HOW I MAKE MY YOUTUBE VIDEOS! - Duration: 6:31.

Hi everyone. So today I wanted to let you all know how I film my videos. So I've

been doing this for almost two years now and I've really kind of struggled and

grappled with how I film my videos, how I do my thumbnails, how I do my editing and

all of that. But recently I've come to the perfect formula that's not quite

perfect, but perfect enough to suffice for me and today I'm going to share that

with y'all. One thing you should note is that ever since I started, I actually haven't

changed anything, like, invested in anything new. Also, this is not an advice

video. This is just about how I make my videos and you can take advice from that,

you can learn from that - that's kind of why I'm doing this video - but I don't

want you all to feel like I think I have, like, you know, the perfect way of filming.

Anyway so the first thing I want to start off with is my camera. As I said I

film with my phone. Before I used to film with a Samsung Galaxy S4 now I film with

a Samsung Galaxy A7, I think it's called. The phone has a really good quality

camera and I cannot complain about it. You don't really need to have like a

DSLR camera to start a YouTube channel - most people start on their iPads and

their this and their that and what-have-you. So you're probably wondering, "Okay, you

film with your phone. How the hell do you hold up your phone?" When I first started

I just used to stack a bunch of books up and I used to prop my phone on to

something, but now I use a selfie stick a cup and a sock. So basically I got this

long cup from SeaWorld and I stuffed a sock in it to give this selfie stick

stability. And I just prop my phone on to that and then I usually put up a chair

and a stool and I just rest the tripod contraption on to that and that's how I

set up my camera. So the tricky thing about phones is that they don't have a

viewfinder so you might want to film with this selfie camera, but as we all

know this selfie camera is not as good quality as the one in the back of the

phone. So what I actually do to make sure that I am NOT out of angle is I use a

mirror. And I adjust the mirror in the back of me like that, so that I can just

make sure that I am in the shot and that when I'm holding up a book it's not, like,

you know, out of shot or anything like that.

Let's move on to lighting. Now, my main lighting source is the thing that makes

the will go around see the brightness in this guy that we all know: I'm not

talking about Beyonce. I'm talking about the Sun. So basically I open out all of

my windows in my room and that provides the

perfect lighting for me. But, I also have three other light sources that I use. The

first is my phone camera flashlight. I also use a lamp that I rest on my bed

and then my room light is always on. I actually film at night sometimes and

when I film at night I do the same setup but I just don't have the sunlight

in the background. But, it still looks good it just doesn't look as like great

without the sunlight. Moving on to audio. Now there's nothing much I can

say about audio other than I don't really have a microphone or anything. I

just kind of project my voice and I'm fortunate enough to have a phone where

the microphone is good enough to pick up my voice sufficiently. And the only other

advice I have is to just take off your fan, take off your television in the

background, maybe do it on a quiet day when nobody's around. The next thing is

of course editing so for editing I actually use Windows Movie Maker which

is just the easiest thing for me to use. But I mean, editing with Movie Maker is

kind of like cutting a piece of steak... with another piece of steak. It gets a

bit rough sometime so to speak but it's free... and I'm cheap. I also recently

downloaded Lightworks and I don't know how to use it. I know I could go on

online and do a tutorial but... it just looks really hard. Whenever I have to do

overlays I would finish editing my video on Movie Maker and then I would put it

into Lightworks so that I could put the overlays and because moviemaker doesn't

allow you to put in overlays. In terms of editing my thumbnails, recently, as you

can tell, my thumbnails have become quite extra. I use two softwares to edit my

thumbnail. I edit it a little bit on PicMonkey and then I save it and then I

edit it again with all the colors and the fancy backgrounds and all of that.

And then I go on another software called GIMP, where I cut out the outline of the

regular picture and then I paste that onto the edited picture, so that it looks

kind of like cool and all of the imagery is in the back of me. And

the final thing I have to talk about is probably one of the most difficult

things when it comes to making videos and that is finding yourself in front of

the camera. When I first started filming my videos I was, what we call in Trinidad,

a MOOK. I could not, it was just difficult it was

just weird speaking to a camera and I'm sure everybody probably has this

experience, when you first start filming your videos it's like: why am I talking

to this inanimate object? what if somebody hears

me? what if somebody laughs at me? And that process is just something that you

will go through and just have to get used to, it unless you're like a natural in

front of the camera. The only advice I could give when it comes to speaking in

front of the camera is first of all being yourself. When you first join

YouTube or whatever particular YouTube community you're a part of, you're going to

see other people; you're going to see some people are really like cool and

extra and extravagant some people might be a bit more laid-back more chill more

discussional. And you might want to emulate all of those things, I've

definitely tried that before in the past I've seen anymore the extravagant, the

hyperactive booktubers and then the more kind of academic, sit down and use big

words kind of booktubers. But eventually I found the perfect formula for that and

that is just being me in front of the camera. So another thing that people are

concerned about is rambling too much or going off point or not really

finding the words for what you want to say. The main advice I can give for that is

have an idea of what you want to say, whether that be scripting out your video,

I know not all people like to that - I don't like to do that - but you could

script out your video, you can make notes about just a general idea of what you

want to say. But most importantly really think about your videos before I kind of

rehearse my videos in my mind, oftentimes, before I make them and that really helps

me to prioritize what I have to say and condense it into something that is

effective enough for my audience. And again this is just something that you

will have to just work on with practice, it's not something that's just going to

happen right away. So if you watched this video I hope it prompts you to either

maybe use some of these tactics to help you out in your video making. Or, maybe it

prompted you to join the booktube community or the YouTube community in

general, and if it did I am very happy for you and thank you so much for

watching this video. In the comments down below I would love to

hear all of your like tips and tricks on how you film videos or how you might

want to go about filming videos if you start a channel. Other than that, again

thank you for watching I hope you have a lovely lovely day and until next time

Insha Allah, keep reading.

How to Make Bacon Wrapped Steak - Easy Steak Recipe - Duration: 4:30.

How to make Bacon Wrapped Steak - Easy Steak Recipe

Hello and welcome back to In the Kitchen with Matt, I am your host Matt Taylor.

Today we are going to do something different; the next three videos are going to be grilling

related.

The same, or this time every year I do my annual birthday barbecue, it usually happens

around Memorial Day, and I got friends and family in town, we are going to grill up some

meat, and have a good time.

This first video, we are going to make bacon wrapped steak, on the grill, super awesome,

let's get started.

First we need some steak, I am using tri-tip here, and what I did is I went ahead and cut

these up in pieces, chunks, about 1 and half inches in diameter.

And then we got to get some bacon; I am using a thick cut bacon, this is a hardwood smoked

bacon, apple wood smoked bacon, a good thick cut bacon is what you want to use.

Now take out a strip of bacon here, and we want to cut this in half, like so.

And then we need a skewer, now this is a metal skewer, you can use the bamboo skewer if you

want, I really like to use these metal ones, just be careful the metal skewers can get

hot when it is on the grill, so you don't want to touch this with your bare hands.

Now we take a piece of bacon, and we are going to go ahead and take a chunk of steak, and

wrap it up in the bacon, like so.

I am going to go ahead and put the skewer through the steak and bacon, just like that,

pretty easy.

Let's go ahead and do another one here.

All right and stick it on a skewer, just like that.

Now when you have all of them on the skewer you are ready to put them on the grill.

And we just go ahead and put the bacon wrapped steak on there, and it is going to take a

little bit longer, probably uh 5 minutes per side, and you will turn it a quarter turn,

cook it, quarter turn, so it will be about 15 to 20 minutes total.

All right I switched these over to the other grill.

Everyone is done with the big grill, so I moved these over; it is a little bit hotter

then the other one.

Looking really good here, one thing that might happen, is that if your grill is too hot,

the grease from the bacon will flare up, and if that happens just go ahead and close it,

you might need to move them around to the outsides to kill those flames.

The bacon wrapped steak is done read to be eaten, it took about 20 minutes and for desert

we got some peanut butter cups, chocolate covered strawberries, we have cheesecake,

and we got a chocolate raspberry tart, oh yeah.

This is my good friend David.

He is all ready to dig into this bacon wrapped steak.

Mmm, mmm, bacon and steak, pretty good?

Pretty darn good, all right and that is how you make bacon wrapped steak on the grill,

super easy to do, it is really really yummy.

If I can do it, you can do it, I am Matt Taylor and this has been another episode of In the

Kitchen with Matt, thank you for joining me, as always if you have any questions or comments

put them down below and I will get back to you as soon as I can, thumbs up, down in the

corner, push it.

HOW TO MAKE BALLOON CHOCOLATE BOWLS - Ft. Claudia Bahamon - Host of Masterchef Colombia - Duration: 7:31.

Hola everybody! welcome to VeroSweetHobby

Today, we're going to be making something really really cute, but at the same time

it's delicious!

we are going to make a chocolate cup to put inside

whatever you want a dessert, ice cream, fruit, whatever!

and for that I have a really special guest today

She is super star in Latin America. I'm so happy she is here with me!

Ladies and gentleman, Claudia Bahamón!

In this video we are going to be making chocolate cups

to put inside whatever you want and you are going to help me.

Ok. Are you ready for this? I'm ready.

I think you are going to do something that you've never done in your life...

What is this about?

This is going to be like super fun! You have to inflate balloons,

Dip them in chocolate, and then pinch the balloons

and then put inside whatever you want.

Are you ready for this?

That sounds very crazy.

Okay, let's do it!

Mine is prettier.

Now I'm scared...

I feel like this is a set up!

All the balloons are ready and the next step is

that we're going to use a little bit of PAN, just a tiny bit

and then with a brush we're going to be spreading it

all around the part that we're going to dip each balloon in the chocolate

What are you going to do?

Were you going to trick me?

I caught you!

I'm mean, I have the weapon!

So now the balloons are ready and we have to start melting the chocolate

Have you ever melted chocolate? Yes?

Where? In the stove. Yeah in the stove is one way to

do it but now we're going to do it in the microwave, okay? Perfect!

Different. It's a little bit different and what we have to do is that

we're not going to put it at full temperature high speed high temperature because this is going to burn and

we want to be able to dip the balloons and still be able to

somehow work with the chocolate right?

And how long does it take?

We put it in the microwave first for one minute

and half temperature, we take it out

we stir it a little bit and then we put it back for about

20 seconds at a time.

Remember don't put the temperature on high because it won't work,

so halfway there, for one minute and then

Intervals of 20 seconds at a time. Are you ready to do this ready?

Ready, let's go! You do the white I do the black. Let's go

This things happen!

Please don't blow up because I have no more clothes!

I think I'm going to keep this and frame it.

Well now this is the most difficult part and I'm

so stressed out about this, are you nervous? Yes

Yes me too because now we have to dig a tiny hole

in each of the balloons,

and then we're going to wait for each one to disinflate

and then hopefully the little cups are not going to break.

No it's going to be ok.

Do you want to start?

Yes, I'll make a little hole here...

It looks beautiful! Beautiful! Beautiful!

2 of the cups are ready and while the other ones are in the freezer

we have a lot of toppings here to choose from

and I know you love fruits. I love it!

We have ice cream here and also Sprinkles

because this is always the kids favorite

right? Yes, and blueberries,

blackberries, strawberries, and cherries.

We're going to put a scoop of ice cream in each one

and this should be really good!

and then you can use whatever you want

chocolate mousse for example,

Yes!!! you did it! You are a genie!

This is so beautiful! Hermoso!

I love it! It's so so pretty Claudia!

For the ones who don't know her,

Claudia is the official host of masterchef Colombia

and we are so grateful for having her on VeroSweetHobby today.

I have to say hello and shout out to my friends

who are allways watching my videos,

Thank you so much financial woman and Norma!

Thank you for commenting and giving me so many like

and thank you Claudia

for being in this video, and so happy finally came!

and so happy too! I'm glad that you invited me!

And I'm super proud of you.

I think you made something really beautiful

and you should be proud of yourself.

I'm proud of myself, I was going to say that.

So if you guys make this you have to send me pictures,

Pal Kozhukattai in Tamil | பால் கொழுக்கட்டை | How to make paal kozhukattai | Tamil Food Corner - Duration: 4:33.

Hi viewers, welcome to Tamil food corner

Today, we will see how to make a traditional indian sweet recipe - paal kozhukattai

To make pal kozhukattai, you would require 1 cup of raw rice flour, 1 cup of boiled rice flour, 1 cup of powdered jaggery, 1/2 teaspoon of cardamom powder, 4 tablespoons of grated coconut and 100 ml of boiled milk

Both the rice flours are homemade. Wash the raw rice and boiled rice separately and sun dry them and grind into fine powder in flour mill

Adding milk to this paal kozhukattai is optional and can be skipped

Lets start to make the kozhukattai. For that add both the rice flours into a bowl and mix well

Boil a cup of water and keep it ready

Add the boiled water little by little and start kneading it with a help of a laddle

Do not add lot of water in one go. Add little at a time and knead the rice flour till it gets into a nice and soft dough

To get a soft kozhukattai make sure you add hot water

I have kneaded the dough for making kozhukattai and its now ready

Lets start rolling the dough into small round and elongated shaped kozhukattais

Heat around 3 glasses of water in a pan. To that add the milk and bring it to boil

I have rolled all the dough into small round and elongated shaped kozhukattai

Always spread the kozhukattai on a wide plate and make sure its not crowded like one over the other

Doing this way will prevent the kozhukattai from sticking onto each other and also it will be easier to add to the boiling water and milk mixture

Making small sized kozhukattai will be nice as the sweetness gets into it easily and tastes great

Water and milk mixture is boiling well, lets carefully add a small numbers of kozhukattai. Wait till the mimxture comes back to boiling stage again

Do not add all the kozhukattais in one go.

Now the mixture starts ti boil again, i will add the next batch of kozhukattai

Mix it gently using a wooden laddle or with the narrowed edge of the stainless steel laddle

I am adding all the remaining kozhukattai now as it starts to boil again

Mix it gently and let it cook for around 6 minutes. Do not stir it too much as the kozhukattai may break easily

Kozhukattai has been cooked well and its now nice and soft

Add powdered jaggery. mix well

Let the jaggery gets dissolved

Add jaggery only after the kozhukattai is cooked

Let it cook for 5 more minutes so that the sweetness of the jaggery gets into the kozhukattai. Keep the heat in medium

Finally add cardamom powder and grated coconut. Give it a mix and turn off the flame

Simple, tasty and traditional paal kozhukattai is now ready to serve

Enjoy making this sweet recipe and share your comments with us. Thanks for watching

How to make Rose Petals Bridal hair decor | Easy Rose petals garland | Rainbow Rangoli - Duration: 11:52.

Hi Viewers, Welcome to Rainbow rangoli

This video tutorial is all about how to make a beautiful bridal hair decor using rose petals and fabric roses

To make this rose petal string/garland you would require a bunch of rose petals, red colour fabric roses, golden colour fabric rose, flower stringing thread, needle and scissors

I have inserted the flower stringing thread of required length into the needle and kept it ready. Its better to have double folded thread

Before we start with rose petal garland, we need to cut two small pieces of the rose stem

Next, we have to sort the petals from the roses

Take a rose and hold all the petals together in one hand and gently move it back and forth. All the rose petals will come off from its stem

To make this rose petals bridal hair decor, we would require fresh rose petals of almost similar size

Select the petals of similar size and keep it ready. Take out all the damaged and dried petals and also smaller sized petals

Sort out the petals from all the roses and keep it ready before making the rose petals garland

Rose petals of similar size is now ready for making garland

Take the needle and insert the piece of rose stem into it and slide it through the thread and leave it at a distance from the end of the thread

Take rose petal and make a fold inward at the right side towards the centre

Make another fold towards the centre from the left side of the petal

Press gently at the centre and fold it outward

Hold the folded rose petal at its centre and insert in to the needle at its centre

In the same way, fold the rose petals and insert into the needle and keep it next to the previously inserted rose petals

Repeat this till the whole needle gets filled. As you insert more rose petals you can see a spiral shape being formed

When the needle is full, slide the rose petals gently through the thread till the stem

Repeat the same process and make a rose petal string of around 2 inch length

Take red colour fabric rose and insert in to the needle

Keep inserting around 6 red roses to get a round shape

Next row is to insert around 6 golden colour roses

Insert another round of red roses

All the fabric roses have been inserted, carefully slide it through the thread and leave it close to the rose petals string
