today I'm healthier than I've ever been in my life and what
I started doing was this every single week I will read between 15 to 20
research papers and I've been doing this for the last 4 years for the last
four years every single week I'll read between 15 and 20 research papers in the
waters of sports science sports psychology sports performance clinical
nutrition sports nutrition physiology I will read these papers because I will
read because I want I want to know there's all of these studies what are
they telling us about how the human body works and what are
they telling us about how we can change the way we eat we sleep we train and our
lifestyle overall in order to be the healthiest we can be I don't want to be
the fastest person at 40 years old I don't want to be the strongest person at
40 years old I want to be the healthiest person that I can be at 40 years old and
at 50 and at 60 I don't want to live till 100 years old but be in a
wheelchair I want to live to a hundred years old and still be able to go out
and run a marathon and still be able to put a backpack on my back and climb up a
mountain that's what I want to do and that is the entire focus of how I live
now I'm creating this channel because I want to be able to share all that
with you guys because at heart I'm a teacher
I've loved teaching my entire life so everything that I've been doing over the
past years yes when I discovered this four years ago I started coaching and I
worked with athletes all the way from people are struggling with hormonal
issues to people who are looking to qualify for World Championships but this
although it gave me the satisfaction of teaching it gave me the satisfaction on
a very limited number of people so what I'm trying to do through this channel is
share that knowledge with as many people as I can because that's what I love to
do and because I struggled for 15 20 years to get the results that I want and
now that I've got them and now that I've cracked the code on how to be able to
get those results I just want to share them with you. so here's what you're gonna
get from this channel more importantly let me start with what you're not going
to get from this channel what you're not gonna get from this channel is me
pushing products or trying to sell you products what you're not gonna get from
this channel is me trying to sell you supplement or promote supplements or
promote you know weight loss teas and stuff like that what you're not gonna
get on this channel is me promoting things that you should put in
your body that I don't put in my body and like I said my main goal is to be
the healthiest person I can be when I test my blood not just the way I look
from the outside or the way I perform when I'm racing or competing I
am looking at trying to be the healthiest person I can be and there are
so many things out there that will make you lose weight will make you perform
better but will actually hurt you from the inside will hurt the
biochemistry in your blood would hurt your organs and these things I would not
put in my body I will never promote on this channel I will not push them on
this channel if you're a supplement company that is going to approach me and
this has happened before on my other channel that it's going to approach me
to try to promote their products let me tell you this if it has artificial
ingredients if it has artificial colors if it claims to do something that
scientifically is not proven to work if it has any side effects whatsoever if
it's not completely 100% natural don't even bother
I'm not going to promote any products that I would not use myself
I will not recommend to my family and I would not recommend to my parents and I
would not recommend to the people I care about and I love so don't bother
approaching me to promote these kind of products and this this is the promise I
make to you guys watching these videos I will not promote these kind of products
so you're not going to get that you're not gonna get bro science fake you know
tips on training and nutrition that you hear from some people in gyms and some
personal trainers I'm not gonna get into that I'm not gonna really talk about
that I will only give you sports nutrition and performance and training
advice that has been scientifically proven to work through research studies
through decades of following athletes and how they've performed and how they
actually achieve the results that they're looking to achieve at the same
time what I will be offering you is techniques tips nutrition sleep all
these you know health habits all of these kinds of tools and techniques that
not only have changed my life but I've actually I've actually tested working
with athletes I've worked like I said I work with athletes all the way from
people who are suffering from hormonal issues to people who are looking to
qualify for World Championships I'm currently consulting for a number of
athletes looking to qualify for the Tokyo Olympic Games and these are the
kinds of people I work with and these are the kinds of people I will test my
techniques on and if they work for them they will work for other people but this
is exactly what this channel is about this channel is not about pushing
product it's not about making false claims or giving you training tips that
are fake this is not the channel about picking up on what's hot and trending
right now like keto or ketosis and then everybody jumps on that bandwaggon
without really understanding the science behind ketosis there are certain
benefits and there are cons of being in ketosis all the time it drives me crazy
when I see videos of people on YouTube who are six-pack abs and ripped and
they're saying ketosis is the best thing since sliced bread no it isn't it's not
that healthy for you it is healthy to go into ketosis for a period of time and
get out for a period of time these are the things that I will share with you to
try to bust these myths and give you tips on training and advice and now what
you will get through this channel is an insight into how I live my lifestyle I'm
going to try to format all these videos based on what I do from the moment I
wake up in the morning to the moment I go to bed what do I eat what do I drink
how do I train what supplements do I use all of these types of things I will show
you so that you can actually see that I'm doing the things that I'm talking
about I'm not just kind of giving you generic advice that is not proven to
work so this is what my channel is about it's about teaching it's about teaching
science based techniques and sports nutrition and sports performance and
training that are going to get you the results that you are looking for and to
try and make you the best version of yourself physically that you can be so
please subscribe to the channel or have a look at the rest of the videos like I
said I just started this channel I have another channel which is based on
similar approaches to other aspects of your life so career making money
relationships networking I've done the exact same approach so looking at the
scientific research in all of these areas and trying to get all the
techniques and extract all the techniques and methods to achieve that
kind of success in all those areas that's another channel that I have but
this channel is dedicated purely on health and fitness and giving you the
best possible advice I can find and share with you on being the healthiest
person you can be have a look at the videos let me know if there's anything
that you'd like me to talk about anything you'd like me to address in a
particular in more detail and I will do my best to make that happen and I want
this to be as interactive as possible this channel so again please comment as
much as you can in the comment box if you have any questions you have any
concerns if you disagree with me or anything please do let me know because
the the more we make this into a community the more we can help each
other because I'm not done with my journey I'm 40 years old now and I want to
continue the journey be the healthiest person I can be going
forward and I hope you join me on that journey thank you guys for watching and
for staying this long on this video and please have a look at the videos and let
me know what you think
you
