How To Make a Motorized Timelapse Rotator with $10 - Duration: 6:48.
hello word its Iron from Kongdole production so some of you guys has been
asking which camera we took time-lapse footages with so I use this Chinese
action camera and talking about the time lapses they are great for expressing the
passing of time but they easily gets boring and that's one issue so I was
thinking of using panning time-lapses panning time lenses use special devices
called camera rotators so the camera rotates at a constant speed giving you a
panoramic feeling today I'm gonna build a motorized time-lapse rotator this is
insane yeah I know but three two one fire
no no no since we're taking time-lapses it should turn really slowly so let's
get started
I started by drawing some sketches it is important for rotator to make a turn
at a constant speed so I thought a tiny stepper motor would work
then I designed some parts to put the motor and electronics in
by the way I use fusion 360 for designing things
3d printing will take about a couple of hours
the camera mount uses a 1/4 bolt so I cut the camera bolt using milling
machine
unfortunately I noticed something the thread of the bolt was damaged so it
didn't fit the mount
it turns but it seems a quite a bit fast now it's time to put a speed control dial
then i soldered everything mmm it always smells terrible
I used an Arduino Pro Mini for the microcontroller because an Arduino Uno
or nano they're too big to fit in the case
a DC-DC converter was used to supply the voltage to the circuit then I
wrote a bunch of code the code simply reads the value from potentometer and
set the speed of moter.
wow what an awesome day see
I actually used this to take a few time lapses
please enjoy
so how do you think? isn't it cool? I was actually surprised because the tiny
stepper motor gave a much smoother result than I expected and it cost
about ten bucks including the stepper motor Arduino and other electronics so
if you want to get special time-lapse footage this it would be a great weekend
project if you need any of my modeling files or source code please leave a
comment below and if you have any question or brilliant idea that you want
to make something, please let us know by leaving some comments over here!
So, thank you for watching guys. See you in the next episode.

Prince Charles to make special appearance on BBC's Gardeners' World - Duration: 1:57.
The Prince of Wales, a keen gardener, will be interviewed at Highgrove by presenter Adam Frost for an episode to be broadcast on July 18
Mr Frost said: "Back in February I was invited to a meeting at Highgrove with members from across the horticultural industry to discuss the problem of pests and diseases and what could be done about them
"One of the outcomes was Action Oak - a campaign launched at the Chelsea Flower show to help protect our iconic oak
"It is made up of charities, environmental organisations and land owners who are using their combined knowledge to safeguard the beautiful trees
"Today the prince has invited me back to Highgrove to explain why we as gardeners also need to do our bit
" Charles has spent nearly 40 years transforming the gardens at Highgrove from overgrown and neglected land and he will tell Frost about the steps he is taking within the Duchy of Cornwall, which covers 53,000 hectares of land across 23 British counties to avoid the spread of plant diseases and pests
He will also talk about his first-hand experience of diseases such as Dutch Elm Disease, Ash Dieback and Phytophthora Ramorum from his management of the estate
The episode of Gardeners' World will air on BBC Two at 8pm on July 18.

Inter-Korean efforts to make Koreas green again - Duration: 3:04.
Now we dig a little deeper into some of the potential projects that could actually take
effect,… as the two sides are sit down today for talks on a joint forestry program.
In the first part of our two part series,... we take a look at the inter-Korean efforts
to make both Koreas a little bit greener.
It marks the comeback of a once-jointly run project between the two Koreas.
The two sides once held hands on joint forestry projects in the late 1990s.
But those projects were put on the backburner in 2010 when tensions spiked following a series
of military provocations by North Korea.
However, with the cloud of tensions and threats lifted,... just like many other joint initiatives
now being set up by Seoul and Pyongyang,... this one may end up being a long-term project
between the two.
However, both sides are realistic, considering the reality of North Korea's circumstances.
Some two-point-eight million hectares of forest had been cut down in North Korea as of 2008,…
and that's nearly double the amount of bare land compared to just a decade earlier.
It's so bad that a UK-based risk consulting company assessed North Korea's deforestation
as the third worst in the world in 2012.
"Precisely understanding the situation in North Korea is the most crucial first step.
It's necessary if the two sides are going to be able to make a difference.
However, we believe it will be different this time due to Pyongyang's determination."
That determination,… reflected in its leader Kim Jong-un's efforts to restore a semblance
of environmental care in his country: announcing plan to plant 6-and-a-half billion trees by
2023and even opening up a forestry science school at the elite Kim Il-sung University
in Pyongyang.
The forestry project between the two Koreas, although still very much in its infancy, could
branch out in a number of ways.
Comprehensive projects related to forest-and-agriculture already seem to be coming down the pipeline.
Related businesses' stock prices have shot up over the past couple of weeks,... especially
those involved in forest restoration, cultivating saplings, mineral exploration,... and seed
production.
"We are looking to start with cabbage, corn, broccoli and radish.
Crops like these bring about quick benefits.
especially with some of them being native to our soil.
They are most suitable when we consider the environmental circumstances."
The sentiment this time is more positive,... with North Korea showing a strong inclination
to follow through on its pledges.
Environmentalists here in South Korea have one thing in mind,... improving this fertile
land bestowed to us by our ancestors... and adding a lot more greenery along the way.

How to make your own split cakes for face painting - Duration: 8:27.
hey guys Maria Mitchell here thanks for joining me for another face painting
tutorial in this lesson we're going to learn how to make our own split cakes
I love face painting with split cakes because you can save a tonne of time in
using split cakes or one strokes to form design say for instance I've got a
crocodile here which I've used with a half inch flat brush now I wouldn't have
been able to get this effect as quickly with a brush dipped in green then lime
then a bit of yellow that would have taken me a lot longer as opposed to
grabbing my split cake loading it up and painting along now these split cakes are
fantastic and they make amazing combination of colors that look
fantastic together and if you don't want to make them yourself feel free to buy
them so these split cakes can cost up to say fourteen up to sixteen dollars
whereas these individual solid colors can cost you from seven to about eight
nine dollars and by having a range of variety of colors here you can customize
them to whichever color combination you would like so if you want to save money
on split cakes and please stick around and I'll show you how to make your own
what you'll need is a sharp knife a paper towel just to wipe your fingers it
can get a bit messy and the colors that you're wanting to create your split cake
with now some time ago I bought a really pretty tag custom made split cake it was
a rainbow one and I haven't been able to find it anywhere so I thought I'd create
my own so I've been recreating this one for quite some time now and it works
brilliantly for rainbows so as a container we're using your old split
cake container or you can use the lead of a split cake container the difference
is we'll put two layers for each color on this one or three layers to fill it
right possesses this one's a lot deeper and
with this one we'll only use one layer so it won't last as long as these ones
take the container and I will bring it upside down and I will make sure that
the edge of it is nicely snug to the edges of this circle and I'll just tap
it down for a bit just to get an indent of the length so there we have a bit of
an indent so then what I'll do with that indication of the indent I'm gonna grab
my knife I'm gonna split it right through the middle split it up the top
and down the bottom always making sure that they're completely dry when doing
this now because I'm doing four colors here I want each color to be relatively
thin because I need to fit them all in this container so what I'll do I'll just
line it up one on top of the other with the one that you're cutting on top with
my knife I'll just place it right here and that's given me a good indication of
the line the width of the line that I need to cut so roughly cut that down and
you need to make sure you get right down to the bottom right from the bottom I'm
going to pull it up and off doesn't matter if it rips a little that's fine
we can always press it down when we're laying it into our split cake container
so just carefully pulling it up so it all stays together some of them are
drier than others you'll find when doing this so there we have a nice rectangle
so what I'll do here is I'm just gonna place it right there onto the split cake
container and I'm just gonna press it down it's gonna make sure that we get
all of it right in there making sure also that you're pressing it to the edge
so you don't have a gap between the edge and the paint now we lined it again so
that I can get a rough idea as to how wide I want this strip to be so pressing
right down making sure that the tip of our knife touches the bottom of the cake
and now just with your finger pulling it off just like that
placing it on top of the other one so we're doing two layers here and there we
have the blue layer of the rainbow cake because I'm doing another color I just
want to wipe off this blue off the tip so again we're going to push it to the
edge and we're just going to make an indentation so I'm gonna do the same
it's going to lie flat right down the bottom there I'm going to push it right
down with my fingers and make sure that it's nicely snug next to the blue and
that's second layer pushing it toward the blue just to make it nice and
compact heading right down to the bottom
now because we need to fit the last one in we want as much room at the end here
as possible so we push these colors together
and it won't matter because in the end we'll press it all down and it'll all
they'll all press into each other
I'm just going to squeeze it all down and that's going to allow all of the
layers to squeeze into the red so by squeezing all of them down and
there you have your very own homemade split cake now you're ready to paint to
your heart's content thanks for watching if you got something out of this and
make sure that you give it a thumbs up and don't forget to subscribe if you
have any face painting related questions or you need something that you need
clarified make sure you comment down below and I'll do my absolute best to
share my knowledge with you in the next video I'm on Instagram Facebook and

BREAKING: Former House IT aide pleads guilty to making false statement - 247 news - Duration: 8:48.
Imran Awan, an IT aide to Democrats including Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, pleaded guilty Tuesday to a single false statement charge after President Trump urged he not get lenient treatment
He issued his plea in federal court in Washington, D.C. Tuesday, even as the government acknowledged it had no evidence he broke the law through his work dealing with servers and data for lawmakers as a House employee
Trump had intervened on Twitter, asking that Awan not be let 'off the hook' and raising questions about possible data theft
'The Government has uncovered no evidence that your client violated federal law with respect to the House computer system,' according to the plea, CNN reported
Awan was being prosecuted on bank fraud charges – in a case that took on deeper potential implications stoked by the president
But the charge he ultimately pleaded to was unrelated to his work for the U.S. House or for high-profile Democrats, despite efforts by Capitol Hill Republicans and the president to stir up the case
One of his employers, Wasserman Schultz, was chair of the Democratic National Committee for much of the 2016 campaign
Wasserman Schultz grilled the chief of the Capitol police chief after investigators held onto her office server during the course of the investigation
She also resisted firing Awan for months despite the investigation.'Our Justice Department must not let Awan & Debbie Wasserman Schultz off the hook,' Trump tweeted in June amid reports of a possible plea deal
'The Democrat I.T. scandal is a key to much of the corruption we see today. They want to make a 'plea deal' to hide what is on their Server
Where is Server? Really bad!' he wrote. The government dropped fraud charges against awan's wife, Hina Alvi, Fox News reported
She left the country for Pakistan in advance of Awan's own effort to leave.Prosecutors said they had interviewed 40 witnesses in the case and did a 'thorough investigation' including forensic computer analysis
A sentencing hearing is set for August 21. Awan's lawyer said he would seek probation without a fine
Trump also drove interest in the case by calling Awan 'the Pakistani mystery man.' He asked during a New York Times interview last year: 'Whatever happened to this Pakistani guy who worked with the DNC?
With the two servers that they broke up into a million pieces?' Trump went after his own Justice Department over the case last month
Awan's lawyer, Christopher J. Gowen, pushed back after Trump's tweets."My client is not a 'spy,' nor part of a 'spy ring
' There has never been any missing server, smashed hard drives, blackmailed members of Congress, or breach of classified information
This was all made up, for purposes of clickbait, Fox News stories, and political opportunism,' he said, bashing 'repugnant behavior' at the top that he said 'displayed a complete lack of respect for law enforcement
'Trump tweeted about the case, involving a former aide to Florida Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, a day after Fox News reported the aide and his wife were poised to execute a plea deal with the government
'Our Justice Department must not let Awan & Debbie Wasserman Schultz off the hook
The Democrat I.T. scandal is a key to much of the corruption we see today. They want to make a 'plea deal' to hide what is on their Server
Where is Server? Really bad!' Trump wrote. According to a court filing on Tuesday, Imran Awan, the former IT staffer for Wasserman Schultz and other Democrats, and his wife Hina Alvi have a July 3 court hearing about the agreement
'The parties are currently exploring a possible resolution of this matter,' according to the filing by prosecutors, Fox News reported
'Therefore, the parties are requesting additional time in which to explore that resolution
' Share this article Share 72 shares It is unusual for a president to intervene in sensitive negotiations between parties in an active court case
Trump regularly attacked Wasserman Schultz during the campaign, when she ran the Democratic National Committee, and the DNC's hacked emails got posted online
The case has repeatedly been postponed over the last six months, stoking theories that there is more to the case than meets the eye
hours before meeting with the prime minister of Japan Awan and his wife have been charged with bank fraud, although some conservative web sites have raised theories that a computer server going missing and possible theft and potential security breach of congressional emails
When Trump invoked the server, it was unclear whether he was referring to a congressional computer
He has also blasted Democrats for not turning over the DNC's server to the FBI when a hack was first reported
'What ever happened to the Server, at the center of so much Corruption, that the Democratic National Committee REFUSED to hand over to the hard charging (except in the case of Democrats) FBI?' Trump tweeted in May, in reference to the DNC server
But GOP Rep. Scott Perry of Pennsylvania in the Fox report raised concerns about a server belonging to former Rep
Xavier Becerra of California, for whom Awan also worked. 'Over 5,700 logins by the five Awan associates were discovered on a single server within the House, the server of the Democratic Caucus Chairman, then Rep
Xavier Becerra of California. Up to 40 or more members of Congress had all of their data moved out their office servers and onto the Becerra server without their knowledge or consent,' he said in an opinion piece on Fox that suggests national security or terror implications to the case
Prosecutors say the couple got home equity loans based on properties that in fact were rentals, not their home
Awan's lawyers say he was not involved in a cyber breach.Last year Wasserman Schultz threatened 'consequences' to the chief of the Capitol Police when investigators refused to return a computer belonging to her congressional office as it investigated the case
Trump also this week attacked Attorney General Jeff Sessions and again branded the Mueller probe a 'witch hunt

Inter-Korean efforts to make Koreas green again - Duration: 3:02.

How to Make a Fingerprint Heart Painting | Sophie's World - Duration: 6:34.
hi I'm Sophie and welcome to my world recently my group took part in a
memorial service for one of our clients whose father had passed away suddenly
and they wanted to do something special where all the kids could could do
something that could be given to the family and so we came up with this great
idea of taking everybody's finger prints and turning them into a work of art and
we call this our you left fingerprints on my heart craft and I'm going to show
you how to make your very own right now for this project you'll need a canvas or
watercolor paper parchment paper blue tape scissors ink pads in different
colors a Sharpie pen baby wipes and a ruler so I'm going to be using this
little canvas I got this from the Dollar Tree and it's a small version of the big
one that I'm going to show you in the end and the reason that I'm doing a
small one is just because we can get the idea quickly and first thing you're
going to do is cut a piece of parchment paper to match the exact size then what
you're going to do is take your blue tape and you're going to lay the blue
tape just like we do a duct tape sticker you're going to lay the blue tape on top
of parchment paper and you're going to do this in strips and what you want to
do is make sure that you are overlapping by at least a quarter to a half an inch
on that blue tape that's super important so I've got my overlap there and then I
got one last piece here
if it doesn't go all the way to the edge that's okay because we're not going to
cover the entire piece now what you're going to do is fold this in half so that
the parchment paper faces out now this is the size of your frame so you don't
want to when you cut out your heart you don't want to go all the way up to the
edge you want to leave what we call some negative space so I'm going to cut my
heart and if you don't know how to cut a card I do have a tutorial on how to cut
a heart practice that and then you can cut your very own heart here the
templates I couldn't do a template for you because it's gonna vary according to
the size of your piece of artwork but as you can see I'm just cutting out and up
and over shape a little loop de loop to make a heart now when you open this up
you're left with a stencil peel off the blue tape and here's where you want to
use that ruler to find the center and mark it which is what I did here I just
marked it with my Sharpie pen right there in the center so that I can then
line up that fold and when I folded it over right there at the center you
should be able to lay this at the top
and then smooth it down onto the canvas
now the way that this works best and the way that we used it is to set this up
sort of in the entryway as people arrive for the event and this is great for you
know just as people are arriving we got this amazing I love this this is a one
stamp pad but it's got eight different colors and this is just really fantastic
because people can choose their colors if you're going to do this though make
sure that you have some baby wipes on hand because people don't want to be
walking around with their finger you know all painted up they want to of
course take that paint off as quickly as possible so what I'm gonna do is just take my
thumbprint and I'm going to use this pink here
and one one thing that's really important when you do this project is
you want to make sure that you're getting the outer edges now if you've
got a lot of people coming to your event you only want to use one fingerprint per
person but in of course here I've only got me so I'm just going to be doing a
couple fingerprints as you can see I'm going around the outside and I'm making
sure that I get that edge now it doesn't matter that my fingerprint goes off the
edge of the template here that's okay that doesn't matter at all because
you'll see when we take it away it gives us a nice sharp edge where
that fingerprint is so I'm gonna wipe my finger off with the baby wipe and then
I'm gonna use a different finger and again this would be different people
doing this or if it's just your family and you want to do maybe just like four
or five different people doing this maybe give everybody one color they
could all choose a color and you just continue filling up the heart with your
fingerprints so you want to keep going and filling in all those spots so that
you end up with it looking like this see all those fabulous fingerprints all
around and see how I've really filled in the outer edges so that when I peel this
off at the end I've got a beautiful little heart and that's all there is to
creating your very own memory piece now I want to show you a bigger version
which is what we did for the event that I was talking about in the beginning and
you know what's really great is you could use this for a family reunion and
you don't have to do a heart you could do a number one for a first birthday or
if it's if it's a couple's anniversary you could be doing a big 5-0 it's really
you know up to your imagination as to what you want to create but what's great
is you're getting everybody to leave their impression on the artwork which i
think is pretty cool and pretty fun for more great ideas check us out at

Inter-Korean efforts to make Koreas green again - Duration: 3:02.
Now, those forestry projects could be pretty far reaching.
The North has decimated its forests over the years, so there's a lot of work to be done.
In the first part of a two-part series,... our Shin Se-min takes a look at these joint
efforts to make both Koreas greener.
That determination,… reflected in its leader Kim Jong-un's efforts to restore a semblance
of environmental care in his country: announcing plan to plant 6-and-a-half billion trees by
2023 and even opening up a forestry science school at the elite Kim Il-sung University
in Pyongyang.
