The Video Title - How To Make It Stand Out To Get More Views - Duration: 7:58.

What makes a video title compelling, thought-provoking and throat-grabbing? In

this video we'll look at how important a carefully crafted video title can make

the difference between prospects watching your video....or not. So welcome to

this video entitled: "The Video Title - How To Make It Stand Out To Get More Views".

Iin other words, make your video title simple, succinct and attractive. Hi, my

name is Jeff Laming from Video Cashflow and in this video we're going to delve

into what makes a highly compelling video title that makes people just want

to watch your video. But first, if this is the first time you're watching a Video

Tim Schmoyer of Video Creators summed up the purpose of a video title perfectly.

He said the video title should be optimised for a human to see it so they're

emotionally enticed to watch the video as opposed to the title being written

for the benefit of the SEO robots. You can check out Tim's video by clicking on

the URL link in the description box below this video. A video title is no

different to the headlines that you see in the daily newspapers, the magazines

or in blog posts so take note of any headlines that grab your attention or

make you take a second look. If you're on the bus or on the train what do you tend

to do? That's right, you read the adverts. Now, look at those adverts

differently from now on ask yourself why you read a particular advert first. What

was it that attracted your eyes to their advert rather than the adverts on

either side of it? So here's what your video title should comprise: 1. An

exact keyword phrase. This is so that it matches what people are keying in to the

YouTube and Google search bars. There are many ways to search for exact keyword

phrases and many software tools to use but if time is of the essence then why

not get your exact keyword title ideas for your videos straight from YouTube

itself. Start entering the keyword title you want to use

and as you do make a note of the suggested titles or keywords that

YouTube starts automatically listing. The words and phrases that you see are the

frequent recent actual phrases people are entering into the YouTube search box;

2. A benefit. This is so that people want to know what's in it for them; 3. A

power word. This is effectively sprinkling the keyword phrase and the

benefit with the magic that either compels people to take a second look at

your video title and then to click on your video title or the video thumbnail

image; and 4. Here's a couple of tips for you for when you enter the video

title just before you upload the video to YouTube (as an aside also check the

video title immediately after you've uploaded to YouTube to make sure the

title is as it should be): Tip 1: make sure each word in the title

begins with a capital letter; and Tip 2: maximise the space in the title box.

Here's what I mean - there are a maximum of 99 characters you can enter in the

title box but you only want to enter a maximum of 60 as that is all that shows

up in the search results. So stick to 60. Here's an example. Let's use the title:

"How To Get Your Videos Watched - And Increase Your Sales

Now let's dissect this bad boy of a title and see how all four components of

compelling title are at work here: 1.: An exact keyword phrase i.e. "how to get your

videos watched"; 2.: A benefit - the keyword phrase is implying that the main benefit

of getting your videos watched is more sales; 3.: A power word - in this case the

power word is "increase" i.e. "increase your sales"; 4.: Note the capital letters at

the beginning of each word in the title and note that the character count is

within the 60 (character) limit now. If you spend a bit more time working on this title you

can no doubt improve upon it and probably squeeze in a full 60

characters but time is of the essence and good enough is good enough. You will

improve your technique over time with the more video titles that you work

on. Now, let's dissect the title of this

video which is: "The Video Title - How To Make You Stand Out To Get More Views".

1.: An exact keyword phrase - in this case it's the video title; 2.: A benefit -

here the benefit is more views; 3.: A power word - "stand out" is the power word; and 4.:

Note the capital letters at the beginning of each word in the title and

that the character count is within the 60 character limit. Here's an easy way to

determine the character count. Let's just nip over to the computer.....

Welcome to the computer, and this is the example I just want to show you. So the

title for this video is: "The Video Title - How To Make It Stand Out To Get More

Views", and if you just highlight that (phrase) there and then if you look over here

down in the bottom (left of the screen) here, just left click with your mouse and that will come up with

this box. Here you see characters with spaces, 60. So that is actually spot on

the 60 character limit. And that's how easy it is to determine your character

count. Thanks for watching. Now we've looked at what makes a compelling title to

encourage people to click on your video thumbnail image or on the title itself,

be careful of going to the extreme and risk being accused of your videos being

click-baity. Here's what I mean. Supposing the title of this video was:

"Compelling Video Titles - How To Attract The Opposite Sex". Now, unless you're in the

online dating business, whilst the title is likely to make people take a second

look and click on the thumbnail image out of curiosity, it's not going to do

you any favours at all when people soon realise your video has nothing to do

with attracting the opposite sex! So be sensible when crafting your title. And

here's a bonus tip for you: remember that as well as using a compelling title to

attract the attention of your target audience the video thumbnail image is

also aiming to achieve the same result so these two powerful marketing weapons

should be working in tandem. Therefore, you need to seriously consider that you:

1.: Ensure the 3 or 4 words on your thumbnail image are in line with the

video title; and 2.: You actually refer to the title at the beginning of your video

when you start talking, and then when you start talking about the subject matter

the viewer knows that what you are actually talking about is how they

understood what the title is or was conveying. In effect, this helps to start

build trust from the moment the viewer engages with the video. Finally, here's

one thing to consider when you're compiling your video titles - should you

use emojis in your video titles? That's it! I hope you found the content of this

General Tso's Chicken – How to make in four simple steps - Duration: 7:47.

Hello everyone.

My name is KP Kwan.

I work in a restaurant and is a huge fan of Asian Food.

In this video, I want to show you how do we prepare the famous American Chinese dish,

General Tso's Chicken.

I've divided the recipe into four steps.Step 1, Marinate the chicken

Step 2, Coat the chicken with the dry coating ingredients, and deep fry.

Step 3, Making the General Tso's sauce.

Step 4, Saute the aromatics and combine everything together.

Let's take a look how to make it.

Step one is to marinate the chicken.

We always choose chicken thigh instead of breast meat because chicken breast is dark

meat is more flavorful.

Remove the bones, and also remove the skin and cut it into bite size.

Nest we add some egg white to produce a smooth texture, some dark soy sauce, that is to provide

some caramelized flavor and add some color too.

Nest we have two teaspoons of light soy sauce, that is basically to give you the umani of

the soy Add a tablespoon of Shaoxing wine.

Lastly some cornflour, that is to make sure that the liquid seasoning adheres to the chicken

meat.

Combine all the ingredients, and marinate overnight.

The prolonged marination enables the seasonings to penetrate through the meat.

Step 2 To prepare the dry coating ingredients

We will use this dry mixture to coat the chicken before deep-frying.

There are one, two, three, four, four items in this dry mix

We have cornstarch here.

We use cornstarch because it can create a crispy crust.

And then we have some plain flour.

That is the flour we use to make cakes.

The use of plain flour and cornstarch give a right balance of volume and crispiness.

So, we add both together.

And then, we add a little bit of baking soda.

-A small amount help to make to coating airy, light, just a little bit.

And lastly, salt, the standard item to season anything.

Mix all together.

And set aside.

We will start to fry the chicken, we gonna use this to coat the chicken first.

Step 3 is to prepare the sauce for the chicken.

We have dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, Shaoxing wine, vinegar, some sugar.

A small amount is added to improve the color of the General Tso's chicken.

Sesame oil, some cornstarch to thicken the sauce.

And finally, a little bit of water.

I will use this sauce to coat the deep-fried chicken before serving.

Step 4 - fried the chicken

Drain off any excess liquid from the marinated chicken.

Put it into the dry flour mix.

Combine the chicken with the flour mix.

Pour about 1 to 1.5-inch depth of oil into a pan and heat it up until it is about to

360 °F (180 °C).

Then shake off the excess flour on the surface of the chicken.

Deep fried the chicken until cooked through and turns golden brown about 5 minutes.

Stir occasionally to avoid the chicken pieces from sticking together.

After 4 minutes, drain the chicken pieces on a plate lined with a paper towel.

Coat the chicken with the sauce

After we have got everything in place.

It only takes a few minutes to finish the cooking.

Saute some aromatic ingredients in the wok.

We have minced ginger, minced garlic, some thinly sliced scallion, and dry chili.

Remove the seed and cut into 2cm length.

Sometimes we omit the dry chili upon our customer's request

Stir fry these items until aromatic.

Add the sauce to the wok and cook until it starts to boil.

Add the deep-fried chicken to the sauce.

Coat the chicken with the sauce thoroughly.

And it is done.

You can now serve your General Tso's chicken.

How to Make Easy Baked Chicken Meatballs - Duration: 3:11.

Today on The Stay At Home Chef I'm showing you how to make Easy Baked Chicken Meatballs

If you're avoiding red meat or you just need a leaner, more

healthy option, chicken meatballs are always a great choice! They're super tasty!

To start you'll want to preheat an oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and

lightly grease a 9 by 13 pan or a baking sheet with a little bit of nonstick

cooking spray or you can use parchment paper. You'll need 1 to 1 1/2 pounds

of ground chicken or you can use this same recipe with ground turkey and

make turkey meatballs. Then add in 3/4 cup of plain dried breadcrumbs,

1/2 cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese which is a great binding agent.

You'll also need some minced garlic and I like to use 2 to 3 cloves, 2 teaspoons of

dried basil, 1 teaspoon of salt, and then about 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes

to add a little heat. Add in your wet ingredients starting with 1 egg, 1 to 2

tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil olive oil. It is optional but it does make

for a juicier meatball but if you're watching your calories you can always

leave it out. Last you'll need 2 tablespoons each of milk and worcestershire sauce

Then we'll use our hands and get right in there and knead it all together.

You want all of the ingredients to be evenly dispersed throughout the ground chicken.

While your hands are nice and dirty, pinch off a little piece and form

them into one to one-and-a-half inch meatballs and then place them onto the

prepared baking sheet. Looks like I ended up with 18 meatballs. Not bad. They're a

pretty good size too! Next we're gonna bake these in the 400 degree oven for 25

to 30 minutes. If you like your meatballs extra crispy add an additional 15 minutes.

Chicken needs to be cooked to an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit

so you can always check for doneness with a thermometer.

Today we are going to share with you the recipe of our homemade clothes softener,

an easy and very economical softener to make, then come with us.

Look to make our softener we will need: Three cups of

vinegar or 700 ml. 3 cups of hair conditioner.

Look, I'm using this one, I really like this smell. But you have

than to think that the conditioner you are going to use, the more fragrant it is

the more fragrant your fabric softener will be. We are going to mix the three cups of

vinegar, with three cups of hair conditioner.

called Imprints and they were thumbprint art that were on stationery and little

picture frames and that sort of stuff and I sold them for like $1 a piece and

this is literally the sign that I had set out to sell my wares and as you can

pre-made designs or come up with your very own talk about this is me at 10 what's

hysterical though is I was looking at some of these going back in time and my

handwriting has not changed one iota I've always written this way so anyway I

thought you know let's do a blast from the past with you know miss entrepreneur

here and I'm going to show you how I first started out my first

entrepreneurial gig and that is with thumb print art so all you need is your

thumb and an ink pad and a pen and you too can impress yourself I'm going to

show you how right now for this project you will need an ink pad preferably not

black paper thin point markers and baby wipes now it takes a little bit of

practice so you're not going to want to do this on the sheet that you're gonna

actually make your artwork but it does take a little practice to make sure you

get the right amount of ink on your thumb and what you don't want to do is

you don't want to roll your thumb you just want the pad you don't want the

sides you know like when they do your finger prints when you're being taken in

by the FBI they roll your whole finger now you don't want that you just want to

get a nice good amount on your thumb and then just give it a bloot like that now

that's not bad it's a little dark then you can do a couple and you'll get

it to about where you want so that's about perfect that's a little too dark

that's a little too light this one is just right as they say with you know

Goldilocks and the Three Bears now I'm also gonna do one little guy

just to show you that you can also do pinkies pinky over there there we

go and you don't have to use your thumb

you can use any any finger that you prefer now this is why I told you to

have the baby wipes because you're going to want to wipe off your hands make sure

you get rid of all that ink before you do your artwork now the reason I say

don't do black is because it's just so dark that you just can't see anything

when you draw on it it's just dark so first thing we're gonna do is

we're going to start out with something simple now do understand I am drawing

upside down here but I'm gonna give it some ears like this and I'm gonna give

it a neck like that give it some hair and one eye

two eyes two little nostrils and I have myself a horse now what's fabulous and

wonderful about these little guys is that you know they're very very very

very simple so it's just like you know whatever speaks to you about that shape

they can become you know that can become an elephant's head that can become an

elephant's body and you know you don't have to do it just this way you can turn

yours and you can make it into something sideways like this

and there you've got a ladybug so use your imagination and go to town and remember

I told you the little one check this out...it's a

mouse let's give it some little ears I think they did the most fun thing to

do though is to make people and so I'm gonna make myself ready I'm gonna give

you some eyes some hair that crazy hair of mine that I can't do anything with I've

always got a big smile I can't forget what the overalls gotta have the overalls

and I've been way into ugg boots lately so I'm gonna give you my boots and put a

little pocket on there you can't forget the arms, Tada

and then just have some fun coloring it in and there you have it that's all

there is to impressing yourself take that thumbprint and just go crazy with

it let your imagination leave the station I mean it can be so much fun and

I am Christos and today I'm going to show you how you can build your own website in 5 simple steps.

The times where you needed to know code in

order to build a website are now gone, now anyone can build a website using ready-made

design templates and drag and drop utilities, so watch until the end of this video to find out how.

With all that being said lets start building our website.

For building the website we are going to use a free and extremely popular content management system called WordPress.

With Wordpress and the right tools we can create dynamic websites online shops and more.

WordPress also supports building websites with just drag and drop utilities and that

is what I'm going to teach you in this video.

The website we are building today is a simple website about a fictional gym called gymtron.

The website consists of three important pages which are probably a requirement for your

own website as well.

First we have the homepage that displays content about the several services offered by the

gym a testimonials section a gallery and prices section, moving on we have the about us page

that shows details about the team or the personnel of the gym and finally we have the contact

us page that displays a map several location details and a form that users can fill up

directly and contact the gym.

Here we see how the page will be displayed on a mobile phone.

Mobile support is an important aspect that I want to make you aware of since this is

something that you definitely need to take into consideration as many people will use

their phone to view your website, based on a google study, 50 to 60% of google searches

happen from a phone.

Taking all those into consideration stay with me and let's jump to the first step of building

your website that is choosing a domain name.

For building a website we require two main things one of them being the domain name.

The domain name in Simple Words is the URL for your website, that is the link that people

will use to navigate to your website, in our case at knowledge Desire our domain name is

Knowledgedesire.com.

Now once you come up with a good domain name that represent your brand or business,

you will have to check the availability of it.

For checking the availability of your domain first you need to click the link under this

video, from there you will find a tool that can tell you about the availability of your

domain. In my case the domain name I want for this website is gymtron.com. Enter the domain

name and click check availability.

If the domain name is available then we can move to the second most important step of

building your website that is registering with a web hosting provider.

A hosting provider is simply a service that keeps your website online at all times.

As you can see bluehost provides three hosting plans if you are building a single business

In case though you are thinking to build multiple websites under the same web hosting account

you can go with a more advanced option, in any case you can select your plan of choice

and follow the next steps normally.

Now after selecting the hosting plan you will have to enter your domain name on the box

and click next.

From there on, you will have to provide the information to the register form.

In the account information section provide all information required.

I will quickly do this and hide the details for obvious reasons.

Now the packages information is an important section where you will choose the number of

months you want to register for.

As you can see by increasing the number of months, the price per month drops.

Usually if you are building a website you want it for more than one year, except if

you are building something for a temporary project.

In my case since I'm building a business website I would select the 3 year plan.

Note that bluehost provides the domain name for free as i promised.

The package extras section contains several tools and services that you can include in

your purchase. The only extra i would suggest here it's the domain name privacy protection.

This is used to protect your registration data from the public.

Usually anyone from the Public can view the owner of a domain name using legitimate online

tools, but if you have this protection purchased no one will be able to see your information.

Finally after selecting your package extras you will have to provide a valid credit card

for the purchase take place.

After entering all the relevant information check the two check boxes and click submit.

Once the registration is done bluehost will take you to a page where you have to provide

a password for your account.

Click set password and provide a password for your account.

From there click login and Bluehost will login you to the account automatically.

Remember that after the registration is done and after you have set your password all your

relevant information of how to login in Bluehost and how to find your website will be sent

to your email.

Now we are going to the third step of our video which is installing WordPress with a

single click.

Bluehost provides this awesome single click functionality and it's starts by allowing

us to select a theme.

Themes are simply prebuilt designs that we can use on our wordpress website.

You can think of it as a template that we will edit further on.

For the website i am building I will be using the hestia theme.

Simply hover over the hestia and click use this theme.

Now bluehost will automatically set up your website and install the theme for you.

Once all the components of our website are done installing just click start building,

from there on bluehost will redirect us to the backend of our website.

In case you are wondering the backend is simply the control panel of WordPress that is accessible

only by you the owner or the administrator of the website.

Here you can change several settings for the website and create content for it, content

includes pages and even posts in case you're building a blog, so as you realised by now

this is the place we gonna be using to create our website.

In case you haven't realized the domain name displayed on the top of our browser is not the domain name you

purchased. The reason for this is because once you buy a domain name it takes some time

for it to be active, now in that case Bluehost provides us with a temporary domain name so we can work on

our website until the normal domain name is active.

Also remember that to access your website's backend without first logging in bluehost,

you can always navigate to yourdomain.com/wp-admin and there you can log in using your website's

credentials.

Before we move on to the next step of editing our website's pages let's just click I

don't need help and finally let's launch our site for it to be visible to the public.

Moving on we will jump to the fourth step of building our website which is installing

and editing the three pages templates.

Now that our wordpress is fully installed and published we can begin building the website.

The way we can view our website is by going to this home icon and clicking on it, in my

case I will open in a new tab.

As you can see this is a really empty page So Let's Begin building it.

Initially we need to hover over appearance and go to hestia options, remember hestia

is our theme and here there are some recommended actions we have to make in order to build

the website.

Here we have to install the orbit fox plug-in.

This will allow us to download different templates or (ready made pages) so we can edit them

as we like.

Once this plug-in is installed and activated you can see it appears here and by hovering

over it you can go to the template directory offered by the plugin.

There we can browse various templates that we can use.

In our case we are using the contact us, the about our business, and the material homepage

templates.

Let's Begin by editing the material Homepage.

Click install and import and this will download the template and it will open it in a drag and drop editor.

Click yes on this message.

So before we start editing the page let's understand some basic concepts.

Here we are using elementor for editing our page.

Elementor is a site builder that allows us to create web pages using drag and drop.

It provides us with several elements that we can use to build our page.

Other than elements Elementor provides us with several positioning tools, like sections,

inner sections and columns.

Now here we can see a section which is the heading section and below there is another

services section.

Moving on by clicking this dotted button we can edit the section using this left panel.

Inside this section we have another inner section that contains columns.

The section is divided in two columns and each column contains different elements.

The first column contains two heading elements and a button and the other column has a video

in it.

Initially I want to change the background of the first section, to do this we click

on section and then style, click on the image and then the image uploader will open.

We then upload the file we want and wait for the upload to be done.

Finally click insert media.

As you can see this image is a bit dark so I want to change it's opacity.

To do this go to background overlay and drop the opacity.

Very nice, now in my case I would like to remove this column and the video inside it,

so I will totally delete the column.

Moving on I would like to change the text of this button, so by clicking on it i can

change the text property.

Also I want to change the icon that is inside button, for this simply go to the icon dropdown

and search for a relevant icon.

Finally for this section I want to change the main heading to my gym's name, and then

provide some text that i would like to show to my customers.

Moving to the services section I will delete the column that contains the iPhone as I don't

need it.

As we can see though now all the services that appear to be in a single column and this

is not really nice as the services are stacked.

Note that the services by the way are a single element that has settings bundled together,

so to change this and have all the services in line we need to change the settings from

one column to 4 columns.

From there I will change the icon position for all the services to be in the centre and

increase it's size, also as you can see the position of the text seems wrong so I will

move it in the centre by changing the content alignment to center, let's also edit the

heading element, move the title in the center and then change it using the title property.

Finally for this services element as you can see we have little expansion panels for changing

the title, description and icon for each service.

First I will change the title for each service….

Then change the icons….. and finally change the descriptions.

Note that by clicking the add icon at the bottom you can add another service to the

services section.

Now let's move on and edit the testimonials section.

Initially I will change the section's background by going to style.

Upload the new image, wait for it to upload and then insert media.

Now our background is set.

Moving one let's change the title in the heading section and then remove the subtitle

at the bottom.

Now i have already copied the text i want for the testimonials and i will go through

each one of the testimonials and paste the text inside the text editor.

Then I will go through each testimonial and i will change the name of each person.

The name is a heading so we simply change the title property for each.

I'm going to also change the picture of each person in the testimonials.

By clicking on the first image I can upload all the images I need for the testimonials

and simply select the first one for that testimonial, I will then repeat the same steps for the

rest of the testimonials quickly.

Finally i will remove this small heading at the top of each picture

Next, let's edit the next section and create a gallery for our homepage.

I will change the title to some of our photos, remove the subtitle as i don't need it and

also delete the inner section thay contains those two stories.

Now lets drag a new element that is an image carousel.

From there i will go to the properties of the carousel and add images on it.

Select the images you want.

Now once those images are uploaded wordpress will ask you to create a gallery, just click

create new gallery and then insert the new gallery.

Now as you can see all the photos appear here.

Finally I would want to increase the image size so let's make it 300 pixels by 300

pixels.

Lastly for this page let's Create our pricing table.

Now each of those cards it's a pricing table element that has several properties that we

can change and modify to our liking.

Initially I will change the title of the first prising table and then its price.

Note that you can also change the period for each pricing table, you could enter anything from months

to minutes.

Next I will change the features for the pricing table.

Perfect let's now edit the text of the button.

Expand the button settings and change the text of it.

We can also add a link on the button for redirecting our user to a booking page for example.

Now i will edit the rest of the pricing tables quickly.

Congrats our homepage is done.

We can simply now update and save the changes of the page.

Then let's move outside of the editor and let's begin editing our next template.

Once wordpress redirects you outside the elementor builder navigate to orbit fox template directory

for picking the next template.

Select the about our business template and click import for the template to be opened

in the elementor editor.

Here as we can see we have the header with a nice video playing at the back, initially

we want to change the title to about our gym and then we want to remove the video and add

our own picture at the back.

Simply select a picture and upload a picture of you linking.

Once the upload is done click insert Media but note that once the picture is loaded it's

not showing.

The reason is that we have to remove the video link.

Also note that this video is coming from YouTube so you can choose your own video from YouTube

as your background if you like.

Moving on I will delete several sections and just keep the section that I need for projecting

the pictures for the personnel of the gym.

I will also delete the map here as we will have a map inside our contact page later on.

So Let's begin by editing the first card, I will simply upload all the pictures for

my personel and I will select the first one for the first card, insert media and as we

Insert media and as we can see the first picture is changed.

Then I would change the heading beneath this picture and give it the name of the person

displayed and lastly I will change the description with some text.

I will also edit the rest quickly.

Perfect, now we are done editing this page, let's click update for the settings to be

saved.

Ohh and something else I want also to remove that button below the title so I will simply

delete it, save the changes again and exit the editor.

Again let's go back to the orbit fox plug in the templates directory and let's choose

the next template for our next page which is the contact us page.

Select it and click import.

Inside this template we will keep most of the things as they are.

The only thing missing here is a form but we will correct this later.

Starting off I will add a new address to be displayed on the map.

Once the new address is set you will see that the map direction changes, note that we can

also adjust the zoom for a better view.

Moving on, lets edit the area of the contact form, I will remove this text and then I will

edit the short code.

You might be wondering what is the short code, this is simply a code that we can use to call

functions from another plug ins, in our case we will insert a short code that displays

a form on our contact page.

Now I will remove the default shortcode and leave it empty for later.

Next I will change the colour of the icons at the section here and I will make them orange

so that they match our homepage style.

Finally let's save and exit the editor for installing the contact form plug-in so that

we can get the short code we need.

To install a new plugin in wordpress just hover over plugins and select add new, there

search for contactform 7.

So here it is, install it, and once the plugin is installed click activate.

When the contact form plugin is activated we will see a new tab on the righthand side

called contact.

Simply click on it and you will see a list containing contact forms. In our case the contact for it's going to be one.

Locate and copy its shortcode and let's go back and add it inside our template.

Navigate to pages find the contact us page and click edit with elementor.

Finaly for this page find the shortcode element and let's paste the new shortcode in it,

then we click apply and there is the form.

Update the page and exit Elementor.

If you have watched until here keep watching for the final step, that is personalizing

our website.

Now before we move on let's check how our website looks like.

hmm here as you can see we need to change the title of the website and the homepage

itself as it is not displaying anything yet.

In WordPress we select which one of our pages is going to be homepage.

So let's go and change the title and the homepage of the site. Hover over the settings and click general.

At the top of this page there is something called site title, remove whatever is inside this textbox

and add your site's name.

Finally go to the bottom and click save changes.

Once the settings are saved you have to navigate to the reading section of the settings for

selecting which page will be your homepage.

From the dropdown select the material homepage to be your homepage and then save the changes.

Then navigate back to the pages section of WordPress were we can see all of our pages.

Before we do anything here though let's check how our website looks like now that we have

change the default homepage.

As you see everything is in place, all sections display normally.

Note though that we also need to add a menu so that we can allow our user to easily navigate

through the pages.

Before we do this let's tidy up things.

Go back to pages and let's remove the pages that we do not want.

As you can see we are left with the homepage, the contact us page and the about us page.

Now let's change the names of those pages to something that fits our situation.

To edit the title of the page simply click edit and the WordPress editor will open up.

Form there we can click on the top where the title is found and change it, then click update

and then changes will be saved.

Now let's change the title of the next page.

Contact us page is fine I will keep it as it is and edit the material of the homepage.

I will simply change this title to home.

Update this.

Now that we are done naming our pages let's create a menu for our site.

Simply hover over appearance and go to menus, In WordPress when creating menus we have to

provide them with a name, so let's call it main menu.

Now click create and once the menu is created we will add pages in it.

In my case I will add all 3 pages.

Then using the plus symbols on the side we can choose an icon for each page on the menu.

After choosing the icons for each of your pages we can then change the ordering of the

pages using drag and drop.

Finally click save menu and once the settings are saved let's hop to our theme which is

found under appearance.

There we need to tell the theme that we want a specific menu to be displayed on the top

right for our website.

Simply click on themes and customise the active theme which is hestia

in our case.

From here we can go to the menus section and select the main menu as our primary menu.

Click publish and you will see on the top right that we have our menu set.

One thing that we need to fix though is the colouring as it is not consistent.

When hovering over the menu the text becomes pink and as you can also see, this button

here is also pink.

To fix those inconsistencies we simply have to go in the appearance settings and change

the public colour of our theme.

Here I will paste the colour code I want for my theme which is this orange colour.

Now click publish and there it is, the color is changed.

If we switch the page we see the color of our menu has also changed, so now let's go

and add a logo to our page.

To do this simply go to the beginning and select site identity, from there select a logo

and upload it.

Once the logo is uploaded we will have the chance to crop it and edit it as we like.

Click crop image and the logo.

Publish the changes and exit the customizer using the X button on the top left.

Now that we made those nice changes let's go and view our site

As you can see the logo and menu are displaing as expected.

Now by clicking on top menu we can switch between pages.

The coloring is applied as well.

The about us page also displays fine as we can see.

and this applies to all pages.

By clicking the logo we can also navigate to the homepage. Now let's use the developer

tools of Chrome to check if our website is fully mobile responsive.

To do this simply go to Chrome settings tools and then select development tools or you can

just hit F12 button on most browsers.

From there simply click the mobile tablet button and the browser window will change

to the size of a mobile phone.

Unfortunately though we have some alignment issues and some elements overlapping others,

so let's fix this. Navigate back to the backend and then

go to pages, from there go to homepage and this time edit it with Elementor.

Now elementor has settings for different screen sizes in our case let's now switch to the mobile view

and let's find the element that has a problem

so whenever you see these three icons next to a setting it means that this setting it's

different for each screen size size in our case let's change the services alignment to

centre for the phone.

lastly let's go to testimonials section and let's fix overlapping issue now click

on the first column which contains the card and go to advanced tab, there change the margin

for this column. The margin is simply the space outside of our box so if we specify 70

on the bottom margin we're giving the box 70 pixels below it so anything else below

our box will be pushed 70 pixels further.

Now I will apply the same to all of our testimonial columns .

Now that we are done with the changes click update and let's refresh our page on the

mobile and see if the bugs are fixed.

As we can see now the services are in the center and testimonials are not overlapping

each other.

but why would you want to create your own presets? Well, that's easy faster editing

So let's say that you bought some other creators presets and you apply one of those presets to one of your images

Obviously that preset is not going to suit your image perfectly. You're gonna have to make some changes to it

You might go into the exposure and change that maybe the white balance

Maybe go into the shadows and change that maybe the contrast and so on

These are some basic

Adjustments that you must do to every image even when using presets but let's say that there is a preset that you really like for

Example this Sri Lanka preset that I have from my travel preset pack

But maybe you prefer to have less of a fade to make the green colors more yellowish

Just like this and now that you've made these changes you might wanna have this same look across all your images and instead of having

To make these changes over and over again on all your images. Just save this as a new preset

a preset of your own. That's very simple to do just go into the presets tool in the bottom right hand of the toolbar

Press the three dots in the top right hand corner and choose create preset

Then you give your preset a name

Save it to a preset folder and then press ok in the top right hand corner of the screen

And now you can apply this preset to any of your images with a click of a button just like that

I'm going to show you how to make money online without dealing with any scams.

And I'm going to sit down at my computer right here and show you 2 ways of

making money. One is a guaranteed way of making money

doing basic tasks. And the second is a way that you can earn millions of

dollars selling products online with reputable companies. How do you make

money online without dealing with any scams? Because there are a lot of scams

out there and I'm going to be going over how you do this? So, the first way to keep

yourself from dealing with scams if you're trying to learn how to create a

business online is dealing with reputable companies. And there's one

major factor which you can use to determine if a company's reputable.

Anybody can claim their company is reputable. The number one factor is this.

Time and business is the number one factor that you need to be looking at in

terms of dealing with reputable companies. Now, there's 2 basic

categories of work that you can do online. And I'm going to go over one in each

category. And a reputable company can work within each category to get you

started with making just some money online. Now, the 2 basic categories are

the following tasks. And tasks can be just things that anybody can do. They're

things that generally, you'll get paid an hourly wage for. You know, basic work. You

know, basic work but you can do it online and make money doing it.

The second is where you can make real money. And it's selling stuff. If you're

not really looking to think and you don't have many skills, tasks are very

easy thing. But if you're looking to be more entrepreneurial and think outside

of the box and make hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars even

online, you'll want to learn how to sell things online. So, let's go over to my

computer and I'm going to show you an example of each a company that works

with each of these. So, the first company that we're going to be looking at is

in Amazon. Amazon is one of the best companies that has a lot of basic tasks

for you to do whether you have skills or no skills. It's a great place to earn a

lot of money. And they've been in business again, 25 years. So, very

reputable company. You know, everybody's heard of Amazon. And

second off, they've been in business since nearly the beginning of the

internet. So, it's a great example of a company to work for. Where you'll want to

go is... And I'm going to put the link in the description. It's called Mechanical Turk.

It's called Amazon Mechanical Turk. And what they do is they have what are

called hits. H-I-T. Which are Human Intelligence Tasks. And they have

thousands and tens of thousands and even hundreds of thousands of these tasks

that have gone up. And you can see right here on my screen, there's tons of stuff.

Transcribed 35 seconds of media to text. You know, market research surveys.

You know, there's opinion surveys. There's a lot of different surveys, there's a lot

of different identifying photos. Identifying videos, transcribing,

translations. There's all sorts of tasks here. And you can see how easy it is. You

just accept and work. Now, you don't make a lot of money per task. You can make

something like... You know, look. This one's 17 cents and there's some that make you

make a couple dollars per task. But they don't take very long. And it's a good

place to get started working online that you can make money instantly. Okay,

instantly. Which is pretty crazy. So, it's a good place to start. But again, you're

not going to make a lot of money. Now, if you start building up your qualifications,

you see some of these tasks I have to qualify for. You can make more and more

amounts of money. To give you guys a little a little secret here, there's a

reddit community. If you're looking for the most high value tasks, there's a

little reddit community. I'm going to put the link in my description. So, make sure

you like this video and subscribe to this channel. If you like these little

secrets. But the link for this is... The most valuable human intelligence tasks

is in the description and it's on a reddit sub forum.

And you can see it's listing out. You know. some of the most valuable tasks or

of the behavioral survey. Which takes about 5 minutes. Another survey on

your opinions. So, think like an astronaut. So, you get all these different... They're

listing out the most valuable tasks of the day. Because they're new tasks every

day on Amazon. Now, the second category of stuff you can do is selling. So again, we

talked about the 2 ways to make money online. Tasks... Tasks,

you're guaranteed money. You won't make as much because it's hourly or generally

it takes your time and it's very basic, But selling... The thing about selling

products online is you could make nothing. In fact, chances are you'll

probably make zero dollars online. Most people don't stick with it but it

because if you're selling products, it's on a commission only basis. But on the

other hand, you can make million. You know, you you could make hundreds of thousands

or millions or tens of millions of dollars like I do online. Selling

products online is called affiliate marketing. Affiliate marketing is selling

somebody else's product for them and receiving a commission for that. If we go

to Amazon. Amazon actually has an affiliate program too. In fact, you

know, their affiliate program is very good. If you scroll to the bottom of the

page here, like I just did. Yeah, you'll see this link right here in the footer.

See it says "Make Money With Us", right? And it says become an affiliate. See that

become an affiliate. Now, if we click that you see you can earn up to 10%

of the product by advertising. By recommending somebody purchase a product

on Amazon. So, just just for instance, I could I could find a book I really like.

You know, I really like this book called The Millionaire Fastlane by MJ DeMarco.

And I could take that book and I could, you know, I've signed up for their

affiliate program. So, you see the site stripe thing right here. So, let's

actually look up that book. Let me show you guys how you do affiliate marketing.

Fastlane... So, I searched this book. I've already signed up for their

affiliate program. So, click their book. And what I'll do is see up there it says

click Get Link, okay? Get link. Now, I just take this link and I'm going to right click

and I'm going to copy. And if I wanted to I'd go to Facebook and I just type... I

ride a little bit I'd say, "Hey, want to make..." You know, "Want to make money online?"

You know? "Buy this book." Buy this book. "And learn how." And now, if anybody buys that

book, I'll get you know 10% commission. Which means I'll make like a buck, right?

I'll make like a buck or 2. That's how affiliate marketing works. Okay,

you're not going to make millions making a buck or two here and there. Amazon is

obviously a reputable company but how would you like it if I could show you

companies that would pay you 75% or even 90% commission's

on the products you sold for them? That's what I'm going to show you right here? And

this is the main company I use to sell products online with. And it's called

Clickbank. And I'm going to call go over to Clickbank right now. Now, Clickbank is a

company based out of Idaho. And they've been around for 21 years. So, they haven't

been around as long as Amazon. But to be a company in the internet space, that's

been around for 21 years, still pretty good, very reputable. So, let's go over to

Clickbank right now and I'm going to show you this site. So, Clickbank is the

company I use to find products and sell products. And I have my own products on

Clickbank as well. As you see right here. It says, "You can earn commissions as high

as 75%." So, they're built for people who are you know, selling products online.

Again, would you rather make 75% of the products you sell or would you rather

make 5 to 10% like you do on Amazon? I'd rather make 75%. You know, that's what I

do. The other thing about Clickbank is you

get recurring commissions. So, Amazon, you can send... You can

recommend products on Amazon but they won't pay recurring commissions. And what

I love about Clickbank is you can make money over and over and over again. So,

you can sell a product once but you can make money every single month. And I've

been marketing for years now. And I have customers that bought a product I

recommended 3 years ago. That I still earn money on. Now, imagine if you had

people that, you know, bought a $97 product from you and you're still

earning $75 every single month. Imagine if you got a lot of

those customers. You have a huge base of recurring income which is at the point

where I'm at in my career. So, this is what I recommend if you're looking to

make money online without any scams. I hope this has been useful for you.

Hi This is Solee. I want to show you how to make perfect poached eggs.

I have two eggs here because I'm going to show you two different ways.

Crack the egg and put it in a sift to get rid of watery egg white.

Then carefully put it into a teacup or a small bowl.

This could help to hold the shape when you put the eggs into hot water.

If you don't get rid of the watery egg white, it would turn into fluffy bits stick on your eggs.

These white bits would make the surface of your eggs not very smooth as they should be.

Put the eggs in tea cups or bowls in advance, so it is easier to manage the cooking time.

First method: Bring a pot of water into the boil.

The water is about 5 inches deep.

Turn off the heat.

Use a tool to make a whirlpool in the water.

Pour the egg right in the middle of the whirlpool.

Do it close to the surface of the water.

This method make the perfect shape, but only can cook one egg every time.

It takes 3 minutes to poach the egg.

The second method is almost the same. Bring to a pot of 5 inches deep water into the boil.

Turn off the heat.

Don't need to stir the water.

Just pour the egg into the water close to the surface of the water.

You could see better from another angle.

You could cook 3 eggs at the same in this pot.

It take 3 minutes to 3 minutes 15 seconds if you cook more than one egg.

If you cook more than one egg, make sure you take them out in order.

The first egg has a better shape, but the second is nice too.

Dry the egg with kitchen roll carefully.

I make a poached egg on toast today.

Butter a piece of nice toast. Put the poached egg on top.

Add a pinch of sea salt and black pepper.

Then put some chopped chives on top. Chives go very well with eggs.

Perfectly cooked.

If your video does call for 3D animation, a good rule of thumb is to allow for at least

6-8 weeks for a one-minute video.

This is because 3D animation requires a totally different workflow and skillset to produce,

and it's a bit more complex than standard 2D animation.

Sometimes explainer videos can take longer

to make if there are a ton of little changes requested from you, the client

This is totally fine with us since we offer unlimited revisions at every round of the

production process.

One thing that helps is to have a clear vision of what you want, and then clearly communicate

that to us.

So we know that making an explainer video probably not the only thing on your plate

and we totally understand if it takes a few days for you to respond to our updates

But wherever your explainer video project sits on your list of priorities, just know

that the time it takes to respond to our updates can affect the turnaround time.

Have a good idea of where you expect your explainer video to be played, like your website,

YouTube channel, etc.

It's ok if you're not 100% certain, but telling us ahead of time that your explainer

video will be played on Instagram, for example, will help us set the stage when we build out

the video to make sure we meet Instagram's requirements for video.

And we offer multiple versions your video for free, so we have you covered wherever

you plan to play your video.

When it comes to communicating changes, email usually beats phone calls

Since they provide a track record of what needs to be changed, plus they help you think

through your changes before sending them over.

But if you're more of a phone person, that's ok too!

Just try to have your changes ready ahead of time so it's a focused use of both our

time.

Share brochures, one-pagers and any other marketing material with us, so that we can learn as

much as we possibly can about your product or service.

How to Make a Flat Bottom Makeup Bag with Easy Zipper Tabs - Duration: 23:32.

hi and welcome back to Darvanalee Designs Studio for those that don't know my name

is Nicole Reed and if you're new here hit that subscribe button and ring the

little bell icon and that way you won't miss out on any future posts... so today

you might be wondering what we're actually going to be making we're

actually going to be making this gorgeous little flat bottom makeup bag using

my easy tab method and we're also going to do some basic quilting so let's get

started

today we're going to make a quick and easy zipper pouch using my technique of

the zipper tabs basically I have had comments come in from people that have

watched my easy zipper tabs and they would like to see the whole thing constructed from

start to finish and how I saw it in so that's what we're going to do today

alright so there's a couple of things that you're going to need today you're

going to need some foam for your exterior fabric you're going to need

some shape flex 101 for your lining fabric you're going to need exterior

fabric and a lining fabric you're also going to need some zipper tabs and

you're going to need a zipper a rotary cutter a marking device some matching

thread a zipper foot and as well as your patch working foot and some quilting

rulers you might need you a quick unpick as well so have that on hand just in

case you need to unpick all righty so the first thing that we need to do is

fuse all our interfacing onto our exterior and lining fabric and as I said

we are going to put the shape flex 101 onto our lining fabrics and the foam

onto our exterior fabric okay so you can see here that I fused onto on my phone

and I've also put the shape flex 101 on to the lining so we're just going to set

our lining aside for just a moment so I'm going to actually quilt the outside

of mine I'm going to keep it really simple just do some straight-line

quilting but if you want to do some free motion or you get get a little bit

creative go right ahead so I'm just gonna grab my ruler and I'm

just going to do a large crosshatch on this one I'm going to grab my friction

pen or my chakra marker whatever you've got available and then I'm just going to

actually use my 45-degree mark on my ruler and I'm going to line that up

along the the straight edge here and then I'm going to bring this two inch

mark down to the point of my fabric so you can see there that that is just

going to be coming down so I'm going to bring the two inch down so you can see

here that the junction of the two inch is on the corner of my fabric and the

45-degree angle is along the edge of my fabric that's just going to give me a

good angle there so I'm just going to repeat that all the way along at two

inch intervals making sure that I'm lining everything up you can do a

smaller crosshatch if you want to I'm just going to do a big one to make it a

nice quick easy project to do so you can see that I'm just lining up my two inch

mark on the line that I just marked and I'm going to repeat that for the other

side of my exterior as well all right so I've got to the edge there and then what

I'm going to do is I'm just going to spin it so I can mark going the opposite

way now and again the same thing I just line up that 45 degree angle on my ruler

along the edge of my fabric and then I just slide down until I've got the two

inch cross junction they're lining up already so I can now mark that and then

I just do exactly the same thing two inch interval and the reason I use the

45 is because then I know that I'm getting a correct angle because you

could line your two-inch up and be slightly out a bit so I've got those two

positions to mark so I've got the two inch mark as well as the 45 on the edge

of the straight edge of my fabric and then I know that I'm getting a straight

line then all we're going to do we're going to stitch on those lines and

you don't need a backing for it because we're just going to do a quick quilt

repeat that with the other side and then we'll be ready to go okay so we're at

the sewing machine and all we're going to do is on those lines that we marked

we're actually just going to stitch but before we do we just want to lengthen

our stitch lengths up to a 3.0 because you want it you don't want it to be like

your regular stitch you won't have a little bit of length to it and then

basically we just follow those lines

and with the needle in the down position you can actually just spin it around and

follow another line and that way you don't actually have to break your cotton

so you can see there that I'm just going to go across here and my next line

starts here so I can go down this way and that just saves you having to catch

a cotton every time and you don't have to go off the edge either because we do

have our quarter inch seam allowance in this as well so if you've never quilted

anything before this is a great way to a great quick way to quilt something and

it just gives a little bit of dimension to your to your project and if you go a

little bit off the line don't worry about it it's okay it's just a little

zipper pouch and you don't have to stress that it's super perfect or

anything like that that's not what it's about it's about

learning a new craft or learning how to make

something and enjoying the process so you can see here I just keep the needle

in the down position and I just start stitching on that line again this is

also another good way to practice your free motion quilting is it's a smaller

project you're not having to stress about the backing or anything like that

puckering up or anything on the back you can just get in there and have a really

good go at it right and that is my last model so I can cut my thread okay so you

can see there that I've quilted that up okay and you can see on the back a

little bit better it's just a nice little crosshatch nice and quick and it

just gives it a little bit of structure as well to the bag so I'm going to head

over to the ironing board and get rid of those marks and then we'll move on to

the next step and now what we're going to do is we're going to make sure that

it's measuring ten across this way and nine down this way and that's what I

want because this is where I want my zipper to go is on the ten inch part I

don't want my bag to be high I want to be a little bit wider so in this video I

am actually showing you how to box up your corners and how to install a zipper

into it as well okay so what we're going to do now is we're going to make a few

cuts to our the bottom of our exterior fabric and the bottom of our lining

fabric and that'll just make it a little bit easier when we go to box up the

corners alrighty so what you want to do is you want to just grab your ruler okay

and you want to mark out two inches so I'm just going to line on the edge of my

fabric along the bottom and the ledge of the fabric on the side I'm just going to

mark two inches I'm going to actually repeat that on the opposite corner and

then for all my pieces to my bag now if you're using directional fabric make

sure that you're doing it at the bottom of your fabric and not at the side or

the top okay because you want your directional fabric to be the right

direction so you don't want to cut these corners out so you can see there I've

just marked a box there and that's the bit that I'm going to cut out so I'll

just grab my rotary cutter for that

and I just go along that line I don't worry about using a ruler and

you know just cut that corner out and then I can just use this piece as a

template or I can just use my ruler

again along the edge of the fabric you can just use your rotary cutter like so

but you do run the risk of cutting too much and you don't want that alrighty so

you can see there I've just cut out some squares down the bottom they are 2

inches in size for this particular dimension and the reason that I want

that is because that's going to give me a really nice flat bottom to this pouch

I think it measures about 4 out of 4 inches off the top of my head doing that

rough calculation so repeat that for the other side of your exterior fabric and

also your lining fabric as well ok so you can see there that I've done my

exterior and I've done my lining and next we're moving onto the zipper tabs

so just set that aside and then grab your zipper and your zipper tabs

alrighty so the first thing that you want to do is you just want to fold your

zipper tab in half both of them and if you haven't seen our video on a quick

and easy zipper tabs I'll put that in a link down below and also card that up in

the top corner just there and all you're going to do is basically fold them in

half to make a crease mark and then where that crease mark is just grab your

ruler and you can do both at the same time and you're just going to draw a

line like so okay and that is the line that you're actually going to be

stitching on all right so to prepare our zipper we'll just grab one of our

exterior parts okay and you can see here that this zipper isn't quite big enough

which is okay because what we're going to do when we add the zipper tabs on

that will give us enough room to sew everything through but I want to get rid

of this metal stop here so I'm just going to grab my scissors and just on

that side of the metal stop I'm just going to snip that

you can use your rotary cutter but I just used my paper scissors for that

because I'm going through that those plastic zipper teeth and I just make

that nice and straight and then on this side I want to get rid of that metal

stop as well so I just moved my zipper just a little bit because we don't want

to take it completely off the tape and again I will just on the pull side I

will just get rid of that metal stop so you can see there I've just got rid of

it that way there's no risk of us sewing that on alright so now what we're going

to do is we're going to sew a zipper tabs on so you can see here that we've

got these larger larger zipper tails which is great and what we're going to

do is we're going to come in quarter of an inch from the end and we're just

going to make a mark like so and we're going to do the same down the other end

just a quarter inch mark like so and that is where we're going to we're going

to line this line up with that line there and I'm going to stitch on that

line now you might need to put a wonder clip

or a pin or something like that to hold it in place I generally just use my

small glass head pins and I just hold the zipper tab in place just like so so

that's not going to fall off when I go to the machine and then I can just move

this down a little bit and this end because this one end will come apart on

you what I tend to do is I just grab my pins and I just sort of weave it and you

can see that that's going to hold it in place and then I'll grab my other zipper

tab and align my lines up and then put a couple of pins in and then I'll just

head over to the sewing machine and do a straight stitch across and do a little

bit of a reverse as well that always helps to to secure it in

place just gives it a little bit more reinforcement so I'll just go across

once and then go back across and then come across again so I'm gonna head up

to the sewing machine and do that and then we'll be ready to assemble our bag

so you can see there that I've just stitched across it I can remove my pins

now there you go that's a zipper tab so all you're going

to do now is just fold that across okay and just um you can put a little bit of

heat on that and that'll get rid of that I'm on the opposite side so you're not

actually on the nylon teeth and you can see there that my little zipper goes all

the way up and now we're ready to install it okay so we're ready to

install our zipper so all I've done is I've added the tabs on and you can see

that the tabs are slightly wider than the zipper tape so I'm just going to

trim that up with my scissors and I generally use my pinking shears for that

and I just trim it up so it's even with the zipper tape and I do the same on the

opposite end and that alright so I have already found the center of my zip and

to do that I just fold it in half and then I found the center and then I

followed my exterior fabric in half and I found the center there as well and

then what I do is I align those two marks up with my zipper facing down onto

my exterior then I'll just pop a pin in there just to hold it in place and you

can see that everything's lining up with that raw edge there quite nicely and

then I'm just going to get one of my lining pieces and I'm going to align

everything up so I make sure that the bottom is lining up and the top is

aligning out and then I just make sure that so you can see there that the

zipper tapes come down a bit so I've just got to pull that up hold that in

place place my lining on there and pop a pin in and I do that all the way along

you can use washaway type if you prefer to use that I just prefer to use pins

sometimes I'll actually use a basting glue to hold my zip in place

but for a small project like this I don't tend to worry about it too much

right so now what I'm going to do is I'm going to attach my zipper foot to my

machine and then I'm going to stitch as basically straight along here reversing

at the beginning and end just to hold that into place give it a little bit

more security and don't forget to move your zipper pull out of the way when you

do that so you can see there that I've stitched along there along the edge of

the teeth of the zipper and now we can open this up and you can see that that

everything is lining up quite nicely so now what we need to do is add our other

side of exterior and lining so basically what you do with your zipper facing up

this time you grab your exterior fabric and you place that on there and lining

up all your all your bottom edges and all your raw edges along the side making

sure everything's lining up and then just pop a pin in you can use wonder

clips as well as I said it earlier and that's just going to hold everything in

place for me and then I will flip it over and then place the lining on it and

a good way a real good rule of thumb to remember if you're doing it right is

right sides together with the fabric so you can see here that the zippers teeth

is facing up and I've got my exterior fabric facing up so this piece that goes

onto it next is the exterior fabric to there and if I was doing it the opposite

way you can see that my lining fabric is what's going to be touching so you just

want to make sure that you've got your right fabrics in the right place and

that's that's a good little rule of thumb to remember so I'm pretty happy

with how that's all aligning up so I'm just going to flip it over and then I'm

going to get my lining fabric and I'm going to pop that on to that zipper tape

and then just repin that and then I'll head over to the sewing machine just

make sure all your raw edges are lining up it'll just make it a lot easier when

it comes time to assemble the bag you can see there that my three layers are

together so there's the line the zipper tape and the exterior fabric

and you can see that all their raw edges are lining up so head over to your

sewing machine and stitch that section down stitch that down and now we are

ready to get move on to top stitching so basically what you want to do now is you

want to head over to your ironing board and give it a really good press and make

sure that's your lining fabric isn't near your zipper teeth or anything like

that and give it a good good pressing and make sure that your zipper is

working correctly and then once you've done that we'll be ready for top

stitching okay so you can see there that I've pressed that all down so what I'm

going to do now is I'm going to head over to my sewing machine and I'm going

to top stitch 1/8 of an inch on that fabric there and making sure that it's

all smooth underneath alright and because you are going through the foam I

would suggest that you lengthen your stitch length to what you quilted with

which I are lengthened mine to a 3.0 but just have a bit of a test on your you've

got some little leftover bits here so you can actually test your stitch length

on that there so give that a go first before you do stitch it down so 1/8 of

an inch on either side here and top stitch that down ok so you can see there

that we've top stitch and our zipper is working quite nicely so that's always a

good sign that we've done everything correctly so you can see here that I've

just top stitch on both sides down either side of that zipper and that just

gives it a little bit of it finishing off alrighty so now what you want to do

is you want to open your zipper to about halfway because now we're going to do

the final assembly of the little pouch so basically you're going to get your

right side fabrics and you're going to place them pretty sides touching grab a

1/2 clip and hold that into place and you want to make sure that your corner

down here is aligning and your raw edges are aligning as well and you're going to

work your way around and you're also going to do your lining as well but just

make sure that your zipper tab is facing towards so you can see here I'm just

pushing it up and making sure that it's facing toward the exterior fabric and

proper clip in there and then line up your lining fabrics and the bottom end

as well but here you're actually going to leave a gap so we can turn our pouch

through usually do about a three inch gap and then I pop some pins in there so

I don't see them just as a reminder making sure that my zipper tab is go

it's pushing up towards the exterior fabric and pop a pin in there now what

we're going to do is we're actually going to sew all the way around except

for the section that we've left to get for and we're not going to sew these

parts here so you're going to sew this here along this one and then along this

one and then here reversing at the beginning of the end

okay so we've sewn all the way around so we've gone down the both long sides and

we've gone down the exterior side we've gone down all the way and at this end

we've left our little opening so now we're at the point of boxing up our

corners and this is super easy you just need to get pins or some wonder clips

and all we're going to do is open that up and line our seams up so you can see

I've got one there and one there we're going to line them up and then we'll put

a wonder clip or a pin into that and then all we're going to do is align our

raw edges up alrighty so once we've boxed up our corner and we've got our

pins in we're going to head over to the sewing machine and we're actually going

to stitch a quarter inch seam allowance straight across there and you're going

to repeat that with all four corners okay so you can see there that I've

boxed up all the corners and now we can turn our pouch in the right way so I

just stick my hand in to the pouch and my zipper was already open and I can

just pull that straight through

see there that everything's lining up quite nicely

now all those left to do is to close up the bottom of our pouch and I'm going to

do that this by top stitching it so there you go I've just top stitch that

closed with an eighth of an inch seam allowance and now I can make sure that

my pouch is all pulled out and it will be all done so our little zipper pouch

is now done you've got a flat bottom you've also got your zipper tabs in

there and all that's left to do is to put a little bit of bag bling on there

but everybody loves a little bit of bag bling and there we go well thank you

easy method for the zipper tabs and also creating that nice flat bottom it gives

it a nice base so it stands up and it doesn't fall over the front on you it's

10 Principles To Make Millions In Real Estate: Cash Flow - Duration: 7:10.

Welcome back friend. So, we're continuing this conversation of how do we make

millions of dollars in real estate. You got to understand 10 core foundational

principles. And today, I'm going to talk about the foundational principle of cash

flow.

You watch any of my videos. It's a word I use all the time. And you might be

thinking, I don't know if I understand exactly what Kris means when he talks

about cash flow. I'm going to give you my very technical understanding of that. I'm

going to talk about why it's important. And again, it's one of the 10 principles

that you need if you want to know how to make millions of dollars in real estate.

So, this is the principle that got me the most excited about real estate in the

first place. Because cash flow is tied to residual income. Cash flow and residual

income are not the same thing. Cash flow is a leftover by-product. Which

I'm going to explain to you. And residual income is money that comes in no matter

what. They're closely linked. Check this out.

We're buying a house. And let's just say for all intents and purposes that this

is a house that we're buying for $100,000. I know some of

you live in parts of the country you're like, "I can't buy a house for 100...."

That's okay. Connect with me and my team. Get involved

with us. I'll actually give you access to the markets where this stuff is real. So

it's not just hypothetical. Some of you have backyards like in LA and New York

where you should not be investing. Should not. You shouldn't buy be buying things

above the national median. So, if we have a house that we can get for

$100,000. And let's just say for a moment that when we buy this house,

we're buying it in a specific market. Where we're less interested in

discounted equity. And we're more interested in maximizing cash flow. Let's

say that this particular house has a... Once you buy it for $100,000

we're going to put a 20% down payment which is going to be $20,000.

So now, the house, regardless whether it's worth 100 or 120, we owe 80 on

it. And that mortgage of $80,000 is going to have a payment associated with it.

Let's just say that that payment on that mortgage... We're going to refer to that

mortgage as P-I-T-I. Principal and Interest, Taxes and Insurance. All 4 of

those things come into making up what your real payment is going to be. So, your

principal and interest of your total payment might be $500.

But then you're like well taxes are $2,000 a year. So if I back

that up and divide that out and add in my insurance... Let's just say for this

example that with principal interest, taxes and insurance my payment actually

becomes $650 a month. But let's say this is a

house that you can rent out for $1,000 a month on rent. If this house is rented

out and I have a true cost of 650 a month, what's left over?

Well $1,000 minus 650 equals a

byproduct of $350 a month cash flow. Now, cash flow

means the difference between what's owed and what I'm getting. Residual income

means I'm getting it without working. So, let's say I own this out of state. Let's

say I have a property manager managing it. Let's just say I do nothing but

collect the money. Now, that's a true residual income. So right now, the average

millionaire has 5 streams of income. They don't just make all their money at

a job and that's it. They have multiple streams of income. You now have a new

stream of income because maybe one stream is from a job and now another

stream comes from the property that you own. Now the $350

a month, if you take a look at that, think of some of the bills that you

have in life. I remember when my first car had a payment of 340 dollars a month.

That house would actually buy my car. So, I could be driving all around town and

enjoying this car. And the reality is it's actually being paid for by my house.

It's not me trading dollars and hours. And this is really the goal of cash flow.

You have got to stop trading dollars in hours. This is what so many people don't

understand. When my wife and I bought our first house, we were living for free.

Because the basement we brought in the cash flow covered the whole mortgage. And

we still got to live in a part of the house. My second house had a $600 month

cash flow. So, living for free and getting $600 a month on the third month of

owning that, my wife who was terrified of investing and totally skeptical. Finally,

she said, "Kris, I keep getting this left over $600. What is this?" And I said, "Honey,

that's called cash flow." She's like, "Okay, what do we do with it?" She was trying to

do the budget and the balance sheet and couldn't figure out where to put the

money. Because it didn't come from my job. I said, "Honey, we now have 2 streams of

income. Job and now we also have our investments." And I asked her. I said, "What

have you been doing with it?" She's like, "I've been paying off the credit cards."

I'm like, "How does that feel?" She's like, "I love it."

So after conversation, you know my wife said? She

said, "Kris, we need to buy more real estate." That's when we dreamt of

producing a cash flow of $10,000. Now, we reverse engineered. If you

know how much money that you want to make that will buy your freedom then you

got to ask the question. How much, how many homes do you need to buy to meet

that? For us, we knew that we needed 25 homes. And that if we could find a way to

buy 25 homes, then we would have $10,000 a month. And I'll tell you that by the

time we got to 25 homes, it wasn't 10,000 a month. It was actually $12,000

a month. And that's when I quit my job. And I realized, "Oh, my gosh. I'm free again."

Like I'm off a financial life-support. Like I can live life the way I want. I

can live life on my terms. It was so exciting. That's why you need to

understand this principle. $350? You might look at that

and say, "Kris, that's not a lot." No. This is the magic number. How many homes do you

need? And then you start saying, "But Kris, I don't got the money to buy 25

homes. I don't even have the money to buy one." And that's why you need to learn how

to buy homes with OPM --Other People's Money. That's why you need to learn how

to be resourceful. It's not about how many resources you have. It's about how

resourceful you are. And I'm going to teach you how to be resourceful that I'll show

you how to get your hands on deals, how to get your hands on money. Marry the 2
