The cover up: Malaysian officials reveal just how much 1MDB probe was obstructed - Duration: 7:04.
The cover-up: Malaysian officials revealed just how
much 1mdb probe was obstructed the government the former Malaysian Prime
Minister Najib Razak spent years systematically obstructing probes into
the alleged looting of state fund 1mdb while also ruthlessly muzzling critics
according to current and former government officials they said the
meddling in the investigation by the Malaysian anti-corruption Commission
MACC effectively shut down local inquiries into the scandal at one
Malaysia Development Ferg had 1mdb even as five other countries including the
United States Switzerland and Singapore carried out their own probes any

the witnesses they had been coached on what to say or were too frightened to
talk because they had been threatened other witnesses couldn't be found
there were some witnesses who disappeared ran abroad and some are
clearly told by officials from other government agencies to do so said the
Mac official he didn't name these witnesses because Sullivan and Marsh

comment on 1mdb Mac is supposed to be an independent government agency that works

personal bank accounts Najib told Reuters in an interview last month he
shouldn't be blamed for any of the problems at the fund and declared he
knew nothing about why hundreds of millions of dollars from 1mdb allegedly
appeared in his bank account some of the ways in which those looking into the
1mdb scandal had been sidelined have been known for sometime
for example in July 2015 Najib removed the then Attorney General Abdul Gani

he was being followed by Malaysian government agents we didn't know who

Mack official also said police interfered in Mack's
investigations as they closed in on a probe on how about ten point six million

How to Set up Lighting for YouTube and which lights to buy UNDER $100!!! - Duration: 4:08.
I just destroyed half my body and half my house to illustrate a point that I
probably could have just told you on camera. Lighting is super important so
today we're looking at how to set up lighting for your YouTube videos and how
you can do it for under 100 bucks let's go
First off let's look at a couple lighting options that you can buy
depending on your budget. If you want to go more high-end and advanced I've got
the Neewer, newer new or something or other I don't know how to pronounce it
I'll put it in the description below behind me these guys are 900 LED light
bulbs they have crazy brightness you can turn them all the way up or adjust them
accordingly, which is a good feature.
You are getting what you pay for
however these lights will run you about a hundred bucks per light.
If you want to go a little bit cheaper but still really effective we've got the softbox set for
only about 60 bucks which is crazy to soft boxes that you can remove the
actual softbox from so you can get a hard light or a soft light for 60 bucks
seems like a no-brainer.
On the even cheaper end we've got the Viltrox
panel light. It works off a battery, it's super small, super thin, super light but
really powerful so it's a great light for setting up in your studio at home or
even taking with you on the road it's a beauty and you should have one the last
thing is the Aputure M9 and I said that you should have the Viltrox light
but if you're gonna get just one light make it the Aputure M9. The things the
size of a credit card so you can put in your bag you put in your pocket take it
with you and it's even a great option for a studio or like a fill light or a
key light behind you definitely something worth picking up.
So now that we've gone through the actual lights you can mix and match different ones
depending on your budget depending on your needs and you can create a lighting
setup that's gonna work perfectly for your vlogs for your intros for
interviews everything and that's all going to be done using the three-point
lighting system.
The three-point lighting system is very straightforward
you've got your key light nice and close very bright right on the subject you've
got your fill light which is a little bit further away or dimmer depending on
your lighting setup and then you've got your backlight or hair light to add like
a nice glow around the edges of the subject just to make them pop out a
little bit from the background now a three lighting setup isn't always
available to everyone which is why I have the budget options personally what
I would go with is the two soft boxes and maybe the Aputure or the Viltrox
light is your hair light it's small you can keep it out of the way and it's
still powerful. The thing is the two those two
smaller lights are a little bit more harsh
so the softboxes would be better focused on like the front of you whereas those
ones behind the back making a nice hard edge as you can see right here would be ideal
So depending on your needs and your budget there's definitely a
solution for everyone you can mix and match and combine lights and find out
what works best for you. If you have any other questions be sure
to drop them in the comments below, I'll try to answer them as best I can and
hopefully you guys like this video if you did subscribe or hit that like
button maybe even turn on notifications so I can catch you in the next one. Later guys.
Nobody turn off the light so I **** don't kill myself again, Jesus.

Mon set up matos et programmes - Duration: 2:57.
Hello everyone. It's Lou's screenshot Tuto. Today I'm going
introduce you to my set up ie to my material and the programs that
I use for this youtube channel and you will see that you do not need a
egg material to get to do some small videos. My computer
is well it's a and MSI exactly the one you see here on the screen. AT
the time I was pretty nomadic when I I bought it and it is very convenient.
I have in addition a second screen that I connected to my MSI with a small
adapter which allows me to work in good conditions on
mounting. As a mouse, a gift birthday, a logitech with full
of buttons. Honestly she is very very very well and ergonomically in the
taken in hand but I really use not all buttons. In helmet it's
a very basic Plantronic headset that costs about twenty euros and that makes
well his office microphone headset. I am for my audio recordings. For
filming I'm using a Sony A3000, a
small SLR in hybrid of good quality with a small tripod for
stabilize the images,
even if it's a tripod in the first prices. From time to time he
I happen to film with my mobile, my smartphone it's a Samsung Galaxy
Grand Prime who is now four years old and it still works very well.
At the software level for editing, I use AVS video editor which is not
very expensive and with which I can when even make montages of a
relatively good quality. For the sound I use Audacity which is a program
free which allows you to have sound montages correct. For the images
image processing there too a free software which is Photofiltre
with which I also make my vignettes.
I still put the following office, me personally I use but there is
also means of using solutions alternatives to microsoft with the
free software, do not hesitate to get them. It is
all for today. I hope my set up has convinced you,
if you liked: an inch, subscribe, activate the bell.
See you soon for a new tutorial.

What is a Retargeting Pixel and How to Set it Up - Duration: 8:48.
what's going on guys welcome to the video today we're going to talk about
retarding pixels and I want to teach you exactly what it is how to use it and how
to set it up alright guys so here we are and I'm going to teach you exactly what
a retargeting pixel is and how to use it and we're gonna jump on my computer and
I'm going to show you how to set it up now it's really really simple
essentially what a retarding pixel is is it's something that you set up on your
landing page or your website that runs in the background that nobody can see
it's a it's a software to keep it short essentially and what it does is that it
sits on your website or your landing page we're just draw up here it's in the
background nobody can see it and you set it up that way and every single time
somebody hits your landing page or your website that person ends up coming down
here and they're stored in the pixel on the back end okay so that's essentially
what the retargeting pixel is now the way that you can use this to run ads or
to run more profitable ads whether that's drop shipping whether that's
private labeling whether that's you know something you're trying to someone
online course whether you're trying to get something whatever it is there's a
million different reasons or possibilities mold it to whatever you
want to take it as however what typically you do is you run something
free and you generate traffic to a landing page you give it away for free
and then like I said the people that hit that landing page end up in your
targeting pixel which is in the back end and what you do is once you have all
these people in your targeting pixel you know it's it's gonna save all those
people and then what you do is you use AdWords Bing ads or Facebook or off
three of them and you run ads from those ad platforms specifically following the
people from your ad pixel and your retargeting pixel right here from your
website all around the the Internet so typically if you want to run running on
Facebook that's fine if you want to run them on AdWords on Google that's fine
too if you want to run them on YouTube for Google that's also fine if you want
to run them on 'big also fine and typically what you do is you're gonna
follow these people to hit your website that are also already more inclined to
know you and want this topic because you ran them to the offer and they ended up
on this any page or your website you already
know that they're more inclined to want that and they already know who you are
so it really really really takes the barrier to entry out for you to sell
them so to speak and that's essentially what the retargeting pixel does so it
sits up on the background just to recap we capture those people in your pixel
you then target those people on your pixel really really easily from an ad
platform and you follow them around to Facebook YouTube Google all throughout
the internet whatever and that's how you get more profitable ads now this is what
people typically do and this is what you don't want to do so you do want to do
the pixel now most people will they'll take one of these ad platforms and
though we run specific demographics or they'll try to run targeted you know ads
to specific you know niches or age groups or keywords or something like
that can you have success like that yes you can however what you're basically
doing is you're just taking shots in the dark and hoping that you hit something
and you're wasting a lot of money doing so so what somebody basically will do is
we're running a drop shipping store for example based on women's clothes I don't
know why as you said women's clothes just popped in my mind
essentially what somebody would do is maybe they're they're trying to sell a
shield so they might sell they might look for people that are more inclined
on what heels they might look for women that are you know twenty to thirty and
they also might look for I don't know that much about women's closed clothes
you know somebody that is also more inclined to wear stockings I don't even
know if that's a thing anymore but we're gonna roll with it and hopefully what
they're gonna hope for is that all of these have an overlap at some point
either here here here but hopefully here and they'll be most profitable in this
where all three of those overlap because they're demographics that are more
inclined to want that that you know those heels or or that that'd be more
kind to like that drop shipping store and that's okay that can work in some
instances and it can return profitable hats however just like I talked about
you're basically taking shots in the dark and wasting money why not
run ads to give away something for free potentially in the first place or to
start a YouTube channel to give away something for free or pay then scram
influencer to give away something for free based on you know a free you know
stocking or something like that for somebody that is into heels or something
along those lines it's related to that niche drive people to this page
relatively cheaply because you're not really necessarily spending to too much
you're giving something away free so they'll be more in trying to go there
and get it then you capture those people with the targeting pic all over the
place here sorry then you capture those people that hit
that landing page with your targeting pixel and then you re target the
targeting pixel back with the ads that's how you get more profitable
that's retargeting and nutshell and that's how you set the targeting pixel
up to work and be more profitable for you
now we're gonna jump over to my Peter and I'm going to show you how to set it
up all right guys here we are on my business manager now this is one of my
accounts that I wrong you can have multiple ad accounts and I'm gonna show
you exactly how to get your targeting pixel and set it up now here we are in
business matters like I said you're gonna come over to all tools and then go
to pixels that's gonna take you over here to pixels and you're gonna create
your pixel then just like any of them it's gonna run you through the exact
process so you're gonna create your pixel and then it's gonna walk you
through how to set it up so I'm using specifically here I'm using Facebook you
know business manager and I'm also using Wix and I'm using one of my old websites
that I don't use anymore my social media marketing original website that I don't
you know obviously you know have a premium account for anymore however it's
relatively the same across platforms so you can use the same thing on Adwords
and they'll walk you through it there's obviously the integration manager here
and it's the same on pretty much any site builder or any landing page so
there's multiple ways that you can essentially do it you can obviously
manually install yourself which is relatively easy you can if you have a
developer or somebody running your site you can email the instructions to them
but you're watching this so chances are that is not you and you also see that
you can use the integration tag manager here which works with all of these so it
does work with Wix it worked to skip Squarespace
Google tag rule commerce big commerce Magento there's a million of them
Shopify and it really will walk you through how to set it up yourself it's
very very easy so I'm gonna click that and then you're gonna basically choose
what it is so I'm gonna go with Wix and then it's gonna walk you through exactly
what to do so login your Wix account hit manage website from the left menu
tracking in analytics new tools set up Facebook so you're
gonna go into settings
huit going to manage your website sorry go down into it's been a minute since
I've done this tracking and analytics then you're going to add a new tool and
you're see here that it's gonna let you do all these you're gonna want to add a
new tool obviously I'm not premium so I can't add the pixel but typically if
you're a premium site or you're running Shopify or something you're just gonna
have a new tool and then click on whichever one that is so if it's the
google adwords pixel you put it in there it's the Facebook pixel which is what
we're going through you're putting it in here so that's simple and obviously as
you continue to click continue it's gonna walk you through and it's gonna
give you your pixel ID then you're simply gonna copy it in you're gonna
paste it into this thing once you open this up and boom your pixel is installed
now I went through that relatively fast it was really really easy and really
really quick but like I said it doesn't matter if you're using Wix Shopify if
you're using AdWords if you're using any of these platforms they have a
walkthrough manager that will do it for you it's literally that simple
so I hope you guys like this video I hope you take action on it and start
installing your pixels so that you can run more targeted ads that are more
profitable if you like this content if you thought that I brought you a lot of
value today please hit that like button and let me know that I'm on the right
track also drop a comment down below and let me know if you've ever ran a pixel
before and if you've ever retargeted advertising on a pixel and let me know
your results and I'll see you in the next one

'The Handmaid's Tale' Star Sydney Sweeney on Pressure to "Live Up' to Her Role | In Studio with THR - Duration: 10:31.
(upbeat music)
- I'm Oliver Trevena, In Studio for the Hollywood Reporter,
joined by the lovely Sydney Sweeney.
- Hi.
- How are ya? - I'm good, how are you?
- You're busy.
- I've been very busy.
- Non-stop, non-stop.
Project to project to project, you're just non-stop.
- I like to work.
- You do like to work, which is incredible,
cause you're very young, and yet,
like a decade of experience already.
- I feel old though.
- You do? - Yes.
- Do I look old?
(Sydney laughs)
So yeah, but I'm sorry about the feeling.
That comes with a lot of work, yeah.
- Gotta grown up some day.
- There you go, there you go, this is true, this is true.
Let's talk about Handmaid's Tale, what an entrance, Eden.
- Yes. - Yeah, that was quite a dark,
kind of eerie way to go into something I guess--
- It is, it definitely- - Is a short way
of puttin' it.
- Disruptive, and-
- Yeah, yeah.
Kinda like you, disruptive.
- Yeah.
- Exactly, exactly.
How is it going into a show like that?
The, you know, obviously the second season,
but the first season, I mean, the successes.
I mean, it's huge, it's one
of the biggest shows, you know, today.
So how is it going into a show like that?
- It was very intimidating.
- And I felt like I had a lot I needed
to live up to to be able to carry Eden
and meet these incredible actors, so.
- And you mentioned the cast and yeah,
that's another plus as well.
- Elizabeth Moss,
oh my gosh. - Wow, I mean
Yvonne Strahovski, Max Minghella, I mean, Joseph Fiennes.
It's literally one of those lists
that you look at and you're like,
oh my word, they're all in the same show.
- Mhm.
- So you auditioned for the show.
- Yes. - A lot pressure on that?
- Yes, I actually, I hadn't seen the show yet-
- Oh that's probably a good thing.
- Until I got the audition. - That's a good thing then.
- And then I was like, I'll watch the first episode
to kind of get a feeling for the show,
and I ended up watching the entire season that night.
- Because you wanted to.
- Because I couldn't stop.
- Okay. - It was like what happens?
And then I ran outta my room, went to my mom's room,
was like, "You have to watch this show,"
and we watched it all over again.
- Amazing, amazing.
And then of course, did you,
did you read the book then, or you-
- When I got the callback, then I read the book that day,
and then I auditioned again and I read with Max.
- That's a lot to do, in a short time span.
- It was, it was a lot of studying, a lot of homework.
- Okay. - I wanted to make sure
that I knew how Eden would be,
what a child in Gilead would be like, and I wanted
to make sure that I could portray that in the audition.
- Yeah it's so much, I guess, to think about,
because even the pairing, you and Max, like it's not like
what people would put together but obviously for this show,
it's what works, but how is it?
Is it strange on set, playing this?
'Cause I mean the wedding scene in particular, it's weird.
- It was weird. - It's weird.
It's like, it's, I'm actually starting
to sweat a little bit and it's not the turtleneck,
it's just thinking about that wedding scene.
- It was a little weird but Max is so great to work with
because we came such good friends
that it was hanging out on set and goofing off
and listening to Taylor Swift and...
- So that, I have to be honest, that's not
what I expected on the set of Handmaid's Tale.
- Yep. - Okay.
- So that's gone on. - We listen to Taylor Swift
and joke around and it's a lot of fun.
- So it's very lighthearted?
- It is, completely different than
when you're actually in the scene.
- Okay, which is good, because I think going
into a show like that, that's quite dark and eerie,
and then you've got pull yourself out of it.
- It's good to have something to take you out.
And the crew are all nice and fun,
so you never get stuck in it.
- Okay.
There's nothing better than Taylor Swift to pull you out of-
- Yes. - Out of a tough moment.
So what can we expect from Eden?
What's going on?
Can you give us much?
- She's going to do the unexpected.
- Okay.
I could see that.
You strike, Eden strikes me as someone
that you just might just shock,
shock value, I guess, shock value.
- Completely. I mean she's a true believer.
It's all she knows is-
- Right. - Gilead,
and to become a commander's wife
and to have a child, and just imagine a 15 year old
who only knows that and wants that
and what she is going to do.
- Right, yeah, you can see it in her eyes.
- Mhm. - She's focused.
- She's very focused,
she knows what she wants. - She's very focused, okay.
- She knows what God wants from her.
- There you go, watch this space, watch this space.
Well one small project to another, Sharp Objects.
- Yes. - HBO miniseries,
with Amy Adams.
- Amy Adams, - Love the Amy.
Jean-Marc Vallée.
- Yeah. - Incredible.
- Another small cast to go into.
You're just tickin' boxes like dream, dream castmates.
- It's been an amazing year.
- It has been an incredible year,
it's gonna be an incredible few years, yeah-
- I hope so. - And you just keep going.
What can you tell us about Sharp Objects?
I know not a lot, but what can you tell us?
- Well about my character specifically,
it's more in Amy Adam's character, Camille's past,
and my character has a dark upbringing, and a dark presence.
That's pretty much- - That's it?
- All I can say about it.
- It's another thriller from what I've heard about it,
it's another quite, it's quite dark.
- It is, it's dark-
- It's dark again? - It's twisted,
it has that beautiful Big Little Lies-
- Right, right. - Feeling because
of Jean-Marc Vallée and everyone involved,
and it's very twisted, I mean,
Gillian Flynn wrote the incredible book, so-
- Right, right, right, right, exactly.
- Have that. - Once again,
a lot of pressure going into a project this,
with a fan base and everything already there.
- Yeah.
- How have the fans reacted to Handmaid's Tale, by the way?
Do you keep up to date with all that?
- What was interesting was the other day,
I was at a restaurant.
- Okay. - And I was sitting there
and I heard the table next to us
talking about Handmaid's Tale,
and I was like, "Oh my gosh, like, oh no,"
and they started talking about Eden, and they were like,
"I hate her! Taking Nick away from June,"
and I was like, "Oh my god, I'm leaving."
- Did it really make you feel uncomfortable?
Is it really bad? - Yes, I felt so bad.
I was like, "I'm not meaning to.", no.
- You shoulda just turned around and said something.
- No I left.
- It'd been like that moment in Notting Hill.
You remember when they were talking about...
Have you seen Notting Hill?
I don't know why I'm giving a reference
to this girl. - No.
- Oh, it's an amazing movie, but Julia Roberts is at a table
and they're saying how they hate her,
and it's a great, you've gotta watch that tonight.
- I'll watch it, okay. - That's your homework.
That's your homework, yeah,
like you don't have enough to do.
Yeah, and it's- - No, so I've noticed
like a lot of people dislike Eden
because of the whole Nick and June-
- Right, right. - Romance,
and also Eden just is so blinded by Gilead,
so she's dangerous in that way.
And then some people are like,
"Oh my god we love her. She's so young and..."
- Right. - She's corrupted,
we need save her," so.
- Just to clear this up, people watching, Sydney's lovely.
It's all pretend, it's all pretend.
If you're in a restaurant and you see her,
it's just pretend.
- Thank you.
- So, we don't want any fights in restaurants, do we?
- No. - Sounds like they were
really gonna go after ya.
Another project, another project.
This could be a really long interview,
but we're gonna have to stop at some point.
Under the Silver Lake?
- Yes. - Yes,
an amazing movie, talk about that.
- Andrew Garfield, incredible.
(Oliver coughs)
- I mean it's not even name dropping,
'cause it's just, it's true.
It's everyone you are working with.
It's getting amazing reviews,
people are talkin' about it, which is a plus.
- Yeah. - In a very positive way.
People could be talking about it in the other way.
- No it's good.
It's set in the seventies,
so fun berets, fur jackets, high heels.
- Okay, you say that like you really love it,
but obviously you have no recollection
of the seventies, that's one thing for sure.
- I enjoyed those days.
- Yeah, you loved those days, aging very well.
Sydney Sweeney, born in '69.
Yeah, so how was that, getting to like,
going to the seventies a little bit?
- It was fun, I, they put extensions
in my hair, crazy outfits.
I was like a call girl in the seventies.
- Right, there you go.
- So, it fun. - Did mum like it?
Did mum help like, see the outfits?
- I sent a few pictures to my mom.
- Okay. - Yeah, it wasn't that bad.
Like short swimsuits and fishnets
and giant fur jackets, so it was more like a playful,
with the colors and the fabrics and-
- Sounds like you love it.
- I did, I really enjoyed it.
It's different than me-
- Right right. - So it was cool
to be able to jump outta that.
- Which is great. - Mhm.
- Perks of the job.
- Yes. - Perks of the job.
Do you have a favorite genre?
'Cause you're jumpin' around, like is there one, do you-
- Love it all.
- You do? - Mhm.
- You don't tend to follow the darkness?
- I mean I like the darkness.
- You do, right, see,
there you go. - But I love to try
and have a foot in every single different genre
and category. - Doin' it all?
- Mhm. - See?
And so, at such a young age.
I mentioned this at the start of the interview,
but over a decade of experience, and very young.
What have you learned along this,
along the way, the journey so far?
What's been the tough part?
- Well the tough part is just growing up in general,
and then you- - Right, I'm still struggling
with that. - Yeah.
- Everyday.
- It was a lot more pressure on who you are,
who you're gonna be, and you really need to know who you are
and be confident and comfortable
in who you are, and not get sucked into-
- Right. - The bad scenes.
And I was really lucky to have my parents
who kept me grounded and school was always first.
So I had that, and that was important to me.
- M'kay.
That's good, that's good.
You're on the right track.
- I hope so.
- We mentioned all the cast's names that we've dropped
between the two of us during this interview.
Who haven't you worked with
that you'd love to work with next?
- Ah, Leonardo DiCaprio.
- No question, didn't even pause,
straight out there, okay. - I know that one, 100%.
- Dreamt, always wanted.
- Look at that, okay, well I could easily see it happening.
- I hope so.
- We're gonna do the THR's top five.
Five easy questions for ya.
- Okay. - You look really worried.
You look like Eden for a minute, and I was like,
"Settle down. They're just questions. There just questions."
Movie you watched as a kid that you wished you read?
- Titanic.
- If I get a Leo reference to every one of these questions.
- You might.
- Okay, this is gonna be weird
because you're young, but first moment
that comes to mind when I say career highlight.
So far.
- Handmaid's Tale.
- That's a good one, yeah.
I figured it might be that,
but you never know, you never know.
- Mhm.
- Those eyes again, it's freaking me out.
Describe your journey as an actress so far in one word.
- Challenging.
- That's a good one.
We're finding that a lot of actresses are using
the word challenging, 'cause it's true.
If you weren't an actress you would be?
- A professional wakeboarder.
- Is that so you could wakeboard with Leo?
Is that a Leo reference too?
Maybe. - If he does, then hey.
- You're in, you're in. - I'm ready.
- One random fact that we don't know about you.
First thing that comes to mind.
- I built a tree house when I was 12.
- You did?
- Yeah, is that a random fact? - On your own?
- Yeah. - It works, it's random
but it's also impressive.
- It was the first thing that came to my mind.
- But actually you built it.
- Yeah. - That is my,
that is, you can tell I don't build anything,
that's how I build, okay.
- I did, I created a pulley system.
I built a little ladder, and then I pulled
the wood up, and I made a tree house.
- Okay, look at that.
- Random fact.
- Sydney Sweeney: actress and tree house builder.
It's a good back-up gig.
- Thanks. - 'Kay.
