Car Situation in Cuba | La Situacion de Carros | Subtitulado Español - Duration: 7:16.

Cuba doesn't have a lot of cars.

But the few cars they do have, pollute a lot.

There's not like an air pollution treaty or something.

Or a guideline for how much a car should pollute.

I guess in part is because they can't, they really can't replace the parts of cars.

And they can't make sure the cars are in tip top shape so they don't pollute too much.

But anytime specially you see one of these old Chevrolet, old cars pass you by.

Even if you don't see the cloud of smoke, you smell it instantly.

You know there are some more modern cars like some Hyundai Accents,

or Elantras.

I seen a 2008 Sonata.

But they also got some called a Geely.

Which is pretty much like a Chinese brand car.

And I've never seen it before in my life.

I'd like to think that I know a lot about in general about the different cars that exist.

Or at least the good ones.

And I had never even heard of that brand.

But a lot of the more modern cars they do have, those are the ones.

We got a place for shopping over here.

And, we are almost at the New Hospital.

That's what it's called.

The New Hospital and the Old Hospital.

So, it's over there.

And we got a dirty river.

I swam in that thing when I was little.

We got more and more and more, more cars.

We got an Audi, that's rare.

Like this car right here, this is the most amazing thing.

I want to talk about these cars for a second.

This car, 80, 90 grand here, even if they cost like ten thousand dollars in the US or

something.

They will cost you 90 grand.

The Hyundai Accents they probably cost somewhere around 50 thousand.

And we also got like, what do you call it; olds mobiles.

Even like the old cars, like old, people pay like up to 20 thousand dollars for them.

I'd rather ride in one of these; one of these.

I love these ones.

I love riding horses.

Yeah the car situation in Cuba is crazy.

Cars are like up to 8, 9 times the value of what they're truly worth outside of this country.

I'm not sure if that's like an inflated price, or

if that is because of import taxes and the fact they are very scarce.

You know they don't have a lot of them.

It's probably a combination of the two.

I don't really know; all I is they are extremely expensive.

And also the rent of a car,

renting a car here can easily be up to 200 dollars depending on the kind of car you want

to get.

But on average you're going to pay at least 70 dollars a day

to rent even a basic economy car.

It'll be a more modern car but it'll still be an economy car.

It won't be anything fancy.

Where over there for 70 dollars a day you can probably get like

a luxury car.

So, yeah.

Let's go home.

Okay now, before we get home, speaking about the car situation.

I want to cover the fact that since cars are so expensive.

You have to have a way to transport yourself around, get around.

So people pay for taxis.

But the taxis cost like 4 dollars for just a couple miles.

Kind of like Uber, except...

You know you rent the cars for 4 dollars for just a couple miles and that gets you around.

Though I honestly don't see how they can make a profit,

because gasoline is nearly twice as expensive as it is over there in the US.

Which is crazy.

They don't really make much a profit, and honestly.

Like if they go for example, if they take someone 2 miles away.

And then they've got to go back to the same place they came from,

to pick up a new person.

Then they're already losing money cause gas is so expensive.

And plus the parts over here for the cars; like look.

You always see people like fixing cars or something.

The parts over here for cars they're almost twice as expensive as they are over there.

Because...

That's the pollution I was talking about.

Okay because.

What do you call it?

They don't have any parts, they can't really replace the parts for the cars so everything

is expensive.

So the gas is expensive,

parts are expensive,

cars are expensive,

and getting around costs as much as Uber does.

Gladly the cities aren't as big, as a city over there.

So you can kind of get around walking, but the Cuba Sun is like so hot.

Is like scorching heat all the time.

I honestly can't stand being in the Sun for more than a half hour.

So what I do is you know film, I do my thing, I swim a little bit and I go back in the shade

again.

Otherwise I will go home with a sunburn.

But anyways, we are almost home; we are almost home.

But yeah, car situation in Cuba no good.

You're better off renting a car.

You're going to save yourself on gas, a lot.

You're going to save yourself on buying the car cause it's expensive;

because of imports and the lack of cars that there are.

And you're going to save yourself a lot money on the maintenance.

So might as well just rent it even if it's expensive.

Because; is just not worth it.

Estimate price of this 575 SuperAmerica is pretty high, nearly twice of a SuperAmerica but this one has something particular..

it's a 6-speed manual!

How To Wash REALLY Big Trucks! - Toyota Tundra - Chemical Guys Car Care - Duration: 12:01.

Welcome to another day in the Detail Garage.

Today me and Nick are going to show you the top 5 detailing tricks to washing this big

ass truck.

I want to start with the tips before we begin.

Tip number one: Use a good pressure washer and a really good foam cannon.

Tip number two: You wanna use a...

Tip number two: You'll need a Big Mofo to clean the sides of the truck, this way we

cover a lot of surface area.

Tip number three: Using the Wash Mop, which allows me to get the top of this truck and

prevents cross contamination between sides and top.

If you look really closely you'll see all this dirt and grime from off roading and commuting

to car shows that this truck has done.

We don't want to contaminate the top from the bottom filth.

Tip number four: We're going to use Extreme Body Wash & Wax which is a highly lubricated soap.

Another cool thing about this soap is it actually has wax in it.

If you come close you'll see the soap looks a little funny and that is because there is

a lot of wax in here.

Some people wanted a true wash and wax soap so this is the answer, it also has a really

cool grape scent.

Tip number five: We are going to use After Wash teamed up with a great towel, that will

make sure we dry this truck really fast and reduce water spots.

We'll go straight into the job, I'll get everything set up as you can see our pressure washer

is ready to go.

We have a wheel bucket prepared, we also have two body buckets set up.

One with clear water and the other with soap, I haven't put the soap in it yet but we have

to start by placing the Dirt Traps in.

When you insert the Dirt Trap don't put them in straight down because that will trap the

air bubbles, instead place them in at an angle and press them to the bottom.

These Dirt Traps do fit any twelve in bucket so don't work if you don't have these particular

buckets it will fit but these buckets look a lot cooler.

Now lets prepare our soap bucket, all I need is an ounce of soap in here.

I'll also get the Foam Cannon ready, I've already filled the container to the 900 mark

and I'l fill it with soap until it reads 1000.

When you set up your Foam Cannon don't shake them because then you will get a bunch of

suds inside the bottle, all you need to do is gently tighten the top and stir.

This mixes everything in the bottle which is turning this nice purple color and it is

ready.

So Nick looks a little bored, so lets start by foaming the wheels first and then we can

start scrubbing and then we can move on to the body.

I want to stress that you start with the wheels so you aren't contaminating the freshly washed

paint because then you are working backwards.

While I'm cleaning the wheels I will also tackle the undercarriage.

So if you come closer you can see the undercarriage is really dirty.

I'll make sure to clean it really well because Nick is going to dress this soon.

The wheels are already clean because Nick polished them with a Ball Buster but I want

to make sure these wheels are completely clean.

We'll clean the barrel and spokes for the perfect finish.

So we're go to rinse the wheels, then soap it with Diablo Wheel Gel and then start scrubbing

with the brushes.

After that I'll rinse everything off with and move on to the next wheel.

Lets get started.

Got everything degreased and I through on a layer of foam so we have extra lubrication

as we scrub to prevent scratching.

Everything is degreased with Sticky Wheel Gel and Diablo Gel for the rims.

Now with the Stiffy Blue Brush I'll scrub the tire down to make sure I get all the grime

out of the knobs so when I dress it, it looks beautiful.

The foam really helps to pick up a lot of the dirt and teamed up with an excellent degreaser

it'll make this tire look really clean once it is rinsed off.

I'll now take my second brush which is the Green Flagged Tip Brush and I'll glide over

the face.

I don't really need to scrub because Nick already cleaned it but I want to make sure

I pick up any left over dirt off.

Lastly using the third brush which is my Long Handle Brush, this is going to help me scrub

the undercarriage.

So now that everything is scrubbed down and the foam is still on the surface it is going

to help with the rinse off.

Lets rinse it off and we can see how clean it really is.

Come on baby!

After the rinse off you can see that these plastics look really clean.

The reason you want to get these plastics really clean is because when you dress them

it is going to last a lot longer and the dressing is going to stick a lot longer.

The reason why we want the dressing to stick is because this truck is lifted and you can

see underneath, all the suspension which looks really ugly when that stuff is dirty.

Also dressings help resist a lot of UV rays while repelling stains and your truck looks

really nice.

Now I'm going to move on to the other wheels and then we can start on the body.

We have the bucket activated and now we need to go into the second step which is rinsing

this truck down.

This will loosen any of the dirt that is sitting on top of the surface so when I run this Big

MoFo or Mop across the paint it won't scratch.

It's simple to do, just rinse it and after that I'll go into the foam.

Nick is going to grab the Big MoFo and do the sides while I grab the Mop and knock out

the top.

This prevents cross contamination from taking heavy dirt and grinding it into the paint

on areas we have already cleaned.

So lets get started.

As you guys at home can see we just washing this Tundra.

By using Extreme Body Wash & Wax we took care of the loose grime and debris that was on

the surface while leaving behind a protective layer of wax that added shine and protection.

Then we hit it with the Big MoFo and the Wash Mop to get those hard to reach areas.

Now we're going to finish it off with After Wash, this is a drying aide that takes care

of any water spots on the surface by breaking the surface tension to prevent staining while

leaving behind a freshly waxed look.

So Jeremy lets get to it.

So to conclude our story Nick and I did a few things.

Tip number one we used a good pressure washer and foam cannon.

After that we went into tip number two which is Extreme Body Wash, the right chemical is

important in getting a really good affect.

Tip three we used the Mop and Big MoFo to get the whole body cleaned without adding

scratches or marring into the paint.

Tip four we used After Wash which really helped the water bead and add a freshly waxed look

to this vehicle.

Tip five Nick and I used the Elegant Edgeless Towels to get the entire truck dry.

He is going to take care of the next step and I am going to head home.

Professional car wash of a Porsche GT3! With 83metoo! - Duration: 10:02.

Hey guys and welcome to a new video!

I am with Oli today and his channel is 83metoo

maybe you know him, he can make cars really clean

and finally the GT3 gets washed today

I brought lots of dirt on it from Italy with me

one week in Italy and it hasn't been washed

okay I washed it once!

but as you can see

that wasn't enough

some say I am a fly killer

and I need to get rid of the dirt so therefore I am happy to have some help

okay let's do the first step, Sophia already got the Tuga green in her hand

now we can spray it on the rim

you cannot see the dirt on a black wheel very well

but you can see the purple color on the brake disc

exactly, that is called the effect indicator

and it shows you that it reacts with dirt

yes it works!

let's move on the the next step

Sophia has the wrap cleaner by Sonax

it is ideal to get rid of the dirt which is on the wrap

we have lots of dirt right here

and there also were some other stickers on it

we tested it on this spot already and as you can see the dirt runs gets off the wrap easily

now please continue to spray the entire rear of the car

look how easily the dirt comes off!

there is an instant reaction

perfect!

we continue here with a few spots

because on the rear you have the most dirt

let's go on with the foam and the insects

nooooo

the wing can carry it for sure

I know but there will be scratches!

Next step: Sophia now has the Dr. Wack in her hand

the presentation is awesome!

always wanted to be a hand model

perfect!

but with gloves?

So we take the Dr. Wack and spray it on the front of the car

let's go!

I've showed you how to do it

I think you can do it better

no, you are doing fine!

very good!

you really have lots of flies and mosquitoes here

but that's okay with Vmax 315km/h you collect plenty of them

So we started with these two products. What is it exactly and how much do you take of each?

So, the A1 speed shampoo is made for cleaning your car

it's for painted cars, matte wrap and glossy wrap like your GT3's wrap

these are made for cleaning the car

the snow foam which is next to it is PH-neutral

this one?

exactly!

we take 15ml of it together with 1l of water

so it would be that much

right!

and this will produce the foam which we need to make this fluid perform well

now comes the foam wash

the foam wash contains the Gloria FMC

it is a sprayer for foam

we are going to fill in the A1 speed shampoo

and also the snow foam. This creates really nice foam

it is also PH-neutral and also good for your wrapped car!

please fill in the water which is in the bottle over there

would it be bad if it was real sparkling water?

I tried it already and it doesn't work!

it is really sparkling then..

then you can add the 15ml of snow foam in the small measuring cup

exactly!

and then we have the shampoo here

open it and add a little bit into the bottle

how much exactly?

I say stop

stop stop stop!

That's still okay! Good!

sometimes less is more!

looks like those spray snakes from carnival

It's not suppose to look like that but like this!

okay so I cleaned the car with the water lance

but now you can see those black spots over here

the flys and mosquitoes are all gone now

but after 47.000km you have spots from small stones and gravel on the front

and these are all stone-chippings

next step is to wash the car by hand

you said you know how to do that right, but I'm not sure about that

while washing the car by hand we use two buckets

one bucket is filled with fresh water and one with shampoo and water

we use the same shampoo as in the last step

but way more than last time

then stir it

so we get the performance that we want

and then we use this weird thing which is called grid guard

how is it called?

grid guard!

okay!

it's a strainer inset

you also have that wash board on top

never seen that before!

I knew it!

And I thought I was good at cleaning cars!

it is made for this: You use a sponge glove

do not use a car sponge, most of them make scratches!

we can wash the sponge on it like that

and the dirt will fall off und this strainer!

next time we clean it, it cannot get dirty because the strainer stops the dirt from underneath

rub it over the side of the wash board

so the dirt comes off of the sponge

exactly!

okay let's go on with drying

this one is called the orange baby

almost matching colors!

it is pretty big as you can see here

you can almost cover the whole front hood with it

it has pretty nice fibres

which is ideal to dry the car

you only use this side which has longer fibres

I always fold it two times

and I dry it this way. You can also try it now

with a little pressure on it the water get sucked into the orange baby

you still got this little haze but it depends on the temperature

today it is warm and sunny so it disappears quickly

it is easy with that towel isn't it?

it is very easy, because it has a big surface

and if you have tried a small microfibres towel that takes ages to dry the car

that's what I'm saying all the time

the car gets completely dry now

and after that we try to make it shiny

therefore we are going to use the detailer

for the windows we do not use the orange baby anymore but a waffle towel

it's not called waffle towel because it tastes like waffel...

but it looks like waffles!

this is a purple monster, no it isn't me but this towel here

I'm gonna use it with the wrap detailer

I will spray the wrap detailer on the car and rub it off with the purple monster

spray it on the wrap please!

everywhere

I've tested it on a different spot already

on this side the wrap is kinda stub, but on the right side it is slippery

the next mosquitoes will most likely slide away

this is how it is suppose to be

then you can push the pedal to the metal again

I can't wait

I sprayed a little bit on the window

we can clean that with the waffle towel too!

as you can see the car is now nice and shiny again just as....

it is so slippery on the car!
