'He Broke Me' – Kathy Griffin's Trump Press Conference Was Worse Than You Think [VIDEO] - Duration: 4:28.

Comedian Kathy Griffin held a horror show of a press conference Friday, complete with

tears and dick jokes.

On one hand, she reiterated her apology for posing for a picture with a bloodied beheaded

President Trump.

On the other, she played the victim, saying she was being silenced by the white guys at

CNN, the network that canned her annual New Year's Eve appearance this week.

None of the networks opted to carry her live suburban LA presser.

Fox News, however, livestreamed it.

She cried and cried and cried some more.

"I don't think I will have a career after this," Griffin said breaking down alongside

her attorney Lisa Bloom.

She said Trump and his family are using her joke as a way to obfuscate his association

with Russia.

Bloom said her client has received death threats and has been told to not leave her home.

She no longer receives deliveries or goes online.

She has heard from the Secret Service.

"He broke me.

He broke me.

He broke me," Griffin said, her voice cracking.

"And then I was just like, this isn't right."

She continued, "Yeah, I may get arrested today.

I don't know."

She essentially said Trump can kiss her ass.

"I'm not afraid of Donald Trump," Griffin said.

"He's a bully.

I've dealt with white guys trying to keep me down my entire career.

I had learned over the years that sometimes when you do standup, people want a joke that's

out there and a little crazy.

I feel horrible.

I have performed in war zones.

Speaking directly to the camera, she said "The Donald, it's me, Kathy," she said,

is no stranger to Nice & Easy hair dye.

On CNN firing her New Year's Eve standup with Anderson Cooper, she said, "It's

hurtful to me.

It's a bunch of old white guys trying to silence me and that's wrong."

Bloom cracked that CNN founder Ted Turner would've never handled the incident by firing

her.

At times Griffin was apologetic.

But then she'd get defiant, saying she's a comedian who will continue to make fun of

Trump.

"I apologized," she said repeatedly.

"I really screwed up."

And then: "Of course you have to make fun of Trump.

By the way, I'm sure Megyn Kelly can't stand me, but I don't care."

She explained how the whole thing went down:

"The guys went into the kitchen and started making fake ketchup," she explained.

"The whole thing took minutes.

Okay, well let's make this obvious that I'm making an absurdist artsy theme.

She cried some more.

But as soon as she'd melt down, she'd make a joke.

2017 Reads #97-99 | Was The Martian Worth the Hype? [CC] - Duration: 5:28.

Hi, BookTube, it's Sylwia, and I'm here with three more reviews. I picked up

Sophie Kinsella's Remember Me? Did it have adequate representation? No. I

don't think anything was represented well. I don't think there were any

discussions about diversity or anything that I find important. Did it perpetuate

healthy ideals? At the beginning I was so excited because the protagonist has

crooked teeth and she complains about her teeth not being social norms of

beauty standards but that was very quickly eradicated because she wakes up

from the coma that she's in and she has perfect teeth, so that was a huge

disappointment. I also thought that the emphasis on how important beauty and

image are was so problematic. And it contains cheating and normalizes

cheating which I hate. Did it teach me something or make me think? Well, yes, it

did make me think about how social norms can be problematic and how putting a lot

of emphasis on beauty can be problematic. What was the writing style like? At first

I was extremely engaged but then the story got very boring. I don't think that

has to do with the writing style. I think Sophie Kinsella has an easy writing style

but the plot was definitely boring for me. Are the characters now my all-time

favorites? Absolutely not and I especially want to say that Eric and the

protagonist's mom were totally unbelievable as characters. Was the plot

cleverly written? I thought it was so predictable. It's just like every other

bad-person-turns-good story and I mean that in a negative way. I usually enjoy

redemption arcs or redemption stories but this one was so boring and it

includes, like, embarrassment humor which I know Sophie Kinsella likes to write,

but I don't enjoy it. Did I enjoy reading it? I enjoyed the first 7/8 chapters when

I thought that this was going to be a romance between her and her husband but

when that turns out not to be the case I just hated the entire remainder of the

book. I think I gave it 1 star. Then I finally read The Martian which was

BookTube's favorite book for the longest time and I have to say I don't totally

understand why. Did it have adequate representation? Yes it did. For such a

very small cast, there are people of color, there are women and positions of

power. I thought that race (maybe even sexual orientation don't quote me on

that) but race and gender were handled well. Except that Mark Watney makes some

comments that are very "bro" offensive comments, I guess, so did it

perpetuate healthy ideals? Again, he makes some "bro" comments that I think are a

little unhealthy, but I understand that that's, like, part of his humor. I don't

really want to make excuses: I thought they were unacceptable,

but nothing like terribly offensive. Did it teach me something or make me think?

At the very end there appears to be, like, a cute moral, which I did appreciate, but

it didn't make me think throughout the book about that moral which makes it

feel kind of like a failure. What was the writing style like? So there are very

short chapters and the story very quickly gets to the point of things. It's

concise. But at the same time the book felt never-ending. I just felt like I was

going to be reading this forever. I wasn't bored but I just kind of felt

like "can we get to where we're going!?" and none of the conflicts made me feel any

sort of emotion. I thought that the movie handled conflict better. Are the

characters now my all-time favorites? No. Unlike everybody else, I don't think

Mark Watney is charming. I enjoyed him a lot more in the movie than I did in the

book. Was the plot cleverly written? I don't really think so. I think the plot

progressed in a very simple ABC fashion. It was the little details of how Mark

does the things that he does that were, I guess, interesting, but not that much. Did

I enjoy reading it? Not really. I also read Good in Bed by Jennifer Weiner. Did

it have adequate representation? This book is praised for being fat positive

because it has a fat protagonist who doesn't lose weight and does exist in

her fatness, however there's a lot of negative commentary about being fat from

everyone else around her, so how is that fat positive? I really didn't like it. Did

it perpetuate healthy ideals? I think it could have done a lot more and it failed.

It didn't reach its potential. Did it teach me something or make me think? No

it didn't. What was the writing style like? I

thought it was unengaging and there was a lot of unnecessary scenes that didn't

seem to make sense. This read almost like a television show in which the episodes

didn't line up one after the other. It was almost like following the same

protagonist in completely different timelines or just, like, putting her in

random scenarios. I thought that was very unskillful and I'm surprised

by how much hype this book has had. Are the characters now my all-time favorites?

Absolutely not. They're totally forgettable and some of

them don't make sense, for example she just kind of becomes best friends with a

famous model or actress and it just doesn't make sense for the story. Was the

plot cleverly written? Again, there's a lot of unnecessary information. There was

a lot of analysis of her and I think how she was growing up in her family, if I

remember that correctly. So maybe if you like family sagas you might enjoy this,

but I felt like it was a lot of buildup with very little reward. Did I enjoy

reading it? Absolutely not. I think I gave it 1 star. Come talk to me in the comments!

This Double decker bus has a toilet and space to keep luggage in the rear

I started from Vienna at 11 pm and now (at 3 am) I have reached Prague

The bus dropped me at the Main Railway/Train station

The bus stops at 2 places in Prague

1. Main Train station & 2. Florence Bus terminal

The fare difference between both the places is 2 Euros

Vienna to Main Station cost 15 Euros & Vienna to Florence cost 17 Euros

Add 2 Euros (booking counter's commission) on these fares

I opted for the cheap fare (15+2 Euros) instead of 17+2 Euros

As the cheapest ticket for using public transport in Prague cost less than 2 Euros

An Alabama teenager has spoken out about her alleged rape by a football player at her high school.

Savannah, a 17-year-old former student at Spanish Fort High School outside of Mobile, said that she was raped at a party in October 2015 by one of her classmates, Cameron Harrison.

Harrison was arrested for raping the teen, then 16, when she was unconscious from drinking.

A friend of Savannah's said that she saw her being carried to an upstairs bedroom to drink, but then later found a naked Harrison in the room 15 minutes later.

Though the case gripped the small towns attention, its exact outcome is likely to remain unknown. Local reports say that the 19-year-old was given a youthful offender status in April that keeps details of his plea deal from the public.

Savannah, who says she has no recollection of what happened, spoke to 20/20 in an interview to air Friday night, saying she wants to help other victims.

"Its like I wasn't even in my body. It's like my head was telling me like something's not right, but I feel myself kind of fading out, like you know, from having control of myself," she said.

The teen recalled how she did not originally think what happened had been rape, but then later broke down when a teacher overheard her and her friends conversations and she spoke with a guidance counselor.

Savannah now writes online about her allegations, and told ABC, "I feel strong that I can put that out there. I wanted to have a voice.".

"I used to think that I was you know, weak, dramatic, too emotional, you know, couldn't handle anything, and then going through this, I've realized how strong I really am and that I underestimated myself the whole time," she added.

Harrison, who ABC said cannot legally comment on the case, reportedly began taking classes online after he was charged. Savannah's interview is airing on the one-year anniversary of the Brock Turner sentencing.

Turner, a Stanford freshman, was convicted of sexually assaulting a woman behind a dumpster in January 2015. Though Turner faced a maximum of 14 years in prison and prosecutors suggested six years, he was sentenced to six months.
