Moto G5S Plus vs MI A1 - Which One You Should Choose - Duration: 4:41.

Hey, everyone, this is Mohit Devda here and today, I am going to compare two most popular

smartphones under 20k that is MI A1 vs the Moto G5s Plus.

But before moving on, make sure to get subscribed and hit the bell icon to get notified for

all my future videos.

Now that you have done that, let's get started.

MI A1 and Moto G5s Plus are among the few devices that provide dual camera setup in

this price segment and give a tough competition to each other.

So, Starting with the design and build quality, the design is a subjective matter but personally,

I don't like the big camera bump of the Moto G5 editions.

But other than that, it is a well-built smartphone and looks good with its metal unibody design.

The MI A1, on the other hand, also has a metal body but the camera bump at the back may remind

you of the iPhone 7 Plus except for the led flash placement.

So, it is completely on you and the design choice may vary from person to person.

Now coming to the specs, there is not much to compare as both the smartphones have almost

same specifications except the dual cameras.

Both come with a 5.5-inch full HD display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

You get Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 Octa-core processor clocked at 2 GHz with 4 GB RAM and

64 GB internal storage which is expandable up to 128 GB.

Both have a hybrid slot so you have to choose between a 2nd sim card and a microSD card.

Moto G5s Plus runs the near-stock version of Android with some customizations from Moto

while the MI A1 is made in partnership with Google so it runs Pure stock android and will

also get Android P update.

Now, coming to the cameras, Moto G5s plus has an 8-megapixel front camera and a dual

13-megapixel camera setup at the back in which one is a monochrome sensor which captures

a black and white image and helps to get a more detailed final image and this can be

pretty useful while taking some low light shots.

Now, Talking about the MI A1, it has a 5-megapixel front camera and a dual 12-megapixel camera

setup at the back in which one is a telephoto lens which helps to get images with 2x optical

zoom and bokeh effect.

The Moto G5s plus comes with a 3000 mAh battery while the MI A1 has a slightly better 3080

mAh battery.

So, this was all for the specifications and as you can see both have almost identical

specifications, so in the final part of the video I will help you to decide which device

you should choose and why.

Now coming to the additional features, Moto G5s plus provides cool features with the front

camera like - panorama mode, beauty mode and pro mode along with an LED flash at the front.

You get moto actions like - Twist to quickly open the camera and some other fingerprint

gestures too.

The quick charging provided can give you up to 6 hours of battery life in just 15 minutes

but there is a negative point that moto chose to provide micro USB instead of the future

ready USB type-C port.

Talking about the MI A1, It has the beauty mode to capture some nice portrait shots.

It comes with an infrared sensor along with some pre-installed apps from which the Remote

app can be used to control your home appliances and also has the fast charging support but

its good that Xiaomi has provided USB type-C instead of the MicroUSB port.

The Moto G5s plus will cost you 16000 INR while the MI A1 will cost you 15000 INR.

So here is the conclusion, which device you should go for.

So, if you want good performance along with a selfie camera with led flash, good low-light

photography camera at the back, prefer the fingerprint sensor placement at the front,

want all those cool gesture shortcuts of moto phones and can manage with the micro USB,

then go for the Moto G5s Plus.

But if you want to spend less and want good performance with good cameras for portrait

shots and latest Android updates and fingerprint sensor at the back are among your list of

preferences, then you should go for the MI A1.
